HealthCARE Express Urgent Care - Marshall, TX

I have no idea how this place has a 4.6 rating. I made a 3:00 pm appt for my husband. They didn’t get him into a room until 3:25 pm. Several people were taken ahead of him even though he arrived first. At 4:50 pm, he is still in the room and hasn’t seen the doctor. He went out and told someone he had been there over an hour and he was ignored. He’s had 102 fever for two days and sitting in a room for an hour and a half is certainly not helping. We definitely won’t be back.

I scheduled a appointment for my daughter a day in advance. Around noon time I provided all insurance info online prior to my appointment. I arrived for the appointment and got checked in. Lady waited until I sat down and waited to tell me my insurance wasn’t accepted yet. Mind you they had all day to call me and give me that information. Instead I waisted my time and gas for them to not be able to attend me.

Never had an issue with HCE until I spoke to multiple people in billing, emailed a acreen capture of my correct copayment taken day of visit. I assume the input into the system reflected less even though I sent PROOF for what was taken out by HCE Marshall the day of my sons appointment. Yet told I have to pay, even when escalated to some chat, I was still told to pay it. ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. Won’t be going back to this location if we go back to HCE. Document the correct amounts patients pay.

Everything about my visit was great. Almost zero wait time everyone was polite the facility was clean. In and out in less than 1 hour. I’m so glad they are here in Marshall.

Stood in the rain for 20 minutes so my sick wife could be seen yesterday. She was the second one into the office, like 12th person to be seen. After an awful 4.5 hours of being there, we left to go pick up prescriptions. This is great, well on the way to her getting well. ( Except, They never called in the prescription,) I Waited until 1900 hours when the pharmacy closed, (still not called in.)So the next day, go back to pharmacy at 9 am when they open. The prescription still not called in. We are almost 24 hours later at this point and still no prescriptions called in.Sure could have been a simple mistake, I understand mistakes, that is why I went back and asked nicely and politely about the antibiotics.I Went back by and asked Cassie, (very nice lady) nicely if they could just call in the antibiotic? She said they will have a nurse look at the chart and maybe see about calling the prescription, (Mean nurse said) it will be a little while, I asked whats a little while, she said, in another 2-3 hours or so. If I am ever sick, please for the love of anything, dont take me here, I can battle my odds at home and not owe anyone money. It is not like this is science, its basic, Im sick - cold medicine. This place is a joke and ran like a flea market, well that is not fair to the flea markets you will get what you pay for at the flea market.Good luck to anyone who this is the last resort for health care, prayers for you and your family. They simply dont CARE,. The name of this place should be HealthWeDontCARE Express Nothing Urgent Here Care.May your experience be better and I pray they dont treat your family this way, it is not nice to treat sick people so meanly.

Byron Hutson was great. Short wait. Friendly staff. A little pricey for self pay, but I havent been to the doctor in years, so maybe thats the going rate. Ill be back.

The wait time was not too long to see the doctor. The X-ray tech was very kind and considerate and helpful. The registrar was efficient and welcoming.

At check-in, I was texted a link and had to enter ALL my own information into their system. They did nothing. Then we waited in the waiting room with a woman who was extremely sick for at least an hour before getting into a room. Then we waited another half hour before the provider came in. Then the X-ray took 15 minutes followed by another 15 minutes for it to be read. Then the provider walked in and spent 5 minutes with us to give us the diagnosis and sent us on our way. We spent 2 hours here. Nothing URGENT about this place.

First time customer at this place and it was absolutely professional. Filled out all the paperwork and was called back within 20 minutes. Nurses was very professional, and the doctor was also would highly recommend visiting this clinic for future health needs

Wonderful experience today. Had to take my granddaughter here today for fever that I could not get down. Very good experience. Granddaughter, who is 20 months old, wasn’t afraid of nurse Lanie and Dr. Hannah. They made the visit easy for her and me. Totally recommend Healthcare Express Urgent Care Marshall.

Do not recommend. Went it hoping to get some actual help as I was in a lot pain. Checked my patient portal this afternoon to see a procedure listed as done when in reality nothing at all was done. I was sent home with antibiotics and told to take ibuprofen. Not to mention how the NP looked at my problem area and hesitated doing anything.

The check in and check out process is horrible. There is one person doing both, so you wait in line to get paperwork, get in line to give paperwork back, then you are called up again. At checkout I had to get back in line with people who are checking in.Other complaint is I didn’t get clear follow up /care instructions.

I would give zero stars if I could. They refused service without a card on file even though I have had to call insurance every single time due to billing errors on HCE’s part. The doctors lackProper bedside manner and now that we have another option in town we will not be back.

I do not like hospitals or drs, & have a fear of going. This place & these people help me & its the only place in Marshall I will go unless Im dying anyway. Thanks to all of them for making me feel easier about going. I am greatful good dr.s are rare these days , & they are good doctors nurses staff there.

Very quick and easy. I didnt have an appointment and I was a new patient. Filled out paperwork, saw a doctor and was out within an hour. The doctor was very informative

It was good, the only thing is that I waited over an hour or longer to get in and then the doctor took maybe 5 minutes and I was out of there. That would be my only complaint other than that everything was good.

If I could give zero stars I would! I used to come here when I needed but as I went to be seen today they denied me bc I didn’t have my card to put on file. Don’t go here! THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE UR MONEY! Since when does a doctor “REQUIRE” you to have a card on file before u can be seen! Absolutely ridiculous

They deserve -5 stars. Open at 8am don’t open to doors till well after 8, even tho there’s a line down the sidewalk. The waiting area is FILTHY used tissues on the chairs, clumps of dirt and grass all over the floors. Should have been my sign then to leave, but no, my baby is sick so I stand in line for 20 minutes even tho I’m 3rd in line. The person checking in clearly is going as slow as she possible can. I FINALLY get to the front of the line and “we don’t accept that insurance” maybe I could have saved myself and my SICK baby a trip if the webpage was working. Second time I’ve been here and the place is completely filthy and workers clearly hate their job. Do your self a favor and go anywhere but here.

Doctors and staff are great. They are the best. The new system for sign-in sucks. I am doing all the staff work. I hate that part, You have to do all that work and feel unwell. I suggest go back to the previous way.

Took my son there for stitches after an accident. They were very attentive and quick to get him taken care of. Almost no wait at all. We always use them.

The visit started with the Front desk person being rude and on her personal cell phone. After I filled the forms out online it said you are checked in, however I guess I was supposed to go back to really finish checking in to pay the Co-pay. Mind you she watched us sit in the waiting room. We were the only other ones for 45 minutes. Once we went back the nurses pointed instead of talking and were cold. When my son got a shot she said nothing just stuck him making him jump and laughed. He is 17. We felt very put off. Rudest experience I have ever had there.

Late afternoon arrival with shingles, early stage. I needed the antiviral to stop the spread.I was seen quickly, diagnosed and had meds within an hour.Thanks to all staff ( PA Hannah especially) for your help .😁

Was a great experience. Was in and out in a timely manner. The receptionist, nurse and Dr were all extremely nice and caring, would definitely recommend them anytime 💯

I had an incredible experience this morning in Marshall, Tx. at the Healthcare Express Urgent Care office and I wanted to share my thoughts on it. I’ve been traveling to their Longview office for many years because of several negative experiences on previous visits in pst years to the Marshall office. I had no time to travel to Longview this morning as per my job and I told my wife I wanted to give Marshall another visit to see if anything had changed. Well, to my delight and time constraint, I had the most impressive visit to a Healthcare Express Urgent Care ever. It started with a pleasant experience at the front check in, another pleasant experience being transferred to my room, and then the PA also was very professional. They all had good attitudes which in today’s world is simply hard to find. I recommend very highly that if you’ve had a negative experience with prior employees like myself or you’re just looking for urgent care, please don’t hesitate to visit this office. I don’t think you will be diappointed! Great job Marshall, Tx. office and again, thanks to your entire Team for making a doctors visit the best and most pleasant it could be!Respectfully,Chris

Katy Randolph is the WORST. (front desk person)refused to see patients at 7, tried everything in her power to turn patients away.told me i wouldn’t get my results back in the same day in attempt to get me to leave. once i said that was fine and went to the back i had the results back in 2 mins. total visit took about 10 mins. she was just being lazy.

The service and care has always been stellar in the past, but tonight it was terrible. If Hannah is not the provider, then you best stay away.

Symptoms- headache, sore throat, fatigue, cough. strep was negative- so very quickly diagnosed with sinus infection.. spent maybe 2 minutes with the provider. he didn’t ask any questions.. just prescribed antibiotics and steroids.

This place is amazing! The doctor was absolutely terrific and was willing to help with anything I needed!!

I was referred by my MIL as I am visiting from out of state. I really appreciated the option to fill out paperwork as app on my phone. Waited about 15 minutes and was called back. Nurse was very nice. Test was done and doctor came in confirming my self diagnosis. Named a couple of meds for the condition. Told her Id never heard of them but named what had worked in the past. She said fine and shed call it in right away. I would highly recommend this facility 🙂

Everyone was so helpful. I was so worried because I was going out of town within 2 hours and they got me in quickly. They got my prescription in and I got my medication at the local pharmacy and was on my way.

My experience here was amazing. I am 21 and this was the first time I went to the doctor by myself🫠 I am also terrified of needles and always pass out and I had to get a steroid shot. My doctor and the nurses were so sweet and understanding. They were patient with me and it was a fast process.

1.)The provider who saw me did not introduce herself or give me any identifying information. I had to ask who she was. The then stated her name was Hannah and that she was a Nurse Practitioner. 2.) The young lady doing an EKG on me didnt seem too confident in what she was doing or didnt know how to do it. She did a poor job putting the stickers on me. They kept sticking to her. I didnt have confidence she actually got a correct reading. - Not a good experience.

The check in didnt take long she was very friendly and professional also the wait to see the doctor didnt take that long all my care was taken care of with no problems thanks

Thought it was allergies and that a steroid shot and antibiotic pak would be done. Nope. It was Covid. First time having it. Everyone was very nice.

They got me in and out quick, and Dr. Hudson was professional and knowledgeable.

They were very nice and professional. Listened to my problem and we both agreed on my diagnosis. Rooms were clean. Fast response and I was there only about 20 minutes before Dr would see me. PA was very personable and suggested a good therapy forward for my sinus infection. Fast visit when you get back to the Dr’s offices. So I liked that part about my visit.What I didn’t like:Also went in for a broke foot but didn’t have an X-ray tech there to x-ray my foot on a Friday. Really on a Friday? That was an bummer because I have to go back on Monday to get it x-rayed. Had to suffer through the weekend with a broke ankle.

I was called within 7 minutes of my arrival. The receptionist was professional and courteous. I was called to the back within 15 minutes. The nurse practitioner, Hannah, listened to my concerns and prescribed medication that really helped me. I am very grateful to her. Additionally, I appreciated the cleanliness of the waiting area.

I went in with a sore throat so bad I had to write a note to the receptionist. She immediately gave me the forms to fill out and processed my admittance. I communicated with the staff with a note pad. It went very smoothly, they wasted no time.

Always choice this facility because of the quick, friendly, accurate medical care I receive. It saves me from making an appointment at the VA. They are able to take care of my nom- primary care needs with no hesitation.

I arrived and the receptionist was pleasant as she checked me in. I had an injury and was called back to an exam room within minutes of my arrival. The doctor explained my injury and ordered an X-ray to be sure there were no broken bones. She gave me an ice pack with instructions of what to do to get back to normal. I was in and headed home in less than an hour.

Excellent care from experienced provider when I had trouble getting in to see my own primary provider.

Have visited many times. The staff is always friendly, efficient, and prompt. Ms Hanna is the best!!! Shes treated me from wasp stings, twigs in the eye, lancing painful things, to colds and sinus troubles. She is always spot on with her diagnosis, recommendations, and treatments. I wasnt diagnosed properly. They came in on Tuesday morning After coughing continuously for two days. Hacking up crud from my lungs. First diagnosed with a sinus infection. I was given a steroid shot which didnt do any good and antibiotics. My coughing did not stop. I went to my regular physician on Friday morning after 4 days of no sleep due to continue coughing. My physician did a chest! I was diagnosed with walking pneumonia.

Horrible. I wont nt go back. Cost me $150 for 30 seconds of the doctors time. He already decided what was wrong before he walked in. Did a 10 sec exam, told me it was drainage and prescribed meds saying id be better by morning. Well,,, then I popped a fever, started landing to breath, and coughing my head off. Three days later... Still feel awful!!!! Total waste of my money, but I guess not my time since I was literally in and out of the building in 5 minutes.

I was misdiagnosed at health care express. I ended up being hospitalized and having surgery 2 days after being misdiagnosed by the doctor there. They were very courteous but not professional as far as giving a thorough check of my situation. This type of behavior is totally unacceptable when it comes to the lives of the people in this Marshall community. You guys have to do better 😡. No one should have to go through what Ive been through these last few days. Just breaks my heart 💔💔

I received a burn on my thigh from cooking. Moisture from the crockpot lid splashed on my leg. I received treatment in late November. I returned this week to be evaluated. I got more silver cream and antibiotics. It is finally looking better and healing is happening.

Was not informed of important test results, resulting in taking the wrong antibiotic for a week, severe pain, and at risk of serious complications. When I finally got to speak to a nurse, I was told I was given excuses and lies. While the service was quick, and the employees were kind, I will not return.

Everyone was very friendly to me. I was in a lot of pain and they were patient with me and kind. Alex was especially kind and knowledgeable about what was going on with my back.

I have been having to stay within a certain network and doctors due to workmen’s comp. The doctor they have been having me see just for a signature basically because I pay my primary doctor from before my work accident retired from my last visit until my recent visit. If the logic isn’t obvious, I wasn’t informed or even contacted for a simple opinion or courtesy. Now I have a year long record and can’t even get a prescription for pain relief even though there have been several referrals for such treatment from multiple doctors in different fields over a span of nearly a year. This affects my day to day life and hinders not only by managing my symptoms for pain during recovery but has damaged my overall happiness, leaning towards depression

Friendly atmosphere with office personnel very friendly and helpful and taking patients in a timely manner. Nurse and NP (David) very knowledgeable and thorough. They take interest in making the patient feel as comfortable as possible.

Nurse was very friendly! The doctor that seen me was very patient with me and listened to all my symptoms. Very efficient, gave me directions too the pharmacy being Im new to the area!

Easy to schedule appointment online and complete forms prior to check in which made check in a breeze. Promptly called back to room and taken care of quickly!

Healthcare Express is the best. I am always treated to the best care and immediate attention . I dont go anywhere else when I get sick.Always treated well. This is for general illness. Not emergency room type treatment. More clinical.

I’ve been here several times and have always had an awesome experience until today. Whoever the doc on duty was today was absolutely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a doctor. I just moved to the area permanently and have an appointment to establish a new PCP, I just got out of the hospital yesterday due to insanely high blood pressure and the hospital did nothing other than keep me for 36 hours and I called HE to give them an idea of the situation and asked if they could help me or if I should go back to the ER because again my BP was through the roof. In the past I’ve dealt with Hannah and she has always been amazing, she’s caring, compassionate, and everything you can ask for and more in a healthcare provider but the guy I dealt with today was the worst. After I told him that I had called prior to coming and told them that I was waiting for my appointment with a new PCM he literally asked me why I even came to their office despite the fact that I had taken my blood pressure several times before going and it was reading between 140/97 and 187/116. If you ever go here make sure Hannah is the provider that day because the guy was so impersonal that he didn’t even tell me his name. This place is fantastic as long as Hannah is there if she’s not there to provide care then do yourself a favor and go to Longview.

Have been to this location twice as a walk in. Recieved fast and courteous check in. The nurses and doctors listened to me, understood my concerns and diagnosed appropriately. This will definitely be my go-to for urgent care.

Quick, confident & professional. Appreciated being able to get my Covid test so quickly . This really eased my mind. The steroid shot really helped my body start to feel better. Thanks for being there.

My girlfriend’s son had severally hurt his finger. Rushed to quick care and arrived at 7:30 on Wednesday February 7. Facility was closed. No note or sign, zero explanation. Very upsetting for a mother extremely worried about her child.

The staff and David were all wonderful.

Everyone is always prompt, courteous, and professional. The doctor takes the time to answer your questions and explain anything you dont understand. Plus, the facility is clean and smells lovely.

I always have my labs done here. It saves me time and gas from not having to drive to Longview. The staff is wonderful. I am in and out in less than a half hour. My labs are sent straight to my doctors office.

Ive gone here a few times, but my last experience solidified how I feel and I will never be returning, and will actively warn people to stay away. I visited here earlier this year, severely dehydrated, and was refused a fluid iv by the provider. I ended up going to the ER in Longview where I was treated for dehydration, at very high cost to me. Stay away, they are not interested in your healthcare at all.Edit 5-6-24: There’s nothing to discuss. I was refused treatment based on provider’s prejudice. It cost me a lot of money. I would question the medical ethics of a provider who refuses healthcare because he assumes the patient has ulterior motives. Utterly disgraceful behavior.

From start to finish everyone was very friendly and professional. I made an appointment online and got in at exactly the time my appointment was scheduled. My nurse practitioner was very sweet and understanding and didnt question my ability to know if I had a UTI or not. We are out of town and traveling through so it was wonderful to find a place that would attend our needs immediately.

Quick care, problem addressed and treated. Dr explained everything clearly.

Was given tetanus shot for dog bite receivedthat broke skin with bleeding. Did not have toWait very long for treatment; excellent staff.

I visited this center today for a pretty bad wasp sting I received several days ago that had become infected. They were prompt, professional, friendly and very thorough. I was in and out in about 35-40 minutes with proper treatment and a script for an antibiotic. I must say this is a great clinic! The staff was so nice and I highly recommend this business. Thank you to Healthcare Express!

Oh I am so amazed add everything about this place the friendly staff the cleanliness the comfort comfort in the waiting room the clean bathrooms coffee maker the option to fill out any new patient paperwork while you are on your phone sitting in spacious waiting room.The Entire experience from the phone to the front desk receptionist to the nurse they brought us back to our rooms.On top of that aDown to earth doctor with a great bedside manner who is friendly &well spoken and explained everything to me in laymans terms.I , including my household of 4 will absolutely be back. I cannot forget to mention that Amy prescriptions that he had to call in were awaiting us at the pharmacy by the time we left the office and drove to the pharmacy. Wow.

My daughter cut herself and they had her stitched up and out the door in less than an hour! I would like to add without a single tear.

I was seen fairly promptly after arrival and filling out paperwork . Results came quickly and all staff were caring and attentive.

We made an appointment for myself and my husband within 20 minutes of each other. There was a 40 minute delay and that was disappointing, but we were both seen at the same time and got good and efficient attention and treatment.

As usual the experience was good.Everyone was really nice and professional. They checked me out ran tests... told me what the tests results were... and what I needed to do... good experience...

This place is not a good place to go to if youre looking for urgent care😒. How you give someone 2 shots in the hip and forget to put the bandage on them?! I was in and out less than 20 minutes. Im still not doing well. Ill be going to my primary Dr soon.

Healthcare Express Urgent Care in Marshall, TX is excellent. All of the healthcare providers are kind, caring, and professional. I have CHF and lung issues, which cause breathing problems, especially during change of seasons. They have kept me out of the hospital several times.

It was great, everyone is so sweet as always. They got me in quick took care of me and got me out. Thank y’all for taken care of me!

Due to husband having cancer, the facility accommodated us by coming out to our vehicle and administering the rapid covid-19 test to all 4 of us! Got the results in a timely manner and was given a hard copy to take back to my husband’s oncology.Thank you very much. I recommend your services most highly!

This place was great! We were out of town with a youth group. One of our kids hurt their foot. We got there at 8 and were in and out in less than an hour. Did x-rays got a boot and crutches and a disk to take back to our doctor. Very kind doctors and staff.

Update: I needed a rapid covid test for an upcoming trip out of state and got it done relatively easy here. They were pretty busy but I was in and out and just under an hour so not too much inconvenience.Got seen pretty quick and the service was excellent. The staff all seemed to really care about the patient. I dont remember all their names but I specifically wanted to say thank you to Adriana. I had a clogged ear with impacted wax. No amount of drops or flushing at home was doing the trick. They all cleaned it and took turns trying to open the ear, and made sure they all knew exactly what the problem was.routine things like this are a pain in the neck with your primary physician. long waits for appointments and even then you may have to get a referral to someone else which takes even longer. Im not even in my home area at the moment as Im on vacation. I was in and out in under an hour and the problem is fixed. Cant thank your staff enough!

Staff is very Welcoming, when you arrive. I’ve been twice and never waited over 5-7mins when I’ve made appointments online. Going back the staff is amazing and friendly.

The medical staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The facilities were clean and the waiting room was comfortable, with free coffee. I didnt have to wait for more than 10 minutes to be seen for a walk-in. The overall experience for a medical appointment was enjoyable. I would recommend this establishment.

It was the day after Christmas and Id signed up on the app.for a 2pm visit, so as I pulled up in the parking lot I saw at least 20 cars. I said to myself thats theres no way that I was going tobe able to get in an a timely manner. the app said that I was already checked in but I as stood in a line that had twice the people then cars in the parking lot! I Dare to say that as I was not in a good mood after being sick and all, but all of a sudden I heard my name called ! I was actually the 3rd or 4th person in line as the app says ..so note to self WORK the app.and to the staff. Thank you so much for all that you do. It takes certain person that cares enough to want to put themselves through a day like that!Thank You so much for the Professionalism and Courtesy that you displayed!Eugen King

I HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH DR. HUDSON!! WOULDNT LISTEN TO ME AT ALL!!!!!!! GOING TO TELL ME WHATS HE HAS SEEN FOR YEARS. WHEN I STEPPED ON SOME WOOD AND NEEDED IT OUT MY FOOT. I WENT TO ANOTHER PLACE WHO TOOK IT OUT!!! DONT KNOW WHAT DR. HUDSON WAS GOING THROUGH. BUT, HE WONT HAVE TO WORRY WITH SEEING ME AGAIN!!! THE WORST SERVICE IVE EVER GOT GOING THERE AND HAVE BEEN THERE BEFORE

Will never go here again since the doctor I was given was very rude and verbally abusive with his comments during my visit. Dr. Bryan or however his name is spelt is a very rude and improfessional man who should not be in the medical field with the way he treats patients. When trying to seek treatment for what I believe to be a UTI he rudely asked me about allowing a blood test to be done to prove he is a medical professional when I simply asked if the water I drank prior to checking in and providing a urine sample could of diluted the urine causing a false negative. He then proceeded to tell me that painful urination is just a common symptom of pregnancy and accused me of just wanting a UTI then asked me How do you suggest I go about giving you one? When I pointed out that painful urination is not a common symptom that I know about and that no other doctors I have seen during any of my pregnancies have pointed out as such he then rudely informed my that It is I must have missed that day in medical school. When I told him he was really rude he gave me some kind of hand gesture while stomping off. I mentioned this to the clerk while checking out and she informed me there was nothing she could do to help me. So I will be filing a complaint against this Dr with the state and I am going to refuse to pay the bill for this service as I am not paying over $100 just to have been verbally abused the entire time just because I had questions and concerns about what I was being told. Especially when he makes a comment that can be taken as slightly sexual in nature seeing as UTI is commonly caused by not emptying the bladder or not peeing after sexual intercourse.

Let me first say that I am quite skeptical of new medical facilities - too many bad experiences - but I will NOT be adding Healthcare Express to the list of those. We’ve been hesitant to find care here since we moved from DFW three years ago, but I’m so happy I found this place.I walked in at 1:30 pm and there were five people in the waiting room (I won’t lie - I groaned), but I walked out at 2:37. From check-in to check-out, the staff was friendly and, while professional, they were sincere and authentic. The personalities were easy and fun. Tia and Danielle were especially wonderful. I wish I could remember the NP’s name, but she was awesome as well.Highly recommend if you want to be “on the mend” quickly.
