I have never been treated by such an incredible team of supportive, informative, sweet and understanding medical professionals. The entire process even with some complications has been one where I felt so grateful to have such great nurses and support staff. Thank you planned parenthood!

The staff was very friendly and reassuring. Even though it was a long wait, they accommodated me as best as they could. The best experience i ever had in a doctor’s office.

This was my best experience getting an IUD yet! Absolutely love this clinic. They made me feel so comfortable and even provided me with a heating pad to help with the cramping. I especially loved Jaime who was so personable and funny! He deserves a raise. I came in as a bundle of nerves and left feeling well taken care of. I highly recommend this clinic!

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. They coherence you into birth control after repeatedly saying no. A nurse here punctured two of my organs and knew and didn’t tell. I had sepsis and almost died two days later and it ruined my life. I lost my house my job my friends and was so underweight from starving I became disabled and had to learn to walk again and needed a caregiver for a year.They coherence you into staying when you try to leave numerous times bf the appt after 5hrs of sitting around there. They rush your procedure which can end in death apparently. They are rude and irritated with you the whole time.

Told me I didnt have a uti & Told me to go to a urologist. I found a new gyno & they confirmed with a urine culture that I DID in fact have a uti! Suffered with pain & confusion for a month & a half till I found a new gyno. Make me feel crazy & basically Told me that there was nothing they could do. Then 3 months later they had the nerve to send me an email saying I should seek treatment for my condition & that my health is my responsibility (sick) also that I should contact them if I have been somewhere after they treated me like this. This place has really gone DOWNHILL.

Love PP but I had the most painful experience of my life here. They messed up my IUD insertion and had to do the procedure twice without any pain meds. I had a nervous system reaction from the intensity of the pain and all the doctor did was apologize profusely and fan me with a clip board. I had labor intensity cramping for the next 7 hours. I questioned whether I could ever have children because of how intense it was. I could barely walk out of the appointment, sweating bullets and no one helped. Doctors take women’s pain for granted. I have pretty severe anxiety before any gyno appointment now. Ask for pain and anti-anxiety meds and don’t take no for an answer. I hope others are never burdened with an experience like this.

I had a great experience here. Doctors answered all my dumb questions without judgment and explained everything to me. The MA was amazing. This is my favorite location now.

Booked me at 12:30. Doctor on lunch. Told me I wouldnt be seen til 1:30 (at the earliest). Ridiculous. I work 2 jobs and Im sick of accommodating incompetency. Fix your scheduling.

Everything about my experience here was wonderful. I arrived early for my appointment knowing I wouldn’t be able to be seen early, and the guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful. He helped with my insurance and checking me in, and explained it would be a bit of a wait. I anticipated waiting longer but as soon as my appointment time arrived they called me back, to my surprise. The rest only took about 40 minutes. Jaime was awesome and super fun to talk to, made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Tasha was wonderful as well and made me feel comfortable and safe and provided excellent care. This was one of the best planned parenthood locations I have been to, the staff is excellent and the facilities are clean and nice, plenty of parking. Highly recommend this location.

The people working here where 100% amazing and caring. I was very emotional and they were all about my feelings I felt loved and cared for the entire time.!!

Ive never left a review anywhere but I wanted to do so for this clinic, because they were truly amazing. I had to have surgical abortion after being freshly postpartum and having some risk of a potentially ectopic pregnancy. Before confirming whether they thought my pregnancy was safe or not they also let me know about resources to ease my worries if I did want to continue the pregnancy, like lactation consultants, etc. My procedure was done by Dr Shaalini Ramahndan. She was an angel! It went wonderfully. The staff was very informed, helpful, were able to properly medicate me for the procedure to have me safely breastfeed afterward. The anesthesiologist talked to me personally about my options. My doctor held my hand as I went under for the procedure which made me feel super safe. My doctor let me know what she found during the procedure personally, and had me come back for blood work the next day. I had such a positive experience here. I was terrified to have this done but it ended up being comfortable and much easier than I expected it to be.

I was accidentally late to my appointment & was at a wrong location until I was sent here & they STILL took me in! :) Everyone here was very friendly, understanding, & made my experience comfortable while I was terrified for my first time. Jaimie (can’t spell his name) brought me in after checking in, he was extremely nice & made the experience somehow fun with his awesome energy. Tasha was very informative & helped me understand everything I needed to know, very happy she was my doctor. Would most definitely come back to this location again when needed!

Everyone here was lovely, supportive and gave me all the information and care I could ask for. Yes the wait time is long, and they are constantly full. But its not the staffs fault, they need more locations. True education and care means taking the time with your patients to make sure they understand the full situation and options. They give you the time and respect you deserve.

I am at a loss for words writing this review. Planned Parenthood is a place that many of us took for granted until the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Walking into this absolutely beautiful location after experiencing the enormous and heartbreaking attack on womens rights was an emotional experience. I found myself gazing all around the facility filled with a deep gratitude that I am able to access the reproductive care that I need while many other women do not have that opportunity in the United States anymore. It changed the way I experienced what would normally have been simply another doctors visit.The building itself is well-built and designed — without a doubt the most beautiful location Ive been to. The staff at the front desks were kind and helpful, and I was able to receive affordable care thanks to them. The providers were professional and went far out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience for me. The service that I received (insertion of an IUD) was painful, as expected, but it was immaterial to me; the fact is, I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity and freedom to endure that pain to protect my health.Planned Parenthood, thank you for all that you do.

They need to teach staff how to draw blood properly. This is the second time I came for testing and they poked me several times to get blood. This is the second time the medical technician has to find someone else to draw my blood because they couldnt do it themselves. The second person that made the attempt to draw my blood had me put on a blood pressure cuff while drawing my blood. Never had to wear a blood pressure cuff to draw blood before. My entire arm hurt during this process and I continued to be in pain for the next three days. Again never had this experience before just to draw blood. Next time Im going to providence - Ive never had this issue with them and they are very fast! Damn.Also there is no point being on time or early for your appointment because they always make you wait 40 minutes after your scheduled appointment time before the nurse actually sees you. I near fell asleep waiting in the room. Its ridiculous. They dont seem very respectful of their patients time at this establishment. Noted.

Since the second i walked through the door, every person i interacted with was so friendly and supportive. especially the new nurse, Iz (i think is her name) .. she was so accommodating and accepting. i felt totally at ease and taken care of and heard. thank you to everyone at this facility for everything you do and how you show up

I just want to truly say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish I could bring your entire team a hug, cookies and coffee. I was absolutely terrified going in and every single person supported me. I had been told different pricing which they honored after realizing I really was doing the best I could as I was coming from a neighboring state with strict laws. The staff was patient with me while I was panicking and didn’t get annoyed like most drs do when it comes to things like needles. My procedure was done much much later than I had ever planned making it be even harder after Mother’s Day/ my birthday. Again THANK YOU I will be forever grateful for my experience with you and thank you for dealing with my emotional asssh!

Easily the most patient, informative and kind staff. They are so good at what they do. I was so anxious and they had me laughing. They work so hard and do their best for each patient and have walk ins. Even though I always have an apt. I have had waits of up to an hour, who cares? SO HAPPY that I get treated here and not somewhere else. Please be easy going with the staff, burn out is real and they are not emotional sponges. They are magnificent. I love Planned Parenthood and have been to many great locations, but am making this post in order to warn others of this location in case they have the same experience. Overall, I remember the appointment going relatively well - but a few weeks after my Pap smear, I received a letter saying I had a test that showed abnormal cells. Confused about why I didn’t get a call and scared about the results, I called the office and talked to a nurse who was adamant that I shouldn’t come in for further testing, that I was fine, and that “the doctor may deny it” if I asked to come in for a Pap smear a year later. By this point, I was extremely confused but accepted that the nurse probably knew better than I did, so I let it go. Almost one year later, today, I’ve gotten a Pap smear with a different office and have tested positive for pre-cancerous cells. I’m finally getting the testing and treatment I needed, but for whatever reason, the nurse from this planned parenthood was absolutely adamant that I should not have appropriate follow up care/testing. So thankful for my new doctor but worried for others who might have the same experience at this office.

I took my daughter there for an appointment She was told they were running late. I was not allowed to wait inside with her but rather told I needed to wait outside. Her appointment was for 3:30. She was seen at 5pm The clinic lights were turned off and people left the clinic and the parking lot was empty at 5:30. At 6 I rang the outside bell to see where my daughter was. Two young women saw me at the door and walked away. At 6:30 my daughter was let out of the building. The outside temperature was 32 degrees and I waited for over 3 hours for my daughter. I nearly called 911 thinking something had happened. The clinic staff does not provide holistic care, but rather expressly ignores a patient’s support system in the operation of their business. Their practice model is geared toward cookie cutter care without regard to the whole patient and their support system. I’m not impressed with this clinic and will no longer be donating money to this organization. I get privacy and Oregon law but denying a patient their support system is criminal. She may have received excellent procedural care, holistic care is a big fat 0. This organization needs to improve their model to ensure support systems are a part of the care provided. Having someone wait for over 3 hours in the cold and not answering a video door Brel intercom after 3 hours is unacceptable. I regret not calling 911 now It would have brought this travesty to the forefront of the clinic management and the national organization.

I did not find the front desk staff to be very helpful. They were extremely dissmissive, hardly made eye contact, and would start conversations with eachother while i was in front of them being helped. I just didnt find them to have very encouraging or comforting personalities for the setting they work in. The rest of the staff was the best ive ever experienced, hence the 5 stars. The doctors and nurses were so nice and comforting and answered all of my questions. They fulfilled every single need i had and made no judgements, i was so grateful. Things will take a very long time even if you schedule an appointment but theyre doing their best to get you seen on time.

I have no words to describe how amazing my experience here was. It’s been so emotional for me to get my procedure, but the staff was out of this world. They were extremely kind, supportive, and understanding. They helped with everything I needed and more. They really helped me get through this tough time and I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and support.

Went in for a new birth control prescription and a Pap smear exam and was treated with such care from the front desk area to the back end. Selena, Dr. Tatianna, Jaime and the team were all such a joy to work with. Highly recommend!!

Instructions to find the entrance to the building unclear. Completely unwelcoming staff at the front desk. Was told to wait 30-40 minutes past my appointment time when I arrived 20 minutes prior to my appointment time. Extremely noisy construction going on inside the building. Not the type of atmosphere to be in if you’re anxious, depressed, have PTSD, etc. The entire point of coming to planned parenthood is to be in a soothing, welcoming and warm environment. This is the worst one I’ve ever been to. Will never come back.

As a 28 year old female student working toward a Microbiology degree and of reasonable, sound mind I wanted to leave a realistic review. I usually read all reviews and ones here worried me, but they must be out right lies because that is not the place I visited. The staff were AMAZING, I was called in so fast I barely had time to text a friend back. I was treated with the utmost respect, kindness and openness by every single staff member (I interacted directly with 5). And despite feeling extremely uncomfortable and sick due to a progressed bladder infection, they made me smile and feel completely at ease. This was, by far, the best experience I have ever had with any doctors office. I would rather never go to a regular doctor again. Positively wonderful first time experience, thank you to all the staff for just being awesome.

I was helped as soon as I got there and was able to get everything done with no insurance. They were super nice, made me feel comfortable, and did everything they could to ease my anxiety. My nurse was the best, and not only was it cheaper but I got the most put of what i paid for including funding for birth control. They were clean and precise and Ive never felt better about myself and my health. Thank you guys!!!

Wasted my gas and time. Called to make an appt and they said there was an opening at 140. Time was 1220 so I agreed. Showed to my appt on time. Was made to wait 30 min in the lobby while 200 appts were called back. 30 min after appt time, I ask to use the bathroom and they don’t have public restrooms. So I decide to reschedule cause I have other obligations at 3 anyway. She said “yeah, they don’t have you assigned to a room, so it would be a wait.” I wanted to support planned parenthood by using their services, but instead I’ll schedule with my PCP from now on. Also at this location GPS leads to the back, so you have to follow a map 5 min walk to the door. Very annoyed.

Do not go here!!! They are so unprofessional and inconsiderate of you’re time so if you book a appointment at 10:00AM you probably won’t be seen until 1 to 2 hours later just unacceptable people have jobs, children and other things they have to do other responsibilities so I expect if I book my appointment I don’t expect to be seen two hours later or an hour later I expect to least be seen within 20 minutes of my appointment time !!!! They need to get a better handle on that asap!!!

The ladies here are wonderful. Wait time can be a little long, but the staff more than makes up for it. Everyone from the front desk to the nurse practitioner or doctor are always really nice, and they always seem genuinely concerned about my health instead of just rushing me in and out. Ive been unemployed for a bit and theyve always worked with me to make sure my services were discounted or completely covered. They also take the time to explain everything and answer any possible question you might have. This is definitely the one to go to.

Lovely staff working there, kind, and informative. My wait wasn’t long and I was checked in quickly. I interacted with 4 employees and all of them were diligent and helpful with everything including answering questions etc. I felt comfortable, heard, and safe. Definitely recommend this clinic.

One or more of the following are true about this Planned Parenthood:- They are understaffed and unable to service the number of patients they have effectively- They are fully staffed but are extremely slow or ineffective workers- They are unorganized or have issues scheduling properlyIf you go here you will spend 1-3 hours waiting to be seen, beyond your appointment time.

When I got my second IUD they cut my strings at the cervix (way to short). Now they will have to use special procedures to remove it. Also the wait times here are atrocious, expect to wait at least 3 hours front start to finish (despite appointment times). Friendly staff aside from that. I feel if my appointments were more prompt, Id be more apt to donate when they ask you at the end.

Made an appointment but not sure why. Been sitting here for 2 hours, whats the point of making an appointment if you arent even going to be seen at that time? Seriously two hours, in the waiting room. Not to mention how long ill have to wait once they finally call me back. Kind of frustrating considering I have a life and my time is valuable to me, also I did have other things i wanted to do today that im now too behind to get done.Thanks for that, planned parenthood. I love you but seriously a 2 hour wait when I have an appointment is unacceptable.

EVERYONE.... from registration, to lab draws, to the practitioners....everyone was TOP NOTCH. And I admit, having been a nurse for a long time, my standards are high. I felt well informed and supported holistically as a person throughout every step of my care..... even through a tough and worrisome circumstance. Everyone was really genuine, competent and capable, and most of all compassionate. I cant speak highly enough of their services. I highly recommend this facility.

I’m going to be honest, I had surgery here. I was told I would be comfortable before hand, then one of the nurses convinced me I didn’t need pain meds or anti anxiety meds. Even though I was clearly having a panic attack. After what felt like pulling teeth the nurse gave me Ativan to calm my nerves but when the procedure was done it was the excruciating thing of my life. I was left in pain and uncomfortable for hours. I think maybe it was a new nurse. Lisa I want to say? My experience was great until she came on as my nurse. Triggered instant panic attack with an already seriously situation going on. Hope she doesn’t work there if I ever need to come back.

I had a GREAT experience here. Made an appt in advance, so I was in and out within an hour - wait time included. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and knew their stuff. The doctor was hands-down the best physician Ive ever had. I will be returning to this location and would recommend it.

Had an appointment today and they canceled on me because of the weather which I understand but when I call to reschedule my appointment the only option the offered me was a week later. So unfair that I am ready for my appointment and that’s the best they could do when it’s urgent.

I had an appointment at 10:50 am. It is now 11:45am, I am still waiting. I watched 3 people that checked in after me go back, but since I am being seen by a provider that is running behind I have to wait at least another hour. I have to be at work at 2pm and I am going to have be late to my job. Not to mention Im paying $200 out of pocket. This place is a joke and if I could give 1 star i would. Screaming kids with abusive parents in the lobby and rude staff that told me This is just the reality of the situation. UNACCEPTABLE!!

Made an appointment around 10 have been sitting in the room for almost an hour and half just for a simple shot. Drs are nice tho

I used to have blue cross blue shield insurance and recently I have dropped them as an insurance provider. Im on birth control and with my insurance they were only allowing me 1 pill pack a month so I would have to go in every 3 weeks since I skip the brown pills, I came into the NE branch and got on C Care and now today I got the rest of my birth control packs for the next 14 months! They were super nice and the front desk was really helpful.

I really liked my last nurse practitioner Marie Gibbs this time. She seemed informative and kind. However, there are two huge reasons Im giving this PPH 2 stars. One, the appointment time. Last time it took three hours and this time two hours forty minutes. I had scheduled appointments both times. The waiting was roughly two hours for each. Two, the first nurse practitioner didnt seem to know the basics of how to treat my procedure. I went in for a LEEP procedure follow up. She was so confused about the protocol and without answers, that I helplessly called my old doctor for advice after the appointment. I will say she consulted the main nurse practitioner and called me back OVER A WEEK LATER. Her advice: Dont come back in. Everything is fine. I didnt feel fine! Thankfully, Id already scheduled a follow up with the woman who does and follows up LEEPs, Marie Gibbs. 😇I cant imagine if I was a young woman walking in there knowing nothing about medicine and listened to the first np. Anyway, I love to support PPH but will have to skip ever coming back to this specific clinic. Seriously team, get the time thing together and train your people properly or reschedule a patients appointment with someone who actually does said specific follow ups. Very disappointing.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A P.O.CI am a college student and I live near PSU, I went to this business this week Wednesday because I was experiencing UTI symptoms. I got visually examined and swabed and tested.I was extremely patient and was prescribed 2 medications I was told would turn my pee orange. They said it should help although it did not treat UTI. I was skeptical and very busy so I picked up my medication 2 days late. I get a call late evening, saying I actually do have an UTI, after I already paid for my medication and billed my insurance. They said it would have made my uti worst and that was the wrong medication. So they sent me another medication I had to pay for. So I paid for 3 medications when I needed 1. I asked could IF I COULD have a refund for the two medication I didnt need and was told no even though it was a mistake on the doctors part. These people went so far as to suggest I ask the pharmacy for my money back.. Also, though I having no medical degree said I had a UTI from the beginning. I felt DISRESPECTED and TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF by this CLINIC. After making a mistake the least you can do is give me a refund. Not to mention I have epilepsy and if I take medication with bad side effects it could cause me to have a seizure. I DONT RECOMMEND COMING HERE AS A PERSON ON COLOR. THEY WONT TAKE YOU SERIOUSLY. Not to mention my appointment was at 1:20 and I left around 4pm...I am 18 and african american FEMALE

I came here for an annual exam, only for privacy. I made an appointment for 1:20 and now at 2pm am sitting in my car after waiting that long to get called back. I asked how long it would take before I was seen and she said probably another 10-15 minutes after the 10 minutes Id spend with her. How could something opperate so inefficiently? And why do they not tell you on the phone that youre expected to spend 2 hours there, or let you know at check-in that youll wait 40 minutes before even being called back and probably another 20-30 before youll be seen? Thank God I have other options, this is absolutely lidicrous theyre able to run things this way. I will never ever go back to Planned Parenthood.

This location is CONSTANTLY OVER AN HOUR BEHIND. Each appointment Ive had here, I havent even been called back until an hour after my scheduled appointment. The SE location is the same. It doesnt matter if you show up on time, early, at opening, middle of day or closing. While the staff is great and worls very hard, it makes having a busy day even busier with how behind they run. Plan on 3 hours total for any appointment you have here.

PATIENT BEWAREMy girlfriend had an appointment at 8 AM. When she checked in the attendant said she could not find her appointment information. She then told her. Let me actually look this time. It is now 2 PM and they are barely taking her in. This place needs to really step up the scheduling and handling of the patients. Worst place to ever go to. BEWARE. There is a friendly location in beaverton with better providers that actually care.

When making the appointment on the phone I was told that the visit will cost me $77. After arriving to the clinic the lady at the check in desk said that there was a misunderstanding and I will pay €104. Well, ok. After the exam I was told at the check out that I have to pay €153 - double the original qoute! This is absolutely unacceptable and inconsiderate to the patients. Also, I was left waiting in the exam room, undressed, for more then 20 minutes. Conclusion: dont come here unless you have lots of time and spare money on your hands, that you dont know what to do with!

C-Care patients beware. I was told that my appointment would either be covered by my insurance, or if it wasnt covered, that C-Care would cover the rest. They even told me to call if I got a bill for it. I called, and PP told me that C-Care actually doesnt cover it. Now Im paying $120 out of pocket for a service I was told would be free. I thought planned parenthood had my back but once again let down by the health care system.

They will meet your needs, cant complain about their medical services. Plan for an hour minimum in the waiting room after your scheduled appointment. They are never even close to on schedule. They will try and talk you into signing petitions and will ask for donation after appointment.

Only negative thing was long wait time, at least an hour after your appointment before getting called to an exam room. Staff is nice & knowledgeable, they do not make you feel rushed. Ask about the charges for each test before they test you! HIV test was not free!

Horribly inefecient health organization. Had post vasectomy analysis. Paper they gave me said bring in sample within 2 hours. Brought a sample, was told Gotta have an appointment. They threw my sample away rather than putting a label on it and doing the analysis, both would have taken the same amount of time to accomplish. This group just wants to milk insurance for a new appointment that isnt necessary, and wasnt even communicated during pre-vasectomy. Im thinking about just buying a cheap microscope and doing it myself, this way they dont get any more $$$. After being a lifetime donor, and a believer in Planned Parenthood, Im ceasing ALL further donations.

Great place!Whenever I need to get an annual check up I come here, whenever my friends need help making good parenting choices I come here.If I need services becuase of an accident I come here!I love this place, the service is wonderful, your treated with respect, and absolute kindness.I have never had a bad experience with this place. They bully you into birth control pills against your will even if you state youve done horribly on them all. And then make unnecessary comments about your weight and needing to lose weight which has absolutely no bearing on these visits. Bmi is about as scientific as blood letting and lie detector tests. All have been debunked. Im a pro athlete. As The Office meme states I know more than you about weight, food and physical performance. If I was 120lbs Id be skin and bones. Get up to date with real science. The Victorian age called and wants their bmi back. What if I had an eating disorder? Many womxn do. Super harmful.

Went there for some bloodwork I needed, they got me in the next day after I called them. Yes, I waited in a room for a long time several times in between people who came into talk to me while I was waiting for the draw, but it beats waiting months to try and see a primary physician so glad they provide the health services they do at rates that are affordableish

When the white privileged doctors I had been paying out of pocket ghosted me after taking thousands of dollars and making me more ill than I have ever been before (Blake and Metro of portland clinic of holistic health) planned parenthood was the only place I could get medical advice on my autoimmune symptoms. Everyone there is so on their game, professional and competent. I appreciate their dedication to the portland community.

This is my favorite location Ive been to - yes, the wait can be long, but I feel like I actually get the attention and detail that I need. The staff Ive encountered at this location have been friendly and caring. I am so glad you guys are here!

I’ve had excellent service with everyone I’ve worked with at this location. I’ve had a couple of minor procedures and received birth control. Exceptional service. Caring and helpful. No rushed.

I will definitely never return to this locatiom horrible my appointment was at one got here at 12:45 its now 2:45 and alls they can say is sorry 15 more minutes. Absolutely not and this is the second time I highly recommend going to a different location.

I went in for an IUD check up. Turns out they did test on me without me even knowing. Now I owe 150 dollars to their lab which I never agreed on or had any clue of. I called billings to explained the situation, which the lady was super rude and unprofessional yelling at me, then hung up on me.

Came to get a birth control removed, the doctor accused my husband of cheating. And while my son and my husband were in the waiting room, the nurses made passive aggressive comments about my three year old son.

They play 90s slow jams in the lobby. 10/10, no notes

This is by far the greatest health care place I have ever been to.The staff is really loving and nurturing.If they were closer they would be my primary health care providers.

Everyone is so nice. They always make sure your comfortable no matter what your there for.

I was given so many options and felt that I was listened to even more than at my PCP. Excellent care. Thank you all for the services you provide

HAD ME COME IN FOR AN 1130 APPOINTMENT WASNT SEEN UNTIL 5PM. Go to a different location. Wasted my whole day.

Grateful for the work they do for community health and they are saving lives with their free and affordable cancer screening and STI tests.

They close at 6:30 I needed service, they locked their doors when I got there at 5:30pm and just stared at me not letting me in while they continued to help others. Wont be coming back.

Worst experience ever! Had an apt at 3. Checked in waited for almost an hour, finally got brought back and still waiting in the room at 5. Beyond annoyed right now.

Wouldnt recommend if you want to be comfortable

Planned parenthood called my girlfriend to discuss an issue. When she politely questioned their reasoning they hung up on her.

Dont go here my girlfriend came in and tatiana helped her very rude and very slow and talked down to her coworkers she is very unprofessional
