Horrible. Not worth a single star. Im a medicare patient. They stuck with a Bill for a Non-Medicare covered post op boot. The treating physician told me if I returned the shoe to Christiana Urgent Care in less than two weeks I would NOT BE BILLED. I returned a week later to return the shoe in perfect condition, and they told me their policy had changed in LESS THAN A WEEK, and they would not allow me to return the shoe. Even though at the time I was treated, I had been told by several employees that returning the shoe within two weeks would cancel billing.THEY NEVER EXPLAINED TO ME THAT MEDICARE DOES NOT COVER THIS ITEM THAT WAS PRESCRIBED TO ME. They NEVER offered to CODE this item so at the very least I could try to bill my secondary insurance.This is horrible behavior. They Just Could Care Less. Dont let this happen to YOU. Avoid Care at Christianna Urgent at all Costs.The Billing for this GOES DIRECTLY TO A COLLECTION AGENCY! Hospital Billing wont even talk to you about this Bill. This is Totally Unethical and should be investigated by a regulatory agency as a deceptive business practice.

Made an appointment with ChristianaCare-GoHealth through their website last night around 5. I filled out all my necessary paperwork so I was ready to go when I got there. I was the only patient in the building, the MA took my vitals and recorded my symptoms which were- extreme fatigue, headache, body aches, cough and fever. I also shared that I had a negative Covid and flu test but wasn’t sure if Walgreens went deep enough for correct results. The PA came in and spent maybe 5 minutes in the room with me (if that) and told me I had an ear infection, gave me an antibiotic and sent me on my way. Unhappy with that answer- I made an appointment with my primary care Dr. today who looked in my ears and said you don’t have an ear infection- she misdiagnosed you & advised me not to go back to that location. I know people are human and make errors but I feel as though she just wanted to get me in and out as fast as possible and did not do a through check. So I wasted money & time going to my appointment and getting my meds.

My visit was horrible, I was there due a pull muscle in my neck, I arrived at 11:30pm I didnt get to see a doctor until 4:49 am just to tell to use t he muscle relaxer medicine subscribed by urgent care. I also noticed how dirty the room where, the floors filthy.

Horrible service brought my husband in after a discogram for a CT been here since 12 noon it is now 2:15 we still sitting in The waiting area they are saying there is a discrepancy with how the doctor office order the scan . My husband literally falling asleep on my lap . Patients come and go and we just sit here meanwhile my husband heavily sedated falling asleep on my lap in waiting area

Very happy with my visit. I was seen right away and the doctor gave me alot of her time without feeling rushed once. She definitely cares alot about her job and wanted to make sure all my questions were answered.

There are a lot of urgent cares close to me in New Castle County but I prefer this one. Waiting area is comfortable and staff are professional and courteous. I was tested accurately, consulted with a wonderful nurse practitioner and given good advice regarding my health. Hope I won’t be back anytime soon but if I need urgent care this is where I’ll go.

Everyone I encountered was polite and professional. Dr James was great! She was able to help me get in to see a surgeon about my issue and I was able to get the treatment I needed.

I was a walk-in for severe lower left back pain. I was asked to leave a urine sample, which I was unable to give even after drinking a liter of water. I was left in a room for 11/2 hrs in a freezing room. NP stated that I must be really dehydrated and sent me home with a cup. I returned several hours later and was told that I could pick up my prescription from my pharmacy. The pharmacy never received the prescription. I to call the next morning and the prescription was finally called in. I had to wait 11/2 days to begin my medication for a UTI. They never gave me a discharge summary. It was the worst urgent care I have ever received.

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I am feeling better as a result of following the doctor instruction. In addition, the office was clean, neat, and well kept.

Front Desk was professional and helpful. Physicians Assistant who saw me was very thorough and helpful. I feel like I got good care and advice.

I arrived after two weeks of discomfort in and around my Achilles tendon. PA Timothy did an excellent job leading me through my symptomology to arrive at a logical diagnosis and prescribe an appropriate course of treatment. People are great, costs are competitive. Ill definitely use them again.

The wait time was minimal and the check in staff were so helpful.The PA and aide were professional and through. I felt that I was given excellent care. This is the best urgent care Ive been to in my area.

I came into the urgent care having trouble breathing. The nurses and PA were fantastic. They took me back to a room immediately and hooked me up to oxygen. I was referred immediately to the ER and the urgent care staff notified the ER I was on my way which made things easier and quicker.

I was able to walk in at my convenience and without an appointment and still be seen. The office was clean and organized and operated efficiently and effectively.

I had a virtual appointment the night before and unfortunately nothing was done for help so I was asked to visit the office the next day. I went to this place on yesterday for swollen tonsils and aching pain all over and all they did was a strep test. No vitals taken or examination otherwise and I was sent home with no antibiotics. I feel like I was stolen from. My tonsils had white stuff on them and I had cluster sinus aches before so I know it was an infection. Still in pain. Lidocaine is not the proper treatment for this.

The staff was very friendly, they took care of me very quickly the wait was very short. They gave me snacks and a drink too. I would definitely go back to that facility.

No appointment. Walked in, checked in, and was seen immediately. Doctor was quick and knowledgeable. She prescribed a medication that worked in 36 hours.

Elaine and Koshay were both very cordial and thorough. Matthew was very cordial and helpful- he walked me all the way out to my car and made sure I was safe and didnt fall. I walk with a cane and my car was quite a distance away and escorted me the whole way and let me take my time. He was very pleasant.

I have visited Go Health a couple, times in the last year. Both times the wait was short, much better than other urgent care facilities. The staff are capable and caring. I have others closer to where I live, but prefer the high level of service and competent people of Go Health.

We went on Memorial Day and we were in and out within an hour! Dr. John was personable and professional! We won’t hesitate to return if it’s a weekend or holiday!!

My transfer from the Medical Aid Unit in Newark to the Wilmington ER was unhelpful and the wait time in the ER was very long >3hr before I decided to leave and schedule an appointment with my own opthalmologist for the next day. The information told to me was incorrect and wasted my time as I was told I would be seen by an opthalmologist in the Wilmington ER but nobody was available except an oncall Wills Eye resident if referred by the ER staff. Neither the Medical Aid Unit nor Wilmington ER had the staff or equipment to evaluate my eye injury.

Was in and out in under 45 min. Everyone was incredibly kind and caring! Very impressed and would highly recommend.

There was a short wait as I was a walk in (injury). Everyone was so great though. If I ever need Urgent Care in the future I will 100% be returning here!

I have had to visit Christiana Care Urgent Care twice now, for two different reasons. I checked in and got my appointment time at home and the process was a breeze. When I arrived at my appointed time, there were only a couple of people in the waiting room and I didn’t have to wait at all. Matthew took me back and took my vitals. He is so good at his job, making me feel better, when I was feeling so sick. The Physicians Assistant then came in and was equally as sweet, and told me right away what was wrong, and told me she was going to prescribe meds and call them into my pharmacy. From the time I walked in until I left must’ve been no more than a half hour. Christiana Care Urgent Care is totally squared away, with very nice people running it. I’m so grateful to them for making my visit pleasurable.

The clinic was clean. The staff was friendly and cordial. Medical staff were professional and asked questions and listened to my response.

Went here because I could not get into with my primary care before I even payed I was asked to go to the ER. Certain things I understand where the is required however I feel like that’s why the ER is always packed because nobody else wants to deal with the patient. Apparently I was having a diverticulitis flare up which I understand can be dangerous however when I openly said I would not go to the ER I wasn’t offered any type of warnings as to when it is an emergent situation I had no fever no blood in still no nausea or vomiting but yet was just told over 3 times to go to ER because they couldn’t do anything for me needless to say I got better advise from google than the Np that I saw. 140 dollars down the drain and another 2k had I gone to the ER.

Thank you to the physician who told me my sore throat was just allergies, and would resolve in 10-14 days. 3 weeks later, my tonsils are huge and bloody and another urgent care has diagnosed me with strep. I truly believe that even though my first strep test was negative, that he should’ve given me general antibiotics just in case.

A number one care. I couldnt believe it actually! They listened cared, diagnosed me and immediately got my meds to my pharmacy. I will never go anywhere else. I was lucky that day for that level of care. Many thanks.

Easy to get an appointment. Did not have to wait long to be seen. Nurse Practitioner was very nice.

No appointment necessary right now. I went in and signed it and the receptionist took information. Sat down for a couple minutes and they took me right in. Dr. Came in and examined my foot. Then got X-rays which showed no broken bones. Dr. Called in an antibiotic just in case my toe was infected. I was impressed that they were very thorough and I was only there a short time. I would recommend them to anyone.

This is the best urgent care in New Castle County! I have a fear of doctors and a fear of going to urgent cares, hospitals, and doctors office. I was very anxious when I went in but I had tooth pain that was excruciating.. they took great care of me and this is the only place I will be going if I need care!

**No Rapid testing at this site** Check in and triage were good and nice. Doctor never identified himself, but referred to phone? Doctor is a book of knowledge, just doesn’t communicate well. I found it very hard to get answers to questions. Further my prescription was sent clear across the state. Unable to pick it up until Monday.

It was easy to walk into urgent care and sign in the gentleman was very kind.

I love having the option to check in online, attentiveness of support staff and providers and how at ease the staff and providers make the patient feel. Everyone was professional and took time to hear my concerns. I had two visits over the holiday weekend and was in and out quickly without feeling rushed.

Dr. Daniel Burke is the best! Very kind and caring! Really listens to what you have to say and does not rush you! So glad I have him as my primary! Only hear wonderful things about him from other patients of his too!!

Went to this urgent care for stitches. I was seen quickly. The provider was skilled in completing the stitches, but more importantly she went above and beyond to keep me calm and comfortable throughout the process. I was grateful for the care I received.

Had great service on December third. After having horrible service at the on Songsmith road in Bear. Called today Johnathan picked up. I explained why I was calling. He proceeded to tell me that he could not give me my husbands information. I again explained that we are still waiting on my husbands COVID test results and the we took a home test Mon and he is positive. This ignorant man, kept talking over me. He began fast talking me. I asked for supervisor he claims no one available and no number to reach one at. Again, Christiana Care needs to have better customer service. The hospital is the worst and they really dont care of u die. Have seen it time and time again.If u all are so unhappy, change your profession..tired of hearing how short staffed I are..i see why.

Christiana care has declined in services for their patients. It is very disappointing. I informed them that I am well aware of my body and do not just spend 140.00 to go to the doctor to be told by a nurse that I do not need antibiotic when I did inform her that I knew I should be placed on one right away because my symptoms would become worse over the holidays. My family member had to step in and advocate on my behalf again stressing to them that I need an antibiotic and yet the nurse refused despite seeing my throat was severely raw and I was coughing up green phelm. Needless to say over the New Years Eve and New Years Day I progressively became more ill and vomiting and other symptoms occurred. My family member was furious because she had stated to the Nurse ...So, We wont be coming back on Tuesday because he becomes worse from this? PLEASE WRITE THIS IN YOUR NOTE THAT YOU DENIED HIM AN ANTIBIOTIC. SHE SAID SHE WOULD. WELL, I had to call off today and miss a day of pay due to illness and then was informed by Med Express that my throat was so badly looking and my congestion was terrible that they dont understand why this Nurse did not prescribe an antibiotic. Next time listen to the patient....people dont want to be sick and visit a doctor on a holiday weekend.

This is the second time I have gone here and they have messed up a script order to the point where my prescription is delayed for days! Ill have to go elsewhere if a medication needs to be ordered, because they mess this up 100% of the time in my experience.

I got turn away because I didnt have my insurance card was told to come back when I had it, I mean I just tell my illness to wait for the insurance cause we havent recived it in the mail yet. Front desk was profesional told me Im with a agreement through my insurance they cant take self pay because it goes against that agreement. Im writing this review just to save you time because if you dont have your insurance card and you got no way to look for the information to provide to the office make sure you call the office first so you dont get turned away just like I did. Thankfully I was able to find a same day sick appt with my PCP after living the office disappointed and in pain.

On Thursday, July 13 I went to urgent care because I had tripped in the front yard over the sidewalk.When we walked inside urgent care we were greeted by Amir, he asked what he could do for me I told him what happened and he says well you know my shift is almost over but I’m going to take you as my last patient. He was very very nice to us he was thoughtful, he asked us what happened. He treated my husband and I as if we were family.A nurse came in first, her name is Jakeyia. She got all my informationAfter a little while he x-rayed my elbow and he treated me very nicely as if I was his sister.We waited for I think his name was Dr. John and another nurse they came into an examining room and he said everything was OK. I had 4 people who helped check me out and each one was just as pleasant and treated me great.I will definitely go back there again if I need to.

I went there yesterday to be seeni was in pain all my body is hurting after the impact of the fall ,the nurse practitioner saw me but while I was explaining what happened to me the whole time she was just looking at her watch as if she needs to be out of there,talking and looking at the watch ls like hurry up I have to go. I ask her about X-rays they didnt have a tech why give me an appointment there and there was no tech for X-rays .I already saidwhile making appointment for injury to be seen. While I was in bathroom she was recording on a mall recorder wlike the details of what happening I can hear everything n I came out sitted in the roomi left the door open I can hear her saying negative things Abt wat happen . Then one of the male nurse came n close the door., coz they knew I was listening. Then she came in like its too many X-rays we cant do too many X-rays I will just do ur leg n ur lower back.. for heave sake my whole body is in pain. Are u even listening to what am saying ? Just looking at ur watching every 2 mins.She send me to one of the sisters pike ceek urgent care to do the X-rays. I dont know wat she wrote in the computer the medical assistant was looking me as if am crazy. And rolling her eyes..I went to do the X-rays when I came out of the door my oldest daughter was explaining that they were talking about me . Where s that patient privacy? Dont you see my daughter was there? And the medical assistant was rolling her eyes.,again while I was leaving.whats that supposed to mean?its means something. That been ignorant if she was in my place could she have done that ..? I left and forgot my papewhich put some information inr. I sent my daughter back n said they gave it to me but tla didnt have it.,while I went to xray I insisted to give it to me back she said she will but never did and they threw it away. . My daughter come back the minute I want to walk in there there are rushing closing the doors no one to be seen. I dont recommend to go there anymore.

The male nurse (sorry I forgot his name, I was in alot of pain) was absolutely amazing, thoughtful and most important caring! He was a younger black gentleman and even under alot of work and pressure he was beyond awesome. If he is like that daily and stays like that he is going to be great and has a wonderful future coming to him. The Doctor was great too! Very caring and willing to listen! She seemed to really care and was very aware that there is a problem with my health regardless of what the ENT doctor said. It seems like there is to much ego issues with doctors instead of caring for the patient. But here it seemed like my problems that brought me in had concern over everything.

Great experience! Appointment easy to secure; check-in quick; staff is pleasant and professional; my provider, a Nurse Practitioner, was knowledgeable and thorough. I will not hesitate to use Christiana Care’s Urgent Care next time I need medical treatment.

Unfortunately, I have been to this facility 3x in the last 2.5 months d/t when it rains, it pours syndrome lol, but every time I have a good experience! Amir is hands down one of the BEST employees here, right along with the female provider. Both were very patient with me trying to get all my tests done and compromising with me on what all could be done. They had a bit of a malfunction when I first arrived with the internet and their program crashing, but i was still in and out in less than an hour. The staff altogether was very kind, helpful, attentive, & very knowledgeable. I highly suggest especially if you have kids!

Total time was 25 minutes. I could schedule a time that works best for me. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The tech was professional and especially the PA J Oge, May God take you further in life. My Husband was very pleased with him and myself too. Its a huge relief when youre in pain but you have professional people who a knowledgeable and empathetic. I was in a lot of pain when I came in and I have felt better ever since then from the pain of the abscess for which I came in for.

I visited two days in a row and both times the wait was short and the staff was warm and helpful. We were visiting from out of state and I was given clear helpful instructions on the first day which led to a successful procedure on the second day. Everyone was warm and compassionate. Both doctors were well informed, gave me excellent guidance and patiently answered my husband’s many questions with no sense that they were rushed. The medical assistants were well-informed, skillful and friendly. I highly recommend Christiana Urgent Care.

The lady at the desk was super nice as well as my doctor, Penny ( or possibly Jenny). I was in and out in less than 15 minutes with a prescription for my issue. 10x better than any other urgent cares that Ive been to in the area.

The front desk lady had to be the the only good thing I have to say. The older Asian doctor was terrible seem as if he didn’t want to bother . Didn’t explain anything and pretended to not understand as I expressed my issue was suggested to see a dermatologist but had no suggestion of ones in the area. wasted copay !

Review for May 27, 2023 5:00 PM visit at Hygeia Dr. Newark, DE. The receptionist had a very positive attitude and so as Matt, the Medical Assistant and Dr. John who patiently discussed the possible options of treatment. The people are very welcoming and the wait time is reasonable.

The fast and professional service was surprisingly unfamiliar. The intake nurse was polite as well as the rest of the nurses. I just went to this UrgentCare center on the request from my loving daughter. I went to another location first with the understanding they could do an x-ray. It turned out that on a Sunday, neither location in Bear or Newark could accommodate me for that request. However, the Bear location was very busy on a Sunday afternoon, while the Newark location was not. I was able to walk in and be seen immediately. I gave a 5 rating because I couldnt give my actual rating of 4.7/8. The only issue I had was the quick referral to their Hospital ER across the street with a 1.7 very low rating. I felt like the referring physician only saw dollar signs since I have good health insurance. My two EKGs shows no real emergency. Most, if not all, the hospital ERs around Philly are rated higher. I should have checked before I went to that ER.

Holly Smith NP was very thorough, a good listener and had a quick diagnosis , gave me an injecton of torodol which greatly helped with the pain and large dose steroids x 5 day and within two days felt great ! Dianna, RT was also very thorough and a great listener !

This is my go-to Urgent care location. They are quick, they listen and take you seriously, and they find solutions. I havent had a bad experience with them yet, and Ive done in person as well as virtual visits. I really appreciate the services they provide.

The whole clinic clean appered to clean. The service I received for a sprained ankle was fast yet thorough. All the instructions were easy to understand and the x-ray machine is in the clinic now.

Terrible service: doctor said he wanted to teach me a “lesson” for taking my 3 year old child to uc instead of his PCP but my childs PCP was booked for same day sick appt

First, the diversity of the unit was surprising and welcomed. I was happy to see that. Also, the staff and NP that treated me were all knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to provide care and get me out of there in no time. I will definitely go back in the future if needed but I am really hoping its not needed.

Went for the first time this past week and was pleasantly surprised. There is a very efficient remote check in/reservation process, and not much of a wait. You do remain in your car until you are alerted to come in as there is currently a 1 person policy in waiting room. The receptionist was kind and helpful. The NP was thorough and refreshingly down to earth. She took the time to explain treatment options.

Great experience, with efficient but congenial staff; brief wait after booking one of many available slots online. Dr. was very attentive and promptly sent my script to Walgreens.

The staff and Drs were friendly and professional! I was in and out in about an hour. Making an appointment was easy and efficient. I like the fact that i can get my records off the portal however Im not seeing the x-ray images. Is there a way of obtaining a digital copy?Great treatment both personally and professionally!

The young man who did my intake paperwork and vitals along with Dr. John made me laugh. I was really upset and they made what I thought was a bad situation a good situation. Just from their great personality. Great service.

I was able to check in online which made my wait minimal. The check in woman was pleasant but was having a conversation with the other check in lady about going out “drinking” and having people “over” at their place. Patients do not want to hear personal conversations in the waiting room while they are sick. I was taken back quickly and the medical technician was very swift. She got all of the information that the Doctor needed. The doctor was nice. He was able to quickly diagnosed me, prescribed me medications and I was on my way within 45 minutes. Quality service.

I hadnt been here in over 6 years (bad experiences) but read new reviews that looked good. I got there right when they opened, the staff was pleasant and I was seen quickly and efficiently. One of the best urgent care expenses Ive ever had,glad to see how wonderful the changes are.

I love the staff John, Ashley and Dr. J. Demario they all are so FRIENDLY & PROFESSIONAL . It was my first time there & the staff made me feel so welcome & assured me everything will be alright. I never been to an urgent care where the whole staff was so AMAZING!!!! They all deserve a raised and they all are a valuable asset to ChristianaCare GoHealth Urgent Care. My experience here was awful. I have terrible asthma and I went in for tightness in my chest after suffering with the flu for almost two weeks. The nurse at the front desk explained I wouldn’t be seen for over four hours, and she offered the option of coming back or going to a different location. I then explained my situation to her of living almost an hour away and how it hurt to breath and her response was ignorant and offensive.I simply explained how when I had gone to another urgent care she was suggesting a week prior and that the steroid they gave me wasn’t working and typically my primary doctor would follow up with giving me an antibiotic. I explained this was because usually I develop bronchitis or pneumonia. She had the nerve to say , Oh we don’t just give antibiotics just cause. As though I wanted to take them recreationally. I never asked her to diagnose me or to do something about it, we were having a general conversation about the other location and what occurred . I didn’t yell, nor did I get an attitude and I felt as though I was truly profiled and labeled and that my concerns were going to be dismissed when I came back. I will NEVER utilize them again.

I don’t usually post reviews, but my mine needs to be heard. A little after Christmas, I noticed a change in my health. Being a very healthy person, I was not making a huge deal of my symptoms. Maybe they would blow over. I was having a heart rate of 170+ every time I stood up or walked up the steps. I felt fatigue, dizzy when I stood up, i lost a significant amount of weight. I was thinking it could have been from the energy drinks I drank or possibly anxiety from my wedding that planned in May, or maybe even high blood pressure. I could feel my throat ready to explode with how fast my heart palpitations were. I booked an appointment with my PCP but was unable to get in for a week. Until my symptoms began to worsen, I felt lifeless. I needed some sort of medical treatment sooner before I could see my PCP. So I took a trip to Urgent Care. Explained every symptom, how I was feeling etc. All this DOCTOR could think of is giving me an EKG. Heart was perfect, she told me to stop drinking energy drinks, drink more water and sent me on my way. Fast forward to the day of my appointment with PCP, explained my symptoms to the PA, and immediately she became suspicious. My hemoglobin was 4. That’s right, FOUR! I was actively dying. Was sent immediately to get a blood transfusion for being severely anemic. Went for bloodwork the next day. I was told I have Leukemia the following week after seeing Hematology. Regardless if this is an urgent care or a PCP office, these are doctors and all this doctor did was tell me to drink more water and took my money. I am severely disappointed and will never recommend anyone to this place. Nor will I be returning for anything.

My first time visiting an urgent care facility and from check in, the lady (she did tell me her name but I dont remember it) who took my vitals when I was in the exam room made me feel comfortable and was so warming, and the doctor and young lady taking his notes were both professional and Dr explained what to do and how to do it. Was a very pleasant experience under the circumstances.

I was super impressed with my doctor — very caring and thorough. The staff are friendly and helpful. I didn’t realize appointments could be made online to avoid waiting. I will definitely do that next time. One of the best experiences I have ever had at an urgent care facility.

I had to lug my two young children here today so that I could get looked at for a terrible issue with my mouth.Let me tell you - from the second I walked in there, I enjoyed my experience. The receptionist was beyond nice, the medical aide was sweet, a random nurse gave my daughter an apple juice and the actual doctor was personable and really listened to me. I had a great experience today and I thank everyone that we interacted with for being so kind.

Christiana urgent care as very fast. The process of being seen took about 20-30mins. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

While this is a no-appointment-necessary clinic, you can hold your spot on their site. I was able to get right in with no waiting. What a great feature!The staff was fantastic. Everyone, from the check-in to the woman who checked my vitals to the doctor to the x-ray technician to the wonderful pro who wheeled me around (and out to my car!), was friendly, caring, and helpful. Dr. Jones listened to me carefully and was respectful. I really appreciated that he took the time to hear what I thought about my injury and what I sought — which ended up being the same treatment he recommended.I would absolutely recommend this place. Because its not an ER, you get in and out in a timely manner and arent bumped or triaged into a corner.

The most amazing friendly staff!! (I am someone who suffers from panic attacks when it comes to having blood drawn )I had to go get bloodwork there for the first time a few days ago and the ladies there helped calm me down, made sure that I was okay and the moment I wasn’t feeling well they helped me get in a more comfortable position. They talked to me, were fast and efficient, and effectively have been the only healthcare providers to not induce a panic attack in me while taking my blood and I can’t thank them enough for giving me a positive experience

It was fast yet 100% efficient! Dr Warrington was excellent and diagnosed my condition correctly then strongly encouraged me to go to the ER at either Christiana Hospital or Wilmington Hospital. I went to Wilmington ER as Dr Warrington told me that it was the only way to make sure there was not a puncture that could have severe consequences. I would recommend Christiana Walk Up Urgent Care to Everyone

Easy to make an appointment. They had a wide wheelchair available for our use which made things so much easier. Everything was running on time.

The receptionist and nurse were very friendly and efficient. I got back quickly, even though I hadn’t reserved a place in line ahead of time, but it’s pretty cool that you can do that via the website so you don’t have to wait long in the waiting room. Once the nurse left it took a little while for the Doctor to come back, but once she did she really spent the time to ask questions, consider the diagnosis and even consulted the other doctor. I appreciate their attentiveness here. This is basically the exact opposite experience I had at MedExpress on Kirkwood Hwy last week.

I had to get a physical for my son ASAP! Jonathan at the front desk was absolutely a pleasure to work with and gave me several options and the opportunity to find the right for needed for a sports physical. Not only was he helpful, he was answering phones, questions from other staff members, he had a smile while doing it all! The doctor who saw my son was also pleasant! Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

Checked in online and only waited in the office for a few minutes to be called back. The Medical Assistant who started the visit with me set the tone for a great experience. He was kind & caring, definitely didn’t make me feel like I needed to rush through explaining my symptoms. Then the NP I saw was more of the same. She spent time with me discussing issues, giving me some helpful “life hacks” for a summer cold and explained everything I needed to know. Great experience!

This is not an urgent care---- about three months ago, we walked in and the waiting room was empty, and the front desk person said it would be a three hour wait. I asked why, no one is here. I was told there are appointments scheduled. Fast forward to today, called to make sure I could get in, and there were not a lot of appointments. Was told you have to make an appointment. That is not urgent care, it is same day doctor appointment. So sad as I always impressed by the level of care given there.

I recommend reserving a place in line on their website and filling out your forms in advance of your visit. I was checked in at 1:10pm and was discharged in 30-35 minutes. I was seen for a minor issue (suspected UTI). The check-in staff, nurses, and doctors were all great. Overall a very good experience. I recommend!Update: I was seen at this location a few days ago, which would make it a year since my last visit, and all my comments still apply. I truly appreciate the consistency! :)

The staff here are great! I just left there a little bit ago. I made an appt online and was taken in close to that time. The staff were friendly when checking in and throughout the whole process until the end. Dr. Jones was attentive and took the time to explain to me what was going on and in the most lament terms too :) Plus, he has a sense of humor; always a plus in my book! And he didnt try to rush me out of there like some doctors do. His assistant was a sweetheart too. I had to get some surgi-strips put on and was out of there in 45-50. They were in the room with me more than out of it, which I appreciated. Most times people get taken back to their room, answer some questions, etc. and then wait what seems like forever for the doc to show his/her face but that did not happen here. So all in all, a totally great experience! I dont post reviews very often at all but I felt this was worth it. If anyone I know asks where to go, I will be pointing them in this direction. Very professional and thorough staff. We visited Dr. Jones and we’re very pleased with his bedside manner when it came to our 8 month old son. He took the time to listen to our concerns and explain things in a way we could understand. Oh and I was able to check in online and the wait time was less than 5 mins. Thanks again!

Your staff at Christiana Care go Health Urgent Care was very welcoming, professional and polite. I must say the young lady who did my covid test was the best no pain whatsoever. The last time I had a covid test it was horrible I thought my my eyes were going to come out thats how far he went with that Wicked stick, it felt like it had a deck brush on it. Laugh out loud. This last experience was outstanding. I will be back.

The online reserve for a spot was a bit different and I really liked it.. 5-10 min after I physically checked in I was called back to be seen.. The registration process was easy and the woman working registration was incredibly friendly..I was there about 40 minutes total.. doctor and staff were very nice also. First time I went to a medical aid unit, so happy I chose this one.. when I need their convenience for non emergencies, Ill def go back.

Had a very pleasant experience here. The wait time was minimal and the staff was very accommodating and kind. The doctor was very helpful and explained everything to me and had excellent bedside manner. Couldnt ask for more. Very satisfied.

I recently went in for an ear infection. The staff was quick and efficient. I ended up losing my prescribed drops at a hotel since I’m traveling and I called back to see if they could send me a new prescription to where I’m at. Tawanna was a great help! She really took time to understand and help with my situation. I work in a customer service based workplace and employees like her need to be recognized. She is a life saver ! Thanks Tawanna.

All of the staff were helpful, polite and kind. Latoya took the x-rays that my mom needed. There were several challenges with positioning due to my moms limited mobility but Latoya remained patient and understanding through all of it. Her kindness and compassion helped make a less than ideal situation a better experience.

Everyone there was nice, they helped me when I needed it and they made my visit very comfortable.

Made an appointment, but I couldnt be seen because they couldnt verify my insurance. However according to them, Amerihealth never verifies coverage via their system, and my non verification looks different. Um okay. So I asked them to call, but according to them, they dont call. Okay. The option I was given was to put a credit card on file so they can charge it if the insurance doesnt bill. However, I dont feel comfortable putting the card on file because it seems like theyre not willing to do due diligence, and they will probably just go ahead and charge my card instead of billing my insurance.

I hurt my foot and made an appointment for them to look at it. The staff was amazing especially Marco and the X-ray technician. It’s a good thing I was treated because it is a break and I may need surgery. Thank you for making a bad situation pleasant.PS your methods to protect patients from COVID-19 made me feel safe.

I came in for a sprained knee. Check in was easy and waited less than 10 minutes. They ordered an xray which they did on site and had results immediately. Everyone was very nice and professional. I would definitely go back and recommend the facility to others.

This place will be number 1 andhighly recommended, especially for people who have busy schedules. They’re fast even ,if you don’t have an Appointment they will Accommodate you.

If you needed urgent care, it may not be possibly to get in to see the doctor quickly, if you walked in at 8am when they opened. Best practice as per the receptionist, register online a day in advance or when you walk in, they’ll have you make an appt on a tablet and that will give you an appointment 2hrs and 30 mins away in this case. You can’t wait in the waiting room . Quite disappointed there aren’t other options provided, I cancelled my appointment and will make a different health option myself.

Handled with care, from the beginning of signing in, to the Medical Assistant and doctor. Excellent customer service. I was treated at the GI LAB Russell, Frank, Dr. Beck, Nikki, Mia, Emily and Dr. Meyerson have a great team, very professional, gentle, great bedside manners.

Been here a few times since moving to the area since 2018, and they have been very friendly and helpful so far. Not a bad experience yet. Went today for help with symptoms of headaches, eye pain, and nausea that they took care of quickly with medication while I was there, and filled two prescriptions at my local pharmacy for me to pickup on my way home. All this week I have been to an ophthalmologist, my primary care, then the hospital for an MRI, then back to my primary care for lab work, to try to find out why I have swelling behind my eyes with pain, headaches, slightly blurrier vision, and nausea, and I have yet to get a lumbar puncture with the neurologist, and the earliest appt I could get is about three weeks away. Unfortunately, my primary Care never even thought to try to address relieving the symptoms I was having during all this, and they are hard to reach through phone, and Id have to wait for another appointment, whenever that could be squeezed in. This place stepped in and quickly filled that role the same day, walk-in after online reservation, with a reassuring friendly smile and attitude, and for that, I am deeply appreciative and grateful for the care and relief they provided.

Went to the Christiana Care Urgent Care center to be examined for my medical issue, and concern. The Dr. that treated me was Dr. James. She and the entire staff were very courteous, and helpful, with my treatment there. I would highly recommend this Urgent Care facility!👍

I had an appointment yesterday for chest congestion after having a sinus infection for a month. Currently taking a second antibiotic from my PCP because the first one didn’t work and am now experiencing chest congestion and severe wheezing at night. Was seen by Dr. Caroline Mrozek and she dismissed my concerns and was determined to convince me I was experiencing allergies because my nose had a pinch mark (which was clearly from my mask after wearing it for 10 hours at work). She then told me for a third time to talk to my PCP and get allergy medicine prescribed after I still complained about my wheezing, coughing at night and extreme history of Asthma. I was frustrated after feeling unheard and dismissed and finally demanded an inhaler. She then stated that she would send an inhaler to my pharmacy and quickly told me our visit was over. Totally incompetent in my opinion. And here I am writing a review at 6am after waking up coughing and wheezing.

Amazing staff and PA. Was in and out in less than an hour. And great music as well. We are a medically Davy family and have been to many walk ins and urgent care facilities and this one was at the top of the list.

I went in for a Covid test and it was mostly a disaster. First, they took me an hour late despite having made my appointment 3 days in advance. Next, they ask far too many questions that have nothing to do with why you are there in the first place. No wonder the test sites are jammed - IT ALL TAKES TOO LONG! I didnt get notice of my results until 4 days later when I know they were available sooner than that. Now, I cant access the patient portal because it wont accept my password despite following the password guidelines and the site telling me that my password choice is a highly secure one. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow at 1:15 pm and they need proof that my results were negative BUT I CANT GET INTO THE PORTAL! Not a good experience.

Excellent! For me it was a five stars? Your circumstances?I used the call ahead number from my phone to get an appt in 2 hours and I signed up for texts. I got 2 texts a reminder or something. I checked in at the kiosk and was called in like 15 minutes to registration desk gave them insurance I’d and drivers license and that was the longest part. About 5. Minutes later the patient care person saw me did the interview and checked vitals The Doc set up a treatment and got X-rays and saw me like 3 times. Well a fairly long visit but appointment time to finish was 90 minutes and comfortable. Coudnt have made it quicker.

Provider warnington is a horrible “doctor.” While we were waiting he came out and demands the receptionist to stop all walking at 6pm when the office closes at 8pm. Then when my girlfriends 2 year old sick child would not wear a mask he tried to refuse treatment. After he decides to check him out he holds the pulse ox reader he squeezes his finger to cut circulation as the 2 year old is screaming to let go he says he needs to be brought somewhere else because he can’t be seen at that office. I was then brought back for my appointment where I tell him this is my third time there for this and I have a dermatologist appointment scheduled but it isn’t until beginning of December he got in my face spoke louder and told me “we will not prescribe anymore steroid medications because you need to go be seen to stop the issue” after I explained I had an appointment scheduled but they were the soonest I could find available. I would not reccomend him or his office to anybody.

Everyone from start to finish was so nice and welcoming. I reserved my spot on their website and was seen within 5 minutes of my arrival time. I was in and out in about 20 minutes at the most. The staff TRULY care about you and wished me well as I exited. Hope I don’t need to go back to them for feeling ill but I def would if neccesary!

This was the best medical aid unit that I have ever come to. I usually will wait to see my doctor but this was an urgent case so I was visiting relatives and wasnt sure which place I was going to go to because it was a Saturday and this one was the closest. Beside that be the first good thing I came in and there were already 4 people waiting to be seen and I dont know how many more being seen. I thought I would be there for hours but I checked in and the receptionist was very nice and concerned for my condition. I only waited about 30 minutes and then I was called back and was only back there about 20 minutes being seen. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I would recommend it to my friends and family first.

I went to the clinic 2 weeks ago on a Monday. Once I was asked to come inside, I waited in a room for almost half an hour. Doctors visit was super short. She saw me for about 5 minutes. Medication she prescribed,w which was non-effective at all. Not only my symptoms didnt go away, they got worse after taking the medication. I called the office 2 days later. Noone helped. All they said was to come back in. I said, I just need to speak with the physician so she can prescribe me better medication. All they said is to come back in, so they charge me again. I was given number of an assistant director. Her voicemail said she is out till August (remember I went to see the doctor middle of October). I left a voicemail. Again 2 days later, I called in, same song and dance. I called assistant director again. Surprisingly went to voicemail again. Left another message. No response in the past 2+ weeks. I finally went in to a different clinic and received better medication. If you are to go to this facility, remember they may prescribe ineffective medicine, and afterwards they dont care about you at all. Needless to say Ill never be stepping foot on that facility again.

I felt welcomed and cared for. It is nice to see the service consistency between locations. Everyone was super friendly. I received quality and friendly service. The employees at the Omega location are fantastic!

Very friendly and professional doctor and staff! We are from out of town and even though our 2-year old was sick they put him, and us, at ease. He was all smiles when we left! We didnt have to wait to be seen, they called in our prescription so it was ready for us soon after we arrived at the nearby pharmacy, and they billed our insurance. We tried going to another urgent care down the road that said wed have to pay $175 to be seen. Thank you guys! We are back on the road enjoying the rest of our vacation!

I had a very prompt and friendly visit. I had my eye checked out. The doctor on duty was on point. I did have a problem with getting my prescription from two different walgreens. I called the urgent care back to explain this. The guy named Johnathan at the front desk was very helpful. He went beyond the call of duty to find a walgreens. Thank you.

Have been here a few times. Always friendly and always quick unlike other med expresses where you’d be there 1-2 hours. Here 35 minutes in and out!!! Make sure to use their express check in online...amazing service where you can wait at home instead of in the office.

Went to the Glasgow location. Receptionist, nurse, and doctor were all very nice and patient with my resistant 3 yr old. Saved our spot online. The wait was short. We would definitely revisit if we need care again.

GreatHi, its me again Sandy D Im back for I fell after my ankle surgery ( my whole leg was numb) and I feel if husband would of secured the fur babies i wouldnt of fell but anyway i had appt at 4:30 and i was greeted by Donna &Matthew and they both were very kind also i had to have xrays and a couple had to be with me laying down and i could not lay down and mz Donna was so understanding and kind and took them with me standing and she said that I was Very Photographic and she made me at ease so I just want to thank each of them ...for going out of their way to make me very comfortable Thank you for your caringPS .. I just want to say how glad I am this team was here to help me navigate my way through COVID-19. Every day they checked in. A doctor from their service was available if needed. They offered good and timely advice. Im certain it kept me out of the hospital and moving forward.

There is no patient confidentiality. I walked in there was one person ahead of me and one sitting down the receptionist at the desk asks if I had an appt and I said yes and gave my name, she starts to literally say why I’m there and asked what symptoms I had etc I said is this even appropriate to discuss my health or issues in a lobby with patients that can clearly hear this.They spend more time gathering and talking around the receptionist area then actually dealing with patients!! I was taken back to the room by a young lady who was very miserable and couldn’t be asked a question because she would respond with an attitude. If I said something not in her medical terms she would correct me with sarcasm. I waited 1hr in this room for a nurse practitioner not even a doctor to come see me and who did not even exam me what so ever, stood across the room from me said 2minutes of bla bla bla and was rushing out the room, I had to literally say excuse me but I have thrush in my mouth and she responded with how do you know that’s what it is? I had to bite my tongue because at this point I am frustrated. I said because i have had it before she said let me look said I will prescribe you something that’s really good and walked out. Okie dokie well what she prescribed was useless. They had not problem charging me 40dollara for my copay. Truly waste of time. A complete disappointment my first and last time!! As a restaurant owner they would be en embarrassment to be the face of my business!!

Made an appointment online and I’ve been waiting over 70 minutes since my appointment time. Lots of workers just hanging out around the check in and nurse station. This is the Bear location. I’ve previously been to the location on Route 202 and never had any issues.

Staff was awesome from start to finish. Clerk was friendly and very nice, tech who got info and vitals was prompt and nice. Also the PA that I saw was informative and kind hearted. They all showed love and excellence the Christiana Care way. 🙂 Thanks for caring for me urgently

Unable to schedule through website (28th, 29th, 30th of May only selectable dates, no timeslots showing at all, all dates beyond May 30 are grayed out through December). When called, was told they cannot schedule over the phone, website is only way to schedule, but ChristianaCare has NO policy/procedure/recourse in place if website is having issues. First time Ive ever reviewed a place without going, but I find myself unwilling to sit in pain for potentially hours without being able schedule an appointment because ChristianaCare apparently feels theyre employees are incapable of scheduling appointments if/when their website has issues.

Im not a big fan of medical aid units. I always prefer to see my primary care physician if possible. Unfortunately, there are time when you need care immediately and dont have time to wait for an appointment. With all the great reviews, I had high expectations of the Christiana Care Medical Aid Unit at Christiana that were not met. I went in because my ankle has been bothering me for over 2 weeks, and I wanted to make sure I hadnt fractured or broken something in my foot/ankle. The check-in process didnt take long and was efficient. I was able to see the nurse practitioner relatively quickly and after that is when it all went down hill. I was told someone would come to get me for an x-ray. Twenty minutes later one of the nurses came in with a confused look on his face and I told him I was waiting for someone to take me for an x-ray. When I came out of the room, it was apparent I had been forgotten about and there were several workers who tried to laugh it off. I was escorted to the x-ray area and that process went smoothly. When I went back to the medical aid unit, the nurse practitioner said aloud to the room that someone needed to wrap my ankle. Before I knew it, I was being given release and what to do when you leave papers to sign without any feedback on my x-rays or what I was supposed to do. When I asked if the results of the x-ray were back, again the nurse practitioner hollard from outside that the x-rays were negative for a fracture. Then I asked was my ankle sprained. The nurse checking me out wasnt sure how to answer and said I was being prescribed medicine with no further explanation. Finally, the nurse practitioner came into the room and read from the discharge papers what I was supposed to do. So, at this point I am treating my ankle as if it is sprained, but not really sure if it is or not. I guess if Im not healed in a couple of weeks, Ill contact my primary care physician.

Went in to be seen today as my primary doctor is not in her office today. Thought for 2 weeks it was UTI (been on antibiotics for that), but pain has kicked in and husband thinks its a kidney stone. Saw Doctor H. Jones this am. Although they could not CT scan for Kidney stones he was an outstanding doctor. So kind explained everything on how these are treated and which ER I could go to for CT scan today. He was wonderful kind and gave time an attention to my concerns. You dont find this type of caring all of the time now a days. Everyone always in a hurry, but he was very patient with my questions and detailed in his answers (not above my head with terms or explained medical terminology he was using) Hands down the best doctor Ive seen in years!!!! Kudos Dr. Jones keep up the great work! Being a doctor was your calling in life and I for one am thrilled you answered that calling (and that your in DE).

Easy to schedule appointment basically in and out in about an hour. Doctor listened to my concerns and I left with knowledge not just a script.

Went there as needed my son to be seen fast and go back to school. They were abit slow checking my son in as a lady came in after we had done the computer check in and was attended to first while we were still waiting to be called to the window. Anyhow we finally were called into the exam room and there everyone was quick, professional and gave excellent care. We were done and I dropped my son back to school in time for lunch.

Good experience. I went at 5 pm on a Friday and even though they were busy, they kept things flowing. The doctor (Dr. Mrozek) who saw me was very compassionate and knowlegeable and the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful.

Came in today for a painful splinter under my nail and all of the staff including Dr. Kramer was absolutely amazing. Dr. Kramer made me laugh and smile throughout the whole procedure. I would come here for all my needs if I could! This place is better than my PCP office! Highly recommend.

Everyone from the front desk to the nurses and Doctors are a welcoming sight. They show genuine interest in their patients. Thanks to everyone.

Have always gone here. Staff has always been nice as have doctors. Until today. Saw Dr. Phyllis James. Unsympathetic and not nice. Wont go back if she is there. Ladies at the desks in the waiting room are the nicest.

Dr. Kramer was wonderful. He took his time with me, he had a warm friendly approach. The prior arrival check in feature was also great. Overall great experience.
