Planned Parenthood - Mira Mesa Corton Eibl Family Center

I recently visited Planned Parenthood to have my IUD birth control removed and replaced, and the whole experience was excellent. It was super convenient to make my appointment over the phone, and I appreciated that I could request a female doctor, which was really important to me. The staff were all very friendly, and both the nurse and doctor were incredibly helpful and informative throughout the whole process. They made sure I was comfortable and answered all of my questions. I felt really well taken care of, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish!

I had an appointment; however, I waited for 20 minutes before being admitted to the room. After the nurse asked me a few questions and left me alone to wait for the doctor, an additional 25 minutes passed. When I inquired about the doctor, only then did they provide one, who then rescheduled my appointment. I wasted an hour of my time, and my issue wasnt resolved. I am disappointed with the service and have decided not to visit this place again

Very very efficient and kind staff!! They’re transitioning to the epic medical record software but they seem to be smoothly acclimating to such a huge change. My appt was thorough and not a beat was missed in the staff’s efficiency. Thank you PP Mira Mesa for keeping us all well!

I had complications removing my Mirena iud at other locations and could not tolerate the process very well however everyone’s body is different. After coming to this location Dr. Marengo & with the help of Natalie bless them both, got it removed for me. I’m very grateful you both took the time to make the process as comfortable as possible for me. I recommend this location to everyone 🥺🙏💕

Very rude customer service. Not a pleasant experience at all especially for a place where we should be feeling safe. Do not recommend this location.

This location had 1 person in the waiting room and couldn’t take a walk in for a refill. This is what PP is coming to. After working with PP for decades and making sure the funding is there - it appears funding them is a waste. Not a great look, not a great experience.

I had such a great experience here. Everyone was so kind and so welcoming truly. Made everything comfortable for me and made sure I knew everything they were doing! I was really nervous at first but they made sure I was okay. They were very attentive.When I first got there I was 20 min late because I couldn’t find the location but it’s on the second floor once you get there.They made sure to find me the next available appointment that was only an hour after my previously made appointment since I missed it. Once I got there it was smooth sailing from there! Truly a great experience

On time for my appointment, and so was everybody else! Great welcoming staff when I came in, informative procedures. I felt safe and well taken care of

I had brought my 11 month old with me because i wasn’t aware i shouldn’t when i made the appointment. i go check in and the lady at the front is like glaring at me and my baby. the attitude showcased itself immediately. she proceeds to say “do you have a car seat or stroller?” i responded no. she says “so you don’t have childcare?” well clearly not if my baby with me miss ma’am. they brought out some janky stroller for me to put my daughter in who wasn’t a fan. i get policies and procedures, but maybe that should be made known when booking appointments maybe? not everybody has access to secured childcare.the MA who took me back was nice tho. you could tell she likes her job

First time here! They were very welcoming and helpful when it came to providing my health insurance to them so I wouldn’t have to pay. The gentleman that helped me out was super sweet and nice. You can book appts online which makes it so easy. The visit was great they were very informative and helpful and you have easy access online to view results! Overall happy with my visit!

I have been coming to this location for years. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. My appointments are super quick. I check-in and typically get seen very quickly. The medical assistants, nurses and clinicians are all very thorough and ask all the right questions. Im in, Im out. Always leave feeling well taken care of!

I have been coming here to this location since I was a teen. There isn’t a better location or a team of amazing people to help women. They go above and beyond from the front desk, a beautiful Karina who is always happy to see you and help! to the medical Directors like Dr. Marengo who doesn’t give up on a person because of how complicated the problem is. I appreciate all your work and help throughout the years. I don’t know where I would be without you guys.

I was there this morning and honestly the best experience I’ve ever had. The lady at the front desk was so nice and helpful. The 2 nurses I had were awesome. I got the Nexplanon Arm Implant removed. I was extremely nervous (quite nauseous and anxiety level 1000) lmaoo but they explained everything perfectly and the procedure was done in under 10 minutes. No pain (besides stinging from numbing shot) but couldn’t feel a thing and the nurse talked to me the whole time throughout to distract me which helped. Highly recommend this location and the wonderful staff.

The clinic is very clean with some of the most polite staff members Ive ever met. Not even one person was rude or standoffish and this is SO hard to find, especially at a clinic! Appointments are recommended, which I made, and I felt that I was seen in a timely manner.

My first ever visit, the clinic was a very clean and the environment was friendly and welcoming. The nurse went out of her way to make sure I happy and comfortable, and her kindness made all the difference!! Would recommend this to anyone

I dont have a gmail account so Im using my boyfriends but I had a great experience at the Mira Mesa location. I arrived late since Im not used to the area but they got me in right away! The front desk was quick and prompt with checking me in. Andi is the one who gave me all of the information needed and she was really kind as well. Someone also printed me information about options of birth control, and answered all the questions I had, pretty sure her name was Estrella. I highly recommend this Location and dont understand why there are bad reviews. Thank you planned parent hood!!!

Ive been going since I was about 12, Ive gone for birth control, the day after pill, condoms, and they even helped when I got my first UTI and got me a prescription the same day. Very friendly staff and I always feel Im left feeling better about my body and with the confidence I can make an easy appointment whenever I may need :)

Love this location. Very organized, attentive, competent, supportive, knowledgeable, experienced. Had a Mirena insertion with zero issues. Highly recommend. Grateful for PP!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Manager is extremely rude. They dont care about you, or your health. 10/10 would recommend any location other than this one. Trust the reviews girlies

The most irresponsible people work in this location. You have to wait more than an hour in the room every time you come here. Unfortunately, people do not care about time at all and forget that they even waited for you in the room. You need to remind them over and over again that you are waiting for them.

This place is a worse place that ever seen. They dont respect a patient. My doctor wrote an ultrasound for me and she sent me to another radiology. The radiologist did ultrasound for me with two different scans: transabdominal and endovaginal. When I received the bill, I was surprised because the doctor didnt tell me that the radiologist would do it with two different devices. I went to my doctor in planned parenthood and the front desk didnt let me to talk with a doctor or a nurse, because I should pay more for consulting. At the end somebody came and told me : we were surprised why the radiologist did with two. we didnt ask this and you should call the radiology and ask them. After talking with radiology and my insurance I found that the doctor asked it. I am really angry , because the doctor and the nurse didnt tell me at least that they did it. They waste not only my money also my time. They are big liar. I will never come back there.

Their financial assistance is a joke. As a struggling single income household, scrambling to make ends meet through Covid, we still didnt qaulify. They quoted us one price, then charged us $65.00 more. They would rather hand out free abortions than help you get onto a birth control without emptying your bank account, or being honest about what they will charge you when you show up. So ashamed of this organization.

My first visit to this location was great, the nurse there was very helpful and informative, she took time to listen to my questions and really care.

This is honestly the best planned parenthood I have been to. Everyone was really kind and the PA who helped me really explained things well and created a comfortable environment

The best location. Friendly stuff. They aren’t busy like the mission bay location. I’d only go here if it wasn’t so far from where I live.

Liar, came there without insurance and they issued me with a new insurance saying that I wont get charged until one month later I received the bill from them, ridiculous.
