I can not stress enough how amazing this place is. I have never felt safer, more accommodated, and comfortable in a medical facility.I got a vasectomy here today and I can not properly express how kind and friendly the staff were. I was very nervous at first but their general demeanor and compassion were incredible.I also get my transgender hormone therapy from them, and they have been amazing on that front, too. Very painless and easy process, while still providing all the necessary information to make a proper informed decision about what works for you.I can not recommended them enough. Genuinely doing amazing work. I wish I could give them 6 stars

Had the smallest of misunderstandings at the beginning just because it was my first time going, but once that was resolved, my care was swift, thoughtful, kind and awesome. Rose has amazing bedside manner and goes above and beyond to make their patients feel comfortable, heard and cared for; she should definitely get some kind of acknowledgement for this! you can tell they genuinely care about their patients 💓

Four stars because the staff were very nice. They made the process of my appointment smooth sailing and made me feel comfortable.I will say I had an appointment and finally saw someone after two hours of waiting in the lobby. Other than that, had a great experience for my first visit with this clinic.

I read reviews that put this clinic down and was initially slightly hesitant because of this. I have to disagree with the negative reviews. I was treated with compassion and respect from the moment I called to make my appointment all the way to end.I decided to write this personal account to give something back for the support that I received from Cedar River Clinic - and also for all the other women who might be scared and stressed in this moment.The staff, particularly - the RN’s and provider - listened to me and helped me feel better about my decision, especially when I needed it the most.I was told over the phone that I would need to reserve 3-5 hours of my day for this appointment and sure enough I was there for 4. I was aware of this, so it is what I expected, I didn’t mind waiting to know that this team was taking their time to provide the best possible care they could for their patients.After it was over, I left the clinic feeling ultimately relieved - albeit a bit sad. It’s a strange feeling - but I am happy that it’s over and I can move on with my life.Thank you for making this most difficult time in my life as easy as it could possibly be - I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I dreaded my appointment here. Was very emotional. A friend recommended me to this place. They treated me so kindly. Each person took an extra moment to comfort me in my process. I told the girl on my way out I only wish I had been able to thank everyone. Would recommend anyone to this place with a difficult decision to make. They will make you feel better about everything.

Everyone from making the appointment to when I was finished with my procedure was so supportive! They made me feel comfortable in ever way possible. I appreciate all their help and would recommend this clinic to everyone! Thank you all again so much for helping me through what was a very emotional time for me.*side note there was a couple protesters outside but they just stood on the sidewalk and said they would pray for me very quietly as I walked by*

Though the parking is limited and the entrance is sort of tucked away, the staff are super friendly and helpful. When I was working two jobs they took time to figure out when I could be in for my next appointment without interfering with my work schedule. Not to mention the waiting area is cozy and quiet.The doctors and nurses work fast, yet still take time to make you feel welcome by keeping a conversation as they work. Thanks to their convenient locations and the insurance they take, I have been taking T for 7 weeks and they even made sure my insurance sent me a 75% off at the pharmacy card because my insurance didnt cover my syringes like they tbought it would.

This is my second time here. I have sat in the waiting room both times for over an hour and a half. Finally went to the back. Just to sit in another waiting room for another hour.The staff is nice but very resistant when it comes to information about the waiting, but these wait times are absolutely ridiculous. Either they are low staffed and shouldnt be accepting all of these patients in one day, or they are very slow at their job and should hire more knowledgeable staff.

Everyone from the person on the phone to the doctor I saw was wonderfully kind and informative. I used to dread visits regarding birth control, because others have made the conversation uncomfortable in the past, but everyone I have seen or spoken to here has put me at ease and been wonderfully personable. Ive heard that they normally have quite long waits, so I was instructed to come plenty early and still waited a while, so definitely prepare yourself for that.

Make it more clear your scheduled appointment is not when youll actually be seen. Waiting in a lobby thats quite is alright. But for people vommitting or having nausea.

Even though I couldnt have someone in the clinic with me during my appointment, I have never been more welcomed or treated as nicely in any clinic before. I had a lot of anxiety visiting, the nurses made me feel 1000 times better and talked me through everything.

This clinic has employees that have the worst attitude. The lady who schedules your follow up appointment is rude and gives tons of attitude and is not accommodating at all. The lady at the front desk also has a bad attitude and I think they get joy in making patients pay outta pocket for all procedures. And the lady that does the billing didn’t update my information my insurance information and seemed like she was jus trying too deter me from having my appointment by putting a dollar amount on everything. Worse experience ever!

My girlfriend went here today for an abortion and I couldn’t believe how awesome these people were ..... the whole time she felt extremely taken care of and comfortable even in her time of distress. I ended up not being able to go inside with her because of the COVID situation, sadly falling asleep and forgetting her there all together. She had to stay there for 5 hours after she had finished her appointment, not being able to get ahold of anyone she was frantically calling anyone she could . In the mean time , they didn’t hesitate to make her food from the lunch room (top Roman) and fill her up with snacks. They reassured her no matter what she’ll get home safe,sound and to not stress out. They even went out of there way to get her a 25$ gift card to Safeway for gas and food for when she did get picked up! Amazing work guys! Couldn’t of asked for a better staff! Thank you to everyone at Cedar River Clinic for their amazing compassion and legendary customer service and just down right humanity. I would recommend this clinic to everyone, you’ll always be in good hands !

This place is the only one that could help me save my baby. I will forever be grateful for the compassion and the professionalism of the nurses and doctors and MAs here. If Dr. Gu hadnt taken the time to listen and understand our situation, my little girl would have spent her entire life paying for a childhood mistake. Thank God for the service this team provides. This clinic made me feel like my needs were being met, and they do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable and welcome.

I was treated with respect by the staff of Cedar River Clinic once I got past the scary looking glass windows at the entrance. My doctor was kind, respectful and gentle. I have no reservations with returning to the clinic for additional care. I recommend this clinic for transgender HRT treatment.

Before I went in I read all these reviews,I honestly think the people that did one star might be pro testers, there where protesters outside when I went In, but I had the best experience there, I was very very nervous and scared and everyone was so nice and understanding, it didn’t hurt at all I got the sedation. Really amazing people. Might have wait 2 hours but it goes by fast.

I had an abortion 20 years ago and I still regret it. I miss my sweet baby . The abortion clinic didnt tell me I was gonna have a baby ripped out of me, my milk was gonna come in and my mother instincts were going to turn on and I would try to commit suicide by overdosing because I let them kill my baby. Dont do it. Jesus loves you and your baby. Choose life. Dont let fear trick you into thinking this is the easy way out.

This is the most hokey dokie place Ive ever been to in my life! When you consider the reason they are in business, even slightly unprofessional doesnt quite cut it ! As much as Id love to say that only slightly unprofessional was as bad as it got , that would be a lie! They have me arrive at 830am only to sit in waiting room until 1120am where I was taken into a room , weighed, had my iron checked and returned to waiting room. An hour later I was taken to a different room, this time to talk about medical history and meds. Taken back to waiting for another 40 mi Utes. Only to finally be taken Into exam roo.m for ultrasound and 10 mins later back to waiting room for another 40 minutes . Finally taken Into another exam room where two women spent an hour poking and prodding everywhere on my arms/hands and feet only to look at me and try to convince me to say f*** the sedation, Ill do it natural with nothing! Which is exactly what happened as I lay there, balling my eyes out with my stomach cramping so much for about 6 minutes that I can still feel it the next day!! I recommend nothing about this place and wish I wouldve went back to the place on 38th pacific ish like years prior!!

Cedar river clinic in Tacoma has literally impacted my life in the most positive ways possible. Without them and the services they provide I would not lead the life Im so grateful have today.The staff were/are so compationate and caring, it really made all the difference for me AND my son.

If you want something less painful, they have options. My procedure was quick and painless almost with offered sedation. But definitely will be be waiting a while. Nice people.

I went in to get my to get my birth control removed after my Primary care doctor couldnt remove it after two trys and I came here and they Did it!!!! yes it took a little bit longer then expected but they did amazing with me and I love this place its always been such a safe place too everyone is truly amazing there thank you guys

If I could give them no stars I would. Dr. Juliet Marsh almost killed my husband due to neglecting his needs and warning signs. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! The doctors DO NOT CARE about the patients. They just want to get money out of you. This place needs to be shut down and Dr.Marsh needs to be fired.

Appointment at 10:15 I’ve been waiting for over 4 hours. I am so mad! If I didn’t need this so urgently I would have left. Never ever coming here again ! People should not have to wait 4+ hours ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. This is beyond ridiculous. You deserve no stars.

While everyone has been friendly at Cedar River Clinics (in both locations) their staff has dropped the ball time and time again when it comes to paperwork. I cannot express how frustrating it has been to rely on this clinic over the past two years.

CRC saved my life. Getting HRT is so frustrating, even here in WA, but the amazing Dr. Marsh, and all the wonderful staff, have made it as painless as possible. 5 stars isnt enough!

I went there a few years ago and they made me feel like it wasn’t my fault. They were all professional and they tried to meet all of my needs. Not the prettiest place but definitely a place that you can trust.

The front desk lady may not have been the most friendly ever but she really tried anyway and I have had a good experience in coming here whereas when I went to planned parenthood it was the most traumatic thing ever!!! Definitly would recommend to others seeking help

Absolutely an amazing place if you are in need of the services they provide. They are very professional and comforting during times where you may feel uneasy, confused, etc. Helpful staff and excellent work!

Great place to go! Their staff is amazing, friendly and knowledgeable
