Ive been a patient of Dr. Markidans for several years. She recently moved her office to Princeton, which is a bit of a hike for me, but the drive is worth it. So many womens health centers have become like factories. Dr. Markidans small and personal practice makes one feel like an individual, not a number. Dr. Markidan and her staffs kind and caring natures help alleviate the anxiety many women feel when facing this predictably uncomfortable but necessary part of being a woman.

Dr.Markidan is a professional in his field, very attentive to all details and explained all stages of treatment, a great impression from the first step to the office: a friendly person at the front desk who answered all my questions, a clean office and fast service, also in the office you do not need to worry if your English is not very good, office workers know how to work with people of any language 🤗

Dr. Markidan is a great doctor. She didnt rush me and addressed my issues that other doctors couldnt diagnose correctly or treat me.We have an action plan in place to get me back to normal. I am happy that I went to her.

After years of being dismissed for menstrual pain, Dr. Markidan was immediately caring and proactive with her treatment towards me. She suggested a minimally invasive procedure and put me at ease right away. At the hospital she made me feel so at ease, and was very transparent throughout the process. First time seeing Dr Markidan. What I liked- office staff very nice, paperwork was streamlined (already prefilled so I didn’t have to spend 20 mins doing it), the doctor asked me questions, listened to my concerns, she’s up to date with latest/goes to conferences etc, post appt prescription and communications were prompt and simple. It was my first time here for an annual gyn visit. It was nice that I could get an appointment so quickly. Other places I tried were MONTHS out. The path to the office is so beautiful and calming. I have a lot of anxiety so that was a nice little touch as I walked in. Its a nice building with plenty of parking (so important in Princeton!). The inside was just as nice and very clean which I appreciated. The woman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I saw Jennifer first to do my intake and then Dr.Markidan. Both women were so attentive and really listened. I felt at ease with them immediately. I always feel rushed at the doctors office and not once did I feel that here. I felt heard, safe, and really cared for. It was a refreshing change of pace. Within 5 minutes of looking at previous scans Dr. Markidan was able to identify a possible misdiagnosis I received from KindBody. I am so grateful to her!!! We are now doing further testing to confirm this and I really want to commend Dr. Markidan for her skills and expertise. Her soft-spoken and soothing voice helped me process this potential new diagnosis. Overall, I feel I was treated like a person not just a wallet. She put my needs over financial gain which is what Ive experienced in the past at other places like Kindbody, hence why I left. I am so glad I found this office. My new doctor for sure! Was delighted to discover Dr. Markidans practice. I needed to be seen quickly by a gynecologist and the response was amazing. I called on a Friday and was scheduled for Monday, unlike another practice that could only offer an appointment in 2 months. As a black woman, intimate medical care can be scary as black women’s complaints are often overlooked or minimized at great cost to our health. Thanks to these amazing google reviews (especially reviews from other POCs), I’ve found the best Gyno for me! I came to Dr. M after having been scared straight by Kind Body clinics, convinced that I have to freeze my eggs immediately, which is expensive. Dr. M eased my concerns, patiently explained my labs, and is guiding me through a non-invasive & intuitive family planning journey. She asks me about MY women’s health needs and desires and is not trying to sell me a specific service or prescription. She works well with my primary doctor as well. When visiting with her, I have never felt rushed! In fact, I always leave feeling educated and empowered . It’s a miracle that she takes my measly little insurance lol, her office feels like a high end private practice, from the greenery as you approach the door to the kindness of the staff. Overall, I’m so grateful to report that these positive reviews are SO accurate! I’m grateful to have found a doctor I feel I can trust 🙏🏾

Dr. Markidan was very calming and reassuring during my visit. Explained the procedures perfectly and what to expect. Answered my questions reassuringly. Also gave advice and very empathetic.If I would have any issues, it would be that some private information (like what insurance, what Im there for, name) are being mentioned in the front desk and for everyone in the waiting room (in the same space) to hear, and the staff could try to be more discreet as well.But other than that, I give Dr. Markidan 5 stars for being understanding and empathetic.

Dr. Markidan delivered my second child. I had a difficult experience because I had to have an emergency c-section. I barely have scar from it. She talked to me through the whole experience and kept me calm, so very different from the first delivery with a different obgyn. I love her bedside manner. She talks to you and not down to you, so you feel like youre being listened to. I was happy to see that shes at this practice. I asked for her specifically. My first appointment was informative. Its good to finally feel like Im being listened to. She took her time and addressed all my doubts.

Dr. Markidan is a wonderful woman and an AMAZING doctor! I came to her on a friends recommendation, I felt I had some issues that my current doctor wasnt addressing. Dr. Markidan not only found the issue of fibroids right away but was able to perform my myomectomy all in a super timely manner even with covid going on. I have a lot of ptsd with hospitals and surgeries, I am not an easy patient, but Dr. Markidan literally held my hand through it all. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone that will listen to me. I look forward to my future babies with Dr. Markidan as well (LOL)!!!

Dr. Markidan is a wonderful gynecologist. She takes time to really listen to you, makes you feel comfortable, is very knowledgeable, and takes your care very seriously. I could not reccomend her enough.

Dr. Markidan definitely does her job to a T, but her bedside manner is very robotic/not comforting. She answered most of my questions, but it felt like pulling teeth trying to get an ounce of assurance or guidance. For gynecological matters and issues, I personally prefer a doctor who is warmer, can sense when a patient is nervous or scared, and is patient in answering questions.

I am a 60-year-old woman who has been looking for a female gynecologist in my life. I was always nervous to have my annual exam and keep postponing as much as I can.I finally get the right doctor. Dr Markidan is so patient in listening to my medical history. She is so calm that she would tell me ahead of time what she is going to do next and what would I expect. English is my second language. She would use diagram to explain my condition to make sure I understand. She is not like most doctors to push the patient for surgery in the first spot. She said she would keep eyes on the condition. It’s my first experience seeing Gynecologist with no nervousness. Yesterday was my 1st visit with Dr. Markidan, and it was very pleasant. The staff members were very precise with the current procedures and steps due to Covid, and made sure everyone was checked accordingly. My wait time was less than 5 mins, Dr. Markidan saw me within the 1st 15 mins of my appointment. She was very kind, I did not feel rushed, and overall it was an excellent experience!

I was very annoyed at the length of time I had to wait. My appointment was scheduled for 11:15 and I didnt see the Dr until 11:55.That said, Dr Markidan was informative and listened to my health concerns. I would recommend her, but in the future, I will try to get a first appointment or come after work.

I used to be happy with my yearly routine exams, but then I had a real problem and ... it was a dengerous experience being her patient!!! Otherwise yes - she is very soft spoken, but when it comes to health, thats not the main priority. When I changed the doctor, I was finally diagnosed right and everything turned out ok.

The only reason why i dont give a 5 star rating is because Im a new patient. but it was our interaction that convinced me Im in good hands. I read a study once that women make more empathic doctors and this is evident in Dr. Markidan. I felt hopeful after leaving the appointment that my issues will be resolved or at least she will be helping me figure it out. I hope to be a long time patient.
