Planned Parenthood - Ironbound Health Center

If zero stars were an option I would choose it instead. Highly unprofessional office. They say they’re here to help but the staff and nurse practitioners were completely rude along with attitude, did not wear their badges, and did not seem like they knew at all what they were doing. I came in for a minor procedure was there for 2 hours and instead of performing it correctly I left in tears because of mistakes. Would not recommend anyone to come here.

I have come to this Planned Parenthood location a few times over the past 15years.My last experience was pleasant. It’s not the quickest experience, but it wasn’t unbearable for me. I was there approx 1.5 hour. The staff was friendly and professional. My only complaint is that there were not any wipes to use for the urine sample.

Canceled my appointment twice both the day of, i called out of work to go both times too. ridiculous

I made an appointment with Planned Parenthood. I was sent a message to go to the Planned Parenthood on Mulberry Street. I’ve arrived on time and was told to go to the one on Adams street. So I’m later than I want to be but still within the 15 minute grace period. Receptionist was incredibly rude and disrespectful when talking to patients. I can understand needing to reschedule, what I don’t like is being talked down to with an attitude. Do not recommend this place. Better off traveling outside of the city.

I wouldnt even give this place a 1.Ive been coming to this facility for almost 20 years and the staff was great. It took the new receptionist Jasmine 5 min to buzz me in mind you shes sitting at her desk. Then never takes my name someone comes in after me she signed them in.I couldnt even deal with her because she was rude. No professionalism at all. This will be my last time coming here.

This place is supposed to help people out, i arrived late because there was an accident in the road because the weather was very bad, sometimes we can’t control the weather bad they refused to help me, you don’t know what people go through and it bad to give a hand sometimes

Very nice staff. made me feel super comfortable my first time there. only took me awhile b/c my insurance couldnt be verified b/c United Healthcares system was down. however they were persistent & kept calling them so I didnt have to pay

The wait is just simply unacceptable. Even if you have an appointment you will wait HOURS. Twice I went and had an appointment and waited 2.5 hours! Thats right two and a half HOURS before being seen. Terrible.Well 10 months later the wait is still ridiculous and even calling to make an appointment I waited on the phone for 20 minutes. Its not their fault. I just dont think they have enough funding, sadly.

Everyone is so kind and patient, made me feel very comfortable and taken care of. Definitely would recommend

Saw the most understanding and patient doctor. Going to PP isnt the worlds most encouraging experience so feeling heard and taken care of is so important and they did that for me.Yea, its a small office and a bit of a wait but all PPs usually are.

I hate this stupid place people so lazy don’t want to do they jobs and have smart mouths tired of this place been coming here for years but enough is just enough I do not recommend

Didnt do well after my iud removal/ insertion and the doctor and nurses did their best to make sure I recovered and left safely. I really appreciate their efforts.

I brought my taxes , and I ask many times how much they would charge me , they refused to said before , if I would know that they charge me 225.00 dollars, I won’t be accept to go inside and do anything....I don’t recommend for anyone,I payed more affordable price to same thing on San James clinic, the reason I went because I thought will be better price , and they don’t charge bunch of people when they are minors, or probably if they don’t work or is undocumented for charging double for regular people that I am finished pay for othersRidiculous, I am very angry

Everyone here is pleasant, professional and very helpful. The facility is clean and welcoming. The wait can be long. I suggest making an appointment.

People are very friendly and professional.

People who work take too much time seeing a patient, one can be there for up to 5 hours. They talk, they chat, I dont respect the public.
