AFC Urgent Care Riverside

I cannot say enough good about this specific office!!! I frequently cannot get in touch with my pcp and end up at urgent care. I drive all the way from downtown because of the great care this staff provides. Dr Johnson is perceptive and adept at getting to the heart of an issue and responding thoroughly. The students are compassion and interested in learning how to do things properly. Would highly recommend.

Efficient electronic check in process on phone. Seen within 10 minutes of checking in and total appointment complete in under 30 minutes. The provider was kind and accommodated my needs as I was there with my infant. Would definitely recommend.

Hours say open until 8pm. I got there at 725. Wouldnt see my son for a possible tooth infection. Says they take their last patient at 7PM. Doesnt say this anywhere on the window. Person who came to the door was extremely rude and even showed me her phone what time it was. I knew the time. If this is the case it needs to be posted somewhere.

In no reality should this urgent care have anything higher than 1 star. The amount of hours I have sat on hold (and yes I mean hours) for the line to drop or be told I will get a call back is laughable. The doctor thought I had one thing and then turns out the tests they sent me for, werent actually tests for that. One day I would be told I would have results back in 3 business days, and then another day be told it was actually 7 business days, and then again only to be told it would be 10 business days. Then I come to find out that the doctor signed off on giving me my results (when she never did). I wish there was something redeeming like the front staff being nice, however I was only ever met with feeling like I was an inconvenience to their day.

You wait a long time for results and to be seen. There was a man doctor last time who did help me fast when other doctors didn’t care to find out what was wrong but he no longer works there :( if I could give them a 0 I would. Came in just to get checked for 1 thing because that’s all they do a day even if you have multiple things going on. You could be dying and they wouldn’t care here. You’ll have to make multiple visits to find out one thing. The girls in the front are nice though. The only thing they got going on for them. Prepare to wait 1 week everytime I come for a prescription. And come in person to push for results because you won’t get them with these doctors unless you push. Literally leaving here crying and I’ll take my chances in the ER because of how disappointing this place is. I’m not one to ever write a review either.

Had a great experience from the moment I walked in. Front desk staff was friendly and prompt, got back into a room quickly. The doctor was very friendly and informative. Quickly getting me a treatment plan and on my way.

AFC Urgent care is by far the best urgent care in Riverside , CA I’ve come to this location for both my children & myself for at least the past 5 years. Dr Bonnie and her team always take great care of us, & make sure we get the right prescriptions. Per my last visit 5/20/24 associate Esmeralda Medina went above & beyond to take care of me & provide great service I was truly grateful to have her help she is extremely professional and deserves to be Recognized. Thank you AFC for all you guys do I appreciate you !!

I went to AFC Urgent Care Riverside to treat a possible fracture as well as get my blood tested. They were very prompt as well as cooperative. They maintained professionalism as well provided me with complimentary juice as water to help me out before my blood draw; I tend to get uneasy in front of needles. I greatly appreciate their services, and I do plan to return for my physical next. I recommend them to everyone!

AFC is a wonderful place! Dr. Johnson is very very very amazing , I will most definitely be back to this place! Very clean and big, the staff is welcoming and fast paced so there was absolutely no wait at all .

Went in for a physical before my back shot. Everyone was kind, professional and the process didnt seem so long after all. Nurses I dealt with very kind and was great loved the office energy!!!

Dr.Johnson was amazing I came in with low blood pressure and dehydration. She made sure to give me an IV and checked on my blood pressure risen before discharging me. Highly recommend!!

I had scheduled an appointment and when I arrived I was told I had to wait 30mins which I didn’t mind although I had my scheduled appointment for a reason. When I walked back into the clinic the lady in the front desk told me I had to wait another hour and told me that it was weird because they don’t schedule appointments so I just left I wasted my time and still didn’t get attended. I wouldn’t recommend especially when the workers don’t do their jobs properly but if you’re willing to waste your valuable time come waste it waiting in the waiting room for hours

First time at this Urgent Care. Wait was not bad. Was brought in by Desiree who was kind and very knowledgeable. Dr. Johnson checked and treated my son. I am very satisfied with this first visit.

This was the weirdest interaction with a doctor Ive ever had. I should have known when she was chewing gum when she came in. I still have no idea why they measured my ailment with a ruler or took a photo of it instead of just lancing it right there. I spent two hours there just to be sent home still in pain (probably because I was the last patient of the day) and the medication never got filled at the pharmacy when they said it was. By that point I was tired, in pain, and couldn’t get ahold of them because they were closed. Never go here for anything. Just go to a hospital instead.

I prefer going here instead of going to my primary doctor because the staff is knowledgeable and the doctors are able to successfully diagnose patients with ease. 10/10 recommend anyone visit this location.

I was a little nervous about my visit but the staff was so kind, understanding, and even fun to talk to. I would recommend this urgent care because you get quick care by people who actually care.

We came into have blood drawn and we were going to have to wait along time. Liz was wonderful and got us back quickly. My daughter was very very nervous and Emeralda was wonderful with her and very patient. Thank you!!!!

I love this Urgent Care! I’ve been here multiple times and they always help me out. Staff is friendly and doctors are great. If you live in the Orangecrest area, this is the urgent care to come to.

All the staff are very nice and beyond helpful. The doctor went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. I will continue to go here and recommend it to everyone I know!

The care they gave was quick, the staff was kind, and follow up was prompt. My prescription was ready when I got home.

Their hours say 8 am - 6 pm on Sunday. Who would want to go in an urgent care on a Sunday if you dont really need to be seen.Arrived at 5:10 pm and the staff said they were closed already. After driving that far and not feeling well, they deserve no stars at all.

The provider was very helpful and I felt comfortable speaking with her! The medical assistant who checked me in was so sweet and she drew my blood very well. Definitely coming back.

Arrived with my sick child at 8:10 am they state they open at 8am. Another gentleman was waiting at the door. It was locked. Then someone in scrubs came and they let him in and shut the door on us. By tho time it was 8:20. It was under 50degrees outside. I had a 1 year old in my arms. They didn’t even let us wait inside. I left because I don’t want people with that kind of attitude working with my little one. Completely rude.

This place is clean and well staffed. The physician, Dr Boni (hoping I’m spelling that correctly) was great! She went above and beyond for my health care.

They did an excellent job diagnosing my illness and getting me out of the office fairly quickly. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Every time I have gone to this Urgent care I’ve had such a great experience. My kids and I are always well taken care of here. Dr Johnson is always so caring and makes sure you leave feeling better. I recently went in for a procedure and Desiree was very patient and made sure I was comfortable. I will always recommend them for the great service they provide.

Despite the waiting room being empty, wait was long. I needed a pre employment physical. They charged 150 bucks to do a physical, without verifying if it needed to be done by a MD. They did it with a DNP, so it’s void and I’m out 150. Terrible, do not come here. For a place that advertises this service, they do not know how to do it properly

Had the best experience in this urgent care. I took my niece late prior to their closing time due to tonsillitis and they were very quick in getting her in and seeing her. Everyone was so respectful and they explained all the entire process that needs to be done very clearly. She was seen by Dr. Johnson who works so well with kids. I would highly recommend this urgent to anyone in the area

Great service!! My 4 yr old son was scared at first but the nurse started to explain everything that she was going to do to make him feel comfortable and that was a success she is really nice and friendly, my baby ended up saying that she was so cool 😃 and the Doctor she explained everything so perfect. The commitment of this clinic is supposedly to provide the best medical service’ which I don’t think is true, but in professional terms the service is very poorMy experience here was 1 hour waiting even when there were only 4 patients waiting, and another half hour waiting in the room of attention waiting for the doctor;Something went wrong with my sons medicine and I couldnt get it at the pharmacy, the pharmacists told me that this medicine had never been seenWhich is why I communicated with them to see what was happening not before I waited for about 40 minutes to get my phone answered,The lady in charge told me that she had to talk to the doctor so that I could have a new medicine but that I would have to wait the next day for the time I was calling . Well I went to the pharmacy the next day and it turns out they didnt send any order, I get back to them and the lady who answers me tells me that I would take her about an hour and a half to return my call because the doctor was busy with other patients.Well, that never happenedFour hours later I get back to them and finally tell me they already sent the new order for the medication.I think if in this case he was a relative of the doctor or it was the young ladys son on the phone, this wouldnt have happened.So its fake that his commitment is to offer you the best service,If youre reading this I recommend you find a better place.

I’ve been to many urgent cares and this is by far my best experience. The waiting room is nice and clean and I was seen in less than an hour. Both Nurses and Dr’s listen to your concerns and made the whole experience very pleasant.

I absolutely LOVE AFC urgent care Riverside. I have visited their location several times for myself and kids. Every visit is quick and we are able to get the medicine we need to get better. I LOVE that they take Kaiser insurance. They save me so much time by being able to go there rather than wait for hours at Kaiser. Doctors and staff have always been so friendly and helpful.

Staff appeared clueless, no one in lobby but still had to wait after a hour was told medication would be sent to pharmacy thats less then 5 mins await from the urgent care its been over a hour and no medication sent yet.Called was left on hold for 10mins had to hang up and call back only to be told another hour that I have to sit in my car with a sick child and wait another hour because the provider didnt delegate her time right.Its hard to find good urgent cares out here I wont be back

If zero, stars was an option, I would totally click that! This is the most unprofessional and unhelpful urgent care. I should have went to Riverside urgent care off Brockton. At least they’re helpful. I felt like I was dealing with a bunch of interns that didn’t know what they were doing. Things like asking for Paper to cover myself while I got an exam I shouldn’t have had to do. I also did not appreciate that the gal that was helping the main doctor reached into touch my eight week old baby. Extremely unprofessional! Please please do not go here. Plus I’m getting sent a huge bill For absolutely nothing. Waste of time and money!

Desire you are so professional and I thank you for everything you did to get me started as a new patient. Esmeralda took wonderful care of me and it really shows how much she knows in the medical field. Her bedside manner was awesome and this young lady is so incredible. She has a lot of experience and it shows! I got the privilege of being treated today by Dr. Eddie. He was so patient abs he was so kind. He drew my blood and he took all of my vitals. He was very professional and concerned about my accident. Eddie I felt super comfortable with. He is compassionate and he listened. What a great experience I had today. Waited 2hrs so my toddler can be seen when it wasn’t even busy. I’m just trying to understand how the doctor is going to prescribe my child medication and never send the prescription to the pharmacy. Will not be coming back hereSo I called the next day and asked if they had send the prescription to the pharmacy and the ma said the doctor did send the prescription. So I called the pharmacist and they never received any prescription from this doctor.Not only that I called about a month ago for a telehealth appointment which the ma signed me up for and she took my information down including insurance and assured me the doctor will call me back when she was done with her patient, never did I receive a call from the doctor. This urgent care needs better management.

DONT expect to get your medications the same day you visit. Had to call them to tell them to send over my prescription to my pharmacy and they still didn’t. The pharmacy didn’t get my prescription until the end of the night. It took more than 24 hours to get my medication and I was still missing one. When contacted this establishment about the missing one for a second time I was told that the pharmacy was on lunch, but they weren’t as i just talked to the pharmacy. Then was told they were on hold. So were they on lunch or did they put you on hold? Cause those are two different stories. Very annoying. I shouldn’t have to battle for my health.

Least professional dr I’ve ever been to. Wham bam thank you mam type of business. If you need help don’t go here. The black female dr was the worst physician I’ve seen in over 30 years.Her attention to detail was almost negative.

Wonderful doctor and the staff is also wonderful. I got very good advice on how to take better care of myself. I would recommend this Ugent care to anyone who needs to see a doctor right away but dont need to go to the Emergency room.

Been here a few times when my son has ear pain or when I have pain on my throat. We always get the correct antibiotics and it takes care of the infections.Update:It’s been now two times that prescription is forgotten to be sent over to the pharmacy. I shopped at sprouts for about 40 minutes, then got in line for cvs.. by then it’s an hour since I left the urgent care (left at 5:00p) and still nothing was sent. Then the front girl tells me i was discharged at 5:43p… I got furious! I behaved very rudely but if this was communicated I would have understood. I get back and they tell me I need to wait even longer.. That’s why I’m bringing it down to 2 star!

This is the best urgent care! Dr. Johnson really knows how to care for her patients as she always makes my daughter feel welcomed and cared for! Thank you to everyone who works here for always being kind and taking care of your patients! This is the ONLY urgent care I’ll go to! :)

I went to afc today. I have dual insurance which I presented when I signed in. I waited for 2 hours. The receptionist then called me to the front desk and told me I had a $100 copay. Because I have 2 insurance I should not be charged a copay as my secondary always picks up the copay. The physician went as far as to come to the front and tell me that she would not see me if I didn’t pay the copay. She was rude and irate. These are standard billing practices that providers sign agreements with insurance companies when they contract to see their members. Do not let yourself be deceived and manipulated into paying for copays that you should not be charged if you have 2 insurances. This is an unethical practice and to me seems even more unethical when they allowed me sit in the lobby for 2 hours before informing me of this. Just a heads up about this provider. I then went to another urgent care and experienced no such unethical billing practices.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Each person was thorough. They were quick to get me in and quick to get me on the road to recovery. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need.

Literally the most low class place u can go. Open at 8 then the brat working front desk tells you the lazy provider wont be in till almost 9 so then u wait an hour and then the loser provider calls and says they wont be in for an additional 2 hours. Dont waste your time, they dont care about anyone here. But they sure got their money that probably wont be returned for a week!

I’m an employee here but also an occasional patient. I can honestly say that Dr Boni Johnson is the most caring provider I have ever had and very knowledgeable too. I see why her patients love her so much.

I always question why I even return. Worst service ever. Had a 10am appointment and did not get seen until an hour and a half later.I checked in at 10:03 and the gentleman that “checked me in” wrote in 10:33. When I confronted stuff about the long wait, they notified me I hadn’t waited as long as I was saying since their records indicated 10:33.Staff gives out incorrect information over the phone.Oh and the cherry on top? Cash only. Card reader is down until further notice.

Review Updated.Initially I thought they were good.Update- I went in for testing. Im from out of town. The orders I brought in stated they needed to be sent to my Dr. I asked them would they send them to my Dr when I came in. They said yes. They gave me a very hard time about getting my own results and sending them to my Dr. I had to go up there 2 additional times, called 10 times, and email a Dr there 4 times. My results were time sensitive and it had been 8 days. Then they had me come in again and fill out a release form (when the orders I brought in myself said to fax to my Dr). I spoke with the Dr there and then she still wanted me to send a email saying to send the information to my own Dr. It was beyond frustrating. The receptionist had my results in her hand. I watched her print them out, she then refused to give them to me until they were reviewed. The results were for my personal Dr to review, it was unnecessary for them to review because they were not treating me, my Dr was. Id never go back again.

Extremly compassionate and through. Found I would go back there without a hesitation.

It was a great place 2 go to, but unfortunately it got worst. The place is clean, the staff seems great but the third time I went my meds never arrived to my pharmacy. The fourth time My wife was checked in but seen and hour and 10 mnts later with additional trainers without her consent or their introduction. My wife was in pain that at that point, she just wanted to be seen and get out. I hope that in reading this you understand that we want change so we can still come to see you.we want to give you our business but not in this manner. This doctor seems great. She knows her stuff but if you dont pay attention to your process and attention to your community it wont pay attention to you and we dont want to loose you. This is a positive criticism msg and hopefully you know as a doctor and patient where were Coming from.

I love Dr Boni she is so energetic, concise and has such a wonderful disposition, not found in a lot of doctors. I just love her. Always get treated fabulously at this office by Yisela & Desirae too !!!

The doctor always cares every time I’ve went in, I had a kidney infection that I had no awareness about. She made sure I was prescribed the right antibiotics and it was something my primary care doctor didn’t catch. Grateful to this urgent care! They are fast on the day I went right when they opened.

I sent my college age daughter to this place because it had 3.5 stars. She waited almost 2 hours and the doctor checked her for under 5 minutes. Didnt ask many questions, didnt listen to my daughter and took off in a flash. They didnt send her home with any paperwork explaining what the issue was and didnt tell her what the problem was but ordered an antibiotic. This is not the place to send to anyone who wants a thorough exam or any kind of proper communication from a physician. AND definitely not the place to send someone who needs care urgently.

Very clean, friendly. The PA there that works in the afternoon is very nice and well. Educated as a PA. i’ve been there three times and I am always happy with the service that I get there. I would recommend anyone to go there.

Clean, pleasant folks working here. I treat at the VA usually, but I needed some immediate care and a VA appointment would require a wait. They knew how to handle a VA patient. There was no long wait, the Dr. saw me, diagnosed and sent my Rx virtually immediately and I picked it up on the way home. Completely happy with my visit.

Went on a Sunday, hours on door say its open from 8 to 6. Doors are locked and when I called the staff answered and said they are short staffed so they are closed. Ridiculous.

Amazing!! Got my baby help as soon as they could I was so scared I didn’t know what happened to his little face I found out he had an allergic reaction Desirae H. Helped me with insurance and all the questions I had I didn’t feel unheard and was relieved my child was ok ❤️❤️

My aunt came to be seen at this Facility and was seen by the provider for ringing in her ear and discomfort, she was assessed by provider and was told she would get prescribed ear drops. She also made sure to confirm that medication would be sent out because there was a previous experience where medication wasn’t at the Pharmacy. When picking up medications an hour after her visit and waiting a while at the pharmacy she was told no medication was sent out to her pharmacy AGAIN. We tried calling in to see what was the problem this morning however the staff member put me on hold and said she would look into it, we were on hold for 30 minutes and had no solution. Tried calling several times and had no answer. Worst experience! Better off at Apple Urgent Care in Moreno Valley will go there next time!!!

By far the most horrible urgent care, I ever went to. The staff members are nice but everything is all over the place. I went to them to get some care for a car accident and they prescribed me medication, however the pharmacy never got it. I called them and they didnt pick up and completely ignored my question even after they picked up. I went in person and asked and once again they told me they sent the information but the pharmacy never got it. They are actually a garbage urgent care. Will never ever go here again.

Our dr. Johnson is such a fantastic doctor. We love her! She explains everything so we understand and she cares very much about our health!

Needed sports physical for my son.1 person in waiting room and was told $115. Agreed because he needed it quick.After waiting 2 hours he was finally called in so six lines could be filled out on a page and signed. About three minutes in the room.Okay, got what we needed.After paying $115 I am continuously receiving a bill in the mail threatening legal action if I do not pay $242 more.Ridiculous, 115 for a sports screening that is $10 at the school and free through my insurance then billed more.On top of that billing service says phone lines are down and office just doesn’t answer.Guess I will go wait in the office again.Needless to say, I will not be back for any future needs.

Never a long wait and always get relief from my symptoms.

I’ve come here a few times and got excellent service however today was absolutely terrible. They should have my daughters info on file and did not. They sent me a text to register 3 times which I completed the first time however I think every time they did so it pushed me to the back of the line because they sent a new arrival time. I came at the first check in time and was told to sit and wait for them to call me up 20 mins later to ask what I needed and then told it’s going to be far past the 2nd check in time they sent. They’re so unorganized today. No soap in the front bathroom, no TP in the back bathroom. And another hour to wait in the room to be seen for 5 mins. And yet another hour so they’re saying to even send the prescription to the pharmacy which they’ll be closed by then so my child will be in pain and not start them until tomorrow now. Just wonderful.

Do not go here. I went yesterday for a really bad ear infection. I regularly get ear infections so I knew thats what I had. The front desk girl was polite and the wait wasnt too bad but 2 drs came into the room. One was a student the other was the actual doctor. I explained my ear pain she looked at my ear. She said I had no fever, no leakage and my ear wasnt red. I told her I dont get fevers and I have severe pain so its the start of an ear infection. She said all she could give me were drops but drops have never worked on me, im the type who needs antibiotics. She then told me she has a proposal and began talking about a weightloss program they have. She told me it would be all out of pocket and when she was done talking I said what does this have to do with my ear pain? I left and went home. I woke up this morning I have a full blown infection, my ear is swollen shut and now I have to go to a different place. Do not go here. Its a waste of time.

The staff are really friendly, but the communication has been a little frustrating. I went in to get blood work done. They never called me to discuss results or talk about my referral, and so I called them 2 weeks later for them to tell me that my blood was the incorrect temperature for the lab. I came in to get my blood work done again and for a referral. After 4 days, I called to discuss my results. They told me they would call me back. Never did. I called 2 more times on separate days to have a talk with the provider about my results. Again, they never called me back. Understaffed and Unprofessional. Wait times are usually hours for the doctor to see you for less than 5 minutes. Be prepared to take a Covid test or be denied anti-biotics. Wish there was something below one star to leave a more accurate rating

Jennys husban. 10. Very nice, and I like the fact you have student doctors. Its like getting a second opinion for free! The doctor and student answered all my questions. I had a ruptured ear drum. They prescribed meds and sent them right over to my pharmacy, immediately. And they made sure i got refurd to a specialist the next day. I did not like the online check in, when in fact I was standing right there at the check desk. For a boomer the app was quite a hassle/hard to use. The receptionists had to help me, and she did!. It will be my place to go. About wait times others stated, well an hour or two at a busy times is the norm nowadays. I waited about 20min. At 2pm. On a Friday afternoon with 4 others ahead of me. Not bad. Take care God bless.

The front desk people were very helpful! THE DOCTOR was amazing diagnosed my issue quickly I got the right medication and I was out of there quickly! This is definitely the place to go if youre not feeling well!

We had a great experience at this urgent care. We normally go to a different one, but the wait time was astronomical, so we tried this one. The front window staff were very friendly, the medical assistant taking vitals was nice and competent, and the physicians assistant that saw our daughter was outstanding. He had a friendly personality and was very knowledgeable. They phoned in a prescription, and it was waiting for us.

I called to make an appointment on Sunday May 7, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. and scheduled a time for 9:45 a.m. the same day, nice huh. My nurse was named Maria and the Doctor was from Nigeria and Last name was Del Leon I think. Anyways I waited about an hour they were supper busy but I had a great experience. I was diagnosed with strep thought. I asked for a additional shot for a quicker recovery at an minimal cost. Very clean and professional place and had a great T.V. show on home improvement and coffee, and water for guest. I highly recommend this place to anybody. Peace, Love and understanding. M.J.

This place has gone from good to bad. They are very inconsiderate, inefficient and unprofessional. Made online appointment at 9am, received text to show up at 1150. So we show up 15 min early to waiting room with 3 people in it to be told they dont take online appointments. They also said that they were just about to call me to let me know of the issue of booking online. Just about to call me hours later! I could have gone somewhere else! Then to make matters worse they said I can be seen closer to 3pm. Get it together! The worse part about it, this is a revisit from a few days ago where I was misdiagnosed.Then I get a respond 5 months later!!!! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! TERRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT

Terrible experience. Was seen for 5 minutes after telling doctor I don’t have covid she still took a test and it came back negative. So surprising ! They don’t do nothing for you here. I am better off diagnosing myself and taking my own meds at home. Sent me home with ear drops that no local pharmacy had, finally found one of town and they won’t send a new Rx because the insurance only covers for that pharmacy?? Never heard of that in my life. Lazy, lies, and I won’t come here anymore. Staff just sits there gossiping anyways on their phones.

I went into this urgent care because its been hectic to get into the doctor and honestly, its usually faster. I went in for asthma related issues and repeatedly told the doctor that I did not have an inhaler and thats what Id need. They gave me a breathing treatment and said shed prescribe an inhaler. It took 3 days to even pick up the medicine from the pharmacy, ended with me calling a second time and the guy was very nice about helping me. I did finally pick it up and its not even what I need. I dont know what to do with Zyrtec and Flonase, that wont help me.Edit: A Dr. Derek called me and took care of everything, I have gotten my correct prescription and I am very thankful.

This is such a great urgent care. The facility is clean with a home type of feel to it. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I felt very welcomed as a patient. There was hardly any wait time to be seen. Thank you AFC for this positive experience. Youre facility is my new urgent care. Noel, Dr. La Combe, Tina, Selena, and Jasmine are the best ever!!!! Clinic is supposed to open at 8. The girls who work the front desk showed up late as I was the first person in line. I putbmy name on the list as I should. And they proceeded to help everyone but me.As I sat there for 20 plus minutes being ignored it dawned on me that the two receptionist were the only staff there. So I asked calmly and politely was the doctor available to see me. The receptionist rudely stated that the Dr. Doesnt (who is the owner) doesnt come in until 9:30 to 10:00 am. So I then asked why wasnt I informed of this when they asked for my name and if I was a return patient. This is absolutely ridiculous. Why would you let a patient sit for an hour and a half knowing they wont be seen. Horrible customer service and communication.

This a great urgent care. Everyone here is friendly and makes feel comfortable. The doctor will listen to your concerns and any questions you might have. I have been here when its busy, but am willing to wait for getting quality care. Compared to other urgent care facilities this was the best care I have gotten by far.

The entire staff are caring and wonderful. Your medical concerns are thoroughly evaluated and treated. The doctors are really concerns about you and not rushing you out the door with a bunch of prescriptions to pick up. They explain every test results concerning your illness or injury carefully. I highly recommended AFC Urgent Care Riverside.

They dont take peoples time seriouslyand theyre very rude

The staff was welcoming and nice. Once I got into the room though with my sick daughter I waited almost two hours for the doctor to see her. I said something twice and every time was told I was next but kept on waiting. Never coming here again when my kids are sick and need to be seen.

Super impressed! Great staff all were polite and attentive. The Dr. Actually listened and was sympathetic. My son 3 and I were both seen in the same visit. The Dr. Was great with him and made him feel super comfortable. Not mention the facility itself was incredibly clean! They offer coffee and water bottles in the waiting room. I was skeptical that a doc in the box could really help me, but my primary care physician was already closed and I didnt want to spend 4 hours in the ER. So, I gave these guys a try. I was actually really impressed. The staff was friendly and doctor was seemingly very knowledgeable. I will not hesitate to go back!

Came here for an ear infection a couple months ago and they never sent out my prescription, I had called and they told me to wait 5 hours, waited nothing, went to the pharmacy the next day and they still hadnt sent out the prescription! Honestly this is very sketchy of them because Im pretty sure they billed my insurance for a prescription they never sent and Im seeing that alot of people have complained about their prescriptions not being sent out.I strongly suggest avoiding this place if you need urgent care please go somewhere elseand if just like me if youve been here and not recieved your prescription report them and call your insurance!Dont come here! 👎

I have been going here sense they opened. Dr John is the best humble caring doctor I have ever ran into. He has really been there for my family whenever we needed them. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. In the wait us not bad at all. If I could give this place a 10 I would.

This is one of the worse urgent care clinics. The fact that there are patients who have bad experiences here is enough to push me away. They put you on hold so long (for over 45 minutes for me). This is not acceptable healthcare. They dont apologize for the things that they do wrongly. The owner does not listen to the patients concern or questions to make the treatment right for the patient. Not any of the staff members call the patients back about concerns or questions.These actions are not acceptable healthcare. They should improve significantly for the patients sake (especially during these unprecedented times) and not so much for their sake.

Took my fiancé here after having a horrible experience with her primary insurance provider Kaiser. (Currently sitting in the AFC patient room for observation from a shot) We were at Kaiser for 3.5hrs and the assistant medical director came out and made an announcement that it will be a 6-8hr wait from this point. Her pain level was at an 8 and climbing. They did absolutely nothing and had no empathy for her situation. I took her to AFC since it is up the street from our house and from the moment we walked in the staff was great. We explained our situation and treatment from the evening prior at Kaiser and the reception/intake was very empathetic. Turns out AFC accepts Kaiser insurance so we got in to see the Dr within 10mins. The Dr listened to EVERYTHING my fiancé had to say and was very receptive to her needs. He did a very thorough examination and gave us a referral for x-rays to continue exploring the injury. We will always come here while having kaiser insurance and I recommend anyone reading this to choose this location for any urgent care needs. The waiting rooms are very clean and the staff is beyond exemplary. Thank you AFC for giving my fiancé a voice and showing compassion during her painful injury.

This Urgent Care is a little out-of-the-way only reason why I go is because of doctor Derek S.(for got how to spell his last name.) I went in for some heart issues that I was having that turned out to be a bad case of anxiety however the physician Derek was really compassionate very understanding very knowledgeable and very helpful in my situation. the other staff thats working there is marginally passable I didnt feel that they are empathetic to what I was going through or other people that show up with health issues. When talking with them however dr. Derek made it all worth it 5 stars for him.P.S still didnt get my prescription that was supposed to be called in for the second time.

My wife and I made appointment for Covid Pcr test for flying. They charge $200 per person but that I think is a reasonable price. We arrived at our appointment 5 minutes early and the place didn’t look too busy(good we’ll be in and out in maybe half an hour). It’s been 2 hours now and we just got our nose swabbed and we still have to wait for the doctor to come in and talk to us. They took our payment within 10 minutes of our arrival but we have to wait for over 2 hours now for service. Do not come here for your COVID Pcr test. Terrible service.

I have come to this urgent care multiple times and highly recommend it. They have wonderful customer service and the wait times are not that long. The facility is clean and they have refreshments while you wait. The doctors here are very friendly, kind, and really care about you and the issues you are having.

This place is great, I. Called in for Urgent help, and I was given directions to come. I was recieved with care and love. The receptionist are time conscious and considerate to Patients needs. The Doctor is aware of what the front desk is doing, and how long are Patients waiting at the waiting room. I was seen and immediately he diagnosed me , and started a Nebulizer treatment. I felt healed, and he prescribed take home medications, for respiratory system. The office was clean and offered beavarages, and water while waiting. What a an appreciation of customers can one expect more than this. I wish to use this place as my primary Physician for day today Care. 100% satisfied.

The receptionists and nurses were nice, but the doctor I saw was very disrespectful and I completely regret wasting time and money here to receive medical care . I wish I remembered his name to leave in the review. He did not take my concerns seriously at all and did not try to help me figure out what is causing my symptoms and what could be done to alleviate them. I also ended up with a pretty gnarly bruise on arm arm after getting blood drawn.

I am a new resident to Riverside and dont have a primary physician in this area. I have been to AFC urgent Care few times and always walked out with a good experience. Managing Doctor John and the entire staff is extremely professional and very helpful as well as well qualified. Now I must say that is very rare to find in any Medical facility. I take my family there and wish that this place was our primary physicians place. (Heard they are working on it). They do accept most of the insurances and if you dont have a insurance they are very affordable. Greatest urgent care out there. Not only is the facility very clean and mesmerizing, but the staff amazes me Everytime. From the receptionist, to the medical assistant, and of course the physician. Receptionist was very welcoming and the medical assistant was so loving too. Jean Lacombe is a great medical professional. Always asks great questions to figure out what your true problem is. Many other urgent care facilities may not give you medicine and will tell you that youll feel better in a few days, which may be true sometimes, but not for me. Once he heard my health problems, he prescribed medication which actually helped my cause. Thank you for everything.

This is now the only urgent care that I use because, as a cash paying patient, I have high expectations and also genuinely appreciate the thoughtful consideration they have shown for the value of my time and money. The doctors, management and other staff have worked together with me so cooperatively to help meet my healthcare needs with a quality of care that I am so grateful for. I trust them and am thankful to have found a neighborhood healthcare solution that has been so suitable for my particular situation so far. I would highly recommend them. Additionally, the environment is always immaculate and the wait times have been short and the staff consistently friendly and kind.

I wish I could leave zero stars. The doctor on duty tonight spoke to me for probably 20 seconds, not even concerned with hearing my medical history and symptoms. He couldn’t even have the courtesy to come into the room and shut the door. I’m guessing he wanted to get me out of there quickly as I was the last patient of the day. Never going back to this office for care, and never recommending this place to anyone I know.

Edit: Had to edit because of my terrible experience following up with a bad respiratory infection. I was given to a different doctor this time and told them I was dealing with a yeast infection as a side effect of the antibiotics I was on, he also looked into my ear and said he would prescribe drops since it looked fungal. He said the prescription would be sent in two hours. I waited 6 hours just to find out they sent the WRONG prescription to my pharmacy. It was supposed to be ear drops for an ear fungal infection and fluconazole for a yeast infection, and he sent over Bactrum and Motrin for pain?! Needless to say it was the completely WRONG medication for my diagnosis.My original visit was great, how is it that there is a complete 180 in patient care and consistency? I feel bad because the receptionist had to hear my frustrations and it’s not their fault but doctors can’t be negligent like that!I originally came in with a terrible respiratory infection a week prior (not COVID related) that made it painfully impossible to swallow, speak, and I also had an ear and sinus infection along with it. The wait was longer than what I had been told BUT I do appreciate being told by the doctor why that was (someone had to have a much needed procedure done). The doctor (Dr. Sarpong) was very attentive and concerned with addressing all the symptoms and causes for my respiratory infection. He also had an antibiotic shot administered to help kick start the recovery process because it had gotten so bad. The doctor had great bedside manners and is very knowledgeable AND takes great consideration to address ailments and symptoms in the best way possible.

I am a weekly business traveler and ended up with a sinus infection and upper response while In Riverside, Ca. Being from NOLA and when not having a recommendation from a local, I always trust GOOGLE reviews. Well, these folks are Rockstars! The front office and medical staff are awesome! I was greeted and treated in a friendly and professional manner by the staff and the doctor. The facility was immaculate, including the restroom! I arrived at 4:15 on a Tuesday and didn’t have a wait at all. I was out of there in 30 mins! I would definitely use this urgent care again! 5 stars for sure!

The head nurse even took the time to give me a tour of the facility. I would highly recommend this facility.

HORRIBLE WAIT TIME. I waited just over three hours on a weekday afternoon. I heard other patients complaining as well. The office staff is friendly but is very bad at estimating the time, otherwise I would have gone to any other urgent care in the area. The PA seemed to be very slow when seeing patients, but when he got to me he was in and out of the room in about 7 minutes. There is a PA at this facility, not an MD. Not an issue in my opinion. Just know that you will not see a physician.

Best Urgent Care that I have ever been to. The offices are clean, the staff is friendly. My son needed a Sports Physical and I was able to get it on a Saturday! They also had a coupon on their website for physicals, which they directed me to. Great customer service, would highly recommend!

Im been generous by giving this place 1 star, it should be zero or negative stars, wait times are terrible and they are charging patients $200 for covid-19 test with the promise that results will be available in 2-3 days. I am going on 2 weeks and I havent received my results. I had to go there twice just to get tested and everytime I call no one answers the phone, i had to call several times one afternoon with no success, it seems like they keep track of the calls via caller ID because the moment I called on my work cell phone they answer right away, then I call back on my personal phone and no one answered the phone. Stay away from this clinic, they are ripping people off, the doctor Jim and the staff are incompetent and unprofessional. They lie to you on the phone and to your face. This place is pathetic.

I took my 10 month old granddaughter to this location on 09-14-19 at 1730 hrs. The place was clean & the receptionists were nice. We waited about 10 mins.I loved the Nurse Practitioner. She played a trick on my granddaughter to open her mouth so she cld check her throat. We all laughed 😂Once we entered the exam room, we were in & out with 10 mins.

The very best urgent care i have ever been to. Very clean and well kept. Very great customer service. Very fast workers and the Dr. Who treated my daughter was amazing he was able to talk to her and she normally doesnt like to talk to anyone he was amazing im very happy with my visit here. I’ve been to this location three times. I was lucky the first time the dr was in and we were seen in a timely manner and staff was nice. The other two times I arrived early and the dr wasn’t there yet “running late” third time same thing! They open at 8, there are 4 people ahead of me it’s 8:40 and the dr isn’t here yet. People come early for a reason may e work or school, dr had no consideration of that. If you can’t be on time to your place of business maybe open at a later time, or hire someone that can. On the bright side when the dr finally arrived I was seen quickly and he was really nice and smelled nice. The staff has beeb great every time

This place is very slow.. even when theyre not busy. Ive gone there twice now.. same thing. The girl at the front desk is very unfriendly as well. There were 3 people in front of us and we waited over an hour after we were called back (which was after the 20 minutes we waited up front). Total B.S. in youre in the area, save yourself 2 hours and just go to the Orangecrest urgent care on van buren after 5pm - better care in a shorter time. I couldve gotten faster service at the hospital E.R... I did, however, enjoy listening to the staff laugh and joke around loudly with he doctor while we sitting back there. Update- total wait time 2 hrs 15 .minutes before I decided to just leave and go to the other one after hours

I had a horrible sore throat and didnt want to have to go to the emergency room because the expense and time commitment is ridiculous. I went to Doctors Express and they were great from the receptionist to the Doctor. I received excellent treatment and my recovery was rapid with their help.Highly recommended.

Horrible experience! Was there before the doors opened and was the first one of the day, but somehow it took an hour to get called for vitals and about another half hour in the exam room waiting for doctor. I was actually walking out already, but the receptionist told the doctor and he came out right away. Saw Doctor LaCombe and he did not provide the best service. Quickly checked me and told me what he thought I had and that he would put in a prescription, but did not provide a good explanation of diagnosis or medication I would get, did not ask if I had any questions or anything, just walked out about 2 mins later. I was never given an after visit summary, even though I called a few mins later to request it to be emailed. Then headed to pharmacy and no prescription was found. Called the clinic again and after a few mins of waiting, pharmacy finally got order. To top it off, I was told how much I had to pay based on my co-insurance that day and I paid my dues, but still received a bill afterwards from their 3rd party billing company. I expressed my disatisfaction to Dr. LaCombe, who is apparently the owner of the clinic, and he said he would work on removing the charges, but after going back and forth with the billing company and not being able to reach Dr. LaCombe anymore, the charges were not removed. Never again going to this place.

Worst experience Ever. Let me just start off by saying i still havent received my prescription for anti-biotics. Its been 14 days since i saw the doctor and ive called in 4 times asking about my prescription and even went once in person and every time they said We are so sorry i will personally take care of this and i still dont have it. If i needed these anti-biotics to live i would surely be dead by now. i hope my own body can help me because these doctors and nurses wont. I initially went in to get tested for Covid and paid $100 because they said the results would be ready in 2 - 3 days max and i needed the results fast so i decided to pay the fee instead of going to a free testing site. I got my results 9 days later. My girlfriend who went with me and got tested as well hasnt gotten her results back and its been 14 days. This place is a joke. I understand long wait times but not being able to give me my prescription especially when i called four times and went in person is ridiculous. I Strongly urge patients to look for another clinic. Do it for your health and safety.Update 7/13/2020 its been 3 weeks and I still dont have my prescription for my antibiotics and my gf still doesnt have her resultsUpdate 7/21/2020 It has now been 4 weeks and i still dont have my prescription for my anti-antibiotics or my gf resultsUpdate 5/17/2021 It has now been close to a year and i still dont have my prescription for my anti-antibiotics or my gf results. They didnt take Kaiser but my boyfriend was able to get in for a walk in test. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait. Waited almost 3 hours instead when we could have went to a different location much closer to us and it would have been faster.

I went, and they didnt ask for my insurance, so I asked if they took my insurance. They said I dont know so I asked if they could check. Staff got very offended and angry with me, and after a bunch of back and forth the receptionist said let me call your insurance and ask. She went around a corner, counted to 10 (she didnt realize I could see her) came and said I called them they dont cover us. They werent happy when I left.

Brought my 2 kids here ages 1 and 4 due to what turned out to be, upper respitory infections. The staff was nice, helpful and kind. The facility was clean and well mantained, the complimentary coffee and water sitting out for the puplic is a nice touch. Overall great expierience and a wonderful place to visit when you need to be seen quickly. our whole visit took a little over 1 hour on a sunday morning.

The wait times for the Doctor are ridiculous. He never shows up on time when the UC opens and is gone for hours at a time throughout the day. The staff are really nice, but there really needs to be another Doctor on site. Terrible. Shouldnt have to wait 2 and a half hours inside the examination room to be seen

They are amazing, very caring, attentive, promptly. Easy to go in and out. Especially doctors are easily to communicate and explain every details and steps. Nurses are sweet and omg their water bottles, fruit gummies snack, and coffee!!! Very clean and amazing!

Please read below.My father we think has a blood clot in his leg and my mom went down to the office to ask if they took Care Credit because with covid we lost our insurance so my dad cant see his original doctor anymore.The lady specifically told my mom yes They take care credit.My father waddles down there in pain to get checked out and they deny him and ask if he wants to pay cash instead. They explained we have Medical got approved but the card hasnt come in but hes in the system. They reply that they are a small business that cant access to check if hess covered so with no advice or help they simply say they cant see him. So if anything happens to him Im going to start a huge social media post exposing these frauds that dont care for people and cant even access medical records shameless.

Absolute worse urgent care. If there was an option for zero stars that’s exactly what I would have given them. We waited in room 8 for 5 HOURS! Always telling us we were next. My niece was sick with a fever and throwing up the days before. After 5 hours I had to get aggressive for them to finally come in our room. The “doctor” Jean LaCombe said my niece was congested! Never ever going back there again!

I have been here about 4 times between myself and my children. The doctor and staff are polite and seem to care about what is wrong. I prefer this urgent care over the other one in Moreno Valley. As the doctor seems to go above and beyond.

Cielo is very patient centric. , provides efficient patients services Excellent liason between physicians and patients. Instills a sense of confidence in patient care. Effecient and comprehensive.Savannah was very helpful during this time of Cov/19 pandemic. Your clinic is lucky to have such a great employee. She knows Her job and went out of Her way to provide great care. We felt very comfortable in Her care.

This place scams their patients. My insurance was billed for a covid test in January. I was also billed for $275.00 on top of that.. I refused to pay and they sent the bill to collections. AFC is the worst urgent care Ive ever had to deal with.

Went yesterday at 8am, as the website said that is when they open. Nope... they had a sign on the door saying they don’t open until 9am now and a phone number to call.I was really sick so I went home and waited for 9am. After calling 4 times and getting the voicemail someone answered around 9:05 and said “please hold” and put me on hold.9:20... still on hold. Tried my teenagers phone to make sure I wasn’t forgotten, rang busy.9:30... still on hold. Decide, forget it I’ll just drive there again. Stayed on hold in case someone finally picked up.On the way saw the Minute Clinic at CVS. Went in and checked in. Was sitting with the provider there at 9:50 and after 45 minutes on hold with AFC finally hung up.

The wait time is ridiculous at this place. I had one person ahead of me and had to wait 2 hours to get a room and see the doctor. I always asked the nurse in the front how much longer till I can see the doctor but she always has an excuse (one more person ahead of you, we are changing doctors, etc..). One time I came in to get checked out and they forgot about me that I was waiting in the room. The doctor didn’t even see me and the nurse said to come the next day.

Very friendly service nice and clean clinic very inviting. I have Kaiser but their urgent care is too far from my house so a friend told me about this urgent care and they accepted Kaiser insurance which was great and I didn’t have to drive far into Riverside to take my daughter to urgent care. I’m happy to receive care from this clinic 😊

Helpful when there open, but they close early @6 whenever they feel like it during the week.

One of the worst medical clinics I have ever been to. I hardly ever write reviews and let alone a negative one but this place is the worst of the worst. Not only that but the other NEGATIVE reviews listed are all the same. This place lacks communication with there patients, incompetence in moral values, they make promises and guarantees with no expectations on proper follow up and readines. Stay away if you can especially for any key importants towards your medical.

The M.A was a student Very inexperienced. The Dr was hard to understand very broken English ended up waiting in room for an hour. Never called with any results this a cut rate clinic. I’d pass

I have been here as well as my children for sicknesses. The staff is friendly and prompt. I would recommend going in after 10:00 am. The facility is clean and I feel like the PA and Doctors listen to my concerns and address the issues. Thank you AFC!

My favorite Urgent Care. Facility is clean, staff is friendly and doctor is excellent and to the point. Wait isnt too bad. I always call ahead to make sure they are a bit slow.

Great place! Tina at the front desk is friendly and efficient! The doctors are so nice and have a very good bed side manner! I am so glad I found them 2 years ago when I moved here from the OC!

I had to take my 11 yr old daughter into urgent care because it was an emergency I didnt have time to drop my 3 yr old off with a babysitter. We waited to see a dr for like 45 minutes. My 3 yr old began to throw a fit. Hes 3. I walk in the hallway and ask the nurse how much longer its going to be. She doesnt answer me, gives me a dirty look and the dr comes in and says, There were people before you, but HE (points at my son) cant wait. Then asks if hes in a special needs class! He flat out insinuated that my child is special needs because he couldnt wait in a room for 45 minutes at 🗣3 YEARS OLD.

I took my wife in because she hurt her leg. Their X-ray technician went home on an emergency. They sent us to a different place for an X-ray, said we would get results Saturday. Called us and they said the wouldn’t have results until Monday, called us on Monday said no one to interpret their STAT X-ray until later in the week, tried to refer us to a DIFFERENT DOCTOR. SAVE YOUR TIME AND YOUR INSURANCES MONEY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I would give zero stars. I would not recommend this place for your healthcare needs. Their front desk staff (receptionists, etc.) are unprofessional. They put you on hold for 25 minutes or more if you call with any concerns, questions, or important comments. They dont fully listen to the patients needs and interests. The clinical staff doesnt tell you all of your healthcare options or healthcare solutions.

We were treated quickly and we received the medication we needed

This place is ridiculous, you wait 3 plus hours in the room to be seen. They pick and choose whos next to be seen. Dr schedules people to get a tour of the facility during the day instead of doing it after hours or when there arent any patients waiting. If I was able to give a 0 stars review i would.

I would have given them 5 stars. However, the evening before my trip as I attempted to upload the test results and realized I didnt have the document that stated Negative it read Not Detected. This wording isnt accepted if you dont want to quarantine in Hawaii. So, pay an additional $25.00 for the paperwork to state Negative. (Kaiser provides this service free to its members and turnaround is quicker)

Been here twice on two separate occasions and both times they did not do anything for me. Went in and denied to do anything. One doctor even said your illness will pass by. Not to mention they forgot to give me back my belongings when I first went there. I would not go back there or recommend anyone to go back either. Their doctors look so annoyed and take long when they have someone in the room waiting.

Dr. Tammy was so kind. She helped me with my ear infection!

I have had many visits here and always great professional care, awesome staff and really great doctors. Clean and neat area. Plus they offer you coffee water and snacks for your kids. So far Ill give A+ to this location.
