100% recommend Dr. Edelstein and his team! We first went to him from 2016-2018. We were so happy with him and his team (especially Lisa--she is the sweetest and got me through some emotional times with our first!) that we went back to complete our family last year. He and his entire staff were wonderful and informative throughout the entire IVF and transfer process.

Dr. Edelstein and his staff were wonderful during my whole IVF journey. At my first appointment with him he gave us hope that we were able to still get pregnant. Everyone was very informative along every step we took and made us feel confident in the care we were receiving.

Dr. E, our nurses (Lisa and Lindsay), and the entire team at Shady Grove were incredible! My wife and I felt that everyone genuinely cared about our process and success throughout our entire journey and were just as happy as we were when finding out about our pregnancy. They are all so caring, involved, knowledgeable, thorough, and quick to respond with our millions of questions. They really made the process as stress-free as possible. Dr. Edelstein was very kind and knowledgable during our fertility journey, we had our first consultation in 2021 and are now 24-weeks along with our first child. Everyone we encountered at the SGF office was so patient, compassionate, and friendly.

We started our IVF journey in January 2023 and as we close out the year and welcome 2024, I am thrilled to say we are also anxiously awaiting the arrival of our baby in February 2024. Deciding to do IVF was something I never imagined Id have to go through, but it ended up being one of the most enriching and comforting experiences my husband and I could have experienced. I love Shady Grove. I had another Dr. for 3 years barely checked in and never transfer any of my embryos. 2 years of failures with my last Dr. After 2 months with Dr. E we are finally pregnant with baby#2. He calls every appt or just to check in. He is a Gods gift to infertility. He brings peace and hope. Never give up.Update: I graduated from the clinic and we are ready to have baby soon.

Where do I even begin?! I have never had a doctor that was so dedicated to their patients. Dr. Edelstein is a wealth of information and he works side by side with his patients. He is open and willing to listen to his patients. We worked as a team and together we accomplished what we set out to accomplish. This journey is definitely not an easy one but he made it tolerable. As a patient when you are so determined to get pregnant and you have the backing of an amazing doctor you are truly unstoppable. I would recommend him to anyone that may need some fertility help. He is truly a blessing to the fertility world.Every great doctor always has an equally great nurse. Dr. Edelsteins nurse Lisa is the reason I stuck it through this long four year journey. She posses the characteristics that anyone would want in a nurse times 10. She is loving, encouraging, patient, smart, and extremely kind. Without her on this journey I am not sure where I would have been. They make the perfect team. I would have changed nothing about this journey because I got to know two people that help make my dreams come true.

Dr. Edelstein and his team at Shady Grove Fertility Richmond have been amazing. Dr. Edelstein has been caring and invested in our success since day one. We started working with SGF due to irregular cycles. Dr. Edelstein ran all of the blood tests, carrier screenings, HSG’s, etc. until we found what seemed to be causing the issues. We tried IUI’s and eventually had success with our first round of IVF. Dr. Edelstein was compassionate in the bad times and happy to celebrate all of the small wins with us as our journey continued. He was always available to offer suggestions and answer any questions we had on the process or protocols. The entire staff at SGF Richmond was a pleasure to work with from the front desk, nurses, ultrasound techs, and Doctors. We graduated today but will certainly be back to see Dr. Edelstein when it’s time to expand on our family again.

Dr Edelstein is wonderful! He is very professional and empathetic, I really felt like he was working with us through every part of the fertility process.My husband and I were using another fertility practice when they basically told us to give up. We decided to get a second opinion and found Dr. Edelstein. He made some simple adjustments to our treatment plan and our son was born In November 2019. We returned to Dr. Edelstein again and am happy to say we are expecting a little girl in December 2021.

I just wanna say that I could have not asked for a better team to be on our side through such a hard time in our life. We struggled for 5 years to conceive after a ectopic pregnancy in 2015. A friend reccomend me to SGF and after months I finally decided it was time to reach out and I wish I had sooner. Dr. Edelstein was absolutely amazing in helping us understand every step along the way and explaining our options to us. We followed his suggestions and after our first round of IVF we are currently 8 weeks pregnant such a blessing 💗 and the nursing team is also as equally amazing anytime I had questions they were always there with the answers and support I needed. Dr. Edelstein is the best! The facility is relaxing make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. Him and his staff showed great concerns and interest in our fertility journey. My Husband and I had been tying to conceive for the past five yeas with no success. After we visited Dr Edelstein at Shady Grove Fertility we had better hope of starting a family. Four months later we are 12 weeks into pregnancy expecting our first child. We are so grateful for Dr Edelstein and the medical team at Shady Grove Fertility. They are the absolute best.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr E & the Shady Grove team! My husband and I did 3 IUIs (didnt work for us) and finally conceived on our first IVF frozen transfer. Starting the infertility testing process can be scary, but Dr E took the time to answer our questions and walk us through all of our options. Above all, we appreciated his kindness during what was a stressful and emotional time. We plan to return to continue building our family!

Dr.E was great & very supportive through my journey. Very informative & his team made sure i had all the information. And when i found out I was pregnant they were excited as family. Highly recommend.

I have been fortunate enough to work with Dr. Edlestein since January of 2020. I currently have one beautiful 13-month-old girl and another healthy pregnancy as a result. Dr. Edelstein’s knowledge and willingness to explain every step of the process in unpresidented. And the care a patient receives extends throughout his staff. His nursing team is AMAZING, responding quickly to any need a patient can image - from medication refills to questions prompted by worry. They reassure their patients and walk alongside them. And when a patient achieves a healthy pregnancy, the whole team celebrates along with the patient. I have always felt that everyone wanted me to have a baby as much as I did.

Dr. Edelstein was not my problem at Shady Grove Fertility. The entire operation is impersonal, sub-par communication skills, feels very rushed and no one ever answers the phone. Dr. E did his job just fine and everything was always on time. I had a lot of issues with prescriptions and allergic reactions. I never, once, got anyone to answer the phone when I called and had to drive back to the office to remedy my issues. I find this unacceptable. I have to say, this is my second IVF pregnancy, and my first experience was with a fertility clinic that was bought by Shady Grove. That prior experience was 10 out of 5 stars, everything was spelled out for me, I knew my doctors nurse, I had her contact information and a very complicated process was easy. Shady Grove is a cattle call of a fertility clinic. I got pregnant and didnt have any issues besides my medications, but I feel for the women having multiple losses with no personal attention being paid to them. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you want good service.

Dr. E. is amazing! He kept us so calm during out last part of our journey of Ivf. He provided us with the information we needed to make informed decisions and also gave us opportunities of what might be best for us in the long run. I have never had a doctor that I felt was more genuine.
