A Reply to Your Reply : Another young lady spoke on the same issue in the reviews ! You dismissed a young lady while she was 8 months pregnant and had no one to deliver her baby ! Your not Sorry because if you was Sorry, you would have reached out to me . Your respond was only for reviews ! People may not want to speak out but I will speak out ! It’s a shame that women in Waycross have to go to doctors outside of Waycross because you choose to allow your personal life to influence your job duties as a Healthcare Professional !!!!! I honestly didn’t want to go public with what had happen to me during my visit to this office, but I would like to bring awareness to patients rights. I tried to schedule a appointment with Dr. Border and at that time, they were all booked up and was not taking new patients. Due to my health at the time, I needed to see a doctor urgent ( the hospital suggested I follow up with a locate provider ). Since there was no openings at zDr. Border office, I had no choice but to see another doctor who I was unfamiliar with. After a week, I receive a call stating that Dr. Border office will be able to see me. I was hastened at first, but was easily talked into scheduling a appointment - by stuff. After visiting this office and getting my labs drawn, they requested for my lab results. The lab faxed over the wrong doctor results and it was from the previous doctor I recently visited, due to Dr. Border not having any openings . Instead of the office staff or Dr. Border calling me, Dr. Border immediately ask her staff to call the other doctor Office staff and ask them to DENY any care to me and they were going to do the same. (This was During the time I was still ill ) Recently, when trying to processed to get care from another doctor, I was again deny care because of her actions. ( Due to this doctor being located in her office) I am not on any medication and was not asking for any meds at anytime during my care. I could not believe I was treated like this, when I needed a doctor the most. I work in healthcare and run plenty of businesses as well. I understand the hard work, frustration, and dedication it takes to get the job done first hand. But I have also been a patient and understand that no one should ever have to experience the pain, hurt , and lack of care I received. I reached out to the office several times and there has not been a call back or apologize for the mishandling of my care or their action. Even though I’m not able speak on everything that happen to me. I just hope and pray no one else has to experience the suffering and pain I went through. I pay over 500 dollars a month for healthcare and I can pick and choose my own doctors. Waycross is a small town and there are not many options to choose from ! I wish everyone the best of luck and hopefully this office is working toward changing their habits and ways !

Posted from my husbands account: This was my first pregnancy after infertility for 5 years and I was new to the whole thing, but I come from a family of medical professionals and know what it is to have attentive and professional care. This was neither. I rarely got a chance to speak to her and when I did (which was maybe twice or three times during the entire pregnancy), it was incredibly rushed. I was told that around 38 weeks we would be discussing a birth plan, but upon the arrival of my 38th week she swept in, checked my cervix, and left again without any discussion. When I questioned a nurse about this and asked to speak about it, she returned, visibly frustrated and short with me, and said we would not be discussing a birth plan until 39 or 40 weeks. This never happened and after this point, I began to be treated awfully by most of the staff. (The front desk staff were always wonderful though, I must say.) I have pictures of the monitor being tied so tightly around my pregnant belly that my stomach bulged around it, though this was never necessary at the hospital for the same monitoring. They would tell me to go through the ER rather than typical registration, which I was told by hospital staff was unnecessary and would do nothing but take significantly more time. I dealt with hyperemesis gravidarum for most of my pregnancy and my Zofran almost never got sent to my pharmacy, despite repeated assurances to the contrary, until I called the front desk and near begged for it. My synthroid never was sent to my pharmacy, however, and I finally went to my GP for it. It was approaching 41 weeks without any discussion when I said that I wanted to be induced. I had no knowledge of what this would be like beyond from Google searches because no one had spoken to me about anything beyond when I made it a point to get questions answered, and then was usually treated as if I was being difficult. Had I perhaps been more informed, I may have immediately opted for the C section that was necessary after two days of the most incredible pain on pitocin and nearly losing my son when his heart rate dropped. After giving birth, I made an appointment for an IUD and the same nurse who tied my monitor so tight and was continually rude to me told me that my insurance would not bill correctly. I have standard GA medicaid and had it for 2 months after the pregnancy. I was so confused by this behavior that I reached out to family members who are also medical professionals with my story and my pictures to make sure I wasnt crazy. Im not sure why the doctor and staff are so insulted by patients wanting to slow things down and be informed that they mistreat them but it was perplexing and honestly depressing to go through while dealing with an already incredibly difficult pregnancy. Avoid this office unless you want the one redeeming quality of your prenatal care to be the very sweet front desk staff.

Dropped me as a patient at 8 months because i said she was unprofessional due to her unprofessionalism! In 8 months i seen her maybe twice!, then none of her colleagues wanted to deliver my child, when one finally gave in she messed up my uterus and had to sew it up a way not normally needed. Then waited til my 6 week check up to tell me not to have anymore children because uterus could erupt. Im 30 two kids 8 yrs apart.
