I was so lucky to have Dr. Harris as my doctor and would recommend him to anyone looking for help with pregnancy. He felt like a friend. Always there when you needed him, honest, calm, and encouraging. After every interaction I left feeling at ease and very hopeful. He’s understanding, realistic, patient, and takes time to explain what’s going on. He didn’t overwhelm us by ordering unnecessary tests, and made certain I felt okay every step of the way. I’m forever grateful he was able to help grow my family, but also sad to not work with him anymore. I felt so taken care of at every single point of the journey thanks to Dr. Harris and his team. He’s the best of the best!!! I’m so glad I chose him to help us on this journey. I love him!

Amazing clinical team, wish I had known about these resources sooner, they made our dreams come true :) Dr. Harris is incredible and the whole SGF team was responsive, kind, and empathetic throughout this whole process. Dr. Harris is simply the best at what he does. Our journey with Dr. Harris and Shady Grove Fertility was long and filled with challenges, but Dr. Harris remained a steady force of calm and care. No matter how big or small the concern, he and his team were quick and thorough to address it and put us at ease. He genuinely cares about his patients and their outcomes. He understands this process is both a physical and emotional one and addresses both these needs in his patients. I am so thankful to him for the magical gift he gave us and excited to work under his care in the future!

I started my IVF journey back in January. Dr.Harris was the most helpful, supportive doctor I’ve ever had in my entire being! Although it took me 2 cycles of IVF we still made it to pregnancy! I love, love, love Dr. Harris! & this may be small to some, but I last saw him during my transfer on 6/25/24 (my office was in Norfolk), after my transfer I got a hair cut.. the next time I seen him 7/29/24, HE NOTICED MY HAIR CUT!!! He genuinely cared about me. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR YOU IVF JOURNEY! Thank you Doctor Harris, you’ve completed our little family 💕

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Harris. We reached out to Shady Grove in January 2023, had our first consultation with Dr. Harris in February 2023 where Dr. Harris walked us through the entire process of testing our fertility and what a treatment plan would look like. After 3 failed rounds of IUI, we elected to proceed with IVF and I am currently 6+ months pregnant after only undergoing one round of IVF. We feel so lucky. Dr. Harris was there for us throughout the entire process - he and his team of nurses always responded to even the silliest of my questions in a timely fashion and with so much compassion. I had a small scare on a Saturday morning and Dr. Harris even called me on a weekend to address it and to follow up later in the day. He is a calming presence during a scary and overwhelming time, and we could not be more thankful to have had him as our doctor. I only wish we could also be our OB throughout our pregnancy. Thank you Dr. Harris, and your whole team as well!

There aren’t enough positive things to say about Dr. Harris. I was hesitant to work with a doctor that wasn’t local, but that was never an issue. He was always available by phone or video call. And on the morning of my January transfer, he still drove down to Norfolk from Richmond to perform it, despite being his only transfer that day and the ice/snow on the roads!He was so patient with my husband and me, no matter how many questions we had or how many times we asked the same questions.I highly recommend him as your doctor!

I can’t even possibly begin to find the proper words to describe not only the care Dr. Harris provided me during my treatment but the incredible person he is. As an ER nurse and being at bedside for nearly 8 years I’ve had the honor to work along side hundreds of Dr’s and I can say confidently that not one of them has ever come close to having the bedside manor Dr. Harris carries in every visit. Whether it’s a phone conversation to answer my millions of questions, or an ultrasound to see the progress in a cycle he has been by my side, supported me, listened to me. He never rushed once. He never dismissed a single feeling I had. He went above and beyond the call of duty, even returning to work early from vacation to check labs for me and coming in another time on his day off to do my transfer. I sit her 9 weeks pregnant and it’s 100% because of this man and his dedication to not only treatment but making sure I was okay every step of the way. If you are reading this trying to decide on a Dr. this is your sign. He’s your life changer. May all the baby dust fall your way.

Dr. Harris is incredible - after 1.5 years of TTC, my husband and I decided to explore fertility treatments. From the moment we met Dr. Harris, we knew we were in good hands. We felt heard, respected, and judgment-free.Dr. Harris is communicative, accessible, empathetic, and thorough. Throughout our journey, we knew that we could reach Dr. Harris for any questions or worries we had and he would talk with us until we felt confident in the situation, without ever making us feel like a burden. Dr. Harris went out of his way to call us after hours/on the weekend when we were awaiting results and always explained clinical information in an easy-to-understand manner. He is kind and patient, always happy to explain the scary parts of the process in detail.Dr. Harris made us feel like we not only had a doctor on our side, but a friend as well. He is professional but treats patients like people, not just clinical transactions. I can honestly say I have never trusted a doctor more than Dr. Harris. His team at Shady Grove is also phenomenal. We plan to use Dr. Harris again should we need continued assistance growing our family.

Dr. Harris is a very warm and friendly doctor! Ive loved working with him to get pregnant for the first time. I really felt like he was advocating for me through some of my tougher times. He has always answered all of my questions and explained things clearly and thoroughly.

Best physician I’ve seen in years!! He is so kind and knowledgeable. He doesn’t talk down to you. He’s open to questions and was validating of my concerns. I wish he could be my OB throughout my pregnancy. Would recommend for anyone on their fertility journey.

Our experience with Dr. Harris and his team at Shady Grove was more than we could ask for. Dr. Harris took the time to listen and explain each process in full detail. What meant the most to me was his follow up phone calls. He always called to make sure I was doing ok, asked if I had any questions, and took the time to explain each question I had. I was never made to feel like just another patient. IVF can be a very emotional process and Dr. Harris always made sure I was ok emotionally as well. I highly recommend Dr. Harris to anyone that is trying to have a family.

We have absolutely loved our experience with Dr. Harris! Every time we went through any kind of setback, he was always there to help us navigate it. He consistently gave us hope when we had none, while also allowing us the space to process our emotions. He took time out of his day to call us multiple times throughout our journey and made us feel like he had all the time in the world to answer our questions. He’s a very gentle, warm, kind man with a laugh that will make you smile! We can’t recommend him enough, especially since our first transfer worked! ‘Thankful’ doesn’t begin to cover it.

Dr. Harris saw me from my first consultation all the way through my IVF cycle and I could not have had a better experience. Dr. Harris communicated every step clearly and calmly and was a wonderful resource for all of my questions and concerns. Most importantly, Dr. Harris created a unique plan for me based on my test results and treatment responses, which gave me amazing results with as few side effects as possible. I would highly recommend anyone seeking treatment to work with Dr. Harris!

Dr Harris was the best doctor. My husband and I did IUI. We had unexplained fertility. Our first cycle failed. Our second cycle ended in a pregnancy. We truly thank Doctor Harris, and recommend him to other family’s going through infertility!

My husband and I would definitely recommend working with Dr. Harris. He was personable and had a great bedside manner, along with being very knowledgeable. He always made sure to explain things thoroughly and in a way that was easy to understand. He and the Shady Grove staff were also very easy to communicate with throughout the process. I must say Dr. Harris was the only one to figure out what was going on with me. I had been experiencing pain for a full year and seen multiple doctors with no help. He is kind , soft spoken and has excellent bedside manners. I recommend him to all families who need help with family planning.

They made us feel extremely confident because of all the experience they conveyed, they were very kind, explaining step by step with patience and dedication throughout the entire process, Dr. Harris was very kind whenever we spoke with him, he inspired a lot of confidence in us, he was like an angel sent from God is part of being able to work through his hands and the best thing is that he speaks Spanish, all the nurses, secretaries, laboratory, thank you very much ☺️🤗
