Chester County OBGYN - West Chester

To start, I leave mostly great reviews so you really have to be awful to get a 1 star from me! 😮After 10+ years I am no longer a patient here.I’ve never had any problems until this year, but as of now I absolutely do not recommend this provider.I’ve been made to wait 6+ months to even get an appointment see someone for something that is time sensitive, and after that they said they had to reschedule AFTER 6 MONTHS of waiting in anticipation of my appointment day. On top of all that I’ve been subject to bias from secretary staff for my insurance type!!!I’m left very confused, and wholeheartedly let down by a provider I had come to trust. I don’t know what happened to this provider, but find somewhere else to get reputable care from. I would highly recommended Main Line OBGYN. They are much more professional, the receptionists are pleasant and NOT rude like here. Their doctors are also more knowledgeable as a lot of them are younger and more in touch with their training & education.

Dr. Kurey is an outstanding doctor. She is so caring, wonderful, and extremely knowledgeable with every aspect of the medical field. Her dedication and hard work is appreciated by everyone. Her medical assistant, Francine is also very outstanding, kind and extremely helpful. All staff are hard working and very kind. I love my doctor office. Please keep up the great job! Thanks again for everything!

I have been with this practice for many years. My visit today was with Beth Carney. This was my first time seeing Beth. She took an interest in getting to know me. She was bright, refreshing and straightforward. I felt completely at ease discussing everything with her.

Haley Davis was wonderful to meet and interact with. She made me feel comfortable and talked with me throughout the entire process. The building is quite nice too and my experience with check in and M.A were both friendly.

We cant thank Nurse Practitioner Beth Carney enough for the exceptional care she provided during both of my wifes pregnancies. Beths honesty and straightforward, no-nonsense attitude were exactly what we needed during some of our most challenging moments. She guided us through trials and tribulations with unwavering support. Her dedication and compassion made all the difference for us, and we truly believe she doesnt get the credit she deserves. We are deeply grateful for Beths honesty, guidance, and the exceptional care she gave us. Thank you, Beth, for being there for us in ways that words can hardly express.

All the Doctors & medical Staff at this practice are exceptional! They care about you, your healthcare needs and your time! I’ve been coming to this practice for the past 35 years and travel over an hour sometimes for my appointments. And it’s all worth it.Thanks for being there for me all these years Chester County OB/GYN of West Chester !

I have 5 stars solely based off the incredible employee, Alyssa. She talked to me with such empathy and care, after experiencing so many rude nurses and receptionists getting transferred to her was so incredibly helpful. People like her are so needed in the medical industry. Thank you Alyssa for listening, caring and helping.

Pleasant staff. Great doctors and NPs. Nothing to really complain about. Would definitely recommend. Once I actually went to their office instead of the one in Downingtown and they were very kind to let the other office know I went to the wrong office and would be there. Luckily Im always early for everything so I still got to my appointment on time but still love the customer service.

Incredible staff! I will commute here every year no matter the distance so I can see my OBGYN Bonnie. She’s attentive and makes you feel so comfortable no matter what the reason for the visit is. The front desk was sweet and overall, I always have a great experience during my appointments.

Ive had very good experiences with them in person, but calling them is a nightmare. its nearly impossible to get a hold of them, even during office hours, and they wont take voicemails outside of office hours.

I see Dr Delaney in this practice. She is very professional and compassionate. Office staff were helpful and it was easy to book an appointment.

I scheduled my yearly check-up with Dr. Delaney and she was absolutely wonderful. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, and made the experience a good one. The front staff as well as my nurse were excellent and I am really excited to have them as my doctors now. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Ferreira and his nurse Bernadette are the absolute BEST! I travel a long distance for my annual and will continue to do so because of their amazing patient care. They go above and beyond to make sure their patients feel comfortable and always make sure my questions are answered before leaving. I trust them 100% and highly recommend them to anybody searching for a new OB/GYN.

I love all the staff at Chester County OB-GYN, including both Downingtown and West Chester locations. I always feel welcomed and comfortable, and listened to when I have concerns. Highly recommend!!!

The OBGYN was great but unfortunately the nurse aide who brings you back to the room and goes over your chart seemed slightly homophobic. When talking about certain topics that are routine, she was visibly uncomfortable and judgmental at the answers that were provided, even questioning the answers. It was a fine experience but next time I hope she does not make others feel that way.

Everyone from the girl’s at the front desk to the doctor and nurses in the exam room were all very friendly. I waited a little on the doctor, but no longer than anywhere else I have been. Very comforting and reassuring throughout the exam

Experience was good I had to have ultrasound. Took me back at time of appointment, explained what she was doing and tried to make me feel comfortable all through the process. Overall a good experience!

Dr. Delaney was awesome! She did a complete hysterectomy on me and was very clear of the risks and benefits. Surgery went perfectly. Recovery was not as bad as you would think. I feel great! Her bedside manner was caring and attentive. She’s the best!!!!

I absolutely love Dr. Ferreira! Only Dr I like to see in this practice! If he leaves, I leave. Hahahha! He has fantastic bedside manner and listens to you.

Greeted promptly when I arrived. The staff was very friendly. Dr Slavish thoroughly explained things and gave me options. She listened to my questions and gave me sound information so I could make my own choices. Would recommend to this group.

I have been using Chester County OB/GYN my entire life. Doctors previously there delivered my now grown children. Comfortable and clean, great staff. I use Bonnie Graff, CRNP. I love her!

Todays obgyn appointment was my 1st visit in a long time & i am so happy i chose here the atmosphere was very pleasant, check-in quick, minimal wait until i was called into the back & my Dr was super nice 🩷🩷

Drs are really nice one star is for the receptionists all I spoke to yesterday were very rude to me they need Jesus in their lives or better people working there who are friendly and know how to treat people Im not the only one here who has a problem with the receptionists so something must seriously be done here

Been with this practice for over 25 years, but my Dr. Retired. I just experienced my new physician who was fabulous!! The whole team, NPS, nurses front office, better than ever!! Absolutely adore Dr. Ferreira. Old fashioned bed side manner and common sense, with the smarts and knowledge of the latest technologies and procedures.! The best!

Everyone at this practice are so nice, and I just love Dr. Slavish! I have been a patient here for many years.

Visited this office to see Dr. Laura Taber early last year (2023). Was experiencing symptoms that were consistent with a hormonal imbalance. During my appointment, I had asked if my symptoms are typical for someone experiencing a hormonal imbalance (such as PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome). She told me that it was not consistent and that the concern for hormonal imbalance is a fad that individuals are discussing online. Due to a familial history of fibroids, Dr. Taber ordered an ultrasound to confirm and provided me a prescription for Naproxen (Aleve) for pain. I attended the ultrasound appointment a couple weeks later with a radiologist at the same office location. She then confirmed my diagnosis for PCOS at that appointment and educated me on the condition. Radiologist was fabulous and super helpful. She said Dr. Taber would be in contact to discuss my diagnosis and options for management. Never heard from Dr. Taber and found a new OBGYN. Would NOT recommend seeing this physician if you are looking for someone to discuss your health concerns with.

Absolutely amazing doctors. Everyone really cares about getting their patients the best medical care possible. They are very understanding with patients who have anxiety and pelvic floor issues such as vaginismus and work with their patients to give them the best care possible while respecting their boundaries and comfort levels.

Everyone was so very nice to me. Youre in & out pretty fast. They take the time to answer any questions you have. Very nice group of employees

I have been coming to this practice for 29+ years! I needed to be seen on short notice and Katie worked me into her schedule and they were able to schedule my tests for the same day! She even followed up with me later that day!

I love this practice. Especially Dr. Kansky, who I started seeing 2 years ago after my my first OBGYN there retired. She’s patient, thorough, supportive and with a great level of empathy. I could not recommend her more.I also just saw Dr. Delaney and she was wonderful - very caring and great at communicating information about my care.

I really like Dr Slavish and the people at this practice. Dr Slavish really listens, is very thorough, and addresses every question I ask. My only complaint is the couple of times I have gone there I always wait almost an hour past my appointment time to see her. I get things happen and appointments get delayed, but they need to schedule longer appointment times to account for this because it’s disrespectful to patients to not value their time and make us wait that long. I will go back there and gave 5 stars because I really do like the doctor, but do not appreciate at all the incredibly long wait time.

Dr. Delaney is a PRO. I delivered my first kid with her almost 6 years ago and she was the best doctor I could wish for. Since then I moved away from Chadds Ford area, but I still can’t find a good doctor I can trust as much as I trust her. So when I needed to have a minor procedure done, I drove for 5 hours and she had me in and out in 30 min! I can’t say enough good things about her - she asked me how I’m doing 5 times during the procedure, she wanted me to feel as comfortable as possible in that setting, and she got the job done quickly. So disappointing that I couldn’t trust my doctor where I live now - but the other doctor wanted me under general anesthesia for the same thing. It didn’t seem right, so I went to Dr. Delaney for the second opinion and it turned out to be a less stressful experience under local anesthesia with less toll on my body. I also want to say that her whole staff is great! They are very kind and caring.

So many great doctors and nurses at this practice! While I absolutely love Dr Mansfield and his nurse Diane, I recently had to change providers at the end of my pregnancy due to the schedule for scheduled c-sections. I’m now seeing Dr Korzen and love her just as much! She is warm, friendly, and takes the time to listen! Today I had to call after hours and Dr Korzen called me back within 20 mins. Excellent care by all of doctors at this practice!

I’ve been going to this office for several years and I’ve never had a bad experience. The front desk staff and nurses have always been great. The office is modern and clean. I absolutely love my provider. I would recommend her to anyone.

Absolute worst experience and I never even went into the office. I called due to being referred after an ER and Primary visit, indicative that it is urgent and I was in a lot of pain. The whole office is rude, everyone I spoke to tried to say I was wrong. Diane Jones, the triage nurse I spoke to cut me off while speaking, told me my matter was not urgent before seeing my records (it was), and the head nurse defended her by saying she has worked here for many years. Absolutely terrible staff and I would not recommend to ANYONE.

I was so disappointed. I am a teacher so I already don’t have time for much outside the school days. I’ve been experiencing major menopause symptoms. My primary doctor prescribed some medications but said to follow up with my OBGYN. This doctor first tells me she is leaving the practice. Then after explaining everything to her, she says she needs to run her own blood work. I said you have access my bloodwork. She insisted she didn’t after the nurse on the phone was able to access everything. Then she said she won’t change anything unless she runs her own studies. I said, you’re leaving the practice!!! You don’t care!!! So I just left

I can’t say enough great things about Chester County OBGYN. I went to the West Chester location for my pregnancy and there were always a lot of options for appointment times and you rarely wait. All the doctors and NPs great. If you feel something might be wrong they bring you right in to get you checked out. Dr. Delaney delivered my baby and she was amazing through the induction and eventual c section process. Overall amazing experience, would recommend this office to anyone.

I had an appointment with Beth and this was my first time at the practice. She is refreshing and kind and genuinely wants to get to know me and my needs. Its clear that she cares. Then I had some issues with my insurance company, and Stacy, the office manager, could not have been more kind and helpful. I was extremely impressed!

I had my first appointment at Chester County OB/GYN with Doctor Manuel Ferreira and I am extremely happy with the office and Doctor. He made me feel very comfortable and was extremely kind/caring.

Bonnie Graff was the best! Was my first time at this office and saw Bonnie. She was extremely thorough and explained everything!! She was gentle and really just had good communication and understanding!!

I arrived for a new patient visit and was a little overwhelmed by the size of the office. That was unfounded as they move with great efficiency. The receptionist was very accommodating. I was able to be seen within 15 minutes of my appointment time. The nurse, Sara, and the physician, Dr Delaney, display great compassion and skill. I am glad to have found this practice.

Staff was very friendly and efficient! Very short wait. Dr. Ferreira and his RN were professional, thorough and put me at ease. (I have been with this practice for 45 years, through the retirement of two excellent gynecologists.) This was my first appointment with Dr. Ferreira. I am still in great hands!

Dr. Ferrera was wonderful. A kind, gentle soul. I actually dont require this level of attention as Im old enough and tough enough to be able to handle most anything, but it was certainly nice! I liked the woman who scheduled me...I spoke with her couple of times and cant remember her name. But she really was helpful in guiding me after my doctor retired. And Dr. Ferreras nurse/assistant, Bernadette was also lovely.

My visit with Dr. Kurey was very pleasant. She took her time with explaining my situation to me and had a listening ear to my concerns. She is thorough. I feel I am in good hands. Thank you for the great care Dr. Kurey!!

Hayley Davis is the BEST, Ive loved her for years now, I switched offices when I found out she wasnt at the one I met her at! This office is kind, caring and very friendly. Their US tech was incredibly helpful, gave me more information than I could have hoped for. Im not one who enjoys a Drs visit, but they almost make you feel like family- you never mind coming back!

The offices of the Axia women are clean and very well maintained. The administrative team that takes your information and signs you in are very friendly and the clinicians who take you vitals in the room are very nice and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Dr Delaney. She is so thorough and always listens to your concerns. She is very personable and treats you with kindness and respect.

A smiling greeting at the front desk began my morning appointment. I was escorted back by another happy assistant with little to no waiting time. I met with cheerful, efficient and thorough Dr. Kansky before my appointment time. Another of the front desk personnel signed me out and gave me my mammogram prescription. All of this occurred within the span of 35 minutes. The experience was all positive at the Gyn office today! Kudos to those who perform their job well and can also be human.

There was no wait for my appointment. The nurse was pleasant and professional.Dr. Christine Kansky was informative and thorough and listened to my concerns.A great first time experience with this practice.

Discharged with high blood pressure post partum and diagnosed with pre eclampsia AFTER being sent home twice, multiple phone calls and finally bringing myself back into the ER with 195/120 BP before I received medical care (mag treatment) I told multiple nurses and drs my concern and not one listened to me and brushed me off all because I didn’t have the typical proteinuria. These people do not listen to you. If you are a high risk pregnancy or potential high risk DO NOT go here! You are taking your literal life in your hands. I had Dr. Hamedi. Baby was sunny side up and stuck, back and forth in distress, fever, and Dr still had me push for 3 hours until I took it upon myself to demand a c section so I didn’t lose my baby or she come out harmed.This place turned my first time birth experience into an absolute nightmare and I would absolutely sue and take every legal action against them if I could.

What an amazing OB/GYN practice this is—far exceeding my expectations! From the initial phone call, through checkout & followup, my experience was exceptional. “Amy,” who scheduled my appointment, was unusually sweet, personable, and helpful. Dr. Mansfield helped me to feel comfortable from his first greeting at the door. While moving the appointment along efficiently, he still projected a warm, professional, knowledgable bedside manner, listened well, and provided helpful information. Every other member of the staff, whom I encountered, was cheerful and helpful. Deserving of special commendation was the young lady who weighed me and ushered me to a room— I WISH I’d thought to ask her name!!! I’ve never had an OB/GYN experience quite like this one…it ALMOST makes me want to go back more often!!!

Patients come first and made to feel less stressed once you reach the front desk to the New female doctor who was very thorough, clear and concise. The assistant was compassionate and supportive throughout my care. The check out process was smooth in scheduling up coming appts and also the young lady who made sure to get my return to work note. This office represents good efficient customer service. Everyone genuinely treats you great effortlessly. Keep doing what you already do be yourself!I give 5 stars ⭐️

Explained my situation when I called in to make the appt. They gave a convenient day & time, however my only request for a doctor wasnt met. I dont like being seen by several ppl let alone to be examined..its just weird. Arrived for the appt today, and lets just say I highly doubt Ill ever return. The particular doctor I wanted delivered my first 2, and while its been 18 yrs she was the literal only reason I went to this office. They wont even give me the opportunity to speak to Melissa Delany personally. Believe Ill be moving mountains to ensure she hears my voice about this! Definitely 2 thumbs way down!!

This place is awesome! All of the nurses and providers I have encountered have been wonderful. They ask questions about your health and are attentive to your concerns. Front desk personnel are also very friendly and very helpful when scheduling or resolving issues. They have some satellite offices to make it more convenient if you don’t live near West Chester.

Dr. Kansky is so thoughtful and thorough. Explains information clearly and listens well. I never feel rushed or overwhelmed. She is amazing!!

The office is clean the doctors and nurses are kind, knowledgeable and sweet. The receptionists, however, very abrupt, and barely look up and did not make you feel welcome. in Downingtown office, they They SO nice and caring and since this is a stressful visit, they make you feel safe. West Chester needs to step that up. We are all women trying to feel cared for and connected to our facility.** UPDATE**Upon my last visit in Feb 2024- the staff is so much nicer and made you feel important and taken care of. Amy and nurses and intake staff went above and beyond to assist me in need after my surger!!

I have been seeing Beth Carney for about 15 years now and have always had a positive, good experience. Beth is thorough, thoughtful and open. She takes the time to ask questions and actively listens so that she can provide the best recommendations to help guide you. Im upset because I just found out that I lost my baby, I was in my first trimester and in February 1 the baby heart beat was great and I went today and found out theres no heart beat and Im 7weeks. But Im not bleeding or anything

I absolutely love this place. I have gone through two successful healthy pregnancies with this OBGYN and am so happy with how everything went! Currently expecting number 3 😊❤️ The waiting room time sucks sometimes but aside from that they’re great! The nurses are so helpful as are the rest of the staff and the doctors can and will answer all questions (the key is though you have to ask/speak up when you do have concerns or anything of the sort). When I plan to have my next baby I definitely plan to go through them again!

Dr. Kurey is down to earth and funny. I have been through surgery with her and she managed to make the experience stress free due to her competence. Up until this year I have had a wonderful experience at Chester County OB/GYN. I had been a patient for 20 years, and went in to have a procedure done in February. They were unable to complete the procedure because of the shape of my uterus, something that my doctor had been aware of for many years. I was still sent a very large bill that they were not willing to negotiate on for services that were not performed. I tried to fight it through my insurance company and was still sent to collections, which went no where. I am no longer a patient after this experience that left me sad, frustrated and very angry at how Axia has taken over this doctors office.

Very pleased with the phone person who was able to get me an appointment the next day with Bonnie Graff, Nurse Practitioner.Front desk receptionist was very pleasant.I also had a very short wait in the waiting rm before Tracie took me back to the examining room.Bonnie Graff, N.P. was very attentive & calming to my issue.All in all it was a very positive visit.

Love Dr.Slavish, she’s personable and listens attentively but something is amiss in her office. This week is the second time I’ve waited 45 minutes to an hour before she comes in to examine me. I have a busy life too. I think patients should be shown that their time is valuable and scedules should be made accordingly.

I’ve never written a negative review. I recently was able to get a sooner annual appointment via another patient’s cancellation. I wrote down the time of the new appointment both on paper and immediately in my phone’s calendar as I was still on the phone with the woman from from ccobgyn. I reiterated before I got off the phone that the time of appt. was 11:40 and she repeated that time back to me. I showed up today on time and was told very rudely that they would not see me because my appointment was for 11:20?! The way they handled it lacked tact, kindness, professionalism, and generally any level of care. I’ve had frustrations over the level of rudeness shown by the front desk for years and this was it for me. I’ve delivered two babies with my ob from this practice and waited looooonnnngggg wait times for tons of appointments which is kind of ironic given that they wouldn’t see me when they believed I was “late”. I will be switching. Their behavior isn’t acceptable.

My experience as a patient has been great for over ten years. I typically visit the Downingtown office but have been to other locations with the same high-quality service.

I’m a 72 year old lady, who was in need of what turned out to be a five hour surgery to address female issues. I was fortunate to be cared for by Dr. Hamedi. She diagnosed the problem and answered all my questions, both before and during post-op visits. She was kind, caring and respectful. Best of all, her knowledge and skill as a surgeon, resulted in my issues being resolved, and I am now well on the road to recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Hamedi.

Love Dr. Delaney! The nurse Julie was great too! They both took the time to explain what was going to happen and as things were happening during the procedure! I highly recommend Dr. Delaney for all OB/GYN needs (Dr. Delaney also delivered both of my children)

Dr. Kansky is great! I had two appointments with her. Once in downingtown once here. She is absolutely sympathetic with you and care about your health.However, I would recommend the Downingtown location if you mind rude& inpatient front desk. I always trying to keep my questions simple while still expect answers and tunes without patience and care. They are just too rude to work in a hospital. Especially with pregnant patients. Anyways, Ill give one star if its just to the front desk.

Dr Ferreira and his staff are really great. Very friendly and professional all at the same time. Also have seen Beth Carney for years and she is a wonderful health care provider. Easy to talk to and really cares about her patients. I have moved a little farther away from the area but still use the practice because they have always done such a wonderful job.

INFERTILITY go somewhere else! Such a bad experience here and I wasnt going to write a review but now theyve charged me for a visit that never happened and they have not refunded the money yet and theyve been working on this for over half a year. I came to them for infertility. I had labs done and no one ever went over the labs with me. I had a visit scheduled for a procedure and I showed up to the visit, got into the gown, and then the nurse told me someone should have rescheduled the doctor was busy that day. No one ever called to follow up and they ended up charging me for the visit. Its now been over 6 months and I have not be refunded the money that I paid for this visit that was canceled. This is fraud to even bill this visit out. They shouldnt have billed this to the insurance or to me. I guess however they can make some money. I honestly dont understand where any of these positive reviews are coming from since everyone that I talk to about this office has terrible things to say and most women going for the infertility have left Chester County and gone somewhere else. I spoke to the office manager about the visits and she basically referred me to go somewhere else. well duh I just thought she would want to know what was going on in the practice.

CRNP Beth Carney was so great. On time, took her time, and very personable. I always have a great experience at CC OB/GYN.

I was more than pleased and happy with my experience. I went into the appointment very worried and nervous about potential problems but was put at ease right away by Dr. Kansky. She took a lot of time to explain things to me and was very patient. The staff was very warm and caring and I will definitely continue with Dr Kansky and the practice.

Called with a UTI in bad pain and chose to speak with a nurse. I was triaged and offered an appointment with a dr in one of their offices. The same day. Compassionate triage nurse; compassionate dr. Receptionist was great when I checked in and need to urinate and was in a lot of pain. She got a specimen cup to me right away. They call back when you leave messages. Very satisfied. These people actually do doctoring . . . they dont just pass you off to urgent care or the emergency room.

Dr. Mansfield and his Nurse Diane are LITERALLY the best. They really know how to take care of a women pregnant with twins. I feel safe and confident in their care. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I love this practice. Everyone is great! The only thing I wish they would work on is their time management. I almost always have to wait 45-50 mins for a schedule appointment. Thats annoying especially when you are a 9am apt. How are they already that behind? And why doesn’t anyone tell you when you check in so you can make a decision about whether or not you want to wait or make another apt?

Dr. Korzen and Athena are excellent. Athena was particularly life affirming and upbeat.

I had my first experience with Casey Davis and she could not have been kinder. Wonderful bedside manner, and made the experience so easy.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Chester county OBGYN. I’ve met/seen a few of the doctors and they are all very nice! My regular doc is Dr. Delaney and she is always wonderful, very thankful for her! Always feels comfortable talking with her. I am Very Happy that she was able to deliver my daughter via c-section on 10/29/20!

I highly recommend Chester County OB/GYN for a comfortable, validating experience. Due to a past trauma history, I rarely feel comfortable dealing with medical professionals. But the staff at Chester County OB/GYN addressed my questions and concerns in a respectful and kind manner. I very much appreciate Dr. Pamela Kurey for her warm and attentive way of making her patients feel at ease. I absolutely love Susanne Richards. She is the kindest, sweetest person ever and makes you feel so comfortable at your appointments. She really takes the time to talk with you, and you never feel rushed or guilty for having questions. She is warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and I am so happy I started seeing her!

A client of mine referred me to Dr. Slavish and she was awesome. She was running significantly late but took lots of time to talk to me and listen to my concerns. I had seen other doctors through Axia that were pretty dismissive, refused my request for tubal ligation and were a little pushy about IUDs which I am not at all interested in. Dr. slavish ordered an ultrasound and was totally cool with my request to have my tubes tied. A fibroid was found which explained my pain! I was supposed to have a consultation about what the next step would be. My insurance changed. I called the office to see if they accepted it and they didn’t know so I called my insurance company who assured me she was in network. That wasn’t the case so I was turned away when I showed up. They were able to give me a list of insurance they accepted before I left. I changed insurance and waited until January when it went into effect. The day of my appointment I was called and informed she was stuck in the OR and I’d have to reschedule. The following day I was called and told the appointment they rescheduled me to wouldn’t work and that Dr. Slavish was limiting her schedule, that “anyone can do it” and they asked “would I like a male or female doctor?”. I have currently cancelled. I have been suffering for years, finally found someone willing to look into it, finally found someone who respected my wishes and I now have to research/chose/find someone else. I’m pretty disappointed with my experience.

I had such a pleasant appointment. Dr. kansky was so positive about my health improvements. I did not feel like just another patient. She was interested in how I made these changes . The front desk receptionist efficient and pleasant. The nurse who took me to the office was very positive as well.

My son was delivered 10 weeks early than expected. The entire experience was calm despite the unexpected csection. All the doctors in the practice knew what was happening with me, my child and made the best decision for us. So thankful I chose this practice. I was treated like family. All my attending doctors genuinely cared checked on me after my delivery.

Office staff are extremely nice and welcoming. They apologize if you’re kept waiting past your appointment time, which in an obstetrics office you should understand why you may have to wait because of their type of patients.The doctors and nurse practitioners are extremely experienced and caring.

I used this practice to deliver all 3 of my wonderful children almost 20 years ago and always had an amazing experience. Just recently, my 19 year old daughter started going there for her first checkup and they were absolutely wonderful with her. I delivered my first baby at age 35 under the care of Dr. Delaney. I highly recommend her and there are other wonderful doctors at the practice, as well. The nurses and receptionists were very attentive to my needs. Thank you everyone for helping bringing my greatest joy into this world.

Dr. Akins quality of care was excellent and was extremely informative and thorough during my whole procedure. Her staff made me feel very comfortable and truly cared for during my procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Akins and Chester County OBGYN!! It was a very positive and professional experience.

Extremely displeased with the front desk. They were absolutely rude and refused me service after I got the appointment after more than a month. My appointment was at 11 30 and I walked in at 11 35. The office was not the one I would go to normally and I was unsure about the location. They made a last minute change after the other office closed due to flooding. Stacey Smith and Tracy were absolutely horrendous and I dont know how they would even get jobs where they have to work with people. They have no empathy and no shame. Disgusting.

Dr Mansfield is a great and trusted professional. Been a patient for 22 years now and have always been pleased with the time he spends with me.

When I went there it was good, but if you want to talk to a nurse You are put on hold for a long time And I had to have a biopsy but was not told about what I had to do to prepare for it. I had to google and find out..

My wife was a patient here for her first pregnancy, which was unfortunately a miscarriage. Her second pregnancy is now ongoing and we tried the other day to schedule an appointment. We had her first visit at CCCC which is a phenomenal non-profit that sets you up for a wonderful pregnancy for your initial care. We had our first ultrasound with CCCC using their brand new state-of-the-art machine. When we called the front desk of Axia Womens health in WC, She said that they dont read reports from doctors outside their practice. This brought immediate concern, so I asked that if you are incapable of reading an outside report which holds valuable data, why should I trust my wife in your care? She became short with me and began getting snippy, I have no room for short tempered people in my life. We transferred today to their Exton/Main line location which will happily review her file. Being West Chester residents, we will have to commute a little further and have to be delivered at the Paoli hospital, but unfortunately we have no choice. The doctors are great at both locations, but unfortunately what good is that when the front desk staff is incompetent.

Dr. Delaney is outstanding! I knew I was in wonderful hands when I had my hysterectomy. She explained the procedure in detail and made me feel completely at ease proceeding forward with the surgery. Everyone from the nurses at Chester County hospital to the Staff at Dr. Delaney’s office have been amazing. Who can honestly say they love their OB/GYN...I do!

I cant believe all of the negative reviews here about this practice. I have been coming here for years and couldnt be happier with them. The staff has always been great and Ive never had an issue with them. Yes there are doctors who run behind schedule (like any doctors office) but there are also doctors who are extremely punctual. I switched from a doctor who always ran late to one whos always on time, problem solved. There are a lot of doctors here so maybe try each one until you find the one that fits. Ive always found the doctors helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I normally dont post reviews but I felt the need to say something because of the great experience Ive had with them for so long.

I have never had a bad experience at Chester county obgyn. They have been the best! Dr Kansky in particular has gone above and beyond for me both times I’ve seen her. I cannot say enough good things about her. She is so knowledgeable, caring and an overall great doctor. I hope that this gets to the management team there because she has been that great. I have been a patient here for over 10 years and have had a baby with this practice. Ive had many doctors and nurse practitioners and have always felt very well taken care of. The doctors make time to answer all of your questions. Many of my friends go to this practice. I would definitely recommend them!

I have been with CC OBGYN for years. Wonderful practice all around. Since I was a young teen through the birth of both my daughters. I am now 35. Love ALL the doctors and nurses! Always a pleasant experience. Dr. Ferreira is my go-to. The most excellent bedside manner and takes time to listen. He is the absolute best! Will never go anywhere else.

I have not had a good experience at this office. The front desk staff is extremely rude. There is no patient teaching that occurs after my appointments. I recently got an IUD with no information to take home with me and now am facing complications. I will be going to another office. I do not recommend it here.

I had a really great experience with Dr. Tepper at this office. He delivered my daughter via c-section and was very kind & caring at every visit before and after. He listened to my needs, took time to answer any questions, and always took notes during visits- which doesn’t happen with many doctors. I always felt like he really cared and had great bedside manner. My delivery went very smoothly & I would absolutely recommend using Dr. Tepper to anyone!

Even in the midst of Thai Covid pandemic, the entire staff was so helpful and friendly. The office atmosphere is very upbeat. I felt very safe as chairs in the waiting room are blocked off to allow for social distancing , and there were never more than 3 of us in the waiting area at the same time. And by the way, It’s a huge waiting area! Dr Hotmer never disappoints, she is always concerned about her patient’s overall well being , not just the OB/GYN issues, and never rushes through the exam or appointment. Just the best OB/GYN practice and the best staff!

Bonnie Graff is truly wonderful. I can tell how patient-forward this practice is with how quickly I am able to have my needs addressed. Going to see a gynecologist was always a daunting task before, but coming to this office has really changed my opinion. I feel safe, comfortable, and heard every time I come in.

Everyone was pretty good. I didnt have to wait long at all for my appointment. It did take a long time to get an appointment. I did have to fill out a ton of paperwork but thats the usual at doctors offices. Overall it wasnt bad at all. I got in and out of there pretty quick and all the staff was nice and knowledgeable.

Dr. Aikens has been my doctor for a number of years, but she still surprises me. She takes the time to come to know each of her patients and even remembers details beyond the clinical data, such as my love of swimming. Many women dread their ob/gyn appointments. I am not one of them. Joanne was also very welcoming today. I live alone and relish the kindness of those I encounter who will share a pleasantry.

Love this office. They are well organized, have a great staff of doctors and nurses and really listen to what the patient needs. I’ve been going there for five years and I’ve had two kids using a practice and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my care.

This clinic may be ok but I wouldnt recommend Dr.Delaney. I started with her before she merged her practice with Chester County and received sub-par care. Almost 6 months after giving birth, I was reflecting on the first half of my pregnancy and I find it very troubling. To start with, when I expressed concerns she told me not to worry. For example, she dismissed my concern, like when I complained about being out of breath as normal when it turned out I was anemic. This anemia led to many daily problems as well as caused problems at work for me. She once told me I seemed like crybaby but I was actually tough. If I hadnt felt so vulnerable I would have left her sooner but it was my first pregnancy and I didnt know anything. Looking back on it, Im sorely disappointed. When she merged her business 6 months into my pregnancy I felt misled. I find it hard to believe she didnt know she was looking to merge her business and that wasnt disclosed to me. I thought I was choosing a single practice doctor who would help me deliver my baby. When she jumped ship I was being herded into a larger practice without much guarantee as to who would be there for my labor. In the beginning of my pregnancy, she stressed how important it was to allow my body to decide when to give birth (up to a certain point) and how she didnt like to induce labor simply for scheduling purposes however, after she was merging she told me how easy and great it would be to schedule my labor and be induced at a time when she was available. Somehow she thought this would be a good move for me. I put up with this treatment much longer than was necessary. I tried to give her a chance- I even called her once in tears asking her point blank if she could be a true advocate for my health and she assured me she could be. However this wasnt true, all the reasons Ive just listed ( and more) she wasnt able to meet her own standards. I am long over due an apology and find the whole scenario so distasteful. If youre committing to this practice think twice before seeing this doctor.

Dr. Jennifer Akins is my GYN physician. I have seen her for many years and am fully confident in her abilities, she listens to me, is caring and gentle. Currently treating me for post menopausal bleeding.

Worst OBGYN experience I’ve ever had. ill equipped to handle even the most basic tasks for patient services. I can only imagine what nonsense happens to other patients.

I went in for a minor biopsy, not knowing what to expect, and the nurse as well as Dr. Lydia Slavish explained the procedure & what I should expect during & after the biopsy. The accuracy was amazing as well as reassuring to me! I was made to feel very comfortable by all the staff I encountered. I would absolutely recommend Chester County OBGYN to anyone!!

I love my doctors here but the fact that there is a 40$ charge to complete FMLA paperwork through a 3rd party is crazy. (no one else I know at other practices has had to do this)I was told others do but I know a ton of women who just had babies and asked them, they did not have to. With how much it costs to have a baby it seems like you’d roll that into the already high price tag.

I be been a long time patient at Chester County OB/GYN. My physician retired earlier this year and today was my first visit with Dr. Mansfield. He and his crew were great! They were on time, professional and addressed my concerns. I would definitely refer other to them.

Today, 8/15/23, was my 2nd visit with Dr. Kurey. She & Francine were just as thorough & caring as my 1st visit was. I couldnt be happier with my new GYN team!

I was just referred to Dr. Ferreira by my daughter (who is not one to wish me the worst). She told me she LOVED this Dr. because he had a wonderful bedside manner. When she or I find a doctor who is super, we dont mind a bit of a wait. Bring your cellphone, Kindle, Laptop...whatever. You would be playing with those no matter where you are. A good Dr. is worth it. If I was looking for a good place to eat, no cars in the parking lot would make me keep driving. If the waiting room has quite a few people, it says a lot to me.

I highly recommend CHESTER COUNTY OB/GYN. The staff is very friendly and courteous and very helpful. Whenever I leave, I always leave feeling comfortable that all of my questions have been answered and anything that I need, they are there to help.

I’m going to be honest- I have not had great experiences in the past with Chester county-west Chester (until I went to Suzanne who is so great!). I switched from the west Chester to downingtown office. I just got off the phone with a triage nurse, Sara (not sure which office she is at). She was sooo nice and very very helpful in giving me recommendations with my specific question. Maybe things have changed- I’m very glad to have such a positive experience here!

I called here to make an appointment and was told “We don’t take patients without insurance, but I can give you the phone number to the clinic it’ll be free if you go there”. I’m obviously calling this place for a reason.... even after I said “I’m aware I’ll have to pay upfront, its not a problem” I was still denied services because I don’t have insurance. I have never in my life have I ever heard of a place denying someone because of not having insurance especially when I’m willing to pay cash upfront. I’ll take my cash payment somewhere else. I can only imagine how the staff treats the patients at this facility

This is the first time I’ve seen Dr. Tepper. He was amazing - personable, great bedside manner and very thorough in gathering information and explaining things to me. The nurse was great as well. I felt very welcome not just another patient.

I love Chester County OB/GYN. I’m 35 years old and expecting my second child. My oldest is 9 and I was under their care for both pregnancies as well as pre-children. I have never been to a different OB. Dr. Askinas is caring for me now and he is just the most attentive physician, always taking the time to answer my questions and never making me feel rushed out. I recommend this practice to anyone asking for a good referral and will continue to do so. In light of Covid they have taken extra precautions to ensure the safety of their patients and staff which is commendable!

Love Dr. Diane Hotmer! Shes very personable, caring and helpful. Assistant Tracy was also these qualities today. Dr Hotmer apologized sincerely twice for running a bit late. We in the medical field know this can easily happen.

I was very hesitent, nervous and fearful when I visited Dr. Slavish for the first time. I thought there may not be a way to help me since I am well over the age of child bearing, I expected to be put on hold until others were taken care of. I was very wrong about this as I was treated equally and extremely well by all personnel. Dr. Slavish was very understanding and more than patient with me even when I asked the same question over and over again. I truely appreciate her concern and her understanding and would recommend her to anyone who needs her help in any way,...even when they are way beyond their child bearing years. Thank you Dr. Slavish. Thank you personnel. I will return without hesitation.

When I called to schedule my appointment I was able to get a desired date a time quite easily. Before the day of my appointment , I had a question and it was answered promptly and efficiently. My appointment was great. I wasnt rushed. Bonnie took time to address my questions. Great experience.

The overall experience with ChesCo WC was delightful. The staff is professional & kind. There has never been a time that I had an inconsiderate wait time. The only concern I have is the elevator being out & not being notified. I think it was shameful of the staff to have the elderly walk FOUR flights of stairs. I saw a fellow patient with a cane.

Had to have a follow up procedure done today at the west Chester office with Dr Mansfield and his nurse today was Eileen. Everyone was super kind and nurturing as well as informative and quick with scheduling. Highly recommend

Ive been going there for over 20 years. Its,a great practice. Never had any problems. Had my son. I live in Lancaster county now and I still go there. Nurses are great, doctors are great the staff is great also.

Ever since Doctor Gold left, this office has gone down hill. They are extremely rude and not accommodating to patients time. They don’t care if you have Medical issues occurring. No one is important youre a number. I️ really miss the personal and thorough attention given by Dr Gold and his nurse Tracy. I’ve never written a review before but feel it needed to be done. All my sisters left this practice and now I’m going as well. Bigger isn’t always better!!
