AFC Urgent Care Mooresville, NC

It’s never too long of a wait.. always clean and neat inside. Dr. Brain is wonderful! Very nice staff. Very welcoming environment. Took great care of my little one in such a short time 😊 thank you all!!

Great. I have been to AFC several times now. Each time has been a pleasant experience. I feel that I am heard and well taken care of. I appreciate the care and compassion. Typically you do not get this type of service at an urgent care.The staff are amazing! They are ALL so very friendly and helpful.

Love this urgent care!! Support staff is thorough and fast, as well as the providers. Brian Jammel and staff are wonderful about following up after the appointment. They also offer an “insurance plan” that is a reasonable monthly payment. I can’t think of any negatives!!

PA Jammel was excellent. Heard my concerns and formed a quick plan for me. Wait time was a little much and didn’t know I could have made an appointment ahead of time with the Solv app, nothing on the website or google about that. My family and I will always go to this urgent care because of the PA excellent care. The rest of the staff was very friendly and very thoughtful offering everyone bottled waters.

It was a very pleasant experience for an unpleasant reason to be there. Everyone was friendly which is especially nice when you’re not feeling your best. The provider was professional, friendly and sensitive to my needs. She listened and we agreed on a course of treatment together based on my comfort level. I was so appreciative!

Doctors and nurses were kind, personable and empathetic. All staff were knowledgeable and they even called to see how I was doing. This was my 2nd visit in a week, 2 different nurses and the same Dr. All in all, great experience.

Both of my kids have been here before and they have done a great job with them (ages 4 and 7 at the time). Yesterday was the first time I had to go. I injured my finger in a door slam and needed some assistance. The PA Brian and his medical assistant Amber did a wonderful job helping me out. Whoever was working the front desk (I didn’t catch her name) was very kind and helpful as well. The team was wonderful and I absolutely would go back if I needed help again.

The website was user friendly to make an appointment and fill out my paperwork before my scheduled visit. The wait time was kind of long, but the staff was friendly and took their time with each encounter. Including the nurse and doctor! I don’t mind waiting for good service, I highly recommend going here for medical attention.

10/10 experience. We were seen quickly. The medical assistant was kind, knowledgeable, and so caring!Brian Jammel, PA. provided us with PHENOMENAL service. He investigated our child’s rash and spent nearly 30 minutes with us working through the cause. He was honest about what he knew and didn’t know, was compassionate and caring, and most importantly he did a great job of explaining everything in a way we could understand.

I was very pleased with my first visit to AFC Urgent Care. I was seen quickly. The staff were friendly and considerate. My medical issue was successfully diagnosed and treated. I was charged a reasonable amount for my visit. I will definitely return if or when I need urgent medical care.

Very good experience with them, painless setup with the paperwork since it was my first time there. I would recommend them to anyone. I believe my time there was less than 45 minutes total and wasnt rushed through explaining my symptoms. I could tell the doctor actually listened to me and didnt hold back from telling me possibilities for what Im going through and what to look out for. I like that he was honest with me about how serious my diagnosis could be.

I was having an allergic reaction and shortness of breath. The ladies at AFC took me right into triage and advised the provider! I was glad they were so attentive. When the provider Brian Jammel came in he saw my reaction, listened to me, and advised me of my options. I was treated right away. It was nice to feel cared for. I will definitely be returning here in the future! This is my new Urgent Care!

Great experience. One of the best Urgent Care visits ever. Especially on vacation. To get in and out in under an hour at an urgent care is almost unheard of. Very sweet lady at the reception desk and Dr was great. 5 stars!

I had a nice experience here. From the front desk person being very helpful to the staff doing a nice job. They were able to help me check in online and estimate a wait time, diagnose and do X-rays with in an hour or so from arrival to discharge. Very appreciative.

Ive used AFC Urgent Care Mooresville a few times. Its the only one I use now for myself or children when needed. They have always greeted us with a smile and politeness! Which is rare to experience in most places these days, So very appreciative of that. They are quick getting you in and out every time Ive been there. Definitely deserves all 5 stars. Thank you!

Dr. Stephen was awesome! Not all docs are created equally and not all urgent cares actually care. He is one of the good ones and I’d definitely return to this establishment for our families medical needs in the future. The front desk staff, as well as the nurse who took my vitals were all very welcoming and helpful!

Dr. Gracie and Dr. Brian were incredible. They’re caring and were really kind. My daughter loved the visit, thank you for serving us today. ♥️

F-NP Stephen Lapham and his staff are wonderful here! We have always received very thorough care each time we’ve been. They are quick and efficient and always treat the individual patient’s needs. I feel like they really listen to every concern, every single time. Would highly recommend.

It was quickest registration process as any doctor’s office, clean and spacious. Saw the doctor within minutes and out the door with a solution to my issue in under an hour

Ive been to AFC quite a few times now & see Stephen. He has the absolute best bedside manners. Hes kind, thorough & brings me a sense of relief each time... The gals up front & Tammy the nurse are lovely also....thank you all ☺️

Doc didnt know what the issue was with my knee pain, I appreciated him being honest and upfront about it. He suggested going to the ER to do an ultrasound to check for blood clots because he could only do an X-Ray.I went to the ER where the doc said it makes very little sense to do an ultrasound because it looks nothing like a blood clot. Instead he suggested taking some steroids for a few days, and if it doesnt get better see a specialist. So thats the plan now. Day 2, my knee is already feeling much better.I just wish the AFC doc would have offered the X-Ray on-site to ensure there is nothing broken or arthritis, and gave me a steroid prescription, all that himself. It would have spared me hours at the ER and a $500 ER bill. What ended up being a simple matter turned into a whole afternoon lost and a lot of money spent :/Nothing malicious, I understand it was a judgement call and they cant always be spot on. The result wasnt good for me this time, but in spite of that I will probably be back. Every other aspect was great.

Wait time was minimal. Ladies at intake were friendly. The nurse was very friendly and prompt. The Dr was the same and took his time with us and answered all of our questions. Will definitely come here again when necessary.

The care there was excellent I was able to get the stuff to make my son feel better we were seen in a fair amount of time for a busy walk in.

Had been battling flu like symptoms for 3 days and finally booked an appt time. Was in and out within 30 mins and I didn’t feel rushed in any way. The doctor was very attentive, listened, asked questions and gave me his recommendations.  Hopefully I won’t need to be back but if I do, I’m going back to this place! Would highly recommend.

Everyone we had contact with was very nice. The Dr was very kind with my 13 year old and made sure he felt comfortable during the visit.

This urgent care is always quick, and the doctors are very knowledgeable. I bring my kids, ages 6 and 9, and they always receive the utmost care. Ive been coming to this location for a year because its hard to get appointments with their primary care doctor. Every visit, the care is consistently excellent. I wish the doctors here could be their primary care providers, as they receive better care here than anywhere else.

This is the second time I’ve been to AFC and both experiences were great. The staff is friendly and they try to get you seen fast. Very nice people and super clean facility.

Doctor had to be fresh out of the classroom. I must have been his 1st patient. He was a joke!!! I don’t recommend. I think he got his license @ a flea market!!! ⭐️ is overrated!!

They took me last second and were able to stitch my foot in probably the hardest place possible to stitch. Brian took good care of me and I recommend them to anyone in the area that needs care!

I was greeted promptly and seen by a nurse and physician within a few minutes. They diagnosed me and prescribed a Rx. The entire staff was friendly and the office was clean and comfortable.

Brian & Angela were amazing. Brian goes out of his way to make you feel like you’re the only patient in the building. He really listens & pays attention to all your questions & concerns. He goes over your treatment plan and makes sure you are comfortable before you leave. Hands down BEST Urgent Care I’ve ever been too.

We once again had a wonderful experience at AFC Mooresville. Dr Jammel was amazing!! He is honestly one of the best doctors we have been to. My daughter went to a doctor while away at college and they ran a covid/flu test (which was negative) and that was it. The next day she came home and I took her to AFC. This doctor didn’t stop until he figured out what was wrong with her!! He did the same thing for my son a few weeks ago. I definitely recommend Dr Jammel to everyone (especially if you have been sick and struggling to find answers)! I never take the time to write reviews but this Doctor is so deserving!!

The staff was great and the diagnosis was spot on. I was in sever pain and with in3to 4 hours my pain was greatly diminished and is near none today. Thanks

Went in with a bad cold I couldn’t shake. Tonsillitis and fatigue and a cough. The Dr. ruled out strep and prescribed a 6 day regimen of steroids. Just one day in and I’m feeling so much better.

I have been at this location for my husband and now for myself. I am overwhelmed with appreciation for their professionalism kindness ,patience and care for us both no matter what our health concern is.It starts from the moment you walk in the door.

My experience with the staff, nurse and doctor was very positive! The doctor was very understanding and listened and cared about my concerns. I was very happy about this facility!

I went in yesterday for a possible bug bite/poison ivy boil. First off, those walls are not HIPPA compliant. I could hear EVERYTHING the doctor and patient were saying the next room through the wall. The doctor, who was a PA-C, so not a doctor, told the person her infant child would need an antibiotic and a steroid (this comes in later). He comes into my room next and looks at the spot and immediately jumps to MRSA. I suggest a bug bite/poison ivy and he said it could be that too. Then goes on to tell me he can poke the boil to drain it, or he could not, whatever I wanted to do. After some circling, he contradicted himself 2 minutes later saying not to pop it at all because risk of infection. This man then proceeds to give me prescriptions for 2 antibiotics, prednisone, and an ointment (what he had just prescribed an infant in the room next door). I would have had respect for him if he said he genuinely did not know what was going on. He did not take a culture to further investigate which, now that I have researched MRSA, should have been done. He basically told me we could treat this however I wanted to. I come to a medical professional to get answers and steps to get better. This man did neither of those and did not care to dig further/ refer me out to provide best care. MRSA could be life threatening, and this man did not care to take informed action or reference ethics. I will not be returning. The rest of the staff were nice.

They were very efficient, informative and accommodating. Walked in without an appointment and they took care of me relatively quickly and were able to provide the best options and recommendations to help me resolve my issue. Highly recommend!

I returned from Vacation and did a self Covid test and felt so terrible that I immediately went to the  urgent care center. The staff were all kind and helpful and helped me check in as they saw that I was not feeling well and I needed assistance. I really appreciated that because I was not thinking at my best.Brian Jammel saw me and was very empathetic to me getting Covid. He recommended Paxlovid and said this would immediately help with the symptoms and make me feel better. He offered a prescription card through Pfizer and said there were times insurance didn’t cover the medication and to use this card if I needed it. I really appreciated this because I would not of had the funds to pay out-of-pocket for that medication. As it turned out I needed the card as my insurance did not cover it. So thank you so much for that. Brian was very caring and made sure I didn’t have any questions before I left and took very good care of me.  I would recommend this  urgent care.

This place is amazing! I had a rough winter and found myself in this urgent care a few times for different illnesses. The staff is always amazing, the wait is never long and they get me on the road to recovery every time. So that is all amazing… but today I stopped in because I needed detailed receipts from two of my visits because the EOB from insurance didn’t match the charges to my flex spending account. The woman at the front desk was able to graciously and politely help me out! AMAZING customer service! No need to call a billing department, she had all the information I needed and was fast and efficient while not making me feel like I was a nuisance. I wish I would have gotten her name- she is a gem… but honestly, I have never had a negative experience with anyone in this clinic! THIS is what healthcare should look like!

Check in staff were friendly and helpful. Seen within 10 minutes. Brian the PA did a great job assessing and treatment. Feeling much better within by the next morning. Thank you!

I appreciate this urgent care, Instead of them just telling you everything is ok, the doctor actually take his time and examine, test and listen to you. The doctor nurse and staff oare nice. I most definitely would recommend them!!!!

It was good. I was seen quickly & not rushed out. Got prescriptions for bronchitis & they called those in for me. I’ll go there again. Hopefully not too soon!

Great, quick, and family-friend. PA Brian did a great job of our 6-year-old when severe dock splinters were too deep and painful for us to take care of. Super grateful to the staff for this quick, attentive service. Families (especially those from out of town and unsure where to go) can trust this place.

Have been going to another urgent care in town that I was not happy with…happened upon afc and could not be happier!…from the girl at the front desk to the girl who does the pre work in the room to the dr it was a great experience!…I have found my new urgent care for future needs!

As always, the care my kids receive here is above and beyond. I actually prefer to go here than their regular pediatrician. The staff is always friendly, my kids give me no problems going here and the service is always in and out. Best of all I can schedule ahead of time, even if it’s 30 minutes before. AND they are open on the weekends. I’m convinced not everyone knows about this little hidden gem. I will continue going here when needed. I’ve been doing so for over a year now.

0 star review. Went in to get my son a tetanus only shot. I confirmed this on my intake paperwork, told the medical records person and spoke to the doctor telling her we only wanted the tetanus shot NOT the combo shot.They understood and agreed. The nurse came into the room and gave him the shot.We waited for the discharge papers to find out my son was given the wrong vaccine.When I asked why it said TDAP they said that’s just what the tetanus shot is called. I asked the nurse to confirm with the doctor.They came back and said they were wrong he was not given tetanus only and he was given TDAP.I’m upset as this is not what I asked for or told that he was to be given.Totally incompetent to inject children with medicine the parent did not consent or agree to!

We were visiting from out of town when my son got a bad ear infection. It was a holiday but they were able to see us immediately with no wait time. The doctor and staff were friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend !

Woke up this morning not feeling too well. After a full day of a sore throat and minimal sleep I thought it would be beneficial to get swabbed for strep. Staff was extremely caring and compassionate. Stephen, the NP was also outstanding in his quality of care. He was attentive to detail and well spoken. The office itself is very clean, smells wonderful, and above all else, I was in and out quickly so I could finish out my daily tasks. Definitely recommend!

I checked in online, staff was great, and it only took minutes after registration to be taken back, and the doctor didnt take long to see me. He was knowledgeable and the treatment helped. Its very clean in there, and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend

AFC urgent care’s are so good for medicine. They use a franchise model which allows physicians to practice medicine they way they want to without the same challenges of their own private practice.One thing to note is to ask about their pricing/billing tiers. Some treatment falls into different bands than others. This goes for all doctor’s appointments. Make sure to find out if a cash pay vs using your insurance is more cost effective.I did not understand this. And I was not pleased. This location deserves a 5 star. First for their providers are thorough and figure out a comprehensive personalized treatment plan. Then second for their administrative follow up. They followed up to see how I was doing and also to explain in detail their billing.

The wait was short, everyone was very friendly. My baby had a cold and they did as many tests as possible to rule everything out. FYI this is my text from the facility regarding my pre-booked visit:Time slots are for pre-registration paperwork, and NOT appointments. Patients are seen in the order that they walk in.

AFC urgent care is great and the employees are very kind. I have been there twice now and have not encountered any issues with anything. They got me and my daughters in and out. The N.P. and Doctors were very informative and when I asked them to write a note for each of my daughters schools they did it no problem. I use to go to Piedmont Urgent Care but they are temporarily closed and I didn’t have that great of an experience there. Needless to say it was time to find another urgent care that I could bring my kids to or go if I needed to be seen. I love the app and you can even see your place in line which is fantastic! I will be going back to AFC but hopefully not to soon in the near future because then that means that someone at home isn’t 100% health wise. Thank you 🙏 AFC urgent care you guys are great! 😁

Absolutely fabulous visit. I was easily able to do all check in info online, including appointment time and adding all insurance info. I walked in to a very clean facility with super friendly front office staff. My appointment was on time, both the nurse and physician were very attentive and knowledgeable. I received the treatment I needed and was in my was in a timely manner. I would highly recommend.

My experience was great.Longest part was getting checked in.im not good with that stuff.next time I will do paper.the staff was very helpful, friendly athe LP was super.He was very caring and compleat,he was in no rush to push me through.I have used this place once before and will definitely recommend it and use it again.

This is my fourth time using AFC Urgent Car in Mooresville and I am always pleased with the care I receive there. The staff is very helpful and they are always able to get me in quickly. I will continue to use and recommend them in the future.

I was poked in the eye, playing hockey with my grandson. I needed to be looked at, and felt there was no way that I could get in on a Saturday. Boy, was I wrong!! I was able to get in, and the paperwork process was simple and easy. Everyone at the Urgent Care were super nice, and helpful. The Doctor was very knowledgeable, and explained what was happening with my eye. Luckily it was only a scratch, and I was prescribed some drops and a referral to an ophthalmologist if things didn’t improve. I highly recommend this place!!

I broke my toe and had minimal wait time upon arrival! Entire staff was considerate of my needs and very helpful!!! I received a follow-up call a few days later from staff that was actually checking on me, this was very unexpected but appreciated!Great facility!!!!

I have been dealing with symptoms for a few days  I finally decided to get immediate care at my local American family urgent care.i checked in online which made the check in process easy. I was greeted with a warm smile by Gracie. She took my vitals and assisted me where I needed   Dr Hurd is incredibly attentive. She took so much time with me. This was my first visit. I found a new urgent care home. ♥️

The group was so pleasant and helpful and the doctor I seen was better than my normal doctor highly recommended this facility

First time walk-in and getting scheduled was quick and easy.  From reception check-in to check-out, the staff was courteous and seemed to care about patient service. Their process was probably the smoothest and most efficient I’ve experienced and affordable for a self-pay patient. Attending, Brian, was very polite and professional. I would definitely recommend this location.

From the front office to the medical staff, we were treated to the upmost level of care that made us feel comfortable.

Appointment time is for check in only. Waited 50 minutes to go back and see doctor. Asked nurse for flu shot and she wasn’t sure if they had them but didn’t follow up

Overall, I felt that they did a good job for me. I already knew that I had Covid when I entered but, I was processed fairly efficiently and given a scrip for Paxlovid, which has helped dramatically.

Highly recommend! Our first time to bring our son here and we were impressed. The waiting time is not long. The receptionist and nurse are both extremely nice. PA Brian is very kind, knowledgeable and caring. We will definitely come back here!

Quality care today. . Administration was knowledgeable and helpful and accommodating. Nursing staff was patient and efficient. Nurse practitioner on staff was kind, attentive and professional. The radiology staff was professional and kind. The facility was clean and safe. Thanks for making our visit uneventful and comfortable.

Was looking for a rapid Covid test for travel/wedding attendance in August and they were the only place I could get into same day. They were quick and friendly. Providers were thorough and explained everything. Great experience from front desk check in until checkout!Returned yesterday for sick visit and was just as happy with service. Would definitely recommend!!Update 4/17/22My husband and I visited on Easter morning with symptoms of sinus infections. Very thorough exam and questioning of symptoms. Tested for Covid, flu and strep and ruled them all out. Antibiotics prescribed.Friendly, wonderful staff. Would certainly go again. Open 7 days a week.Update 9/23/22Woke with fever, cough and headache. Got right in. Flu and COVID tested (negative) Doctor was thorough, friendly and kind. Diagnosed with sinus infection and medication prescribed.Always friendly staff and physicians. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.Another visit - 8/5/24Just got back from a Mediterranean vacation and woke up sick.  Popped in at 8am and was seen nearly immediately.  Staff is always so friendly and caring.  AFC Mooresville is my go to anytime I am sick even though I have a local physician for routine stuff.  Would highly recommend!Well - here I am again 8/24/24 because I got bit by a dog. Saw same doc as 2 weeks ago but a different receptionist and nurse - both super nice. Took great care of me and made me feel better. Love this place - still 5 ⭐️

We were a walk in for my son and we were seen and he was taken care of right away. The Dr explained everything and was friendly.

The entire staff- nurses and the doctor we met were incredible. My three year old struggles at doctor places any where, he freaks out and gets sad. But not once was he sad he responded so well to the nurse we had and the doctor (male) was so calm and made the whole situation easy! Loved that there were tvs in rooms for entertainment and the lobby was clean just thankful for this!

I used the pre-registration feature which was super convenient, you can check in online and pick a time slot. The app also allows you to check the wait times. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The Nurse Practitioner that saw me was very thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. I had a very pleasant experience.

I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care and service my son and I received at AFC. My son had been unwell for days, and despite our best efforts, he wasnt getting better. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, the experience was truly exceptional.I must commend the medical assistant, Gracie, for her outstanding kindness, gentleness, and wonderful bedside manner with my child. Her approach was a breath of fresh air, and her compassionate care made a world of difference. This was my third visit to AFC, and each time has been consistently great.I highly recommend AFC to anyone in need of prompt, professional medical care. When I checked in the nurse was very unfriendly and told me there would be an exceptionally long wait - even though there was no one else in the waiting room. She told me that even though I booked an appointment that didn’t matter as I was alerted to that as part of the process of online booking and had been also texted that information - all of which was not true. I asked if I could leave and come back and she said I was confirmed as checked in and could come back.I went back 45 minutes later - still no other patients in the waiting room and another nurselooked up my name, had me check in - which clearly I wasn’t as the first nurse had told me, and then made me pay a fee even though my insurance covered the visit. I was seen immediately. I’m from out of town and didn’t want to dispute anything as I have a sinus infection and really just needed to see a doctor, so I paid the fee. I guess after trying to be rude and push off my appointment didn’t work they made me pay rather than bill out to my insurance.It was an unpleasant experience with a very rude and almost nasty nurse who gives the profession a bad name.

My 7 year old daughter has been seen there 5 times this year. We went for her physical for camp, influenza A, impetigo , an ear infection, and today, conjunctivitis. The staff is exceptional! Doctors are extremely knowledgeable and have a great bedside manner. They are compassionate and take the time to answer any questions or concerns. As an RN, I can confidently say AFC Urgent Care provides high quality healthcare. We won’t be going anywhere else! I highly recommend them for all non emergent medical needs for the entire family. My daughter is now 9, we have continued to go here, and continued to receive the highest quality of care. We appreciate the wonderful team of professionals which makes AFC Urgent Care the #1 place to go!!!Another update…. My daughter has an ear infection. Probably from swimming in Lake Norman frequently. Brian, the PA, diagnosed and treated her promptly. He gave detailed education to her using objects in the room so she could see and understand the ear canal, parts, where the infection was located, how and why the inflammation was causing her specific symptoms.He also chose to prescribe an ear drop with an antibiotic/steroid combo to combat the infection and swelling as quickly as we could! I sat in this room for over an hour never got seen and I went in for an x-ray on my knee. This place is horrible. I do not recommend it.

The staff is amazing! I have been to this place many times and have never been disappointed. They are all so caring and Dr.Jammel goes above and beyond to explain everything and make you feel really cared for.

We are from out of town and needed care at 7:30 at night for a possible ear drum rupture for my 21 yo son. The staff was caring and the attending dr was awesome. They did have to stay late, but we are grateful. A family member overheard the nurse say, “I’m so glad we took him. He looked like he was in so much pain.” He was and I’m thankful for the treatment we received!

I was experiencing a lot of pain in my ears. I went in and the waiting was only about 5 mins. I went back and the nurse was very kind. The doctor came in and looked in both my ears and was about to tell me what was going on. Dr.Ashley is great and so is the rest of the staff. I strong recommend anyone in need of care go to AFC.

Moved here from Florida 18 months ago and this was the first time I needed to use Urgent Care and was happy to find it was 100 times better than Florida. Appointments were on time, staff was friendly and showed concerned with my injury. Will use again if needed.

Theyre so caring and prompt here! Another urgent care wasnt going to be able to see a walk in until almost 3 hours later, they got us checked in and back within 30 minutes, maybe? On a never before seen patient. They also were so caring to my young daughter. They listened to her, as well as me, and even got her a referral the same day, for an ENT! They worked fast for that on her! They knew immediately what she needed, and even told me to call them should I have any more concerns. She has a pediatrician. But getting a last minute sick visit isnt easy. I will always choose AFC for my urgent care! When sickness or an ear infection comes out of nowhere and you cant get in with your regular doctor, its so nice to have somewhere with such professionalism, and fast work! They are definitely on top of their game at AFC in Mooresville! I couldnt have been more pleased! My baby is home, with her medicine, and sleeping (healing), all because they worked so hard and were so quick with her care. Quick in the best way! I am so grateful for AFC Urgent Care! Truly. Thank you to all the staff there that helped to take care of my little girl, getting her home to feel better, and fast!

Staff is beyond Stellar. I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care in Mooresville. They provided such care and attention towards my grandson. Everyone ensured he was comfortable. I also very much appreciated the doctor assisting me with carrying my grandsons belongings to the car. Ive never experienced this level of grand service. They receive 10 stars in my book.

Seen in a reasonable amount of time by a very experienced PA and staff. My second visit this year for different issues.

Second great experience. Quick care and I felt the Dr. knew exactly what was wrong and treated it accordingly. There was no guessing and I didn’t have to walk out of there feeling like I’d be back in a couple days just to get some help. Great and quick urgent care center that really cares.

While in town for an athletic event, my daughter broke her leg. We went to an urgent care across from this one and had a horrible experience. We left and ended up at AFC and had such a great experience. They were efficient and friendly. They got us back right away and had x-rays done almost immediately. They even helped us schedule same day follow up care with an orthopedist. The entire staff was great! Thank you for providing such great care!

No one likes to go to the Doctor, but when you have to go it’s nice to have kind, knowledgeable, and efficient people there to get you through it. I went to AFC at night on a Friday and had a positive interaction with everyone there. The Nurses are warm, calm, and reassuring. They definitely knew what they were doing and were quick about it, because they know that at the end of it all you still just wanna go home. Thanks to everyone there for being open for those of us who work later than 5pm and still being wonderful, hard-working people who are great at their job. I truly appreciate you!!

We brought our 10 year old here while on vacation and were seen by the PA, Brain Jammel. He was thorough and very professional. He prescribed a treatment that we were comfortable with and let us know the days he would be in in case we needed to follow up by phone. Highly recommend for anyone in need of urgent care!

I felt very good about my visit. They got me in and evaluated in a timely manner. I had to have some blood work which took a bit of time but they let me know that was the case. As I waited they checked on me and offered water. Then once the tests were completed they came back in and got me my prescription and explained how to take it. What more could I ask for? Very professional and respectful of my time. I recommend.

I had taken a fall at home and realized I might be more injured than I thought. The folks at AFC Urgent Care were wonderful when I went in to be examined. I had broken two fingers and they cared for me. I’ll come again.

Everyone was Kind, helpful. Came in with an injury to my hand that needed stitches and walked in without my wallet and phone as it was an emergency. They helped me figure out my insurance and called my GP to get information needed. Physician was kind and friendly. I am very satisfied

Great service and care for our kids. Both kids went there today and were seen quickly but the provider took plenty of time to understand and evaluate. They are by far our favorite urgent care in Mooresville.

The doctor and staff did a great job for me with virtually no wait on Memorial Day. Very pleased with the service.

I went to get sports physicals done for 2 of my kids. They were inexpensive, so I paid cash instead of using insurance. There was no long wait. Both of my kids were seen at the same time. If my family ever needs urgent care, this is where youd find us.

The team was very attentive. The NP listened well and had great advice. He prescribed a new medication I had not heard of. I was much better in no time!

My son won’t let me take him to any other clinic when he has an injury. Brian is fantastic. Thank you to the entire staff for a smooth and pleasant visit every time we come.

Me and my son did a walk in for a sports physical and the receptionist was great and all they did was send a link, I clicked on it and filled out paperwork (very easy) went in back the medical assistant checked over the paperwork to be filled out after weighing and measuring and giving eye test. The Doc. came in , a very cool female Dr. checked him out we had a breif friendly conversation and we were on our way. It was like 25..00 bucks for physical . Not a person in the place so we were in and out.

I had a great experience at this urgent care. I had a little mishap on the mountain bike, needed stitches quick, and my wife found this location on my way home. The front desk, nurse, and doctor were great. I also got right to the back when I arrived. Very highly recommended!

I have used this location twice and both times have been exceptional. From the front desk staff, to the easy check in process by phone, the nurse in the back who was so courteous especially not when your not feeling well. The Dr is amazing...so sweet and takes her time with you. I am so thankful for them all!

Wow! Such nice people! I had to have a DOT physical last minute and they took care of me. I am so glad that the place I went before I ended up at AFC, stopped taking physicals at 4PM. Everyone was Awesome from the front desk to the doctor!

This was the first time I have met a doctor in North Carolina who not only listened to me, but actually took steps to make me feel better. I highly recommend this facility --the receptionist and the doctor, in particular, were kind and helpful.

Saturday 6/10/2023 morning. Went in with back pains. Entire staff were great and the place is clean and bright. Dr. Brian diagnosed the problem exactly. He suggested a CT to be 100% sure and his diagnosis was right on. Thank you to the entire staff there this morning. On line registration was easy and helpful. Thank you.

Friendly & helpful staff. So quick! I looked at Atrium urgent care wait times (over 5 hours for several locations) but with such long waits I decided to keep looking. I’m glad I did. I was in & out very quickly. Maybe 30 minutes total. I hope I don’t have to go back anytime soon, but I would definitely come back to this office, if needed. Highly recommend!

These guys are always so nice but tonights visit was above and beyond!! I showed up fairly close to closing time (not realizing it was that close) with my son and they did not skip a beat! Tonia was my angel that I needed at that moment. She knew where I was and had the right words!! Kendall, Tosha and Dr. Jammel was also so nice and kind. They could tell I was obviously upset with my sons injury and made me feel so much better by just being nice even after we kept them there late!! Thank you for the fantastic service! We had a great experience at AFC from the check-in, to the nurse and the doctor. Everyone was friendly and spoke to my son in a caring way. The office and example rooms were clean and set up well. I was pleasantly surprised and highly recommend!

Dr. Montgomery was fantastic. Brought my 4 year old daughter in with a cut. He and his team were very calm and supportive to help keep my little girl calm as well. Will always come back here when in a pinch. Wait times are usually very brief and care is quick and efficient so you are not spending your entire day there.

Wait time was over an hour but I got to stay in my car which was nice. Once inside - everything was pretty efficient. My only complaint is they put the burden of filling my prescription on me instead of them calling it in…they said there was a shortage in drugs and I needed to call around to see if it was in stock at the pharmacy….not impressive nor fun for a super sick person…..was not efficient- just delayed me getting my medicine/relief….Dr Hurd was super awesome!

Front office and nurses were awesome I made an appointment prior to coming in to reserve the time I checked in and loved that we waited in our vehicle to be called back. The nurse was so kind to my child and got the vitals needed promptly. The Doctor came in after the test results were received he was swift with his diagnosis and sent us on our way.

Went in after suffering through the weekend with a sore throat. I got in right away with very minimal waiting. The nurses were so thorough and took two different tests to rule out COVID and strep and when they came out negative, they still had an answer for me and a solution. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and the atmosphere was so pleasant. I would definitely recommend their services.

I took my granddaughter to AFC Urgent Care in Mooresville, NC and it was a great experience. They informed us when we first walked in that there would be an hour 1/2 wait which ended up being 45 min. which was great. Stefan was amazing. He gave her a covid, strep and mono test and was very good with a young adult. Dr. Montgomery was also great. She explained everything to us and we left very happy. I would highly recommend this facility.

Dr Montgomery is the best provider we have ever seen. I can’t say enough good things about his level of service, Knowledge and care. I brought my two year old in just before closing- dr Montgomery took his time, explained everything to me and let my son (who really dislikes doctor visits) listen to his own heart beat. I am so thankful for his care.

My first time here! It’s good to have things flow easily, especially when you don’t feel well!! From the front desk to the triage nurse, to the physician, 100% professional! Top notch facility!

All staff were very friendly and upbeat. Dr. Montgomery was our physician, and we felt that she was competent. Nobody likes to be in the position of needing to go to the urgent care, but if that need arises, this is the place to come.

Great Experience! The staff was was wonderful, friendly even though they were busy, especially during Covid. They had everyone wait in their cars so there wasn’t a bunch of sick people in a waiting area with others. Even though they mentioned I should of went to the hospital for my laceration they gave me the best care possible. Dr. Hurd was great and so was the nurse (very calming, personable). The facility was super clean and only had to wait about an hour to be seen. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Emmett Montgomery and the nursing staff. I wish I caught my nurses name! She was incredibly kind and showed me such compassion during a difficult visit with my son. Dr Montgomery was exceptional. I never expected such an attentive, thorough and kind doctor at an urgent care. I wish he could be our pediatrician! I’ve never received care this good before. He also followed up to check on our son. I’m just blown away. AMAZING! I won’t be nervous to take my kids or self to an urgent care ever again. I didn’t know this level of service existed at urgent cares.
