NextCare Urgent Care Lake Havasu City

I scheduled an appointment for 3:30 and wasn’t seen until 5:30. The girl at the front desk was kinda rude and just kept telling people to either wait or come back another time. When I finally got to see the nurse practitioner, he was a joke. All he did was talk and talk and talk about his life and the state of our country rather than address my medical issue. When I finally got to explain what was wrong, he literally took out his phone and googled what would work best for my situation. Right in front of me! Then he couldn’t order labs or tests because that’s “above his pay grade” so I’ll need to have tests done through my PCP. Then on the way out they charged me $55 even though my copay through my insurance is only $35. I argued with the rude desk girl about the price and all she kept saying was I’m responsible for payment at the time of the service. I left at 7:10 for my 3:30 appointment. I will never return and will scream from the rooftops to tell others to stay away from this scam of a medical facility!

I scheduled my appointment a few hours after my initial contact with Next Care. About an hour or hour and half before my appointment I received a reminder message for my upcoming appointment. I was also given the opportunity to do my paperwork online before I came in. I really liked that option. The staff was great. Lindsey and Dr. Jared Rodriguez were great. They bother are very attentive and genuine. I hope they are both still at my location the next time I visit my local Next Care location.

I have been seen at NextCare Urgent Care twice in the past few months. The great care began with the front desk receptionist, continued with the in-take nurse, then to the on to the doctors, Ryan Zigler & Jared Rodriguez. Kind, compassionate, & willing to listen.

Unfortunately my husband or myself have reason to visit this facility a few times a year.FORTUNATELY we are always received by kind & professional personal . Lindsey & Jared , just to name a few.Keep up the great work y’all.:)P.S. made an appointment on their app if you have the chance.You’ll cut down the wait time;)

Walked right in as I had an appointment and maybe waited 5min if that... Stat nurse was friendly and efficient. Met with Dr Rick and he was very informative.  Read me my test results and gave me the antibiotic and out the door I went.  Dr was very nice and patient ... recommend him and this facility !

Great experience. Staff is super friendly, it was quiet and clean. Walked in and the gal made an appt and gave me paperwork to fill out to bring back so you don’t have to wait. Got called back fairly quickly to my appt time. Just very nice and patient nurse, the Dr came in and talked to me for awhile and educated me on strep throat, he didn’t rush me out at all, so that was actually cool. They put my prescription in immediately to the pharmacy, everything went smooth! Definitely highly recommend!! Thank you!!

I fell and split my arm wide open needing 19 stitches. DR Jarod was amazing. And the nurses helping before and after were very sweet and helpful. The front staff were also friendly and got the paperwork done quickly.I would definitely recommend this place.

I think from the get-go from the girl at the front desk who is so friendly and present was a great start. Seems like in todays world. No one seems to show they care or theyre even listening, but with her and then the doctor my visit was wham Bam and I was in there and did the paperwork and out very quickly not that my injury required, a lot of time, but the doctor that I had or the nurse was excellent. She was thorough and explained to me my hi, my situation and was very kind and concerning as a doctor or nurse made me feel confident I was being taken care of and my needs were being met.I will always go back there advise my friends and family the same. I dont think there can be anybody out here better.Thank you so much!!!❤️

Caregivers are great! first class! Just isn’t enough of them. Long wait times.Your website showed me there was 0 people waiting. Drove to the site finding I had a 3 1/2 hour wait! I wasted a 15 mile drive time only to go back home.

I went there two days earlier and was told I had asthma. Then yesterday when I went there, I was told I had pneumonia that if it didn’t get better, I’d have to go to the hospital. However, there was no follow up. No other suggestions on what to do when I went home other than take medication I’ve never had pneumonia before so I don’t really know what to do.

Every year I get a sinus/respiratory type infection and I get treated with a Z-Pak and ivermectin. This has been an effective use to treat my symptoms for years. When seeing the nurse practitioner, she insisted that she would not give me ivermectin or a Z-Pak due to the fact that ivermectin is a “horse dewormer“. She explained to me that her 25 years of experience she would not prescribe these drugs for my symptoms. It should be noted. She kept referring to the drug ivermectin as a “horse dewormer”. If she has 25 years of experience, she would know that this is not the only thing that ivermectin is used for. Someone needs to teach this nurse practitioner that’s been in the business for 25 years about medications and drugs because she is highly delusional. I walked out with no prescriptions because they refuse to give me anything. I would not recommend going to this urgent care to anyone.

It was pathetic. I made a appointment & then was told that I had to go there & do that 1st.Answer phones, help costumers.The United States needs to turn it up a few notches.PS, clean more!Sad!Be better.

I went in and they set me up with an appt but I still had to wait a while to be called in and then to see the dr...wasnt a big deal as it is an urgent care. Medical.staff was friendly but as I was checking out I asked if the prescription would be sent that afternoon and they said it would be. It was never sent out so I didnt get the antibiotics I needed as my throat and ear pain became worse. They were closed for the holiday weekend so I had to get another appt on teledoc to get the antibiotics prescribed. The end.

I was having severe lower abdominal pain but assumed it was gas. I was wrong and at 5am was able to schedule a same day appointment. The staff was very kind and friendly. John was attentive to my specific needs and I felt seen and heard. The open communication was organic. He was able to help me with the pain and my next day at work was a lot more doable than if I waited to go. It was a busy day for them and I was still able to be out in 1h30m, which is outstanding. They had my prescription already called in all I had to do was pick it up. I appreciate all the time and consideration given to me. I do recommend them seeing as I havent gone to my primary since going to NextCare. I hope they are able to keep up that level of care and it is equally appreciated back.

Made an appointment for wheezing, coughing, etc. got in fairly quickly and did not have to wait long to be treated. It was a good experience.

I made an appointment for 2pm and when I showed up the office door had a sign saying they were closed due to staff shortages. Why did it let me make an appointment and no one contacting those people that made appointments about the sudden closure? Thankfully, there was another urgent care in town that I will be using from now on.

Quick and friendly experience. Everyone very nice. And I felt well taken care of. Low on score because it took them more than 2 hours to transfer the medical info on in the system to the pharmacy! The wait is just so unnecessary and frustrating!

I came in with a sore throat and cough. The appointment went well. Both the front office and back office staff were professional and efficient. I felt heard. Everything was explained throughly and I did not feel rushed.

Quick and easy visit. X-ray tech was there so I was able to see if I had broken anything. PA was super kind, can’t remember his name, but very good communication during the whole process.

My daughter hadnt been feeling well and she told us it was time to see a doctor. I was able to book an appointment online with ease for the following day. We filled out the paperwork online. The next day we drove up and checked in minutes before our scheduled time. Within 10 minutes they called us back and took her vitals. From front office staff to the Nurse and the Doctor everyone made my 8 year old daughter feel loved and listened to. Amazing Care and I am so grateful to them for being so personable and professional. Thank you all. Highly recommended.

After returning home from Italy vacation, i was very sick. I did home Covid test, it was positive. NextCare confirmed, they gave me Paxovid & cough perscription. Promptly sent me on my way to get well :-)

Went to Urgent Care on a Saturday. Had an appointment time for 11:30. It took 15-20 minutes after that to be seen, but once in the exam room care was efficient. Honestly, staff wasnt friendly, but not rude either. So I am giving them 5 stars for performing their roles competently and getting the correct diagnosis. I would use them again, if needed, because I trust the company name.

The medical assistant was excellent. She took a thorough history. She listened.The provider was rude, dismissive. He cut me and my husband off while we were answering questions. We were not being too chatty either.

Made an appointment same day for my son who hurt his wrist in school- we were in and out in no time- the nurse was AWESOME! Very friendly and made us have a great experience

The doctor was very kind and personableI really appreciated him listening to me and relating to me as a person and his treatment plan for me as well. I’m stubborn and got hit by a car a week and a half ago and just now started to hurt and he took care of what I needed

I was seen promptly and treated with kindness. The doctor was respectful and perscribed the medicine I needed. All staff was wonderful and very profesional.

John Cary PA needs a lesson in bedside manner. I have never in my life been treated by a medical professional the way I was treated by him. And I work in a hospital! We were there for a seizure med refill and at first he told me I was lying about her dose, so I gave him her medication bottles. Offered her entire history from the pharmacy and he still managed to make me bawl my eyes out in front of my daughter before we left. Unbelievable. Worst medical staff ever.

This place is extremely disorganized. The customer service representatives do not follow instructions and are rude to customers. I talked to a few representatives and sent emails and several times they could not get the instructions correct for a pre-employment physical and drug test.

The visit went well and the doctor was very pleasant. He took his time with me and he listened to me. Over all I was happy with my visit.

Scheduled online for sports physical. Showed up early (9:40 to a 10:00 appointment time)checked in online went inside to make sure that was all I needed to do. All urgent care intake form were completed online. Receptionist asked for id and asked me to fill in my portion of the physical paperwork from the school. So we waited around an hour to be seen for a SCHEDULED appointment. Receptionist seemed very annoyed with me(not really a complaint but not very friendly) maybe I made her upset with something I did I cant hear well and couldnt hardly hear or understand what she was saying behind the glass. Nurse brought us back and was nice began the exam and let us know the PA would be in shortly. The PA comes in talking asking if I filled this out and as he come in shows me the bottom of the school paper work. It asked what clinic or provider was seen and I put NEXT CARE URGENT CARE. He was super irritated and ran out came back in with a blank form and told me to refill it out and then left for like 30 minutes, literally the part he wanted me to fill in was her name and the rest was the actual clinical exam form. Finally returned and was nice this time and took 10 minutes to complete exam. The form he had me redo also had another page (on the backside) to it that I filled out that did not get returned to me.I have no desire to return. I have been there multiple times through out the last 6 years that we have lived here and never been treated like this.It is absurd to take nearly 2 hours for a sports physical.

I wish I had done a review all the other times and so I’m finally getting it done this time; the previous visits have been great.I will speak details on today’s great experience below. The staff have always been kind, compassionate, and thoughtful to me, my kids and hubby during any of our visits. They do their absolute best to make the visit quick and efficient while still validating and handling mine and my family’s health needs during that trip no matter the reason—a cold/flu or like today for me a knee and back injury from trying to lift something extremely heavy during a freak accident—and all while on an adrenaline rush in the traumatic event I was in.They do such a great job all the way around and the entire staff—under staffed today/only 3 on shift : the intake desk rep, nurse and doctor. They ALL THREE WERE FANTASTIC TODAY! Huge thanks to their dedication and commitment to their jobs.

This is absolutely the WORST clinic I’ve ever been to in my entire life. I had a 1:30 appt made in advance that simply for a drug test and TB test. I had to go on my break from work so my time was limited. At 2:30 I had STILL not been seen. I kept being told it would be a few more minutes and the time just ticked away and no one called me. When I complained they finally got me in but the nurse -Kathy was extremely rude and she did a terrible job with the TB -it was very painful and should not be. I went back on Sunday to have my TB read-which literally only takes TWO SECONDS. All they have to do is look at your arm. and she (Kathy again)let a bunch of patients in front of me. When all she literally needed to do was look at my arm and let me go. I’ve had that test done probably 20 times and I’ve never waited so long just for a reading. I had to wait for three patients to be done with their appointments before she simply glanced at my arm. They should let her go. She should not even the business of helping people.

Everyone there was very nice and professional. There was virtually no wait time as I had scheduled an appt. online. Highly recommend!!

This place was efficient, we were walk-ins so the wait time was a little long but that’s normal so just had to calm my baby girl since she is in a lot of pain. Once we got called back everyone was super nice and friendly, so sweet to my daughter and the DR was amazing! I will definitely be going back there.

Nurse practitioner John was extremely attentive and professional.Assistant Lindsey administered an injection that I barely felt and maintained a pleasant and caring demeanor throughout the visit.

Walked into clinic without appointment. Admission was quick and easy. Nurses were fast, friendly, listened, and took vitals quickly. Labs were done super fast while I met with the doctor: very fast results. Office was clean with plenty of comfortable chairs. Overall, it was exactly what I needed to get back to my vacation visit to Lake Havasu…

I recently went to Next Care after Urgent Care after a bad fall, and I have to say, their care was exceptional. Christa, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being throughout the visit. Her gentle and compassionate approach truly made a difference. I highly recommend Next Care for their professionalism and the outstanding care they provide.

Best Urgent Care I have ever experienced! Same day appointment was made on line. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Nurse, Chrissy (sp?)greeted me with a smile and promptly took me to the exam room explaining where and what was next. She gathered all the information the doctor needed and said he would be in directly. The doctor, Jerry I think, was great! He listened to me and did an exam. He prescribed medication and explained what was wrong and what I needed to do with meds and rest. Everything worked our well and within 24 hours I was feeling much better. I would highly recommend this Next Care facility to anyone. I am a grateful patient!

Cut my foot on a boat propeller and tried to bandage it myself but the next day was in a lot of pain and went to urgent care. Being 5 hours from home on vacation, I was nervous about going to a care facility I’m not familiar with. I could not have been happier with the care I received. Was seen within 15 minutes. Both ladies that helped me were extremely kind and gave great advice on how to help heal the wound.

I had the best care from the receptionist who was very pleasant, the nurse who was so,so sweet and empathetic and last but not least the most wonderful doctor who has the most amazing eyes. Lol. Had to put that down as they were very dreamy. Ok enough of that. I am a new person today. I had a pinch nerve anyone thats ever experienced that know how excruciating painful that is. I was prescribed antiflamatory medication and what a relief. I am so happy and I thanked the good lord over and over again. God bless the staff at next care. You are all earths angels.

Very pleased with the doctor and other staff. Thorough and nice. I purposely made an appointment because I waited so long last time. I arrived early so that extra time was on me, but I wasn’t taken into a room until about 45 minutes after my appointment. I guess they take the walk-ins and appointments as they get there. Appointment dont mean anything.

I have a phobia of any medical facility, which makes it very difficult to make an appointment. Because I had an emergency, I went to NextCare Urgent Care. It was very easy to schedule a same day appointment and fill out the paperwork on my phone. Upon arrival I was greeted politely by Anela. She checked me in in less than a minute. Then I was examined by the provider, John Cary. I wished he could be my regular primary physician. Its been so long since Ive had a medical professional that was so polite, attentive to the situation at hand, listens carefully, and explain the diagnosis in such a way that you have no other choice but to understand. John Cary, in my opinion, gives the true meaning to good bedside manners. I should actually say, IMPECCABLE bedside manners. I speak truthfully when I say thanks to professionals like John Cary and Anela, easing my phobia, I was able to receive the help I needed. If you want great care, try NextCare Urgent Care .

Went in for an eye infection, which I have suffered from several times before. From out of town so I had someone drive to my house and gather all the medication eye drops I had, send pictures to me, and during my appointment the doctor wouldnt listen and kept telling me it was just allergies. NO IT WASNT. No help what do ever.

I went into Nextcare in Lake Havasu. I had a double fusion 4.5 months ago and everything was great until I moved wrong. John, the PA at urgent care would ask me questions repeatedly, He wanted to see where it hurt. He pressed on the area next to my spine and said you must not be in very much pain because you didnt even flinch. Basically telling me I wasnt in pain!! Horrible bedside manner. I am so glad I dont have to ever deal with him anymore. By the way- I never asked him for pain meds.

They are amazing.They.Were with me when I had my fall a couple of years ago.And I go to them with all my health needs.Because.My doctor takes 2 weeks or longer to get in. Some things just cant wait.

The appointment was useless. We waited for over an hour past the appointment time. Then another 30 minutes for a 5 minutes results. I think we were forgotten about while in the exam room.

Nice ppl. Quick and to the point. Only disappointment was that I scheduled an appointment thinking they put walk ins in around appointments and that was not the case. Still ended up waiting 1 1/2 past my appt to see anyone. But again, took care of me well so I do appreciate them.

Online, it showed there were 0 people waiting, but I booked the next appointment at 9:40 before I drove to the office. There were 2 people in the lobby when we arrived at 9:30 and one person checked in after me. I was taken back to the room at 9:41. Right on time. My vitals were taken and I was told there were two people ahead of me. I was in the he room for an hour and twenty minutes before the provider came in to see me. Im not sure if I got overlooked or what, but I was left wondering what the point of having an appointment was. I just wish someone had let me know what was going on while waiting well beyond my appointment time. I overheard the staff talking and heard them say that four patients had left. Ive always had great service at this location in the past, so Im hoping this was just a fluke.

My visit to NextCare was by far, the WORST experience at an urgent care Ive ever had in my life! I was seen on December 23, 2023.The only reason I put 1-star is because they squeezed me in when they werent allowing walk-ins during the 2023 holiday season, due to lack of doctors on staff at the time. Otherwise, my rating would have been zero stars.Back to my sickness.....I clearly had bronchitis. All my symptoms were in my chest, not in my nose/face. No plugged nose or runny nose, all in my chest with a massive cough and very little sleep.They ran plenty of tests....I was negative for Covid, flu, and strep.First, the P.A. (John Cary) was a freaking joke! When I was in the examining room, my chest was all red because I had just had a cough-attack before I went into this facility. He asked if I had any allergies. I told him no and why was he asking. He said well your chest is all red, and how did you not see it, dont you have a mirror. What a jerk!! I am super sick and sleep deprived, and hes asking why I didnt know my chest was red.Second, Dr. John prescribed me coughed drops (Cepacol) that I could buy over the counter and then at the last minute, he prescribed me a nasal spray (Budesonide) that I didnt need. Its still in the box, unopened. Btw, what doctor prescribes cough drops as part of the treatment plan for bronchitis?! Meaning, I could buy them over the counter myself and had been.After his so called, evaluation of me he was sitting at his desk and paying more attention to a sick employee, providing her next steps (what tests she should have run) and her treatment options rather than worrying about MY treatment plan. I know this because the room I was in, the door was open.....I could see him and hear everything they were discussing.Three days later, Im still sicker than a dog! I go visit the TrueCare urgent care and thank god, they knew what they were doing. I had an x-ray done and the doctor prescribed me a cough syrup and anti-biotic. That at least got me on the road to recovery.However fast forward to January 5, 2024, I had to visit an urgent care when I got home to Seattle, to learn that I had coughed so much and so violently, that I cracked two ribs. They are still healing. If I would have received decent medical treatment from NextCare in the first place, then maybe the second and third urgent care visits wouldnt have been necessary.Avoid NextCare and go to TrueCare next time you are sick in Lake Havasu!Btw, these are the urgent care charges:- NextCare charged my insurance co $430 (office visit) + $235 (labs) total = $685- TrueCare charged my insurance co $251 (office visit) + $66 (x-ray) total = $317Choose wisely!!

My symptoms were Shortness of Breath from complications with Asthma. I thought I might have Pneumonia so they gave me a dose of Antibiotics just in case.Overall Great Experience. I was able to fill out my intake forms online. The sent me a text with a link. So, I went to the coffee shop and filled it out. when I came back for my appointment time I got right in. Even if you wanted to wait in your car. its WAY Better than sitting in a waiting room trying to hold back your cough.When they saw me it was straight to the point. they were nice yet direct. I dont have insurance and I feel the out of pocket pay was very fair. Will Definitely recommend

Ever wonder what medical treatment looks like at an Indian reservation? Well, this comes close.No doctors on site, they have to call someone and relay your symptoms through a nurse... seriously? What is wrong with this town??Its filled with nothing but elderly and the lack of any sort of help for them is non existent.There should be an ethics check on this towns entire healthcare system because it is in need of a serious overhaul, its like going back in time and not in a good way

Was a super easy visit for us. I made an appointment online the night before and checked in when I got there for my appointment. We did have to wait in the car after we checked in with the front desk, but I definitely preferred this due to how busy it was. Did have to wait for about 30 minutes, but with walk-ins before us I totally understood. The doctor and nurses were great with my 5 year old son and they communicated nicely to get to the problem. 10/10 in my book.

Need a CAT to determine whats going on with pain. Butb was told they cannot order it so now I am sitting in ER room! They should advise patients ahead of time that they cannot order testing.

Appreciated the professional and speedy service of both the staff and the doctor. Would definitely use again.

Made online appt at 3, appt at 5. In and out in 30 min. Was impressed with service and attending professional, Ryan. Gave detailed diagnosis and instructions. Got call next day with XRay results and more instructions. Again, impressed. Would recommend. Wanted to also add that having any health issues in Lake Havasu around 5 pm is not a good. Choices are limited. X-rays are limited to Hospital ER unless you can wait til 7 am for AZ Coast.

I went in without an appointment and was in and out within an hour, 15 minutes. My right wrist was hurt and one of the staff came out and filled out my paperwork for me asking me the questions. I couldnt write and this was so helpful. She was very patient with me. I was taken back into a room within 30 minutes and PA Janet came in shortly. She was thorough in her questions and checking out my wrist feeling it needed to be xrayed. She told me as soon as the results got to her she would call me with the results.My visit today was made as comfortable yet thorough as could be considering my pain and fear. Nextcare is my first choice whenever I need care asap. Thank you to all of the staff for your kindness.

Worst place I have ever been! Never a doctor there always a nurse practitioner, then they refuse to help you if you have any kind of chronic conditions. Staff is extremely rude and the place and lobby are not clean! Would never go here again.

I really loved my visit. It was my first time attending the hospital without my parents #adulting and the doctor was extremely nice. The staff were friendly and were very helpful.

Great service. Very professional. Wait time was minimal. Examination confirm expected issues and treatment given to give quick relief and treatment plan. Scripts discussed and sent to be filled. I was in and out in less than 40 minutes had great service place was clean. Things went like planned. Awesome job.

Appointment was very easy to make and the staff was very friendly and nice and efficient. The only problem I had was I waited 25 minutes to be called for triage then I waited 45 minutes in the office for the doctor to come see me. Then I waited another 25 minutes for them to come give me a shot and then I waited 10 minutes for the doctor to finish up with my paperwork. The whole time I’m listening to the staff outside of the door laughing and joking and seeming to have a very nice time. I understand it’s all perception but I was very sick otherwise I I would have gone out and said some thing.

Place was a joke. Rush to get in there before they close, just to find out they dont even have a doctor or anyone that can see me in there at all. Not for another two days would they have a provider in in office. They said they were doing virtual appointments only and that I could come back Wednesday, if I needed a referral for x-rays. At least have it posted on the website or something that theres no provider instead of wasting peoples time!

Its the best to book your appointment online through the solve app for your appointment, because its faster and you are not waiting in the wait room with other sick people ,no offense . I always go here for myself and children the past 6 years and have always been able to get the proper care and help that we need. I recommend this place over true care urgent care ,I was not happy at true care. Nextcare urgent care is the way to go !

I was stung by something (wasp, bee?) while on vacation. My arm swelled up and I wanted to get it checked out as it was sore and red and just kept getting worse after 24 hours. I was out of state and thought that might slow down the processing. They were friendly and fast. From the guy that greeted me, (friendly and thorough) to the lady that brought me back to my room, to the gentleman who checked me out. Everyone was very nice and made me feel at ease. It was very efficient and quick. I was in and out with two shots and a prescription called in within 30 minutes. I was expecting a long wait and drawn out process. I was very pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend. I am at peace knowing I’ve been checked out and treated. Great job NextCare!

The staff and PA I saw were wonderful. My problem was helped with respect, and my input was asked for and listened to. I would be happier if it was pointed out before the visit, that my share of cost would be due then. It was probably stated, but I had always been billed in the past.

It took an hour to an hour and a half to get in, but the doctor was very pleasant and took care of my sinus issues quickly and efficiently.

Absolutely wonderful staff! The doctor was so gentle with my 5 year old who had tested positive for covid and then he found he also had strep on top of it all. They were quick and friendly! Great place to go to Urgent care!

Well, it didn’t go very good because the people at this location I went to never submitted the chain of custody paperwork I gave them. Now I have to go back next week and redo my random drug screen.

Staff very professional, friendly and competent. Short notice to get in for an appointment and they were quite accommodating. I will definitely utilize this facility again.

Update: 19Apr2021, I had an appointment and waited over 30 mins when almost no one was there. Staff was nice but the nurse was super slow. She was typing up notes when we were brought to the back. Took her another 20 mins to see me. They were nice enough but I didn’t feel the same level of care. Hope it was just an “off” day!Jan 2020: Wow! Amazing service and almost no wait time! All the staff and the doctor were very nice. I felt cared for and respected the entire time! I would HIGHLY recommend this place and will definitely come again if the need arises!

I was greeted immediately by the receptionist, very pleased. The doctor came in and I was asked lots of questions and checked over. Great and pleasant visit.

Facility was super clean and I was seen right away. No long wait like I thought I’d have. The doctor and his PA we’re both great.

Visit 2: Feb 2019... I won’t go into detail about my second visit here I will just say that it was as efficient and had friendly service just like the first trip a month ago. I still recommend this place!Visit 1: Jan 2019 .... I went online at 1am and set an appointment for 8 am. Arrived at 7:45. Filled out a short form. Chatted with some really nice folks at the reception desk. Saw doc at 8. Tested for strep. Results in 6 minutes. Paid my bill and was in my car by 8:30, and headed to CVS to pick up prescriptions that were submitted electronically. Perfect. Highly recommend this place.

Even after I scheduled my appointment we sat for an hour before we got in to see the doctor and that made me late to pick my husband up from work. 😠 Just make sure youre up to date with your paperwork. (Address, phone #, insurance, pharmacy and such) You can get it all done online and check-in before you even leave your house.

I was very impressed with my experience at NextCare. I did have a wait but it was well worth it for the service I received. The Nurse and Doctor were very professional and knew their business. I felt that the care I got was fantastic. I will use them again if I need medical help.They do an excellent job and take Care of your problem quickly and accurately.

I am basically a tourist, and on the move when it can time to have some stitches taken out. NextCare took me right in. It was very easy to get pre-checked in on- line. Everyone was very friendly and professional. They actually took me in ahead of my appointment and got right to work. I’m so impressed with all the people and the service they provided me.

Editing review because I booked an appointment and when I checked in 10 min early I waited to go in, once inside i was told my wait time was 30-45 min. I feel like if you have a reserved time, you should honor that. It appears these days no matter what facility you go to you will always have this issue. Why do you give out appointment times if you dont plan to honor them? The place is clean the staff is nice and its easy to find otherwise.

I adored Melody in front. She is was super helpful. Was able to answer all my questions. Made us feel welcomed and cared about. The Doctor and nurses were friendly and Attentive. The Doctor Thoroughly checked my child. Very happy with my experience! Thank you!

The waiting room wait was short. After being called the nurse and doctor came in quickly. We were in and out in a matter of minutes. Their attention to detail was precise. Although my daughter is 11 they treated her to a lollipop and a sticker. It made us smile. Very nice and professional from the front office to the back staff.

Quick and easy 😊 went in for a vivid test to be on the safe side got my results in like 15 minutes staff was very friendly and the doctor was amazing. 10/10 recommend

My experience there today was awesome. The girls in the front were very sweet and professional, and the female doctor who was the only one on today, had a great attitude. I actually got the feeling that she really liked her job lol you dont see much of that anymore.

My appt was great, pleasant staff, very little wait time & while I was there feeling sick so getting covid tested the doctor dug deeper to find I am very dehydrated & is testing my kidney function. I am pleasantly surprised. I have never had such a good experience with an Urgent Care facility before. I would recommend this one!

Very disappointed in the virtual visit service. Made an appointment 24 hours in advance received no information from them on signing in. Called 5 minutes prior to the virtual appointment and was told just stay by your phone. Made 2 other calls to them to finally be told you have to make a new appointment. I have scheduled walk in appointments and the service was great, but I would not recommend their virtual visits especially if you are short on time. I had to schedule with another Urgent Care.

I am new to town and needed medical care.I stopped in filled out paperwork, I was told it would be approximately a 45 minute wait it was less than a 1/2 hour wait.It was perfect, everyone in the office was very polite and great to work with it was the 1st time using my insurance cards so the gal helped me through that.The doctor was in the room immediately, I had my diagnosis and was on the way to the pharmacy.I would totally recommend urgent care to anyoneThank you.... ;)

Needed a Covid Test asap and the Lake Havasu office was amazing! Super easy online paperwork and check-in. The staff were very professional and got me super quick. Doctor was extremely informative and helpful. I will definitely go to them for any future urgent care needs.

This was the first time I used NextCare Urgent Care. I was beyond pleased with my treatment. The receptionist was very friendly, personal, and professional. A rare commodity in todays workplace. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and layout of the waiting room. The convenience of the restroom is a well thought addition for the needs of individuals using the services of Urgent Care.My purpose for going to NextCare Urgent Care was to hopefully get answers and treatment for a 3 week cough that turned out to be Bronchitis. My wait time was minimal and once I went to the treatment area I was once again met by friendly and professional individuals. I never felt rushed and my issue was addressed with detail and clarity. Im 71 years old and spent 28 of those years as an International Flight Attendant so I pay attention to details, especially customer relations. I needed a rapid covid test. I was checked in at 5pm and there was very little wait time. I was taken back, tested and told it would take 15 minutes. They put me in a clean room. The Doctor P/A was pleasant and timely.I would recommend this NextCare Urgent Care.

I took my 2 yr old daughter in because she was extremely sick. The moment we walked in the receptionist was absolutely helpful and sweet. When we were called back into a room they put a sticker and wrote on her chair Welcome Ava with hearts and balloons it was seriously the sweetest thing!! It filled my heart that they care! The female doctor was perfect! She really cared for my daughter and helped her right away. I really appreciate u!!

Nice to make a same day appointment. My appointment time was 1:30 pm. I arrived 15 minutes early and checked in. At that time there were 7 in front of me (one other with a website appointment time). The other 5 were walk ins who were seen before me. Is there another way you could honor appointments made on line and still accommodate walk ins? I actually saw the doctor at 3 pm.

I had an excellent experience at NextCare. The receptionist, EMT and Nurse Practitioner were all very caring and took excellent care of me. I have been to NextCare four times and always received wonderful care.

The NP was a little hard to communicate with at first but he really knew what he was talking about. Was very familiar with my condition. Got good advice on some stretching.

I was taken right in and promptly attended too. Everyone was professional and very kind, Dr., Medical assistant and front end! Would definitely recommend this office. And if needed would certainly return.Thank for such a caring reassuring experience.

I recently took my daughter in because she wasnt feeling good and the staff, nurses and the PA were so nice and they even wrote a little welcome on her paper for the bed. We were in and out very quickly and we had a great experience and were taken care of

This place is a joke. Made an online appointment for 3pm and 3:20 for my husband and I. Didnt see the doctor until 5:30. My husband and I were both obviously sick. No flu test, no covid test, said we had allergies. Called in a prescription to Walmart when we asked them to send to CVS. So we never got the prescription because walmart pharmacy closes at 7 and we didnt get out of there until 6:40. Then we found out what he prescribed was Flonase which we already told him we had been using. Doctor was not helpful at all!

The staff is friendly, they got us in quickly to see my 5 year old granddaughter. We had called for appt prior to going in and when we went in the treatment room they had written her real big on the paper that is on the gurney type thing. They wrote Welcome and her name, also drew a couple of hearts and already had a lollipop and sticker attached. Very good friendly service

The staff were great! During COVID the last thing you want to do is go to a clinic! They were so clean! Even the pens to write with were put in a used container after using one to be sanitized! They handled my problem quickly and I got a prescription and was on my way in less than an 45 minutes.

Split my foot open cliff jumping, they immediately helped me. I was stitched up and out within an hour and a half. Very nice people very good work!

Waited about an hour and a half so was there a total of 2+ hrs. Doc was very nice and diagnosed accurate a few questions.

Once we were in the staff was fabulous everything was handled rapidly. My only issue was an appointment was made the day before for 1030 and we were not seen until 1130. I understand of course everyone is short staffed these days so I think that the visit went very well

Even though this clinic is clearly very busy with COVID-19 tests, the staff were friendly, professional, and efficient. They were upfront about wait times and handled my case well when it was my turn and even gave me resources beyond what I asked for. This clinic will definitely be my first call for urgent care needs in the future!

Very nice staff. Process and paperwork was easy as well. The Urgent Care facility on Kiawa was closed yesterday and today, so had to come here. The wait was a bit longer as only one nurse and one physician. I alerted them they might get busier since the other one was closed. I was well taken care of once my name was called.

Check in was quick. Front desk person was friendly and answered any questions I had about the process. I only waited 10 mins before taken back to see a provider. I knew what the issue I had and the PA confirmed the issue. She made a prescription out and answered any additional questions i had. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was in and out within 1/2 an hour time.

My 1st visit II waited 3 hours the hours. My visit the next day was fairly fairly quick. I suggest People call before they come to try to make an appointment. The care I received was very good led and the staff was pleasant pleasant and helpful at helpful at all times.

We are from out of town and my daughter woke up with a terrible earache and fever. We easily made an appointment online and everyone was very friendly in the office once we arrived. The doctor was friendly and had her diagnosed and out of the office very quickly. I would definitely come back.

My sister and I both scheduled our Urgentcare appointments on the Thursday prior to our Tuesday appointments which were today. I watched my sis check in and then she only waited about 5 minutes until she was called in. I figured we’d be in and out rather quickly! Then came “my Appointment” which was scheduled for 11am, I actually checked in early at 10:30am completing my paperwork I was sent to wait in my car until I was called on my cellphone for my turn to start my vitals. I was impressed with their organized process that I could sit in my comfy car and listen to music until it was time to check in, however, I was not called in to vitals until 1:30pm. I asked if they had to deal with an emergency since I had to wait over an hour and a half for my “appointment” because I knew any walk-in emergencies could bump my appointment later, but I was told something about another provider who was supposed to be scheduled earlier.... It felt more like I waited for someone to take a lunch break during my appointment appointment time. A simple communication to me could have allowed me to eat lunch too! Instead I had to become hangry not being able to eat until after my 11am appointment was finally completed well after 2pm.p.s. 45 minutes into my wait I remembered that I could double check your app to see where I was on your live waiting list, it showed zero patients in front of me. Not sure exactly how long I was listed as being next with nobody in front of me in line...

One star because filling out forms and waiting in your car was an option, though only about 5 total parking places for those with no handicapped stickers. Both my husband and I got sick and couldnt find any Covid testing sites, just Urgent Care clinics. Since home tests are not reliable we sacrificed 4 hours at Nextcare. My husband was seen first (we shared a room since they were so busy) and after the PA saw him and prescribed medication for his Covid, he dismissed us. I had to remind him that I was also sick and NOT my husbands caregiver, which he seemed to think though hubby is very capable of taking care of himself. (Were both retired.) After explaining about my ears being plugged, bad cough, sore throat and congestion and being told I tested positive for both flu and Covid, I was sent on my way with my paperwork. My husband was prescribed Paxlovid and I was given nothing. Im still fighting the ramifications of Covid and hubby was cured in days. I feel like I wasnt given a prescription because 1) I had to insist on being seen instead of dismissed and 2) the PA yelled at me and told me I needed to listen to him. (I had explained about my ears being plugged.)Does anyone monitor the PA? He should be taught to ask questions and listen to his patients, not yell at his patients after ignoring them.

I checked in on time and there were 2 people in front of me. I waited over 1 1/2 hours to see the doctor and I did the online booking. Front office workers were very nice and helpful. Doctor was helpful but felt very rushed.

Best experience ever at any medical care facility! Really. I was in and out. Everyone from the welcoming desk,to the nurse and then the PA were all so friendly and educated. I was there to get an x-ray...they had me treated and discharge in under 20 min. Amazing experience! Totally on top of their game.

Have used this urgent care multiple times but this particular visit was important because my 5 year old is sick and has ear infections. We showed up at 5:30 they got us right in and gave him Tylenol. Then wrote prescriptions. Whole thing only took about 40 minutes. Great caring staff, always friendly and ready to help whoever needs it! 10/10

They were real friendly when I came inI was at work when I took a drink of soda ,and it had something lumpy in it?When I spit it out, I notice there was something moving in the dirt?All of a sudden my mouth,and the right side of my head was pounding with pain?So I went to Urgent Care for help.Speaking with the Dr.,she told me there was something in the roof of my mouth?Low-in-Behold...the Dr. pulled out a stinger from a bee.Such a relief of pain.To get back about the staff, they were real professional,kind about everything they did.Im glad Urgent Care was there for me.Thanks Urgent Care.😁🥤...

Excellent care from Gloria Endicott- she took her time and educated me on medication side effects and how to help my kiddo feel better. She seemed to genuinely care, we were treated as people not just a number. First good experience in a long time.

I am always treated with respect and concern. I am a travel nurse and have used this walk-in ever since I came out to this area 2 years ago. I absolutely love the NPs they understand I am a patient and NOT a nurse when I come in. I highly recommend their skilled staff. Go there first before the ER in Havasu

I tore my meniscus just before bedtime, and we went to the ER at 1am. By 8 am, I still hadn’t seen a Doctor. I suggest you avoid the ER!We decided to go to Next Care across the street and we were wrapped up by 10 am. We’d done the paperwork, saw Dr John, had X-rays taken, saw Dr John again, got a steroid shot, crutches, a knee brace, an ortho appointment and a prescription for pain. All of the staff were very kind, especially the nurse that wheeled me in and out of the facility.I highly recommend Next Care!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Heres how my experience went.This morning I was feeling great and within an hour I was suddenly feeling awful with nausea, body aches, constant sneezing, and irritated eyes. I quickly made an appointment here because it felt like something was seriously wrong. I checked in and was called in the room after about 15 minutes and the nurse took my temperature and blood pressure and walked out. A doctor came in a few minutes later and I explained my symptoms and she offered to test for the flu. The test came back negative so after waiting a while again, the doctor came back in and told me I dont have the flu and that I should just buy theraflu to counter the symptoms of whatever I had. That was my visit. Walking out, I go to pay and was informed that I owed $195. I asked why it was so much when I have Blue Cross insurance and was told that my visit wouldve been over $600 without insurance. Thats how much they charge for not even a couple minutes with a doctor and the expert advice to just buy some theraflu, and a couple hundred came out of my own pocket. The least they couldve done was warn me that my insurance wasnt going to cover it before calling me into the room.I will not be returning to this place where they think its okay to treat a patient like a joke when I was feeling so awful. At one point, I mentioned my eyes which were very irritated and was told that its probably just allergies. I said I have allergies, I know exactly what they feel like, and this isnt allergies. This is much worse and the response I got was yeah but it probably IS allergies.These thieves dont take their jobs seriously and I recommend staying far away from here, even if you have good insurance.

Horrible experience my husband went in for covid symptoms never tested him. He had been this way 6 days they say go home take Motrin after he made an appointment online they got him on over an hour after the appointment due to talking walk in so why make an appointment. Then had him wait in the back over an hour to do nothing but say go home rest take Motrin he asked about the shots I got for COVID which I got better very fast they ignored him. We called next day about the shot they said Havasu don’t have them funny I got them in Havasu . Then they said we don’t give referrals for them yet. The girl at the front desk was rude I said I’m definitely going to let people know she said go right ahead and laughed seriously you act like this to people how sad I wish he was covered to go to true care like I did with my insurance but his does not cover there at least they help their patients and are nice . Horrible way to treat a person.

Efficient, fast & friendly. I scheduled my appointment on line. Got there just a moment or so late, & from walking in the door to leaving was less then 20 minutes. Granted it is off season & very quiet but even when Ive been there when theyre busy, its still pretty quick.

The office staff was kind and welcoming. My provider was concerned and very knowledgeable. The waiting room was clean, had hand sanitizer and tissues for patient use.

The receptionist was so nice, the PA was kind and gentle to our 16 month old son. We were in and out in under 45 minutes.So thankful for them, we were 5 hours from home and we were on vacation and our son was in need of some antibiotics for an ear infection.

Im from Ohio, traveling in Arizona. I needed to see a doctor. None of the doctors I called could see me before the end of July! In desperation, I went to the NextCare Urgent Care, not really expecting much. I was completely wrong. The young woman at registration was friendly, efficient and helpful. She immediately contacted my physician in Ohio and obtained my medical records. Shortly after, I was taken to a treatment room where my vitals were recorded by another pleasant, efficient woman. Very soon after, the physician/lnp/Im not sure of her title came in and discussed my issue with me, then gave me an appropriate physical exam. Shortly after, I was on my way with everything I needed to deal with my issue and continue my trip. I was completely amazed with my experience at this urgent care and am so grateful they were able to help me so quickly!

I went in for an infected thumb. I told them that I had to drain it twice, but could not again, and the pressure and pain were intense.They gave me antibiotics and told me the pressure and pain would go away eventually.I requested they lance and drain it, and they refused.I have had this occur before 7 years prior and a quick lance removed all the pain and pressure so I could function while the antibiotics helped.The practitioner on duty spent less than 4 minutes with me total.I was very unimpressed.

Everyone I saw was incredibly nice. Especially the pre-middle aged blonde woman that took my vitals and covid test. Even when the situation wasn’t that great, she was incredibly kind and nice which truly made my experience the best. I hate going into health care facilities that just feel like doom and gloom when you step into the place, and almost feel shamed for being there. This place was the exact opposite. I have visited this facility at least a dozen times in a few years. Instead of making me fill 5-6 pages of information you already have, why not display, or print, said information and ask me to confirm it, rather than take many minutes to fill out more paperwork before I’m seen?It’s a waste of time and resources to write information that hasn’t changed in 23 years.Want to confirm it, check my AZ license and my insurance cards.Oh yea, you do that already, on top of the info you already have.There were a half dozen people behind me that had to wait that much longer to get in because I was first and they had to wait for me to complete repetitive paperwork.The “Welcome to Corporate” phrase is an ugly reference that shows inefficiency in operations and distrust in your customers.It’s making me angry and I’m ready to go up Mesquite and try the new place, which I hear is much more user friendly.

My mind was blown by the quality of care I received. The staff is friendly, thorough, helpful, and very compassionate. I highly recommend this facility. I have gone on two separate occasions, and both of my experiences were excellent.

It took a little time, but the people were really nice and helpful. The doctor was very pleasant and took the time to answer my questions. Great place.

The wait was kind of long. I should have booked an appt on line. But the staff was great and the PA I saw was wonderful! I was their for a back injury, so I still wish all urgent cares had two sides of waiting areas. One for sick people and one for injuries. I was fine until a kid sat across from me and starting hacking. Yuck.

The service was very fast and efficient being able to fill out all forms before you get there is really convenient. So everything about the actual visit was great I was very ssatisfied. Unfortunately I missed the phone call to get my daughters test results back and was told to call back. The first call I got disconnected after being put on hold for10 mins.and as im writing this review I have been on hold for 30 min with no information how long I will have to wait. This is ridiculous even being able to leave a message is better.

Do not go here if you need good emergency care, only one doctor in house and he tries to get you out quick without addressing your problem(s)

TOTALLY CLUELESS!If I could give this place, ZERO STARS, I would!My daughter was in severe abdominal pain, and the staff didnt seem to care, one bit. They acted like we were there for a, paper cut. If my daughter says shes in severe pain, she needs immediate medical attention.UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF AND FACILITY.Do yourself a favor and keep driving past this place. Dont waste your time.

Staff was awesome, very nice and helpful, however they need to stop making appointments if you make the people who have appointments wait until all the walk ins are serviced first!I had a 11:30 appointment, was call more than an hour later!!

It seems to me that the level of care anymore is like running cattle through a chute, get as many as you can, so your numbers look good. What ever happened to the old days? When you went to the doctor and he or she took there time to make sure that all the bases were covered, back in the day your doctor wanted to know everything you might be experiencing.. now days they run you through as fast as they can.. bedside manners are vary terrible, wish the new doctors would take a lesson from the old doctors.. seems like we have to do our research to help them do there job. Believe me, its the same clear across the nation. From North Carolina to Arizona all the same. I guess thats why they call it a practice.. not a job. I could go on and on, but I think everyone knows the truth...

I called to ask if they could do an x-ray at the Lake Havasu location. After a 20 minute wait on hold, I was advised yes, they could do an x-ray. I made an appointment, filled out all the paperwork online and went to the appointment. When I arrived, I checked in and was advised that the x-ray tech would not be there for two weeks 😳

Very pleasant staff, gentle and caring. I needed stiches. Easy to set appt and do paperwork online before going. Nice system and able to upload docs..

Being urgent care you can expect a wait. We were greeted with a smile and sent out with a smile. Happy with the attention paid to details for ailment. Would recommend.
