Dr. Baker is WONDERFUL. I have never had a good experience with and OBGYN. Always pushy, rushed, patronizing etc. Not so with Dr. Karen Baker! She was kind, and compassionate. She listened with intention, never once dismissed my fears or concerns. She really was wonderful and so was the nurse who did my intake. Stellar.

Dr. Karen Baker is the Best Doctor in the world . I love her so much . She’s an amazing human.

Dr. Baker was referred to me due to some complications that I had with my IUD and I was so worried. Seeing her would make my third time seeing a doctor about it. Well let me tell you, that lady has superb bedside manners only bested by my original doctor (in another country). I had a minor anxiety attack while talking to her and I was just bawling. She listened to me, comforted me and let me speak to my hubby while she was doing the procedure. I loved that she explained what she was doing and kept talking to me the entire time. In the end it was not as painful as it could have been and she got the job done. So grateful for my experience with her. Seriously contemplating switching over to her while I am here in Savannah.

I’ve been seeing doctor Baker for a few years now. I am not one to leave reviews on doctors. I’ve honestly never liked a doctor enough to leave a review.But doctor Baker is really exceptional! I know that when I’m looking for a doctor I rely heavily on reviews, so I’m writing this hoping that it helps other women who are looking for a new doctor.Doctor Baker really thinks about you as a patient. She never makes you feel rushed and you have her undivided attention during her entire time with you.I have had to have multiple biopsy procedures over the past 10 years. With past providers, it was extremely traumatic and painful experience. I was told by a previous provider that it would not be painful and was really not given any information at all about what was involved. It was very painful and I was totally unprepared.The first time I met Dr. Baker it was for this same biopsy procedure and I was very anxious because of my past experience. But it was a completely different experience! She explained everything to me and told me exactly what she was doing and when she was doing it. It wasn’t a comfortable procedure but it was nowhere near as painful as my experience with my past provider!I’ve since had to have more biopsies with Dr. Baker, as well as a small surgical procedure, and there is no other doctor I would consider going to!She makes you feel like you are a family member that she cares about. She always calls me personally with test results also, which I really appreciate.

Dr. Baker listens closely to my questions or concerns and thoughtfully responds. She is highly qualified and keeps up-to-date with all the latest science. She is empathetic and friendly, too!

I really like Dr. Kathy Baker’s approach and her “bedside manner” - she is kind, professional, non-judgmental, truly everything one would hope for in an OBGYN. But I have had the hardest time getting the care I need in a timely manner. Once I was left with a very painful UTI for nearly a week, calling back every day to check the status of my prescription, then ultimately had better luck with the overnight staff in getting the care I needed. Another time I was leaving the country and needed to get an urgent refill of my birth control. I waited for 2 days and didn’t get it in time before I left. I asked for an email of the prescription to fill overseas and it never came through. I think the doctor is amazing but the office seems at best understaffed and at worst, forgetful. I will be looking for a new doctor unfortunately.

Dr. Baker’s office is such a safe place. She takes great care with patients’ whole health, offering proactive and considered solutions, readily and with confidence. I always leave the office knowing I’ve been cared for. Many thanks to Dr. Baker and her great staff.

I found Dr. Baker to be one of the best doctors I’ve ever been to. During my first appointment she actually spent about 30 minutes getting to know me personally and medically. During my most recent visit we were discussing post menopausal problems and she offered some very frank advice. She is a breath of fresh air, very open minded and understanding.

Worse experience ever just to make an appointment as new patient. I have been on hold for 32 minutes and I have been talking with 3 different representatives. One of them took all my personal information and put me on hold than another person picked the phone up and had no idea who I was. This practice needs to change their customer service. I wish I could give them a zero.

If I could rate this a zero I would. I had her place my IUD and she placed it wrong when I went back in shed said that she would give me another one for free and instead she sent me straight to the collectors and refused to speak with me for over a year I dealt with this and in the end I had to pay for not only the IUD that she must stop but the IUD that she replaced after she messed up I would not recommend her shes been no help to me at all
