Great experience!! Needed an xray for my toddler asap they scheduled me an appointment in the next 20 minutes and the practitioner Rosa G. was amazing! My toddler has some sensory issues but she let Dr Rosa touch her feet and check her with the stethoscope. Dr Rosa has good vibes and the magic touch with special needs kids. Front desk was very friendly and xray was super easy not a scary room or machine or noises for kids. Would recommend to anyone looking for an urgent care for adults or children. Thanks again Rosa !!

My experience at the Oak Park Midwest Express Clinic was great. The staff let us know when there were extended wait time. My only.concern is those with children who is coughing, they should remind the parent to make sure theirs and their mask is on correctly. Other than that. The service providers were great.

The nurse at the River Forest location was wonderful! So very pleasant and helpful. And she took all the tests quickly and efficiently. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back there again!

We were able to get seen quickly and get a prescription for our babys ear infection. Rooms were clean and from the reception staff to technicians doing testing swabs, nurses taking vitals, and the PA-C and doctor, everyone was pleasant, helpful, and good with the little one.After the appt, they noticed that the baby had been on a certain antibiotic recently so they changed the prescription to make sure we were rotating which one we use - we were impressed with the very detail oriented and thoughtful care.

I’ve always been skeptical of walk-in clinics, but my son highly recommended Midwest express in River Forest for an ear ache. I was suffering from yesterday. I’m so glad I followed through and was able to see the nurse practitioner who was able to diagnose and prescribe helpful medication. The reception desk was pleasant and polite, Nicole, the nurse practitioner was very trustworthy And went above and beyond to make sure that all of my questions were answered and all of my medication would be ready to begin the healing process. I’m not sure how walk-in clinics are, but this one is very very good. I highly recommended if you are in need of immediate care.

I brought my 9 year old daughter in after she started having flu-like symptoms. The place was packed, as it was “peak” season for illnesses. Despite the amount of people, the entire staff did an excellent job managing the queue, and were very friendly and thoughtful. The doctor we saw was great, and we left with a prescription for the right meds, as well a detailed care plan. She’s already feeling better 24 hours later. I will definitely go back in the future - whether for myself or my young children!

I entered with two cuts on my right hand, and the front staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant, and Dr. Curt did an excellent job of putting me at ease, tending to my injury, and stitching me up promptly. The whole experience was efficient and positive, with no lengthy waits in the lobby or patient room. This place is truly great.

I came in right before closing and the process went very quick and smooth. I seen the nurse and she took my vitals and I seen the doctor about 10 minutes later. The doctor examined me and advised me of my next steps. I have no issues or complaints! I would recommend joining the list online to speed up the process and making sure to fill out all of your information properly.

Great service. The staff is very kind, friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this location. I always receive good service and Im always seen when coming in as a walk in and wait time isn’t bad especially for a walk in clinic. They always acknowledge all of concerns and are extremely helpful. One of the best clinics I have ever visited. Thank you to the staff!

Exceptional Clinical Staff!! Jazmine the APN was stellar. I watched her as I was in the waiting area and as a Nurse, there are things that I look forward to and she hit every marker and exceeded some. Great care, knowledge, efficiency and extremely competent. The waiting area was bustling and she walked every one out to the waiting area and gave lots of encouragement and support. The intake assistant was gracious and compassionate. The front desk staff was just okay.

I take my kids here all the time, and I can’t recommend them enough! The staff is always incredibly friendly and professional, making every visit a positive experience. They truly care about their patients and provide top-quality healthcare every time.

Reception: fine.RN/MD: fine.This physicians assistant. This person led me to a room, shut the door, applied a blood pressure cuff, placed a pulse monitor on my finger, and placed a probe in my ear WITHOUT SAYING ONE WORD TO ME. When she finally spoke she muttered “what brings you in.” Out of context I would have thought she was talking to herself.Then when I gave a urine sample I was asked to leave it here, beside this orange stain. 🤢

Nice people & good doctor, but always an hour+ wait. Today we’re at 1.5 hours and haven’t seen the doctor. Booked a time online but it is basically a ruse (which they do acknowledge in the associated text). You’ll still wait an hour at the clinic.

I came here to treat a bad cut. The wait time was reasonable—about an hour on a Friday afternoon to see a provider, two hours total. Everybody was pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient.

The staff are really friendly at this clinic which makes for a positive experience. They are knowledgeable, informative, provide guidance and are very efficient. Overall & considering one usually feels lousy entering, this clinic is the best I’ve experienced! Keep up the friendly & helpful & knowledgeable care!

Not only was the registration desk fast, efficient, and friendly, the nurse and doctor was even better!Such an inviting atmosphere with them and you are seen quickly! The playlist is FIREEE if you appreciate good music during a rough time lol. Love it here you deserve A1 service - come here :)

I am in a recovery home, its mandatory for a rapid covid once a week. The staff at Midwest are kind. courteous, helpful, and efficient...Great job to everyone there!

We have been to the location multiple times because of the proximity to the school. The physicians are top notch but the employees at the frost desk are always the worst! They refuse to provide an estimated wait time to be see , I guess they don’t understand that this is how people decide if they will wait for care or try another location. There are lots of other urgent cares in the area, my suggestion would be to find another place like we did, with much kinder front desk staff, who are always willing to provide an approximate wait time.

I came in with chills, a persistent cough and extreme back pain, concerned that I might have pneumonia. I was immediately checked and diagnosed with an ear infection and one of the flu variants. Prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy. Care was very prompt, thorough and thoughtful.

I had an episode of vertigo and went in for help. The Dr and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. I will always come here when in between Dr visits. I really liked them.

My son has always had a great experience, he was seen right away, clean facility, nice staff great interaction with staff and physician, I would recommend this clinic, it’s our go to when we’re not able to be seen right away with our pcp

What a time saver! Husband accidentally cut his hands from a glass plate cover and decided to come here instead of an ER. We arrived 40 mins before closing time on a Saturday. Clean and comfortable waiting area. Check in was a breeze, just a few standard paperwork then was called in less than 20 min. Practitioner Kurt is very kind and comforting. Husband received 9 stitches. He is very scared of needles but Kurt talked to him the whole time which made him feel at ease while getting stitched up. Everything went well and we were done in no time. We are so happy we came here instead of waiting forever in an ER. Definitely our Go to Urgent care clinic now. I just wish that their hours are longer.

I have been to this Midwest Express Clinic 3 times, for myself and my partner. Every time they are quick and efficient! Dont expect the same care as your Primary Doctor but when you need something urgent they are thorough and kind. I really appreciate this office instead of MinuteClinic or the ER.

Convenient immediate care clinic with ample hours. I was seen promptly after having checked in online. One note of warning, however: the online check-in is much easier if you use your phone (not a laptop, etc.) because they ask you to upload an ID and insurance information using photos, not PDFs.

BEST EXPERIENCE!! so i went in about 7:30 whole place was packed with people in the lobby they told me rooms were full but they still managed to get me in within 5 mins i told them i had a big cut i might need stitches i was stressing but when i got in the room everyone made me so comfortable. The nurse who did my intake was amazing she made sure i was taken care of before the Provider came in Melanie who was so calming and comforting and did an amazing job. and then i didn’t realize but it was really late around 8:30 so the MA Zee came in and just helped the doctor because most people had already been taken care of and left but she was the sweetest!! and made me relieved because it was almost all over and kept assuring me it was okay and they did everything in their power to make me feel comfortable it felt like i was in there for 20 minutes we left at like 9 pm a whole hour after closing when they could’ve said it’s too late you should go somewhere else. choosing THIS midwest express was the best thing i could have done. thank you guys so much

The staff are very friendly, helpful and they care. I came in around 5 and left at 6pm, they are quick and efficient. The PAs are very knowledgeable and the Nurses are great. The office is clean. They do a great job.

Made it 30 minutes before they were closing. My toddler was seen quickly and staff was so sweet to her. She wasn’t scared at all!

Our PA, Ashley, and her assistant were great and even called back later in the afternoon, to answer a question. We would go back if needed at any time. Thanks

I cut my finger really bad while cleaning a knife the other day. I thought it was a really bad cut, and was really scared, but the staff was able to calm me down. They cleaned the wound, used a type of glue that didnt require stitches, and they gave me a finger brace so I wouldn’t bend my finger. She wrote me a work note and detailed instructions on how to continue care at home. I come back to Midwest Express Clinic time and time again and they are always welcoming and thorough. They also take County Care through Medicaid, where my visits are fully covered. Took me about 5-10 minutes to be seen, which could vary depending on how many people are waiting. Thank you Midwest Express Clinic!

I stopped by the river forest branch and the employees were incredibly kind and accommodating. I arrived in a lot of discomfort, and they were extremely understanding and amiable. I would suggest their services to all of my acquaintances.

I normally visit a lot and I’m always taken care of. I’m a bit of a hypochondriac but I’m never turned away.I came 2x recently on 11/3 and 11/8 and I’m extremely under the weather, coughing, yellow phlegm, my voice is gone and more symptoms. I also have asthma. I expressed pain in my lung. No xray was done. They said allergies. The second time I came on 11/8 the provider WOULD NOT LET ME TALK AND WAS RUSHING. IT WAS NOT EVEN BUSY. She made a comment about 2 visits in one as if I’m “stealing” care. Once again no xray was done. My telehealth provider got me an anabiotic’s and the treatment I needed.

I was hesitant to believe all these positive reviews but my experience at Midwest Express Clinic was truly lovely. So rare do you feel like youre actually listened to at doctors nowadays but all the staff and nurses were friendly and helpful. Doctor helped put my anxieties at ease and I felt good leaving the clinic. Thank you!

The staff was very professional and courteous, essentially the front receptionist. She would continuously ask if the patients were okay while waiting to be seen.

The doctors and nurse were great except the receptionist. I believe she’s Hispanic with dark curly hair shoulder length hair Very rude and condescending.. She lack the ability to take accountability for her mistakes. She argued me up and down that she was right and i was wrong. And come to find out she was wrong the whole time. My information was entered wrong into the system my previous visit. What she should have done was apologize for my inconvenience, instead she looked me dead in my face and said I was lying and that i never been there before.. SMH.. Her co-worker (black nurse) had to help her understand that type of error happens all the time.. River Forest location. Over all this clinic is great. Knowledgeable, friendly and handle Ped’s with love and care. The receptionist is horrible.

I had a medical situation on a Friday evening. I was able to go in and be seen relatively quickly. The staff was pleasant, and the nurse/doctor was knowlegeable.

I checked in and registered online yesterday for my 3:15pm appointment and I was on time. When I checked in at the front desk. I talked to the latino receptionist, told her why I was there and she asked me for my last name. I gave it to her and she said that I was good to go and she would call me up front I she needs any more info. There was a black couple and I white couple there that checked proir to me which I had no problem with. I noticed this was a problem when a white couple came in never registered , the lady with back problems got service before me. Also, another white lady came in with her daughter, was never registered also got service before me. I was last person to get service. There was another Hispanic women talking to the latino receptionist that claimed she checked me in earlier, asked me are you waiting for someone which instantly made me furious because I did my part and have been sitting there for almost an hour. Instead of joking around with her coworker, she should have made sure that I was taken care of as a customer. I hope she gets fired or a written up at least. She made me fill inhuman after sitting there for an hour. If I have to come back up there, I pray she is not the person checking me in. I felt discrimination in a feminist way. It seems like she gives women service first over men which is not fair as a human. I will not recommend any men to go there for service by their selfs only if it is your only option in your area! I also left with no treatment after going through all this mess.

I couldnt get a timely appointment with my doctor for sores on my neck so I went to the Midwest Express Clinic. The nurse practitioner gave me an antibiotic and cream. Both were effective. Plus, I didnt have to wait long.

They got me in and out in under an hour when other places I went to either could not see me at all or said it would be about 5 hours until I was out.Second time I have used them, clean, kind, accurate diagnosis and efficient.God Bless:)John 3:16-17:) Jesus Loves You:):):)

This Express Clinic is great! I’ve brought my daughter here 3 times so far. Service is timely and professional. I always check in online before arrival and thus makes the process easier as well. They have little treats for the kids as you leave. I will for sure to be returning when needed.

*Update*Changed to two stars. After such a poor experience, I felt compelled to speak with a clinical leader. It took some work but after some hassle and getting hung up on, I was finally connected to the same lovely receptionist who was there for my visit. She gave my call back info to the clinical director who actually called back! The clinical director was engaged, empathetic and seemed to care - what a relief!! I hope changes are made so that other clients have a better experience. Minimally, give that receptionist a raise! Shes consistently amazing!***********Not much I can say about this location that is positive. The receptionist was lovely - kind, empathetic and warm. Positive quality care stopped there. The exam rooms were dirty (I was in two different rooms and both were dirty). The medical tech was just short of rude and the intake was awful. She just asked basic questions and didnt provide clarification. Didnt know two of the most commonly prescribed medications on the market today! She took my vitals but didnt share the results and was aggressive with the covid test administration - bringing tears to my eyes. She didnt apologize or seem to even care. The NP who was my provider was nice enough although he seemed burdened to care. I guess my issue wasnt clinically enticing. And to top it off, my prescription was never phoned into my pharmacy! I would not recommend.

I am providing feedback on a recent visit as a trained standardized patient of a national board who has evaluated over 3000 medical professionals in high-stakes clinical settings.Evaluation of this encounter are not based on personal feelings or expectations, rather a criteria used to evaluate medical professionals for licensure.Details of the encounter are as follows:The encounter began with the professional greeting me in a rushed manner. Little to no information was gathered before she left abruptly, delegating my care to another professional. However, no nurse arrived, suggesting either a failure in communication or oversight on her part.When the professional returned, she seemed surprised by the situation and offered an apology. However, she quickly left again, returning only to treat me in a hurried and unprofessional manner, using informal language throughout the interaction. A prescription was provided, but there was no follow-up information or guidance, and I was rushed out without any further direction.In summary, the experience was characterized by a lack of thoroughness, poor communication, and unprofessional conduct. Such behavior represents a failure in patient care and should not be tolerated in a functioning healthcare facility.Encounter Review Result:The conduct of the facility does not meet the minimum requirements for practice according to licensure board clinical exam standards. Changes should be made to provide at least a minimum quality of care.

I came here on July 20th to get a work physical done and due to their “self pay” change I did not get my physical done, however I paid $75 for it before even being seen. Since they didn’t issue my physical I was told I would get my full refund. It has now been almos 3 weeks and I’ve yet to see my refund. The receptionist failed to issue it in the system and I have called countless times not just the billing department but the other advocate line whom they never even answer. It’s ridiculous that I have to call daily for my refund, clearly they need it more.

Greed might be good on Wall Street but Health Care in a local neighborhood is not. I filled out forms that requested enough information about me and my family that I thought I was joining the Military. My top notch HMO insurance was denied. I has no idea what will happen now to the information I handed over to walk in the door now.

The process was very quick and simple. The staff were friendly, thorough, and made sure I had what I needed during my examination. I was in and out in 30 minutes.

If you are sick go to Midwest Clinic.They really take care of their patients ….it is quick fast any easy, especially if you fill out your forms online. I went there and didn’t have to sit round.Being with the medical staff they listen and don’t rush you out.Even if you have to call them back they listen.Thank you for taking care of me .

I was seen very quickly, and treated so kindly, with much consideration and care. From the receptionist ( I didnt get her name), the medical assistant Diamond, to the nurse practitioner, Kurt each one went out of their way to make me feel very comfortable. They showed a genuine interest in my well-being, and it meant a lot. I would return here with any problems I might have in the future, and also highly recommend them!

Reception asks personal identifiable information from incoming patient, in front of waiting patients. Patients can see Computer screens with patient information displayed as they stand inside and alongside the receptionists desk. But otherwise a nice facility.

My experience with MEC was excellent! My wait wasnt unreasonable, the staff efficient and most important to me the PA got the diagnosis correct and prescribed an adequate medication. Two thumbs up!

Was able to sign up on-line for a 8:20a spot in line Saturday morning. We were greeted with a smile and because registered on-line all they needed was a credit card. I was seen no later than 5min after I arrived. Was in and out in about 20 min with a confirmed positive for COVID and a treatment plan. Very thorough and positive experience.

I’ve been to this clinic several times after it came recommended to me. I’m in the exam room waiting on doctor right now, and wanted to write this review. Every time I call or come here for myself or my mother with Alzheimer’s, everyone is so thorough and pleasant. They never say I don’t know, they always say let me find out for you, and the wait is always brief. I don’t come often enough for them to recognize me with preferential treatment either. I highly recommend this clinic. They are always top tier. Thank you for such amazing service and offering more than that - a personal touch to medical care that gives you peace of mind and makes you feel like you matter and they care.

My visit to Midwest Express Clinic was a very surreal experience. I could hardly believe the wonderful, caring, patient centered service. From the intake by a medical assistant to the examination, I could sense the professionalism, felt medically understood and began to expect a good outcome. I am 62 and this reminded me of the compassionate Dr. Marcus Welby TV show from 50 years ago where the medical profession was considered a calling. Thank you guys very much. I started to feel much better the following day after receiving my diagnosis and prescription. As the young people say: You guys rock👏👏🤗🌟💫!

The customer service was good. but it was kind of unprofessional.i went in with a swollen eye (caused by a pimple from a reaction i was having with a topical treatment), rather than giving me medication to reduce the inflammation on my face, the doctor tried to sell me on some skincare and sent me a referral QR code for the products (MLM type of referral). i went to Physcians Immediate Care the next day, got steroids/something for the inflammation that actually helped.

What an amazing experience. The wait was not long at all, the nurse was friendly and caring, doctor was super nice and helped narrow down what exactly was going on. She also set up a 10 min nebulizer for my son to help breathe a bit better after having coughing attacks. Also checked his urine for dehydration which I’m thankful for since I didn’t realize how dehydrated my son really was. My son had been sick for 8 days so I didn’t want to wait for an appt with his primary . So glad I took him here.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience. When I walked in the facility, it was quiet. The receptionist was annoyed,but I moved past it. No one was talking on their speaker phones( that should be a rule!)or any phone for that matter. The facility is aesthetically comfortable, clean, and neat.Just as I was about to ask to turn the volume down on the television (to match the ambience), I was called in to see the nurse practitioner.Nurse Casey was amazing. She was friendly. She listened intently, but explained to me thoroughly what was happening with me. She even involved me in the treatment plan!I wasnt rushed with anything and my visit was quick like I needed it to be.When youre sick, this is type of treatment that matters.

I love coming here for my family. The service is great the staff are so pleasant and respectful. They cater to your needs and make sure that you get the best medical help. And the wait time is not long.

On Saturday I went to receive a treatment for a lower back right side. Doctor asked me to go pee for a test, she diagnosed that it was a Kidney Stone pain. So, she prescribed 2 medications.But, because of an intensive paid, I went to Rush hospital on Sunday morning and doctor found out that it was ShinglesI don’t think it was a good diagnostic at Midwest Express ClinicEB

They have an option to make an appointment online. I got there 10mins prior, maybe two or three other ppl in the lobby. 4:45 comes around no word of how much longer it will be for me. No one advising me that they maybe understaffed or anything. Finally made it to the back by 4:55 at which time the nurse wasn’t pleasant at all. Then waited for another 25-30 minutes to be seen by a doctor. Cld have definitely went to the emergency room and got proper care for all the time spent for nothing

Appointment was on-time, fast, and everyone was really nice. Genesis helped me feel safe during bloodwork, despite it usually scaring me!

This is my second visit to this location and just as the initial visit my experience was pleasant! Fast and friendly service is the reason why I choose the River Forest office!

I just got back home 2 min ago from my second visit to MEC. When I scheduled my initial appointment I really liked how you can check in online. And that basically saves you a lot of time from instead of checking in when you get there. Didn’t wait too long to get seen. Staff were polite and professional. Had two doctors a man and woman come in when I seen them for treatment. Both were a pleasure. Polite, Actually listened to every concern, very professional.Second visit came in for no reason bc the lady at the desk wouldn’t let me speak to the doctor. She was also very rude when I actually got to the clinic also. I don’t want to go into detail bc this is too long as it is lol I felt judged for sure, and honestly was treated like my mom used to say a second class citizen. Other than that one person experience was easy going and professional

Midwest Clinic came highly recommended by a teacher colleague of mine. I have been wanting to get a B12 injection but making an appointment with my Loyola Dr. takes a very long time. After going on a 2 hour hike and walk, I scheduled a time online and pre-registered the same day. Upon arrival, front staff was friendly and courteous which is so important because first impressions count. My wait time was no more than 15 minutes max, and was greeted by another staff member who then gave me my B12 injection. In closing, I have to say, I will be returning for more B12 injections and for other medical non-emergency situations, as well. Thank you for the professional care, the positive first impression, and for the convenience of your clinic and the services you provide to the community at large. Health matters for all!

My favorite urgent care in the Oak Park/River Forest area. Knowledgeable, caring, professional staff. The billing is pretty straightforward and reasonable. Waits are usually not exceptionally long in my experience.

With 3 kids we have unfortunately visited this clinic more times than I would like. Our most recent experience was the potentially most traumatic but turned out to be the best experience we’ve had. My 6 year old fell and had a huge bloody gash. They saw us fairly quickly and the doctor could tell that my daughter was more afraid of getting stitches than was in actual pain. The doctor quickly pivoted to using the term glue instead of stitches and then helped refocus my child to think about her school day instead of the situation. The overall experience was great. Doctors and nurses there are always great with my kids. They have popsicles and other treats too which help. The only reason I’m a 4 instead of a 5 is because the wait times can get pretty long. I know it’s hard to predict but they need more staff during cold and flus seasons

I was very impressed with the level of care received. Our son had anxiety due to this not being the primary care practice. The staff were incredibly patient, non judgemental, flexible and super friendly the entire time.

I went into the clinic because I woke up with a swollen eye. I arrived about an hour before they were getting ready to close. The wait was not bad and the staff was VERY nice and attentive. Everyone made sure I understood my after care instructions before leaving. I had to return the next day for a follow up. The nurse who took my vitals was there and recognized me. She was even more pleasant than the first day. I would definitely go back and recommend this clinic to others!

Everyone was great. I came at 7:40pm. They closed at 8. The dr was able to stitch up a gash on my ankle. All the girls were very nice and friendly

Every time we go to MEC, we are always taken care of with great care. My son was sick and the nurse assistant that took vitals and test was amazing. She encouraged my son to be brave and breathe through his testing (Covid, flu, strep). Once we spoke to the nurse, she was also very patient, kind and informative.I’ve never had a bad experience at this urgent care and so happy it’s close to my house. I applaud all the staff there! The added treats for the kiddos when we leave is also great!

Super pleasant experience. I was able to register online without issue and did not have to wait long to be seen by a doctor. The doctor took the time to hear out my issue (ear congestion - no pun intended). Even went through multiple solutions until we were able to find a fix! Did not feel rushed at all and the nurses/doctors really do show that they care for you through their actions. If I ever have any concerns, I would not hesitate to return for a second opinion

We go there for any little emergency and always take us in in short period of time. Staff and doctors know their stuff. Went for cut for my son to hospital they told is it was 12 hour wait with a cut on his forehead. Left immediately and went to midwest it was 5 minute wait. Same thing with me but had a dog bite (long story) in the face. Again 5 minute or 10 minute wait as a walk in. Definitely my familys choice of urgent care. We go there monthly fo B12 shot also highly recommend!!!

This clinic is simply amazing. I’m so serious. When I arrived the young woman at the front desk was friendly, polite, professional. All of the above. She assisted me and was super helpful and willing to help! The first doctor I saw was also friendly, listened, and had a sense of calm to her. I got what I needed and scheduled a follow-up appointment.Fast forward to three days later at the follow up. I walked in and the same young woman was at the front desk, still happy, polite, friendly. I swear I thought I was in the twilight zone because it’s been a looooooong time since I’ve experienced someone this friendly and authentic. I checked in and a staff member behind the desk joked with me well. The environment there is superb. I’m not even kidding.I get into a room and the nurse comes in. Also, very friendly, compassionate, struck up a great conversation. I finally finished and left.Y’all- I just moved here from MN and this place made me feel as though I was at home, hundreds of miles away from where I was born and raised. This place to simply put it…is amazing. If you need care and compassionate, professional, kind, and genuine medical professional this is the place to go. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

I had an ultrasound the day before at the Melrose clinic and needed follow up which I got at the River Forest location.Front desk staff are all friendly and efficient, and I was seen by a nurse practitioner with 10 minutes. She had my ultrasound results and explained them thoroughly, anf gave me a referral for a follow up with a specialist.This kind of medical service is like those I have experienced in other countries who demonstrate their values of providing solid heath care services to all, without the high prices and waiting times.It’s great to have Midwest clinics closeby and know I don’t have to wait for days, or even weeks, to see a doc at a traditional practice.Thank you Midwest!

When no one else would help me, they helped a LOT—and much more quickly than id expected! In spite of a full waiting room, the whole process of checking in, filling out paperwork, and actually seeing a doctor (okay, nurse practitioner, but still) took about 20minutes! The receptionist treated me as if I was (almost) their only patient! The nurse I saw was friendly, informative, and prescribed lots of medicine—including a drug that helped me sleep through the night without coughing! It’s gonna take a few days, but I’m feeling a lot better.

The most inefficient clinic! People are great and this is not to blame anyone that works here, but they have to have more efficient checkin process. One that doesn’t include a 20min line, followed by being handed papers to fill out, filling out the papers just to wait until the one receptionist working the line enters your paper work so you can get into the queue. Once you’re in the queue, you’re then waiting for your turn. It took hours and could be easily reduced. By the way, I’m a returning patient!!! This is the process for every visit. So bad. Doesn’t help that the water offered in the lobby has no cups, even when asked. I’ll tell you what, if you need something quick and simple like a strep test, don’t come here, worth a drive to go somewhere more efficient. Even just a “we will call you when you’re next” would be nice.

Always a smooth and welcoming experience coming to this clinic. Staff is usually friendly and helpful. The providers are attentive and show compassion. Online check in makes it easy, I just wish I didn’t have to load DL and Ins EACH time. Other than that Wait times are to be expected during peak seasons, but the atmosphere is calm and clean, and better than the ER if it’s not an emergency.

I had a really quick experience here on a Sunday morning. It was very easy to schedule a place in line and fill out the registration forms ahead of time. Everything was very efficient, and I would definitely visit again if needed.

My 4 year old had an accident while playing outside that required stitches. Andrew, Yuli and Genesis were so attentive and prompt getting us checked in and making sure we understood our options. Jasmin (our saving grace) did an amazing job with our 4year old, he had no idea he was getting stitches and she also kept my husband and I calm through the entire process. Everyone was very kind and professional. I waited a very minimal amount of time, especially when you compare to what happens when you go to the ER.

Reception was pretty meh and then I had to sign a form that says they will automatically charge my credit card for any overage not covered by insurance.I dont have a problem paying for my bill, but its pretty common for medical bills to be wrong and to charge extravagant prices that are not allowed by insurance.I dont like that they have this policy to charge you without disclosing the dispute process in add much detail as they describe how they will automatically charge your card.Sure, they also offer that you can pay for everything in full today, but that means you cant use insurance.Update, signing in online doesnt seem to matter. If I had come in earlier I wouldve been seen earlier, I guess. She said they take walk-ins too. I was in line as number 4 online and it said to arrive at 825. I did so and somehow a guy who came in after me and said he was registered for 830 went in before me along with at least 4 other people. I finally got in about 915.

While there was a little bit of a wait (~45 minutes), the clinic staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Dr. Jasmine and Patricia both were so sweet in a stressful hour. They explained things clearly, wrote down things I might need to know how to spell, and they called later to check in on me.Their genuine care was much appreciated!

We brought my 18 month old to the clinic in River Forest, IL. yesterday. He was exhibiting signs for RSV and croup. We met with Nurse Tricia who went above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable, and urged us to go to the ER for further care. We spent the day in the ER, and had a voicemail from Nurse Tricia who had called after her shift was over - just to check in on my son and his well-being. My Visit at the Midwest Express Clinic in River Forest on October 19 was very pleasant from the time I walked into the door. The clerk greeted me a welcoming smile, the physician assistant explained everything is was going to do until she transition me the physician. The physician sympathized with what I was going through. She explained what the cause of my problem was and prescribed something to make it all better. I have started using the medication and I do feel better. I am so very glad I went to Midwest Express Clinic.

This place is a scam the nurse sat with me for five minutes wrote a script for a Zpack and they charge 520$ for that a complete ripoff and they should be ashamed.I will not fill out the form your clinic charged an absurd amount of moneyit would have been cheaper for me to do a cash payment with no insurance for the full office visit with my MD than use your services. If your interested in where to improvecharge less to see a NP who is NOT a doctor who has less than half the education of a doctor than it would cost me to see a MD who has at minimum double the education of the NP.at least I know how this clinic operates and never to use again.all others be warned when the bill comes seeing your real doctor will probably cost less than seeing a masters level nurse.

I am always shocked at the lack of compassion that I experience from some health care providers. On one of my worst days, in a vulnerable position, the front desk associate met me with an attitude of being inconvenienced. On top of that, you have to announce ‘what brings you in’ so every other patient can hear. This place is so tiny that every seat was occupied. I decided I was in too much pain to stand and wait an unknown amount of time. I headed to the ER where I felt they were better equipped to help me. I won’t consider visiting this place again because of the way I felt when I left, and I’m not referring to the ailment I arrived with.

On Sunday I visited this clinic for the first time for an allergic reaction. The staff was very pleasant. I was in and out in about an hour. I would most definitely use them again in the future.

Had a great experience, there was a bit of a wait due to the current illness outbreaks-but no where near as long as other places. The APN, Tricia, was so great and informative and took really great care of me- will definitely come back when I or my family need care!

Good luck going here if you were involved in a car accident. They would not treat my brother who was involved in a car accident without getting CAR INSURANCE and tried charging him an additional $150. They are not familiar with how to handle 3rd party liability claims whatsoever. I called the Midwest Express Clinic near us and they said all we needed was to provide the insurance claim number.

The customer service at the front desk was great and my nurse practitioner was extremely compassionate towards my concerns. She noticed issues in which a doctor that I had seen two days before missed! I feel so much better.I highly recommend this place

Every time I go there I feel like a person, not just a patient the Drs, nurses,even staff go beyond to help you outI have small veins that move alot, they took my suggestion to use a butterfly clip (normally used for children when drawing blood) in stride when I told them I normally have to have in order for them to draw blood when they had trouble in getting a vein in my arm ...after trying I then offer the top of my hand to draw blood from which was successful.They are always very professional, patience and kind. I like everything bout this place, the location, its clean, the hours, opened early closed later seven days a week, the music is aways nice, not loud, and not boring while in the room waiting on the drs..just an enjoyable experience all-round.So glad this clinic is available to me they have an amazing staff and company. I really appreciate them very much..make an appointment today you will not regret it ...

I went in for a B12 shot, something quick. I was worried because it was packed in the waiting area. But I was in and out in maybe 10 mins. My med tech, I think her name was Perri, was every bit of awesome. It was a great experience. Id say Id go back but I live in Elgin. So, I may or may not be. But if its in your area, definitely stop in, service was great.

Waited almost 2 hours for an xray of ONE FINGER. Had an “appointment.” Online it says “appointment” reduces wait time by 50%. Does that mean a person with no “appointment” would have waited 4 hours for an xray of ONE FINGER? “Appointment” time does not mean anything. Providers are great but the clinic is run very poorly. Didn’t want to take my ONE FINGER to the emergency room but I suppose I will take it elsewhere next time.Oh and a representative WILL call you every single day if you leave a bad review. Source: personal experience. I certainly did not consent to the use of my personal phone number in this manner.

I have relied on the Midwest Express in River Forest the last 4 years for maybe a half dozen visits—yesterday being one. Check-in is seamless and pleasant…the waiting area is clean and offers areas where you can sit somewhat privately/away from others…the triage nurses are super friendly and actually smile (shout-out to Cari from yesterday!)…and the doctors and PAs that I have seen (or my daughter) explain everything clearly and offer a local/community touch - meaning it doesn’t feel like a “big box” hospital setting.

Melanie was a huge help with my mom and her cut on her little toe. She gave her instructions as to how to handle it for the next couple of days. My mom did call back that evening as the bandaid fell off and Melanie was helpful over the phone also. Thanks for being in the area.
