I entered with two cuts on my right hand, and the front staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant, and Dr. Curt did an excellent job of putting me at ease, tending to my injury, and stitching me up promptly. The whole experience was efficient and positive, with no lengthy waits in the lobby or patient room. This place is truly great.

What a time saver! Husband accidentally cut his hands from a glass plate cover and decided to come here instead of an ER. We arrived 40 mins before closing time on a Saturday. Clean and comfortable waiting area. Check in was a breeze, just a few standard paperwork then was called in less than 20 min. Practitioner Kurt is very kind and comforting. Husband received 9 stitches. He is very scared of needles but Kurt talked to him the whole time which made him feel at ease while getting stitched up. Everything went well and we were done in no time. We are so happy we came here instead of waiting forever in an ER. Definitely our Go to Urgent care clinic now. I just wish that their hours are longer.

Reception: fine.RN/MD: fine.This physicians assistant. This person led me to a room, shut the door, applied a blood pressure cuff, placed a pulse monitor on my finger, and placed a probe in my ear WITHOUT SAYING ONE WORD TO ME. When she finally spoke she muttered “what brings you in.” Out of context I would have thought she was talking to herself.Then when I gave a urine sample I was asked to leave it here, beside this orange stain. 🤢

I cut my finger really bad while cleaning a knife the other day. I thought it was a really bad cut, and was really scared, but the staff was able to calm me down. They cleaned the wound, used a type of glue that didnt require stitches, and they gave me a finger brace so I wouldn’t bend my finger. She wrote me a work note and detailed instructions on how to continue care at home. I come back to Midwest Express Clinic time and time again and they are always welcoming and thorough. They also take County Care through Medicaid, where my visits are fully covered. Took me about 5-10 minutes to be seen, which could vary depending on how many people are waiting. Thank you Midwest Express Clinic!

This Express Clinic is great! I’ve brought my daughter here 3 times so far. Service is timely and professional. I always check in online before arrival and thus makes the process easier as well. They have little treats for the kids as you leave. I will for sure to be returning when needed.

My visit to Midwest Express Clinic was a very surreal experience. I could hardly believe the wonderful, caring, patient centered service. From the intake by a medical assistant to the examination, I could sense the professionalism, felt medically understood and began to expect a good outcome. I am 62 and this reminded me of the compassionate Dr. Marcus Welby TV show from 50 years ago where the medical profession was considered a calling. Thank you guys very much. I started to feel much better the following day after receiving my diagnosis and prescription. As the young people say: You guys rock👏👏🤗🌟💫!

I was seen very quickly, and treated so kindly, with much consideration and care. From the receptionist ( I didnt get her name), the medical assistant Diamond, to the nurse practitioner, Kurt each one went out of their way to make me feel very comfortable. They showed a genuine interest in my well-being, and it meant a lot. I would return here with any problems I might have in the future, and also highly recommend them!

I’ve been to this clinic several times after it came recommended to me. I’m in the exam room waiting on doctor right now, and wanted to write this review. Every time I call or come here for myself or my mother with Alzheimer’s, everyone is so thorough and pleasant. They never say I don’t know, they always say let me find out for you, and the wait is always brief. I don’t come often enough for them to recognize me with preferential treatment either. I highly recommend this clinic. They are always top tier. Thank you for such amazing service and offering more than that - a personal touch to medical care that gives you peace of mind and makes you feel like you matter and they care.

They got me in and out in under an hour when other places I went to either could not see me at all or said it would be about 5 hours until I was out.Second time I have used them, clean, kind, accurate diagnosis and efficient.God Bless:)John 3:16-17:) Jesus Loves You:):):)

I love coming here for my family. The service is great the staff are so pleasant and respectful. They cater to your needs and make sure that you get the best medical help. And the wait time is not long.

My experience with MEC was excellent! My wait wasnt unreasonable, the staff efficient and most important to me the PA got the diagnosis correct and prescribed an adequate medication. Two thumbs up!

Greed might be good on Wall Street but Health Care in a local neighborhood is not. I filled out forms that requested enough information about me and my family that I thought I was joining the Military. My top notch HMO insurance was denied. I has no idea what will happen now to the information I handed over to walk in the door now.

Was able to sign up on-line for a 8:20a spot in line Saturday morning. We were greeted with a smile and because registered on-line all they needed was a credit card. I was seen no later than 5min after I arrived. Was in and out in about 20 min with a confirmed positive for COVID and a treatment plan. Very thorough and positive experience.

I was hesitant to believe all these positive reviews but my experience at Midwest Express Clinic was truly lovely. So rare do you feel like youre actually listened to at doctors nowadays but all the staff and nurses were friendly and helpful. Doctor helped put my anxieties at ease and I felt good leaving the clinic. Thank you!

*Update*Changed to two stars. After such a poor experience, I felt compelled to speak with a clinical leader. It took some work but after some hassle and getting hung up on, I was finally connected to the same lovely receptionist who was there for my visit. She gave my call back info to the clinical director who actually called back! The clinical director was engaged, empathetic and seemed to care - what a relief!! I hope changes are made so that other clients have a better experience. Minimally, give that receptionist a raise! Shes consistently amazing!***********Not much I can say about this location that is positive. The receptionist was lovely - kind, empathetic and warm. Positive quality care stopped there. The exam rooms were dirty (I was in two different rooms and both were dirty). The medical tech was just short of rude and the intake was awful. She just asked basic questions and didnt provide clarification. Didnt know two of the most commonly prescribed medications on the market today! She took my vitals but didnt share the results and was aggressive with the covid test administration - bringing tears to my eyes. She didnt apologize or seem to even care. The NP who was my provider was nice enough although he seemed burdened to care. I guess my issue wasnt clinically enticing. And to top it off, my prescription was never phoned into my pharmacy! I would not recommend.

The doctors and nurse were great except the receptionist. I believe she’s Hispanic with dark curly hair shoulder length hair Very rude and condescending.. She lack the ability to take accountability for her mistakes. She argued me up and down that she was right and i was wrong. And come to find out she was wrong the whole time. My information was entered wrong into the system my previous visit. What she should have done was apologize for my inconvenience, instead she looked me dead in my face and said I was lying and that i never been there before.. SMH.. Her co-worker (black nurse) had to help her understand that type of error happens all the time.. River Forest location. Over all this clinic is great. Knowledgeable, friendly and handle Ped’s with love and care. The receptionist is horrible.

What an amazing experience. The wait was not long at all, the nurse was friendly and caring, doctor was super nice and helped narrow down what exactly was going on. She also set up a 10 min nebulizer for my son to help breathe a bit better after having coughing attacks. Also checked his urine for dehydration which I’m thankful for since I didn’t realize how dehydrated my son really was. My son had been sick for 8 days so I didn’t want to wait for an appt with his primary . So glad I took him here.

Midwest Clinic came highly recommended by a teacher colleague of mine. I have been wanting to get a B12 injection but making an appointment with my Loyola Dr. takes a very long time. After going on a 2 hour hike and walk, I scheduled a time online and pre-registered the same day. Upon arrival, front staff was friendly and courteous which is so important because first impressions count. My wait time was no more than 15 minutes max, and was greeted by another staff member who then gave me my B12 injection. In closing, I have to say, I will be returning for more B12 injections and for other medical non-emergency situations, as well. Thank you for the professional care, the positive first impression, and for the convenience of your clinic and the services you provide to the community at large. Health matters for all!

This place is very clean. The staff are really efficient and professional. I even called back for some information and the duty nurse attended to my needs. I’m very appreciative to them all.

They have an option to make an appointment online. I got there 10mins prior, maybe two or three other ppl in the lobby. 4:45 comes around no word of how much longer it will be for me. No one advising me that they maybe understaffed or anything. Finally made it to the back by 4:55 at which time the nurse wasn’t pleasant at all. Then waited for another 25-30 minutes to be seen by a doctor. Cld have definitely went to the emergency room and got proper care for all the time spent for nothing

I had an absolutely fantastic experience. When I walked in the facility, it was quiet. The receptionist was annoyed,but I moved past it. No one was talking on their speaker phones( that should be a rule!)or any phone for that matter. The facility is aesthetically comfortable, clean, and neat.Just as I was about to ask to turn the volume down on the television (to match the ambience), I was called in to see the nurse practitioner.Nurse Casey was amazing. She was friendly. She listened intently, but explained to me thoroughly what was happening with me. She even involved me in the treatment plan!I wasnt rushed with anything and my visit was quick like I needed it to be.When youre sick, this is type of treatment that matters.

I am providing feedback on a recent visit as a trained standardized patient of a national board who has evaluated over 3000 medical professionals in high-stakes clinical settings.Evaluation of this encounter are not based on personal feelings or expectations, rather a criteria used to evaluate medical professionals for licensure.Details of the encounter are as follows:The encounter began with the professional greeting me in a rushed manner. Little to no information was gathered before she left abruptly, delegating my care to another professional. However, no nurse arrived, suggesting either a failure in communication or oversight on her part.When the professional returned, she seemed surprised by the situation and offered an apology. However, she quickly left again, returning only to treat me in a hurried and unprofessional manner, using informal language throughout the interaction. A prescription was provided, but there was no follow-up information or guidance, and I was rushed out without any further direction.In summary, the experience was characterized by a lack of thoroughness, poor communication, and unprofessional conduct. Such behavior represents a failure in patient care and should not be tolerated in a functioning healthcare facility.Encounter Review Result:The conduct of the facility does not meet the minimum requirements for practice according to licensure board clinical exam standards. Changes should be made to provide at least a minimum quality of care.

I was very impressed with the level of care received. Our son had anxiety due to this not being the primary care practice. The staff were incredibly patient, non judgemental, flexible and super friendly the entire time.

The customer service was good. but it was kind of unprofessional.i went in with a swollen eye (caused by a pimple from a reaction i was having with a topical treatment), rather than giving me medication to reduce the inflammation on my face, the doctor tried to sell me on some skincare and sent me a referral QR code for the products (MLM type of referral). i went to Physcians Immediate Care the next day, got steroids/something for the inflammation that actually helped.

I came here on July 20th to get a work physical done and due to their “self pay” change I did not get my physical done, however I paid $75 for it before even being seen. Since they didn’t issue my physical I was told I would get my full refund. It has now been almos 3 weeks and I’ve yet to see my refund. The receptionist failed to issue it in the system and I have called countless times not just the billing department but the other advocate line whom they never even answer. It’s ridiculous that I have to call daily for my refund, clearly they need it more.

)I have had terrible shoulder pain for two weeks, so I sought help from Midwest Express Clinic last evening. The physician who saw me was Dr. Aziz. I am grateful for her kind approach to my issue, and I appreciate her knowledge,competence, and thoroughness in examining my shoulder. I left feeling confident that her medical advice would help me obtain relief.

If you are sick go to Midwest Clinic.They really take care of their patients ….it is quick fast any easy, especially if you fill out your forms online. I went there and didn’t have to sit round.Being with the medical staff they listen and don’t rush you out.Even if you have to call them back they listen.Thank you for taking care of me .

Everyone was great. I came at 7:40pm. They closed at 8. The dr was able to stitch up a gash on my ankle. All the girls were very nice and friendly

I just got back home 2 min ago from my second visit to MEC. When I scheduled my initial appointment I really liked how you can check in online. And that basically saves you a lot of time from instead of checking in when you get there. Didn’t wait too long to get seen. Staff were polite and professional. Had two doctors a man and woman come in when I seen them for treatment. Both were a pleasure. Polite, Actually listened to every concern, very professional.Second visit came in for no reason bc the lady at the desk wouldn’t let me speak to the doctor. She was also very rude when I actually got to the clinic also. I don’t want to go into detail bc this is too long as it is lol I felt judged for sure, and honestly was treated like my mom used to say a second class citizen. Other than that one person experience was easy going and professional

I had an ultrasound the day before at the Melrose clinic and needed follow up which I got at the River Forest location.Front desk staff are all friendly and efficient, and I was seen by a nurse practitioner with 10 minutes. She had my ultrasound results and explained them thoroughly, anf gave me a referral for a follow up with a specialist.This kind of medical service is like those I have experienced in other countries who demonstrate their values of providing solid heath care services to all, without the high prices and waiting times.It’s great to have Midwest clinics closeby and know I don’t have to wait for days, or even weeks, to see a doc at a traditional practice.Thank you Midwest!

The place was clean. The wait was a little too long but when I saw the doctor, she was very pleasant and thorough. I felt heard and was not disappointed with my level of care.

Ive been to this clinic several times and they have always taken good care of me. They are very professional and efficient. Most important they are always concerned and kind.

We go there for any little emergency and always take us in in short period of time. Staff and doctors know their stuff. Went for cut for my son to hospital they told is it was 12 hour wait with a cut on his forehead. Left immediately and went to midwest it was 5 minute wait. Same thing with me but had a dog bite (long story) in the face. Again 5 minute or 10 minute wait as a walk in. Definitely my familys choice of urgent care. We go there monthly fo B12 shot also highly recommend!!!

My favorite urgent care in the Oak Park/River Forest area. Knowledgeable, caring, professional staff. The billing is pretty straightforward and reasonable. Waits are usually not exceptionally long in my experience.

On Saturday I went to receive a treatment for a lower back right side. Doctor asked me to go pee for a test, she diagnosed that it was a Kidney Stone pain. So, she prescribed 2 medications.But, because of an intensive paid, I went to Rush hospital on Sunday morning and doctor found out that it was ShinglesI don’t think it was a good diagnostic at Midwest Express ClinicEB

With 3 kids we have unfortunately visited this clinic more times than I would like. Our most recent experience was the potentially most traumatic but turned out to be the best experience we’ve had. My 6 year old fell and had a huge bloody gash. They saw us fairly quickly and the doctor could tell that my daughter was more afraid of getting stitches than was in actual pain. The doctor quickly pivoted to using the term glue instead of stitches and then helped refocus my child to think about her school day instead of the situation. The overall experience was great. Doctors and nurses there are always great with my kids. They have popsicles and other treats too which help. The only reason I’m a 4 instead of a 5 is because the wait times can get pretty long. I know it’s hard to predict but they need more staff during cold and flus seasons

They lost my lab results and I had to get them done again the next day which doesnt make any sense to me. Not only that but they charged my insurance again for their mistake.

My 10 month old baby needed to have blood drawn. Alan did such a good job, baby didn’t even cry during blood draw.

I really love the service and professionally done great time I will definitely come back for my next appointment

With three young children I have been to this urgent care more than I would like… However, we always have the best experience! The nurses, doctors, and staff are so cheerful and friendly. We never have to wait too long. They’re fun and sweet with the kids. And they always take good care of us! The facilities are clean my kids actually get excited to go 😂🙈

Every time we go to MEC, we are always taken care of with great care. My son was sick and the nurse assistant that took vitals and test was amazing. She encouraged my son to be brave and breathe through his testing (Covid, flu, strep). Once we spoke to the nurse, she was also very patient, kind and informative.I’ve never had a bad experience at this urgent care and so happy it’s close to my house. I applaud all the staff there! The added treats for the kiddos when we leave is also great!

Quick service and professional for bloodwork. Got my results in 3 days. I’ll definitely be going there again.

I had a really quick experience here on a Sunday morning. It was very easy to schedule a place in line and fill out the registration forms ahead of time. Everything was very efficient, and I would definitely visit again if needed.

Visited the clinic under an emergency everyone was cordial kind and understanding and most of all took care of me in a caring manner.

Super pleasant experience. I was able to register online without issue and did not have to wait long to be seen by a doctor. The doctor took the time to hear out my issue (ear congestion - no pun intended). Even went through multiple solutions until we were able to find a fix! Did not feel rushed at all and the nurses/doctors really do show that they care for you through their actions. If I ever have any concerns, I would not hesitate to return for a second opinion

This clinic is simply amazing. I’m so serious. When I arrived the young woman at the front desk was friendly, polite, professional. All of the above. She assisted me and was super helpful and willing to help! The first doctor I saw was also friendly, listened, and had a sense of calm to her. I got what I needed and scheduled a follow-up appointment.Fast forward to three days later at the follow up. I walked in and the same young woman was at the front desk, still happy, polite, friendly. I swear I thought I was in the twilight zone because it’s been a looooooong time since I’ve experienced someone this friendly and authentic. I checked in and a staff member behind the desk joked with me well. The environment there is superb. I’m not even kidding.I get into a room and the nurse comes in. Also, very friendly, compassionate, struck up a great conversation. I finally finished and left.Y’all- I just moved here from MN and this place made me feel as though I was at home, hundreds of miles away from where I was born and raised. This place to simply put it…is amazing. If you need care and compassionate, professional, kind, and genuine medical professional this is the place to go. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

The most inefficient clinic! People are great and this is not to blame anyone that works here, but they have to have more efficient checkin process. One that doesn’t include a 20min line, followed by being handed papers to fill out, filling out the papers just to wait until the one receptionist working the line enters your paper work so you can get into the queue. Once you’re in the queue, you’re then waiting for your turn. It took hours and could be easily reduced. By the way, I’m a returning patient!!! This is the process for every visit. So bad. Doesn’t help that the water offered in the lobby has no cups, even when asked. I’ll tell you what, if you need something quick and simple like a strep test, don’t come here, worth a drive to go somewhere more efficient. Even just a “we will call you when you’re next” would be nice.

On Sunday I visited this clinic for the first time for an allergic reaction. The staff was very pleasant. I was in and out in about an hour. I would most definitely use them again in the future.

I went into the clinic because I woke up with a swollen eye. I arrived about an hour before they were getting ready to close. The wait was not bad and the staff was VERY nice and attentive. Everyone made sure I understood my after care instructions before leaving. I had to return the next day for a follow up. The nurse who took my vitals was there and recognized me. She was even more pleasant than the first day. I would definitely go back and recommend this clinic to others!

I was initially nervous, as doctors appointments can be daunting, but Mirah was both professional and incredibly caring throughout the process.

Good luck going here if you were involved in a car accident. They would not treat my brother who was involved in a car accident without getting CAR INSURANCE and tried charging him an additional $150. They are not familiar with how to handle 3rd party liability claims whatsoever. I called the Midwest Express Clinic near us and they said all we needed was to provide the insurance claim number.

This place is a scam the nurse sat with me for five minutes wrote a script for a Zpack and they charge 520$ for that a complete ripoff and they should be ashamed.I will not fill out the form your clinic charged an absurd amount of moneyit would have been cheaper for me to do a cash payment with no insurance for the full office visit with my MD than use your services. If your interested in where to improvecharge less to see a NP who is NOT a doctor who has less than half the education of a doctor than it would cost me to see a MD who has at minimum double the education of the NP.at least I know how this clinic operates and never to use again.all others be warned when the bill comes seeing your real doctor will probably cost less than seeing a masters level nurse.

Had a very long wait the day of appointment and was given an incorrect diagnosis. I had to go to the hospital the next day as my symptoms progressed and found out what was actually wrong with me

Jenni Hernandez was so gentle and kind towards my daughter who is only 18 months that we had to bring in. She even took the time to follow up and call the next day to see how she was doing. All staff was kind and considering how busy it was they still took us pretty quickly.

The staff here are extremely kind. I am always anxious to go to the doctor, so I was relieved that everyone was so respectful. The receptionist made the process clear and my medical assistant and provider both made me feel heard and cared for. The care I received was compassionate and I left with a clear treatment plan and knowledge of what to be aware of in terms of my condition worsening. The team here is great!

When no one else would help me, they helped a LOT—and much more quickly than id expected! In spite of a full waiting room, the whole process of checking in, filling out paperwork, and actually seeing a doctor (okay, nurse practitioner, but still) took about 20minutes! The receptionist treated me as if I was (almost) their only patient! The nurse I saw was friendly, informative, and prescribed lots of medicine—including a drug that helped me sleep through the night without coughing! It’s gonna take a few days, but I’m feeling a lot better.

It was a busy day and the wait was longer than usual. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Nurse Carney was great! All my needs were addressed and I’m on my to recovery from a sinus infection. I highly recommend this location to family & friends.

It is always a Pleasant experience at Midwest express clinic, they get you in and out plus the office is always clean and the staff are extra nice. i would definitely refer this office to anyone looking for urgent care.Midwest express keep up the good work.

I have relied on the Midwest Express in River Forest the last 4 years for maybe a half dozen visits—yesterday being one. Check-in is seamless and pleasant…the waiting area is clean and offers areas where you can sit somewhat privately/away from others…the triage nurses are super friendly and actually smile (shout-out to Cari from yesterday!)…and the doctors and PAs that I have seen (or my daughter) explain everything clearly and offer a local/community touch - meaning it doesn’t feel like a “big box” hospital setting.

I was able to get a return work exam and note. I was very happy they accepted my insurance.

Reception was pretty meh and then I had to sign a form that says they will automatically charge my credit card for any overage not covered by insurance.I dont have a problem paying for my bill, but its pretty common for medical bills to be wrong and to charge extravagant prices that are not allowed by insurance.I dont like that they have this policy to charge you without disclosing the dispute process in add much detail as they describe how they will automatically charge your card.Sure, they also offer that you can pay for everything in full today, but that means you cant use insurance.Update, signing in online doesnt seem to matter. If I had come in earlier I wouldve been seen earlier, I guess. She said they take walk-ins too. I was in line as number 4 online and it said to arrive at 825. I did so and somehow a guy who came in after me and said he was registered for 830 went in before me along with at least 4 other people. I finally got in about 915.

Always a smooth and welcoming experience coming to this clinic. Staff is usually friendly and helpful. The providers are attentive and show compassion. Online check in makes it easy, I just wish I didn’t have to load DL and Ins EACH time. Other than that Wait times are to be expected during peak seasons, but the atmosphere is calm and clean, and better than the ER if it’s not an emergency.

Amazing location! Health providers are all eager to help. I was greeted with prompt service early when they opened. The nurse and nurse practitioner listened to my concerns, quickly assessed and helped me with my concern. I had another visit where I had to switch a prescription and they quickly made the change over the phone. Very reliable team!

While there was a little bit of a wait (~45 minutes), the clinic staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Dr. Jasmine and Patricia both were so sweet in a stressful hour. They explained things clearly, wrote down things I might need to know how to spell, and they called later to check in on me.Their genuine care was much appreciated!

Everyone so professional, was in and out in no time had my prescription sent over to the pharmacy picked it up with no hassles no problems. I definitely will use this place again and I asked the rest of you to do the same.

Weve always had great experiences at this clinic, but I feel even better knowing that Maggie O. is a provider there now. Shes a former colleague, and probably the smartest person Ive ever worked with.

I am always shocked at the lack of compassion that I experience from some health care providers. On one of my worst days, in a vulnerable position, the front desk associate met me with an attitude of being inconvenienced. On top of that, you have to announce ‘what brings you in’ so every other patient can hear. This place is so tiny that every seat was occupied. I decided I was in too much pain to stand and wait an unknown amount of time. I headed to the ER where I felt they were better equipped to help me. I won’t consider visiting this place again because of the way I felt when I left, and I’m not referring to the ailment I arrived with.

I went in for a B12 shot, something quick. I was worried because it was packed in the waiting area. But I was in and out in maybe 10 mins. My med tech, I think her name was Perri, was every bit of awesome. It was a great experience. Id say Id go back but I live in Elgin. So, I may or may not be. But if its in your area, definitely stop in, service was great.

Ive never been to this particular location before but Im glad I went there. The place is very clean and Staff was very polite. The doctor was awesome. The wait time was longer than expected but overal it was a positive experience.

Waited almost 2 hours for an xray of ONE FINGER. Had an “appointment.” Online it says “appointment” reduces wait time by 50%. Does that mean a person with no “appointment” would have waited 4 hours for an xray of ONE FINGER? “Appointment” time does not mean anything. Providers are great but the clinic is run very poorly. Didn’t want to take my ONE FINGER to the emergency room but I suppose I will take it elsewhere next time.Oh and a representative WILL call you every single day if you leave a bad review. Source: personal experience. I certainly did not consent to the use of my personal phone number in this manner.

My 4 year old had an accident while playing outside that required stitches. Andrew, Yuli and Genesis were so attentive and prompt getting us checked in and making sure we understood our options. Jasmin (our saving grace) did an amazing job with our 4year old, he had no idea he was getting stitches and she also kept my husband and I calm through the entire process. So thankful for the great service the day before Labor Day! We will always be loyal clients because of the great care you provided. Thank you so much! :-)

Had a great experience, there was a bit of a wait due to the current illness outbreaks-but no where near as long as other places. The APN, Tricia, was so great and informative and took really great care of me- will definitely come back when I or my family need care!

My Visit at the Midwest Express Clinic in River Forest on October 19 was very pleasant from the time I walked into the door. The clerk greeted me a welcoming smile, the physician assistant explained everything is was going to do until she transition me the physician. The physician sympathized with what I was going through. She explained what the cause of my problem was and prescribed something to make it all better. I have started using the medication and I do feel better. I am so very glad I went to Midwest Express Clinic.

My experience at Midwest Express was as good as one could expext. The staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The doctor was thorough and didnt rush through the examination. Two thumbs up!

The front desk lady who signed me in was wonderful! She engaged with customers as if they were her friend.I didnt get a chance to talk much with the lady who took my history and vitals. We brought my 18 month old to the clinic in River Forest, IL. yesterday. He was exhibiting signs for RSV and croup. We met with Nurse Tricia who went above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable, and urged us to go to the ER for further care. We spent the day in the ER, and had a voicemail from Nurse Tricia who had called after her shift was over - just to check in on my son and his well-being. Unbelievable service and people at Midwest Clinic Express. Thank you! 🩷

I was seen on 11/19/23. I dont remember the clinicians name, but she had a very gentle spirit. She was very thorough. Perri did my vitals and she was very professional and gentle as well. It was busy but they moves everyone at a steady pace.

We were turned away at another Midwest location in Cicero. After being told we could be seen. The secretary at the River Forest location was pleasant she said we were able to be seen. When we arrived everyone was pleasant they moved swiftly and efficient. I was pleased with our services.

Every time I go there I feel like a person, not just a patient the Drs, nurses,even staff go beyond to help you outI have small veins that move alot, they took my suggestion to use a butterfly clip (normally used for children when drawing blood) in stride when I told them I normally have to have in order for them to draw blood when they had trouble in getting a vein in my arm ...after trying I then offer the top of my hand to draw blood from which was successful.They are always very professional, patience and kind. I like everything bout this place, the location, its clean, the hours, opened early closed later seven days a week, the music is aways nice, not loud, and not boring while in the room waiting on the drs..just an enjoyable experience all-round.So glad this clinic is available to me they have an amazing staff and company. I really appreciate them very much..make an appointment today you will not regret it ...

I went there at about 6 pm on a Monday and only waited about 20 minutes to see the physician. They tested me for Covid, strep and flu. I had the flu. Doc sent in the prescription and I was out of there in a little over an hour.

I scheduled an appt for noon than decided to walk in at 8am. They were super professional and helpful and I was seen within the hour of arriving. My wife and I took our 13 month old here because he was fighting off a nasty stomach virus. It was our first time brining our child here. Needless to say, the service was excellent. From the front desk, to the MA, all the way up to the NP. They were through and actually offered a shot to help with his nausea. We waited less than 30Min to be seen and we were in and about in about 1 hour. Thank you Midwest Clinic for helping out boy feel better. We have found our new Urgent Care Clinic

Your web page states that you take walk-ins until 8:00 p.m. but I came one evening because I wanted my two-year-old to be seen by a medical professional, while not going through the experience of an ER visit. They kindly... with attitude let me know that their numbers and their computers were already closed for the evening and despite my direct quesion if they would see her kept giving me a runaround because it was 7:50. If youre not going to see people up until 8:00 then state as much. Watching these people sit behind their desks just waiting to clock out at 8:00 was ridiculous

I visited this clinic earlier in the year for COVID testing & that experience was super quick & easy. But recently I’ve had to make a few consistent visits to receive follow-up care for stitches from a dog bite. The doctor that has been treating me has been very caring and informative. The rest of the staff has also been very pleasant and efficient. I definitely see myself coming back here for any urgent care needs. The variety of insurances accepted is also a major plus. Thank you for your great service, keep up the awesome work! I should also add that in my experience the wait time here is very minimal. The online registration & check-in process definitely helps to speed up the visit, I’m usually in & out within the hour!

I visited Midwest Express-River Forest on a Saturday afternoon and was in and out in less than an hour. The doctor was kind and listened to me as a patient. After my diagnosis they gave me my prescription and I started feeling better the next day. So glad I didn’t have to wait in the ER or for an appointment with my doctor.

We are from Canada and visited this clinic while on vacation in Chicago this summer. My son fell and cut himself near his eye, which required medical treatment.Although we were very happy with the doctor and treatment provided, I have to give a one star review because of my experience with the clinic after our visit. Seeing as we are Canadian, we had to pay for this work out of pocket and submit receipts to OHIP (government provided health benefits in Ontario) when we returned home. I submitted the receipt I was given and was asked to provide more information by OHIP. I phoned the clinic once and e-mailed 6 times but my e-mails have been ignored. Since I dont have the documentation I need to be reimbursed from my benefits and the clinic is not getting back to me, I am accepting the reality that I will likely have to pay these expenses out of pocket.Our son recieved great treatment at this clinic and based on that we would give a five star review. It is unfortunate that our experience with the office has been so poor afterwards, which is the reason I am giving a one star review here.

I am so glad this place exists because it is so hard to get into see a Dr right now. I have been having GI issues at the moment and the lady gave me an X-ray right there on site! I also had to go for an allergic reaction to a new med and got seen right away! I feel like a hypochondriac a bit but I feel better knowing this place is here for me if I have a health concern that I would like to get checked out right away! I will always be choosing this place.

Brought in my teenager for food poisoning, Jasmin was EXCEPTIONAL! Her bedside manner and care were impressive. My son would not stop vomiting and she was so caring and patient. I never write reviews but had to for this one! As a parent watching your child be so well cared for is very important and highly recommended!

You are better off going to the ER! The doctor knew nothing at all and I also didnt get treated for anything! I still got charged! Never again will I go here. They also steal your credit card information and charge you! This place is so messed up. Literally got charged $400 for absolutely nothing! Go to the ER their are more knowledgeable doctors there.

I like that this is close to where I stay in Oak park. I was able to come here and get a diagnosis efficiently. The wait was a bit long but not too long. The staff was ok. The black nurse that took me to the room had an unpleasant Demeanor and a tone. Girl basically jammed swabs in my throat. Some nurses need to learn good bedside manners. If I wasnt in a pinch I would of just went to my regular family doctor. I wouldnt get like bloodwork done here but things that are easy to diagnose is ok.The NP had good bedside manners.Update: had the joy of returning (sarcastically) the doctor I saw prior had prescribed me amoxicillin and I broke out in hives and started itching 2nd day. I was told I had to wait 1 1/2 hours to get a new script. But was seen in like 40mins. The people who worked the evening, around 7pm, were nice.

This is a walk-in clinic. They are lightening fast, and in a very convenient location! I will be going there again.Edit: DIAMOND is extremely rude. She didnt seem to understand that I had a follow up appointment scheduled on the books. Without even asking me for my information to check in, she rudely told me This is a WALK IN clinic. We dont do appointments. Didnt even try to see who I am or if there was a follow up on the books for me. Extremely unprofessional. I have always had a stellar experience here, but not today 8/8/2023. That girl does not belong here. The rest of the staff is amazing, professional, and friendly. Get rid of her and youll be back to 5 stars in a heartbeat.

I went to Midwest Express Clinic in River Forest. I was so happy that they was able to see me the minute I walk in the door. The pace was so clean and the staff was down to earth, and very professional, and had a sense of humor.They took very good care of me Im so happy I deciced to go there instead of a emergency room. Firstly, the MAs there were great. Very friendly and they listen. My problem is 2 things:#1 the service is way too long to wait. We literally waited 2 hours for my wife to be seen. Then we were finally seen it was an idiot of a nurse practitioner that saw us. She literally came into the room left back out for 3 seconds said something to the actual doctor then came back in and told us to go to the ER. She didnt pay attention to what my wife said was going on, she kept asking her about an arythmia when my wife never said anything about an arythmia. She also told her that they were going to do an EKG but as I said she just came back in and said go to the ER. I mean does the hypocratic oath mean nothing anymore? This lady didnt even try to find out what the problem was or offer any help whatsoever, but I bet she sure made certain to bill our insurance though. Thats all I took from our visit. Get them out of here quickly and get their money. I will never go back here again and I advise anyone reading this to find another place to go because unless the medical assistants or a nurse is helping you , you probably are just wasting your time in the first place anyway. Lastly, to the dark haired nurse practitioner please get out of the medical industry because you were obviously not built for it.

I went into Urgent Care on Sunday after feeling ill. I had a terrible headache. My eyes were sensitive to the lighting. I had a sore throat and a horrible cough. I took a home COVID Test which turned out to be positive. I was prescribed medication and I an currently feeling much better.PS .. I have taken the most recent COVID Booster but it didnt prevent me from catching COVID.

Fast and to the point on top of great service. This was my second time going and that’s because I chose to go there even though it was a school physical. Jasmin our NP was awesome. She has a great attitude and made sure to answer any questions or concerns we might have had. Thank you Jasmin and staff!

Really nice and helpful staff. I didnt realize how much they had to offer there. Im not from here and clinics that Ive visited in other states seem so limited. The overall experience was very welcoming.I was there to support my boyfriend. He deals with HS and was dealing with a absess. This isnt his usual routine. He has a dermatologist but he is not from the area and was in major pain. Thankfully, it wasnt too far gone that he couldnt be helped. They were very helpful and willing to work with him on how to best help him and manage the pain infliction as best as possible.FOR ANYONE DEALING WITH HS, PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THEY WILL ONLY ASSIST UP TO ROUGHLY 3 CM. They stated that at a certain size, they will need to be cared for surgically. If you are not from the area, please try to find a dermatologist as soon as possible as this is a rare condition.

This was my second visit to Midwest in River Forest, both for totally different reasons...The first was Covid related, the second for an infected finger. I was very pleased with the service and medical staff both times. They had all my information from my first visit, very well organized. I did not have to fill out any paperwork and did not have to wait more than 20 minutes on a Sunday morning...

Fast, helpful, clean and modern facilities in good condition, easy to get seen, genuine concern for patient care, including ensuring follow up with provider when necessary. Happy to see masks are required and enforced! Have had to go twice since moving to the area as my GP is a bit too far when I’ve been quite ill. Very happy to have them so close by and easily available!

I recently visited the River Forest Location and was pleased with the service I received. I registered online prior to my arrival; after which the check-in process was seamless. I was seen within 5-7 mins of my appointment time. The environment was clean and organized. The nurse was pleasant and welcoming. I was assisted and on my way in good timing. Overall, it was a good experience.

Waiting time was great. Visit was great. My 5 year old became overwhelmed about the test needed but the nurse that brought us in was very understanding , patience and kind with my daughter. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing service!! each and EVERYONE of the staff were very professional, caring, empathic and efficient with serving the patients waiting to be seen in the waiting area, I waited no longer than 15 min before being called to be seen and the office was filled with patients this day. I loved the warm and welcoming environment provided, you can tell they really do love helping people because it shows, all though this was my first visit here it surely wont be my last!

I took my son bc he has been sick for a few days and he tested positive for Covid. The attention that we received from the nurse and the doctor was amazing. I didnt feel as they were rushing me. They explained every test and exam they performed and were very patient with him. Ive been here several times and always am glad of the service and care my family and I receive. They were very nice and fast. The registration was easy online. I was in and out of the clinic in less than an hour. I had labs and the techs explained everything thoroughly and the NP who I saw took her time to answer any of my concerns. It was a good experience with each individual I interacted with. Thank you for all of your help and professionalism. My only complaint is that the results took a little longer to get sent to me. I had to call the clinic two days later, but they did respond to me right away and released them through email right after I called.

They took my information at the desk and right away they called me to go back in a consulting room and they took my blood test which is what I was there for. It all happened quickly. Everybody was pleasant. I went home feeling happy.

This clinic in River Forest is the best. You can register online and select a time to be seen so you dont have to wait so long in the waiting room. Registering online saves you the time of filling out paperwork at the office. I was scheduled to be seen at 8:50 am and by 9 am I was taken into a room. The nurse was so efficient and asked thorough questions. The doctor that saw me was knowledgeable and very nice. She gave me a prescription for the hives I had and a prescription for my cold. Another nurse came in to take my blood and usually people have trouble finding my vein but she did it in less than 5 seconds. They were quick, efficient, knowledgeable, and overall very nice. The front desk ladies are also super friendly and made me feel welcome. I would highly recommend this clinic.

I was a walk-in and I was seen quickly in addition to the receptionist communicating with me throughout the process. The NP I saw didn’t treat me like my issue was minute but talked to me and made sure I understood the information she was giving me as a patient. It was an overall good experience.

UPDATE: As of TODAY 11/24, I am STILL WAITING FOR RESULTS!!! Today i called & was told that now the test takes 2-3 weeks?? How do we go from 3-5 days, to 3-5 business days, to 2-3 weeks? This place is crazy & at this point i’m convinced they don’t even have the results because they lost them or never bothered to send them in the first place. do not waste your time & bring your child here.Took my son here to get evaluated & see if he had Chicken Pox or HFMD. I brought him on 11/15 & still today, 11/22 i have no results. I was told 3-5 days when I brought my son in. I keep calling & no one has any answers for me other than “they’re in process”. This was realy unprofessional on your part, had you told me it would take so long to get results I would’ve gone somewhere else. Now thanksgiving is tomorrow & im still as clueless as yesterday. thanks for ruining our holiday.

My domino-effect illness was addressed adequately…(head, to throat, to chest). A follow-up visit was more than suggested. It was scheduled.Suggestion:Though clients only played one bout of musical chairs the waiting room could use a few more chairs. Weather permitting there’s seating provisions just outside the clinic.

Walked in late in the evening to a waiting room full of people, never thought we would be seen. Grace handled our intake quite quickly as so she did w everybody else. Kendra and Stephanie both did a great job answering questions and meeting our needs! Very satisfied w the work of this team.

Amazing experience! At the time, my toddler daughter was feeling awful and we didn’t want to wait for walk-ins hours with our doctor the next day. I’d read that the Midwest Express Clinic had a great pediatrician but I was blown away! Our doctor’s name was Jasmine (didn’t catch the last name) and she was very kind and took her time while meeting my daughter. She spoke to my daughter with respect in that she asked her questions (instead of just me), she walked her through the check up, and even let her use the stethoscope. She was very thorough when explaining the diagnosis and next steps. The nurses were also amazing. They greeted her and she got stickers on the way in and the way out. If I ever need urgent care for my kids, I would not hesitate to return!

I was seen by doctor quickly after arriving. Very professional and very knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and felt that Dr. Jasmin Pillai really listened to my concerns. I felt very well attended to.

My 5yo had prolonged virus that I suspected went into infection, as he was spiking small fevers during the second week, coughing fits, full ears. Dr was kind and caring, manner with child was great, Knowledgeable, and concluded we were most likely not dealing with infection, for a number of observations… prioritized a more holistic /less invasive philosophy, in that he valued the body’s natural antibodies and flora, and suggested natural options and OTC treatment, instead of just prescribing antibiotics and wiping out everything in my 5yo’s body, which I greatly appreciated. The office got me in right away, and staff was friendly, cheerful, and again, not pushing any unnecessary tests or medications for the sake of metrics. THANK YOU!

Excellent medical service in a timely fashion. Midwest Express Clinic is where want to go for medical services, especially when it may take days to see your primary care physician .

The staff here is amazing! I went in for a maybe sprained ankle on Easter Sunday and each provider I saw was kinder than the next. The nurse practitioner I saw was confident in her diagnosis which made me feel confident as well and at ease. They were able to do an x ray that same day and I got my results on Monday. Only downside was that I had to wait 30 minutes to be seen, and would recommend scheduling an appointment online rather than walking in. Thank y’all for all that you do!!

You never know what it’s going to be like when you go to an urgent care facility, especially on New Years Eve. Despite a very long wait since so many people were there, all the employees were extremely friendly, patient and caring. I have been here 2x in the last 4 weeks (for the same cold/flu) and both times I was listened to and given very good advice on how I could improve. I would certainly go back again.

I visited the River Forest location yesterday. The visit was quite pleasant and I even got a call at home later to follow up and check to make sure I had begun taking my meds that were prescribed. I’m feeling better already!

My experience at Midwest Express Clinic was definitely awesome! The workers are friendly very kind something thats hard to get these days. I will most definitely refer them to family and friends.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Though the waiting room was quite full, I did not wait a very long time to go in and get checked out. The nurses were friendly and professional, and the doctor did a great job helping me with my problem…an infected finger.I’ve had past experience there as well, and it’s always been a satisfactory visit, all the doctors being very helpful, understanding, and competent.

Midwest Express Clinic in River Forest, IL is amazing! The staff is welcoming, friendly, attentive, and amazing. We are fortunate to have them in our neighborhood.

It was my first time here for my son who wasn’t feeling too well. The doctor was very informative and helpful and it was a a great first experience coming here.

They got me in quick and easy! The attending physician who saw me, Tricia Mann, was friendly and kind. She listened to my concerns and didn’t make me feel rushed. Next time I am in need of Urgent Care, I will come back here!
