Nicholas was an amazing amazing nurse practitioner! I was extremely nervous about the whole IUD process and insertion but I was made to feel so comfortable and safe the entire time. I felt really well taken care of. I had a wonderful experience even through all the nerves and would definitely recommend this clinic!

Health Care Assistant, Arnetta, and Nurse Practitioner, Nick, both made my visit for an IUD removal as pleasant as it could be. Both showed kindness and compassion during our interactions.I’m grateful for how quickly and easily I was able to schedule this appointment. The intake and discharge processes were also seamless. Thank you for being a safe place for your patients in the valley.

I couldnt be more grateful to Nick and everyone at this location. I had been having complications with my IUD for a while but the last couple of weeks, it was becoming unbearable. My primary care couldnt get me in for months, same for my OB. I couldnt keep this up through the summer and was practically in tears.I was able to get an appointment to have it removed within a week. They made it go so smooth and gentle. They are so kind and compassionate about it too.Ive been lined up with a new BC that Ive had a good history with. They answered all of my questions calmly and gently without making me feel silly.Dont let political drama scare you away from this place, especially when your doctors dont have time for you. These people will make time for you and thats a gift of its own.

Got my Vasectomy done at this location. It was honestly such a great experience, I cant be more happy about it. The doctor and nurse was so informative and nice. Everything went so smoothly and the procedure itself is so easy. I probably spent more time in the waiting room than the actual procedure! It only took around 30 minutes. I only had a single day of discomfort, and that was the day of the procedure. Im already feeling 100% on the 2nd day. I should have done this a long time ago. Planned Parenthood really came through for me, and I completely and fully recommend this place to get this procedure done!

Worst place! I went to get my Depo shot about 3 weeks ago as I always get in every 3 months. Well waiting for the nurse to come in to give it to me, the nurse came in and stated I was pregnant. I informed her there was no way for me to be pregnant at the moment, she continued to state that it could be cancer or a tumor and should go to my primary care! I was so shocked and scared as I was sure I WAS NOT Pregnant SO THOUGHT I PROBABLY HAD SOMETHING SERIOUS GOING ON. I went to my primary care the next day they ran blood test and other test as well. I was negative for pregnancy and any other conditions. I went back to inform them that they had made a mistake and they just ignored me and stated they dont make mistakes. I feel like I should leave this review as for theres maybe a girl out there that is pregnant and on the shot as well as to be aware. I did go ahead and let the state medical board this information. the Manager and nurse Elizabeth were the ones assisting me.

I had an excellent experience. My provider was Nicholas. Everyone from the staff at the desk, the tech who brought me to the room, to the NP was kind and helpful. I felt like all my questions were answered and they actually cared.I recommend Planned Parenthood and I also recommend Paragard!

Ashley and Nick were both very kind and helpful. The front desk was friendly. Only complaint is the wait in the lobby was pretty long, but thats fairly normal with HCPs now.

Nurse practitioner Jessica Contreras was an absolute delight. She was informative and patient with all my questions. The front desk was also so sweet. They seem ready for help with literally anything birth control related right there on the spot. Felt very comfortable and would 10/10 recommend!

I went in to get checked out and Lupita was such a kind person to me. She made me feel super comfortable with everything and gave me so much information. Thank you Lupita! Overall the experience with the provider as well that helped was really informational and felt super comfortable. Thank you again!

I am not one to write Google reviews but I have to recognize the amazing staff that work at this location. They are the kindest, most compassionate providers I have ever seen and I am so grateful they they were able to see and help me in a timely manner. From the NP who saw me to the staff who checked me in THANK YOU!! You all deserve raises.

My appointment online was messed up. When I got there the young lady at front desk with her drawn on eyebrows (only way I can identify her) was very rude and continued to be very rude to the other 2 people after me. My daughter whose appointment is was had a good time in back. I truly recommend training on customer service for the young lady. The front desk of an office is the first impression. You shouldnt have someone that huffs because they have to do their job.

This location was really great, the staff from the moment I walked in was very friendly and were willing to answer any question I had, I would like to give a huge shout out to Nurse Practitioners Nicholas, I was very nervous not knowing what to expect while getting my iud removed, but he made sure I was comfortable & safe during the procedure. I was really grateful and happy about the experience I had at this facility thank you

I really enjoyed my experience. This is my 3rd planned parenthood location because the others in the valley weren’t the best. I loved Jessica, Arnetta, and Lisette. Each person helped me feel more comfortable. As a masters student I was glad to participate in the research study. Very blessed to have experienced each of these women. Stay blessed ladies! They deserve their flowers 💐

Ciandra was super sweet in explaining the different birth control options and what would work best with me.Jessica, took my old nexaplon out and inserted my new one, was super patient with me and made the whole process amazing. As well as going over different birth controls again before I decided to redo my implant. She was really gentle with everything from the numbing to inserting. Her student Caroline, helped hold my hand and comfort me through my needle fear. Whole team was amazing.

Arnetta the assistant was so nice and professional in asking what have to be difficult questions to any patient. Jessica the nurse practitioner was amazing in walking me through everything that was happening and answering any questions I might have. Also making me feel very comfortable. Great experience today and makes me feel good knowing my health is in good hands.

Jessica and Lupita were absolutely amazing! I have a very hard time with bloodwork, and they made the entire experience as good as they possibly could ♥️

This is the best PP here in Arizona. Jessica (healthcare assistant)was very nice and made me comfortable at all times. She was very kind and thoughtful to listen to my questions. Nick (nurse practitioner) was the best! He was very gentle and made me feel comfortable at all times. I can see that he is very knowledgeable and skilled in women’s health. The facility itself is very clean and well maintained. The staff overall were pleasant and welcoming unlike the other facility I went to. I highly recommend this facility.

I was able to get a same-day appointment and from the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel very comfortable, cared for, and safe. They made me feel like I could ask any questions I had and encouraged to do so. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone without hesitation. Also very clean!

I have been going here for the past three years. I trust this health facility and the staff is very polite and helpful. I wanted to find a place that cares about their patients and this is the place that fulfills that. This facility is clean and well kept. Receptionists Jessica and Katrina are very kind and polite. Had a lovely appointment at PP phoenix today :) jessica d got me settled in the exam room and took my blood, and her personable demeanor kept me relaxed and in a good mood. jessica c came in to go over my history and any concerns about my HRT, and she made it quick and easy while still being professional and thorough. i have so much appreciation and gratitude for all the folks at PP who have made it possible for me to thrive!

I went here instead of returning to the Glendale PP due to location. Appointment was made online, and I was able to schedule 2 weeks out. I was incredibly nervous due to receiving a male NP and of course, potential low-life protestors.1. No protestors. Thank goodness.2. Nick, NP is AMAZING.Im so disappointed in myself for the pre-judgement. From reception, to the nurse, to Nick, my experience was lovely and comfortable. I arrived super early to my appointment (it was 4:25pm for a 5pm appointment), I went in right at 5pm. I was able to vouche for myself, my concerns, and not once was I judged or rushed. I received a bunch of information for my next plan of care and recommendations on where I should go too. Im so thankful for people who love what they do and are great at it. Ive received horrific care from where Im originally from in Pennsylvania and in Northern AZ, so this has been such a great change. I definitely recommend this PP and will definitely go back!

Jessica, Mary Anne, and Ciandra we’re all amazing! Yes there was a wait but it’s 1) a doctors office so there’s always a wait but 2) a severely underfunded and often mistreated doctors office so staffing I imagine is a pain. I’d 100% rather wait a bit in a lobby and get care without being judge than go to a “regular” doctors office and feel like I couldn’t be honest due to judgment or personal safety.

Doctor refused to see me because I have a UTI. In my 25 years of using this companies service I have never been turned away for a UTI. That’s not what my appointment is for.Update: so I was the one that wanted to leave my appointment and cancel my appointment the aide said she was going to talk to the doctor. The office manager came in and I told her I was leaving because this isn’t what my appointment was for. I open the door and security is there. I’m black btw so I’m called for never go to this place!

I have been going to Planned Parenthood for several years now, and have been to 3 different locations (this one being my 3rd, also my first time here). At this point I just feel like the experience is a hit or miss depending on the day. My visit was definitely a hit as I was in and out in just an hour for my STI treatment. The gentleman who checked me in, I believe his name was Rick, was so nice and helpful. Samantha (I think she was a nurse) was very easy to talk to and super nice as well. The doctor was by far my favorite Ive had, she made the environment comfortable and listened to all my concerns. She was also super chill and funny which I loved, I wish there were more doctors like her. I believe her name was Deanna!

This place was very unprofessional and very bad, I got the arm implant out, and I felt every second of it, they didn’t numb me enough, they use lidocaine, and I was screaming in pain because I could feel every second of them taking the implant out and all the guy dr told me was “it’s almost out”

I’ve been to 2 locations and this one has to be my favorite hands down. I feel very safe and understood. Everyone here is friendly. But- special shout-out to: Ciandra, Dr.Nicholas, Lupita & Mary Ann. Amazing team!

The wait time at this location needs major assistance but I understand there are many factors that play a part in that. My appt was at 10:40 and I didnt get out there until well after 1p.I would give them 5 stars in regards to the rest of my experience. This location has always been attentive to my needs the rare times I decide to go there. Today, I had the sweetest doctor assistant (she was extremely thorough and relatable, you know who you are). Then I had Clay (NP, I believe) had EXCELLENT bedside manners, took his time listening to my concerns and went above and beyond to take care of me today!I truly thank the both of you (and I cant forget about the nice gentleman who checked me in) from the bottom of my heart! Id return and encourage anyone to go there (if you have the time to wait), their customer service skills were outstanding during my entire visit! 😊

Everyone that was apart of the staff was really friendly and considerate! Vanessa and Jennifer were two of the ladies that were helping me throughout my visit. Planned parenthood took my insurance no problem. It was a very seamless and organized experience. If im going to planned parenthood again in Phoenix its this location for sure! :)

I can’t tell you enough good things about this clinic. I went in to get my nexplanon birth control removed and re inserted and I was very nervous. However, the doctors assistant (who’s name I unfortunately do not remember) made the experience so much better. She was so easy to talk to, understanding, and knowledgeable. She sat with me during the procedure and it truly felt as if I had a friend there with me. 10/10 recommend this planned parenthood- their staff is excellent.

Do not go to this location. First I attempted to make an online appointment but it wasn’t available for an extended period of time. Then i called to make an appointment and sat on hold for 45 minutes. Then after a week i went back and made an appointment online. The first available appointment was 3 weeks away so I booked it. In the mean time, i’ve been receiving confirmation texts that my appointment was coming up (3 in total). I get there and the front desk tells me that online bookings actually don’t work and even though they are aware of this issue and this commonly happens, there’s nothing they can do. Turned away after waiting 3 weeks for an exam. I’m so upset.

Love this place and Dr. Contreras. Super knowledgeable, very compassionate, always provides excellent gender affirming care. I’m never waiting very long and everyone is super kind when I have questions or don’t know exactly how to navigate the healthcare process like insurance and making appointments etc.

Had a scheduled appointment and when I took my fiancé there the place was empty. There were 3 other patients waiting in for someone to check them in. After waiting for about 10 minutes someone finally came to the waiting room and said that they are closed until 1pm due to technical difficulties and that we should call and reschedule. We were told that we were called in advance but they did not call us to inform us that they were having “technical difficulties” and that we would need to reschedule. The other patients who were waiting also did not receive a call.

Rude and unprofessional staff, they also ask for you to pay before going back to the rooms. Appointed was at 3pm and by 4:30pm only my vitals had been taken. Doctor came in and spent less than 10 minutes total talking to me. Left planned parenthood crying because I had never had such a bad experience as this before. I will no longer be a supporter after this.

Wonderful experience! I went for a routine visit and Nick was great and answered all of my questions.

I had to get some blood work done today (which I always struggle with) and Lupita was just the best! So patient and kind. The entire staff was awesome :)

Very slow. Went in at 1:19 for my 1:40 appointment, and didnt get called back until 2:45. I had plans at 3:30 so I had to leave at 3:03 before getting what I came to get done. Try a different location if possible. Staff qas nice enough

If you have a hard time making an appt online or via phone, just go to the office. If they cant get you in right away, they will schedule your appt. I got in quickly, was seen by an AMAZING Dr named Kendal and the entire staff was very friendly! I ended up just needing an antibiotic which I was able to get right from them at the time of the appt. I am SO THANKFUL for the staff and Dr. You guys were all so wonderful ❤️

Waited a long time for a walk-in pregnancy test, because of a late period. The front desk lady kept asking if I am sure I need to be tested, gave me a hard time just to get seen. I would not be at planned parenthood, if I did not need the resources they provided. All pregnancy tests are different anyways. Some are easy to read and some are not, others are free and others are not. The front desk lady had a bad attitude. Horrible customer service for going somewhere where my health is concerned. Also, the bathroom is unsanitary, where they were multiple urine samples overlapping. 4 samples in a tiny steel window overlapping! After waiting for about an hour and half, maybe a little over, the nurse practitioner came. She just read my results to me and did not really seem to provide me with any other information other than that. I really had to dig and ask the questions to help myself find answers. Not the friendliest place to go to if your anxious about your health. I recommend going to your regular doctor or another Planned Parenthood facility where there are staff who apply customer service and perhaps more educated about the company’s services.

Absolutely waste of time. Dont even bother with this location the mesa location is good or other ones. Every time I attempt using this location its either rescheduled or I dont get what is NEEDED. It shouldnt be so hard to get simple requests fulfilled. Also- the provider is an NP when Ive tried to go; not an actual physician. Dont even bother trying.

Nick is an absolutely wonderful doctor and I am very grateful for him.

Whatever your appointment time is, add at least 30 minutes to an hour to that. If you have other things to do in the day keep that in mind. Luckily the few times I have come here I didn’t have anything to rush to afterwards but I’m falling asleep in the waiting room. Office needs to not schedule as many patients at once or needs to get another NP.

I made an appointment for 2:50 and at 4:30 I was still waiting to speak with the doctor. I ended up missing an appointment for something else I had scheduled at a different place at 5:30, thinking I would have plenty of time. Wrong! All this just for a renewal of the same birth control Ive been taking for a year. Ridiculous. Whats the point of having appointments if it takes such a long amount of time? I would recommend going elsewhere.

I have never been stabbed by a needle so bad. Never experienced my hip ache this much from a Deppo shot. They are definitely not gentle here... even after I mentioned I have a fear of needles. Don’t recommend this location. As well as I waited an hour past my appointment to be seen.

The nurses and doctor were pleasant and helpful, but for some reason Rick, the manager, didn’t know how much to charge for a Pap smear 🤨 and ended up charging me more at the end of the visit because he was “unsure of the total amount.” How can you be in charge of billing and be unsure about payment? Disconcerting to say the least.

Everyone here was super compassionate, recently went through trauma and the techs and providers were very patient and kind, they made me feel safe even though I was very nervous.

If you are coming in seeking a removal of a IUD please go somewhere else! The staff are amazing! What they don’t tell you is if they can’t take the IUD out then they refer you to someone else and you lose your co-pay or whatever amount you paid upfront! I can’t believe I lost $150.00! I literally paid them to just weight me and tell me they can’t do it. So now, I have to go to a OBGYN and pay another $150, and my insurance is getting billed twice for the same service! Even through they didn’t do a service at all! I was a activist supporter of PPP, but not anymore. I’ll be utilizing a OBYN for all my needs going forward. I encourage women to not waste their hard earned money on this joke of a practice/service.

Samantha and Kendall were both awesome when I went in for my women’s exam! Both professional, kind, empathetic with a calming nature. I’ll be back if needs arise again for me. Thank you!

DO NOT GO HERE, I’ve reviewed them already and somehow the review is not on here anymore!They are a scam, and will have you provide insurance and then charge you for Services, and then bill you for more money.Listen there are other clinics that you can go to that aren’t going to charge you for everything little thing.Only a few people are cool, the rest aren’t.

Very rude and unprofessional staff. They legitimately make me uncomfortable to go here. At the end of my bad experience that i wont go into depth about, i went to pay in cash and was told they didnt have change to give back to me? One of the workers luckily had change to give me from her own purse. Thats the most asinine thing for a place of business to not have proper change to give back? It really shows how unprofessional this place is.

I had a great clinician, super friendly and answered all of my questions. Wait time was usual for any physicians office.

My wait was more than twice as long as my entire visit. From weigh-in to out the door, less than 10 minutes. Cant believe I paid for them to give me generic packets of information, none of which helped with what I needed.

Expect to spend a lot of time here. I had an appt I arrived 5 mins early for. I was told my wait would be at least 1 1/2 hrs. I doubt I wouldve been seen in that time with the amount of people already there waiting. Whats the point of an appt? Ill take my business elsewhere.

Very disappointed. Practitioner did not want to do an exam. They only wanted to dispense BCPs. Had other issues to discuus but they didnt want to address them. Not interested in womens health.
