I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Supervisor Jose Fernandez at Sonora Quest for going above and beyond to assist me after hours with my son’s COVID-19 test. I was truly impressed by his determination to help me as quickly as possible, even outside of regular working hours. His dedication, along with the support of the entire staff, made a stressful situation much easier. I can’t thank Jose and the team enough for their excellent service. Great job to everyone involved!

This place is terrible ALL the way around. Zero interpersonal skills from front counter, no communication at check in other than the bare minimum required to speak apparently, HORRIBLE wait times with ZERO heads up on how long the wait would be. Sat for an hour and a half noticed 3 or 4 people who checked in after me got service first. I went to inquire why and was told they had appointments but I had already been sitting here for 45 minutes beforehand... DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE SINCE ITS LIKE EVERYWHERE ELSE TODAY WITH 0 CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. If I could of given zero stars you better believe I would.

Pedantic, absolutely pedantic. I went in today to deliver my specimen and they wanted me to log into the tablet and wait until its my turn to turn in my specimen. I decided to go across the street to the Post Office and mail it in. Your policy to sign into a tablet instead of taking a drop off is completely idiotic. Were not wasting time nor do we work for you. Your policies are not laws and we wont play your stupid games. So now you can wait until the post office delivers the drop off.

Extremely horrible customer service/care at this Maryvale location! The skinny Hispanic phlebotomist should NOT be working with patients at all, nor with newborns. She is rough with newborns, lacks communication, does NOT say when she is done, and lacks motivation. I don’t know where she got her certification/licensing but I hope it gets revoked. Had a horrible experience today 05/29/2024. I will be reporting it to upper management.

Just left a little after 6:25 am, there was one person in front of me. Phlebotomist was nice, kiosk said it was unable to find me even though I made an appointment signed me in and the lady at the desk didn’t even acknowledge me!! Is she like that with everyone or “CERTAIN PEOPLE”

June 2023: Why I went back to this location I have no idea. I called this office prior to arriving to see if I needed to fast before my blood work. The female who answered the phone said no. While checking in at the front desk the female at the front desk said I couldn’t do the blood work because I needed to be fasting prior. So I left without getting my bloodwork done. I talked to my doctor and she said I didn’t need to fast for the blood. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️October 2022: I stood at the front desk for probably 10 minutes. Two employees sat in front of me working on the computer and not once did someone say hello or that they would be with me in one moment. The young generation has no courtesy these days. They grew up with their faces stuck in their phones too busy to learn etiquette. So darkening.

On Maryvale Parkway. Appt was easy to get. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We even forgot our script and I had to run home and get it. They were all good and moved us right along. 6 stars actually

Went to this location this morning and got checked in, completely understand wait times when going to any blood draw facility.I got checked in to do my wellness exam for my company sponsored health insurance,The young girl phlebotomist called me up and said that I needed to call a phone number to get checked in to do my wellness exam, I was in the process of asking a question, could not even get the question out of my mouth before she said to me, you dont understand what Im saying, and she followed it up by whats the problem, horribly rude, this location used to be my go-to for all my blood work. I really do wish I would have gotten her name.

The lady in the front was super rude to my mother and was giving her a hard time. My sister and mother were there to get bloodwork for their hypothyroidism because their doctor requires them to in order to get their pills. We had made two appointments from the same email account because my sister is disabled (Down syndrome) and doesn’t have an email. The lady scolded my mother for doing this saying that we had to make an email for my sister and then make an appointment. My mother asked for them to at least for them to do my sister’s bloodwork. My mother gave the lady my sister’s insurance and then scolded my mother again for not having her updated card. My mother explained that the insurance company hadn’t given her an updated card. Then proceded to watch my mom struggle and see if she had another in her purse. When it was taking too long, she ended up using the card my mom presented. The woman would not let my mother in with my sister even though she is her legal guardian (my sister is unable to do things on her own). We will not be coming to this place again. I recommend others to do the same. If you have an attitude and dislike your job, why are you there taking up space. We have been coming here for a very long time and have had no problems and the women in there were always very nice but I guess not anymore.

The front desk staff was very rude and condescending during check in. When leaving a Urine sample in the little silver box in the wall, there were at least 6 other samples in there just waiting to be collected. They were sitting there over 45 minutes as I was the only one to use the restroom in that amount of time. I wouldve taken a picture but didnt want to violate anyones privacy, I felt there has to be some kind of violation going on here, as names and DOB are printed on the cups. It also made me question how reliable testing would be, anyone couldve tampered with these specimens. Upon leaving around 3pm, some of the front desk staff were joking around, on a phone call with their friend, on speaker talking about tattoos, cussing and using other language not suitable for a business. Their behavior, work ethic and professionalism were 100% inappropriate. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

First Time Great ExperienceI didnt make an appointment and I usually do for such things. They open at 7:30am I was there a little after 7am and was the fourth person in line,very clean and organized. The young lady who took my blood very professional and got it in one poke 😁 Much better than other labs Ive been to

This is message is regarding Moiya K. review. It is not the fault of Sonora Quest that you had to wait 45 minutes before they told you that they do not take your insurance. Do you know how long it takes for them to verify your insurance with your insurance company. The insurance companies put you on hold for the longest time. You should of checked with your insurance company or your doctor who ordered your labs before going there. At least they told you that they didnt take your insurance, otherwise they could of done the labs, then charged you, so they did you a favor. Always check with your insurance company before going to any doctors or having procedures done before going.

I walked in for two tests for my five year old daughter and the woman behind he counter started asking me questions. I hadnt been made aware that my daughter needed to fast for one of her tests by her doctor, so I said okay Ill come back for that test another day. She then just sat there and stared at me. She finally handed me information on the second test and continued to stare at me. I said should I sit down? She said well you said you were coming back another day. I said yes for that test and she continued to stare at me. Im like, are you gonna talk?? And she just looked at another lady behind the counter like I was crazy and smirked. My daughter is in pain and has been in pain and the staff here were extremely unprofessional and basically forced me to leave by not providing care. Absolutely do not go to this place. Im taking her to another location today. Hopefully they can get her testing done without issue.

Had an 8am appointment, got there 5 minutes early. Still waited 40+ mins past my appointment. Either having an appointment gives you no advantage or they were so backed up by 8am from their scheduled patients that I got bumped. Regardless, very frustrating.

I waited there for an hour to get blood drawn, they mispronounced my first name which is “Simone” NOT “Simon” and then the phlebotomist apparently mixed up the orders for my blood work! Because when I returned to my doctor they said they never received the labs!!! This is ridiculous, I trained as a phlebotomist but since I don’t speak Spanish they don’t want to hiring me when I’m qualified!! If I could give this place zero stars, I would!!!

I went to Sonora Quest earlier this week and encountered the front desk receptionist Mayra. She was extremely professional and apologized for any inconvenience in wait times. I give her 5 stars for being both pleasant and professional.The only reason I am giving this facility 4 stars is because the children in this place were out of control. There needs to be a sign and it needs to be ENFORCED that children are not allowed to run around and disturb other patients. I even saw a small child sticking his face under the laser lights attached at the bottom of the self check in kiosks. He could literally go blind. Obviously that would be the parents fault if the child gets injured. However, seeing this child put himself in harms way and seeing his siblings literally drag him all over the floor is unacceptable in any facility much less a medical facility.

Horrible!! I got here at 8:15 to get some labs done and yes I was expecting to wait but its 9:15 and I havent been seen yet!! Evertime they take some one to the back that person comes out in less then 5 min!! That doesnt make sense if it only takes less then a few min for the labs then why are we waiting more than an hr to be seen!! If you schedule an appointment your going to wait as well Ive talked to a few people and they complained they had to wait also!! Just horrible!

Just got done with my blood draw. Whitney is amazing she is so kind and quick. I have anxiety about blood draws as I have been told I am a hard stick but this morning she found the best vein! And no pain at all!I will be requesting her by name. She is your rockstar Sonora!

Had an appointment and still sitting in the waiting room 30 minutes passed my appointment time. Didn’t even call me up for my paperwork I had to get up and ask him if he needed it. Why make an appointment if the walk ins are getting called before you. Shame, shame on you. Sorry not sorry !

Worst Sonora Quest- I came on Friday July 25th around 11am. There was 5 person ahead of me. Im still here and its 1:21pm. Went to ask how much longer it was going to take and found the nurses having fun talking to each other in the back. Im a caregiver and go to different sonora quest approximately 2x a month. This is the worst one. It will be faster to drive to another one than waiting in this one.

I went in today and I did not stayed to get labs done due to lab been super hot and I really believe clinics have to be cold to prevent more virus and bacterias.This is also abuses to patients that have to wait there for long periods of time while this is already uncomfortable this times to be around a lot of people plus AC down or OFF because that is how it felt like AC was OFF. I think supervisors and management should take a look and investigate deeper about this issue.Hope someone looks at this AC issue if you guys want to have business.

This place is horrible. I came with my two-month-old baby for some tests and the wait was horrible. There is no one at the reception who can give you information. I dont come to this laboratory anymore. Save your time and go further.
