Planned Parenthood - Morristown Health Center

Great, cleanly, place! The staff is always nice and helpful! The nurses are always informative and I love the doctor! I always recommend this planned parenthood to any of my friends! The wait is usually quite long but they always have the food network on or hgtv so I dont mind it!

Like the other reviews said the front desk is terrible RBF the minute they opened their doors in the morning. I’m pregnant and wanted an ultrasound to know gestational age and they turned me away telling me to go to the emergency room because I wrote that I had cramping. Cramping is normal during pregnancy first trimester, I was just noting it. How do you turn someone away for something that is a normal part of pregnancy? Don’t waste your time going here, maybe their other locations are better but this one is not it. If the front desk hates their job so much maybe go find a different one!

I had to have a procedure done and I am convinced that Dr.Bernstein actually saved my life. He was very informative, professional, and good at his job. He answered any questions I had and I felt very comfortable with him and all of the nurses the entire time. Thank you all.

All the staff here are wonderful, professional and helpful. A+ on all sides- scheduling, information and patient care. New and improved after construction. Clean and comfortable facility.

Front desk woman has rbf and seems miserable, the dude was nice. Nursing staff was friendly. Waited over 2 hours to see doctor, so dont have any other plans lined up the day you come for a scheduled appointment. Should be getting money back for the waste of time sitting in their waiting room and patients room.

You’d think as for a facility trying to aid women with their reproductive health, they’d be more efficient and knowledgeable, but i called to make an appt for an IUD placement and the women on the phone couldn’t answer any of my questions about price, tell me what it is with my insurance, she couldn’t tell me how long the insertion lasts… she sounded like she didn’t even want to be there. As for that, I’ll be finding somewhere else to get my IUD put in as I know it’s painful and I’d rather go somewhere that is caring. First experience with planned parenthood in Morristown and I am disappointed. I’ve gone to another one before and it wasn’t too bad, but also, barely any info was given by the Dr

DONT COME HERE terrible service. They dont take appointments for birth control so you have to walk in And wait OVER AN HOUR for a 5 min procedure. ai will not be comming back here.

Same as other reviews on here. I didn’t get seen until 2hrs after my appointment. The front desk had misplaced my chart. The doctor or nurse that saw me did not even introduce herself. I had to ask for her name, Iraida Garcia. Very unpleasant vibe, like if she was upset. Did not greet me to make me feel comfortable. Never felt this uncomfortable! I just hope the medicine works!

I’m only giving it 2 stars because they were the only location that was able to see me the next day, whereas all the other locations couldn’t get me in until the end of February and because the front desk staff and nurses were VERY helpful. (This was my first time at the location & after driving over an hour to get there, they made it worth it.) My appointment was at 11. The nurse took me back at 10:55 and had me in the exam room waiting for the doctor by 11:10. The doctor didn’t come in until a little after 11:40 and when she did, it was very brief. I still don’t feel like I have the answers that I should have gotten by talking to her. She asked me a question. I answered what I saw and when she observed something that was physically impossible for me to see, she was rude about it. ALSO, I said “ow”/told her multiple times that she was hurting me and not once did she acknowledge it or apologize. She has very poor bedside manners. I will not be coming back to this location again, even if it’s an emergency.

Morristown is thee worst PP location. They NEVER call back. I had to call other locations to finally get through to them. Finally made an appointment for 1pm, wasnt seen until after 2pm and didnt leave until after 3pm. Called for my results a week later, again NO ONE called me back. I just called another location who called me back right away. I dont want to hear that theyre super busy because a phone call lasts maybe 5 minutes and Ive seen the receptionists have conversations between each other that lasted way longer than that. Ive never had any issues with any other location and Ive been going to PP for over 10 years. You dont tell someone they may have cancer and then not return a phone call with results. They say 24 to 48 hours and it is NOT true, they NEVER call back. Im sure if they were sitting around waiting for a call like that, theyd want a call back too!!!!

I been going here for the last 2 years and I really tried to continue to give them a chance but enough is enough , I been trying to get in contact with somebody from this location about something important regarding my birth control they don’t care . I get forwarded to the call center who tells me they will call me and I never get a call . I have no way of getting in contact with anybody and at this point I can’t keep letting them affect my health.

Doctors are helpful and respectabele but the front desk is the complete opposite. Hard to get through to them on the phone. Disrespectful and rude when asked for help. I had a appointment at 11 and only got helped at 12:15. When asked the lady said thats just how it is and I need to wait. This was not my first time experiencing this. Not sure why appointments are given then.

I felt a lot of unnecessary pressure from the Doctor to start taking contraceptives when I had already discussed with the nurse that I wasnt comfortable with the idea. I walked out feeling horrible because I had to feel like my decisions werent validated when it came to my own body.

Everything was great until I met the Dr.Making the appointment was smooth, the receptionist was nice and the wait was not long. I have been a proud supporter of Planned Parenthood for 15yrs and have never had a bad experience until now.This old dinosaur of a Dr judged me! He insinuated that I was stupid and chastised me, then gave me misinformation about my new IUD.I would go to any other location, but never again to this one.

This review is not for the clinic, but for the CALL CENTER. I had a great experience and Dr. Bernstein was AMAZING. The staff was really helpful and polite. The call center needs an entire new staff!! I had a procedure done and was told to call if any issues and I did. Not only did I have to call 3 times in 2days, but I spoke with Maracita and she was extremely rude and should not work in the medical field. She has no compassion and was going back and fourth with me after the doctor specifically told me to reach out to him. I was worried and scared and dont have insurance to get admitted to the emergency room. She told me bc Im not from this location the doctor would not even know who I am. I work in the medical field and that was very unprofessional. How am I suppose to feel comfortable if the doctor doesnt remember me from 2 days ago? Thats not something you are suppose to tell patients even if he didnt. Finally after I told her I wasnt hanging up unless I spoke with at least a nurse my message then got to the doctor. He called me back immediately and told me to come in. Once I got there the staff was very nice and told me theyre glad I came in bc of my situation. I really hope this message gets to a higher authority and fire her immediately!

I went despite the bad reviews because I like to give places the benefit of the doubt but now I understand the reason for the negative feedback. I went here on a Thursday to have all the routine testing done and I was told that the HIV test shows results in 15 minutes and the other results would require 7-10 business days. No one ever told me anything before I left the office and now it’s been over three weeks with still no results. I’ve tried calling the office but they just sent me to the help line for the result messaging center. I would never go here again.

I literally will never go back to this place ever again. I’ve gone here before and the experience was great ( granted this was years ago) this time around? Not so much. I’ve literally called this establishment 5 times for my results. It has been almost 3 weeks and nothing. I keep getting told I would get a call back within 24hrs and again no follow up. And when I told the woman over the phone it’s been almost 3 weeks she immediately got defensive and tried to correct me even though she just ended up proving me right. I was told the test I had done would only take up to 7-10 business days. It is super unprofessional. I shouldn’t have to beg for my results when giving your patients their results is part of your job. 10/10 would not recommend. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

I had a really great experience there. The staff and the doctor were polite, professional, and nice. I had an old nexplanon removed and a new one inserted. 3 years ago a different doctor (somewhere in Florida) spent 45 minutes digging the old nexplanon out of my arm. This doctor had it out in 60 second, flat. Really, I rarely write reviews, but I just really appreciated the facility. It was clean, and everyone was very nice and good at their job.

Absolutely horrible place. Not only is the quality of service beyond horrible but you sit and wait even when you have an appointment. But don’t be late at all cause you’ll get reamed about by them, but it’s ok for you to sit and wait for hours to be seen even with an appointment. And don’t bother calling the the number for them because it’s a call center and they will give you wrong information. I called to get my records and was told I could just come get them and I get here and nope, I can’t have them. I have to fill out a form and wait at least a week to get MY records. So I drove 40 minutes to be told I can’t have my stuff. Absolutely horrible place. Never ever come here ever

This location is godsent! The staff, nurses and doctors that worked with me were all extremely helpful during a recent procedure . I had been to several locations over the past 10 years and this pp location was by far the most comfortable, welcoming office Ive visited. I was super impresssed with the waiting area and the relaxing vibe it gave off. Of corse there is going to be a wait, any doctor office there usually is, this place being no different. The nurses were extremely sweet and helpful the entire visit. Defiantly have no complaints and would recommend this location over any other Ive visited in the past :)

If i could give them 0 starts i would , service was horrible, i had a appointment at 9:15 that i made 2 weeks within advanced. 11:30 came around and i was still sitting in the waiting area , meanwhile 9:45 and 10:30s were been seen, which is disrespectful and not right ! And i wasn’t the only one who was waiting there for more then an hour . I had to leave without been seen because Like most people we cant sit there all day long waiting for them , thats the whole reason to make an appointment to work around ur schedule.I Don’t understand why they tell you to schedule and appointment and they don’t even care to go in order of the appointments made. If u could avoid of going there don’t go is a waste of time your time , i should’ve listen to the previous reviews

Worst experience ever!! Had a 4:15pm appointment and still sitting here waiting at 5:15pm as I watch other people go back. The receptionist doesnt care AT ALL and is trying to say it is based on appointment type. About to leave and never come back. Awesome way to take care of people who really need your care!!

Terrible. Went to get an ultrasound. I was told prior to the appointment that the price was $150, plus possibly a $49 pregnancy test. Showed up at the time of my appointment and waited over an hour, plus another half an hour after the appointment to be checked out, at which point they told me it was $300. The receptionists proceeded to loudly announce (so that other people in the waiting room could hear) what services I had gotten as well as the fact that my card was declined and did not have enough on it. As if today wasnt difficult enough, false information and bad attitudes from the staff only made it worse. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I was blessed with the opportunity to meet Stephanie in Morristown. She was amazing. I’ve never met somebody so understanding, patient and willing to help. If I could recommend anybody, it would her. She made me feel so comfortable.

TERRIBLE! I was misdiagnosed and had to pay $130 dollars for a medication I didn’t even need! Now I have to deal with side effects from using a medication that was not needed in my body! When I spoke to the doctor he was very rude and didn’t even care. Will never come in here again.

Next time you should inform patients you aren’t doing walk ins for a test that normally isn’t appointment only. I called the same day for a reason and the girl that I spoke to whom I believe was named Liz or something along those lines mentioned that I COULD COME IN AS LONG AS IT WAS EARLY not that I needed an appointment. Drove all the way here got turned away then told to come in during the week but I have a full time job and a baby at home so it’s not that easy so then they proceed to tell me that I should try Hackensack.. it’s not that easy for me. Horrible location!

I took my mom for a check up on a Saturday morning. After waiting for approx. 40 mins the doctor was finally able to examine her and then waited another 30-40mins in order to check out. There were 2 receptionists 1 doctor and several patients. When I called the hospital to schedule my mom’s mammogram I found out that the doctor wrote the wrong diagnosis codes on the scripts. Now I am not able to schedule the appointment until the doctor fixes the scripts. I am going to have to drive 45mins back to their office because when I called I was only able to get the outside answering service and they cannot even transfer me to the office directly. Their service is so poor!!! ughhh!!! I am so mad at this point. My mom is in pain and this office sucks. please DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE.

Don’t bother calling for anything because they’ll tell you they’ll call back, then never do. Then when you call again a few days later to follow up bc you never got a call back, you’ll get hung up on after being put on hold again. Then when you call a third time after that, they once again tell you they’ll call back before closing and then never do. I love PP for all that it does, but trying to get a hold of them for any sort of help is horrendous.

I came in as a walk in twice after calling to verify that they were accepting walkins, and when I get here they say I can’t be seen. The second time the excise was that I couldn’t be seen, because if they take another walk in they will end up leaving to Late, yet it was 2:30, they close at 4:30’and there was only 2 patients there waiting to be seen. It’s unacceptable.

I waited two hours to be seen and frony workers let people that came in after me go before me. I was not seen by doctor. This location has horrible services and wait time is ridiculous long. Avoid going her at all cost.

Takes awhile to pick up prescriptions. Other than it’s nice. Clean. The staff is bilingual. The doctor is to the point and recommended the right birth control for my needs.

Is the walk in wait a little long? Yeah, youre walking in. But they take appointments.More importantly, their sanitation practices during the pandemic are TOP NOTCH. Very attentive, polite staff.

Horrible Horrible Horrible service. Made an appointment and had to wait a long time to be seen. Got a prescription for birth control. Pharmacy could not read the presciption. Pharmacy called their office many time. I called the office many times. 24 hours later I still do not have my prescription. $309.00 for an office visit. This business is a joke. Dont waste your time here. I will get private care. What a waste.

I feel just because you dont have insurance or a low income you should not be treated the way you were treated. I had to go into a routine check and then they needed me to take altrasounds and they didnt get back to me for 3 weeks which I kept calling them b finally I had to find another doctor

I made an appointment and drove 35 minutes only to be told that there was a two hour wait.

Just for the record I have not gone here, but I am just commenting on the appearance of the outside of the building. Am I hallucinating, or did this clinic literally take over an old church?!! I could not imagine walking into an abortion clinic that looks like a church, like as if its another reminder that what your doing is not right. its hard enough for some people who were raised religiously to make that decision, and then to walk up to this building??? If it was me Id probably turn around the second I saw the building.

Horrible. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Been calling them for two weeks because I need them to send my medication to the pharmacy and they never do. All they do is take my name, phone number, and tell me that they’ll give a call back. I’m still waiting for them to call me!

I visited for a IUD I saw doctor Murphy and his nursing staff my 1st impression was is this a church lol but once you get past that when you get inside its very clean very nice comfortable atmosphere cant say enough about doctor Murphy very nice giving caring person the staff was very friendly and polite the waiting time was not bad

Angie the nurse and staff are irresponsible and do not complete necessary steps for you to rececieve correct info and in this line of business it’s unacceptable. They don’t follow up on requests nor draw enough blood to run full panles and then they’re rude when you ask them to accommodate their error.Do not entertain this office it’s sad

The most wonderful experience everyone was so kind to me very respectful had to wait a while but it flew by fast Im so happy that I went with this location there is free parking as well what a wonderful experience thank to all the nurses and doctor as well .

I called asking if i needed an appointment for the reasons i told the person on the phone. they then proceeded to hang up the phone like WHAT.

The wait time was longer than expected but the staff was super friendly and helpful. The appointment itself was quick.

The doctor is the only nice aspect of this facility the staff legit is so rude and unwilling to help.

BEWARE. The old man dr is super sketchy i do not trust him. He hurt me so bad i went home passed out from the pain, i genuinely thought i was going to die. When i told other doctors about his behavior some of them started shaking with rage. Im suffering symptoms of endometriosis but when i tried to discuss options he told me if i got a hysterectomy no man would want to marry me and i would never get wet again.... BEWARE

Excellent service, I felt very good, the people who assisted me were friendly, they gave appointments quickly, they spoke Spanish and English.
