Dr. Hentz has been my gynecologist for many years and has helped me navigate several medical challenges in that time. She is a caring, compassionate physician. Im very grateful for the care I receive at her practice.

Dr Hentz was great as my once-a-year doctor but was so incredible when I found out I had an ectopic pregnancy last year. She was so patient, kind, and understanding about all of my questions and concerns. She was so caring during that time and I will always be thankful for her during that difficult time. Janelle is fantastic too!

Where do I begin. I’ve been going to this office the past 5 years. I got my IUD inserted at this location and was told it would be a slight pinch. The doctors/nurses just brushed it off as overreacting when I was immediately sobbing during insertion. It was the worst pain I’ve experienced. During a diagnosis I asked for more information in which they handed me a pamphlet and told me “I’d be good after my vaccine”. I truly was confused and they seemed rushed to get me out of there, denying to answer my questions. Finally, I’ve recently gotten health insurance again and decided to make appointment. Today I arrived for my appointment where they not only told me I’d have to pay for a missed appointment fee from appointments missed over 2 years ago ($25 each) and that my insurance would not cover my entire visit. After reading previous reviews on here I think It’s apparent that this office is choosey with how they bill your insurance, guaranteeing they’ll get more money out of the patients. This doctors office sees you as nothing more than a check and I guarantee they’re not being 100% honest with charges. Frustrating to think of all the appointments I’ve previously paid out of pocket. Do not go here!!!!!

If you like to be abused, make an appointment. - Please be sure to watch what she is doing to you- and leave as soon as you realize this is abnormal treatment- Dr. Hentz was brutal in her breast and annual manual internal pelvic exam. It was more like an attack. This was NOT standard treatment, and I am still in terrible pain. She has caused me so many problems, and I was just fine when I went in. I mentioned to her receptionist and her nurse how rough she was. There is no reason for this abuse. I have to go to a specialist and several other doctors now for help from the damage she did. Her office is so dank and outdated, I should have taken a cue and left. She needs to retire. I would like her to receive the same treatment she gave me.

Dr. Suzanne Hentz is a compassionate, knowledgeable, and thoughtful gynecologist. I chose her specifically because she is not affiliated with a hospital or physician group, which means that she allows sufficient time to have her nurse and herself speak to you, ask about concerns, and confirm information. (In other words, she is not beholden to profit-driven MBAs who measure effectiveness by the number of patients seen.) She is gentle, unhurried, and thorough in her explanations of procedures and recommendations. Her staff reflects Dr. Hentzs values by being professional and friendly. She is worthy of a sixth star if they allowed them!

I have been going to Dr Hentz for years and I love her and her staff. Very personable and caring, courteous, respectful and cares about the patient. She was a very huge part of my breast cancer early diagnosis and I will be forever grateful. Thank you for being there for us. ♥

I love going to Dr. Hentz. I have been going to see her for about three years. She treats me like a person not a number. She never makes me feel rushed. I never have to wait long in the waiting room. She is very warm and professional. Her staff are wonderful as well.

I have been going to Dr. Hentz for many, many years. She is a wonderful doctor. I have two daughters that I took to her when they reached the age of needing to see a gynecologist. That is the greatest compliment I can pay her. The office is relaxed and comfortable and extremely clean. She is very professional and the staff is friendly. I would highly recommend her practice.

I have been going to this practice since 2009. After a very dissatisfying experience with another big OBGYN in the area and MANY recommendations from numerous co-workers, I decided to try Dr. Hentz. I have never regretted that decision.When you walk in the office you are greeted by a friendly and cheerful office staff who know you by name and make you feel comfortable as soon as you step in the door. The manage their appointments efficiently so Im never left sitting forever waiting to be seen. They are flexible with scheduling and always make sure I get reminders of my appointments. I have never been over charged or had billing issues since coming to the practice. The staff has a high level understanding of my insurance and what they dont know (being they are a Doctors office and not insurance agents) they have always been willing to reach out to my insurance company and research for me.Once you are called back, you are again greeted by yet another friendly smile but this time from the nurse staff who lead you back to immaculate and clean patient rooms. These ladies have a way of making you feel comfortable and making one of our least favorite appointments as women so much more bearable.Now on to Dr. Hentz. She, like her staff, is friendly, kind and gentle. She is very knowledgeable and always takes time to thoroughly answer any questions I may have. She knows me and knows my history so I completely trust her and her judgment. I feel comfortable talking to her and asking her about any of those unmentionable things that us ladies go through. I read in another review that someone was upset about unneeded labs. Dr. Hentz took my blood work at one of my previous visits. It was Dr. Hentz who found that my blood sugar was elevated. She referred me to an endocrinologist and had her staff schedule my appointment for me. These were lab results that were missed by my family doctor, so I thank her for that. For looking outside of her specialty and at the whole picture to ensure overall good patient health.I have recommended Dr. Hentz to many friends and will continue to do so. They have all been just as pleased as I have been the past 6 years. And one day I will send my daughter to her. It took me over a decade to find a good female doctor and I plan on saving my daughter that trouble!

Dr. Hentz & her staff are WONDERFUL!! I have been to many doctors & I have never felt as comfortable as I do at Dr. Hentzs office. She & her staff care about their patients & will go over and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a gynecologist to go visit Dr. Hentz.

I have been a patient at this office for several years because my insurance is accepted here & I liked the idea of a private practice. Over the last year, I have been disgusted & outraged by this practice. After my last visit in September 2013 I decided to not return because of the filth of the office. There were instrument wrappers left on the window sill from the exam before me and the Dr was wearing open toe sandals to reveal a toe ring. When the nurse entered I was still undressing- leaving me naked & exposed in an already vulnerable situation. To make matters worse, I received a bill after my visit for an additional fee stating that my insurance refused to cover the sterilization of gynecological tools. This was surprising since my copay has always been returned to me in the past and nothing has changed with my insurance or policy. I called the office on 3 occasions asking them to resubmit my claim as the insurance company requested and they refused. I would not refer anyone here.

Ive searched for a long time for a provider that takes their time and listens to my concerns and questions who is also knowledgeable. Dr. Hentz is exactly that. The office staff are all great, too. Im so happy I found Dr. Hentz!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE BEING OVERCHARGED! After Dr. Hentz left the room after my annual exam, a nurse asked if I wanted to get blood work while I was there. I told her I didn’t think it was necessary and that I was fine. She then informed me it would be covered by insurance. I said in that case, I might as well. Afterwards, I checked out at the reception desk and paid my co-pay. A few weeks later, I had an invoice from Dr. Hentz office stating I owe $207 for services not covered by my insurance. Sure enough, the blood work I didnt originally come in for was NOT covered by my insurance as I had been told by the nurse. Tried to work it out with the office and my insurance, but Dr. Hentz and her staff were very unwilling to help. I would NOT recommend this office to anyone.

5/5 stars for customer service. 0/5 stars for having to go on a wild goose chase around Wilmington looking for a pharmacy that can order them an IUD. What kind of gynecology office doesn’t have any, and why would they not know of any pharmacies that do???? I’m trying to get a new one before my rights are repealed under the Affordable Care Act and at this rate it’ll be too late. Ridiculous.

I miss this office and Dr. Hentz so much. Have a problem that resulted in many visits. Always was able to get an appointment. Had to change due to insurance. I am now with a large facility that treats you like cattle, very hard to get an appointment when you have a problem. Do not hesitate to join this practice, you will be very satisfied.

Waited well over an hour without explanation from staff and received a dismissive apology from the doctor. Doctor was pleasant but clearly does not respect other peoples time. I hope she used my co-pay to buy a watch.

Dr. Hentz is great. I love the homey feel of the office, and all the Staff. Despite my unavoidable anxiety with Doctors, Dr. Hentz and her staff make me feel as comfortable as possible. I definitely recommend!

I recommend to her by several friends after leaving a large practice. Dr. hentz and her staff are awesome!!!! could not be more pleased with my care there!!! I highly recommend them to meet your gynecology needs!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hence for quite a few years and am completely satisfied with her office, staff, and service. I would recommend her services to anyone looking for a new OB GYN. Her office is very convenient as well.

I went here for a biospy, and it was an awful experience. I couldnt believe retriving cells could be such a painful process. So much so that I went to a new obgyn, then told them the details of the procedure and was told that is an outdated way to complete a biospy. Also, the decor is so outdated - it doesnt feel clean or modern.

Very pleased with the care I am getting from Dr Hentz. I don’t feel rushed. I like a doctor who looks at your whole history to consider the best course of treatment.

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A MOMENT TO SAY I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF HAVING DR. HENTZ FOR 30 YEARS. SHE DELIVERED MY FIRST DAUGHTER WHO HAS ALSO BEEN GOING TO DR. HENTZ FOR 10 YEARS.IT TAKES A SPECIAL DOCTOR TO WORK IN HER FIELD. I AM A VERY SENSITIVE AND INSECURE PATIENT AND DR. HENTZ AND HER STAFF HAVE ALWAYS GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND TO TALK TO ME IN A WAY TO HELP ME CALM DOWN AND TAKE THE EXTRA TIME WITH ME TO MAKE SURE I UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING GOING ON---WITH MY HEALTH AND MY INSURANCE. I HAVE EVEN CHOSEN TO CONTINUE TO SEE DR. HENTZ OVER THE YEARS WHEN MY INSURANCE DID NOT COVER THE VISITS. I HAVE UNFORTUNATELY HAD TO GO TO OTHER GYN DOCTORS---I FELT LIKE I WAS JUST ANOTHER PATIENT. NOT WITH DR. HENTZ!!SHE ALWAYS GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND--I WOULD NEVER HAVE TAKEN MY DAUGHTER TO HER IF I DIDNT TRUST HER COMPLETELY.I WOULD LIKE TO ADDRESS THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS--SAVANNAH JAMIESON--ALWAYS TALK TO THE INSURANCE PERSONNEL, SHE CAN GIVE YOU THE FACTS ON WHAT WILL BE PAID FOR--THATS YOUR RESPONSIBILITYBRIDGET MURPHY--I DONT BELIEVE YOU!!
