In case you were wondering if it’s still a current problem: no, you will not be seen at this place even with an appointment. I waited 2+ hours for simple std testing (with an appointment!) following an assault; I was ultimately never seen and left without help. Multiple other patients were kept waiting for hours despite having appointments, and even those who literally couldn’t wait any longer were ignored (saw a guy ask for his urinalysis on the spot because he was worried about peeing himself in the lobby with his unknown wait time, and I was honestly right behind him.)Those working here lack empathy and compassion from the moment you enter the building, but furthermore are not even nice individuals. It’s seriously not worth it to book a service here; you’ll be looked down on, inconvenienced, and will most-definitely be waiting for the majority of your day.Seek patient care elsewhere, this is a terrible clinic individually.

Location of this place is correct on Google maps. I went there for a lab, was in and out in 20 minutes. Clean, professional atmosphere

Appointments are pointless but go ahead and make one because you’ll be waiting even longer if you don’t. Long story short, I took time off work to come in to get a year refill on my birth control; I was there for over TWO HOURS. I was in a room for over an hour waiting for the Doctor to come in to ask me three simple questions.... PP get your priorities straights, there is absolutely no reason that a refill should be taking up so much time and space. I was there after 4pm and they close at 3:30. My appointment was 2:10. I arrived 15 mins. If I knew it would take so long I never would of went.Regardless, the staff is friendly (but take their sweet time) and the clinic itself was clean and feels safe.

Only getting 1 star cause 0 isn’t a choice.. came in 20 minutes early for a 1pm appointment. Front desk was rude to my girlfriend right off the bat... then said she would have us back by our appointment time. We then sat in the lobby while the room filled up with people arriving after us (remember we were also early for our appointment). The nurses called every other person that arrived after us back before finally calling us back to a room at 1:50 (50 minutes past our appointment time)... back to a room where we are still sitting 45 minutes later.... waiting!!Epic fail, why make appointments if you can’t keep them.. no excuses for this place.I wouldn’t be in business if I did half as bad for my customers and I’m not even in the business of caring for people’s health.

The staff was very friendly and professional. I made an appointment online earlier, so I arrived 10 minutes early for paperwork. It took another 15 minutes until I was seen. Abby was super pleasant and easy to talk to. I did have to wait in the room for another 25 minutes before the doctor could see me, but I was prepared for that. Overall a very good experience. I will absolutely use this location again.

Incredibly disappointed with PP. It is a great organization and they are not representing them well. My boyfriend and I came in for my appointment at 1:50. We got out at 4:28. Almost 3 hours.. At the one in NE area would get me in and out by 30 minutes, no problem. I had a very minor issue, nothing severe. It closed at 3:30. Now, were stuck in traffic which will take us 50 minutes to get home instead of 15. Im not surprised now why they have such bad reviews. The doctor was nice about it tho. Still no excuse.

Called to make an appointment to refill my birth control pills. Was told I didnt need an appointment and I could just walk in. Came in at 1:45 to refill, still sitting in the lobby its now 3:30, still havent got my ONE pack of birth control. Im a super patient person, I never leave reviews but I felt this one was necessary. I almost feel like my time is invaluable :(

I was greeted and checked in right away. Granted I was about 20 minutes past my appointment time but I had quite a bit of paper work to fill out. After I was seen the nurses answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable about getting my Pap smear. I would go to this location again!

Do NOT go to this location. There are many other locations that are 10 times better. Rude staff, ridiculously​ long wait times. Came here with my girlfriend for her appointment, a simple check up basically. Her appointment was at 1:50pm and the doctor didnt even come in the room until 3:50pm and then told her she would have to wait even longer! This is uncalled for! Go to another location youll be treated a lot better. At least the doctor was nice though!

Love planned parenthood, they have helped me so much over the years. The thing I don’t like about them is despite making at appointment at 1:40, I had to sit in the waiting room for an hour and then I got stuffed into a room for another hour while the service I needed was only supposed to take “about 15 minutes”. If you plan on coming here, make sure you either get here right when they open or be ready to cancel plans because you’ll be here all day

This place is terrible. Came here because my sister had an appointment. Her appointment was set for 4pm which we arrived for at 4pm. At 5pm I asked how much longer until someone would call her back they said, Oh theres only 1 person in front of her. However, this was obviously not true as 4 other people were called back before her. Also, all 4 people that were called back before her showed up after we got here. So not fair. 1 of the employees here were nice most were really rude. Will not be coming here again. I asked how come so many people were called in front of my sister because we were here first Anns had an appointment and I was told its because they have different providers. Wow, really??? That shouldnt matter. I believe its because they have a higher paying insurance and not state insurance. But whatever. Then we were offered to reschedule her appointment as come back another day. Like why would we do that? To come back and wait even though we have an appointment while several others get called back? No thanks!

If i could give this a negative 5 stars i would. Called 3 hrs before and got an appointment set up for 1pm to get a birth control implant out. Showed up 15 minutes before to update everything in my file just to end up waiting 1hr and 15 minutes in the waiting room then when I got back to the room I ended up waiting another 45 minutes just to see the doctor and have a simple procedure that took 5 maybe 10 minutes to remove a tiny tube out of my arm. I ended up having to rearrange the rest of my day today because of this and Ive been going to plan parenthood since high school after todays experience I really wish the gresham location was still open at least there they understood that if you had a appointment you were in at that time not in an hour and 15 minutes after and be done and leaving a total two hours later. If value time or are planing on doing things after ur appointment I DONT recommend going to this location.

Theyre super polite and they know their stuff, but this office is just SO SLOW. I once waited a whole hour for the doctor to show up after the nurse was done with me. And that was after waiting an hour past my appointment time to even get called back from the waiting room. Come on guys, speed it up! I dont really want to spend half my day in your office!

Been using planned parenthood all my life same with parents and grandparents, love and trust in planned parenthood but this location was by far the worst! Staff is pretty rude, dont really talk to you, people having loud phone calls in the lobby?? Unclean back room and my partner was called a liar by the doctor... dont think Ill ever be back to this. This location was an hour away from my house and the quickest to be seen or wouldnt have thought twice about coming here :/. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour, when i got there 30 minutes ahead of my actuall appointment, had several (over 5 people) who came in behind me, with appointments after my appointment (overheard a lady say hers was over an hour after my own) be seen and leave before i was put in the back room... When I asked about why that was, I was given a quick rude well call you when were ready. Really a dissapointing experience especially with over 4 years of above and beyond expectations. Really hope something is done

I dont know what the deal with this location is, but every time Ive had an appointment Ive waited a minimum of an hour and a half past my appointment time to be seen. Even when I schedule for right when they open. None of the other locations in town seem to have this problem so Im not sure what the issue is. I also went over all of my income information on the phone when I made my appointment and was told getting my iud removed would be covered by their funding plan and if I needed additional services they would be discounted. When I showed up to my appointment I was informed nothing would be discounted and I would need to pay the full price to get the iud removed. Again, never had any issues at the other locations and my income hasnt changed. I wont be scheduling here again.

~This location is closed down and they have moved to a brand new location/building on SE 146th but google has not yet been updated! The new location does not show up in google search yet for some reason~I got my first copper IUD put in today at the Planned Parenthood on SE 146th, it’s a brand new building new location super nice and clean. My appt was at 8:10, got there at 8 they called me back by 8:12. The nurse gave me a pregnancy test just for precaution, then went over everything with me and answered all my questions. Then the doctor came in to insert it she was very quick and professional, the doctor was really nice I felt at ease, she explained everything as she was doing it. I was out the door by 8:48 exactly. Highly recommend this location, I liked it better than the one on MLK. MLK didn’t have any openings so they sent me to the SE location, I was worried at first because I’ve never been there but as soon as I got there I was like wow this place is nice. The building and location is brand spanking new. I’ll be coming to this location from now on if I ever need anything.

Ive had fairly positive experiences with this location. The receptionists have been very kind, and very informative when Ive asked many questions about my payment options and other health-related questions. Ive never been rushed by the nurses or doctors - in fact, I have spent more time in the exam room with PP docs than I have with my own General Practitioner!The only downside to this location is the wait. I believe its because of the large populous of this low-income neighborhood and the high demand for affordable birth control and annual check-ups. When I didnt have a doctor, I went to this PP for affordable pap smears, annual lady check-ups, and free birth control. They take good care of you, but you do end up waiting as though you are at the DMV. I cant blame the docs for that. There are SO MANY PEOPLE in Portland now days, and so few PP offices.

If I could leave no stars I would. The staff were pleasant enough. It was the wait time. I made an appointment and wasnt even called back from the waiting room until 1 hour and 15 minutes after my appointment time. Then I sat in a room alone for another hour and 45 minutes! My boyfriend came with me and I was just getting a depo shot! A shot! Once the 3 hrs had passed and I finally got my shot (that took about 30 seconds total) I was damn near ready to give myself the shot. I felt really bad for my boyfriend who sat patiently waiting. Ive been going to planned parenthood for years in Colorado and just moved back to Portland. In Colorado the waiting room was just as busy except they actually honored appointment times. I could be in and out of the office in 10 minutes. Here, Ive got to wait 3 hours just to get pricked with a needle. Its downright outrageous. I would not reccomend going here if you value your time because they sure dont.

Went there to pick up birth control pills monthly,, entering 4mins before their closing time, ended up told their clock passed closing time. With the existence of computes right there. I raised my phone time and argued they should post the unusual rule online. The manager who drove away nurses then agreed to help me. Appreciated. I understand they use the trick to finish work earlier but its not reasonable if there is no notification. Even if they put that on website, I would prefer they mark everywhere 3:20 rather than 3:30. Communication is the key.

Ive been going to Planned Parenthoods since I was 15 years old, now 33 years old. Ive been going to SE location for 8 years and my last visit was the worst experience ever.I went in for my annual prescription renewal, and they tell my insurance has only approved one month supply vs. 12 months. It was too late to call, since it was after 5pm to confirm. The next day, I call my insurance, they say my plan does allow 12mn supply to be picked up at one time. I called PPH back, let them know this - I get quite a bit of push back, which was surprising, but I urged them to call and confirm. A few hours later, PPH calls me back, says they can fill my prescription if I come in now. I tell them the soonest I could get there would be 4:30pm since I work full time. Again, I get an unusual amount of push back stating they cant fill a script unless Im physically there and if I get there too late, they wont be able to fill it unless my insurance company is on the phone. I tell them thats not true - if they have an auth from my insurance, they can fill it regardless if Im physically present or not. Im told this is a PPH rule.Regardless, I tell them I can get there at 430pm, my insurance is open till 5pm - well make this work. I get there at 430pm and the computers are down at PPH.Im very, very frustrated at this point. Call the next, because the auth that my insurance gave was only valid for one day, theyve now cancelled my request and I can not apply for a year supply of birth control for another 30 days. Now, Im super annoyed.Before I can even call PPH to make a complaint, Beaverton PPH calls me saying that my order was sent to them but since I didnt pick it up within the auth deadline, theyve cancelled my prescription. By now, Im so pissed I cant speak.I work in healthcare - this is ridiculous. PPH is an AMAZING organization that does so much good for women, men, LGBTQ community, POC, etc. I will continue to use their services but they need to get their pharmacy trained properly. None of this should have happened.

Despite having an appointment, I waited an hour to be seen. Then despite knowing Im there for lab work and despite saying they accept Aetna, they proceed to use a lab that doesnt accept Aetna. I found out after the fact when I got the bill. I support the work PP does, but theyre not exactly competent on the administrative front.

Love the costumer service here, first time patient and they were all EXTREMLY NICE ! Had a little chit chat with one of the employees their. Had no problems at all my appointment was at 8:40am and was out by 9:10am . Quick and easy. They answered all my questions. Will be going back soon 💞👶 .

I wish I had read the reviews before I even sat and wasted my time in this pathetic excuse for a clinic. I showed up early for my appointment and still end up an hour later with no services. What is the point of have an appointment if it doesnt matter. The front lady tells me Im next but then this girl after me goes in, her explanation, a urine sample, the same damn thing I need and wanted done. I wish I could give negative stars.

I love going to this clinic. I always feel respected, safe, and comfortable. I know I can get the care I need and that any questions I have will be answered with a kind and caring attitude. Everyone who works this organization should get roses and a thank you card--you help me be a healthier person!

I went in to get my old IUD out and a new one inserted. I dont know what the doctor did, because my first one I had no problems with, just a little cramping, but could still drive and everything. This time, however, I nearly passed out, couldnt see straight, walk straight, ended up lying down on the sidewalk until my mother came to pick me up. I missed my last day of work because I had to go straight to bed and deal with the most excruciating pain of my life. Afterwards, I had constant cramping pain every day, especially when I ate food, so I stopped eating and lost ten pounds unintentionally. This went on for two months until I could get to a gynecologist and have it removed. I feel like when I was lying on the table sweating, breathing heavily, begging for water, clearly close to passing out, the doctor should have double checked that she inserted it correctly. It was a traumatizing experience and I now have panic attacks any time my doctor pulls out the speculum. I do not recommend getting an IUD from this place.

Had to go here twice now and have been quoted one price then got a bill that was over $100 more than quote both times. They give you a decent price on the phone but then when you check out its shocking as someone who has to pay out of pocket and not covered by health insurance. Over $100 difference is huge, should quote more accurately to begin with. Staff are friendly but way overpriced.

I was early to my appointment and have been waiting over an hour now. Both times Ive been to this location Ive been dismissed and treated like an annoyance. They told me Id be the next to be called about 20 minutes ago. I just want to be seen and go home instead of wasting my entire afternoon sitting in the waiting room.

Went to this location for the first time today and Im really pleased with my care. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Appointment was on time and the nurse practitioner I saw was great and listened to my concerns.

Wonderful experience. Got me in and out quickly. I did a medical abortion. It was explained really well. I felt safe and not judged. They were very helpful and answered all of my questions. I am also a larger woman. I was treated with respect and not shamed for being big. It made my decision much easier and that I was doing the right thing. Thank you PP.

The wait times are outrageous , it doesnt matter if you make an appointment or not , Ive waited over an hour each time after my appointment time to get called back . The staff is friendly but there slow as hell. They need to stop overbooking because people make there appointments according to there day . If you come here dont plan to do anything but be here for the whole day .

Worst planned parenthood Ive ever been to. The doctor -Lisa- wouldnt prescribe me the same birth control Ive been on for almost a year. And when I asked why and told her it was ridiculous she said I was getting irate. Screw this place. Go to a different one. They only care about getting off work at their scheduled time.

The staff is friendly, bright and extremely helpful. I have spent less time in this waiting room all together than single sits in other offices. I love what these guys do and how they do it.

Great staff, the Natropath I saw there got me into Epic for ultrasounds right away & all of the people that work there are always so kind. Im grateful for yall!

Everyone keeps complaining about the wait but honestly the wait is so worth the care. The docters and nurses are absolutely amazing 10/10 experience every time Im in there.

Super snotty receptionists- website says to walk in, she says to call and make appointment, I ask to make one now and she says I have to call? Am I really calling from the parking lot to make an appointment? Not sure they can get any dumber.

I saw a lot of bad reviews so I was nervous about going here, but it was the only place with availability so I went, my apt was early in the morning so that may have affected wait time for the better considering other reviews, though it was already really busy, I waited abt an hr but that is completely normal for any of the locations Ive been to with an apt, NE I think was nearly 2 hrs, SW is generally an hr or a bit less, but I can easily say this was the most thorough attentive Dr. I have yet to encounter through PPHD Lisa Benitez, I wanted to hug her by the end of the apt, so I thought I would give her some props on here, Thanks Doc.

Ive been here a couple times and Im disappointed that everytime Ive been Ive had an average wait time of 90 mins,walk ins were seen before people whom had established appointments and I feel that they either need a TV to entertain people waiting or they need to find a better system to keep the lines moving... the TV seems cheaper.

The doctors are always very knowledgeable and kind. The wait isnt too bad, usually. Administration and nurses are professional and very helpful. Thank you!

Great staff, great doc visit. They quickly supplied me with birth control pills and gave a helpful consultation to pick the right ones.

Made an appointment at 12PM. Got checked in at 11:48AM. Its 12:51PM now and Im still waiting. Whats the point of making an appointment in advance?

Online appointment system worked well. The staff was quick and courteous and answered all my questions. Didnt need to wait long.

I would never go to planned parenthood again They are unreasonable with the questions they ask if you refuse to answer them they wont see you also make you wait a 2 hour wait in the waiting room planned parenthoods should be closed down never going to them again would recommend just going to a doctors office rather than them.

Awful service! I was not seen until after an hour of my set appointment. Many people who were here long after me got seen before I did. I was very upset about this because it was very inconvenient to my day!

Last time I went in I had explained I was pregnant n bleeding but I wasnt on my feet n had no health insurance. They refused me service. 🖒

I really respect what Planned Parenthood does, but waiting over an hour to even be checked in for a scheduled appointment is outrageous.
