Really great experience here. Only a few people were before us when we went there around 6:30pm. The Lobby is really pretty, well decorated, and it’s very peaceful, they offer snacks, water bottles, and some K-cups coffee. All that was a nice touch, and the comfortable chairs. We were in the lobby about 35 mins, enough time for me to go across the street to DQ to get us some food. They didn’t mind us eating in the lobby while we continued to waited to be seen. When we got a room, it was delightfully decorated and some really cool art work drawn on the walls. The Doctor (he’s in some pictures from other people) is really down to earth with great bed side manners. He’s very informative, and interested in what our problem is. We got X-rays, and he even showed them to us explaining what he was looking for in great detail. He was funny, cracked a few jokes, and we all laughed a little. He put us at ease. Well worth going there again, if we need urgent care in the future.
Made an appointment. Front desk not friendly when arriving. Lobby was full and I was told since we had a scheduled appointment, that we would be priority before others, and we were next. One hour later and 4 people being called, we finally were called - in the exact order of arrivals - appointment completely useless. Would not recommend wasting your time here. Save yourself having to deal with the runaround and rude front of house.
They charge you over $100 for a short questionnaire and will not inform you that you will be charged. I went there for a covid test, not to be questioned about my mental health and be charged over $100 dollars for 12 questions. The PA I saw didn’t even do an exam and charged me for the highest office visit they possibly could and she spent 2 mins with me. Was not friendly, seemed disgusted that I had Covid. If you come here make sure you do not do the mental health questionnaire or you will be charged.
We came in last minute for my three year old and it was a great experience! The staff was both quick and so kind to my little guy. The PA-C Trey Terrell had us taken care of and on our way in 30 minutes!
I visited this location on 9/28/2024 for a cough. Everything went “okay” that day. It was a very impersonal visit from the start of the visit to the end. It FELT like urgent care. The front desk asked everyone in a not-so-private manner what they were coming in to be seen. Everyone was asked that question verbally at the check in window. The guy who took me to the back did not say much other than to instruct me to step on a scale and to tell me my blood pressure results. He never introduced himself. The provider was friendly. He listened to my lungs and prescribed me a bottle of antibiotics for bronchitis and a bottle of Polytussin. No other tests were conducted. Well, here it is Tuesday and I don’t feel any worse but I am still barking pretty much the same way I was when I visited this location this past Saturday. I called the clinic at the Sherwood location on 10/1 at 6:12 pm. A lady named Cara answered the phone. I am not certain if this is her real name or the correct spelling. I told her that I was still coughing badly. I asked her if the meds that I was given were effective because I didn’t feel any better. She placed me on hold and returned to tell me that I was prescribed cough medicine and that if I felt worse then I could reschedule a visit. I asked her at what point should I follow up. She said it was at my discretion. I am not sure at what point during the conversation that warranted “Cara” to hang up in my face, but she did. I called back to inquire about her name and the name of the office manager. She told me there wasn’t an office manager, but I could call Emily at the Maumelle location. I attempted to speak with Cara as an adult and shared with her that I was ill and that it wasn’t proper to speak with patients in such a manner. She literally raised her voice at me, interrupted me, again, and rudely told me that she was not having this conversation with me and that I needed to speak with Emily. And she hung up in my face. Again. I have NEVER been treated so rudely by a health clinic. My mom heard the conversation and we both were in shock that someone who we assumed was a professional who works in healthcare, could be so rude to a patient. I will NEVER visit this location again. Because of that front desk this evening, this entire franchise has lost my trust. I never yelled at her. I didn’t curse at her. Nor did I disrespect her. I am ill and I did not deserve to be treated like that. All I got from this visit was disrespectful treatment, mediocre care, meds that cost me dang near $30, and an expensive bill headed my way. Never again. And I will call Emily.Update: I received a call from Cody with Health Care Express following this review. He was kind, and patient. He demonstrated genuine concern regarding my experience, and whether or not I was feeling better with my condition. It is comforting to know that Healthcare Express values its patients experiences at their clinics. It is because of this that I would be willing to pay them another visit when needed.
I usually have good results at this location; today was different. When I scheduled my appointment online this morning, all times were available. I considered this, along with the fact that there was 1 car in the parking lot and 1 other patient in the waiting room, as a good sign that I could get in and out fairly quickly. That has not been the case. My appointment was for 10:20 and I arrived early. It is now 11:00 and still have not seen the provider. When I asked Connie at the front desk, she was rather condescending. I hope this is a one-off situation and their service has not fallen to this level.
Had one of the best medical experiences I’ve had in a long time. The young lady at the front desk was extremely nice which really helps when you are feeling like garbage. The nurse who took me back was also extremely nice and even turned off the lights since I had mentioned I had a horrible headache. Then Dr. Terrell came in to look me over. I always like to give doctors a heads up that I have the worst luck when I get sick, hard to find veins, chest issues, and all of that. Typically in the past I get the “I know more” cut offs from the doctors but not with Dr. Terrell. He really listened and took into consideration the things I had mentioned and even included me in on his thought processes well we waited for the test results to see what ick I had caught. After the results came back he made sure to go over how to take the medication and everything. All around it was a wonderful experience. I feel like when you come into a clinic feeling horrible, then get treated horrible you feel worse than when you came in but here even with my headache and body aches I felt better leaving just from them being so kind and caring.
Everyone was kind and caring from check-in to check-out. I was seen pretty quickly and given thorough examination for diagnosis. I use this clinic regularly when needed and I highly recommend!
I like the heathcare express because it is convenient to where I work first. I appreciate the fact that I dont need an appointment. They doctors are friendly and listen. If you are not feeling well, you dont want to wait two days to a week to see your P C P.
From the time I walked in the staff was very friendly, compassionate and helpful. Corrie at the front desk, John who did the exray and Sherrod who helped wrap my wrist, and Dr. Sonja Martin who talked with me about what I needed to do next and contacted the person who could set me up with an Ortho person for an appointment. I had a great experience there and would recommend them to anyone.
Great experience. They were speedy, efficient and friendly. The PA listened and was very helpful. The whole staff were amazing. I highly recommend this location.
Was a great and surprisingly comfortable experience! Never been to any kind of healthcare place that was so homey looking 😅.Dr was also very understanding and helpful, especially with us not having insurance.
Emily was so helpful and friendly! The staff in the back was also very friendly and took very good care of my daughter after a volleyball injury. Highly recommend!
I walked in without an appointment. Within a reasonable amount of time I was called back to an exam room, given a once over by the nurse. And, was administered a nasal Covid swab. When the tests were concluded the NP came in and gave me the results, Covid. All the stall were well trained and nice.
I normally have a great experience when Ive needed to be seen here. I work at a dental office and its the same hours as my primary care doctor so when I have an urgent need I come here. This time was not a good experience at all. I hurt my back last night and tried everything I could today with no relief. After I got off work I came here hoping to be seen and get answers. There was no one in the lobby and the front desk girl immediately tells me it would be a 2 hour wait. I said okay Ill make an appointment and just wait in the lobby because it hurts too much to get up and down, then she starts saying how she doesnt think they have anyone that can do an x-ray and the doctor couldnt really do anything or prescribe anything. Pretty much telling me they dont want to see me without saying they dont want to see me. I left still in pain and no answers and sat in my car and cried from the pain before I could leave. Im now home in tears and still in pain. I cant handle sitting at the ER for multiple hours so I pray at this point my PCP can get me in tomorrow.
The team at Healthcare Express Urgent Care in Sherwood was excellent! I particularly like their effort to make my visit more efficient by suggesting using digital admission via my cell phone.Once I was seen, they ensured my care was addressed with swift professionalism. I had planned to forgo a follow-on engagement because I assumed my visit would take longer; it didnt and I was able to get to my next engagement on time.Much thanks for your efficiency and professionalism.
Haley who welcomed me was very sweet and helpful. Wonderful representation for the location. The Dr and assistant were efficient. I did have to call the clinic twice the next day to get my prescription sent in , but there could have been tech issues , time of day, who knows. Friendly, clean, efficient and fast. I’d go back.
I waited probably 30 minutes to be called back to a room. After getting my pressure checked, I waited another 20 or more minutes. The doctor came in and that was the shortest part of my stay. The wait was worth it because I am getting better with each dose of medicine. I will continue to use this clinic when I have an emergency.
I’m from Northwest Arkansas and was in town for a tennis tournament when I started feeling symptoms of a UTI. I chose this clinic for convenience to Burns Park. It was great! Fast check in, short wait time and seeing the doctor (PA) was quick.
Went to healthcare Express this morning extremely sick with heat exhaustion. My nurses Emily and Kim and Dr Emily were the best. I have never had anyone take care of me as well as they did. They were all 3 absolutely wonderful. Thank you all so much. Zachary Via 6/27/24.
We just showed up and didnt have a long wait. They were very professional and thorough with my Grandson. Thank you for being friendly too.
Personal attention, short wait times, professional staff, convenient location, on site c-ray and blood tests. We have seen them about 4 times in last 6 months and have been completely satisfied. And each time a prescription has been necessary, our pharmacy has received it and began filling it before we could get there (10 minute drive).
I went in with severe chest pain, only to find out they dont actually do triage. They do 1st come 1st served - unless you have an appointment. I left and went to the nearest Emergency Department.
Went in and didnt have to wait long. The staff were all nice and polite. The whole visit took about an hour.
Very professional, prompt and courteous. The receptionist was warm and welcoming, so was John the nurse and Terrell as the provider.
The staff was super nice and took care of my daughter’s health issue quickly. The appointment was very fast and efficient!
They were very efficient for an urgent care clinic. There was only one person in the waiting area when I arrived and I was seen within about 20 minutes. The longest part of my was waiting for test results from one test that took about 40 minutes. That one test checked for flu, covid, and RSV; who knew they could do all three with one test! Thankfully they were all negative 😊
The Receptionist was friendly and efficient. The Nurse and the PA was very friendly and appeared to be concerned! He was very thorough! I would like to recommend Health Care Express to anyone in need of care!
The doctor was fantastic. She was empathetic, efficient, and knowledgeable. The establishment is so clean and welcoming as well.
We were luckily able to get an early appointment online this morning. Sign in process and registration was very easy. Upon entering, the nice receptionist had made a note to tell me that the pharmacy I chose was actually closed for the day (we are from out of state) and gave me a list of some that were open. We got called back immediately. They were very thorough in testing my daughter. I left with a clear diagnosis and treatment plan. The office staff even called me later that night to make sure I was able to fill my daughter’s prescription. Exceeded my expectations and will definitely return if my family needs medical care.
Friendly and prompt. Physician kind with caring spirit, taking his time to explain results and recommendations on fixing the problem. I received excellent service 😊.
I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. The receptionist was very professional. Holly the MA was very friendly and professional. She made me feel very comfortable. She went over my symptoms, med list and allergies asking if everything was still the same or any changes. She went through the med list with me. She took samples for testing and let me know about how long it would take to get results back. The Physician Assistant was very friendly and professional as well. She explained everything to me and she called in medication to the pharmacy for me and I didn’t have any issues getting the meds. I highly recommend this urgent care. This was my second time going and was never disappointed at either visit. I will choose this one each time.
Great except I arrived on time and had to wait in waiting room with sick people. I made appt for B12 injection. Should have been taken directly back with no wait.
Everyone was so nice and courteous. I waited a little while, but that was to be expected being that others had appointments and I was a walk-in. It’s also expected when the staff takes their time to be attentive to your needs. My prescriptions were called in quickly, which further made my experience here exceptional.
Super friendly staff! Ryan was very welcoming and sweet. From our nurse, the student aide to our doctor, everyone was attentive and in good spirits!
This location is horrible. Visited the location 8/9 and the black lady that seen me did not assist me at all. She mentioned me having something that was not part of my symptoms and she didn’t have any knowledge of my issue and referred me to the hospital. Also I requested a note for work and she refused!
Great experience with front desk, lab and physician. In and out in less than an hour. Efficient and professional.
The staff was very friendly and helpful to any questions I had. The doctor listened to my symptoms, checked me and properly diagnosed me as I began to feel better the same day after taking the medication prescribed to me.
Doc was very knowledgeable, attempted to look at the totality of circumstances not just my presenting issue, highly recommend to others!!
Was an awful experience, they didn’t know what they were doing. Two different people tried to take my blood, one person twice the primary physician once and neither could do it and I wasn’t dehydrated. Should’ve just waited for my primary physician instead of being poked by these jokers. And they would disappear on each other without updating each other so would ask me what the other did and where they went. Just go somewhere else.
Absolutely amazing Dr. Trey is the best of the best along with his staff. Im always well taken care of!!
The doctor and nurse were very friendly and knowledgeable. The girl checking in people was a little distracted. I dont like filling out information on my phone.
Everyone was super friendly. My problem is I sat there and waited hours to be seen! I got there at 8:10ish and I didn’t leave till almost 12! When the doctor came in you could 100% he just wanted me gone! So he did a quick exam and told me allergies. Not only did I have to pay them 150$ to be told it’s allergies… but now I also have to pay a ER visit because I wanted to find out what I actually had! It’s Strep… but you know like most doctors the only true sickness that exists anymore is Covid and the flu!
I completed the paperwork through a link sent to my email, so the wait time wasn’t as long as it could have been. The staff was friendly and took the time to listen and answer ALL of my son’s questions. I don’t know if all Healthcare Expresses are the same, but this one had a wait area that has more of a home feel than a wait room. The check room we were in was painted too. As with all care facilities, payment is needed up front.
The front desk lady was nice but I had an appointment @2:00p got their @1:45p and didn’t walk out til 3:30 sat in the room over an hour and once I asked a lady came in to see me. The guy didn’t swab my nose or throat good. That’s sad I won’t be back.
The waits are long sometimes even with an appointment, but its worth it because Ive never had a bad experience there.
I am a nurse and have seen the inside of many medical buildings, but this was exceptional clean and beautifully decorated. Staff was pleasant, friendly and very efficient.
I have been on multiple occasions and never had a bad experience. My most recent visit was not pleasant. As a walk in we waited an hour and 20 minutes to be called back. When I asked about the wait the lady at the desk stated appointments go first and that Covid results take 45 mins. I just don’t agree with their business practice at this point and surely there is a better solution. The front desk clerk wasn’t rude but wasn’t friendly. The PA was great, treated my daughter quickly and called in her prescription quickly. I’m disappointed in the walk in process they have gone to. Will not go back without an appointment.
Came in late (about closing time) after long ordeal with the VA, I was seen almost immediately Dr was nice and respectful wich is a big deal if you see alot of Drs you know what I mean.it was free as Im a vet, they handled paperwork just like a regular Dr appointment. I was very impressed wich is saying something. Didnt cure me but they did there best, which is all I ask. In conclusion I would take my whole family there if need be so to me thats about as 5 star a as you get
Everyone was very nice and caring, but thought it odd that the facility did not provide face masks 😷 with a bunch of coughing patients in the waiting room.My frustration came when I was told my prescription would be called in and I needed to look up a local pharmacy to give them an address. I checked with pharmacist when I first got there and they told me the prescription was not ready yet. (I had shown them my paperwork). Then after walking around for an hour I went to check again, they told me the prescription was NEVER called in. Sick and so frustrating. You should make it routine before the patient leaves, to have the prescription called in, to better help your sick patients get their medications in a timely manner.
Very satisfied with the service overall. Great staff!
Excellent care, professional, polite. Facilities Excellent. Quickly seen and diagnosed. Wish I could use as my primary care
They were fast and so nice! The whole experience was great!
Very clean, professional and attentive. However, the wait once called out of the waiting room was a bit much. Three different people came in to conduct three different tasks before the PA came in to see me. I was in the exam room for 50 minutes, 35 of that was waiting for the PA after the last tech did what she needed to do. 1st person....med history, 2nd person... Blood pressure, 3rd person..... PA trainee....initial diagnosis. Then 35 min to see PA. My only complaint is not about the care....simply need to streamline your back of the house processes
Walked in for acute problem, was seen promptly and Dr JMartin addressed issue concisely, professionally, and appropriately. Ancillary staff also personable and efficient. Left within the hour and condition improving rapidly.
Terrible service today sat in there for a hour and a half, in the span of that time only one person was called. The person working the front desk showed no sympathy and seemed to not care as she would get in her phone several times. Absolutely zero communication Do better!!
The staff and doctor was great. They were very attentive. Because of their efficiency the wait time was short.I hope I’m never sick again and my primary care doctor is unavailable but If I have to choice a clinic it will definitely be this one.
My name is Linda Howell and I use Healthcare Express Urgent Care because they are polite, knowledgeable and efficient. I use them more than my family doctor because they are close by and not across the county. My grandson who lives out of town was seen by them and took great care of his needs. I highly recommend them to anyone.
I love the Sherwood and Maumelle location they treat you with so much respect, quick and efficient. They get you in and out with a smile.
The check in process was terrible. My appointment was at 2:30pm and I was not called back to an exam room until 4pm. There was not many people at this clinic so I should not have had to wait to so long. Once I got into an exam room things went pretty quickly.
Making an appointment on line is a great way not to have to wait a long period of time to be seen. Doesnt mean you dont wait some. So far, my husband and I, have a great results with the clinic, staff and doctors. We have been taken good care of.
They were friendly and professional!! Great service!! Will be back if needed!
My experience with Healthcare Express Sherwood, AR was very positive. Front desk receptionist was well prepared and efficient and able to handle the paperwork for a third party insurance claim. The Med Tech Assistant that took my vitals was also the x-ray tech who imaged my hand injury and was very proficient. Sonja Martin, APRN, did the exam and initial x-ray reading and was experienced, thorough, and kind. I will certainly go there again, if needed.
The nurse and PA were both so nice, efficient and attentive to my needs. If the occasion arises again I’ll come here!
Loved the staff and the environment…they were fast, courteous, and friendly.
Healthcare Express in Sherwood has always been quick and straightforward about diagnosing patients. They were able to provide my baby boy 👦 with the medical attention he urgently needed due to no answer from the doctor’s office (busy lines). Thank GOD they were able to support me with how to properly care for my child back to good health and where to go next if things took a turn for the worse. This place actually has medical professionals that love ❤️ what they do!!!! They have my highest recommendation….
I choose this urgent care because of the good reviews I seen on google. However, I was disappointed by the service I received. The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and so was the nurse. My problem was with the actually doctor. She was very dismissive of my concerns. She seemed to get offended the more I asked questions. I asked for additional test and it’s almost like she blew me off. Which I didn’t appreciate as I am in between insurances and had to self pay. I did call and make a complaint and I’m currently waiting for the outcome. As a person of color, I always have to advocate for myself but it’s gets tiring. I was really expecting better from this clinic.
Was great with everything very helpful and understanding and was caring and patient thanks for all the help
Very fast!!! Resolved my issue quickly. Have used them for a couple if years now with no bad experiences.
I made an appointment. Waited 10 minutes past my appointment time. Wasn’t bad . The Nurse and Dr was nice and knowledgeable. They end up sending me over to the emergency room.Because they didn’t have the capability to do CT scan. Will use them again .
Customer service was great from the front desk to the patient rooms. Only thing Id change is not so long of a wait but was worth it.
I’ve used the clinic a lot since it’s so hard to get an appointment on the base. Every time it is so easy and fits my schedule. Everyone who works there is kind caring and amazing at what they do. Only thing I can maybe say bad is the don’t use the Solv website anymore. All and all amazing place that I will continually use as needed!!
So thankful for an urgent care facility that makes it feel more like visiting a family practice. We made an appointment online and got right in upon arrival. The facility itself was welcoming and comfortable. The staff were all accommodating and helpful. My daughter got the care she needed in a timely manner and they were able to draw blood easily with no tears (which is a big accomplishment for her). Highly recommend this Healthcare Express!
Everyone I came in contact with was super nice and helpful. The facility was clean and organized. I felt like I received good care in a timely manner. Definitely recommend.
Friendly staff. Usually dont have to wait very long after your appointment. Easy to schedule appointment on line. Great care.
Weve used this urgent care facility a handful of times and Ive been very pleased with the level of care weve received. In fact, I usually prefer to go here instead of our PCP because of the availability of same day appointments and the level of care we receive. I find the pricing to be accurate and fair. But what I really feel needs recognition is the level of dignity and respect that my child with special needs received on our last visit. He was spoken to like an actual human being and received appropriate medical treatment. This is sadly something that is not always done at most facilities. Ive always advocated for my child to be treated fairly and am always on guard to fight for him. I did not have to do that here. From the person who checked us in, the person who took initial information, and the PA who assessed and treated him, every single one were kind, compassionate, and had my childs well being of top priority. We were in and out in no time and Im just so grateful for the care we have received.God Bless.
A long wait but wasn’t an emergency, but the nurse and practitioner were very nice and treated me well
We were there 45 mins before our appt time, checked in and on the premises. The app said there was one person ahead of us yet we didn’t get back in a room until 45 mins after our appt time. We finally got back to a room and more waiting—there over 3.5 hours with 3 sick babies and left $500 poorer with no answers. I’ve always felt like the staff was dismissive but when I bring in one of my kids with some wild story or claim of illness, despite how well they appear, I expect to be heard. I understand we live in a world of drug seekers and folks who run to the doctor for every little thing, but in no way am I one of them and expect the benefit of the doubt. Furthermore, 3+ hours is just a long time. It was bad enough with 3 kids, two of which ran 104-106.2 fever right before coming in (thank God for Motrin) and one being a baby. At least the place was clean but I was very under impressed by the everything else.
Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely return.
Not a long wait and the staff took the time to ask and answer questions.
They will charge your account with no notice, months after the visit. I understand signing the document saying that we assume any remaining balance not paid by insurance, but you should make the patient aware they owe money before dipping your hands into their checking accounts. Very shady. No wonder theyre being shut down right and left.
I quickly received medical care. Staff was very friendly, good listeners, and caring. Doctor confirmed problem and sent prescription to requested pharmacy. I will go there again.
I needed to get tested for flu and covid today and my PCP wouldnt get me in so I called here and it was fantastic. I love how everything is electronic and you can sit in your car and see the live waiting list and be more comfortable. The facility is very clean the staff is just excellent theyre all friendly I couldnt be happier very very pleased and I highly recommend. This is just to add my visit today. I cant say enough good things about them. From electronic check in to how nice everyone is to how clean and efficient. Its just so great. 10⭐️ s
I was seen quickly and had the results of my Flu panel back within minutes. Healthcare Express is a top notch Urgent Care provider and I always have a great experience when the PA Sonja Martin is on duty. Always compassionate and expedient service from the Sherwood location!
Clean facility. Made my appointment online - easy to make appointment. Minimal wait when arrived to clinic. Very friendly staff. My medical issue was addressed and my prescription was sent to my local pharmacy to pick up after my clinic visit.
We love the Doctor & the nurse & they are so kind & friendly & understanding!! Plus, they remembered who my daughter & I were because they remembered us from our last visit which about a month so ago, that is how every patient wants to be treated, in my opinion. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐s ALL THE WAY!! ALL DAY, EVERY DAY!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEWALK-IN CLINIC IN SHERWOOD
Staff was nice and polite. The wait wasn’t bad at all. The waiting room and bathroom needed some cleaning.
I would love to praise them right now. I went to a different Urgent Care and did not get good service. It took me coming here to actually figure out what my issue was. Thank you HCE for helping me start on my healing path.
I was a first time walk in client. I did have to wait a while, but received exceptional service. All staff were friendly and helpful.
Would recommend this urgent care to friends and family. My son and I had no wait (I made an appointment and completed my paperwork online), had a very thorough but efficient triage, and all employees we encountered were friendly and knowledgeable. With a sick child, I wholeheartedly appreciated the care and efficiency of this practice.
I’ve been seen a couple times now and each time the doctors, nurses and front desk staff are by far the kindest and most helpful group of people. I feel like they truly care , which is so nice when you don’t feel well. Very thankful.
Short wait with appt, conveniently located. Excellent care in the several times my wife and I have taken advantage of their care . Blood test and x-ray on premises with immediate results.
I showed up at 8:02 along with 4 other people filled out paper work and handed her my id it took a hour for me to get it back meanwhile the lady at the front desk was screaming at the phone saying she doesn’t want to talk to whoever it was and they should come up there instead… she was constantly on her phone and they only take one person at a time and finish them before they take the next one back so if you got 3 hours to kill go here !
Weve been to this clinic in the past with no issues. Took my toddlers who had colds to be seen before a long road trip to see family over the holidays. Waited an hour in a room and was forced to listen to music BLASTING from the hallway the entire time. Completely unprofessional environment. Finally was seen by the doctor who was very rude and short with us. She spent all of one minute with us after we had waited a whole hour. She recommended we get strep tests for the kids. We agreed as we wanted to be sure before our trip. Got slammed two months later with two $300 bills. $600 total for strep tests and a bad attitude. Again, we had been here in the past with zero issues as far as billing goes. No changes to our insurance either.. Stay away from this clinic. They are only out for one thing. $$$
Very professional. Had to leave and come back. Wait time was not bad. They were busy. Will go there again if needed!
I’ll start off by saying that everyone was very friendly, and my initial wait time was not terrible for being a walk-in.It was the rest of the aspects of my visit that warrant me giving a 1 star review. I came into the clinic after running a fever for two days with a horribly sore throat. The two women that I saw never bothered to introduce themselves, not even their names. It’s only after looking at my chart after the visit that I know one of them was a nurse practitioner. She called me back to the room, never bothered to take my blood pressure or listen to heart and lungs. I explained all my symptoms, and she looked in my mouth with no light and standing about 3 feet away. After taking my temperature, she told me I absolutely did not have a fever, even though I was sitting there shaking and sweating, and I knew I had a fever before arriving. She swabbed me for flu and Covid, which was negative. After sitting in the patient room for over an hour with no communication from staff, another woman came in and told me that the only thing wrong with me was an extremely high heart rate and that I should go to the ER. I went directly across the street to St Vincent and was seen within 15 minutes. There they took my temp and it was 103. A PA came by to see me, and did a very thorough exam. When he looked in my mouth I had all the signs of strep throat. After being treated for dehydration and given a prescription to treat strep, I was finally able to go home.I say all this to say that an urgent care should be able to know the signs of strep and be able to treat it. Now I not only have an urgent care bill, but an ER bill as well for something that should have been relatively straight forward. I don’t know if it was a lack of clinical knowledge, a rush to be done, improper equipment, or a combination that led to such a poor experience. Please save yourselves time AND money, and find another urgent care that has the ability to correctly diagnose common conditions.
Trey was very very thorough and you can tell he really cares about his patients.
PA Terrell was awesome. Its been a long time since Ive had a doctor take the time to really help explain his thoughts and come to a joint decision on a treatment plan, that I wasnt left questioning later.
Always a very positive experience (other than being sick of course).
Fast and mostly painless. The music in the lobby is way too loud for people who feel sick. I had to wait outside I felt assaulted by pop country music. And there were random tv pop ons at the same time. I asked if they could turn one off but I gave up and waited in the car.
Made an appointment, got right in and within 45 minutes we were out. Great PA and staff. Straight to the point so you know exactly what is going on. Will always come here for service.
They have good doctors and they are very kind.
This is by far the BEST urgent care i’ve ever been to. i wasn’t there for very long. nurses and doctor were kind. i have absolutely nothing to complain about! the facility is so pretty inside & gives for a welcoming environment!
Everyone is always super nice and helpful!
Thank you for your exceptional care, concern and kindness. Both Ryan, receptionist, and Peggy, doctor, were caring and friendly. I would definitely recommend Sherwood Urgent Care to family and friends.
First time Ive ever been here and I was impressed. Very clean place. The staff were professional. Was in and out very quickly.
Went in needing a tetanus shot, unfortunately they did not have any in stock. They still saw me to double check my wound and offered me another option so that I did not have to go to another location. Also, the nurse (Autumn) was fantastic. Great personality and made the experience that much easier.
From Madison greeting me and getting me checked in to the nurses on down to the APN, i felt likei was right where i needed to be since i was sick. These guys were friendly, helpful, and they all were smiling. I would definitely recommend this clinic. Thanks guys!!
Very sweet employees there . Dr. Was patient and understanding. I got right in to see the nurse then the Dr. Good listeners. Ill go again if I need too before going to another clinic. Thanks yall!
Everyone there very friendly and service was prompt, dr knew exactly what I needed called in prescriptions real fast
Excellent service, everyone was very courteous.I would definitely recommend this place.
Everyone was friendly and caring as always. I love that I can schedule my appointment and complete all the necessary paperwork through the app. Visit was quick (like always) and both Chad and Terrell seemed to genuinely care and took the time to listen. I love this clinic! I really wish I could use this clinic as my PCM.
Dr. Marsha was through and helpful to my concerns. She gave me some extra tips for relief. I love her professional!Front desk staff was very nice as well. I forgot the tech name but she was very sweet and patient with me.
Dropped in to get a TB test. At $15, the price was good. They are open until 8p, so getting it read will be easy. Nice people.
Trey is the best! He actually listens and works with me to avoid an allergen found in most medicines. Its refreshing to receive remedies that dont cause different issues. I could write a novel about how exceptional my two visits have been at Healthcare Express.
Staff was super nice and professional. My needs were taken care of.
I love that this is close to us. They have some of the nicest employees. Love that I’m able to make an appt but sometimes even then the appt can last long.
The outside sources was very proficient and customer friendly.
Hello, my visit to Healthcare Express was great! Kind of a long wait but other than that it was great. Trey was great at helping to figure out a plan for my healing. I really appreciate it and the information he provided me with. The nurse and receptionist was great also. All in all a great experience!
Service was quick and easy. Only sat in the office 10 minutes before being called back. Doctor was in shortly after the nurse left. I was at the pharmacy within an hour to pick up my medicine. Thats awesome for a doctors office or urgent care. Ive sat longer just waiting to get back in the room to be examined.
I don’t understand why this establishment wastes people’s time. If you have an insurance issue, call or notify BEFORE the appointment that is scheduled. It is not difficult. Why do they wait until someone comes in or waits until they have been sitting there an hour to say anything. Common and repetitive issue.
Went here in MAY of this year to get a school needed shot. Everything and service was fine, paid at time of service as they did not accept insurance. Received a billing statement in AUGUST saying I still owed what I already paid. Not a fan of getting charged twice. Do NOT RECOMMEND.
I went through intake/paperwork quickly. The Physician Assistant was very thorough and attentive. I was in and out in around 40mins. Would definitely recommend. This was on a Tuesday at around 1pm. Very pleased with the experience.
Dr Marsha was amazing! I feel like she really cared. She took time to listen. I have never had such a good experience at an urgent clinic before. She gave me follow up instructions on paper so I would have something to reference. If you go I recommend requesting Dr. Marsha.
Ive been here several times, and the woman I usually see is great, but whoever the new girl is was awful and just wanted to get rid of us. She was very dismissive of everything I was trying to tell her.
Quiet, unfriendly staff. We were there bright and early. Not even so much as a “good morning” from anyone except for the physician. He was super nice and personable! Facility is also very beautiful, well kept and there’s a fully stocked Keurig coffee bar in the waiting room.
Couldn’t have been an easier process! I was expecting an excruciating wait, as is my experience at other urgent care facilities, but I was in an out in less than an hour. The staff is welcoming and friendly and genuinely care for their patients.Highly recommend!
The PA and the receptionist, Ms. Madison were very helpful and knowledgeable about their jobs. Ms. Madison was very helpful with Medicare. The PA was very competent and her passion for helping people showed in her interaction with my elderly mother who does not normally open up with medical professionals. Thank you for being there and caring for people!
They are always so super sweet and helpful
Overall a great experience from start to finish. We went in 2 hours before closing on a Sunday and we were the ONLY ones there. The facility was so nice and all the staff were great. My husband cut his finger open and needed stitches. The only negative thing was we received no after care instructions(when and if the stitches need removed, what to look out for as far as infection, ect) I partially feel responsible because my husband isn’t really talkative and I should have asked more questions, but I unfortunately wasn’t taken back to the surgery area with him. Again, I feel partially responsible and should have asked more questions. Live and Learn! I will definitely go here for future emergencies.
Very clean, warm and welcoming environment. The staff is genuinely concerned about the patients. The quality of care and compassion in the staff is extraordinary in these times. Jessica, at the front desk went above and beyond making everyone comfortable and calm while checking patients in.
Clean and quick. Some of the front desk persons can be rude. Nurses are friendly and efficient. But not all PA’s are alike. Most that have seen me have been great. However I did have one PA elect to treat me with a mega dose steroid shot. Let it suffice to say I will never agree to that again. I am still suffering from the side effects, and pretty bad ones at that. It made things much worse. A rib has cracked since then from the coughing and I read that steroid shots can weaken the bones. Not sure that is what caused it but every bone in my body aches and is stiff. I don’t know if she gave me too large a dose but she did know I was pre-diabetic. My blood sugar seems all out of wack and I feel bloated and full. So two things, I will be more informed before I agree to be treated by someone who is not my PCM and perhaps the PA’s should be more cautious and consider the whole picture of a patient they are not familiar with before administering something powerful and potentially dangerous and damaging. Otherwise I really like this place. But it is frightening what one wrong medication can do to you.
It was a nice environment with a beautiful facility. The contactless check-in process was nice, but being our 1st time there, I didn’t know what I was supposed to do after that (stay in car or come in). I had to call. We were immediately called back, but it took a while for the provider to get to us. The check-in said we were the only ones in line. Overall, they were kind and very knowledgeable.
Amazing care and service from start to finish. Every member of the staff was professional, helpful, and polite. I have tried 2 other places in my area all within 5 miles of my house but I will never go anywhere but this Healthcare Express! I cannot say enough about the fantastic treatment I had at this clinic!
Took awhile before I was seen, 30 minutes, but a busy time right before Christmas. However the PA got to the root of my problem and the medication I needed and I’m on my way to feeling better.
Both the nurse and nurse practitioner were extremely helpful and very caring. Place was well sanitized and very clean. My daughter and I were in and out in no time and they even got to see us both at the same time A+!
THE BEST!!! THE NURSES ARE GREAT... THE DOCTOR WAS SO NICE AND POLITE...AND THE RECEPTIONIST WAS WONDERFUL...LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
Today was my second visit to this clinic. Both times I was in and out in less than an hour. Nurse and NP both professional and quick and asked the right questions for my symptoms. One of the things I liked best was that the NP did not overprescribe.
Did a blood test and urine sample when I came in with blood where blood shouldnt be. Had to explain to a nurse how donating plasma was different than blood and had different wait times between donations. I went to a different urgent care 2 days later who was shocked that this one didnt send me straight to the er, as they said any doctor should have known to do.
I made a same day appointment on a Sunday morning.Easy check in especially on their app! Very short wait and seen right away. The staff is very nice and answered all my concerns. I will definitely come back! Thank you!!
I’be found this location to suit me best. The atmosphere, the receptionist, & the medical examiner are professional, respectful, kind, and they listen.
I have visited this quick care clinic Several times and had good experiences every time. I’d choose this clinic over several others that are in my area. Making an appointment shortens your wait time. All of the staff has been friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.
I went to see yall on Monday for what I believed to be an ear infection. the intake nurse Autumn was wonderful at getting my vitals and me checked in. I was seen by a PA named Penny, and explained to her that I had had this exact condition before and that I needed amoxicillin to get it cleared up since it was moving into my throat. Penny briefly checked my ears, told me I was wrong and didnt need an antibiotic and gave me two nasal decongestants. I took them for two days with zero results, I actually got worse and lost my voice as the infection had moved into my throat and lungs. SO I WENT BACK and they gave me Penny AGAIN. she looked confused on why I was still sick and worse, I told her again that I needed the antibiotic and not to give me a steroid because im very sensitive to them. she told me I wasnt getting an antibiotic and all she was giving me was a steroid. so I took the steroid the next day with my breakfast since I had to take 6 in one day. I was able to get 4 down before I was extremely disoriented, dizzy, headaches, mood swings, rolling panic attacks, chest pain and my heart racing. I called the office to let them know of my symptoms thats when they informed me to come back to the clinic, so I did. this time I got a delightful PA named Trey Terrell that went above and beyond to make sure my reaction to the steroid wasnt serious. he also reassessed the infection im still struggling with and informed me that I should have had the amoxicillin all along. I left with the prescription I should have had and way more information about my health issues than two visits with Penny. im going to request Terrell every time as the PA and Autumn as the nurse. I appreciate everything they did this evening to make sure I was taken care of.
I am so thankful for HealthcareExpress! I was able to be seen and had all of my concerns addressed promptly and expertly. Advance Practice Sonja Martin is absolutely great! She listens to your symptoms and concerns then discusses the options she is considering and why. I am feeling much better after several hours, due to her care. Thank you HealthcareExpress and S. Martin!
My visit was very good. Second time going. Both times were good. Thanks
Never felt more like a number rather than a patient before…..spent close to 2 hours in a non-busy waiting room and then felt rushed while being seen by the nurse practitioner. My daughter (patient) was minimally examined for a skin infection (chief complaint) and when questions arose after she quickly exited the room, we were instructed to leave our patient room and wait in the lobby (in the queue again). The NP’s follow-up to answer our questions that weren’t addressed during her 2 minute examination were met with an obvious curt manner and I feel as though this appointment was a waste of our time & money. We will opt to be seen at another urgent care if the need arises again.
The link system checking in when i arrived was a total failure. I had a 1pm appointment and I checked with the link I received in a text. I wasn’t entirely confident with it so I also called, spoke to an employee who verified that I was checked in. I asked if I could wait in my car and she said yes and that they would call me when my turn arrived. After an hour of seeing other people come in and leave, I went inside and waited another 30 minutes and still no help. I asked the receptionist to check my place and she stated I was shown as a no show. I showed her the text confirmation that I had checked in. After waiting nearly 1 hour and 45 minutes I was finally called back. The appointment was supposed to shorten my wait time, but the automated system failed.
The staff such as the receptionist/check-in clerk, LPN nurse was fantastic they deserve 5 Stars ⭐️. The wait time yesterday evening 5/9/22 when I took my mom just in the waiting room itself was 35-40 mins before she went into the examine room. It was only 3 patients at the time. My mom was the second patient called after the 35-40 mins of waiting went by. Finally being called into the examine room the LPN was polite, professional and very informative about the doctor taking awhile with another patient. Just sucks because we waited another additional 40 mins and finally we decided to just leave and thankfully the front desk was able to make her a 8am appointment for 5/10/22. So I took her back to the clinic and we were the only people in the waiting area this time we waited 5 mins and went back to the examine room and the doctor still took another 15-20 mins to come into the room. My mom had a sinus congestion was prescribed with steroids pills and the doctor should’ve also given her antibiotics just in case the steroids pills aren’t helping her any better. He stated if she isn’t feeling better the next couple of days call him and he would send the prescription for antibiotics. So the process of seeing the doctor was the downfall of the visit. Went home last night not being seen by him nor any prescriptions. So that’s why I gave them 2 stars on his part.
We had an emergency allergic reaction to happen on NYE , they were quick to attend to my toddlers needs and promptly get the meds called in so that she could have relief. The staff is very proficient and professional. Very clean and sanitized areas.
So I went to see a doctor yesterday around 9 am and didnt get out of there till 11am. I waited in the waiting room for those 2 hours to see a nurse for maybe a minute? The receptionist was really nice and I received an email to update my information and see the live waiting list provided by an app called Solv. When I checked in at 9 there were 4 people in front of me. If I wouldve known that 4 people would take 2 hours I wouldve went somewhere else. While I waited in the back for maybe 45 minutes I never got to see a doctor. I seen a nurse and she told me what she would prescribe me and left and didnt even give me time to ask any questions. This wasnt the first time I have been there for a long time too. I went with my fiancé about a month ago and we waited for 3 hours for a 15 min rapid test. I used to really love going here too.
Been here multiple times and all of the nurses and doctors have been helpful and kind. Usually have a good wait around a few hours but having the app to track your position in line is nice. Facility is always very clean.
This is the first review I have ever written. However, I feel like APRN Marsha Miller definitely deserves some praise for how well she treated me both as a healthcare provider and a person! 10/10 recommend!
Coming in from out of town I was able to easily schedule an appointment for a Saturday visit. No long wait. Had a 2:30 appointment, got there at 2:28 and was in the room at 2:31. Quick, easy, professional. Highly recommended if you cant get into your dr. Or if youre visiting from out of town.
Top notch clean!Service was great and informativeUnderstanding. All around I’m great full for these medical specialist. Front desk lady was very kindYou won’t regret this urgent care!Thank you
Professional, kind, expedient, knowledgeable and personable! It’s NEVER easy or fun to have to go to a clinic for care, but the staff made all the difference for me when I had to go today! Thank you all!
Had to wait and hour after my schedule appointment but other than that the service was GREAT.
Absolutely loved the online check-in experience. It was user friendly, quick, and I could do it from the comfort of my car. After you check-in, you can see how many people are ahead of you, which really helps with the guessing game of “did they forget about me?” 10/10 would recommend.
Was escorted to my room quickly and saw Nurse Practitioner within minutes. Since further investigation was needed XRays, Lab work, and urine test were all done at the Urgent Care, and quickly.Every thing was exceptionally quick and smooth. They even gave me copies and everything to give to my PCP.
Wait time is absurd, even with an appointment you will wait over an hour. And don’t think about asking receptionist a wait time, she’ll shut her glass window in your face giving the nastiest look.Nurse and provider were nice though. This is the 3rd time this happening at this location.
I had a great experience with health care express
Great customer service from the front door to the back.
Been there several times, always paid my bill, made appointment, filled out paper work online, get there and then told i have to have credit or debit card on file which i dont have either so BIG WASTE OF MY TIME! they should have said so when i called!! so now i have to go somewhere else
Love this place they were amazing
Very nice and got me in and out
I was able to scan QR code and check in before going into clinic. Very friendly and helpful staff. Went in for terrible foot pain. Not the first time Ive had similar problem, but its been a while. Saw PA Trey today. Hes a smart guy! After examining my foot, he asked if I had a podiatrist. (Yes, I do.) I appreciate that he recognized my special need, and I will go back to my foot dr if pain persists.
Took care of my my husband’s issue timely and correctly.
The doctor I had seen this visit was very kind and truly cared about my problems. The wait to get into an appointment was reasonable, and I never felt I had to complain about service.
Really upset with my visit today. No instructions from the Dr or nurse on what to do after I get home with a fractured wrist. Update: got a call from Brooke shortly after I had written this with the instructions. In all this place is really nice.
Very helpful from the initial scheduling to the diagnosis! Always great with my 2 & 7 yr. olds. Highly recommend the Sherwood location.
Check-in process was very cool with the app.Nurse was professional and niceDr Jones was awesome. Seemed caring and listened to my issues. Wish I could use him as my PCP.
Got here at 2:03pm. My boyfriend went in and called me at 2:28 saying the doctor told him 10 minutes and he will know the results. It’s not 3:08 and he still isn’t back!! Next time you tell someone how long they will be waiting, be sure to say the ACTUAL AMOUNT OF TIME!!
I thought if i made an appointment that i would be able to talk to the doctor and ask questions. the doctor was in the room for no more than 2 minutes and with only a flashlight concluded that i had strep and i was “good to go”… this treatment is super common for some reason and i was really hoping i would be listened to this time.
Service from the front to the back is AMAZING!!!!! The staff is AWESOME!!! Never a long wait. 2nd time here & today I chose to drive by at least 15 urgent cares to come to this one. The atmosphere & facility are very nice & welcoming which makes it an even more pleasant experience.
I made my appointment checked in online and only waited for 5 mins. I was in and out in less than 30 mins. The Doctor, Nurses and staff was very professional and caring.
Absolute garbage.Pay for appt upfront when finally seen by the doctor was told we cant do anything for you. Should be zero stars
Aside from the receptionist, the service was extremely unprofessional. We left with no more information than what we went inside with, a complete waste of $25. After a very brief explanation of my symptoms the “nurse practitioner” prescribed me antibiotics with no specific answer to what was wrong at all. I had to stop her from leaving to ask her if I was contagious, with which she replied “I don’t know.” I don’t even know who I spoke with because I was never introduced and no one was wearing any kinda of name tag. Absolutely the worst care I have ever received from a healthcare facility. I don’t know how in the world this has a five star rating because if I could I would give it a 0 star.
Audrey was my Nurse and she was fantastic. So was the doc. The only irritating thing is when you call they don’t answer and I set an appointment but was told they don’t follow appointment times.
Waste of time. Came in with serious injuries from a fall. Felt doctor didn’t take my concerns seriously. Had a bad attitude toward chiropractors. I really needed a referral to help deal with back & neck injury. Didn’t want to & told me chiropractors caused more injuries. Wanted to give me steroids without explaining the side effects. Gave me a prescription for a few muscle relaxants and sent me on my way. I will never return or recommend this urgent care to anyone.
Very long wait but that’s not their fault. The Doctors and nurses are compassionate and knowledgeable and it’s very clean. Husband and I have been there twice since moving to Sherwood.
Dr Sonja was very thorough and kind. Office staff also. Would recommend using this location
Nice clean facility and the staff was very friendly. The doctor had a great bedside manner. I will definitely go back when needed!!!
The lady at the front desk always puts a smile on our face. The nurse was incredible. The physician was awesome.
Whoever called me was super cool. She called me before I could even finish the paperwork. I guess what I said wasn’t enough to warrant a COVID test? Idk, but I never saw anyone and I was told I’m dealing with a sinus infection. I would have paid for the test, what’s the big deal? Everyone makes it seem like it’s so easy to go get tested and the one time I feel like I need it, this happens. Just a bit weird if you ask me.
Good people work there. They are kind and show compassion, which goes a long way when you don’t feel well.
It is a very professional, clean, quick in and out environment. I felt like I was treated with respect. And all my questions & concerns were addressed.
Very friendly group of doctors. We’re able to get me in and out in no time. Took the time to explain the tests and the treatments. Would recommend!
People all accommodating friendly and professional. Quick and easy appointment. Would recommend to any and everyone. Thanks for taking care of me.
My visit was wonderful. A staff that is cordial, friendly, and has your health at heart ❤️. Try them for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Thanks for all you do. Leticia Johnson ❤️
This is the only place we come to when we need care. The staff is so nice and very helpful and we never have to wait long. Thank you all
Dr Robert was very kind and helpful for my concernsHe even pointed out something he noticed that I was completely unaware of, and Im grateful for his service, and making sure to answer my questions. Very happy and I hope I get paired with him again next week
It was easy to schedule, the wait time was minimal and the staff were professional but friendly. They addressed my concerns and I appreciated the medications the APN prescribed.
Needed assistance, and they were closed. Their posted Google hours said they should be open, and the hours posted on the door reflected the same hours as Google. They closed early. I drove here for no reason.
I can’t say enough about Ms. Jessica!!!! AllThe staff was amazing. I will definitely recommend you all. You took healthcare to a whole new level. To find someone that actually cares and listens to you. This is the place to be!!!!#1 in my book
Great experience. Very efficient & quick care. We were able to do the check-in on their app & got right in to be seen when we arrived. Really clean beautiful facility.
The staff was very friendly and made my son feel comfortable. Service was very efficient. Couldn’t have gone better!!
I could not asked for a more pleasant experience. The health professionsl, front office & the health providers were am a zing. Great bedside manners. My new best friends.
The staff was friendly and helpful and efficient. Their customer service skills were amazing which is rarely seen nowadays.
I made my appointment online, waited less than 5 minutes, was seen by very professional, nice and caring folks and was back home within 45 minutes of my appointment time. GREAT experience!
This urgent clinic is wonderful. Everyone is very nice and you receive excellent care.
