I’ve been coming here for years. I got my second IUD last August and had the best experience with the staff, although I don’t remember my doctors name. Since then, I’ve been back for regular check ups and testing and I’ve been treated with kindness and patience each time! I recommend this clinic to all of my friends and family!
In general I am very supportive of Planned parenthood, but I was unimpressed with the billing department. I was sent my first bill 9 months after the procedure! I had full coverage for this procedure and they kept saying my insurance denied the claim- this was a lie as my insurance has no claims submitted to them. I’m not sure if they’re “MO” is to wait to send a bill until insurance no longer accepts claims, but I was thankful mine takes claims up to 15 months post-appointment.
I came here a few months ago to change my birth control & it was super easy. The front desk made me feel comfortable and put me at ease when it came to affording the service if my insurance can’t cover it. I was in and out. They provided me with all my information just like the first time to make sure I was set! Calling to make an appointment definitely is easy as well!
So easy to work with. Very kind, friendly staff and I loved the doctor!
The front desk gentleman was very friendly and accommodating, as were all the nurses. I liked the entire staff, as they were very professional, kind, and gentle, which is very important when dealing with such a personal and delicate subject.
The nurses and front desk guy were amazing, patient, and nice. The doctor, Nicole, was nice but seemed irritated and impatient when I told her I was nervous because I’d never gotten a pelvic exam before.Got an IUD here a couple weeks ago and was told that cramps and back pain would only last a couple days. Two weeks later I’m still getting severe pain and when I tried to request an appt online using their booking system, I listed it as a high priority problem to get in within a week if possible. They responded 4 days later just to say “we have no available appointment times in your time-frame, please call the office.” I called the office and they did have a time for me to book an appointment within 2 days which was great! I explained I have concerns about endometriosis as well and thought that might be why I’m in so much pain. But the lady on the phone was condescending when I didn’t know they can’t perform exams for endometriosis. I felt really stupid for even calling :(Also, you still can’t have anyone come with you to an appointment, and you must always wear a mask inside. I get that for a hospital, but for Planned Parenthood? Cmon guys, it’s scary going to Planned Parenthood, especially when you’re a young girl who’s never had any sort of pelvic exam before. You have to go alone and after my IUD insert I was in so much pain I could hardly drive myself home (I don’t think that’s normal but I should have been allowed to have someone with me.)I support Planned Parenthood as an organization, but I don’t feel comfortable going there alone with the way the doctor was irritated.
I had a great experience going there. I went in to discuss forms of birth control and felt very comfortable and well attended. Cora, the medical assistant who attended me, was extremely nice and welcoming to me. I really appreciated how she spoke to me honestly and how much she made me feel at ease. She was super funny and nice but respectful and sophisticated as well. I got the questions that I had answered and felt more at ease afterwards.
I was a bit overdue for a pap so I called to make an appt. I asked the cost over the phone and decided I could afford it. When I went to the appt and checked in, they told me the cost again, only this time it was more than what I was told on the phone. Still decided I could afford it and needed the service. After I was all done and went out to pay and leave, the cost was more yet again, after 20 minutes? The staff performing the service and taking vitals and all that, they were great, made me feel comfortable and I really appreciated that. Id come here again as I fully support PP, but Im really hoping in the future, they have more knowledge in their pricing. I was fortunate to have the help of stimulus to pay this time, but the constant increases could have hurt me otherwise.
I love that our town has a clinic that is accepting & there when we need! The staff is amazing! I love Martha at the front desk always inviting & helpful! Dallas is by far way better than the old management & am so grateful we have her here! I always feel welcomed & get the information & help I need. I recommend this clinic to all my friends. :)
I am glad to see positive reviews for this place now. But in 2001, I had an abnormal pap and had to go to a follow-up appointment. Overall, there was nothing wrong, but when I showed up to the follow up appointment, the lady at reception said I had cervical cancer and gave me a pamphlet about cervical cancer and they were severely behind in their appointments. So I sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes crying, only to be told after my appointment that I did NOT have cancer. To this day, I still remember her blank expression and heartlessness about the whole thing.
I moved to St. George about 2 weeks ago. finding available doctors here has been an absolute nightmare, and i really needed my next depo shot. Planned Parenthood helped me immediately. i was in and out within 45 minutes. I felt extremely supported and taken care of. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of reproductive care.
Nicole left a bad taste in my mouth … she misdiagnosed me, and blamed my vaginismus on being overweight. Took me years to get the correct diagnosis, it’s def a skill issue.
First time here and it was Amazing! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and comforting to talk to.. Its usually a bit weird talking to people about things but this staff made it effortless. Plus theyre always willing to teach and listen. Im really happy there is an open place in town for anyone who might need it. Thank you ladies for all that you do!!
Definitely recommend NOT GOING HERE. I got a nexplanon implant from here because it was only $130 and the other place I was looking at was asking $1000 but I wish I would have went with the other place because I told them there was a chance I could be pregnant and they said I was just fine and didn’t do any kind of tests. So I ended up miscarrying a baby at 2 months because I was told “there wasn’t a chance I was pregnant”. I could have avoided the whole situation if they would have just followed protocol and done a blood test like any other place 🥺🤦🏻♀️
The staff at Planned Parenthood are the very best in the Biz, from Dallas to Mary to Nicole they all have a way to make you feel right at home and to make it easy to talk about anything....ANYTHING. These women are extremely professional and absolute rockstars at there job!
12/10 service. The staff is incredibly professional and helpful & super cooperative. Theyre happy to answer questions and do their best to be as communicative as possible. They also sanitize chairs, wear masks, and have guidelines to make it covid safe. Would definitely recommend!
Ive been going to PP since I was 14. To b able to receive info and help with a smile plus privacy, thats what I call awesome! I especially love my PP here in St George! Id like to thank 2 employees that make my day! Love u Dallas and Martha! U guys rock! Thanx for all your help, u guys r so fun!
Honestly the best place to go if you need personal help, they have such a kind staff(Dallas is the best !) always making sure that I feel comfortable as well as ensuring that I am aware of the right medication for my body. Overall an awesome planned parenthood, the best I’ve been to in Utah ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Planned parenthood hood is beyond the best, but the receptionist named “princess” was so unprofessional. Rude and disrespectful. Definitely go when she is not working! :)
Every experience Ive had at our local PP has been absolutely wonderful. The staff makes everything so comfortable even when the topic might be really uncomfortable! I support them 200%
Plan parenthood is a must have for anyone in need. The nice workers inside and very clean and professional and do not put any pressure on a choice you make . 10/10 will always use for basic needs . Dont mind the shamers on the street that push there ideas on you young women ! And men
The staff was very rude and unprofessional. The staff started talking poorly about paitents and their personal information at the reception desk, where everyone in the waiting room could hear them. Wish there was another option here in town.
I have been involved with this clinic for years and I am so happy to see it grow and reach more and more people. I will always recommend giving the wonderful ladies at the St.George clinic a visit if you need!
I personally really love coming to this location. The staff is so welcoming and very informative. It’s very clean and well organized. You can tell management is involved and active.
Honestly the staff is so kind. I absolutely loved the manager. She was willing to stay longer just to help me and I really appreciate that kind of customer service.
Everyone was so nice and understanding. I just got my first IUD and they were very good at telling me all about it and answering questions.
Its never very crowded and the ladies at the front desk ANGELS! They are. They help you so much and dont pressure you if you cant afford to pay.
The staff is always helpful, friendly and understanding. Their cheap female healthcare is a life saver.
They are awesome, they helped my husband and me, we just got married and they guide us!
I was treated with the most kindness that I’ve ever encountered. I will continue to visit for my yearly exams.
Such a good environment! Everyone there was very helpful and understanding, super nice staff I would recommend this to everyone.
I’ve never felt uncomfortable when asking for what I need, the staff is amazing.
Ive had the best experience here with care, emtionally and physically!!
Very very rude waited 45 minutes to get what I needed
Can’t go in with children.
