I recently visited the Sunrise urgent care center, and I cannot express enough how positive my experience was. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism. The facility was clean and well-organized, which immediately put me at ease.The medic team was incredibly attentive and thorough, taking the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. Their compassionate care and expertise were evident throughout my visit. Despite the urgency of my situation, I never felt rushed; instead, I was treated with respect and kindness.The efficiency of the entire process was impressive. I was seen promptly, and the treatment I received was top-notch. The follow-up instructions were clear, and I left feeling well-cared for and confident in my recovery.I highly recommend this Sunrise urgent care center to anyone in need of medical attention. Their dedication to patient care is truly exceptional. Thank you to the entire team for making a potentially stressful situation so manageable and positive.

They were friendly and attentive. The dr was professional and knowledgeable. Clean and calming atmosphere. I had been to two other clinics recently and it was noticeably different here. They were way more kind and I felt that the dr really wanted to treat me and responded to my needs rather than just charge me for a visit and not really do anything. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I’m not kidding. I won’t go anywhere else!

Ive received the utmost, best of care from the physicians that oversee the clinic. Ive been coming to them for over 10 years. I can honestly say, that they saved the life of both my wife and I. When our so called specialist ignored our complaints, Dr. A and Dr. Obi immediately took the necessary steps and ordered testing and imaging. They discovered that urgent attention was necessary.We will be forever grateful to them ❤️

With the cancer of DEI in our society, I tend to look for a white or Chinese male doctors, to avoid getting someone who wouldnt normally have been selected for medical school. But in this case, I noticed the Nigerian name and thought this was not the case.Cynthia Obi was my attending physician. She was fantastic! While so many doctors are just legal drug pushers, she knowledgeable, thorough, attentive to detail, and gave a complete description of the problem that was easy to understand. She spoke of recent research (Ive never had a doctor speak of that in 64 years) and gave me a plan of action to follow. My ER nurse wife was impressed. I give her 5 stars, and I almost never give 5 stars. She was truly amazing!

Both doctors at this practice are amazing. Our area is a fast growing spot so our primaries have a hard time fitting in even sick appointments. The whole staff are sweet as can be. They all help if there is need. And the doctors couldn’t be more caring. They help our whole family from sports physicals to acute illness. We are grateful they are near for our family safety net!

I was able to make an appointment online and get in really early, earlier than I expected! The staff was super friendly and attentive and so was my doctor. I wasnt in the room 5 minutes still speaking with the nurse when he came in and took care of me. Im 100% very satisfied with the care I received.

Our visits to Sunrise Urgent Care are the smoothest of all of our healthcare provider visits! We are always seen within minutes of walking in, always receive a solution to our issues, and are out the door within 10-15 min of arrival. The staff and doctors are pleasant and it is a nice atmosphere. Please keep it up.I highly recommend this practice.

Fast and efficient. Considering my first available appointment with my primary care physician was 6 weeks out and I had an episode of diverticulitis, I knew I needed evaluation and antibiotics. Not everyone can afford the cost of a trip to the ER. Sunrise has become first level medical care for my family. We trust them for prompt evaluation and knowing when to escalate treatment beyond their facility.

I’ve been using Sunrise for a couple of months now as our emergency care provider and was reluctant to share a review since didn’t want to share this gem. Awesome doctors who can attend my 72 year old dad just the same as my 7 months old baby, efficient and fast. Waiting time - approx 15 minutes tops which for an emergency room is a speed of light. Very happy overall, please keep up the good work!

I have been going here for years, Dr. Obi and her husband are incredible. They are always so kind and take excellent care of me, I have all of my family go here. I use them as my GP, cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have been going to this location for many years. Every time I go there, the staff, as well as both the doctors are kind, professional, and thorough. I totally trust Dr. Obe and her husband with my medical needs. Being in the medical profession myself, I recognize good and honest doctors when I see one. I like this Urgent Care. Dr. Obi is great. She is knowledgable and takes care of her customers. However, customer service receptionist is not up to expectation. I think she needs to trust her patients. I don’t know if this is from her or she is just following what she has been asked to do

I visited Sunrise UC yesterday, it was my first time there. Doctors and staff are very professional and friendly. I received an excellent care, the prescription that they sent me is working very well. I will keep them as my UC provider

Wonder experience. I was in and out in less than an hour. Brought my sick kiddo in, got checked by the DOCTOR, “no nurses practitioner or physician assistant”, got the prescription kiddo needed and I was out of the door. Will surely be returning for my future needs.

I was Katy visiting my son when I injured my shoulder. Dr. Agourij was excellent! Listened to my symptoms and had me diagnosed and medications within 15 minutes. He was very informative and made sure I understood what was wrong and how he was going to treat it. The nurse who checked me in was an Angel. She took really good care of me while getting all my information.

Sunrise is my go-to for getting anyone in our family taken care of in a pinch. We frequently stop in on weekends and are always in and out in less than 20 minutes. Both physicians are attentive and attuned to the patient. Once they have you on file, check in is a breeze.

The medical staff was very professional. They made it easy for me to register online, so when I arrived for my appointment, I gave my name and they immediately took me back to begin my exam.

The staff is very sweet from the front office to the Dr. himself, I always feel comfortable with how my daughters are taken care of there.

Yesterday was my first time visiting this clinic and I was diagnosed with pneumonia. The visit was quick and easy since I was the only customer. The front desk person and nurse who diagnosed me were very nice and welcoming. There was another lady, a lab tech I assume, who attitude was very nasty and disrespectful. I don’t know if I would be comfortable returning there because I may be obliged to meet her energy. The last thing you want to deal with when you are sick is attitude. I read the reviews before going here so I felt good about it and plus it’s close to my home, but I left feeling indifferent. I would like to say thanks to the nurse and front desk attendant who were very nice and courteous.

Whenever I need to bring my kids here, always good service, great care, affordable, and most importantly they listen and my kids recover. Highly recommended!

Very lovely place. Reception was friendly and efficient. Nurse Victoria was lovely and professional. Dr obi was pleasant and through with checking my symptoms. Could only get virtual appointments with pcp but knew I’d need hands on. From start to finish wonderful experience even feeling ill.

I visited them yesterday in a rush for a severe soar throat pain. They were professional, accommodating, and fast. I got diagnosed and received my prescription quick enough to catch my prescription from the pharmacy before they closed (The whole process took 30 minutes).

The entire staff from front desk to the Dr were extremely nice and welcoming! Visit was prompt, and the Dr was super sweet. I appreciated not having to wait very long, especially since I had my son with me. Will definitely be using this place for all future urgent care visits ☺️

Fortunately I have not had to go to an urgent care often. However, when I do I’ve always had a great experience at sunrise. The staff is welcoming and the doctors take time to listen to my concerns and explain their rationale when rendering care. This place is definitely a gem in the neighborhood.

As always, the folks at sunrise urgent care were fantastic. I had to take my son there because he’s battling an ear infection and a sinus infection. The lady upfront checked us in quickly and efficiently. She’s always polite and friendly. Shortly after that, the nurse took us back - and within minutes, we saw the doctor. They all do an amazing job, and we’re grateful to have them in our community!

This is BY FAR the best Urgent Care I’ve ever visited! The wait is minimal to none, the efficiency is incredible and the staff is so friendly and show true care and compassion. I love that they see and do an excellent job with both adults and children alike, and each time I go I am thoroughly impressed with their kindness, expertise and the convenience and ease of the entire experience. Highly recommend!

I was able to pre-book my appt online and upload my drivers license and insurance so it was all taken care of when I arrived. They took me immediately and the nurse listened to my symptoms and took my stats. The doctor came in very quickly thereafter and also asked me about my symptoms and did an exam then gave me his recommendations. It was a very quick and easy process especially for someone who isnt feeling well. If I ever need an urgent care again, I will be back.

I absolutely love this Sunrise Urgent Care❣️I started going here in 2016 when I first moved to Texas. The Doctors Obi are the best, I was telling my husband I wished they had a private practice because I would definitely use them as my PCP.

Everything about this office is great, the staff and the doctor is very attentive to details, quick service, and caring.Definitely recommend this place for everyone.

As a nurse, I am picky where I and my family go for urgent care. Doctors here are great with good bedside manner and knowledge. And also hardly any wait time when we go there which is perfect for a busy mom and my college kids. We have been going here for almost 8 years.

Dr Obi is the best! Two other pediatricians either under prescribed or told me to ride out the virus. Dr Obi immediately realized my son was having bronchospasm and treated him to perfection.The staff are also so kind and there was no wait time. This place is amazing!

Very convenient and fast. I made an appointment online, but it didnt appear busy when I arrived. After checking in, I was only in the waiting room a couple minutes before being called back. I always go to my neighborhood Sunrise Urgent Care Center and recommend them highly. The doctor is very accommodating and friendly. You can tell he really cares. Only hiccup this time is we arrived when the doctor was off premise at lunch and staff would not let us stay in waiting room. They said it was a liability issue when doctor not in. ????? They should at least lock their door and put a sign on the door. This has never happened before. We had to go next door to Academy to get in A/C in 105 heat. Silly rule.

The very first time I was told they were booked I had no clue they took appointments. I’ve been coming here for years actually a week ago for my ears and the receptionist was rude so I guess it’s time to change sad part the Drs they are great love the both of them but it takes one to ruin it

Sunrise Urgent Care Center was the perfect place to have my illness treated. The office staff was efficient and courteous and I was seen within five minutes. Dr. Aguoru was friendly, competent and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this clinic.

We absolutely love this place. It’s very close to our house and Dr. Obi is the best. We’ve been there often so they know us and they’re always welcoming and sweet. It’s our go to urgent care and they’ve always taken good care of my kids and myself. :)

Daughter had an ear infection on a holiday weekend. The pediatric urgent care in Sugarland is always so packed and hard to get into so I’m glad to see this one. Everyone was nice and the doctor was thorough.

We have been to Sunrise Urgent Care multiple times over the years. They are quick, kind and attentive. It’s so nice to be able to walk in, see a doctor, and walk out so quickly. I have taken my children there for everything from strep to ear infections to Covid tests and they’re great with kids as well. We will certainly be going back when we need to see a doctor in a pinch.

The staff and service was amazing as usual. I have been going to this clinic since I moved to Katy in 2015. I have since moved to Richmond but I love Cynthia and her staff so much that I drive back and have referred them to my whole family and their friends. A joy to go to and I have 100% trust in their support.

Dr Obi is so sweet and very helpful. When my husband hurt his back and one of my sons was sick, she was wonderful and listened to our concerns. We will continue to come back to Sunrise as long as she is here. I will also add that although she recommends you wear a mask, she and her staff are not forceful about it, and for that I will recommend Sunrise on that alone! Greatful for doctors like her and her staff that are pleasant to work with! Go see them when you need someone.

This place is where you can get the care you need. From the front ladies to the provider, I’ve never seen such a skilled, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous staff. One you first walk in you feel the positive vibes coming towards you which interestingly some places don’t provide. I love this place, the staff and the providers. I strongly recommend Sunrise Urgent care to anyone regardless of the age.

New to Texas and First time visiting this facility. Went in for my sick child. Completed all necessary paperwork and appointment information online. Get to this facility. The young lady at the front desk did not even acknowledge us as we walked in. By the way, we were the only customers/patients in there. Another young lady comes from the back and each of them start talking and looking at something on the computer. The other young lady comes back and says that their system messed up and all of my information will have to be input back into the system. I am then given a sticky note pad to write down my information. The two young ladies then proceed to whisper and talk to each other rather than inputting my information into the system. Absolute terrible customer service and horrible first impression and experience. I will not visit this facility again and I would suggest providing proper customer service skills to front office workers. Thank you!

She even interpreted my recent Medtronic heart device when I was questioned re my CHF issue(s).Dr. Obis nurse was extremely thorough in her pre-appointment screening and information gathering. I am sharing this review on behalf of my husband and myself. We were both recently seen and treated for COVID-19 by Dr. Obi and her staff. Each time we have sought care at Sunrise, we have been treated with the utmost of compassion and care. I’m so pleased that Sunrise is located so close to our home with actual MDs and convenient hours.

I really truly like this place. So organized, clean, and pleasant for the patient; the staff from the from desk nurses to the providers: all on a top of every patient’s expectations: knowledgeable, helpful, respectful, skilled, Fast, and accurate. I’m thankful that I found this urgent care, this will be my second destination after my pcp when I have any health concern. They also do immunization and any school or work health screening such as PPD- which I did today-Thank you so much Sunrise urgent care:)

By far, the fastest & most efficient pediatric’s urgent care I’ve been to. They were even kindly accommodating to me when, because of his pain, I had to bring my son in 2 hours earlier than our original schedule appt. Loved everything about the experience!

Almost never have to wait long,both doctors are great with adults n kids,nurses are very nice and accept almost every insurance and open seven days a week,Can’t ask more than that.

I found out today I was exposed to covid. Called everywhere near me and no one could test me until next week. Got the number for Sunset from a friend and they took me right in immediately. Carrie was the nurse who took my test and she was absolutely wonderful. Funny and thorough and very sweet. The doctor was great too. In and out in less than 10. Would highly recommend to anyone!!

I went in after a bad fall on my knee. The care I received right from intake to xray was very professional and helpful. Dr. Obi was very reassuring and explained the xrays to me patiently. I would highly recommend Sunrise urgent care to everyone. They really put the care in their work :)

Today I had a slight emergency and didn’t know where to go. I googled “urgent care” and Sunrise Urgent Care was listed along with others that weren’t open until Monday. I called the lady that answered was so nice and professional. She took all my information over the phone, so once I arrived, I was able to see the doctor right away. Before I met the doctor, the nurse was so understanding and kind. Doctor Aguoru was extremely professional, quick very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what was wrong and how we can correct it.If I ever need an Urgent care again, Sunrise will be the first place I call.

Other than some confusion about what time my appointment was, the staff was friendly and very efficient.But the lab they use is a whole different subject. Again, this place and staff are great. But Ive been waiting over 57 hours for my Covid PCR test results. The lab has not returned my results. So now Im forced to spend 149.00 while on the road in Savanah GA. To have a antigen rapid test. My insurance covered the PCR, but this test is out of my pocket.

My son went and they gave him a totally wrong diagnosis including a complete misinterpretation of a simple chest x-ray. They urged him to immediately go to an ER and that he may have lung collapse. All was wrong. Our family was devastated and panicked. We went to ER as requested and they confirmed he has nothing of this sort. I will pursue further action on this. I have all objective evidence.

My son was taken straight back when he cracked his head open. The Doctor was really thorough and gentle with him. She made the experience smooth for him. Very friendly staff. I wouldnt take myself and my family to any other urgent care!

Absolutely wonderful care center. I’ve been here countless times for Covid PCR fit to fly tests. They have a quick turnaround time for results and kept me well informed through out the entire process.The staff are friendly, knowledgable, and professional. I just received my flu shot today and the nurse did a fantastic job administering the shot.

Sunrise was fantastic! Great staff, receptionist, nurses and doctors. In and out in 20 minutes, I was a new patient and there was no wait. Highly recommend. Plus Kroger next door filled my prescriptions in ten minutes!

Highly recommend this urgent care. The staff is friendly and attentive. Appointments are obtainable and both Drs are great. Dr. Aguoru is great with kids and made my anxious toddler feel at ease when getting covid testing which we were unable to do at our peds office. Results were quick and you don’t have to wait long.

Greeted warmly by admin staff. In the system already so not given new forms to fill out. No waiting to see the doctor - who listened, was caring & knowledgeable, with a great bedside manner. No one wants to go to the doctor but considering I had to this was as good as it gets.

Rude receptionist. Bad attitude.Ive been a few times and I always thought the doctor was great but when talking to the receptionist trying to set an appointment I just felt like I was inconveniencing her more than anything. Im just going to find a different doctor its a shame that they have to lose business over someone answering the phone in this way..

I have been few times in this clinic , I just want to say that my perspective towards the doctors and nurse was good experience , but I can’t not say the same for the front desk she is rude impatient and don’t treat people well I got very disappointed !!!

RUDE RUDE RUDE! The receptionist was dismissive and condescending. Told us to go back to our car and call the number on the door. We did that. 1st call she picked up only said please hole. SEVEN minutes later still no answer, then I called back I assume she knew it was me (caller ID), i didn’t even get to say a word before she put us on hold again. Sure glad we didn’t have true ER! Will never ever go back,

I received a bill from a visit nearly 1.5 years ago! I was frustrated that Sunrise would be so unprofessional to send such an overdue statement without ANY explanation. I spoke with their billing manager and received no explanation as to why I was receiving the bill so late other than it may have been when we were just starting up. I dont believe this is a good reason at all. I DO NOT recommend using Sunrise when there are a number of better, more professional urgent care centers in the area. The care was mediocre and not exceptional.

Dr. Okezie Aguoru is a wonderful person and doctor! We have seen him twice now and I wish he could be our primary care doctor because he’s the best around. When my 7 year old son had the flu he was too scared to do the flu test where you stick the long q-tip up the nose so he had my son blow his nose really hard and he used the snot which tested positive. He is extra sensitive with a kind and caring personality. 100 stars! Office staff is wonderful as well!

Very good experience. I went there with no insurance because Im a traveler from Thailand. My husband and I didnt have much money at that time. I got an asthma attracts and the doctor gave me the treatment for free. The receptionist was very nice. I would recommend this place for sure.

Doctor is great and the staff are professional and nice. The clinic is clean and quiet, i see the staff how they sanitize around the clinic at the end of the day manually. Awesome!

I was able to make a prompt appointment online and I waited less than 5 minutes after checking in before being taken back. I was treated professionally and with care. I felt well cared for by Dr Obi.

What a joke of a medical facility. I’d been feeling sick since 12/19/21 and finally went to Sunrise on 12/30 for testing. I should have known to go elsewhere when I called repeatedly on 12/29 trying to schedule an appt and they never answered the phone, plus their mailbox was full. I drove up there, asked for both a covid test and an antibody test and was told there was no availability till 3pm the next day. Fine. The nurse who tested me on 12/30 was nice and that part went ok. On 1/1, I received an email that my results were ready, logged in and only saw the antibody results, which were negative. I was encouraged by that because I assumed it meant my covid test would be negative as well. I called several times on 1/2 to ask about my covid test results and the phone was never answered; voicemail full, of course. What clinic never answers their phone??? Absolutely ridiculous. I called a few times over the next couple days and still no answer. I even tried their second phone number today; no answer also. Mind you, I was still feeling so unwell I could hardly do anything. Finally, after the worst coughing of my life for two days, I scheduled a televisit with my doctor for today, 1/4. I told him my antibody test was negative, but I hadn’t yet received the covid test results. He said having no antibodies didn’t necessarily preclude me from having covid and I should let him know when I received my results. 20 minutes before Sunrise closed today, I dragged myself out of bed and drove up there. I told the lady at the front desk that I had been trying to reach them by phone for a few days. She said nothing; didn’t even acknowledge my statement. She asked for my identifying info, then printed out my covid results. I looked at the paper: Positive. I asked her why I never received this by email because it’s been almost a week since I was tested and it says positive. Her response: “the testing facility did not have your email address. Sorry about that.” That’s the reason or excuse??? They had my email for the antibody test, but not the covid test? Makes absolutely no sense, especially since I’d been tested for covid at Sunrise in July 2020 and received those results by email. However, I said nothing to her pathetically weak defense, thanked her and walked out. I’m sitting here writing this review absolutely livid, not only for myself, but for the others who have been treated so dismissively and unprofessionally by Sunrise Urgent Care. I will never go there again. Best of luck to y’all.

EXTREMELY RUDE RECEPTIONISTThe receptionist blatantly disrespected me and laughed at my question. She asked for my address and being that i am here visiting i asked if it needed to be an address in Tx, her response was, i need your address its not a trick question. I dont understand why people like that can keep their job when people are struggling.They need to let that lady go. As an EMT, fellow black woman, and veteran, I was extremely disappointed in the medical care. Also, they do not take insurance for rapid test. It is 200 flat non refundable fee. When I asked if they took insurance she simply repeatedly her statement again to me. They also keep their materials outside in not sterile. Potential risk for contamination.

Very good service! Staff is attentive, friendly and try to get treatment as early as possible. Doctor is knowledgeable and discuss about the findings and treatment requirements in details.

Fantastic place to go if you need a medical service. I requested a physical evaluation for my son. Everything was clean and faster. Very professional the ladies at the front desk.

I was diagnosed on April 23rd at this facility with covid19. I was given a work release for 10 days and was told by the physician who administered the test that if my symptoms still persisted I would be given a follow up work release.When I called today and asked if I could receive the above mentioned documentation, I was told that they would not send another work release until I had been seen again. I explained my situation and relayed what the testing physician at their facility had told me originally and was told I must schedule an appointment.Please do not use this urgent care facility as they do not honor their words. On top of this all, their receptionist is beyond rude and patronizing.

Do not go here to get Covid Tested. They not only take FOREVER, they don’t even give you a printout of instructions or anything to guide you through this virus, unlike other urgent cares. Wasn’t given any medicine, just took my money and sent me on my way. I’ll never return to this location.Also I was told I could get a Dr note to return back to work after I fulfilled my 10 day quarantine. I went up to the office and proceeded to wait 15-20 min for her to tell me that I need to be evaluated again, so make yet another appointment. My advice get everyone on the same page here and quit wasting people’s time. They told me to come In and get a dr note then denied giving me a note.

Service is poor as of 12/18/2021. The African lady at the front desk will not acknowledge you, not even look up at you lol! You have to say hello to her to get her attention and you want me to give you 75.00 even with insurance that I have for a Rapid text! No thanks not with that service, so of course I left!

They got me back very quick. The Dr. was very knowledgeable and kind. Ive been to quite a few urgent cares and this one is now top of my list.

This place is AWESOME! I go here rather than Redi-Clinic because I get to see an actual doctor and it is for the sane copay cost not the higher Urgent Care insurance cost. Dr. Aguoru had treated my bad back twice and once for an ear infection all on a SUNDAY! If I could make this my GP I probably would because of the ultra short wait and convenience.

I dont get ill too often, but when I do, Sunrise is my go to care provider. Everyone there is so kind and caring.

Very unprofessional. I was told I would receive an email with my Covid test results when I left the facility but It’s been three days and still no email. Worst of all, they do not answer the phone so I guess I have to break quarantine and drive all the way back up there just to get my test results.

I took a PCR COVID test, we requested a QR code according to the indications of the airlines for international travel. They told us that 48 hours were available, I have had to call all day without a satisfactory answer. Very bad communication, without irresponsible.

DONT EVER COME HERE !!!!!!! Worst attitude by a receptionist that I ever seen they definitely need to get rid of her asap she seemed annoyed at everything aggravated aswell as sleepy when you talked to her.

I went there at 11:00 and they didn’t send my son prescription in more than 4 hours even though I called them to send it .. I went to pharmacy 3 times and didn’t find my prescription..it supposed to be there in 1-2 hours

Despite available federal and state funding to reimburse for COVID testing, and the fact that insurance covers the cost as well, Sunrise is selling the rapid COVID test for $200. They do not accept insurance for the rapid test. To be so blatantly profiteering off a crisis is upsetting, to say the least.
