The whole concept of having to schedule an appointment in order to get into urgent care is absolutely ridiculous. You can’t schedule a sick kid and a sick child should not have to sit and suffer due to all appointments for the day being filled or scheduled already. Do better! And when you do finally get in prescriptions should be sent to the pharmacy in a timely manner not 30-40 minutes after you have been waiting at the pharmacy. I understand some things are out of our control but seriously there has to be a better way.
I had a very positive experience at NextCare Urgent Care on 16th St in Yuma, Az recently. It was easy to make a next-day appointment by phone, and if I had given my correct phone number, I would have been able to update my personal information online, ahead of the appointment. Anyway, I did that in the waiting room the day of, and was called to my appointment promptly.Check-in and the exam happened quickly, nurses and attendant friendly and professional, diagnosing the persistent cough, and discovering that my ears needed cleaning. They cleaned my ears and sent me on my way. The prescribed cough meds were waiting at Walgreens an hour later.
The clinic admin patient care were great the doctor was good my issue is with no lab was avaliable to view my culture. If it were an ER how would they ascertain this? They sent me to Hospital ER.
This place is horrible. I come here because it is partners with the VA but not worth it. Today, December 22, 2024 they decided they are just not going to open. They left a little note on the door that says to call and check if they will open after closing early the day before. My last visit the doctor who attended to me diagnosed me with COVID before any test were conducted. Eventually he gave me the test and I was not positive for COVID. He would not administer a flu test.
I’m so disappointed coming here. I wanted answers regarding pain I been having in my ribs and the doctor straight up guessed what she thought I had without any testing or anything. And said it was muscle spasms. I’m still feeling terrible. This doctor was very cold and it seemed like she just wanted to be somewhere else. I’m never coming here again. I’ve never felt so unheard and uncared for.
This place is a joke. My daughters appt was at 11:15 we didnt get seen till 12:23 the provider literally only talked to us for like 5 mins and than the reception person Julio was arguing with me about a school note. She had been seen virtually a day previous and they wanted me to take her in today so I did. She has the flu. The doc gave her 5 days off. So I told him the doc said 5 days off from school so he said shed go back Monday. She didnt receive meds yesterday I needed the school note to start from yesterday. So tell me why shes being cut a day shy of getting better when she didnt take any meds yesterday and than Julio wants to argue with me saying he cant do that and wont even let me speak to the provider to make sure. This is total garbage. You barely talk to your patients and you treat them like crap. Thanks alot guys. Im sick too. I can tell how much you guys care about people.
Came to this urgent care was in right when they were open. Told me I’ll be seen at 9. Joy a problem so i hung out and waited, two people who came in after me got pulled before me i was finally pulled to the back about 20 after 9. Once in the back the i didn’t see the dr until 10:05. I am not one to ever leave reviews but I’m sorry I’ve never waited nearly an hour once being taken to the back to see the doctor at an urgent care. Once i did see the dr it was probably one of the most underrated visits i have had. I have no idea how this facility has 4.5 star reviewing. I will never return here and would rather drive anywhere else. Didn’t even give me an idea of what i had just said you can get medicine in 1 hr.
The original visit was fine. Went in for a TB test. The nurse was quick and competent. But when I went back in the 48-72 hour window to have to test read, urgent care was closed for the day causing me to have to go somewhere else to have the test done all over again.
I came in with complaints for bronchitis, allergy induced asthma and my right ear was itching. Provider came in (did not state his name or title, only stating he was the provider) and did not have my chart, took notes on a 4×4 sticky pad. Listened to my lungs. Never looked down my throat, nostrils or ears. (Normal practice for respiratory issues). Asked me if I ever used Simbacort. I said, is that the inhaler? He said no. So I said I didnt think so then. (Turns out Sinbacort IS an inhaler and I have used it).He told me what drugs he would prescribe, but never told me my diagnosis.I went to this location because the had higher reviews than other options. I would suggest going elsewhere.
Took care of my wife and was easy to make same day appointments. She got X-rays and also had some medication.
Very professionaland very polite and happy nurses very patiently and professional when you shake in the doctor very polite with a jolly attitude they make you comfortable like when you were back home at Grandmas and you had a runny nose 🤧
My first time at NextCare .. went in to get my sciatic pain figured out.. Dr. Tina Grinstein, Alan, and the lovely receptionists (I didn’t get their names!) went above and beyond to hear me out and get me in quickly. Such a great first experience and will definitely recommend them to my friends and family!
The provider and all staff were very nice and helpful. They really made me feel taken care of.
Visited NextCare with severe asthma related breathing difficulty and both receptionist saw it as an emergency and I was given immediate attention by the Health Care personnel. My visit resulted in near immediate relief and for this reason I will gladly sit in the waiting room when I have a non-emergency visit. Thank you NextCare.
The providers at this clinic were able to diagnose me correctly and help me with the solution. They were excellent and very knowledgeable. Thank you for your attention and help!
Dr Sara refused to assist my wife. She was begging for help and she just blew her off. Its two days later and we are in an emergency room because she wont do her job. Had no problem charging insurance and co-pay though. Find people that want to help you. It isnt here!!
Went in for suspected staph infection on the face - a severe spot that can often be fatal if staph is present. The VA suggested I go to Urgent care or an ER so we decided UC would be quicker and easier in the long run. We arrived yesterday to NextCare Yuma at about 3:30 and were turned away, told to come back an hour and a half later. We came back at 5 as asked and they did pull me back quick. Just to wait for another hour and a half. Each time, the nurses and practitioners thought I was being seen for acne, eczema, everything under the sun except for my legitimate fear. When the “doctor” came in, he looked at my nose and said he’d prescribe antibiotics for it. No notes on what kind, no tests or swabs to see if I was even infected, nothing. After we left, my partner told me he’d seen a page saying there were no doctors present at the front desk, only practitioners and nurses. They sent me out the door at 6:30 PM and told me to pick up my meds from a CVS that wasn’t open or even in my insurance network. I requested they swapped to one in network and the woman at the front desk literally huffed and rolled her eyes before doing it. I had to wait to the next day regardless for any legitimate treatment.Come to find out, CVS can’t give me my prescription because NextCare hasn’t verified it or released it or something. So I’m currently trapped in a pharmacy that wants nothing to do with me, NextCare is refusing to verify anything and asking them to go through the VA. And I still could have staph infection or not! Nobody knows and nobody cares at NextCare Yuma!EDIT: After getting the meds, I realized that the man who saw me prescribed me medication for child’s sores. Impetigo, not staph. Called NextCare to confirm the man’s title and they did finally admit he was not a doctor over the phone.I’ve filed a formal complaint with the VA requesting they be taken off network since I seem to be the fourth person this has happened to in a week, just based on public reviews. I active hope this clinic will close down soon. Screw you and your “care.”TLDR, Mitherand Nya Seuwa is NOT a doctor but they are allowing him to practice as if he is one AND WILL LIE FOR IT.
The person checking me was very courteous. I did all my pre-checked in paperwork in advance so when I got there I was checked in and call back at my appointment time
7:15 pm no one in the lobby only one car outside my son cant be seen since they are booked i asked the front office theres no one so its not a walk in anymore. Front office lady no everything is by appointment now and we have full patients in the back thanks god PrimeCare was still open no waiting at all
Staff very helpful and able to complete my follow up appointment. Direct billing was completed by the staff.
The young man at the front desk was very polite and helpful! The two young ladies women assistance were very nice and polite! The doctor came into the room with a compassionate patient. altitude! She took the time and listened me!!!She had me take a specimen and then diagnosed my condition, and set me on a plan to a healthy recovery! The facility was very clean!Thank you,NetCare for making my visit a speedy one and a comfortable one!!!
Everyone was friendly, but it was to cold inside, and having to wait in the cold room was unacceptable, my Dr ordered a shot and it took 20 min to come in and give a 2 second shot, but I would return
Very efficient, saw doctor and out the door in one hour. Appt required. Worked out fine.
Short wait time. The provider didn’t even look at the abscess on my buttock. They gave me a shot of antibiotic and a prescription and referral. But no name or numberI have no insurance, so it’s a big deal
Smooth and seamless. Had me checked out and on my way in less than an hour. Friendly, helpful staff were patient with someone new to the US health system.
I really liked the Doctor. He listened to me. He checked my lungs, chest, ears and throat.
Well overall it was ok, they did take forever even with a appointment assigned I also understand that they might be busy with other patients but maybe get more people to help (Doctor) but once Dr came to see my son it when by fast.
Great MA roomed, provider could do nothing for me not even a referral, wasted my time!
I was amongst the first there in the morning as a walk in and I got checked in and processed pretty quick. The Dr was thorough and quick.
Medical Dr. Was excellent.Thorough and to the point. Diagnostic skills and laid out treatment plan that was easy to follow.
The nurses and the people who run the X-ray machine are amazing the doctor came in was a total lunatic didnt even realize what he was saying I wish I had his name but he didnt even give that to me walked in never came back and left me there two and a half hours and then the nurse had to come back in and tell me to go home never let me know anything never let me know what he was prescribing me never even came back in the room asked where he was and they didnt want to tell me
Extremely rushed physical. The provider did not introduce himself and rushed through the exam. My son, who is 15, was told to drop his pants and was not explained to that the provider was going to touch him. The provider was in and out of the room in 2 minutes tops. This location also is turning patients away without an appointment. The waiting room was empty and patients were told they couldn’t be seen. Please do better.
I was seen relatively quickly. I made my appt online and filled out the paperwork prior to coming in. The doctor sent my meds to my pharmacy and it was that simple. The meds didn’t go through but when I called and asked them to resend they resent them quickly and I was able to pick up my meds in the next hour. Overall a good visit and I’d recommend this urgent care. I highly recommend making your appt online if at all possible though.
My walk in went by pretty quick had to get my foot wrapped and crutches but other than that the staff did their job and were respectful and polite. Especially when it’s as simple as asking to open the door for me when they have to walk around their desk for me to exit
Most definitely will recommend this place the Dr, was super great she show lots of patience and was very attentive to my needs and my well being she explained everything very well. Great place to go for an urgency👍🏻But the wait was a little bit more longer than expected its usually not that long 😁but overall good.
Fastest urgent care in town. No BS waiting, just straight to business. Docs have decent empathy & have good bed side manners. I like that one can schedule in advance an appointment. Place is always clean.UPDATE: 11/28/2021 My five star review still stands the same. Ive been back about five times and every time is a positive one.
Worst experience. Did the online check in. Front desk did not call I was waiting in my vehicle for over an hr n half. Contacted the front desk kept telling me I was next after they kept letting other people go ahead of me even after I had already been waiting for going on 2 hrs. Finally got a room 2 hrs 45 mins later. Front desk people are inconsiderate about peoples time. Restrooms are not maintained. And lobby doesnt have enough chairs. Wont be returning.
My daughter cut her leg and needed stitches. The NP was quick and short, not very personable. Said yep need stitches and left the room. We were moved to another room where they were to place the stitches. NP handed me a paper to sign for consent and did not explain what needed to be done or what was going to happen. He cleaned the wound and with the same exam goves he had on for cleaning the laceration began to handle the sterile suture he was going to place. I asked if the needle should be sterile and he said it was. I asked him if it was still sterile even after handling it with his non sterile exam gloves he had cleaned the wound with. He stopped what he was doing, went out got another staff member to witnees, got sterile gloves and a new suture. He then put in the sutures with the new clean gloves and sutures. Very impersonal. The only reason we came to this urgent care is because were from out of town.
Horrible Doctor ( Older lady) Went in for a hemorrhoid problem, waited 1 hour in the doctors office just for the doctor to come in and say you’re good to go, no check up , nothing , was prescribed medicine but they never sent it through to the pharmacy now my problem has gotten worse . Expect a lawsuit.
I went there at 430pm for my 5pm appt. The lady took my insurance card, said i was all set and told me they would call me back near 5. It was 4:56pm when another admin rep called me up front and asked for my insurance card again and told me she needed it to check in my information. I then waited another 20 min to be called back. Once i got in the back i waited another 35 min all for them to take a flu test and covid which i knew was negative since it was a resp infection issue and no flu like symptoms. They told me test were negative and they prescribed me meds. The doctor did not even get in the room to tell us this and walked away. I have went to this location several time and by far the worst service.Another issue, a sister of another patient asked if her niece and sis were in back and they took her right back. Based in HIPAA i believe this is a concern. Admin rep did not even check to confirm.
The receptionist was awesome she was understanding, didn’t get her name but she had glasses and the doctor was awesome
Friendly, welcoming and professional upon my first encounter at the desk. Nurse that took me in for vitals were very nice, patient and professional. Dr. Tina surely has compassion towards her patients - I was very comfortable during my examination- shown so much concern of my injury and gave me the most appropriate treatment recommendations for my injury. Thank you Dr. Tina and staff.
Great people, very friendly, half the time than the ER would have been.
Love that you can schedule and the wait time was great. I dont feel the doctor listened to the issues at all. Probably spent less than 5 minutes with him all together. My son has had migraines for a couple years and has had one for 8 days and the doctor didnt ask about history ect just wrote a prescription for sinus. He also has had a abdominal pain he recommended he not eat any tortillas or rice for a while. But we arent Hispanic so thats not even part of our daily diet. I guess no bread and pasta might be equivalent.
Just went in today for an infected wound. and they were super nice and helpful waiting is always part of the process but they made it completely worth it. sweet and caring staff 🙌
This place is awesome and efficient, I was seen by Tina Grinsteiner and she is great! Thank you for helping me through this rough time.
Saw me relatively quickly, very conveniently open on Sunday to help me with a stubborn abscess🤢definitely recommend
The two male receptionist dont care about the patients. I noticed it since I first made contact with them. They aren’t welcoming, don’t show any pride in their work. They seem to do their bare minimum just to get by I guess. They’re unprofessional, cursing in Spanish while I’m with my 11 year old daughter. The CNA nurse assistant was very friendly and professional. The PA was also very professional and explained everything very well. The issue: A medication in the prescription was not covered by my insurance because it was liquid not pills. I called NextCare to get it fixed, but the receptionist told me they couldn’t talk to the doctor directly. They told me they had to email/message the doctor (PA) and that it would take about 45min for the PA to see the message. An additional 40 mins to get a new prescription. It was Sunday and the pharmacy closed in 10 minutes. I explained to the receptionist my situation and respectfully asked them to please talk to the PA to get it fixed before they closed the pharmacy. The PA had to simple call the pharmacy and tell them they could give me the pills and resend the prescription.By daughter had to go an additional day with stomach pain and go untreated because of the lack of care of the receptionist or because ridiculous policies of the clinic. I won’t be going back.
First time using NextCare but where I live doesnt have many doctors and urgent care is usually the only place available in between the 2 times annually that you get to meet with your PCP. I was a walk-in, mid morning. Although I wasnt guaranteed a time, my pain was enough to make me wait. Ultimately I was seen about an hour later, the estimated time I was given by the front desk. The health professional who saw me - it was unclear if he was a doctor or NP or PA - was thorough but quick. Soon I was treated and received a prescription. I am still attempting to access the appt summary on the app, but hopefully I will be able to soon. I need the info to share with my PCP. Overall I would recommend NextCare if you cant get to your PCP for an urgent matter. The other clinic on my insurance was nowhere near the same level of professionalism. But they did print out an appt summary.
It was the best visit ever the Dr who did my son physical was a hoot. The price was cheap $25 for a sports physical!this place is Amazing and friendly! I will go back !
Very nice people in the front office. Service was fairly quick. But the female nurse that saw me was incredibly rude and blunt. The fact that the second thing she said was that she couldnt do anything for me was the kicker. She directed me to the hospital. The hospital determined I was constipated. The nurse I saw here was flummoxed by constipation and was horribly rude to boot. I will never go back here again.
Easy and quick to be seen on follow-up visits. once you have competed the registration process.
The fact they tried to say to come back 3 hours later to be seen…. Is insane. This place is called URGENT CARE…. Right? Ridiculous. Never coming back here again.
Very helpful and professional. Its hard to find care at that level. No bad attitudes or discouragement, and I appreciate that very much!
I have never been treated better in any Urgent Care, hospital or Dr. office. Tina Grinsteiner was absolutely perfect, kind, knowledgeable, gentle, helpful and patient with me while re draining an abscess that Daniel Ortiz drained 12 days prior. That was not a good experience. Tina did all she could to help me. And I actually finally feel no pain today.
Staff was kind, courteous & knowledgeable. Facility was neat and clean. Did not wait long as I called before arriving and acquired a time slot for a walk-in patient. I have recommended to my RV friends and will definitely seek care here if needed in the future.
I was denied care for my 4 year old daughter, they were overbooked according to the front desk ( I came in at 4:48 p.m and they close at 8:00 p.m.), empty parking lot and lobby worst experience ever.
I chose this facility due to the positive reviews but unfortunately did not experience anything remotely positive. My experience fell far short of the standard of care I expected and deserved.Firstly, the PA I encountered lacked basic bedside manner and seemed disinterested in listening to my concerns. They repeatedly spoke over me, dismissing my explanation of my recent health situation that would give insight to my current symptoms. She also condescended to me suggesting that the place was “an urgent care and not a primary care provider”. Obviously. They couldn’t even do what was required because the supplies they had in stock were expired. Complete waste of my time and my co-pay. Substandard care— not okay!
Provider was incompetent and said she couldn’t treat me, because I didn’t want to pay for yet another strep test my insurance wouldn’t cover. Strep is literally the only thing we knew it couldn’t be.(I came in three months ago for the same thing and already got a strep test and put on antibiotics to no avail.) I wouldn’t even have wrote this review except she was so blatantly demeaning and rude to me. The only plus was that I remained kind and the entire rest of the staff apologized profusely and obviously had absolutely zero respect for that provider. They wanted me to reschedule and come back to a different provider who they claimed was more of a “real” doctor, but I ended up canceling after I left. After being ridiculed for 15 minutes after waiting in the exam room for 45, I couldn’t imagine coming back. The “doctor” didn’t listen to anything I said and I left 10x more distressed than I entered. So glad the nurses and rest of the staff were kind. Honestly kind of a nightmare situation.
Stopped in the afternoon and they had an opening for 6pm... then a little after 5 I was called to see if I could come earlier. Why YES and so perfect. I was in and out before 6pm.I knew my ailment was a easy identification and what medications would be prescribes. In fact, just in less than 40 minutes my pharmacy notified me the Rxs were ready!Very happy with all the efficiency! That has been my experience with every visit Ive made to this particular NextCare, Yuma, AZ. Thank you!!
I have third degree Burns on my stomach from tanning in the pool 6 days ago. So I came in to next care and I seen Dr. Ortiz. Not only is he the most efficient doctor out there. He listens to your needs and takes care of you, so instead of going to the e. R and waiting for hours. This is the best place to go to and youre in and out within minutes. Thank you again.
They saw me not long after my appointment. Didnt have to wait too long for the nurse practicener. She listened to what I had to say. Got a couple shots for my headaches. Feeling better.
What started out as a scary accident with some broken glass in my kitchen turned into a few stitches and excellent care at NextCare. Thanks to Dr Grinsteiner & the med & front desk team for making my visit relatively easy!
Dragging feet, set for over two hours with my back hurting not getting me. Taking care of these temporary fix with shots is not what I need.
I walked into your location at 1394 W 16th St, Yuma, AZ on 5/14/2024, at 6:30ish PM, very disappointed with your receptionist and your policy. You advertise that walk-ins are welcomed no appointment needed (Your huge sign outside says this) however, the receptionist refused to accept my son because all of the walk-ins were booked up? How are walk-ins welcomed with no appointment needed be all booked up, mind you the lobby was completely empty, no one was waiting to be seen. Do better for your community!
Went to #nextcare yesterday and the doctor their tried to give me a half ass assessment. She immediately tried to say I needed ophthalmology, knowing she hadnt even looked at my eye.So I said, OK well thank you for your time, but let me not waste your time nor mine, I can go elsewhere. After that is when she said oh no well let me take a look at it, glanced for a second, I kid you not, and said oh no, you need ophthalmology. I got up and walked out no words. Called my insurance co, and they are filing my complaint. They said I could go get a second opinion else where. I will never go to NextCare again. Had that lady (she did not show doctor professionalism), thoroughly looked at my eye, maybe she wouldve seen that I had an abrasion on my iris 😧😳.
Great service better than the hospital and cheaper with any insurance
On Monday 5 January 2024, I called NextCare because my grandson was directed to get a school physical for his school sports. I was placed on hold for 12 minutes, finally someone came to the phone. I was told that school Physicals were by appointments only, so I scheduled an appointment for 2 p.m. that day. To my surprise when I got there for the appointment the waiting room was full of walk- ins for school Physicals. My 2 p.m. appointment came and all the walk-ins were accepted before us. This is piss poor service shame on you NextCare. If you have a policy it should be honored. Your staff at this location (Yuma, Az) is pitiful and unprofessional. This place needs to by audited for service quality, competency and professionalism. We the people pay with cash and good insurance for your services. So, we should and must get reciprocal services. Cooperate Office, Please take for action. Make America 🇺🇸 Great Again.
I appreciate Next Care urgent care because I got there and I sign in and as soon as I was waiting with my broken finger, they called me right away and they treat me with respect and care. I Thank very much all staff and a special thanks to Doctor Ortiz he did awesome job. God bless you all. S.P
Very patient & kind staff explained everything thoroughly and took care of all my needs
Looked us up and down then proceeded to say they couldn’t help us and they were busy and literally had no one in the waiting room maybe they only see their kind you really have to laugh at people like that
As a walk-in for a pre-employment physical and labs, I felt the wait was reasonable. I noticed that they give time frames to most individuals that walk in. The staff was friendly. They, like most facilities seemed short-staffed for the amount of clients coming in, but they did their best.
I would choose this place they where very fast and really knew what they where talking about . The Dr was very nice and aid where very friendly Thank You I will definitely Choose NextCare Urgent Care Northside for my medical needs until I find a primary doctor Thank You Lisa Benavides
Nextcare was very professional and concerned. The PA was through.I wish they had a doctor on staff.
Checking in was fast and easy. waiting times were short. Medical staff were nice and friendly. overall a great visit. Thanks!
I am from out of town and needed an urgent care. I finally found this one that took my insurance. They were all so welcoming and friendly. Plus they helped me very quickly! If I ever need an urgent care when we are in the Yuma area, I will definitely come here!!Thank you!!
We are Snowbirds from Montana and NextCare is a VA facility. This was our first visit and after they received authorization from our provider, they immediately scheduled our visit. They were very accommodating and professional concerning our Drs request. We would recommend this Urgent Care facility not only for year round residents but for Snow Birds alike.
I am very satisfied with the service received at NextCare Urgent Care. I took my grandson for a sports physical and got it done within a hour. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly and so was the doctor. Happy with their services.
I had called in asking about a COVID test and the cost of one. I was told by the receptionist it would be $65. I was able to be seen a few hours later and was told a second time, my amount owed was $65. And thats exactly what I paid before leaving the clinic.Catch my surprise when I get a bill in the mail from them saying I owed just about $400. Im pissed beyond belief. I went to this clinic because it was the most affordable for the COVID test only to get slapped with this?Unbelievable.I would have never gone had I known it would cost this much.
The young lady who helped me schedule my MRI was very patient and helpful. She laid attention to all the details on the order and recognized that it was labeled Stat so got me in very quickly.
I got there on time. Called back to room quickly. However waited for 45 minutes for practitioner. It was very hard to understand him. He had a very heavy accent. The prescriptions didnt work for me. I ended up doing video call with my medicare insurance.
They were really amazing and really fast and took good care of my daughter
I needed to come to urgent care for my daughter who started to have an ear infection while we are camping. The staff was absolutely amazing at the front desk and the nurses followed by the doctor as well!! Thank you so much!!! We appreciate you!!
Dr was very professional and explained all we needed to know.
Great service in a quiet atmosphere! Highly unusual for an immediate care setting! Next time I am sick I’ll make an appointment here! So calm and serene. Staff is awesome! Doctor related well and worked hard to get us cared for and home!
They gave us an appointment time within one hour of the time we got there, so we were able to leave and come back. The appointment itself was quick, the staff were friendly, questions and concerns were addressed.
I think the doctors diagnostic, in Next Care, problem immediately recognized way quicker that my original designated doctor.
Positive experience, staff was pretty great . NP that treated my son, she was amazing! If we need an urgent care again, Next Care will be my first choice
This feels like a money-grab. I went in for inner ear pain, and the male doctor1. Ignored why I was there and accused me of “refusing treatment” when I asked if an X-ray was necessary.2. I asked this because he X-rayed my LUNGS to check for Pneumonia3. After I tested Negative for Covid and Pneumonia (like I knew I would, because I tested neg three days ago, and told him this), He did not even look at my ears again !!!!!!4. Prescribed Ear Drops that, according to the ENT I had to go to IN SCOTTSDALE AT THE LAST MINUTE for a Real Opinion, not a Second one, were absolutely useless. Thanks to their amazing care, I am on a few different pills, that have already helped me feel better. It makes me wonder:5. If I, a normal person with no medical degree, had just taken him at his word, would I still be in debilitating pain and extreme discomfort? I am confident, that yes, I would. How many others have taken him at his word?6. The only reason I even left one star, is because the nurses are amazing and deserve 10 stars. Each. However, He was so unpleasant, rude, condescending, and apathetic that he ruined the whole experience and I will never be returning to this physician. Ever.
Nextcare took care of both my initial problem and the follow up . I love that they are an urgent care facility with drop in service but you can also make appointments which save so much time. The care is professional timely and given with care.
I fell on my elbow Friday night and woke up with a lot of pain. They were able to take me in on Saturday, get x-rays done and diagnose me with an elbow fracture. They put on a temporary splint, gave me a sling, prescribed me with pain medication and sent a referral to see an orthopedic surgeon ASAP. I was very well-taken care of. However, the wait time is LONG. I was at this clinic for about three and a half hours. I didn’t have any plans or errands to run that day luckily but I would definitely recommend calling ahead to setup an appointment instead of walking in.
The doctor was good and very thorough. It is an urgent care, so it was a long wait even with an appointment. We appreciate getting the help. My husband has double pneumonia, so its good that we went.
The registration process is a joke. It said I could not pre-register on their website so I drove over. I stood on line filled our a label which they put on a column on a legal pad. They then told me to come in at 2, two and a half ours later. I get there a little early and was told to fill out the input form when I got a text. I did that and it showed I was 13 in line. Half an hour later I was 11 in line and five minutes after that they called me in. Once I got in the service was exceptional.
I was a walk in and knew it could be a long wait but they got me into a reasonable time. Please was clean and professional attitude from front desk to the provider. Excellent job overall.
The staff was great! The only thing I did not like was that the doctor seemed as if he was in a hurry. I tried to explain things and did not give me any time to do so. Even after my X-Ray he told me what they find and left without asking me if I had any questions. That was not a great experience.
The attending physician refused to listen and tried to refuse me antibiotics along with falsely profiling me as a user of illicit substances based solely on my physique. I stated several times that I wanted nothing aside from amoxicillin for an infection from a root canal where the orthodontist didnt write me a script for antibiotics. She was rude and accusatory and I will not be visiting this location again.
So easy. So fast. So friendly. My first medical visit in over 10 years, and it was great. If I do need medical attention in the future, NextCare Yuma will be the place!
They are very professional and quick with theyre work not trying to push stuff you dont need and telling you all the stuff that wrong that you already know.
I went in to have a large splinter removed from my arm. They could not help me because their x-ray machine was not useable. I had to go to the hospital emergency room which ended up costing a fortune.
Took my son in on a Sunday for a possible ear infection. The lady behind the counter was super kind and informed us all visits were virtual but anything with the ears had to be seen in person. However, they did not have a provider on site and no one could be seen in person. I did read other reviews about this being an issue at this location. Everyone has received the same reply that their opinion is appreciated and they take it seriously. However, that generic, by the book response is a waste of time. Obviously they refuse to fix the issue. Don’t waste your time coming here if it is a weekend. If it is a weekday, try your child’s actual pediatrician first.
I was very happy to find this place as I was just visiting in Yuma. Got an an appointment the same day and the doctor took very good care of me. Put me on the road to recovery. If I ever had another problem, I would definitely go there.
Absolute worst urgent care I’ve been to. The only thing I can say was good was they got me in promptly. I went in because I started having trouble taking a deep breath, was having sharp pain in my right shoulder and ribs. And had a rash on my chest. They took my blood pressure, ordered an X-ray and asked about my medications. The doctor not once looked at the rash or listened to my lungs. The moment I listed my medications (they are for bipolar and ptsd) I knew he was going to try to dismiss my symptoms as being anxiety related. He came in and told me the X-ray was normal and told me to go home and take anxiety meds (he didn’t give me a prescription for any). Before I could ask him to look at the rash or listen to my lungs he left the room. When I asked the nurses what I was supposed to do they said I had already been checked out and I was to go home. The absolute lack of communication and care towards patients is horrendous and it should be illegal to charge anyone for.
I went in as a walk-in because they were all booked up online, they still got me in and I was seen within a timely manner. Dr. Ortiz was very nice and helped me. He doesn’t mess around, he gets done what needs to be done. I would recommend anyone to him.
Since my appointment was a walk-in I had to wait a little longer, but still, just over an hour wait was good enough for me. The option to set up an appointment is also available. The doctor was able to assess my medical issues quickly and prescribe the proper medication I needed. Good visit
They sent reminders of my appointment, but closed randomly without notifying me.
First off for scheduling, you can never get anything the same day. Its always the next day, which is very annoying and inconvenient. With an appointment you have to wait 20+ minutes to be taken into a room. The female FNP that seen my child automatically assumed I wanted antibiotics for my child. She made a comment stating I dont see any thing wrong so I do not feel its necessary to prescribe antibiotics. Never once did I mention anything about antibiotics to her. When asked if my child was up to date on immunizations I stated yes. She looked at me and asked what about the covid and flu vaccine and I stated no not those. Then the FNP says So not up to date with immunizations then? Not with covid or flu because I refuse to give my child those ones. When they go to school the school does not require them to have the covid and/or flu vaccinations, so WHY would she make the smart remark So not up to date with immunizations Im very unhappy with the care at that place!
The office is clean and the people at the front desk spoke in pleasant voices, quietly gathering the necessary information. I waited perhaps 5-10 minutes before being taken to a room . I was impressed by the kindness of everyone and the nurse and technician spoke quietly, which was soothing. They were compassionate , efficient and professional. I had a few stitches in my hand and left, having a prescription faxed to my pharmacy.I think this is an amazing group. If you need Urgent Care, this is the place I recommendThis center is in a corner near the hospital. I do not recommend any other urgent care center. I’ve tried them and had a really bad experience.
Staff was polite and professional. Doctor was very thorough. A little slow to get paper work for Ultra Sound but otherwise a good experience.
Courteous, thorough and compassionate care. The doctor said he was prescribing some medications, one of which was for the high level of pain I am enduring. However... when my wife went to the pharmacy to pick up the prescriptions (about 2 hours after I left NextCare Urgent Care) the pharmacy said there were no subscriptions. Im in pain... lose two stars.
Very care & professional staff. As drs visits go (no one likes them, Im sure), it was a great experience. I really loved the digital features as well. Checking in online, the wait-list, etc.
Coming from Phoenix, where we get the best and friendliest people, we were greeted unfriendleenessa, not to mention 3 hours later I go to CVS to pick up medication and Im told Physcian Assistant never sent it in.I would not recccomand this facility. Arrogan PA, did not take any time to allow me to ask any questions. So Disappointed. But Im in Yum, not phoenix.
This is the first time I have used NextCare Urgent care and was very pleased with all aspects provided and surprised they had X-ray. The attending was very professional as were the technicians/ nurses and last but not least the very pleasant receptionist.
Don’t go here. They majorly misdiagnosed my daughter, causing further issues. Wrong antibiotics.
I use this urgent care as a last resort. I’ve been here numerous times for different reasons for 6 different family members. Every time the Dr is always in a rush and bed side manners aren’t great. He asks questions about your symptoms and health but never lets you answer because he talks over you every time. The rest of the staff are not very friendly at all especially the front desk people. I’ve never had one full positive experience at this urgent care.
Very kind and helpful personnel. The staff took great care of me.
Staff were nice but my son came in with obvious strep. Got told the test was negative and the best they could think is the spots in his mouth/throat were from a vitamin deficiency. Had to wait three days to see his actual doctor and got a positive strep result in like two minutes. Wouldn’t have been bad if they didn’t halfway check my kid and then give me absolutely nothing to leave with besides “use Tylenol”.
Great customer service very friendly personnel I had a back and ribs pain and I was seen at the time I made the appointment online great staff
Made a walk in appt. for the next afternoonfor a leg injury. The staff was very prompt with getting me registered and processed for PA Ortiz. Everyone was very attentive and the process went smoothly. Thank you to all that made it a very pleasant, organized visit.
Made an appointment online same day. Super quick and easy visit
Extremely competent and highly respectful staff. I don’t know about anyone else but when I’m sick, I want assistance from medical professionals that care about my health and wellbeing ❤️🩹 to provide me. The physician at NextCare provided me with care and concern about my health condition and getting me well. Thank goodness the UC on 16th St closes at 3pm on Saturdays (as if no one gets sick on Sat) or I would have missed out on the best Urgent Care experience I’ve ever received in Yuma. I appreciated all of you @NextCare. Thank you 🙏🏽Tamela
Fast friendly doctor was amazingDr Daniel Ortiz (I believe was his name) really cares for his patients. My wife took our granddaughter for stitches and had to go back to remove them and I just can’t express how caring the Dr was with her (us). Down to making sure when they left our granddaughter wouldn’t have any issues.
Fast and easy! I was there for less than an hour and the doctors and staff were professional. I tried to schedule an appointment with my regular doctor and it wasn’t until next month that I would get seen. Going to the ER is really not an option and I’m glad Urgent care is here. I highly recommend.
Efficient, courteous, responsive urgent care. Its apparent that Dr. Ortiz and assistants are geared towards providing a high level of patient care and relate well. The clinic itself provides a calm, clean environment. Much appreciated.
Very nice staff. The physician who saw my daughter she answered all of my questions and gave me peace of mind when leaving.
The check in staff were very friendly and helpful. The provider was very caring and very attentive to our needs. She answered all our questions and gave us helpful advice.
My son is sick. Went there. The staff was very nice and professional. The wait was a little under and hour which was much better then I expected. The Dr who helped us was knowledgeable, nice and compassionate. Highly recommend. We have had to visit this place several times in the past few months. The staff and care they five are amazing.
This was my worst urgent care experience ever. The wait time was ridiculous. ESPECIALLY once I was in an actual room waiting to see the Dr. I kept feeling like they had forgotten about me. Twice someone opened the door and poked their head in, didn’t say a word to me, and then quickly closed the door again. It seemed to me like they only had one Dr working yesterday, and if that’s the case I do recognize him as a very hard worker. He was not nice though. After waiting all of that time to see him he spent less than 90 seconds in the room with me and was clearly focused on getting out of the room as quickly as possible. Then, the pharmacy I had asked them to send my rx to did not take my insurance, which I hadn’t previously been aware of because I’m from out of town and was just there for the night for work. When I called the customer service number (no direct line to the clinic) they said they would have a person from the clinic call me back to transfer my rx to another pharmacy and no one ever did… essentially making that 4 hours I spent there a COMPLETE waste of time. Frustrated.
I usually go to nextcare urgent care when I cannot get in to see my primary doctor. And in all honesty, I prefer nextcare urgent care to my own doctor. You guys have always been very courteous , professional, and just plain nice! I wish some of the doctors and nurse practionals were my primary doctor. I give you guys at nextcare urgent care ten stars!
Its wonderful to know that there are places like urgent care to go when you are hurting really bad and you cant get into your regular doctor. Theyre very efficient very polite kind and very quick service. If it were at all possible I would love to have this doctor at my urgent care as my primary provider! The staff and the doctor are wonderful to deal with!
Made a next day appointment online and was promptly seen as scheduled. All staff were friendly and professional. Received excellent care from the provider and support staff. Thanks for maintaining a friendly and professional clinic during these challenging times. Kudos to this NextCare team!
Can’t praise them enough! I had something develop overnight that needed care in the morning, so I drove over there and arrived shortly after they opened. I was done within 45 minutes and on my way to get my prescription. The doctor was wonderful. The staff was wonderful.
Extremely disappointing structure and care. Took my 80 year old mother on a Fri 8 p.m. after she was coughing for several weeks and not getting better (after previous doc visit). Arrived at around 8 p.m. with appointment. While in room, the staff was debating sending us to hospital since they didnt want to work late on a Friday. Doc was just passively hearing. After debate, they decided to do xrays and blood work. Doc came in told us he would call us with results Saturday. No call came in on Saturday. When I called Sunday, they do not offer access to the clinic instead its a call center where they advised me they would have a doc call me within 24 hours. Monday, I missed the call but tried calling back. Again, they put me on a 24 hour return call. Tuesday, no call back. I finally demanded they let me talk to the clinic directly. They transferred me to x ray tech where she advised my mother seemed to have pneumonia. My mother was coughing her lungs out 5 days after visit because they didnt follow up nor make it easy for us to get an update. After speaking with xray tech, they couldnt get me access to doctor. We had to show up as a walk-in just to get to doctor and prescriptions. WORST HEALTHCARE STRUCTURE & SERVICE! People can die due to their negligence! Have some pride in what you do especially if in the medical field!
In the past I have had issues with one of the practitioners here. In the last year I have nothing but good things to say about them. The medical staff on this team are amazing.***update for new visit***Still stand by my 5 ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Scheduled an appt. online. Got checked in with no problems. The provider was awesome, he addressed not only the concerns I went in with but additional concerns that I wasnt aware of. The nurses were courteous, very nice. The girls working the desk( not sure if they are nurses) were awesome as well.
Provider and staff were great. However, I went earlier in the day, was told wait time was 1-2hrs so I made an appt for 5:10, checked in at 4:50pm and was called back at 6pm. So the appt was useless! Also the provider that treated me did not introduce himself (but still was very kind). Once my visit was over, I was not given any discharge paperwork, nor the names of the medications that were prescribed and for what they were going to be used for. When I arrived to pharmacy I was surprised that there were 4 prescriptions called in and no pharmacist to let me know what prescription was for what. ☹️
It is not the doctors nurses or assistants laughing out loud and they do not pay attention after asking which pharmacy location. While waiting for the doctor heard another doctor calling the attention by another mistake, a patient being seen for joint instead for an ear infection. My prescriptions were sent to another ph location. It is desperate not being paid attention. These girls need to focus on what they are doing and go the extra mile.
Took my mom to this urgent care at 9am this morning because she has not been able to keep anything down . The outside of the building says Urgent Care as well as walk in ,but when we went inside we had to make an appointment for 12pm . What kind of urgent care is that ? I took her to Prime Care and they were able to see her fairly quickly . We will not be returning to this clinic for any reason .
Best experience EVER! The staff is so kind and welcoming! The doctor was great and SO SWEET to my 4 year old that needed stitches!! I felt at peace knowing my daughter was well taken care of.
Did not treat me left me in pain for my root canal today had my son drive me to receive a oral or and numbing agent and he must of forgot his oath to help people.. very disappointing
In the past waiting to be seen with an appointment has been a horror show. Today, I’ve had the absolute best experience. I made the appointment online the day before, checked in 10 mins early, was seen 10 mins after that, and was tended to within 10 mins after that. After an hr, I was already sent on my way with a prescription. This included an X-ray as well. Great visit, fantastic staff.
Very caring and informative for my young daughter’s stomach pain. Walk in took about 2 hours, but they were nice and we would go again.
More like, NEXT time well care!I set an appointment online for 4pm, wasnt brought back til 4:20, wasnt seen until 4:44. I was prescribed, among other things, two shots, which I didnt get until after 5pm.When the doctor finally saw me at 4:44, I had been getting steadily worse while waiting in the dinky little room. My nose was running, I was dizzy and congested to the point where my hearing was impacted and I was getting headaches from the pressure. But the doctor didnt ask me anything about any of that. Actually, he walked in and said So you want an injection? I was delirious and I said if thatll make me feel better... THEN he pressed on my face, asked if it hurt (yes), and he decided I have a sinus infection, prescribed me the shots and medicine, and left. I waited 40+ minutes to be seen for less than 5. He didnt even look AT my nose, let alone IN my nose, due to the mask! He would literally not be able to pick me out of a lineup immediately after leaving the room because he never saw more than my face with a mask on.They also have no way to leave feedback directly at the clinic, probably for a reason.A lady in the room next to me had been waiting for 2 hours, she had been there for 3. She sounded miserable and alone. My next stop is to make a phone call to the VA to complain about this location. If you need CARE, skip this clinic and go to the NEXT one.
Clean, very quick service, friendly staff and a good doctor. Only complaint was the exam room had a very medical smell to it.
Highly recommended! My daughter had been vomiting for a few hours so we decided to take her to NextCare. We arrived around 10am and by 10:15am we were in the room and she was being seen. Thank you to Ashley for being so patient and thorough with my baby.
This will be the second time I have been seen here and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We took my granddaughter in a week ago as well and they were very good with her, the nurse was very gentle and friendly. The wait was not as long as I thought I would be and they didn’t treat me like they were trying to hurry and rush me out, they actually listened to my concerns.
I waited 2 hours but there was many patients waiting, so I guess it was fast. The staff was really friendly and nice. The whole building looked clean. When the PA saw my girl, she seemed in a hurry but did ask questions about the problem and answered mine. My girl got better soon after the treatment the PA recommended. I prefer my girls primary dc but for after hours this clinic is perfect.
Staff is very friendly and kind. I was seen by nurse practitioner Tina.. I felt she was very compassionate and professional. Everything was very clean.
After a short wait I was taken to to an pre check office where I was treated with courteous and professional care. After a short time, a PA arrived and quickly diagnosed my medical problem. After treatment I was discharged and on my way. The whole experience was impressive.
I was a walk-in on a Saturday. Waited 1 1/2 hours. Everyone treated me well. Glad I got a shot and not just pills. Yuma pharmacies are either closed or close at 5pm on weekends.
In & out in 45minutes. Checked in, registered on my phone, called right back by the really nice nurse. Waited maybe 5 minutes for the doctor to come. He evaluated me, ordered an antibiotic shot & said he was sending an Rx to the Pharmacy. Less than 2 minutes later the nurse came in with the shot. She said I needed to wait 10 minutes to make sure I didnt have any adverse reactions. During the 10 minute wait, I got a text from the pharmacy that they were filling my prescription. Nurse came back right at 10 minutes & said I was done. Out of there in 45 minutes flat! Honestly, faster than going to see my regular doctor, with an appointment!
Great place for your care. Attentive staff and caring. Doctor gives you attention to detail and quality assessment. Overall, I am very satisfied.
The wait Can be so incredibly long. I was a solid hour in the waiting room and then another 30 minutes in the office waiting for the doc to come in and see me. Having x-ray lab on site is really helpful. I could’ve been here much longer or had to go to another location for an x-ray.Reception waiting room staff could be a little warmer. I imagine being inundated all day long, they’re here till 8 PM, has to get pretty tiring and the big smile, friendly greeting can get thrown by the wayside.
Took 2.5 hours from time I arrived until I left, which based on the overfull waiting room when I got there, I thought was pretty fast. Staff were friendly, professional, knowledgeable. They gave me the option to be called on my phone when a room was available so I didnt have to linger in the waiting room. Also received text with link to website showing me where I was in line to be seen. Cost less than seeing my family doctor.
I would have given you a higher rating if you hadnt forgotten me in the room for an hour. My appointment was at 11:00am. Had to to go find someone to tell th I been sitting in the room for an hour. But other than that they did great work on removing my stitches.
Do not expect timely service even with an appointment.I had called to make my appointment at 7am and was set to check-in for a chest xray at 10:30am. I filled everything out and checked in online which was fast and easy. When I got there, they said there were 5 people ahead of me and I had to wait a little over an hour to get into a room. It wasnt until about 12:30 when we finally saw the doctor, and then it wasnt until shortly after 1 that I was finally taken for the xray. About 20mins waiting for the results meant we were there for just over 3 hours WITH an appointment.I still havent received my printed results, as no one could tell me if they were ready when I called later in the day to pick them up.Expect to spend your whole day here if you choose them.Update: After calling for a couple days in a row, the answering service couldnt get a hold of the clinic by phone, so they left a task to print my results. I was told I would receive a call when they were ready to pick up. I did not receive a call and after waiting 3 days, I decided to try in person. Luckily, they were ready.Although, the staff was friendly and Im sure they were stressed that day, I was very disappointed. Even their answering service seemed to be met by barriers for themselves. I wouldnt make this clinic my first choice if I needed care in the future.
After learning yesterday that they weren’t taking walk ins I scheduled an appointment for 2:05 today. They were running about 30 min late. That isn’t a big problem because it is a doctor office. When I was finally called I had to wait another 5 minutes on the doctor. When the doctor came in I showed him my problem. He listened to my heart, explained my problem, sent a prescription and was done. Maybe a total of 5 minutes. The only reason I use this place is when my doctor is busy. Not bad but not the best experience. Is also happened to be the second Covid resurgence.Didn’t like having to wait while people lined out the door.
I was seen & treated quickly. The nurse practitioner & her assistant were gentle and kind; best bedside manor ever! They kept me apprised of each test they did before hand and shared the results immediately.
The staff was so attentive. I took my mother-in-law In so much pain. Dr . Rodrigues was so sweet and wonderful that she hasn’t stoped talking about him .will definitely recomend the place .
Was taken care of and made very comfortable when I was nervous to come in. Definitely loved and appreciated the care.
Office staff was nice & Dr Tina was very nice & great bedside manner.
Very good attention and very quickly they took care of me thank you very much
Literally the best doctors in town. The first time I went there, it was for an issue I had brought up with my PCP who kinda just shrugged it off. The doctor at NextCare took my issues seriously and sent me for testing, which ultimately lead to me finding out about my condition. They’ve been awesome every time I’ve gone back. Highly recommend!
It was a great experience the older lady there was super nice
The front desk staff and the nurse that assisted my son were all very helpful and nice..The nurse practitioner on the other hand came off very rude and acted like he had no care at all about my sons health. He wanted to know what I wanted him to do if my sons previous Dr didn’t do anything. This man should not be caring for people of this is how he is going to treat them. This visit was very disappointing and I hope no one else has to experience that. I was concerned for my sons health and he looked like he wanted us to get out of his face. Horrible bedside manner. He literally walked into the door with an attitude.
Booked online but still took over an hour wait.
Traveling in our RV I got my yearly cough/cold. I called NextCare and was able to make an appointment for that same day. Upon arrival the receptionists were very helpful when reviewing my insurance since I was from out of state. My wait to be seen was minimal and the examination was quick and efficient. Prescription was written and we were on our way within the hour.
This is a update to my 1 star rating a few days ago, will they finally answered and answered my questions and I went in to their location and the ladys at the counter was very nice and all staff I talked with was very helpful and pleasant.
I wasn’t feel great to beginning with when visiting my mom during Easter but each day I was feeling worse. I finally went to urgent care. The dr came in and within seconds said I had a sinus infection with bronchitis. He loaded me up with meds which I knew I needed. I love that I could make an appointment online; fill out my paperwork on online and I was in and out within 15-20 minutes. Start to finish
I spent one and a quarter in the waiting room just to see the nurse. And then one half hour to see the Dr. And he gave me about five minutes of his precious time. Not good.
The nurse was awesome helped me more then primecare, nextcare sent me home with medication and diagnosed me correctly. I suggest going to them before you decide to go to prime care.
The slowest place I ever had to endure. Wait outside, get back to your so called appt. & wait n the back rooms too, So theyre not on time for anyway, why have an appt. and wait again.. The appointment didnt take long as long as the wait but the PA/NA did do a good job cleaning out my hubbys ears w/out to much discomfort I hear makes U think they cud B the discriminate ones. Thanks for that! I still give a 3 1/2 stars :) really after all even if they didnt accommodate family. I was raised w/ hospitality, Religion and Good manners, Right! These day the customer seems to come last n some establishments, unfortunately 😕
Had a 9 oclock appointment, watched a half dozen or more folks come in, sit a bit, and then get called and referred else where. At 945 I was more than upset. Never even saw a doctor in the joint!!!! Poor service, wrong meds prescribed, never again!!!!.
I scheduled an appointment for my daughter to get a physical and its taken over 2 hours after the appointment time to even be seen. I also checked in early and filled out my paperwork ahead of time. I understand there may be a delay but this is ridiculous, I would not be upset if I had just walked in but I scheduled in advance, did all my paperwork and checked in ahead of time and still waiting to get helped. The girls that work here all I see is them giggling and talking to each other.
Friendly staff. The provider was thorough and caring. Would return in the future.
Loved the way I was greeted at reception desk. Nurse was patient and friendly. Doctor Atondo was exceptional. Gave 100% attention to my illness. I definitely will be back. 💯 will recommend to friends and family.
My husband and I are traveling , so I do not have a regular physician here. I was seen at the clinic for an injured finger. I made an advance appointment to be seen on Monday morning February 17th. They were quite busy, but I was seen close to my appointment time. They remained busy, but have an efficient system to get people seen. The staff, from initial check in to the doctor (PA) and assistants, were very nice and very professional. I hope I do not need to go to an Urgent Care here again, but if I do, I would not hesitate to return.
Yes the staff are very courteous ,very nice and they do hold their composer really good considering all the heads they attend. Thank you ☺️!I four starred this review simply because like most care facilities set you up for an appointment at a certain time and that does not apply properly when waiting for an hour and a half to two hours
This clinic is way better than going to the emergency room. Much faster than the ER and probably better care. They are open 7 days a week. You can even make appt online and wait at home til its your turn to be seen. By far the best urgent care in Yuma and i have been a resident 57 years.
Always quick and efficient! My only gripes would be that the caregiver never introduces themselves and they are rarely in the VA system so I have to pay out of pocket for medications that should be covered by the VA. Care itself us always great!
This place is fabulous. Very fast and efficient in all stages from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend them. I wish the VA clinic here in Yuma would learn from them.
The wait was a bit long but I was a walk in. Unfortunately by the time we finished all the pharmacies were closed so could not fill my daughters prescription. The staff was super kind and friendly and the doctor was lovely. Great staff.
There may have been a mixed because I didn’t request a visit today. I put cancel due to that reason. I have in the past used nextcare and I do recommend friends and family there. Thank you for doing an awesome job with your patients.
I Came to the urgent care with extreme Vertigo. (Think Capt Jack Sparrow with vomiting and without cocktails) I prefer this particular Urgent Care even if it is 15 min away because they allow you to check in and wait in the comfort of your Vehicle.. You do not have to sit in a waiting room full of sick patients. They are always busy, and I feel, worth the wait!!!They listen to you. I asked for IV fluids because even though I didnt look dehydrated yet I knew how much I had thrown up all day. I wasnt able to keep even a 1/2 cup of water down. I felt dehydrated. The IV helped me tremendously. I was able to keep crackers down last night after and moved to eggs this morning. I really appreciated PA Atondo for helping me so much. I will be walking straight in no time. Thank you!!
The practitioner that attended me was very knowledgeable and super sweet. I believe her name was Tammy
Easy check in process. Courteous staff. Quick access to care. All staff were wearing masks. In-house x-ray equipment. Facility also had the durable medical equipment at the clinic. Diagnosed the broken bone in my foot they supplied me a special support shoe. I was in and out within 3 hours. I would use them again.
Staff was nice. I scheduled an appointment online. Checked in online. Only one other person there. Waited maybe 5 minutes to be called back. The doctor was so/so. He seemed grumpy. But, he handled my problem....all that really matters.
I had to bring both my babies here. 2 1/2 and 4 month old. It was the only place in town that would see them, being it was a Sat. From the receptionist Nuvia. Being so nice to us and very helpful, to the nurses who were so kind to my babies, and Dr. Ortiz who was amazing! This office really knows what they Are doing. The wait time was amazing too! I’d go back to this office in a heartbeat!
My appointment for 1:15, I was called at almost 2:00?Once in the private room, I waited another 10 minutes for the doctor to come in?Once the doctor came we talked told me what he thought I had wrong with me made his diagnosis quickly then the nurse gave me a shot and I was on my way at 2:40 with a prescription ordered for me at a pharmacy!
The waiting room was clean and staff was friendly, the doctor was super nice and informative, I made an appointment and went back , and I was able to fill out all my paperwork on my phone threw the Solv app. while I waited for my appointment at home, only thing is I did have to wait in the waiting room for a while, but that is expected when going to Urgent Care / Doctor’s Office.
PA Young has treated my sciatic nerve pains very effectively 3 times this year. I consider her as a full time doctor. And I really appreciate the care she gives me for my pain.I saw David Atondo and he confirmed my belief that I have bronchitis again. He was very professional with me. I’m happy for his quick diagnosis and treatment of me. I was already having a “ long day “ and was not feeling well nor up to waiting around and I still had to go to the store for food etc. I’m grateful for the services I’ve had at your clinic. Thanks again and stay safe …. Man
I got great care from the PAC But my records were prepared with incorrect spelling and DOB, delaying the billing and I have yet to see a charge of the amoubt due on the NextCare app. This is a concern of mine, and the wait on hold too long to speak with a staff member.
I went here based on the good reviews but was very disappointed. It didn’t matter I made an appointment in advance I still waited an hour and when I kept checking in the receptionist told me if I was in a hurry I could go to ER. Basically their system was down and they didn’t care how it inconvenienced the clients. Very unsympathetic and unapologetic for the inconvenience. After waiting an hour, waited another half hour in waiting room after vitals. Nurse came in apologized for the long wait, gave me a covid test and only that. I explained I thought I had bronchitis relapse so basically self diagnosed myself and instead of testing to reassure just gave me meds for my own diagnosis and sent me off. Didn’t even explain how to use them. It was such a waste of my time. I wish I would have left before they called me back. I will NEVER go here nor recommend this place.
I have been coming here to get my school sports physical for the past few years, great, friendly staff & super clean. Although it is always busy, just make an appointment instead of walk in and youll be all good to go!! I walked in last Friday and there was a 4 hour wait so I decided to make an appointment the next morning and it was quick and easy! Love coming here. Plus the physical was only $25. Super affordable!!
There were lots of people there but they were very efficient and got me through quickly I was surprised I thought it would be hours but it was great. The treatment was thorough and seemed to cover all the bases. I was from out of town and they took my insurance and there were no hassles just the copay. I felt they did a great day
I am not someone who likes the idea of going to urgent cares when myself or my children are sick, but nextcare has been a godsend when it comes to the speed, quality, and compassion of care. My family has always felt heard and seen, and our concerns are always addressed so thoroughly. I will only go to NextCare in our times of need.
While remodeling my bathroom I 🚻got a pretty nasty sliver of wood that was soaked with fecal matter jammed into my finger. I got most of it out but nonetheless, the damage was done. A few days later I began to feel sick and after a week of that I went to the Urgent care called Next Care Urgent Care. The staff there were awesome and did a great job taking care of my issues. They were professional, and generally concerned about the condition that my finger was in. The Doctor was outstanding to say the least. X-rays were taken , I received a breathing treatment, given antibiotics and sent home with aftercare instructions. I would and will recommend anyone to be seen at Next Care Urgent Care. It was easy to go to the website and enter my information and make an appointment. I really liked being able to check in online for my appointment before heading to the location, which was very easy to find. The people were nice. The doctor was efficient. If I have any other issues while visiting Yuma, I will definitely use NextCare Urgent care for help.
Still waiting an hour and a half later. Waited 3 days for an appointment. I know they are busy, and there are no guaranteed appointments. its ridiculous. Three people have gone in before me since I was told I was next. I came here because of the good reviews. Must be a bad day.
Had an apt at 2, didnt get seen til 330, then they were supposed to send over meds to the pharmacy, I had to wait for a shot and 5 minutes after so 25ish minutes, now an hour later the pharmacy doesnt have it and when I called they dont show any prescriptions and she is leaving a message for the Dr. So now I will have to come all the way back once the pharmacy gets it. Worst experience ever!
Great service, excellent staff, caring and helpful. I always take my kids and myself when we get sick and so far I have no complains and the doctors are amazing. Didn’t have to wait long to get seen.
