Overall I felt I was listened to however, my issues were disregarded and proper tests were not completed to properly diagnose my issues.The first appointment initially went well as I was sharing my issues & concerns; however I was given a diagnosis WITHOUT proper testing… this didn’t sit right with me as I knew what I was dealing with needed to be ruled out… I pressed for testing but only received 50% of what I needed… the tests confirmed what I already knew wasn’t the proper diagnosis. I was given a steroid cream that doesn’t treat the root of my issues. Still in pain and still trying to find a doctor to prescribe an antibiotic. I knew medical racism was real as I’ve experienced it before but this is just another level of it. Considering I paid out of pocket for this appointment I expected every test to be done and medicine to be prescribed but I received neither. Just a steroid to treat symptoms. Even with research my concerns were disregarded and I was tested for things I knew wasn’t the issue. Antiquated, racist and insensitive. Will not go back.

I had an 8am appointment time for my first appointment at this practice, and do acknowledge that I was 18 minutes late, as the traffic kept adding time to my Waze. I emailed to inform them, and also let them know on the phone. They did not inform me that I should not come in. However, I was met with the most disrespectful treatment upon entering the practice, not only from the front desk staff, but the Nurse Practitioner herself (Lucy). She approached me in the most unprofessional manner, and when I did not want to shake her hand, was made to feel like I was being aggressive? It was definitely an interesting tactic to take and has highlighted some non-inclusive points of view she might hold. Stay away from this practice as there are other options that provide a higher level of customer care and service. Check the yelp reviews to gain a better understanding than what is listed here.

Dr. Simon was thorough and listened to all my concerns and assisted me when other doctors werent able to. His staff were wonderful to work with. Would highly recommend this practice.

I have been going to Dr Simon’s practice for almost 40 years. Of the many doctors I have seen in my lifetime, he is heads above them all. Caring, respectful, empathetic, deeply knowledgeable and highly respected in his field, he is everything a patient could hope for in a medical provider. His office staff, including Carol Mack, Lucy Treene, Mika and Lucy are all cut from the same caring and supportive cloth. If I could rate this practice more highly, I would do so. They are the best.

Such an incredible team! Worked with Carol Mack and her team today and she was extremely compassionate and very knowledgeable. I never felt rushed, had all of my questions answered, and she was so thorough and understanding. It was one of the best medical experiences I have had in a long time and I already feel like I am on a road to recovery. I would highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Rachel Rubin is awesome! Her knowledge and ability to discuss the sometimes difficult subject of sex and issues related to sex is very refreshing and comfortable. She explains and provides information through discussion, PowerPoint, publications. Website information, etc. Initially, I was surprised that you meet with her for almost an hour, so it’s not your typical wait 30 minutes and then 5-10 with the Dr. and then you’re done. Dr. Rubin spends the time to get to know you and your significant other and the problems or issues that you may be experiencing before making recommendations. I’ve seen her for 2 years now and she’s made a huge difference in me and my significant others sex life and a huge difference in my overall quality of life. Her practice doesn’t take insurance and the appointments cost more but she is well worth the expense. Where else can you sit and meet with a Dr. and discuss all of your issues for an hour and get real results? Thanks Dr. Rubin!

Ive been a patient of Lucy Treene since February, 2019. I was referred to her by my regular OB-GYN because I had unusual and persistent symptoms. She diagnosed my problem immediately and accurately, and the treatment she prescribed has been very effective. Her bedside manner is superb - she explains everything, answers all questions, and can handle my sometimes anxious personality. The office staff is also responsive and very pleasant. I couldnt ask for more from a medical office. They are wonderful.

I met with Dr. Treene for a follow up visit. Dr. Treene was very personable and professional. She took time to speak with me before and after the exam. I plan to return in 6 months for another visit. It was a productive and pleasant visit with Dr. Treene. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

I’ve had personal issues historically with birth control that caused me to seek out a serious professional. Lucy Treene is hands down the most thorough, caring, professional, and knowledgeable person I’ve ever had the luck to see seen by. Since working with her, my relationship with birth control and any pain it’s caused my body has reversed … seeing her was a game changer! I’ll recommend her to any friends and family I know who have similar issues. Further their office staff and medical attendants are empathetic, professional, and simply fantastic. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Dr. Simón is that very rare phenomenon : a studious and truly interested specialist with a breadth of knowledge and experience -which in this era of medical practice is as scarce as hen’s teeth.

I have seen three practitioners are this practice. Each experience has been unprecedented in the amount of attention Ive been given, and how invested these medical providers were in getting to the bottom of whatever I presented. This is a stellar practice, full of compassionate, caring, extremely knowledgeable medical practitioners. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Lucy Treene, Caroline, and the whole staff are incredibly attentive, caring, sensitive and helpful! They all just make you feel comfortable and at ease discussing any and all problems you may have. Also, Lucy helped diagnose a problem that no one else caught for years. Im so happy I came here!

I have been going to Dr. Simon for over 20 years. He always has time to answer my myriad questions and even gives me copies of research to deepen my understanding! Recently I went in for a Dax bone density scan. My old records were pulled up so we could compare the results. The technician flawlessly gave me information at each step of the procedure. In the end the preliminary read out was positive for a 77 year-old woman!

This was my first time appointment with Dr. Simon and I really liked him. He is a wealth of knowledge and took the time to answer my questions and explain everything in detail.

The staff is always friendly and supportive. Dr. James Simon is one of my favorite doctors. He is respectful, concerned, and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Rachel Rubin is like no other doctor I have ever seen. She approached my symptoms (bladder pain) not by giving me medication directly but first we talked for an hour about my history and she suggested to first try and see whats causing the pain. I like that her approach is more holistic as supposed to straight to chemicals. Its the first time a doctor looked into hormones and stress as possible triggers for my pain. I have great hope that her approach will help me. Strongly recommend her as a urologist.

Dr. Simon is the most knowledgable doctor I have ever dealt with, explains menopause and all it’s nuances clearly and is proactive to help us older women feel vibrant and energetic. Helps get your mojo back!

Dr. Rubin is the most empathetic, patient provider I’ve ever met with. I went through years of non-diagnosis with dozens of doctors, and finally felt listened to when I met Dr. Rubin. Couldn’t recommend more!

Dr. Rubin eliminated 95% (or more?) of my symptoms (recurring EXTREME urinary pain, frequent and unpredictable) after my first visit. A variety of doctors - family medicine, a neurologist and several urologists - could neither diagnose it, nor treat it. I’d been experiencing between 4-6 four-day events per month, and the pain and frequency were increasing. Since seeing Dr. Rubin, I have had only one four-day event and two six-hour events - in 7 months! The improvement (and near elimination) of this problem has been astonishing. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone experiencing pelvic pain and am very pleased with the intelligent attention she has shown me and the relief & results they have provided. A+++.
