Dr. Swing is a brilliant doctor. I never feel rushed during my appointments. She takes ample time to examine me and discuss my needs and concerns. The staff is very kind and attentive as well. I never have a long wait time for my appointment. I am 45 years old, and ever since I started my hormone replacement therapy a few years ago I have much more energy, better sleep and less mood swings. We are so lucky to have a physician of her caliber in the greater New Orleans area. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Swing is an incredible doctor who is so knowledgeable and caring. She has helped me so much with navigating the hormone replacement decisions to make after menopause and I feel better than I ever have!! Her office staff is wonderful too. I have been seeing Dr. Swing for almost one year and I can truly say making the decision to see her was the best decision I could have made for my life. I was struggling. I called this office today after getting a recommendation from Dr. Mary Claire Haver’s “New Menopause” group.I took time to read about Dr. Swing on her website where there are two “request appointment” buttons on the main page. I took time to check my insurance website to make sure she was in network since it says on her website to check with your insurance before calling (instead of posting a list of accepted insurance like some drs). United healthcare website noted she was “accepting all patients”.Yet… I call and politely request an appt and some unhelpful telephone gatekeeper tells me flatly that the doctor isn’t accepting new patients. Ok, understand. Can gatekeeper recommend any other doctor who might be helpful with perimenopause issues? This gatekeeper unapologetically tells me “no” and that “anyone else they would recommend isn’t taking new patients”.I see new patients here in the comments so I’m not sure what is going on. If you really aren’t accepting new patients maybe make a note on your website so women don’t waste our precious time? Or have a short list of quality physicians that the phone gatekeeper can give out?

The doctor was professional and kind. Their administrative office is not knowledgeable. They told me that they accepted my insurance when they do not. I was given an attitude and told “It was ultimately my responsibility.” But, I got the number from BCBS, their office verified they accepted my insurance. How is this my fault? It seems Dr.Swing may have discounted her services, but it’s still not affordable for me. Causing a great deal of unnecessary stress.

Dr. Katherine Swing is exceptional, she listens attentively to all of my concerns, provides personalized treatment which has given me positive results. I absolutely adore her and her staff!!! They are always happy to see you, are extremely professional and make you feel comfortable being there from the minute you walk in until you leave.

Dr Katherine Swing is not only professional but kind and beyond knowledgeable in every aspect of HRT. She has been my doctor for 15 years and is the absolute best at what she does.

BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS BEWARE!!!!!Another scam hormone shop. I specifically said I cannot take hormones since I had breast cancer. Her admin continued to sell (oversell) a hormone membership plan. She rattled off prices in the thousands.This is not a doctor treating patients! It’s a shady business scamming women who are desperate for relief.They are pushing hormones on women who had hormone positive breast cancer. Completely irresponsible and predatory!

Dr. Swing is great physician, I’ve been seeing her consistently for some years now. She is a wealth of information on Women’s wellness. If you are looking for an OBGYN and someone who cares about women’s health on greater level I would strongly recommend her!

This office was an absolute nightmare to work with. Will not bill insurance directly nor will they provide the patient with the necessary information needed to submit an out-of-network claim. Asked me to have the insurance company call directly for the required info, but would not provide the information to the insurance company rep either. To be completely honest, this place felt like a scam.

If youre going just for hormone therapy only, youll need to pay a $350 consult fee and yearly membership fee that adds up to 1800.00. I am sure she is a wonderful doctor, just thought I would add this info to save some time for those who are looking. Insurance will likely cover some of the lab work but all else is out of pocket.

Dr Swing is wonderful. She takes time to listen and explains everything. Staff is terrific as well.

Ive been under Dr. Swings care for over 10 years or better. My experiences with Dr. Swing and staff is always efficient and time sensitive. She addresses appointment concerns directly and gets results fast. My last pregnancy was high risk and she was immediately available to address any concerns and having to unexpectedly deliver at 34 weeks, I couldnt be more thankful for her outstanding care.

Dr. Katherine Swing is the best OB/GYN I’ve ever had. She takes her time with you to listen to your concerns and/or problems. Dr. Swing goes above and beyond your needs and she won’t neglect any concerns whether it’s in her field of medicine or not. As well as, she does a follow up by calling you herself to make sure all of your issues were addressed. Also, Dr. swing staff is very cordial, polite, pleasant and attentive to assisting your needs. Kudos to Dr. Swing and her staff!

Dr. Swing is fabulous. Best GYN I have ever hadAnd I have had some really good ones.She is communicative and responsive between appointments if you are having a medical problem. She is whip-smart and up to date with hormone therapy which I have never found a male GYN to be knowledgeable. I highly recommend her. Professional, timely, competent and listens to you and knows her medicine. Not one to immediately recommend a hysterectomy which is usually the case.

Dr. Swing takes her time with me and is patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. She returns to answer any questions after your exam, which I appreciate because not all doctors do this. She also was concerned about my easy bruising, ordered some labs and referred me to a PCP for further testing. Dr. Swing went above and beyond my expectations! She is an awesome doctor!

Dr. Swing has been my doctor for a few years now and I would highly recommend her. Doctors visits are never enjoyable but Dr. Swing makes me feel comfortable. She listens to you when you have questions and helps explain what the best options are when you need them.

Dr. Swing is an expert in bio-identical hormones for women. I found her to be kind, caring, and thorough in terms of overall health picture. Lucky to have her in New Orleans. Highly recommend- very competent practitioner.

Dr. Swing has wonderful bedside manner. She asks you questions about your like and what may be affecting your body. She took her time...you can tall she loves what she does & is very knowledgeable and down to earth, easy to talk to.

23 years ago UMC high risk clinic, what is today known as UHC. I had only 1 living son 6 miscarriages. This tiny resident said Hi I am Dr Katie! I seen your chart , I kno you had it rough in the past! I hung my head low well Miss Francis, you are going to go all the way with this 1 I thought another resident doesnt know what she is talking about lil girl full of energy , my size at the time was probably 4 times her size. but still I was hopeful. Week after week appointments preventive procedures (cerclage, bedrest , legs up right for months.) she encouraged me, she probably was praying for me as well . She would even come look for me in that clinic . On Aug 28, 2000 I delivered 7lb 8 ounce healthy baby boy. I am grateful for her determination, not giving up on my boy. I would look for her if today I would have 🙌🙏immaculate conception. Thanks Dr Katie you are blessing to every cervix you touch. God has blessed you with a gift in helping him by facilitating in bringing life onto this earth. Thankful and blessed God placed that lil girl in my path.

Extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. She did surgery on my teenage daughter. It was my daughters first surgery of that nature and Dr. Swing eased our minds and was informative.
