Dr. Heit was the physician on call for the birth of my daughter. I hadn’t met him previously. He was kind, personable, calm and thorough. It was clearly a very busy weekend for him and despite delivering at 4am, he didn’t make me feel rushed or like a burden at all. Would highly recommend!

Dr. Heit does not care about his patients. This year I was scheduled to get an IUD inserted. I asked him multiple times if the IUD would make me gain weight. He said that it was impossible to gain more than a couple pounds. Also, I trusted him because I had previously had a horrible experience with another OBGYN (failed IUD insertion). I didn’t want to gain weight because I am muscular and didn’t want the weight gain to take away from said muscles. And I am a teenage girl whose mind is still developing and, thus, sensitive about her body. I had also previously been on several different birth control pills that made me depressed and suicidal, and when I told Dr. Heit this, he seemed to care. I shouldn’t have trusted him, though. We scheduled a date to get my IUD inserted, but a week before the appointment, the office called, saying that Dr. Heit was going to be on vacation. Because of this unprofessional situation, I was left feeling extremely anxious. I had strangers insert the IUD (they were unsurprisingly better than Dr. Heit himself), while Dr. Heit was at a beach somewhere. In the first week of having the IUD, I gained 5 pounds. In the following three months, I gained 20 pounds. So, being extremely dissatisfied, I scheduled a meeting with Dr. Heit to see what had happened. I sat in the room with him and sobbed for 20 minutes while he sat there. He said there is no way the IUD made me gain the weight; it had to be the medication I was on. For your information, I have been on both my medications for over two years at this point with zero issues. He continued to deny my thoughts about the weight gain, and he even told me to go on WEIGHT WATCHERS. I am an eighteen-year-old girl that you’re telling to go on weight watches because of your mistakes. He then said that I could try to get the copper IUD, like he was trying to upsell me instead of being my doctor and caring about me. So, finally, I scheduled an appointment to get my IUD out. About a week before my appointment, the office called me, saying that Dr. Heit moved my appointment because another patient wanted my appointment time for their surgery. I understand that surgery is a tough and big deal, but I had already booked my appointment. You don’t change someone’s appointment just because you think there is something else more important. Even if it is more important. That just told me that he truly didn’t care about me. So, to get my IUD out, I decided to go to the doctor that delivered me. Not like Dr. Heit, this doctor apologized for Dr. Heit’s actions and even hugged me. Please do not invest your time or money into this man. He is so annoying. Lastly, after getting the IUD out, I lost 10 pounds in one week.

Dr. Heit is very professional but personable. He made me feel very comfortable during my appointment. I’ve never had any issues at the office and the front desk ladies are always so sweet. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an OBGYN!

My visit went very well. From my entry into their suite, everything is professional and welcoming - staff and decor. Dr. Heit’s conversation was pleasant and informative, explaining what to expect, and checking to minimize my level of discomfort.While most don’t like going to the doctor, I am glad for the positive experience and like this practice and it’s members. I’ve been going to Dr. Heit for years. Very gentle and caring doctor. I had the IUD inserted recently. He explained the process before hand. He also kept asking me if I was okay. The pain was terrible, but that’s expected for only taking 2 ibuprofen an hour before, which is what you’re told to do. Recommend this doctor for every lady out there. It’s never an uncomfortable environment, he answers all your questions and is very experienced.

Dr Heit is great! I appreciate his concerns and compassion for his patients. I also enjoy all of the staff at the office who are so pleasant to work with for any questions or concerns I may have.

Dr. Heit is a great Doctor who helped me a lot over the years. He performed (2) successful surgeries for me (1) of them robotic and they came out perfectly. He also gave me excellent care in between. He has a great staff and they all carry themselves very professionally! Had I not moved out of state, hed still be my OBGYN! Highly recommend!

I Highly recommend Dr. Heit! He is extremely knowledgeable and has great bed side manner. Dr. Heit made my wife feel very comfortable and safe throughout her pregnancy and delivery.This was our 3rd baby. In my wife’s words this was the easiest delivery and recovery of all our children. I’m a longtime patient of Dr Heit & wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! Everyone is always super friendly & helpful & make each experience enjoyable.

Its difficult to get simple things, such as appointments, scheduled. The most frustrating thing is that it can take all day to reach a person to discuss an issue. I schedule 2 appointments per year for testing, 6 months apart. That has been an amazingly difficult process, incorrect scheduling, too many appointments scheduled, etc. I had some bloodwork done this year and there were several tests I requested that didnt get done somehow, although the doctors notes indicates the tests were requested. I tried to schedule an appointment and the front desk person said I cant schedule one due to a collections item on my account. They have my HSA credit card *on file* for all charges. Ive never had an overdue bill to my knowledge. Ive had appointments at their office since then - no one has ever mentioned anything about outstanding billing, in fact they charge up front for appointments. Odd.

I moved back home to Colorado 3 years ago and come back once a year to see Dr Heit. He’s awesome and there’s no reason to try anyone else even out of convenience
