NextCare Urgent Care Mesquite

I took my brother into the center because his face was extremely swollen from an abscess on his tooth. We were greeted warmly by the young lady at the window as soon as we walked in. She proceeded to walk us through registration since was our first time being there. He was seen very quickly and was five. Extremely excellent care by the staff. We will definitely be using this center whenever he needs medical assistance. Thank you so much for your excellent patient care, being a healthcare worker myself I appreciated your quick assistance to help ease his pain. Godspeed!

It was so refreshing to be able to use the urgent care clinic for my visit. I am a Veteran and have always went to the VA, which is an all day affair. I was in and out just a little over an hour. The staff was great and efficient! Will return from now on!

I started feeling sick the night before Christmas Eve. I was not able to sleep and began searching for appointment times at my nearest BS&W urgent care. I was able to schedule an appointment for that afternoon. Once there, check in and doctor wait time was pretty fast. I was in and out within an hour. Results for COVID, Strep and Flu were also pretty fast. They sent my prescription to my pharmacy which was also available right away. I highly recommend this location. Thank you to the doctor and staff for being available on Christmas Eve!

First I am 66 years old so I know when I have an inner ear infection. Ive had them before, I know what they feel like. Thats what I went in there for today.But rather than listening to me the doctor decided to have someone clean out my very painful ear. The added pain from this put me into tears, being I was already in pain when I went in.This was ridiculous and uncalled for, being other doctors there have listened and have given me an antibiotic in the past because they realize that my pain & symptoms are all due to an inner ear infection, like they were today.Oh and the final diagnosis? An inner ear infection, just as I had originally said!Also the wait time was ridiculous. We were there 3 hours, even with a scheduled appointment.The receptionist area staff and the nurse who takes you back were all very good. I dont want them lumped in with the bad ones.I dont know what changed, as they use to be good in the past, but I do not recommend them now. I will never return to this clinic.

Out of my 30+ years of life I have NEVER been to a medical office where the trash from getting blood drawn is left on the table where patients sit. I have never in my life been in as much pain as I’m in from the person drawing my blood. She made me support my own arm without a band, in a position I have never seen done at any Dr office, urgent care or ER. She hurt me so badly and I had blood GUSHING down my arm all over her gloves. I can barely bend my arm and am STILL bleeding, soaked through the gauze in less than 2 minutes. I was given Tina Paolucci card with a phone number that says it’s no longer a working number or it directs you back to a main menu to where you can not contact her via phone, I sent and email an am very doubtful she will contact me back. I have immediate concerns on who is drawing blood from patients here. I have never in my life bled this much and been in this much pain from simple blood work. Her bedside manner was absolutely horrible. No apologies no anything. And again left trash there. I have picture proof of my blood and the trash. I’m sure they will deflect this on me like this is normal but it is ABSOLUTELY not.

Easy to schedule appointment, waiting time at the lobby no more than 10min, once we got to the room the waiting time was ridiculous we wait more two hours to be seen by the doctor. When the doctor finally came into the room all she did was to check my daughters ears. Not sure if I be back.

The staff were friendly and ready to help as this was a long absence from the clinic. I love the sign-in with the phone. My doctor was exceptional and readily diagnosed my condition and knew on the spot what I needed. When I saw the Baylor and White sign, I knew i was walking into one of the best. Thanks, everyone.

The ladies at the front desk were very nice and professional. When we went into the intake room the lady was very nice as well. The nurse practitioner that saw my son was very patient with him and understood that his eye was hurt and made him feel very comfortable. Thank you for making our visit very welcoming and quick!

My left foot and throat was hurting. I was told to go to urgent care by doctors office. The scheduling was easy after the bad weather we had last week that closed medical offices. l was in and out in under two hours. Registration and Check-in online was easy. I will go again if I need to. Thanks to staff and doctor.

I was a new patient and the staff welcome you when entering. Explain the process from beginning to end. I really dont like going to the doctor, but the entire staff made me feel comfortable. Thank you all.

Scheduled an appointment last night for the next morning. Had about a 50 minute wait, total time there 1.5 hours. The online paperwork is pretty in depth, but once you go back to the nurse or medical assistant, they ask you every single question all over again. Went in for possible strep. When they asked for the first of my last cycle, I told them I was regular and why do you need to know for a sore throat? I was told it’s protocol and I had to answer it… I do not like they force answers from people, terrible bedside manners. Then the NP come in and kept confusing me with another patient. Each time he came in I had to tell him the same information.. I would NOT recommend this place.

Professional, caring staff made my visit extremely smooth and quicker than I expected. The option to check -in online is awesome and limited my wait in the waiting room, which is great for everyone, but especially parents with young children. I highly recommend.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and took good care of me. The phlebotomist has skilled hands with a gentle touch, which helped since I have a fear of needles. She was amazing! There was a long wait, as expected in urgent care, but the office was clean and it ran like a well-oiled machine.

I came in about 15 minutes before they closed but I also didn’t know that when I walked in. I was rushed at the end when I had questions about the medication and found it rather rude that the doctor had the door open while I still had questions. The service wasn’t the worst but definitely expected a more in depth visit since it cost $200+ with my insurance

Hurt foot,wasnt getting better. Scheduled an appointment for the next day. There was a delay and I waited longer than appointment time,but it wasnt too bad/long of a wait.Staff was friendly,checking in was easy.Quality,quick care.I would reccomend.

Only there for about an hour and a 1/2. Everyone was great. Super sweet and made sure all my needs were met. Thank you for checking in. Still feeling like shadookie but I have been on my meds for less than 24 hours. Guess well see.

Was good experience, but after writing where prescription should be sent, telling nurse and Dr where to send prescription with location details, they still got it wrong. Not feeling well at all waited 45 minutes in line at place my prescription should have been sent just to be told its at another location or I could wait another 30 minutes. Went to other location and still waited 30 minutes. Not cool at all!

Care is given here is not great. The staff at the desks is friendly, but the practitioners (no actual doctors here) aren’t especially helpful. I’ve been here twice for different issues and don’t plan on returning because it’s like they are scared to actually do or prescribe anything helpful. Today we waited 20 mins for bloodwork, then decided to just leave. None of the staff even knew we were in there waiting for something. It is probably better to just go to the ER if you have a serious issue.

I don’t understand why you have questions in your app for pharmacy and allergies if nobody looked at it and you have to get the information more than once. It’s a waste of my time and it’s irritating. So explain to me what the point is if I walk in after setting the appointment just have to give all the information over again. And then when I ask the guy that’s having me repeat all this information why I have to repeat it again or put it in to the app in the first place if they’re just gonna ask me, he wants to get an attitude and act like I’m stupid. The doctor was nice, but the rest of the staff is either, More involved in their phones Or in having conversation with each other.

I recommend this clinic. Friendly and efficient staff. It’s nice that they you can book an appt on the website and because I have been to another location, my information was saved and it made it easy and fast to enter my personal and medical info. Even though I made an appt, I did have to wait a bit. But the overall service was good.

Waiting time sucks! I booked an appointment for 11:45 and was seen after more than an hour. Staff are not friendly. It’s like they dont want to work. I was seen by a NP, and was not even assessed for 5 minutes. And she prescribed me with lots of medications. As a patient who is also in the medical field, Im just really 100% disappointed of the care I got. It was my first time to visit here and I am never coming back.

I took my daughter to the hospital just so they can say she had allergies. So I brought her to urgent and they did actual testing and blood work to find out it was a bacterial infection which explains why she’s been symptomatic for 4 days now. All I can say is, is that I love coming here! They never fail to provide their services i honestly don’t know why I didn’t come here the first time.

Great customer attention at the front desk, nurse in the room was awesome! makes me feel comfortable until I wait for the doctor. Waiting time was not longer, I received an immediately attention from the doctor, great attention. I full recommend this provider.

If it wasn’t for the nurse practitioner I would give this visit a 1-star rating. Scheduled an appt was seen by the triage nurse about 30 minutes after my scheduled appt time, she did a strep culture for me, and I was told there were not any empty rooms so I had to wait in the waiting area, no biggie. Sat in the waiting area for another 45 minutes then was taken back to a room and told the physician would be with me shortly. I waited another 40 minutes and poked my head out to make sure I wasn’t forgotten and a nurse walked over to where the physician had been sitting and socializing and let him know I was waiting. Then after another 30 minutes of listening to the two physicians talk about how different cultures get their last names, I opened the door again and politely waited. I was greeted by the nurse practitioner that asked if she could help me, to which I replied that I had been waiting over 2 hours since the time of my scheduled appt just to know the results of my strep test (it was negative btw) and that for the last 30+ minutes the two physicians were having a conversation unrelated to patient care. She told me the physician should be with me in just a few minutes and walked away. She came back within a minute and said she was just gonna see me, 3 minutes later I was done and walking out the door. The walls are paper thin in this office so you can hear everything going on. I will always respect a doctors time and realize that they may need a small break especially during the cold and flu season but physicians need to be mindful of their patients time and whoever is responsible for making sure that the physician is seeing their assigned patients definitely dropped the ball. Stop flirting/socializing do your job.

Was not pleased at all with the roughness experienced when the doctor pulled on me to insert the speculum, in spite of the redness and inflammation. The insertion was even worse. Being experienced in the medical field as I am, I was appalled at her lack of interest in my discomfort. I never want to be seen by that woman doctor again. I would prefer a jack hammer,

I was disappointed when I left because I felt I needed a steroids which I didn’t get. My blood pressure was elevated and medical guidelines excluded the use of steroids. I was given antibiotic and the next day I felt great! The best I’ve felt in a long time. I feel fortunate that the provider ruled out pneumonia with CT scan, gave me a great antibiotic and refused use of steroids.

I had a 10:30am appt. Got there 20 minutes early. I wasnt seen until 1pm. The waiting area had no heat. The provider said she would call in 1 antibiotic but called in 1 I cant take. I have been going here for over 10 years. The change from Primacare to NextCare was clearly not for the best.

The staff got my daughter on the schedule with ease. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful. They answered all of my insurance questions. The back office staff were incredible. They put my daughter at ease. The provider that seen her was so sweet and kind. She explained to my daughter what was going on and what the treatment was. This clinic is amazing all around. Yes we might of had to wait a little time. But it was less time then going to any emergency room for sure. They are awesome at this clinic so worth the wait. We will return if we ever need urgent care.

Terrible receptionists at the front desk on tuesday 11/12 @10:30 am. Were very rude and just inconsiderate. Even called me to the desk to tell me with an elevated voice level “we don’t accept obamacare” when she simply could have said “we’re out of network with your insurance.” I have Blue Cross Blue Shield. And if I’m sick, the last thing i need is two rude women as soon as i walk through the door. the nurses who checked my vitals and tested me for covid flu and strep were very sweet. The nurse practitioner who did all my stuff said she thinks i have bronchitis. After I had just explained to her I hadn’t coughed, or even had a runny nose for 6 days prior to my appointment. I came to this place because I thought it would be a step above the rest of the urgent cares in my area. But unfortunately you’d probably get better help elsewhere and not have to pay out of pocket with CARD only.

If you find yourself sick and away from home this is the best place to get help. I woke up with a sinus infection and pretty miserable. Urgent Care took great care of me. They even helped with filling my blood pressure medication that I had mistakenly left at home.  Thank you Urgent Care of Mesquite and the friendly staff for making this experience as painless as possible.

Office staff, nurses, doctor was very nice and helpful. Online booking and check in worked very well. I received the care I needed and will use this location again if needed. Only problem was the wait. I had an 8:45 appointment, checked in at 8:22, wasnt seen by the doctor until 10:00. I had a low priority issue and there was 10+ other patients there, so I understand and cant be too upset. I will just have to plan on that kind of wait next time.

Horrible, except for the X-ray tech! I went in hurting so badly, left the same way. Pay a co-pay, or if you sadly have to pay out of your pocket, your souls be able to get help, or at least be given information to make a good decision. Bad business, sad! Never again!

The staff and physician were wonderful. I had gone somewhere else before and didn’t do a thorough job. I ended up going to Nextcare in Mesquite and found out what the problem was. I really appreciate their care!

This was my second visit this week. Today Dr Fitzgerald listened to my problems, did a thorough examination and added some extra testing to figure out my diagnosis. I received an antibiotic shot in office and a script for 10 days of antibiotics. I wish my first visit would have gone this well so I could’ve avoided an extra few days of feeling terrible!!

This facility was previously Prima Care, then Next Care, for 14 years before it was Baylor Scott & White it was 5 stars, and everyone who needed care I sent to this location. However, with the new staff the medical care is limited to positive negative tests, and no ability to offer help or give wrong help if the test is wrong. Pick another urgent care now unless you need sports physicals or sutures.

The doctor couldn’t do anything and simply wrote a note to send us to an emergency room at a big hospital and they had the audacity to charge $227. Do not go to this place, there is no integrity at this clinic. Receptionist have no common sense like if they will profit from scamming patients. Is so easy to ask the right questions when screening the patients, asking upfront, and knowing if their clinic/doctor can do or don’t, but yeah, it’s about collecting money. I should have left and not pay for damn note they provided. Ridiculous

Dr. Familusi and Dr. Fitzgerald are very attentive she actually listens to your symptoms and ask questions about your symptoms and they are both very caring! They have both has seen my children my son that’s 10yrs. and 7yrs. Both Great!!

I literally had a two minute conversation with the lady in the front desk. I needed an exam. I understand that she can’t take me because of the sheet of paper. it’s OK. I understand you can’t do further much but the fact that I was still sitting there and said she said it had to a gen -x . Yes, I take it personally because I needed help and you couldn’t wait until I stepped out.

They suck now. I believe insurance is a scam and I prefer to pay cash. You used to get a different price with cash. Now, it’s 350$! Plus whatever they do. Unless you sign up for their bull crap monthly program. I found a different place that’s fair and I’m in and out. The new place is 130 cash plus like 50$ for a lab test. If I go to the Dr it should be as transparent as buying anything else. Should be no smoke and mirrors and bills sent to your house afterwards. We the people need to stop letting big pharma herd us like sheep. I don’t recommend this place. Use a different clinic or doctor and pay cash. It’s a smarter move.

Made an online appointment for 9:15 am. I waited over an hour and still never got called back. 6 other patients were called back while I was there. This is truly unprofessional and I will never go back to any nextcare facility. If there was half star rating I would even give them that.

The doctor got straight to the point and suggested an x-ray since I told her I was dealing with congestion for over a month and I think it started from postnasal drip in the back of my throat. She diagnosed me with acute bronchitis. She gave me a steroid type shot and prescribed amoxicillin antibiotic and a cough syrup from the pharmacists that compress the cough and clearing of the throat. It also makes you drowsy and sleep well at night. Ive read that most bronchitis are viral and antibiotics wont help, but with a bacterial bronchitis they are usually not prescribed so that confuses me but thats Dr Google for ya. 😂

Wait time was understandable due to the amount of patients in front of us. I liked that the doctor really listened to my concerns and did the x rays I asked for, rather than just saying to give Tylenol and wait it out, because my toddler ended up having a fractured clavicle. Would definitely recommend to others.

Everything was smooth and easy! Dr.Fakkel was very pleasant and knowledgeable about my daughter symptoms. She’s a great doctor.

Went for a sportsphysical. We made an appointment for 2pm but werent called back until 2:45-2:50. It was so hot in the whole facility. I mentioned it to the nurse and she said it felt fine. People in the waiting room were complaining of the heat as well. The actual appointment was fine. Easy with no issues, cant beat the price. Only $20 for the sports physical. Would probably pick a different facility next time.

Dr and nurse were very friendly. Took my daughter bc she cut her knee while playing football with her brother and thought it might need a stitch. She was so scared and they reassured her that everything was okay and told her everything they were gonna do before they did it. Great experience.

Everyone was friendly and professional. I was treated very well and I was listened to and my questions were answered politely. I would recommend this Urgent Care to anyone needing medical assistance!

Very unprofessional. One of the ladies with dark hair was sitting at her desk which is the front window amongst two other ladies . Taking a personal call on her cell phone eating hot Fritos talking loudly whilst the other older lady was trying to assist me ! I waiting 30mins just for them to verify my insurance to see if I could be seen ! I was never seen I asked for my insurance card back so I can just go somewhere else . They sent me a bill for $350.00 and nothing was done . Insane will never go back . Lack decorum and professionalism

Ive been in Dallas for 13 years and this has been by far the best service ever. A+ bedside manners, follow-up and detailed evaluation. The Dr and his nurse were amazing!

They even have a app where you can see the progress of the people that are in line and what place you are in line. I like that. I had a 1:00 pm appointment. I arrived at 12:45 pm. I did not get called until after 2:30 pm. I got in my truck at 3:30. I was not given any notice until I went to the counter to make them aware of the time I spent there. Overall not a positive experience

Much better experience after Baylor transition, not sure if they was it or not, but the doctor listened, cared, was relatable. Helped me and I was in and out. He knew exactly what I needed.

First time there and the wait was not long at all. The service was better than in some hospital. Hope not to need them again but if I do will definitely go there again. I had to get stitches and the doctor did a great job.

I cut the tip off my pinky, & it wouldnt stop bleeding. The doc cleaned and patched it up. Totally healed now.

They need to get scheduled people in first before walk in other wise I wasted my time to set an appointment. They literally cleared the lobby of all walkins before they got me in the back and I was over an hour late of my appointment time so I was not happy.

Dr. Miller was excellent! The place was clean and the reception staff were also helpful.

Scheduled a same day appointment online. Arrived, checked in & was seen within 15 mins of check in. Although I had a chest x-ray done, I was still treated/seen quickly & was on my way home with a diagnosis/prescriptions within an hour! The doctor & staff were very professional & courteous! Definitely recommended for quick/fast medical help!

Whenever I have visited in the past, it’s usually unpleasant whether there’s an annoyed receptionist or the nurse practitioner isn’t interested on hearing your concerns.Today was different, I got the most pleasant staff ever. They have you set an appointment and then take walkins before the people that made appointments. This is the second time they have kept me waiting almost 45 min for my scheduled meeting

The place was clean and they staff very friendly. I was there for employer vaccinations.

Took my son he stated the doctor was rude. He was sent for a ct scan the imaging location never received the order and clinical notes that were needed. I paid for urgent care fee when they didn’t do their job. Ended up taking my son to the ER!

Staff was nice and the Sports physical cost was reasonable and the wait time was fast. They just need someone to check the air conditioner because it was hot.

I brought my son in for an ear infection. I was really concerned to jump on treatment right away when I learned of his pain because he has permanently lost hearing in his other ear from a previous infection. We arrived super late in the day, close to closing time. They were able to get him in, and he was given proper treatment. I’m so thankful for your help!

These people and practitioners are amazing! We have been twice for strep not only are they extremely kind and patient with my autistic 11 year old, but I’ve never had to wait longer than about 20 minutes to be seen. Thorough and fast! Happy to have them as part of our care team!!

The provider that did my daughter and 2 son’s physicals was beyond unprofessional! What type of provider would attempt to check my teenage son’s private area while my teenage daughter was in the same room!!?? She also attempted to diagnose my son with heart issues when he was referring to his diagnosed asthma and got an attitude when I tried to clarify what he meant. Definitely needs more training.

Waited over 2 1/2 hrs to see a licensed provider. The worst urgent care I’ve ever been to and would not be returning to this place again

Baylor.Scott and white needs to really think about putting their name on this establishment.This one is not the right fitFor them. I went there thursday evening and was very disappointed with the service i received next time for urgent care I will go elsewhere.

We had an appointment at 8:45 got called in pretty fast. Got vitals checked and sent to s room. It wasnt even full! People were in and out but never us. 10:30 cam around and were still in the room! Was told our name got pushed up in while waiting for results so the doctor never came into the room because basically our name was hidden by other patients. We were in room 2 and the nurse who checked out vital could have said hey theyve been in room two. A crying baby for hours didnt draw their attention constantly checking out the room didnt catch their sttention. When asked how much longer I was told they were waiting on the do tors orders. The doctor hasnt even been to the room!

Every time I ask to see Dr . Famolousi, and she never disappoints. She’s such a caring doctor. She’s always helpful and able to inform me of any important info needed. She’s just awesome and the whole staff has always been loving towards me each visit.

The entire staff was kind, helpful and prompt. If I need urgent care again, this will be my go to.

Did not have a good experience. Staff was not friendly, and the provider wore a white coat that looked like it was taken out of an old trunk. I did not feel like I was in a facility run by Baylor.

I am genetically disposed to getting Kidney stones & disclosed this to staff. The nurse PA did not listen to my concerns regarding the need to rule out a Kidney stone (horse shoe- shaped kidney, it’s one big organ instead of 2 separate ones…)I was upset when I left, I felt like I had not been “seen” but rather treated like a ‘Rubber-Stamp patient Dx’When I gave the urine sample, the RR was NOT clean; there was “back splash” around the commode and on the floor. Toilet paper pieces were All over.All Staff (save two women who were standing in the Lab area…) performed their duties as if they could not be fired- the greeting at the Front Desk was robotic. The young man who called me back and took my vitals was so hard to understand - I was not a priority to him.I’m sad- I’ve been to this clinic before, months ago. I don’t know what changed, but I won’t be back.

The Hispanic females up front are EXTREMELY RUDE if you’re black. First off, the first one had the audacity to be rude about a physical form when I told her one was not provided to us. Then, we’re in the waiting area waiting (mind you, showed up early, had an appointment, and only one person was in the waiting area) and all of a sudden, the other one with the ghetto lashes had the nerve to call my son up to the front and tell him it would be $66! Girl I wish we would! We have NEVER been treated so poorly; and when I told her they acted like they didn’t want to see us to begin with, she didn’t say anything. I also asked her why we were charged prior to receiving his 2 min physical and she said they charge first, which was something that was new to me because the last time, they did not. Y’all have HORRIBLE customer service. I’d rather spend $100 on a physical and be treated MUCH better than spending money to support these ladies with bad attitudes and helping buy caterpillar lashes. Please train your horrendous front desk representatives better. Run far away from this “URGENT” care. Nothing about it was urgent nor were we treated with care.

Super easy and fast to make an appointment online. Took care of all the paper work online as well. I walked in and was checked in on the spot. Wait time was about 5mins maybe less. I had to pay a lot for my copay but other than that the ladies at the front desk was nice along with the Doctor.

Was able to schedule a last minute Sunday appt online for less than an hour out. We arrived about 10 min early, but were taken back at our appt time. Interior is a bit dated, but clean; staff was friendly and appointment wasnt rushed. Recommend 👍🏻

Now mind you the wait is pretty long but that was because I walked in and was there for the first time the facility is clean the clerks are friendly and when it came time for my sons sports physical it was fast.

I had a bad tooth ache which had my whole left side of my face in pain it was late all the dentist offices were closed I goggle urgent care and went and boy they were a blessing and I fell in love with the sweetest Dr who took care of my problem shes amazing and wish I had her for a primary care Dr.

I have been to other urgent cares where the staff is always rude. That doesn’t help when you already don’t feel good. I would recommend this place to everyone. They work fast and efficient too, the wait was not long at all.

Brought my daughter in back in March because a she was sick. They tested her for the flu and strep nothing else. Results came back negative and they said she has to the flu but it was to early to detect. Fast forward two days laterwe are in the emergency room she had pneumonia!! Now I have a 5000 bill and the doctors all said this was something they could have diagnosed. 😐Would not recommend if they are going to take your money and not actually going to see what is wrong!

No point of making an appointment. Made one the day prior and when we checked in was told only 1 person before us. Then 5 other people got called prior to us. Was told by the office manager its not an appointment just a place holder. Which if thats the case then why was I not put into the rotation when I arrived 30 minutes prior to my appointment? Instead they called me after my scheduled appointment so if its not an appointment then why do the people that also scheduled get called before me when we were already there waiting? Was told by front desk they also didnt understand it and didnt have an answer. Seems like something isnt right here. Very frustrating when you have a sick kid waiting to be seen.

Made an appointment online and still had to wait 2 hours. Plus once inside the practitioner just checked a couple of things in less then two minutes and said your all done. I spend way too much time waiting for not to be checked properly. Was a waste of time and money.

We were visting from out of town and need medical treatment. Walked, checked in and filled out the required forms. My husband and I were both seen. Chest xray and strep test done. Staff very nice and the doctor Folake Familus was very professional and good. Took the time with each of us. The whole experience was excellent. They didnt even treat my son for what he came in for, prescribed him meds for something completely unnecessarily and unwanted, then told him to come back again, and pay again, to get treated for what he came in for. Absolutely amazing. I went in, filled paperwork, got to see a doctor quickly. I told the doctor what was wrong and what I needed, she took a look, prescribed the medications and I was good to go! It was so quick and they had appointments in the hour before they close. They close at 5, but I was able to call and get an appointment at 4:15! It was an amazing experience. Quick and easy!

Got in and out quickly. Everyone from Reception to the provider were very professional and took their time explaining everything.

Scheduled an appointment for my daughters school physical and I explain what she was coming in for and even asked if they took insurance and they said yes! Even told them what insurance my daughter has. So when I show up she goes is $25 which is okay but I mean would be nice if they would of told me that they don’t take insurance for physicals when I gave all the information over the phone. And she gave me an attitude and just says “ well you dint spoke to me so I dint knew what you were coming in for” but I mean if the same policies applies why would it made a difference if I scheduled the appointment with the other receptionist? I feel all of them should be informed on what insurance they take 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️. The provider on the other hand was the best I wish I could say the same about the receptionist

Would have gotten 5 stars if not for the long wait time in the lobby! Was told I’d be next and sure enough someone else got to go before me!! Paid my copay before everyone else and still got pushed back!! SMH Nurse was great once I got back, Dr was Awesome but again waiting 2hrs to see her made the entire visit 2 stars instead of 5.

Dr. Fakkel took the time to listen to all of my concerns and recommended a chest xray. Then when it came back concerning, she recommended I proceed to the ER. Her calm and caring demeanor put me a little more at ease during a very stressful situation.

My only fuss is the X-ray technician refused to provide me with a lead apron to minimize exposure to radiation. I even asked her for one she said it wasn’t necessary. The doctor was polite and everyone else was as well.

I went on New Years Day when my eye was swollen shut and a scary rash with water blisters on my face. I had made an appointment with my primary care/urgent care Medprem on Beltline but they were closed! Medprem did not adjust its phone, online schedule system or even a sign on the door for New Years!! I was terrified that the painful and scary illness was Shingles but the doctor explained why it couldnt be. Then I got a shot and three prescriptions. I was impressed by the friendly, efficient service. NextCare Urgent Care has its act down.

I am usually not the type to go to the doctor, but since I had to, Im glad I chose this place. They made me feel at ease and were very professional. I was a walk-in and check-in on the phone made it swifty. I had an issue with my eye and the Dr. let me have the lights off for the majority of the time I was in the room because she knew it made me feel better. And so they made a return patient of me when I need it again.

My daughter needed an xray on her left knee & wrist from a sports injury, the staff was quick to check us in & they accept walk-in appointments. We got our results and the clinic has a doctor on staff to interpret the results. We received a knee brace and pain rx. It was over all a great experience for an emergency visit.

I made an appointment in a Sunday due to cold like symptoms. Overall the initiation with check in, vitals, swabbing and getting a room was quick within 30 minutes for all of that. The doctor came in to see me 10 minutes after that we had a 3 minute conversation regarding my symptoms and when they started, not once did she listen to my lungs the stethoscope was placed only by my heart, we agreed on a treatment plan once we got the results. A couple of minutes after she walked out i received a text thanking me for my visit but i didn’t think anything about it since I figured they are ahead of the game. I then waited 45 minutes for results no one could find my results plus I was no longer in the system. They had already checked me out and forgot about me. Unacceptable, I’m sitting there sick with an aching body and in pain only to be forgotten

The staff and nurses are always really nice and kind.. my daughter always gets the medical attention she needs. The doctor thats usually there is always nice to us keeping us in the loop of things. I would most definitely recommend this place.

The front staff and nurse practioner were really great, however, the young lady that did the vital signs was snappy with me because I choose not to take off the extra clothing off and not get on the scales.I was not feeling well and had already completed that information on the sign in documentation.She could use more sensitivity training..Overall experience was good.

It was a great experience,My appointment was at 5 didnt get seen until 5:45 but the receptionist already prepared me for the wait.Everyone from the front to the back were very polite and very professional.This is where I will be be going from now on!!

Had an appointment at 920am didnt see anyone for over an hour and a half past the appointment time is unacceptable. Pointless to make an appointment if they cant get you in within 30 min of that time made. Also I watched staff members doing the home boy hook up letting what looks like friends/family in back door to skip the line of the waiting room. Gave our room to one the staffs friends because my kid had to use the bathroom really quick. Garbage service.

My first time here last Saturday with my both kids (6 years)(2 years 8 months) they were really sick with fever 🤒 we got here since their pediatrician was closed. lm so happy l find this place everyone was really nice and you can do appointment in the app to be seen same day, it take like an hour the waiting but is the normal time more faster than childrens hospitals the doctor Lakshmi was super nice and she prescribed the right antibiotics she answered all my questions,I recommend this place 💯
