NextCare Urgent Care Surprise

Horrible Experience. I will never take my daughter here again. Provider Anthony Marchelli was extremely snide. Sad when you leave the appointment, and your child says, I didnt not like the way the doctor treated you dad. Ive never encountered such rude behavior with a provider or their staff asking me to diagnose my child and treat me like I was stupid. This is the type of treatment a parent will receive if the other parent has government assistance for health coverage. Long wait times while the staff chats and carrys on about personal conversations. Way past my childs appointment time. Alliance Urgent Care is by far way better than this place and the staff. The only person who deserves to be noticed is the girl at the front desk. She was the only polite and professional person there. I never received my daughters school note even after I had to call back up to the location.

Went there with sinusitis symptoms consistent with infection. A long history with them. The practitioner immediately started lecturing me and cutting me off. I shut down and just agreed with him even when he was wrong. When I told him I’d had 30-40 UTI’s in my life. (I’m 63). He wanted to argue and shame me about that. He gave me grief about getting treated for one in a foreign country while traveling. He droned on about “ I don’t want to lecture you BUT…”. I was just hoping for the interaction to be over. I don’t even bother to tell him that my symptoms were not allergies because they persisted even when I was in another climate for two weeks. That I had other symptoms that I stopped describing because I just wanted him to stop his tirade. I am thankful my copay was only $15. I’d rather be sick than be treated like that again.Edit - my provider was the same person described in several other negative reviews. Anthony M. I am retired but studied as a bio-psychologist at the doctorate level and was treated like I didn’t understand my own body.

My nurse was amazing. Quick and painless strep test and my NP was one of the best doctors Ive seen in Arizona. Kind, understanding, caring, empathetic. Just all around a great office and will definitely be coming back when I need to!

The PA who helped me was so funny, kind, very sharp, and knowledgeable. He knew what my diagnosis was before entering the room which means he actually read my chart before walking in. I’m so used to having to repeat my symptoms to every person I talk to so this was a really nice experience. I left and told my husband I’ve never had a good experience at an urgent care until now!

This nurse practitioner was horrible as he was criticizing everyone at my PCP office plus everything I did previously was wrong. He told me to get over the counter medication and gave me a covid test to tell me that it was positive when I did NOT have any symptoms. If I could give him less than one star, I would. I would never go there again. The other lady in the backyard was not very polite either. The front desk lady was very short in asking questions. All of these people need some manners taught to them especially being in customer service. Something positive would have been greatly appreciated!

Hubby took our son in yesterday for a routine sports physical and the ladies at the front desk were super friendly. Appointment was quick and thorough. Highly recommend.

The gal at the front desk wasn’t very friendly, not just with me, just generally to all that came in. Pretty off-putting for someone that is the face of your business when you first walk in. Nurse practitioner was thorough and enjoyable though.

It was a great experience. Anthony Marchelli was very professional and diagnosed me quickly. He also educated me on over-the counter medications that work with the antibiotics. I was a walk-in and had a four hour wait but they were able to cut it to one-and-a-half hours. Clean lobby and friendly staff.

My father and I went together since we were both under the weather and from a different state. The front office staff was curt. We had to ask for our visit summaries so we could leave. (They were sitting on the counter next to the receptionist, but we were instructed to be seated in the waiting room where we would be called to collect them when they were ready.) The PA was condescending and quick. Medical history was barely skimmed over. Additionally, I paid a copay prior to services, assured that was all I would owe, and am now being harassed for additional money. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the facility was modern and clean. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Walked in without an appointment I believe I was there for all of 30 minutes. Not bad for urgent care was quickly assessed, and evaluated was explained the course of treatment and I was on my way. Everyone I had the pleasure of interacting with were friendly kind, and seemed genuinely interested in getting me better. Highly recommend

I am always hesitant to go to urgent cares, due to long waits and just not having good experiences. However this NextCare was amazing!!! Everyone was so kind and wonderful to my son and I. The nurse practitioner gave me great information about earaches and was just all around kind. It was an easy stress free appointment. I will be going to this Urgent care from now on. Thank you 😊

Had an appt for 6pm, checked in on the app at 5:45, it showed there were 2 walk ins and that I was next but they still called a walk in back before me at 6:05, which then made my appointment run even later. All of the staff was very nice, from the receptionist to the PA to the Physician.Edit: Had to come back to update my review. Received a bill by email even though I paid when we were in the office. Tried to call but it was a weekend and their corporate office was closed. Sent an email showing my receipt and a screen shot of my bank that it cleared my account. Waited for them to reply to my email on Monday, no luck. Tried calling, waited on hold for 17 minutes before I had to hang up. Checked the online portal again on Tuesday and still showed a balance. Called again on Tuesday and the lady I spoke to said she shows a zero balance and the online portal must not be updated yet. Very frustrating and a waste of time.

Excellent experience. Short weight with scheduled appointment. Waiting room, exceptionally, clean, friendly staff, friendly physician assistant. Traveling here from Kansas City. Use next Care in Kansas City and will use again in surprise if need care again. Very pleased.

This was a horrible experience. We got there for the last apt of the day and we were treated as such. In a big hurry to get us out without any real answers. The Nurse Practitioner was arrogant and condescending making it seem as though I was making too much out of my daughter’s SEVEN days of fevers. Blaming her cough on the “Arizona air” and allergies with post nasal drip. Scolding me for not giving her cough medicine and saying “well that’s the problem” when I told him I was only giving Motrin and Tylenol to treat her SEVEN days of fevers! Rudely asked why I wouldn’t give her anything for her cough after I told him she was coughing up quite a bit of mucus. So you’d rather I suppress that cough and allow the mucus to sit and lead to further infection? And cough suppressants are not proven effective and not recommended in children! Maybe that’s why he ultimately didn’t sent a script over for the cough medicine I would not have picked up. Then he goes on to say “I don’t think she needs antibiotics but I’ll send in a zpack to cover anything.” I actually would have loved to figure out what was going on instead of blindly treating with most likely unnecessary antibiotics. We were in and out of the room in no more than 10 minutes with absolutely zero answers. Also, I am a nurse AND a mom so before you go treating parents like incompetent people, check yourself at the door. This nurse practitioner sounded like an ignorant health professional that wanted to be done for the day. Congratulations we left as fast as we could.AND my urgent care copay clearly states $75 on the card and I checked and they were indeed in network before going but they charged me $120. The BIGGEST waste of $120 ever

All the staff that I encountered were professional and kind, the paperwork was simple and easy to follow and the overall process to get seen didn’t take long at all. I was seen by Bryan Foli and it felt like a relaxed conversation between us, couldn’t be more thankful for the caring staff and provider.

Terrible. Make an appointment for X-Rays as the website says that this is done here only to show up and find out they do not have X-Ray machines present. Then Recommended to go to another Facility 20 miles away and then havr to wait cause i dont have an appointment. How about you remove the services you dont do off your online page and not waste peoples time.

I was unable to breathe when I got there, they assisted me in a promptly manner. It was pleasant experience. All of the crew were professional and promptly with care. I left the office being able to breathe again like normal without any shortness of breath. Thank you everyone who assist me at the time of my service. Will definitely visit this office in the future.

I went in for fever dehydration and dental pain - the doctor stated they do nothing for dehydration and didn’t even bother testing to see if I had it which is ridiculous why doesn’t a urgent care have if fluids they do x rays and give out antibiotics but that’s it? I have bad teeth and two seriously infected he gave me antibiotics and didn’t even bother giving me an order of extra strength aspirin I had a fever then and 3 days later I still have a fever. I felt neglected he didn’t care about my health because he didn’t like my teeth they aren’t perfect it took a whole two minutes of his time

Wonderful experience. Exactly what you want when not feeling good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Dr listened and took care of me like he knew me forever lol. Highly recommend!!!

Just left there. From the front desk girl, all the way to the nurse practitioner, everyone was extremely nice and put us at ease with our son! Excellent customer service, did not feel rushed and everyone answered all of our questions and concerns. Definitely would recommend this urgent care over others!

Love this place for medical, Ive been here twice now, both times staff, & Dr. were great, taken very good care of me. Next Care will always be my go to place for medical issues, staff, Dr very friendly, helpful, dont feel like Im being rushed. Emailed my script right away, thank you so much for taken great care of me, Next Care!

As a mom of 5 I have been here multiple times sense its sometimes its easier to get in then going to their Drs office. I have never had a complaint everyone is so happy to help and willing to go above and beyond to help.

I went in for much needed help with pain... I was suffering from a Kidney Stone.. Extremely painful,,i couldnt sit or stand upright.. the worst pain ive ever had in my life..The front desk told me the wait was 2hrs long. That 4 teenagers had there physical scheduled.. The kids werent even there.. I believe they gt there an hr after me being there suffering in agony..I dont understand,, I was in need of Urgent Care and I was made to wait.. wait for physicals to get done.. made no sense to me.. When I was finally seen,, it was just to tell me there was nothing they could do for me.. I was charged just for that.. extremely unpleasant experience.. I had to rush to Abrazo just to find the medical attention I required.

I did a telehealth call last night cost me $30, then I went in and seen the doctors that cost me $30. He told me that he was going to draw my blood, then the nurse came in and handed me a paperwork to get my blood draw at another clinic. I said “can’t you guys just draw my blood real quick?” They said; oh there are six people waiting, we’re behind and it’s gonna take too much time and I just can’t said you guys took my money for nothing. You did absolutely nothing for me ridiculous. That’s $60 down the tube and I still have to go spend more money at the freaking lab, horrible

A. Marchelli was GREAT! He listened, was very attentive, polite, respectful, professional and explained his diagnosis. He had a great bedside manner. I was very comfortable and understood his directions. Unfortunately I didn’t have this kind of service at another Urg Cntr. I’m coming back to this Urgent center. Thank you for making my miserable day, less; with the care I received.

Melissa the intake nurse and provider Tony were both excellent. Very professional and listened to my concerns and collaborative with a treatment plan.

Excellent. The Dr recommended that I go to the ER near Winco to get an ultrasound. They discovered that I had a blood clot and Im now on a blood thinner. I appreciate so very much his insite and professionalism.

Your staff is terrific! Brian was very kind.My only negative comment is my eye is very swollen along with my cheek and is quite painful.

Went in with really not fun stomach issues - I was seen on time, competent staff and friendly. Ill never go anywhere else again for an urgent care visit. NP Bryan was awesome

Everyone here was amazing, Dr. Brian went above and beyond to find a plan to help me get better. I appreciate him and him taking the extra time.

I specifically searched online for an urgent care that can perform x-rays. The website clearly states that x-rays are a service they provide. They DO NOT have x-ray capabilities and an employee stated they’ve been aware of this misleading internet information for six months now.

This is the best Urgent Care me and my family have ever been to. It’s clean. Prompt. Professional. And most of all, the NP and medical assistant were very kind and thorough when dealing with our families complicated medical situation.

I have never been to urgent care. They were so kind and helpful. Took their time with me. The whole staff was fantastic

I made an appointment and was seen on time by Anthony Marcheilli NP. He was so informative and thorough.In a pinch I would definitely go back ! But prefer my PCP bc urgent care is expensive with my insurance.

Sports physical was a quick and efficient appointment. Front desk was kind and professional. Triage was down to earth and explanatory. Doctor was great and informative.

Only come to this place is you know a worker. If you know them they will take you right away. If you dont know anyone that works here you have to wait for hours. So if you want to feel unimportant and want to waste hours of your time, this is place is for you. If you want to be cared for I STRONGLY suggest you find somewhere else to go.

I had an appointment and they were running an hour behind. Once we got in we were taken care of quickly, but it took about 20 minutes to get our paperwork after seeing the NP.

Next are Urgent Care was easy to use and book an appointment quickly. Once there the staff was quick to get me in & out of there with a couple prescriptions

All of the staff are absolutely amazing and this is the only urgent care my husband and I come to do to them being caring, and informative about questions they are asked. We truly appreciate the staff at this facility!!! Thank you so much!!

Service was fast but the nurse practitioner was extremely rude and condescending man. I still think i need an antibiotic and will probably have to go to my regular doctor.

Take my daughters here and they love the experience. Theyre very friendly, calm, and dont have u waiting long.

I was so glad that I seen Np Anthony, he sat and talked to me to see what was going on with me.I had gone to the Er off bell and civic and they were horrible.I had a reaction to a cat allergy that was worse the normal.Anthony got me on medication right away.Im doing so much better.I will alway ask for him and will be going back to this nextcare

Very professional and welcoming staff. I was treated with respect and provided the best care. The provider was very nice with a happy face.

Appreciated the calm, thorough conversation re my condition with FNP Tony. Felt he truly cared for me as an individual. Provided clear instructions and a prescription.

Need to learn capacity management and scheduling. My appt was at 3:36pm and after 4pm and still waiting. This is not rocket science. Wasting peoples time.

This is my go to quite frankly many times they’re better than my primary. To the point fast effective results oriented I highly recommend them.

The doctor I saw at your surprise facility on Mountain View was one of the most arrogant people I have ever met.I would like a refund of my co-pay and charges to my insurance dropped. I lost my cool which is unlike me, worst experience ever. I feel like garbage and the guy ask me why I didn’t try over the counter stuff and continues to ask me why I was there. Tells me to self diagnose and use over the counter medication. I refuse to pay for that horrible of advice and utter arrogance. If there was fewer than one star I would check that box!!!

Everyone was kind and compassionate and not in a hurry to get us out. The wait time was minimal. The treatment helped very much.

The staff they have is great! I was nervous coming in but the nurse I had today was very sweet and made me laugh and made it a point to make sure I felt welcomed and comfortable. The Nurse practitioner was also super sweet and informative everyone there made me feel very comfortable I would definitely recommend going here. Thank you to everyone there you guys are great at what you do :).

Efficient and wait time was short. Picked up medications and starting to feel better already. Staff was pleasant and responsive.

I was told the wait was about an hour, it was 3. I said I can’t swallow, my glands are sore to touch and my body is starting to ache all over. I know strep is on the way. The doc said he couldn’t do anything for a sore throat. Also, when the ME did a swab for strep she proceeded to walk me down the hallway with my swab in her hand waving it around. Never seen anything like it. The 2 front desk employees were nice and patient which is why they get 2 stars and not 1.

I really appreciated being able to schedule my appt online and fill out the forms. They started on time for my appt and were efficient, professional and solved my health issue.

This NP was very arrogant and did not help in the slightest. He dismissed my health information a DOCTOR had told me why I’m constantly sick. Told me to go get allergy meds and Sudafed. The last 2 visits as well were HORRIBLE! I did not actually receive help from the last 3 visits and suffering.

My wife recently went to the Nexcare Urgent Care facility in Surprise and the front desk receptionist was extremely rude and disrespectful. She said her name wrong multiple times and after correcting her the 3rd time she just smirked and laughed about it. Won’t be going back there. What a joke. Extremely unprofessional behavior from a healthcare professional.

This facility is clean and welcoming. Staff was wonderful. In town on vacation. I was a walk in, i was in and out fairly fast. I highly recommend NextCare Urgent Care.

Came here for stomach pain waited 2 hours to see the nurse practitioner who gave me a prescription for meds and sent me home. Went to fill the prescription and pharmacist advised the medicine was not something that should have been prescribed to me at all & could only make things worse

Entire staff was great. My Nurse Practitioner was excellent. She listened to me completely and asked questions to get the whole story. She explained treatment plan clearly. Medication order was sent immediately to my pharmacy. Be sure to book appointments online first. Easy to do.

Great visit. Didn’t know if I could get in Sunday morning but not hard to do. Everyone was so nice and I got what I needed so fast.

The NextCare team is great. From the time of checking in to triage and then being seen. I recommend the Surprise location on Mountain View any day or time.

I had an appointment at 11:12 am and didn’t see the Nuse Practioner who provided excellent care until after 12.

While the staff were all very nice an apologetic, when you make an appointment, you should not have to wait 3 hours after you arrive. I was in the room for just over an hour, I had to look out to make sure everyone didn’t leave. So while I appreciate the service and I like the doctor and staff. My time is valuable too and this is unacceptable. I’ve been there before and did not experience this problem so if youre running that far behind, don’t take additional appointments and tell people how long the wait is when you walk in the door!.

Any time I have gone to Next Care in Surprise it has always been a great visit (even though Im not feeling great). You can tell that they care and are very knowledgeable. From the Doctors, Nurse practitioners, MAs...always treated with great kindness and that Im important, not just some random patient.

I have used this facility three separate times. All three times treatments were given and successful outcomes. Practitioners are very professional and very friendly and seem to care. The front desk is not quite as efficient as it could be but they have an app which makes it very easy to make appointments. Only one time did I have to wait and that was during flu season. Suggest making an appointment for reduced wait time.

Really like this facility. Usually have a short wait, and very pleasant staff. When I can’t get into my pco I come here and am treated well

All personnel were very friendly and helpful, Id definitely return and also recommend friends and family to visit if they have any urgent matters.

The staff from the receptionist to the MA and the PA-C was all very nice, had great customer service and also great hospitality…thank you guys for all your hard work

Brian is an amazing. caring, and friendly provider. He explained everything thing and had a plan. One of the best medical experiences I have had. Make sure you book an appointment because they do get a lot of walk in traffic.

The overall experience was good. The staff was friendly, professional and easy going. Wait time was acceptable. The PA visit was good but I did have one issue. I was diagnosed with an ear infection, was prescribed an antibiotic, we also talked about the bad cough I have and some cough syrup for it. I got the prescription of antibiotic but not the cough syrup, a little disappointed about that.

I realize it was Christmas Eve day, but I waited over 2 hours to be seen. Only 3 people ahead of me and they seemed to have gone in and out efficiently enough. PA was nice enough, he should have checked my ears, I forgot to ask. He basically checked my breathing/chest which I was concerned about. I have been to other urgent care facilities and have never waited that long.

This place is EFFICIENT, TIMELY, amazing COMMUNICATION and customer service. I drive 30 min just to go here.

Dr was not very friendly had to make him come in to the room asking why I brought my kid in after it only being sick a few hrs. Gee if he looked at the chart wouldve seen underlying concerns such as asthma 🙄. Then I have been trying to get through because they never sent the 1 only script he would put it. Now its closed still no answer ever and have to worry about my kid not having her meds and were 3 hrs from home

2nd time in and services and care were outstanding. Michele and Brian make a great medical team.I didnt get the young ladies name at the front desk. She was thorough and pleasant.

From when I walked in, to when I left. The staff was super friendly, comforting and helpful. I was an emotional wreck. And they made me feel so much better. 100% compassionate with what I was going through. Definitely would go back.

I am not one to write many reviews but in this case I feel obligated to share my experience in hopes of maybe helping other people seek better care elsewhere. As a doctor with my own practice for 27 years, I know a thing or two about what a patient expects and deserves when seeking medical attention.Walked in at 6:30pm with cellulitis, well before the facility was closing (8pm), Check in staff was rude and bothered. Lobby was packed. Waited over 1.5 hrs. Triage was also bothered and inexperienced. Did not ask about current meds in last 24 hrs or share vitals, brought us to treatment room without a word and closed the door.Waited another 15 minutes. Seen by a nurse, no doctor on duty. Very cocky with no bedside manner, no caring or compassion whatsoever. Did not listen to a word I said, started making his assessment before hearing the history of present illness, even said he was in a rush to go home and see his family since it was after closing.Gave all WRONG medical advice, well below the standard of care, not once - but all 4 TIMES.  Prescribed 2 antibiotics which cover the same bacteria, said he was going to prescribe steroids (which actually suppress the immune system, then didn’t Rx them, maybe once he looked it up, but did not communicate this to me), said an antibiotic I used does not treat staph when it definitely does as it is used for pre operative ortho prophylaxis, and said that there are no facial lymph nodes when there are several. NOT AT ALL QUALIFIED OR TRUSTWORTHY.Luckily I knew better than to do anything he said. Going to my regular doctor the next morning for ACTUAL CARE.  Worst medical experience of my life. WILL NEVER RETURN.

Staff is very unfriendly, The NP was curt and uncaring. I made an appointment, asked right away if they did IV fluuds as I was very dehydrated , wheezing, and had a severe headache and fever. I was told that they did so after waiting feeling miserable the NP informed me that I should be going to the ER instead and acted put out . People came in and complained because they dont answer the phones. And they werent that busy theyre just slow. Certainly not a hurry to treat anyone. If you are sick and want caring staff run from this place!

When I arrived at the facility, the Intake Representative Katrina was extremely helpful to me with the electronic data entry on my iPhone.Then FNP Anthony Marchelli was extremely helpful and professional when diagnosing my medical condition and treatment. He spent as much time as was needed and I did not feel rushed as I have in other urgent-care facilities.I would recommend NextCare Surprise to anyone needing immediate medical attention.My thanks to Katrina and Anthony.

The front desk staff, the nurse, and the PA-C that helped us today were absolutely phenomenal!! Very friendly, very helpful, very concerned. I’ve never had an experience like this at any other urgent care facility in any state! I’m totally floored, and exceedingly grateful! You guys are awesome!!

Horrible experience. As a medical professional myself, the reason for my visit required immediate triage, yet I didnt receive any medical attention for almost 2hrs, not even vitals. Scary and unacceptable!

First impressions are so important when you need medical care. The ladies at the front desk were delightful and welcoming. They were informative about how long the wait would be and courteous to let us wait in our car, and called us to come in when it was our turn. The Medical Assistant is the only reason I didn’t give a five star review. She was not friendly, even with my six year old. She didn’t tell me(the parent) what his vital signs were, and quickly ushered us to the exam room. The doctor was kind, quick, and got us what we needed.

My visit was fairly quick! The PA who helped me was great!

Came in for a UTI - I was seen very quickly which was great. Nurse Marchelli - was rude and condescending. He was speaking to me as though I don’t know my own body. I won’t return to this location even though it’s half a mile from my home.

If I could give them a 0 I would. The front office staff were not helpful at all. I made an appointment online and they said that my insurance was accepted. I show up there and they said i needed to pay $150 to be seen. My card clearly states no copay for urgent care, I even called my insurance there in the office and they refused to talk to them. My insurance sent me a letter explaining benefits with todays date and offered to call the staff there and they said “no we don’t know our number it goes to the main line” I asked if they talk with my cell phone and they said “no I don’t use personal phones” I said could you please call the number on the back of my insurance and they said “no we don’t call insurances to verify anymore” they were not empathetic, helpful or caring and should not be in the health care profession with sick people.

The worst doctor Ive ever seen on 59 years old and he treated me like a kid I will never go back as long as hes there.

This was my first visit. I made my appointment on line. I was greeted right away. I saw Sogol Elam PAC. She is amazing. She listened to my symptoms, ordered my labs and was a delight. She is very thorough & down to earth. I asked her if she had her own practice, sadly she does not.The nurses were also very pleasant and helpful with my questions. I’m so glad I found this office!

Came for a walk-in at 3:45. No one there. Came for a urine test / blood draw. Now 50 minutes later (and counting) still not done. There was no one there. Slow slow slow. Even with one provider this is crazy slow. There are like 3-5 other people working there! If there were other patients to see, plan on 2+ hrs for them to check your temperature. Won’t come back.

Unprofessional, the physician assistant sat on the counter in the exam room. Explained to him that I have an ear ache and sinus problems. He did not check my throat or nose. Nothing was done to help.

The physician was immediately speaking to me about ppl using urgent care as their primary physician. That is not my case. I am coughing terribly and could not get in to see my Dr for a week. I just needed help prior to my Dr.s appt. He also told me I should change Dr.s

I went to this location because it’s the closest one to my house. I had a great experience! Alex at the front counter was very welcoming, friendly and informative. There was literally no one in the waiting area. The nurses and doctor were very efficient.

This location is absolute garbage. I’ve come here SO MANY times, to yet be turned AWAY bc they can’t give the bare minimum care or they can’t get the right diagnosis for just a cold. I came in at 2:30 asked to be seen they said they are held at capacity with NOT A SINGLE SOUL in the waiting room. This place is nothing but a let down. I will NOT ever be coming back to this location. Cmon and DO BETTER!! Now I have to wait 3 days past Christmas just to be seen. Thanks. Don’t recommend for people who want their hands of unprofessional medical team that does the absolute bare minimum for those who genuinely are sick and seeking help.

Was there for nearly 2 hours just for a strep test. Was then asked by the PA what I wanted to be prescribed and proceeded to prescribe Mucinex for a dry cough. They also never even looked at my ears, which is one of the basic steps, especially for a cold. I could also hear a worker in the hall talking about patients, patient tests, and how she forgot what room the patient was in. Overall felt very unprofessional and would not recommend to anybody ever.

We arrived the staff was friendly, quick with processing paperwork. We were in the back room the assistant came in was awesome cleaned up my daughters head brought her a popsicle to help. The doctor came in and explained what was going to be done, friendly and caring.

If I were allowed to give them a zero, I would. They allowed me to make an online appointment, and when I got there, they told me I had to do a virtual visit in the waiting room because they had no providers. While waiting, a woman came in with her child for an x-ray. Although it says the do them on their website, they dont. Had I known I had to do virtual, I would have stayed at home in my pjs. Never spoke to a provider. Ridiculous. I will NEVER go there again.

I called them ahead of time and asked specifically if they did Valley Fever testing, the lady assured me they did my appointment was at 4:00. At 5:30 I was informed they did not do that test. Not happy.

I went to NextCare on a walk in basis. The front desk staff greeted me in a friendly, professional manner. They gave me forms to complete. I completed forms and immediately was called back to see Brian Eggin, NP. I don’t think I waited in the exam room for more than 5 minutes before he came in. He was friendly, compassionate and competent. I informed him of my symptoms, he asked me a few questions, reviewed my history, and in a matter of minutes, I was done.They sent my prescriptions to Walmart then we called and found out Walmart pharmacy now closes at 7 PM most days. It was already 7 so I would have had to wait until the next day to get my prescriptions. My daughter ran back in and asked if they would give her paper copies of my prescriptions. I felt so terrible that I wanted to start my meds ASAP. Although the clinic was also about to close they gladly complied and provided her with my prescriptions. I was able to go to a drive thru pharmacy and get my meds in a matter of a few minutes. It helped me immensely being able to start my meds last night. I took my first dose of antibiotics last night. I am already feeling a little better this morning.I wish I remembered the name of the two other staff on duty because all 3 of them made my experience there so pleasant. I give them all a score of a perfect 10!I was a RN for 32 years and had to medically retire. Believe me, if I get subpar care I will complain in a heartbeat! So often I am appalled by how unprofessional staff at medical facilities are! I am so happy to report that this time I received excellent care! I wish I could get great care like this every time I have to go in for medical care!

Inept, incompetent, uncaring, and unprofessional.I went there this morning and saw Brian Foli. Once telling him my symptoms, he told me he would write me a couple of prescriptions. He asked what Pharmacy I used and I told him Walgreens on R. H. Johnson Blvd. in Sun City West.Several hours, later, I called Walgreens and was told they hadnt received any prescriptions for me. I went back to NextCare Urgent and explained what Walgreens told me. (that was after calling them and being on hold for half an hour. When I walked in nobody was on the phone) She took the prescription paperwork in the back and when she came back, she told me they had sent it to Walgreens.A couple of hours, later, I called Walgreens and was told they still hadnt received any prescriptions for me.I went back to NextCare and told the girl at the desk what was going on. She went in the back and brought me out a printed prescription. This was my third time there, today.After waiting in line at Walgreens for half an hour, I explained to the clerk what was going on and handed her the printed out prescription. She looked at them and told me she thought both of the prescriptions were over-the-counter products. She checked with the Pharmacist and, indeed, both of the items were over-the-counter products. I could have gone to any pharmacy and bought the items. However, nobody, not the FNP Foli or anyone else at NextCare ever bothered to inform me that the items were, other that Prescriptions medicines.What a bunch of uncaring and incompetent morons.I hope there is a place on Facebook I can post this.

Dr. Ash was amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed to get well. The office staff was friendly and courteous. The lobby and exam rooms were clean and staff was seen disinfecting surfaces.

I was very pleased with my experience from start to finish. After filling out information, I waited in the car for a call. The nurse was very friendly and efficient (Michelle), and the P.A., Kyle Dubay, was also efficient and knowledgeable about solutions. Checkout information was also good and the time involved was pretty good. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend them.

Urgent care is never a pleasant experience unless you go here ! The care level , the timeliness of appointments and the overall experience is five star! I will never go anywhere else for my health care needs of this type . I would definitely recommend. Dr Ash and staff are amazing . Thank you .

I’ve used this location twice in the same week now as my daughter came down with strep over the weekend and we were nervous my son had it today. We were able to book quick appointments and though we had different staff both days they were all equally caring.

So made an appointment and was early to my appointment and still took over an hour to see my kid for a physical that took 5 min and he wasnt even thorough with the exam. We have had sport physicals before and this whole trip was a waste of time never again will I go back .

I am pretty happy with this Urgent Care. I have always had my problems addressed here and taken care of for myself and both of my wonderful daughters. It might be luck, but I have never been turned away for any reason. Before I started coming to Urgent Care I was very skeptical about it being disease ridden and packed with the threats of spreading illnesses. With this location it is calm and at peace and I feel comfortable and safe. In fact I probably shouldny even be giving this review in fear that people will like my review and start going here more. But the thing is...is that I have a heart for others, all the staff has been respectful and they certainly without a doubt deserve my review.🤮+Urgent Care=😀

Amazing Nurse I had today (8/28/22) Around noon!! She was so compassionate and her sense ofEmpathy was just amazing. The NP was very thorough and kind. Great overall fast care! Which you don’t see often at urgent cares. :)

After waiting over an hour and still three patients ahead of me at a different urgent care, I went on the NextCare website and was able to make an appointment that was within 15 minutes. When I arrived, I was checked in and was seen 15 minutes later as scheduled. The PA who saw me was great and I got the card I needed. I will definitely go straight to NextCare in the future!

I was told a prescription was being sent in to Waddell and litchfield today. Walgreens. Never sent!!

I setup an appointment online, was a bit late (6 minutes) due to traffic but was still seen in a timely manner. The NP did what I would have done in the same situation. The front office staff was super nice. I was again ruled out for Covid and Flu but have a cold 🥶 thats kicking my bottom. I know Ill be feeling better in a couple days.

Had to do a yearly physical for work. Scheduling am appointment online was easy. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I would go to this office again for care.

I have been using this urgent care since my children were younger so I would say for about well over 10 years we have seen Dr. Stephen Ash call almost every single time we’ve been there. He is an amazing physician very thorough, takes his time with each visit I’ve never left the office frustrated or like we weren’t diagnosed and treated with me or my children . Highly recommended to his patient care and staff !

Reception staff was exceptionally friendly,,caring & informative, everything you could ask for. Medical staff was caring & efficient. Was visiting from out of state & they treated my wound/injury, prescribed antibiotics & my out of state/ network insurance covered half cost 👍. Very satisfied

Went to the Surprise location on Wednesday morning and they prescribed my husband medication. It is now Friday and they still have not sent prescription to the pharmacy. When he calls he gets put on hold for 20 minutes and then the call gets disconnected. Finally got through to a call center and they said they would flag my chart for the Dr. to send the prescription, still nothing.

Tony is a great NP. He was very welcoming and personable. All my questions were answered by him with attentiveness and support. Highly recommend.

We came in the evening they were still open the staff was friendly and knowledgeable had us in and out fast, if were ever in need of a urgent care we will go back to Next Care.

This is the urgent care I always go to. I’m in and out in less than an hour each time. My questions are always answered and they take great care of not only my needs, but also my two daughters.

Easy to get to, clean, efficient and dr Bryan was extremely helpful.

I made an appointment online. EASY!! The instructions had the directions attached. EASY!! I completed the paperwork online.. EASY!! When I showed up, i was seen within 10 minutes of my appointment time. I was in and out in about 30 minutes from the time I arrived to the time I left. Loved it. I have been to atleast 5 urgent cares and they were the easiest, humble/kind, and fastest!! Love it!!

I have been going to get my DOT Physicals here for the past couple years and I have to say that the guys in front when you check in are great. Very friendly and make the process very easy. Dr Ash is by far the best in the business and I would recommend him for any medical need. This is by far the best office I have visited and would recommend this office for anything you might need. Thank You to the staff at the facility y’all are the best.

It must be employees leaving those stars. I’d deduct 1,000. Very unprofessional staff that turns down accepted insurance and too lazy to call and verify. Candy should be ashamed. You turned down a nurse with 100% coverage with ability to refer this place and the ability to tell her patients to stay away.

Went there April 2022 and had some tests. I paid,in full but when I got home to Canada I received a bill for the entire amount again. I tried to call the number but was on hold for over an hour both times. I finally sent a registered letter which was costly. The attending doctor sent me to the hospital which was hugely expensive. I could have had the scan at several local clinics. with quicker and cheaper results. I also had a huge wait for my scheduled appointment. I am not going back.

The staff at Next Care was friendly and very helpful. Dr. Ash was so careful about what he was prescribing me that he asked me the same question four different times to make sure that I could take the medicine he wanted to prescribe me. He asked easy to understand questions which made me comfortable speaking with him. he really listened to my answers, and didn’t make snap decisions as to what was going on with me. The whole experience made me feel cared for and safe.

Took my son in for his sports physical, the experience was amazing! Quick sign up online and checking in via the website was even easier. Staff and Dr. Were very polite, professional and attentive. Documents were completed online for a speedy process, in and out in less than 20 minutes. I highly recommend this location.

In all honesty, I have a hard time believing that any of them have degrees. I have been to multiple places like so and can’t say the same; let alone ever felt this way. I was walked in on getting undressed in front of the main office, seconds after being told to undress, no knock, nothing. The doctor walked out to grab things multiple times before the procedure. Not to mention during, asked “wait do we have this?” Following with the response of “No um..” How does that make anyone comfortable.10/10 just wasn’t the greatest experience. Yes I understand that you have plenty of things going on which is absolutely understandable. But next time please be more professional. Glad I was able to be seen, but definitely not returning to this location.

This was my 1st visit at this urgent care. I made an appointment on their website which is very convenient. I was checked in by Eric, Miguel took my history and vitals and Mark the PA saw me in the exam room. All 3 gentleman were great, efficient and professional. The suite itself was very clean and nicely decorated. I was in and out in 25 minutes. Great experience and Ill definitely be back if needed.

This facility went above and beyond to make arrangements for me to get Xrays for an injury on a Sunday, after I told them I work out of town and it would be difficult for me to get them done on another day. Due to past experience, I generally do not expect much from any medical facility, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. From the ease of scheduling an appointment to the attentiveness of the physician, it was an unexpectedly wonderful experience. Thank you!

I have been to this location several times. I have made appointments in advance and have also rushed one of our kiddos here when they were having a severe asthma attack. This place has been great to me and my family. The unfortunate thing is that over the last 2 years I have seen the doctors here more than at my primary care physicians practice which now has locations all over the valley. How is that I have been a patient at a particular practice for over 16 years and now when I call to make an appointment they don’t have openings (even with a PCP or NP) for days? I called my regular doctor’s office this morning for a severe ear pain and soar throat and my answer was “sorry, you can see someone on Monday.” I knew NextCare would take care of me and they did. I got an antibiotic for an ear infection. I’m still frustrated that I see urgent care docs more than anyone who works at my regular doctor’s office. What a joke.

This urgent care facility is great! Dealing with Covid symptoms I was nervous about how the visit would go. After making my appointment online, I called them and they handled things better than expected. No interaction with other patients and they had me in and out. Eric and the PA, Kevin were knowledgeable, respectful and kind. I left feeling understood and confident in the care I had received. Highly recommend!

They advise to call and make sure they have certain vaccines available before your appointment. I sat on hold for 60 minutes before deciding to hang up because Im currently working. Not sure why they cant answer the phones 🤔

My family had the absolute worst experience!! We took our 1 year old here because he had a rash on his stomach and our pediatrician was closed due to the holiday. Without even looking at the rash, the provider freaked out and said it’s hand food mouth disease (which the rash wasn’t even present on his hands, feet, or mouth). We asked her to look again and she said she basically didn’t need to. Then told us he has a double ear infection and she wanted to test him for strep throat. We questioned him having strep because his throat wasn’t bothering him and he was eating and drinking fine. They still decided to take a “sample” which they couldn’t even properly take. We went to our pediatrician the next day and they told us it was a heat rash and that he did NOT have any type of ear infection. And at the end of our visit, the front office couldn’t even figure out how much we owed. I’m now calling our insurance to make sure we didn’t over pay because they couldn’t even add 80+20 correctly while we were there. I will absolutely not ever take my family to this place again. All they want is your money and they don’t even examine the issue you came for!

I gave location 4 stars and only because If you make an appointment there’s a wait due to Covid & flu season so be prepared to wait at least an hour over your scheduled time. Other than that the service was great! The PA Ferschke had bedside manners and got right to the point. Her nurse was nice as well.

While the PA was amazing, I will definitely not be back. Coming in as a follow up appointment from the week before, I was told I had to wait outside (in 100°+ weather) or in the lobby next door due to my symptoms. What would have happened had I passed out sitting over there all alone? It was absolutely humiliating and degrading. I have been to countless doctors offices over the course of the pandemic and have NEVER been treated as horribly as I was at this clinic. I could *maybe* understand if I refused to wear a mask, but the fact that a) we already knew I was NOT sick with covid or the flu, b) I was happily wearing my mask and c) there was ample room in their waiting room for social distancing, that kind of treatment was absolutely unnecessary and uncalled for. Youre a medical facility for people who are sick. Do better.

I was able to create an appointment online for the same day. They were fast, thorough and patient with my kiddos. I felt like my child was cared for and they listened to him and myself.

Was taken almost immediately with my appointment. Given tests and results in a very timely way. Got to the bottom and discussed solutions.

I came here on Monday for my sisters sports physical, and everyone was amazing! I understand there can be longer than usual wait times, but they handled it very professionally. The provider that we saw was absolutely amazing! Thank you, will be here again!

T today was the first day I actually needed their facility and I was really impressed with their friendliness and professionalism. This was an A+ experience. The entire staff (receptionist, nurse, and PA) were very pleasant and very helpful. Juan Miranda, PA was very patient and answered all of our questions. The facility was very comfortable and sterile.

I was able to fill out almost all of the paperwork online. Just had 2 additional papers once I got there. The wait was just minutes before I got called back. Making the appointment online was easy too. The staff was polite, knowledgeable and helpful.

Amazing experience from the front office staff, the Drs assistant and the Dr Sophie. We went in for a school physical and I was so impressed with how nice and great the care was, I did a walk in appointment for myself with an issue. Definitely will recommend!

Wish I could give a negative star. This is the worse urgent care. The front staff was unprofessional and rude. They were gossiping the whole time. I did not have a good experience.

Doctor was OK but not too pleased with assistant and whatever she had on her lip then contaminating it to our paper work by touching it and touching everything else after. Really grossed me out! I’m not sure why she wasn’t wearing a mask and gloves.

Had to wait just over an over to see Doctor, but once I was in, I was evaluated right away. We are from out of town so thankful they were able to see me and run my labs. Staff was attentive. Several people came in while I was waiting wanting xrays and they dont provide so you will need to go somewhere else.

This was our 3rd visit to this location and have been impressed each time. My first visit was for stitches on my knuckle, when I saw Dr Ash, who was gentle, professional and personable.Our second was for my husband, he saw Dr Levine, who was also great. He ran necessary tests and took steps accordingly.Our third visit last night was back to me. I saw Dr. Levine whom I found professional concerning and gentle . I loved that although he just saw my husband the week before, he did not assume I caught what he had and treated me as an individual.A special thanks to John the medical tech was equally, concerning, professional and very gentle. I am fearful of shots, but John did a great job. He checked on me often while waiting for swab results.I found the entire facility to be organized. I have found all three visits with entirely different criteria to have positive results. From walking in almost at closing for stitches, there was no attitude nor did they rush because it was late. They followed up on my husbands lab work. I Am VERY pleased. Thanks to all.

The last time I went to an urgent care I had a terrible experience so I was apprehensive about going again. The office staff was fast and friendly. The PA listened to me, explained why he was treating my son a certain way and luckily the antibiotic prescribed for his ear infection also covers pneumonia so the provider didnt need to perform a chest xray. He was good about ensuring us that we were doing the right thing. Even though he knew I am also in the medical field he didnt just assume I knew everything. Great experience!

Brought my 11 year old son in for X-rays fearing a broken finger. Got here at 0800 on a Tuesday. Best time ever if there’s ever a best time to be treated for something. NOBODY in the waiting area.Receptionist was very nice. The nurse doing son’s vitals was also very kind and friendly toward him. Our PAC was professional friendly informative and made my son feel at ease.All told between xrays and everything..In and out in less than :45.

Bed side manner sucks, from checkin staff to the medical provider. I dont normally leave reviews but I couldnt let me experience today go without letting others know.I wont be coming back here.

I wasn’t feeling good this morning and the next appt was till 1040am. I walked in, (at 830am) asked if they were taking walk ins. I was in and out within 45min. Had a strep test and COVID test done and now awaiting for results. Front desk, assistant and PA were all professional.

Staff is all really nice which is hard to find these days. The medical assistant has always been nice, anytime I’ve been here.The provider though seemed more afraid of me rather than concerned with helping me, wearing a mask and a shield, that’s overkill for me. I unfortunately can’t get into my pcp for a month so this was my last resort. Ever since people got covid drs don’t even treat you… I am not sick or contagious nor do I have a fever but I’ve been in a lot of pain for several days and I just felt like he had no idea what was actually wrong with me. Wonder where the old provider went, he was foreign, and he was wonderful.

The staff was friendly, the waiting room was clean and the wait wasnt too long. I do think the provider I saw was newer because she really didnt seem to know what was going on with me and just sent in some meds in hopes they work and told me to see my PCP or a Dermatologist so that was a down fall. I also dont recommend signing in online like they asked because I sat in my car for 15 mins after checking in and then walked in because Noone called and thats when I was actually checked in and filled out the papers (she also didnt give me a clip board lol so the papers were hard to fill out). Over all quick simple visit and hopefully the meds that did get called in will help.
