Laurie fixed my elbow in two visits. My elbow was in great pain and nothing was working, I could barely raise my arm. Jason my personal trainer told me to try accuputnure, I was skeptical but desperate to relieve the pain so I tried it with Laurie and she eliminated the pain over a one week period with two visits. I was able to move my arm with no pain.

Laurie is a true healer of mind and body. I have been visiting weekly over the last few months with various different issues from fertility to headaches and neck pain. Ive seen Dr. Laurie Binder several times for acupuncture related to pain management and hot flashes.  Each time she is very caring, listens fully to your complaint, offers excellent advice for home care and nutrition.  Each time is extremely rejuvenating and relaxing--I leave feeling like a new woman.  Now when I feel like something isnt in balance my first thought is to go see Laurie for treatment.

Thanks to Laurie Binder I have two absolutely wonderful children. I was a geriatric mother according to the hospital I delivered and so my chances of conception were dwindling. Laurie helped sort out my myriad issues which consisted or daily headaches, migraines, anemia, sleeplessness, chronic fatigue and other unnamed symptoms. I felt so much better after a treatment I used to joke with Laurie to please just leave the needles in forever! Lauries bedside manner is kind and sympathetic. She is a total professional. She also has a western medical background so understands how to use both if necessary. She knows her limitations and yet the sky is the limit. Laurie is a fantastic acupuncturist - Ive been seeing her for several years and I always leave feeling energized. Ive also recommended friends to see her who have had no previous experience with acupuncture and their experiences have been invariably positive. I first went to Laurie to prepare for my third round of IVF. I didnt tell my fertility physician that I was going, because I wanted to see if there was any difference in how the cycle went (without him knowing there was a new variable). I received several acupuncture treatments from Laurie and followed all of her recommendations on how to treat my body. To my delight (and the confusion of my physician), the cycle went measurably better, and we ended up with an amazing baby son (and two frozen embryos to use later).I went back to Laurie again this past year, to prepare myself for the transfer of the frozen embryos. I did not have high hopes because they were frozen, and one was not considered a strong embryo. Again, I received acupuncture and followed her advice closely. Im thrilled to report that both embryos took, and now were expecting twins!I would highly recommend Laurie to anyone going through the experience of IVF or ART. She has a wonderful personality, makes you feel completely comfortable and positive, and infuses what can be a very stressful experience with calmness, optimism and a sense of well-being. With a background and expertise in Western fertility practices AND Eastern medicine, she also has a nicely balanced perspective on how the two can work together. Im SO happy and grateful that I found her!

My husband found Dr. Laurie on the internet while searching for alternative treatments for infertility. Our first meeting with her was the first time Id ever had acupuncture - I was a little apprehensive. BUT, I loved her blend of expertise coming from a traditional medical background. I remember she asked me a question on my first visit about my monthly cycle that no gynecologist or fertility specialist had ever asked me.I was a patient for about two years and LOVED every treatment. Its hard to believe that you can relax and go to sleep with needles sticking in you, but my visits with her were the most relaxing moments of my week!Dr Laurie became a friend in the process and celebrated our miracle pregnancy with us when the odds were not in our favor!
