Instant Urgent Care

Worst urgent care I’ve ever experienced. I call ahead and make an appointment and when I get there at least 6 people in a small waiting room. They all had appointments too apparently and told me I’d be waiting a minimum of 40min. Waste of time and you risk getting sick in that waiting room due to lack of air flow and no seating. The lady behind the desk seemed stressed out, not worth your trouble. Go elsewhere

I visited this instant urgent care clinic in San Ramon in March 2024, and got tested to see if I either had COVID, RSV, a flu or whatever else. Turns out I had COVID, I guess I lucked out because theres a really bad respiratory cold going around that many say is far worse these days.It was easy to make an appointment. I did it over the phone, that you can do it online easily, the staff is courteous come on the doctor was knowledgeable and administered the tests quickly .Very convenient and Ill use them again!

I would give a 0 if possible. Horrible service. Made my family wait for more than 15 minutes inspite of arriving early for the appointment. Billed me twice for the visit and still havent refunded the amount more than 45 days after incorrect billing. Very inefficient staff and customer service. I would never visit them again

My son had itchy red spots and doctor first thought that it was Lyme disease, when I told her that it is impossible to have ten tick bites at the same time, she ruled it out and assumed either allergies or bug bites. She prescribed anti itch ointment and told me to apply it regardless of the cause to ease itching. Those spots turned out to be bug bites and later our doctor told me that ointment was a very strong and hormonal one used for psoriasis!!!I also asked to take a swab to check for a ringworm and was told that they would call me once results are ready. Its been 2 weeks and no one called so far, I tried to reach them multiple times but no one picked up the phone.Horrible place, stay away!

Ive had two interactions with instant urgent care both have been spectacular in nature. In short order theyve been able to accommodate my needs and get the results I was looking for. Im very impressed with him I think if anybodys interested in looking for urgent care clinic to use hopefully this will be in the area close enough for you to make the experience while receipt. The company seems to have professionals at each aspect of their organization and on top of my medical needs and necessities. They were friendly and took great care of me. Was visiting from out of state and found this place through my insurance. Was really impressed with the service here and greatly appreciated their willingness to help me out.

I really enjoyed this urgent care. Despite its size, its well-organized. The front desk was polite and treated me with courtesy. The doctors were very informative and willing to help. This is going to be my go-to place whenever Im not feeling well.

Good medical facility-easy to get an appointment, on time, friendly, concerned about diagnosing and giving you the correct treatment. In my case, they gave me tests to find what ails me and not just prescribe any antibiotics(as many Drs have done with me & which didn’t work). This will now be my same day appointment Urgent Care.

Pros:- wait times are short, easier to get appointments at reasonable times.- In medicine the experience of doctor and attention given by doctor can make all the difference and I felt this facility gas better doctors and staff.- Doctors are seasoned and mature. Dr Li took time to understand my situation and diagnosed the issue correctly. I had gone to John Muir a couple of days back and the doc there didn’t even believe me when I was telling my symptoms, dismissed my concerns and then my condition worsened and I went to this facility.- The doctor decided to do more exhaustive testing for me where JM just did rapid testing of a select conditions.- in this area you have a few choices and I glad this facility is available, I would highly recommend this to anyone who might need to get some medical help.

Clean environment. Front office lady was a little uptight, and had me fill out all my insurance info again after completing it online prior to the appointment, so that was a bit frustrating, and the medical assistant was not friendly and acted annoyed she was there working. All in all not the best experience but was a quick visit which was nice.

Staff very helpful and caring. Medical help just what I needed. Came in to see if antibiotics were needed to get rid of my bronchitis. After exam and strep test, I was advised to keep doing what I have been doing and that antibiotics would not help my 7 -day old cold. Also got excellent advice about the way to make my flight back to the East Coast comfortable and as safe as possible! Thank you all!

A waste of time. Body aches, head aches, shaking. Doctor’s recommendation: move slowly because I’m getting old and take iron pills because I may be anemic.Didn’t listen that these symptoms were 2 days old.

I checked in for Covid test. While the staff was short and the office was busy, I was taken care of with kindness and respect. It took a little longer to wait for my turn, but the admin and doctor were wonderful. Thank you.

Amazing staff, they are friendly and the doctor is truly attentive of your medical needs and sees you as a person who is in need of care. If you are looking for an Urgent care near you, I highly recommend here.

One of the worst experiences at an urgent care I’ve ever had! I had an appointment but was seen more than an hour after & I waited a long time in the room for the provider. When waiting in the waiting area, I could hear the provider talking about the patients personal health information because she was doing it very close to the waiting area with her office door opened. She was rude to her receptionist.I came for a relatively uncomplicated issue and was prescribed antibiotics, but the provider said that she doesnt do electronic prescriptions and Id have to wait until the end of the day when she does them for all her days patients. They never sent the prescription request to my pharmacy even after I called twice to follow up. I honestly dont even know what I paid for! I would not recommend this urgent care.

$190 to disinfect a small cut.I went there in October 2023 to get my wound checked. I double-checked with the front desk, and they assured me that my insurance would cover the cost. The service was okay. However, two months later, I received a bill for $190.17. When I called the billing department, they werent helpful at all.Please make sure you know your coverage because the staff wont always tell you the truth!!!

We were taken in quickly, but we sat for 45 in the exam room waiting for the doctor/PA after the nurse took all vitals and strep test. Finally she came in to tell us it was strep, but she couldn’t fill our prescription (electronically) for hours because she was dealing with one patient! When there is one doctor on, there should be a limit to what they can treat and send people with more serious situations to the ER (like the person the doc/PA spent 2 hrs on before anyone else and backed up the entire waiting room and people’s prescriptions until the end of the day.)

I went in for a suspected UTI. From start to finish(about 25 minutes total!) everyone was friendly, efficient and knowledgable. Came out with UTI diagnosis and prescription was immediately sent to my pharmacy. I could not have asked for a better urgent care experience!!!

Do respect your patients and let them know if you are close!. I had an 11.15 am confirmed appointment on 8/21. They even sent me a reminder at 7 am to make sure I was coming. I took the time off from work and went there with severe pain and nobody was there. I called the customer service and they said oh sorry they should have called. Accountability and Integrity are the important ones this facility should learn asap!

Both the receptionist and the NP Yanxia Li were wonderful. I highly recommend this urgent care.

Doctor was very gentle and thorough. Put me on heavy antibiotics and going back in 5 days to see what test results say. I would recommend this place to everyone.

My son wasn’t feeling well. After doing 5 Covid tests at home I wasn’t satisfied so I made an appointment with urgent care. The process was smooth. Everything was done professionally and everyone was very friendly and professional. Thank you for taking care of my Son and I.

You are able to make an appt. so there was hardly a wait time and at 9:15 am only one other person waiting so the room is not full of sick people. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Clean Facilities. Very friendly staff. Quick and fast. Came in to get a covid test. They never gave it to me. I did get a good talk about the covid. I walk away getting medicine and a leave of absence for work. Website said I can get a covid test there. Unfortunately they dont do that anymore. Rules change all the time.

I’m so glad I found this place! We needed to get a covid test for travel and Instant Urgent Care delivered. At first, I was a little hesitant from the yelp reviews, but the google reviews were quite good. We were able to book an appointment same day and got our results within the hour. There was no line, and the woman who swabbed us was nice and knowledgeable. We were in and out in about 5 min. Many other testing facilities are clearly taking advantage of people by charging $300+ for tests. Also, this is one of the few places that actually accepts insurance! Without insurance, it’s around $220, which isn’t terrible. Anyways, couldnt recommend this place more!

I spoke to 3 ladies - 2 in person. All were super helpful and efficient. In the San Ramon clinic, I met Sophia and Padmaja (from the Dublin Clinic) and they were very friendly but efficient and professional. It was my first visit and they made me comfortable, asked me questions and answered all my concerns. It was a Friday before the long weekend but they did not make me feel like I was intruding into their off time (i have had that experience elsewhere). I truly appreciated that. Will go to their Dublin clinic from now on - just to get the same friendly and very professional service.

Came here with unspecified elbow injury from fall. The NP working was able to accurately understand, splint arm, and order x-rays for the issue. Got images same-day, followed up next day, scheduled with an Orthopedic early the next week.Everything was very smooth and efficient (a lot more than most hospitals). Staff was very kind and courteous. Paperwork was minimal, and mostly online. Do recommend for all non-ER medical issues

I was visiting from out of town. I tried to get my own dr to order X-rays for an ongoing problem. The Dr I was seen by understood my pain and referred me for X-rays. I was even able to make an appointment the night before I went . They set me up for a follow up visit two days after my appointment. My experience was great

My experience was great! The portal easy to use to get appointment, they came out at the exact time and swabbed my sinuses. She was extremely polite and explained when my results would be posted on the portal of my health care provider. Would highly recommend and was recommended to me!

We have had to come to this site repeatedly over the last year for my kids 9 &14 to be able to return to school. The staff has never been any thing but incredibly kind, helpful and efficient. We have always had our results back in less than 30 minutes.We had to come in for testing a couple of times this last week (during the recent surge) the line was sooooo long, but we were able to make it through within the hour and had our results within 7 hours.The staff at San Ramon instant urgent care has been doing a incredible job in my opinion during this pandemic. We appreciate you.

They were extremely friendly and communicative, was able to help me despite their day coming to a close. Would absolutely visit again if needed.

I made an appt for a “rapid” COVID test for 11am and got a text with instruction to wait in the car behind the building. No one came for 10 min, so I called and was told “we don’t do that anymore. You need to come in the front door”. So I came in the front door at 11:15 waited for another 15 min. Finally had temp, blood pressure, nasal swab etc. The staff was very nice. I was told results will take about an hour. I left, checked email for 2 hours with no results, so I called 8 times . No one answered the phone until finally someone answered at 2:35pm. Apparently the lady at the front desk was at “lunch”. Results were still not “published” but she called me back 5 min later with results about 2:45pm. So much for “rapid“ results, but it was free and they take Kaiser insurance and others.

Walked in late afternoon after my son and I were involved in an auto collision. The attending doctor was on his way out but stayed late to assess us. We truly appreciate it.

I scheduled an appointment and they got me in within 10 minutes of my scheduled time, and they proscribed me the medicine I needed to get better. 5 Stars, will definitely go back.

The front desk took care of me and made sure I get treated! To take care of my ear infection!The doctor looked into my ear and saw the fluid in my ears and gave me medicine! Easy to setup appointment and lots of texts and emails to keep track of it. The staff was courteous and the wait was not too bad, about 30 minutes past appointment time. I just didnt like that the time of the collection is not visible in the report as it is required by airlines depending where you fly.

Even with an appointment, my daughter and I waited 1 hour and 50 minutes for our covid test. Instant Urgent Care needs to be to more realistic with their timing and book less appointments throughout the day. Walk-ins werent allowed so this long wait was their own scheduling issue. The only positive is we got results in just over an hour through their online patient portal.

The team was quick and efficient in processing the paperwork and preparing us for the test. I received the results back for the rapid test within three hours. It was a positive experience overall. The only downside was that we were helped about 25 minutes after our scheduled appointment.

I had a series of unfortunate experiences at the Instant Care Clinic in San Ramon that left me frustrated and deeply dissatisfied with their services. My visits to the clinic were overshadowed by their handling of my billing and credit card information.To begin with, the clinic insisted on keeping my credit card on file, which I found rather unusual and discomforting. After my visits, they promptly sent bills to my insurance provider. However, before receiving any confirmation or payment from my insurance, the clinic charged my credit card repeatedly. This was not just a one-time issue; it happened multiple times, leading to an ongoing and infuriating cycle.As a result, I repeatedly had to call both the clinic and my insurance company, spending excessive time trying to resolve this billing nightmare. Despite multiple conversations with the clinics billing department, they were uncooperative and admitted that my insurance had indeed paid them. Yet, inexplicably, they charged my credit card without justification or reason.This entire ordeal forced me to take drastic action – I had no choice but to go through the cumbersome process of disputing these unwarranted charges and ultimately canceling my credit card. Dealing with the clinics billing department felt like an exercise in futility, with their actions appearing both lazy and nonsensical.My experience with the Instant Care Clinic in San Ramon was nothing short of a nightmare, and I would strongly advise against seeking their services. The unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and financial hassles I endured are not something I would wish upon anyone. Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward medical visit turned into an ordeal of this magnitude. Consider alternative healthcare options in the area to spare yourself the frustration and headaches I encountered.

I was the first of the day so there was not much wait. They were efficient and quick. I liked the fact that a NP talked to me first about why I was getting tested and gave me some advice. I also felt like I did not get a result very fast, but they I realized it was embedded in the email sent about an hour after the shot. I had to drill down to find it. Would be nice to get it a different way that was more evident, but overall it was a good experience.

I was seen at my appointment time. Preliminary screening was prompt and I was seen by the doctor. I was diagnosed quickly and given treatment instructions and prescription for medication. Excellent experience.

This place is expensive, many hidden charges. For a simple issue, the doctor charged more than $200 visit fee and test fee. Three months later we got another bill from an out of state laboratory. Will never go there again. Called the urgent care for an explain, the front desk lady rudely hung up my phone. There are a couple of good urgent care around, dont go this one!

Staff was friendly and professional, I was seen by nurse practitioner Christina who diagnosed me very well, found cause and gave treatment plan which helped me get better. Overall good experience.

Making an appointment was very easy. However there was a 45 minute wait before the test was done. All told Im giving it 5 stars because everything went smoothly and the nurses were great! Polite, efficient, and friendly!

I was able to book a same day appointment online. They followed up with a general call and then a reminder right before. Staff was very friendly and office was extremely clean. Liz, the PA, was wonderful. She addressed all of my concerns and explained everything simply yet thoroughly. Very impressed with the care I received here and would gladly go back when I’m in need of urgent care in the future.

Needed to go to urgent care on a Saturday. The nurse was very caring to all the patients and very professional. She made sure everyones requests were heard. I needed to get myself tested for Covid, FLU and Strep and found this place. The nurse was able to get my test appt converted to a doc appt to get me evaluated fully.The doc provided detailed steps on how to help with my recovery. Request folks is book an appt and wait your turn you will not be disappointed. Waiting room is a little tight but parking and waiting in the car may be an option.

This is the best urgent care in all of CA. I drive 45min just so I can see the doctor here. Dr. Elizaveta is amazing. She is knowledgeable, caring, efficient and extremely helpful. She is relentless is her pursuit of what ails you. The front desk staff is also excellent and will book follow up appointments or other necessary appointments on the spot. No waiting or wondering what happens next. There is even a CVS next door and they will send your scripts there if that’s more convenient. I would give them ten stars if I could.

Needed to get a COVID-19 test and made a reservation online. The lines werent long, but they consistently had cars in line. Once it was my turn they were quick and efficient. Everyone seemed nice though Im sure they rarely get time to breathe.

Made an appointment for 9 for a test. Called after waiting a whole half hour and was told the facility doesn’t open until 9.30! They just offer the slots up regardless! Had 6 cars waiting by the time some one showed up! Utter lack of respect by the organization for people’s time. Don’t book appointments for until after you open.

Only complaint is when you try to call and reach someone at that live location, the phone rings for a looooong time before anyone picks up- a remote office seems to be routing their calls to them- best to just show up.

Nurse was nice when she swabbed my toddler but the wait was extremely long. My appointment was at 3:15pm. I received a text message letting me know they were behind. I got there at 3:20pm. Test did not happen until 4:05pm.

Wife and I have been here recently and its great for what its there for, which is to quickly diagnose your ailment with the equipment they have. The receptionists, nurses, and physicians are all friendly. They smile and you dont feel like a number. Their processes are pretty good, Im not waiting long after my appointment time and for the doctor to see me. The waiting area is just the right size, clean, and warm. Finally, being able to set up and appointment online was phenomenal. I wish they had more equipment there like a sonar or x-ray machine, but the imaging place a block away didnt take too long for a walk-in. Im not sure if they do blood or urine work here.

The staff must have been very stressed, when I arrived because they were rude and unclear with how they wanted people to get tested. They had cars parked on both sides of an alley way and didn’t have any signs as to what the procedure of getting tested would be. I hope they figure out things will go more smoothly for them if there are clear and straightforward with their directions.

Staff were great. Answered all my questions fast efficient, gental, and friendly. Got results within a hour. I had the rapid PCR test for travel. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 rating is because there website is a little difficult to navigate.

Went to this urgent care to treat an allergic reaction. The staff did nothing to help me. They told me to take over the counter medication which I had already tried. I have to go to the emergency room now to get this treated. Do not use this urgent care if you actually need any help.

The app was little challenging for me to use for televisit. The doctor was very nice. Got the appointment for the test next day and the wait wasn’t too bad. And test was easy and the lady was thorough and good. I recommend this for anyone who want to get tested. I hope the results will come fast.

I arrived early to ensure I would have my rapid response for my surgery tomorrow. I was first in line and tested immediately and my rapid response was sent in less than an hour. Very efficient and professional staff. I will refer to friends and family who need a rapid COVID test response.

I went in there feeling nervous and left feeling informed and with my mind more at ease. Wonderful doctor. She was very kind and gave great information and the assistant was absolutely wonderful. Everyone there was very helpful and very friendly. We could all use a little more kindness these days.

I made a telemed appointment 4 days ago and was prescribed antibiotics for sore throat. My prescription was sent to wrong pharmacy even when I confirmed the right one. After not seeing any improvement I decided to go in person to get examined today after 4 days . Even though I made an appointment for 10:30 am, I was seen at 1 pm. After the long wait, I was told that I was prescribed wrong medications 4 days ago and now I need to take a different antibiotic. I checked the pharmacy on file 3 times today - at check in, with the doctor in the exam room, at check out - to make sure that they send the new prescription to the right pharmacy. Yet, the new prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy again. If I had gone to a more reliable place 4 days ago I wouldn’t be still feeling miserable right now. Horrible Experience!!

Staff was helpful and friendly, the practitioner was also a pleasure to work with. Everyone seemed very competent in their roles. I wasnt sure what to expect so I was pleasantly surprised. We had a very positive experience.

Amazing staff. I went in for a physical exam for nursing as a walk in and was helped immediately. NP Marcia has a great personality and easy to talk to. Long wait even though we had a appointment. 4 cars turned around. The test was a rapid test which should have been available in 1 hour; which would have been around 530p. The clinic closed at 7pm . It is now 830 p and no results have been sent. On the positive side you can make a appointment online without a referral. Staff was very nice. Please put on your website that the testing is behind the office.Also very hard to locate the clinic with GPS. Please get a larger sign. All I saw was the CVS Clinic minute sign which is huge. I am sure distracts from your location. I did not expect the clinic to be in a strip mall.

The urgent care was not helpful, experience was not good. I was in significant kidney pain and the location could not do anything. Instead of wasting my time for 1hr they should have told me to go to the ER

AMAZING staff, very clean and modern building. An absolute top notch clinic. Also, i didn’t have to wait really at all. I was in to see the doctor in a flash. She didn’t make me feel rushed either, which was nice. It always feels like doctors are running out of the door before you can ask more than a question or two.All 3 women who treated me during my visit were all highly compassionate, skilled professionals, BUT more importantly, treated me like a real human being instead of just a patient.... i find that to be very rare in medical care.If I could give 10 stars I would. :)

This urgent care is great! They were helpful, quick, and attentive. It was great to get some answers and some proper care when not feeling good for almost a week.

Ive been testing for covid weekly for my job in the medical field and they make it so easy up until recently when I was expecting a virtual doctor call and they changed it to where you just make the appointment online and show up for swabi not a problem I just wish we would have got an email or something letting us know the last two weeks have been a little frustrating otherwise they make it very easy for me and Im very happy with the people that work thereStill continue to test weekly, for my piece of mind and for my employer, the staff are quick, responsive, and very nice to talk to. They have it all dialed down.Thank you guys for your professionalism.

Amazing job and amazing team. I cannot tell you how fortunate we are to have this service here in our city. I had such a hard time getting a test through my own service provider so I had to do it privately through Instant urgent care and I’m so glad I did. Instant urgent care is fast reliable and organized. It was easy and simple to get tested. It’s so hard to find that these days. As the pandemic continues to evolve and Covid cases continue to rise we really need testing centers like this to keep us all safe. Thank you to the entire instant urgent care team. You have no idea how much I appreciate the tremendous effort you’ve put for us to help our community every day. You are essential to our public health and safety. Thank you.

Had to find a place for Covid testing that wasn’t booked days out in advance since I needed it for work. The process for figuring out how to book with this place could have been smoother and a little easier to explain but basically you can book same day once they send you the correct website to check for that after you text them. Lol. But got my results same day after creating my patient portal.

I had to wait for an hour and a half. The problem is with the appointment making online. I was told when I arrived that the office didn’t have my appointment and I showed them the confirmation email from Solv. They said their system doesn’t connect with Solv.I did like the PA who I saw and they were apologetic for the wait but they have to figure out the appointments online.

Got an appt quickly. No wait. Staff were competent, efficient, and polite.

We have been to this place numerous times throughout the last year. The COVID tests are always reliable, quick and easy. My 3 year old won’t let me do a home test on her, but has no problem testing here!

The clinic was nicely outfitted and had a modern look. I appreciated the security measures they took to make sure there were no covid exposures within the clinic so the screening and temp checks were not bothersome to me at all. My meeting with Dr. Liz was tremendous as she has excellent professionalism and wonderful bedside manner. She’s knowledgeable and is more than willing to simplify explanations for easy understanding. I felt listened to, respected, encouraged, and considered.The only thing was that I had about a 45 minute wait after my actual appt time, so that was kind of a bummer, but if that means I get to see Liz every time, I think I can handle a small wait.Thanks for all the kindness and expertise. I’ll definitely go back.

Really dreaded coming to an urgent care clinic bc last time i went to one, it was hectic and took forever. instant urgent care didnt have the same vibe at all. i did have to wait a bit but the receptionist, liz, and smita were all very helpful and answered all my questions and concerns.

The physician on site and the one that followed up with results were fine but I waited 45min in line to get tested. I arrived at 2:08pm. It seemed as though there was only one person to handle the entire line of cars. It might be best to inform what the typical wait time is in the future. When one thinks of drive-thru one imagines it to be quick.

The San Ramon staff (drive thru only on Sundays) were patient and did a great job! COVID rapid PCR results are typically emailed, but we wanted to wait there to get our results back to have our international travel papers signed. They called us right away when results were ready (≈45 min. We just grabbed coffees nearby). Thanks San Ramon staff.

I am from Seattle and ended up at San Ramon clinic after I made a Saturday appointment at the Dublin clinic for a dislocated shoulder. Imagine my shock, stress and continuing very serious shoulder pain when my driver pulled up to the front of the Dublin clinic to find it closed. Today I decided to have a Covid test and visited Instant Urgent Care in San Ramon. It was a pleasant experience. Service by each and every person I had contact with was excellent, knowledgeable and everyone was so very helpful! You are now my No. 1 place to go to if Im in need of help! Thank you!

Once i found the center for covid test my experience was seamless. i have not received my results yet but feel confident they will arrive soon . it was just tricky to find the address.. should be a sign to guide you to correct door

I have ZERO trust in this medical provider!!! This review is for Instant Urgent Care located at 2435 San Ramon Valley Blvd Suite 1A, San Ramon, CA 94583. I left a negative review in March and it was moved to the Granite Bay site that I never visited.I had a very bad experience at this location. Went in for a delicate issue. This was a small facility with limited resources. The didnt have basic necessities like gowns! They gave me a pillowcase and told me to disrobe. The on duty Nurse practitioner gave me an Rx for over the counter medication and didnt give any follow up care information. The staff was rude and condescending. Their definition of care is alarming.I left this facility crying and in a lot of pain. I went to the ER the next day where they performed a CT. Because I needed urgent care, my bill was over $15,000.A rep for the urgent care reached out to me after I posted this review and offered me a free exam, but I had already gone to an ER. After we spoke, my review was moved to the Granite Bay site. I didnt know this was possible!

Update: two hours of waiting and still no COVID test. Strongly recommend not coming here for your Covid tests.I would give this place zero stars if possible. Covid tests don’t take that long to administer, especially in drive through lines. We waited in the drive through line for over an hour and only moved maybe 50 feet up the line. There were solid blocks of 15-20 minutes or so where the line didn’t move at all. Didn’t even see the front of the line from where we ended up. They claimed to only have two providers administering tests, but even with two providers, it shouldn’t have moved that slowly.

We had to wait over 1hr over our scheduled appointment time. What’s the point of an appointment system when you make us wait that long at your office. Other than wait time, the doctor consultation was good.

I experienced a long wait ( an hour) beyond my appointment time to get my test done. I’m not sure if my swaps were done or handled correctly. I had a RAPID test done but after 8 hours I’m still waiting to receive my test results.

Im grateful we found this option for my elementary-school-aged sons Covid test. We were able to get the results several days sooner than we would have at our own doctors office. Unlike our pediatrician, they offer Sunday appointments and same-day results. At first I was confused by the idea of scheduling a tele-health appointment before the test day, but it was fairly easy. It was inconvenient not to have a testing appointment, but instead a testing window of time; luckily we arrived early and the line was not too long. Our drive through Covid test only took 35 minutes from start to finish.

The communication provided was very legible. The instructions for getting to the testing site was very clear. The place setup for patients to pull up to was clear of debris and the personnel administering the test was very professional. The entire process was very organized and straight forward. I wish more places were this organized. Life would be much easier! LOL

Such nice staff, and the doctor was so accommodating even though it was Thanksgiving. They fit both girls into their schedule. The doctor definitely went above and beyond to treat my girls.

Dr. Jagjiwan dhatt understand my concerns and answered my questions as best as she could as well as scheduling labs and more to make sure I’m in good hands and to make sure my health is okay. The office located at San Ramon valley Blvd is super friendly and respectful too! Best dr so far in my book!

If I could give 0 stars I would. No response or results after 3 days. I booked a video call on Wednesday and the doctor said I would receive a text message with my appointment time and instructions shortly. I never received the text message after a few hours so I reached out to their text line and asked why I had not received an appointment. They did not get back to me until I texted 3 separate times and it was almost 2 days later when they finally responded. Their phone line also just kept ringing with no answer. When I finally got a text response the person seemed bothered that I had reached out as if I was a burden for asking.Update: took a test Friday morning and it is now Monday morning with no results. Their portal doesn’t get updated and they don’t answer their phones. TERRIBLE (NONEXISTENT) customer service. Will never use this place again and recommend no one else does either unless you want to drive 45 mins to take a Covid test for no reason.Update: months have passed and I never did get my results. :/

If could give 0, I would. We took our daughter for a Rapid COVID-19 test for which we are supposed to receive the result in an hour or so. We needed this result to be able to send her back to school. We havent received the result yet. Its been more than 16 hours. No one picks up the phone at the center.

Fantastic all the way throughout the process. Reception was helpful and informative taking my insurance information and working that part out for me. Doctor was very nice and helpful, got the prescriptions to the pharmacy and followed up with a call to the pharmacy. Hoping I do not have to go back, but if I did I am sure I would get the same great care.

We set up 4 separate appointments with different names, emails and phone numbers. There was an error in the system that had all appointments under one name for 4 different time slots. Only my daughter was tested and we were all turned away. They did not care the error was in their system and did not want to do anything about it. Terrible customer service. Will be going elsewhere.

Just had a COVID test for traveling. Very easy! Received clear instructions and took just a few minutes. Appointment necessary but easy to schedule on line.

Instant Urgent Care is my go to for any urgent care needs, especially quick and reliable covid testing. The staff here are so friendly and they make the process fast and painless. I was helped by Tae and cannot say enough good things about her! So kind and happy to be there. A real joy during a stressful time. I had results within 30 minutes!!! Don’t really want to let the secret out but this place rocks. Thank you Tae and the entire San Ramon Instant Urgent Care staff! :)

In car swab 30 minutes late.Got an email to log into portal for results 2 hours later: good.But no officially travel certificate. And no instructions on how to get one. I am departing in 4 hours. I hope to get the official certificate soon. My girlfriend got an email with one an hour ago.Worrying.....

I needed a Covid-19 RT-PCR within 48 hours of my trip to Morocco tomorrow. As yesterday was Easter, most facilities were closed leaving me only 24 hours find a testing facility.Fortunately, I found Instant Care which was able to accommodate me on short notice, and administer the test. I was particularly please that I had my result via email within 2 hours.

Over the past year, I have had numerous Covid Tests at this location. Most of the tests came back negative but 3 months ago my test came back positive. In all my drive-up experiences, nurses on duty were always thorough and swabbed high up into my nostrils until my eyes watered.Fast forward to today. I have been quite ill for 3 days and I have all the symptoms I had the last time I had Covid. Todays nurse barely swabbed inside my nose as if in a hurry. She swirled it around enough times but barely inside the nostrils. I was going to say something to the nurse but didnt. My test came back negative. I actually couldnt believe it. Not the way Ive been feeling. I tried numerous times to call the Urgent Care Office at noon today and no one answers. I wanted to ask if my test is really accurate due to my concern and if I could get another test. Well thats not happening since its impossible to call anyone during regular business hours. Very frustrating!

Even though I had an appointment it took more than an hour in the line. I also thought the person who took nasal swab, did not put the swab up in to the nose but just did it pretty low in the nose and did it for less than five seconds.I got a NAAT test done here and got negative results but I had also done RT PCR at county site which gave me positive results so not sure if its false positive or false negative. I tried to call them but they do not answer the phone.

I took my mom to Instant Urgent Care in San Ramon and she was well taken care of. I really appreciated the time the doctor took to explain in detail the medical situation and how to improve the condition. Both my mom and I felt very comfortable with the doctor and she showed she really cared for my mom.

Care of physician was fine. Their billing and office staff have been horrendous to deal with. I was visiting the area and had symptoms of covid. They got me tested but trying to get them to bill insurance correctly has been a nightmare because I am out of area The visit happened in June of 2020, over a year ago and I am still trying to get the office to bill my insurance correctly. The insurance will pay as soon as they get the correct billing information but this office cant seem to manage that. When you try to call the office the phone rings about 25 times and then you are sent to voicemail. I have called every day for the last week, and marked my message urgent, with no return phone call. This has been an ABSOLUTE CUSTOMER SERVICE FAILURE on there part.

Very difficult to get anyone to answer the phone at this place. Called twice and the phone rang and rang and no one ever picked up. Also difficult to get test results as you need to sign in and make an account on an obscure link sent to your email. The e-mail link doesn’t say anywhere on it that it’s from instant urgent care San Ramon. Also ridiculously expensive for a Covid pcr test

Fast covid testing appointments with same day results! You have to schedule a virtual appointment first (I was able to get one within an hour and there were many other slots available) then go to the drive through testing behind the clinic. They accept Kaiser.

I suspected I had an ear infection and was able get an Instant appointment. Affordable. Very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return when I need care.

Excellent staff. Nurse was so kind to my nervous six year old getting her first Covid test (negative). I’d highly recommend. They don’t go deep up into the nose!

The staff at the clinic were excellent - efficient and a pleasure to deal with. However, and the reason why the overall rating was not 5 star was it tedious and time consuming to establish my account online.

The directions said to pull around back and wait for attendant. I called at my appoint time and they said they would be right back. 25 mins later, I call and they said to come inside. Now I’m behind 4 other patients. Had to reschedule my schedule and probably would have just sat out there if I didn’t call back in.

Fast, easy, and very empathic staff. If youre going for a covid test, theyre super gentle.Urgent care isnt one of those things you look forward to doing, but they make the experience as easy as possible.

This is my second time utilizing instant urgent care for the rapid covid test. The first time I used instant Urgent Care took a little longer due to uploading all of my information. This second time was lightning fast! I made a phone call to Instant Urgent Care, set up the appointment, drove to site and was tested. The entire process from phone call to test was roughly one hour. I have private insurance, Kaiser Permanente and it was $0 out of pocket. ✌

I stopped by today to get a rapid Covid test. I first arrived and they asked me for my medical insurance card and my drivers license. Then, after the test was done, the gave me back my medical insurance card but not my drivers license. I asked for my drivers license back and the gentleman said he will be right back. When he came back, he told me that they don’t have my drivers license and that they gave it back to me. I told the gentleman that I was never given back my drivers license. The gentleman said he’ll be right back. He again came out and said I’m sorry but we don’t know where it is. So now I have to go through the hassle and get a replacement drivers license because the instant care lost my drivers license.

Very efficient and highly professional. They were able to test me the day before I needed to show proof at the hospital. The best part, it is close to home.

Very professional Doctor‘s office, the receptionist is absolutely amazing as well as the doctors. I’ve had a great experience with this San Ramon location they were able to accommodate me, flawless communication and I was able to get in and out once I made an appointment! Horrible billing department! You cannot get a hold of anybody! We received a service last year and still receiving bill for that service that was already paid months ago. If you call, they say someone will call you back and no body does. they email you weeks later and when you respond, no one respond you back and I am sure they refer that to collection service! We are frustrated and definitely will not step in that urgent care again!

Excellent care and knowledge by the NP, gave me more information than MDs for similar diagnosis. Would definitely visit again if the need arose

Waited for 2 hours for a simple flu test and the staff FORGOT about me in the patient exam room. Not “instant” at all and the staff seem to barely know how to run a clinic.

They were very busy. I had an appointment at 11:45 I was not seen until much, much later. I left the office around 1:30. But the staff was really helpful and the Dr. Was very good.

Covid test process as smooth as can be. Book a virtual appointment and get a next day drive thru hour window appointment! All staff was phenomenal including front desk, nurse who administered the test and the doctor who administered the virtual visit. If you want an easy, quick Covid test without the hassle, this is your place!

They were great. The Dr. came into the room right as the nurse left from checking my vitals. She was kind, knowledgeable and the visit was quick.

Very easy. A representative called me to help me set up virtual and not office visit which I originally signed up for. I did not get a video call at my 2 appointment times but the when I called, she had a PA call me back in minutes for a virtual appointment! I got an appointment to be covid tested the very next day and was texted with very clear directions on where to go. MUCH BETTER than the BCBS virtual appointment. Dr was very kurt and did not tell me where or how to get an appointment to be tested. Instant Urgent Care was very helpful

From the minute you walk in you feel cared for. The staff, Ariana and Aida are fantastic and Dr. Liz knows what she’s doing. Went in with lower back pain and it was addressed promptly. Glad I found this place.

I had a rapid covid test for my daughter and I didn’t receive the results. The next day I texted them and they finally sent me access to my portal, but nothing for my daughter. I was supposed to receive results by end of day. As you can’t get a hold of anyone in office, and they aren’t responding in the text line, I’ll have to drive there to get them,

Horrible service. I was lied to—I was told that the RT PCR test offered here would be okay for travel to Dubai by one provider and then another person working here told us that they wouldn’t. Secondly, the turnaround time that was conveyed to us was inaccurate. Third, nobody ever picks up the phone or replies to emails.

Receptionist, nurse and doctor is very nice. They listened to your problem and very courteous.Office is new, clean and quiet.Prescription sent to next door CVS right after the appointment. Very efficiency!

MOST of these reviews are FALSIFIED and paid for. They often DO NOT have providers ON SITE to treat, and one assistant. They say they are walk in, but if there is no provider, they can’t treat. They will send you to different locations where there are providers (on Sunday, only Santa Clara had a provider and ALL the sites to Sacramento are “no providers”). The hours listed are NOT CORRECT since often they are just open for Covid testing. Nowhere on their site does it say when they are open with a provider. I have had a frustrating experience with them and will be reporting them for false advertisement.

It was a little hard to find, had to go to the back alley, and didnt know that it was a drive through.I got passed those issues and was helped by a most wonderful, kind, and patient young lady.She made my day!Thank you,Gene McCutcheon

Came in for Rapid PCR test and really appreciated Ivy and how friendly she was to everyone in the waiting room. The waiting room also was clean and very colorful.

All in all, we’re pleased with the service provided. Staff is friendly, polite, professional and accommodating. Would have given them 5 stars but it takes them a while to answer the phone. Had to call back a couple of times before someone picked up. Guessing this is because they’re probably stretched thin with staff because of Covid testing. Otherwise, everything else was great and would recommend.

I saw Dr. Murtinty and she was quick to diagnose my condition and prescribe necessary medications to help me recover. The staff were very personable and scheduling was easy online. Definitely recommend.

I was supposed to get my vivid test result within 2 hrs. I told them it’s urgent. It’s been 3 hrs. No test result, no one answers the phone. I’m very frustrated . Not happy with this service.and they charged me $220!

The nurse who made my appointment and took my vitals was very kind and helpful. The physicians assistant Albert was more useless than Google. Immediately came in and told me to remove my knee brace. No questions regarding what happened before and after my injury. Told me to keep using my brace, ice & ibuprofen, which I was already doing. Offered to write me a work excuse and sent me on my way. I felt it was a waste of my time and money to be there. I would seek any other urgent care center except this branch and this chain in the future.

At 4:00pm, I made a 5:15pm and 5:30pm appointment through their website for my son and I to get strep throat testing done. At 4:30pm I received a phone call saying that they close at 5pm and needed to cancel our appointments. Their website shouldnt allow you to make an appointment for after they close.

This felt on the verge of false advertising and left me extremely disappointed at the hours of my life I lost investing my time in this. After sitting in line for 30 min I learned that there were actually only two tests available: rapid antigen, and not-so-rapid PCR. Feedback: Be clear about the kind of test that is available when someone signs up for an appointment. Rapid??? The antigen test comes back by eod...8 hours for a 15 min test thats available widely? The rapid PCR test as advertised didnt exist and the sign-up process wasnt clear on what was or wasnt available. Results after 5-7 days (for PCR) provide little to no value to those trying to understand where they stand.

Well organized and efficient for COVID testing. Quick to schedule and are mostly on time but when running late they text you with status. Testing is by drive up so easy and quick as they have multiple techs helping

This place is awful. Extremely unsafe, unprofessional and rude. I asked the NP if she would wear a mask before examining my 9-year old son’s ear (who is obviously unvaccinated) she refused saying “you can’t make me wear a mask, the CDC says we don’t have to because we’re all vaccinated” when in fact the CDC recommends continued masking by all in healthcare settings. We left immediately. No one wore masks, no one introduced themselves, no one had a name badge on, no one hand sanitized and the waiting room was filthy. I don’t understand how they stay in business.

Excellent service. Fast. Dr and staff were amazing. Was in and out for a cut above my eye within an hour.

For some reason the text with the directions was not sent. With no email, no live phone number, no online contact, no google pin, and no text to confirm, I assumed the drive through was in the parking lot. I asked the CVS employees and no one knew where the drive through testing was. There are no signs and the car line was hidden. It was hidden in the shipping lane behind the CVS store. I arrived 30 min early and with only a 1 hour window to get tested, I spent 80 min going crazy trying to find the entrance. Way more frustrating than it should be.

Doctor was very helpful, assistant was nice, not crowded. Had to wait a bit but its just one doctor and assistant. Would visit again.

I found my experience at Urgent Care professional, with a staff that was orderly and pleasant. Thankfully…good 🙏🏻results came as promised two hours later.

I made an appointment online, got a confirmation of my appointment time and place. When I showed up it was locked up when I called the number they said oh there’s no doctors there today you’d have to go to a different location. When I asked why I wasn’t notified she said oh your appointment must’ve fallen through the cracks.

We needed urgently travel covid test on the new years day, all the places we went, 4-5( livermore, oakland, dublin, Pleasanton) were closed because of new year holiday, the only place open was Instantuc! Thankyou so much for being there for us! Very reliable and absolute instant care!

Do NOT do their virtual visits. They are not actually scheduled or on time. Very unprofessional compared to typical virtual visits. I had a scheduled appointment and they wanted me to wait 30 more minutes. If I hadn’t of been messaging them asking what was wrong, I would have never known.

Came is for a rapid Covid test. They said 2-3 hours for the result and it’s been over 15 hours and still no result. I’m going to have to miss work and my son will have to miss school. Do not test here.

Weve seen Dr. Elizaveta Delong 3 times due to my sons sprained ankle during his PE class. I was impressed by the service received. It was easy to schedule the same-day appointment, we were admitted right away without waiting.Ms. Elizaveta is a great knowledgeable and caring doctor who takes time to answer all your questions and concerns. Most of the time we communicated in English but if you are looking for a Russian speaking doctor, she speaks Russian.

Scheduled a COVID 19 test appt a week in advance only to show up and have them tell me they cancelled my appointment without notifying me. Lady at the front desk does not know what she was doing and did not know the reason for why COVID tests are cancelled.

Not happy! I needed a very specific pre-operation PCR COVID test. I even sent/gave them the instructions. It could not be a rapid test! What did I get? A rapid test! Useless! And a waste of my time!

I found the process to set up a telemedicine appt and go through the drive up testing really easy. But it would have been nice to know that I could set up 5 telemedicine appts back to back for the entire family and then just have us all be on one call. I found this out after I already had set up one and then had to do it all over for the other four family members. They should send you the results via email or a text message that your results are ready would be nice. I had to keep going into the portal till finally they were there. As for my kids, I still haven’t been able to get their results because I cannot set them up in the portal for some reason. So I’m giving three stars for all my time wasted trying to find my results for my kids. Btw it took about 4 hours to get my rapid test and about 3 days for the PCR test for my husband.

I called this location as I was having an allergic reaction. They requested I come in office... mind you eyes swollen, throat closing (had to drive myself as no one was available to drive me) Upon arrival during Covid, they checked my temperature and I did have a fever, due to the allergic reaction. They refused to see me, requested I go to the ER mind you at this point I am freaking out because my symptoms are getting worse.A year later I get a $200 bill. This place is absolutely ridiculous. My insurance at the time covered this place at that I dont see how you can charge a patient you refused service too. I will never go back to this spot.

On website they claim they do Covid testing for international travel and after showing up there they claim the results will be available in 2 to 5 days for RT-PCR where as no airline/country accepts test validity after 72 hours post test taken. It was an absolute waste of time

It was the worst, most belittling experience Ive ever had with a nurse practitioner; Marcia Roye-Madison P NP. I left crying out of humiliation.I went in for a venomous spider bite or severe bacterial inflammation on my elbow. I was visiting from out of town and went in on a Monday.I was called back to the room 2 after asking what arm was injured and laughed with the front desk about what room I would be in with the other arm. A really nice intern asked me what was wrong. I explained the story of what i think happened. Not sure when i got bit or if I something else could have caused the severe inflammation over night. When Maria the nurse practitioner came in she was nice but didnt ask me WHY I was there or how I was, OR even LOOK at my elbow- inflammation.She came in and said from looking at the notes, she decided I had (?)-itis then stood up to draw an elbow inflammation diagram on the paper on the chair with 4 different itis=inflammations. I nicely interrupted her to ask her if bursitis could also be one of them. She turned around and said, if you would let me finish i will tell you. And no its not bursitis thats in the shoulder. Then continued. Then realized she was wrong and it could be bursitis in my elbow. She said she wasnt thinking. She then said, since the notes said i leaned on a table with my elbow, that it broke the skin open and caused a bacterial infection. I injected again to explain my skin didnt have any open wounds and it didnt hurt when i leaned on the table on my elbow was a tiny bit sore so i rubbed it and kept playing with it with it for the next hour.She once again turned around unapprovingly and scolded me for interrupting her again like a school child. I was really trying to only help her in her diagnosis, but she didnt seem interested in MY story or what happened from me personally, which i thought would have helped her. I was never questioning her authority or saying I knew more from looking it up on the internet. I only wanted her to hear the full story. She ripped the paper down and crumpled it and threw it in the trash and said she couldnt finish since i kept interrupting her. Then i said sorry. She sat down at the computer and said Im going to prescribe you an antibiotic and i asked if a topical antibiotic like Neosporin would be good enough since its rather not have to take an antibiotic unless it was best. She opened the drawer and threw a sample of Neosporin at me and said you can use this but it wont do any good. Then continued to write a prescription and walked to the door waiting for me to leave. Then she obviously felt a little guilty and tried to defend her behavior. Then my dad sitting said are you finished? I said yes. And Marcia said oh are you her dad? i should have talked with you instead it would have been better i was asked from the front desk if i wanted to schedule the next fallow up appointment. I said, no thats okay.. and i had to walk out from starting to cry from humiliation. The WORST EXPERIENCE.

There was no line at all. Just one car all by myself. I had a test drive in San Ramon. The nurse was very accommodating. She explained the procedure first thoroughly . It was administered with no pain al all.

This is instant urgent care is the best I went here for a covid test and Tae is amazing highly recommended her she is so sweet please ask for her when coming. She is number one results came it quick.

This is the worst service. Waited 2 hours to get a quick test, told to have the result back in a few hours. Have not received the result after 24 hours, without it I cannot go back to work today! Stranded at home! No answers or replies to many calls or messages. Only machines.

The first place that actually made it effortlessly to make an appointment,communication via email after I made the appointment was also great. Very friendly, kind, great communication once I arrived.

Had a rapid Covid test today. I was told results would be back to me within 2 hours. It’s now 7 hours later and nothing. Call and texted with no response. I am trying to be patient.

Located in a dirty back alley doorway. Instructed to park in a fire lane to get tested, no proof of test taken or results supplied ever. The employee was not professional. I felt like it was 1960 and I needed an abortion. Do not use Athena ever.

The kind compassionate care I received was AWESOME! Tay (sp?) was AMAZING even helped me navigate their website. She was patient and kind and I really needed it!

Dr. Julie Samora made me feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. She was cold, indifferent, and rude. She even mocked me when I asked her how to take a better care of myself on certain things relevant to my visit. She said that I was not 5 years old, I should have known. Her tone was sarcastic when she gave the above comments. When I pointed out to her that her attitude made me feel uncomfortable, she became defensive and said that she was there only on Monday, so if I didn’t want to see her, I could see other doctors. Dr Julie Samora may have passed the bar to become a doctor, but she probably forgets to pass the bar to be a human.

So friendly and helpful. I was very uncomfortable in a good amount of pain. They were quick to help and to offer treatment options. Very nice team!

My nurse who took my Covid test was very polite and friendly. She was quick and got me out right away!

Can book an appt easily, but everything after that is up to god. Their customer service is useless when you have an issue

I went for a covid NAAT test with result expected in about 2 hours. 24 hours later I still have not received the result. No one is answering the phone. No way to send text inquiry.

Today is December 24th and I walked in with no appointment. That being said, I was seen within 15 mins and the whole thing took no more than 30 mins. The staff is very helpful and nice. Will definitely keep coming back to this location. Thank you!

Appointment was for 10AM, and was in line 10mins early. The process was a bit slow, however, and so I was tested at about 10:30AM. Very professional staff, and options for several kinds of Covid tests.
