Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent - Winchester Womens Health

I was very pleased with my first visit with Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent -Winchester.The Office Manager was very kind and helpful.The Nurse was very good and put my mind at ease. I have anxiety issues so to a neurological condition.I liked Dr. Eifrid and felt at ease from the momenthe entered the examination room and introducedhimself.He explained everything thoroughly about the examination as he proceeded. Found him to be thoughtful, gentle,honest, and kind.I am 79 yrs. old and had not been to an OBGYN forMany years. He came highly recommended by two of my granddaughters, and I certainly understand why. Thank you.

The first visit, my wifes vitals, nor the babys (7-8 weeks), were taken. They took insurance info, verified pregnancy, and next visit scheduled. Then, Dr. Michael Eifrid cancelled the appointment with my wife that was to take place today, 20Mar2024, with not even the courtesy of adequate notice. Literally 1 hr before. We have a decent commute to the Health Center from our home and I have an even further from my work to our home. Additionally, I had to request time from work and when I was unable to reschedule the following day due to work obligations, all we were offered was Sorry, and that they would call back with an update. They never returned our call. Wife is 12 weeks now and experiencing pain, so we were eager to get time with the doctor after waiting so long with hopes of having some questions answered. Now, due to Mr. Eifrid s poor time management and lack of consideration for his patients valuable time, we are stuck with the near impossible task of last minute scheduling as we believe a thorough visit is long overdue. Before coming here, I urge you to question the priorities of a doctor who puts a last minute business meeting over the needs of his patients.

The appointment was timely? All the staff I interacted with was friendly and I felt the nurse and doctor review were both thorough.

For having to go thru this womens exam...It wasnt hateful. Dr. Feldman was very nice and caring. The staff was great, also.
