Southern California Medical Center Pico Rivera

I have been coming here since the beginning of the year. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Tony has assisted me in taking my vitals a few times, today and a few other times in the past, and is always very kind. Dr. Lien is my provider, and is simply the best. Appointments are always quick, but she makes sure to address all my concerns.

I come to this clinic at least 2 times a month for follow up appointments and always greeted by the best staff. Today I was taken care of by Tony and he is a great medical assistant and always smiling! He is a great listener to my comments and questions.

Good experience, today. I had a doctor’s appointment at Southern California Medical Center in the Pico Rivera location. Staff assisted me well and professionally. Mainly, Ms. Sujey when checking with my vitals. She was very kind and thorough with her assistance. I like attending this location because of Dr. Lein. However, I was not able to see her this visit but another doctor took care of me. She was also very helpful and answered my concerns. Thank you.

I am grateful for all the skillful staff who make me feel welcomed. My veins are difficult to find but they always get it on the first try. I had my follow up appointment today and was in and out in 30 minutes, I appreciate Lin taking care of my health. Thank you Anthony for helping me out and always being professional.

I’m not a person that usually leaves reviews but I had to come out here and thank everyone but specially thank Rolando for making my visit the best, now days there’s sadly bad customer service in the medical field but getting treated by Rolando reminded me that not everyone is the same and that there’s is still people that love their job, I was able to tell he loves his position and job. He was very helpful, respectful and kind, loved his treatment, keep it up Rolando! Thank you once again.

This is a nice and welcoming facility that is very hospitable and efficient. They listen to you, take the time to understand your concerns and address them in an orderly and professional manner. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who needs a medical team to address their health needs. My experiences with Dr Lien Tran have been very courteous and professional. She’s taken the time to listen to me and all of my problems and address them with a comprehensive approach. Thank you for taking care of me!

Such a great clinic. I’ve been coming here for years. Any random issues I have with my body. They’ve always been able to see me the day of.even when I have do to walk ins, I didn’t wait longer than 30 minutes. Doctor Lien is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She’s been my primary doctor for many years and I’d highly recommend this clinic.

Very nice place always feeling welcomed, today I got helped by sujey. Making sure I got accommodated and answered any questions that I had. Whenever I come with my baby he is welcomed by all the nice people in the clinic making sure that he is comfortable with his visit. My favorite clinic so far! They care about my time and my well being!!!

We were attended by Tony for the second time now and I can for sure say that he makes my daughter feel safe and comfortable, he’s really great at what he does and if I’m honest he’s definitely one of the best here.

I came in for an appointment the other day and Angel helped me with a primary care physician change. She was very patient and pleasant. I would highly recommend this clinic and its doctors. Dr. Lien Tran took her time and listened to my concerns. Defenatly will be recommending her to my family members.

I’ve been coming to this location for a few months already, but since I’ve been here, I love the energy with all the employees. it’s clean and organized everyone’s friendly the person that usually takes me to take my vitals is Tony. He is a great guy really friendly. I feel comfortable when he’s asking me questions about my health.

I totally recommend this clinic. When I come in I am always greeted very nicely by Angel and Kenya at the front desk and Sujey and Elizabeth are always there to listen to my concerns.

Doctor Lien is a great. Very thorough and comforting and will get you in and out. Shes positive and shows empathy.

Tony is alway really nice really welcoming and really helps no matter what you come in for he always makes you feel better about the situation definitely makes you feel like is a judge free zone

Been coming here for a few years. I come because it’s close to my house. The doctors are nice, the nurses are a hit and a miss. Today the receptionist nurses are always very rude.In my years of coming here the best service I’ve had is when I see Nurse or Dr Sujey. She’s personable, nice, genuinely cares about you. She really tries to make sure you aren’t waiting long and does everything in her power to get you in and out. I give her and the doctors 5 stars. The receptionists I give 2 stars because they do have some nice ones. Overall nice doctors office. Usually low wait times.

I had an amazing experience here. It was my first time coming here so I wasn’t really too sure about the place but I could say that the staff here are amazing. Vanessa Lorenzo was the one that helped me and all I could say was that she was an amazing person and was very patient on me and gave me the help that I needed.

When to the clinic and the front office Kenia and Angel was nice and Sujey and Vanessa help me with my question for my physical had a great experience there where all so polite and caring people.

Sujey was able to get my vein really quickly when collecting blood and she was super polite and sweet. Anthony was super helpful during my appointment and kept me informed on the steps of my appointment. Lien did my examine and made sure all my concerns were addressed during my examination. I recently received physical therapy at Southern California Medical Center at their Pico Rivera and Long Branch locations from a physical therapy assistant, Maryam. It was a great experience in every single way someone can imagine. She has been so kind, respectful, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and very understanding towards the parents’ need. She has a great passionate for her line of work and she put special attention and care towards every patient regardless of the fact that she has a lot of patients all the time. I highly recommend her for everyone who is looking for a great physical therapy services!! Two thumbs up!!

They have a very neat and clean office, which accommodates families of all sizes without having to compromise on comfort. The staff here are true professionals that will go above and beyond to help you in any possible way they can in a timely manner. Izabella is very attentive and her willingness to help is second to none. Every person employed here deserves a raise for the great work they do, day in day out.

Tony was a very good doctor and very helpful throughout my whole visit.

They told me a tdap vaccine would cost $171 w/o insurance and CVS provides it for $84. They also told me they have an issue with appointments that are made online when I arrived and was not scheduled on their end. The women at the front desk were polite and the waiting room was clean.

Vanessa Lorenzo is super kind and helpful. Shes super nice and always ready to lend a hand. You can count on her to be helpful and friendly whenever you need it.

The care and help I received from Dr.Han was incredible. Im an overweight teen who struggles to lose weight and she helped me find a solution that could and is helping me, which is the Wegovy shots. Overall I’ve had a great experience. The staff is on point and very helpful. Had to bring in my dad for a fracture foot and Tony has helped me a lot with helping my dad getting in and out of the car and assisting us with the wheelchair.

Dr Tran is the best made my referral easier than many other clinics! I been having to transfer from different clinics because the other doctors didn’t take the time to truly understand my heart condition and provide proper care and monitoring. They do care and that makes me feel a lot better about everything 💙

Outstanding staff and doctors who really care judgment free. A couple of months ago I was struggling with diabetes and the amazing staff and doctor Lien PA-C Tran. Who help get my blood sugar and diabetes under control. I highly recommend theyre services. Life changing.

I was sent here for blood work by another office. They messed up by not actually putting in the form for it. But this office made sure to not have that stop me from getting it done that day and as soon as they could. Tony was extra helpful! Thanks man!

This is my second time at this place and certainly my last. I’ve had two terrible experiences so far both involving similar issues…During visit #1: one of the nurses was openly gossiping about my visit to the doctors office to her other colleagues. It was really embarrassing and she was speaking loudly. I was sitting in one of the lab rooms over hearing everything. And to be clear, she was not discussing a medical solution for me with her colleagues, but, yes, gossiping.During visit #2: Dr. Bonnie - the gynecologist- was laughing and openly discussing why I had to pay a visit to the doctor with his colleagues. Once again, I was sitting in one of the rooms, overhearing him make a joke of it all. When he came into the room to finally speak to me (still laughing), I mentioned that I had overheard him discussing my personal medical requests out loud. He seemed offended that I would point that out and it was obvious that he didn’t want to help me anymore. In general, from the conversation I overheard and his treatment towards me - he totally did not have my best interest and was only concerned about the insurance payment.This type of behavior from individuals in the medical field is just.. unprofessional and ghetto! The patients medical information is not a joking matter, a topic to gossip about, and should be treated as classified information. I feel embarrassed and disappointed. I could only hope that this office steps up their standards. They have potential and do have a few lovely staff that do show compassion. However, those lovely staff do not compensate for the others that like to make a joke out of clients. As patients, we deserve better treatment. It’s not a lot to ask for to respect a patient’s privacy.

I’ve been waiting over an hour for a 9:30 appointment with little to no communication about when I will be seen. It’s over-crowded, clearly they are not staffed properly to handle the volume of patients they book. There is really no dedicated parking of any kind, best of luck with that. It’s incredibly unprofessional for a medical office to conduct business in this manner.Complete disregard of proper medicinal practices in a professional setting.

My first 2 visits went smoothly; but they have a different doctor on staff each time. The 3rd time has been a frustrating experience.Went in for a physical and mammogram. The Doctor (female/asian) had terrible bedside manner and pushed their dental program. She was very cold. The nurse was kind and professional. She also had a light hand when drawing blood which I appreciate. The tech who does the mammograms was great as well.All this took place 6/10/22.. it is now 7/07/22 and no results. Ive been in a game of phone tag with them. Apparently they set up phone appointments, but never specified to me that it was a phone appt. I showed up to the office on my appointment date ,I paid a deductible and was simply told They will call you with results... no date, eta, nothing.So basically I was turned away when i arrived at the office on 7/5 only to then see a missed call an hour later. It was implied it was my fault for not being by my phone. They offered to set up another phone appt but not before asking for a payment; a payment I had already made .. they said they would call 7/06. Still nothing.Lessons learn:Save your receiptsAsk if its an IN OFFICE appointment or PHONE appointment.

Hi had a amazing experience today at the doctor office. Starting with the receptionist that took my temperature entering the door to the receptionist that check me in they had really good customer service skills next time i come in for my appointment i will make sure to let the manager know. In the past i had bad experiences with some receptionist which i seen they made good changes very professional. Really recommend this medical office they care for your health.

I had a f/u appt w/my primary care provider to check on a UTI. I got instant results. Lien Tran has been my provider for about 3 yrs and she is very knowledgeable. Office staff was efficient, kind and provided excellent service today.

The girls in the front office gossip about my private information I found out I had chlamydia before the doctor came because they were laughing at me . After waiting 2 hours on a scheduled appointment the walls are very thin and as much as you don’t want to hear conversations in the office or the rooms next door you hear everything loud and clear

Horrible place!First, the girl registering me for the free covid test, she insisted that I had to pay! So I asked one of the other nurses instead, and she said the test are FREE.I was there at 7:45am waiting in my car, the second group of ladies started testing at 9am.They said 48 hours max for result to coming! 2 weeks later I sm still waiting for my results!!! They dont answer phones, but I do keep getting IRRELEVANT text messages from this place.This was a waste of my time.

Nurses are friendly and helpful but They dont have a pediatrician, they take long I had to walk out. The doctor was on the phone while I was waiting in the room They send me to another clinic in El Monte where they have alot of nurses.

Horrible just horrible. I’ve been waiting for almost two weeks for results that usually take 2-4 days anywhere else . I came here because when I was little I use to get vaccinations here for elementary etc . It was nostalgic and nearby the home I grew up in, but BIG MISTAKE. I came here to support even though I now live in San Marino and temporary big bear which is waaay out of the way , only to get the worse treatment . Dr. Taylor prescribed me an otoxic (bactrim) for a flu, I told her I wanted to throw up and had a headache with it and she didn’t care, told me she was the professional not me and to continue taking it . After the second day I stopped, by the third day I had a ringing in my ear as a horrible side effect I went to the emergency room, then had to follow up with an ENT specialist, all on my own time/money due to her careless action. A week and a half later, I still have the ringing, and I complain to them only to let me know they have fired her. I look her up online to find that she moved her practice through 4 states and for some reason changed her name when she came to Ca. Super weird, why would they wait for people to complain/be hurt probably permanently instead of thoroughly interviewing a Doctor before hiring. My ENT diagnosed me with tinnitus due to her medication, & both of my other doctors told me she had no reason prescribing me that for a cold (which is a viral infection not bacterial) so I’m going on my second week with tinnitus hoping it goes away, trying to forget about this place while I’m still dealing with every medical staff here who’s having such a hes time getting my results from two weeks ago. Don’t come here, you’re seriously better off with anywhere but here. The only reason I’m not taking legal action for malpractice is because I have a heart, other than that I would’ve already. Just not worth dealing with them any longer. Oh & if my tinnitus doesn’t go away by this second week, my ENT wants to do an MRI just to make sure no internal damage was done, thanks a lot scmc
