Its unfortunate that I have to give 1 star, considering that I never even met Dr. Capelle. The person answering the phone said there were no appointments for 2 months, which is fine. But when I asked to be put on a list for cancelations, she said there is no cancelation list for regular checkups. I explained that this was not for just a checkup, but for a specific problem of a sensitive nature. She couldnt just take my word that there is a problem and add me to the list, she wanted me to tell her what the issue was. Over the phone.

I am absolutely satisfied with the care, concern, and professionalism that I received from the staff and especially Dr. Capelle. Due to continuing care/surgery I now can get back to a normal life style. I can not thank you enough Dr. Capelle. Thanks to you and your encouragement I will be able to enjoy life again!!

If I can save one soul from this doctor, so be it. First and foremost, the staff was excellent. From scheduling to check-in and check-out, 5 stars. But the doctor on the other hand - yikes. She will not listen to you, at all. In fact, shell stare at her computer screen and read the data that you insist doesnt exist because you had been using a telehealth platform. For clarity, I used a telehealth option because it was a money/time saver - like MAJORLY. Simply put, I waited for like 6 months for the appointment and couldnt wait that long for treatment. Apparently, I waited that long for an unnecessary swab and really, only to be treated like a liar. Actually, she all BUT called me a liar. Even though I had been waiting months for the appointment and had an on again off again issue, I told her I had been treating it on my own via a telehealth platform and I wasnt having those particular issues that day; she still swabbed me. Ive never felt so violated and awful leaving an appointment before in my entire life and Ive lost a child! She made me feel lower than low. I had such high hopes considering her skill set but her people skills are beyond lacking. Her energy and how she spoke to me alone made me so nervous/uneasy, I was having trouble even thinking of a couple important facts (for the timeline) because no matter what I said, she barely made eye contact. If youre thinking of going here, just dont. I cannot imagine that being my first ever gynecological appointment, Id never go to another!

Susan Capelle did my last 3 surgeries for Endometriosis. After the 3rd surgery she said she couldn’t remove it all and just suggested birth control. Never educated me that there are specialists for this type of disease. I did my own research and found a doctor in PA that is a specialist. I got in the next day at UPMC but Susan’s office couldn’t guarantee my records would be sent over because their policy is “30 days” worst care I’ve ever received. Worst bedside manner. Never will go to her or her office again.

Dr. Kristen Carpenter was awesome with my client! Being 89 and recently breaking a hip my client was not looking forward to her trip to the gyno, as she has had bad experiences before with previous Drs. (So bad she was in tears about the trip) My client had her pessary removed and replaced and did not even notice! Dr. Carpenter is no doubt one of the best there is. We look forward to going back in Aug. for follow-up appointment. 🙂

Review warranted! My daughter was suffering with an ovarian cyst that landed us in the ER in April, to be let go because the pain subsided. Last Saturday June 19th it acted back up and we were back in the ER once again on the 20th. We were dismissed and she continued to suffer. I knew Dr Capelle was in surgery all day Monday but I was able to contact her directly after hours and made arrangements to take my daughter in for surgery. Praise the Lord that the emergency surgery department opened up for us and Dr Capelle came in with a smile on her face. This was 10:00 pm after an entire day of surgery. She told me this is what we are here for! Thank you Dr Capelle for being so sweet and caring and taking my daughter in. Guess what. I saw her the next morning at 9:00! I can’t image the schedules surgeons have but this one put my daughters before hers. I am forever thankful!

From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcomed. Every staff member I met was pleasant and kind. Dr. Capelle did a wonderful and professional job explaining things to me during my visit and before surgery. She made sure to check on me everyday after surgery in the hospital and thoroughly asked questions to insure my wellbeing. Weeks after my 6 week release, I started feeling pain and they immediately got me in to see Chelsea and Dr. Capelle stepped in to check on me. Through nothing they had done wrong, I had a small infection which was found out after having a CT scan. Chelsea called me the day of the scan at almost 10pm from her cell to give me the results and call me in an antibiotic because she knew I was very worried. She called again 4 days into medicine to check on me. They both went above and beyond to ease my mind and help me get better. I appreciate everything they did for me to help me get back to normal! Absolutely Love this place!!

Off… it’s been a while since I went here. I never went back after experiencing another doctor. If you have not been before, don’t go here as a first experience. There are odd habits from this doctor. Just off… after having an exam there was a strange conversation following. Unusual comments about my body unrelated to health, just a weird opinion? Idk. Their billing is also completely unprofessional. Might be okay? Just be… Cautious.

I have been a patient of Dr. Susan Capelle for approximately two years. During this time I have found the care I have received from Dr. Capelle superior in everyway. The office staff and nurses are compassionate and caring and the office environment is very pleasant. Throughout the time of my recent surgery I have felt I can call upon anyone in the office to answer my questions. During my pre and post op appointments, Dr. Capelle took the time to answer all my questions and concerns regarding my surgery. I feel I have made the best choice possible for my recent surgery as well as my continuing healthcare with Dr. Capelle .

Excellent! I was apprehensive going to someone new, away from my hometown. And when the appointment was made it was with someone other than the Doctor... 1 of the 3 Nurse Assistants. The waiting room is new and pretty. My wait time was short.I was even impressed not to have a paper gown to wear, or the usual hospital gown.My appointment was with Chelsea and she was kind, patient, understanding and most of all....knowledgeable and professional. She was able to accurately make a diagnosis and treatment plan for me that literally changed my life. I was so happy I hugged her!If I have any questions or concerns I can call and speak with her.I highly recommend this practice.

I have seen Chelsea Collins twice at Dr. Capelle’s office. At my first visit, I had a through exam. Chelsea took the time to listen to my concerns and suggest ways to resolve my health issues. Chelsea changed two medications at that time. Chelsea called me a few days after my initial visit to tell me the results of some testing that had been done in her office. I could actually feel the concern in her voice when she gave me the results. Since that time, I have made some positive changes in my life for my health. I just went back for my second visit. I told Chelsea that I am doing great with the changes she made in my medications. I highly recommend this office! Chelsea is the best! The entire staff is just great!

I was referred to Dr. Capelle from my gynecologist because I needed more extensive surgery than she was comfortable doing. From day one Dr. Capelle was so informative, confident that my surgery was something she has performed many many times, and that the outcome would be great. She was 100% correct. My surgery went off without a hitch, my recovery was so easy that I wondered why I had put it off so long. At my 6 week post op visit Dr. Cappelle said I was cleared to go, as everything was normal and I could go back to my every day routines. She doesnt need to see me again. She went to shake my hand goodbye when the office visit was over, however, I asked if I could give her a hug. I am so happy that I was referred to Dr.Capelle for my surgery. She more than deserves my 5 stars.

Okay so I was supposed to have a n appointment today but when I called and asked about copays and how much it would be, the receptionist was rude, and snippy when answering the questions so please be aware of that. Also they charge for canceling so beware of that

I have seen Dr Capelle a few times now and each experience has been great. She listens to the issues Im having. Makes me feel heard and really seeks to help with any issues I am having. Staff is super friendly as well.

RUN as fast as you can..I have been to this office for 3 visits.I have never been to a offfice with such a cold environment.All 3 xs receptionist was rude to me and others.My last visit a girl cked in , got up to go to the bathroom- receptionist yelled at her saying you cant go to the bathroom ,we need to collect a urine sample!!!I was embarrassed for the girl& just made me even more uncomfortable!!!.When the girl came to get me out of waiting area upstairs- dont know if shes a nurse- all 3xs no hello,no smile,just get on scales,do this do.I ask twice what my weight was,she just stared at me & refused to answer.1st time meeting Dr Capelle as I needed surgery.Ive seen the word snarky used toward her,I agree 100%. I know nothing about this type of surgery,she did not want to answer my ? Told me I was too nervous..asking ? = nervous wow thats new.She looked at my knee( I had replacement 4 yrs ago) and sd oh I wouldnt have done your surgery because you have too many ?.Why even bring that up??? Thanks but I have a competent,compassionate,kind,happy ortho Dr.I ask how long surgery wd take,she sd oh Im not a clock watcher??? What,everyone knows a surgeon gives you a ballpark time frame,& hello how else cd a hospital have a surgery schedule.Just so snide & uncalled for.Instead of answering pertinent?The lady that cks you out is super friendly & girl that schedules surgery,super nice.Yes,I scheduled my surgery,but decided to read reviews, thinking this Dr was just having a really bad day...but I saw others that had same horrible experience My former Dr over 25+ yrs had retired ,in that office everyone smiled,talked to you like a human,did everything to put you at ease no matter what your visit was for!! And noone likes having a discussion while your sitting naked on table with a gown big enough to fit 3 people.My prior Dr talked with you in seperate room fully clothed,then exam,dress back to private rm to discuss treatment etc.I have since found a wonderful Dr that talks with you prior to exam fully clothed.So ladies, dont settle,they try to make it look like a whole female staff is rhe way to go,females looking after females....everyone deserves to be respected,everyone deservrs a smile,everyone deserves appropriate answers.Think maybe this Dr has been doing this way too long,& getting by with her nastiness, retirement would be better for everyone

I’ve never encountered a more rude receptionist. I misunderstood the email regarding masks since it mentioned bringing your vaccine card. Immediately I was yelled at for not wearing a mask and I apologized for the misunderstanding and was treated like I was stupid because I didn’t see the sign on the door as I was walking in. She demanded that I email my vaccine record immediately and wouldn’t even let me sit down first, probably because she didn’t believe that I was actually vaccinated. I could hear her talking about me to another worker from behind the desk. I told myself in the waiting room I will never come back here but my gyno Rachel was so nice and friendly that I felt comfortable again. It’s such a shame that that is how you are greeted. Most people are nervous to go the gynecologist and she went out of her way to make my experience uncomfortable. Based off other reviews on their website it seems like she has an ongoing issue with being condescending and unfriendly and it needs to be addressed.

I usually dont write reviews, but I felt like I definitely needed to write this one. Ive had such terrible experiences in the past that I avoided seeing a doctor for a while. From long wait times to doctors not calling me back to follow up for weeks - I was just hoping for this to work out because I saw so many good reviews. I was able to book an appointment right away and barely waited 5 minutes before I was taken in. My NP, Jasmine Prudnick, was fantastic and very friendly! I will be definitely be seeing her from now on. She followed up with me the very next day and is on top of it. I will definitely be recommending her to my friends and colleagues from now on! :)

Dr. Capelle absolutely changed my life completely! After many years I finally no longer have to rely on TENA undergarments ... sometimes as many as 2 or 3 at a time. After my surgical procedure, I am free from having to wear any protective garments. Dr. Capelle and her staff were dedicated to getting me well and they did just that. Everyone in the office was kind, understanding, and encouraging. There simply arent words to express my sincere thanks and respect to Dr. Capelle and her staff for all they did to make my life tremendously better. I will forever be indebted to you! From the front desk to the surgical floor, Dr. Capelles practice is the epitome of efficiency, providing sincere, warm and friendly care. I was fortunate to have been referred to her practice, and equally fortunate to have been a candidate for her preferred method of treatment for my situation. Prior to surgery she provided a nonsurgical intervention to make life more comfortable while the date was set, allowing me to continue to function without pain or discomfort, physically as well as emotionally.Unlike some practices, there is immediate and accessible contact available with the office administrative staff as well as with the very experienced medical staff. Phone calls are answered or quickly returned, and questions are treated respectfully and patiently, with details clearly explained.Once prepping for surgery, I felt fully informed and at ease concerning the multiple procedures Dr. Capelle and her surgical staff would perform, as well as the expectations for recovery. (I might also mention that the surgical experience at Mon General was also very positive.) Her office reached out to me during recovery to make certain that things were going well.My rather complicated surgery was 100% successful, and I left the hospital with one nights stay. Recovery was on track and post-op visit confirmed all systems were go, literally and figuratively! Regardless of the outcome which can never be guaranteed, I felt confident that I had the best possible doctor for my particular needs.Dr. Capelles practice provides a much needed specialty in womens health, and it is a blessing to have her sharing her gifts here in the tri-state area.

I was sent to Dr Capelle via my PCP when I developed a sudden very serious condition (which ultimately required a couple surgeries). Upon my first visit, the staff was so concerned with my well being that after my appt, when I went to the car, I felt faint. When my husband went inside, moments later a very concerned Holly ran out to me in the parking lot, checked my BP, and made me eat (from her personal lunch box!). Dr Capelle fixed the pain issue first *during exploratory surgery, a nerve was impinged around a cyst. Then she fixed a more long term issue during a second procedure. Ive felt like a new woman for 3yrs now. I now see them for checkups, to schedule mammos etc. the ENTIRE staff is a group of women that make you feel comfortable. From the nurses to Dr Susan, each are professional, caring and funny girls that put you at ease during every procedure. Ive recommended a couple friends and each one loves the staff and how comfortable they make you feel.

The office of Dr. Susan Capelle is one of the most efficient offices I have been in. From the appearance of the beautiful office to the positive spirit between the courteous and attentive staff you would be hard pressed to find a better physician and office staff. Dr. Capelle has performed two surgeries for me and I can say without hesitation that I would highly recommend her.

Absolutely wonderful staff and beautiful office! The environment is very warm and welcoming. They make going to the doctors a stress-free experience. I feel very safe and comfortable here. I know if I ever have a question or concern, I can confidently go to them knowing they are ready to help. So happy to be under their care!

Apparently one hand doesnt know what the other is doing in this office.My daughter and I were both seen here; as we were looking for a compatent choice in healthcare.Theytold my daughter she had stage three cervical cancer (Fact, I heard it straight from the horses mouth myself). Because of the inter office lack of comunication and staffs inability to listen and understand their patients we asked for our records to be transferred to another facility.Its been over a year. The records were transferred but the new physician says the cancer results are not in the file. My daughter is very ill. The doctor either lied or covered it up.We are filing a malpractice suit. People that seek help place great trust in practitioners.In this office they are careless with patients and trust. BEWARE!

I took my 23 year old daughter to this Dr. Capelle . My daughter has vulvodynia, fibromyalgia and clinical depression. She has been suffering with incontinence of urine and leaking. We were so hopeful that she would get some help. She was talked to in a very condescending way and was told to go to the bathroom more often. My daughter told me she would never go back. My daughter deserves better treatment than that, she is a wonderful young lady who respects her mother and God. She had waited months to get in to see the Dr. as she was rescheduled twice so Dr. Capelle could go to meetings, We traveled 2 hours to get there and to be treated in that way was very disappointing. The receptionist was nice, she would get 5 stars.

I cant say enough about Dr. Cappelle and her staff (especially Mandy!!) She gave me the freedom to live my life again by listening and finding and fixing my problem. Two other doctors failed to find a tumor in the lining of my uterus which was causing me horrible pain and heavy bleeding. It was disrupting my daily life. I tell every woman I know about how wonderful and competent she is and now a number of my close friends and family make the trip out of town to see her as well! I have trusted her with my health for the last 5 years and I will continue to make the hour and a half trip from my house to get the best care that I have ever received. Thank you, Dr. Cappelle!!!

I would recommend this doctors office to anyone! I drive 3 hours for each appointment and will continue to. All of the doctors, nurses, assistants and office personnel are just absolutely amazing! The doctors really take the time to help you understand...they are so kind and informative. Ive struggled for over twenty years with Interstitial Cystitis and Endometriosis. I was going from doctor to doctor trying to find one that could understand both my urology and gynecology problems. When I found Dr. Capelles office it actually gave me hope that there was help and understanding of my situations and that I wasnt just another patient. They really care and want to help. I appreciate all they do and for making me feel like I matter as a patient. Thank you.

I’m a WVU student and I came here for a second opinion for a diagnosis that was originally wrong from the university’s services, and I was treated so well. Jasmine was so incredibly nice to me and also educated me as she examined me, she calmed my nerves so much, I have never had a medical professional treat me with so much kindness and respect which was so relieving after coming here from a bad experience with a wrong diagnosis. They are also very LGBT+ friendly and woman-led which made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this place to any woman in Morgantown or nearby.

Great physician and great staff. Dr. Capelle and her staff are exceptional. Each person that I have interacted with has always taken time to explain every aspect of my care . I highly recommend this office.

Im very happy with this place. Today was my first time there and everyone were very professional and Kind, Kristen Carpenter and the Nurse Adrienne, made me feel very comfortable, they took time to know me and the place looks so clean and the staff super friendly. Im recommend this place, The best in Morgantown. Was successful!
