AFC Urgent Care Kingwood

I had laryngitis and when I first spoke to the front desk lady she giggled at my voice. She was also not very helpful with the check in process and the uploading of documents. There was no one else in the lobby and when I booked my appointment online all the time slots were open. I got called back and the nurse was super helpful and listened to me. Thank you to that nurse. The nurse did one test on me and I had to ask the nurse before I left what the results were, which were negative, because the doctor did not share. The doctor didnt order any more tests and our interaction lasted maybe 6 minutes. She did the normal listening to the heart, lungs, checked my throat, ears, asked a couple questions, and then sent me on my way with multiple prescriptions. It appeared there were no other patients in the clinic. Why couldnt you spend more time with your patient to figure out the root problem? As a patient I would have liked more care from your providers but your facility was clean and your nurse was helpful.

My son’s appointment at AFC is one of the best experiences we’ve had in years (he’s 16). From calling them (and them answering kindly) to scheduling the appointment to being seen. Everyone was professional and caring! His medical plan of action was explained and my son was also very pleased with how they listened to his concerns and how he felt. Will definitely be returning for any future appointments! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

This location will be my alternative when I cant see my PCP. Both the attending nurse and PA were so helpful. The visit was quick but thorough. Thanks, team!! You are the best.

AFC Urgent Care in Kingwood was an excellent experience. I get very nervous going to doctors and they made me feel very comfortable. The nurse was very kind and even displayed comic relief for me. The doctor was amazing Dr. Jessica was very sweet and was very thorough she had a great bedside manner and when I left I felt like not only was I talking to doctors, but I was treated like an actual human being. Her diagnosis was The nurse was super kind understood my dilemma and also made comic relief to make me feel better and the doctor doctor Jessica was amazing took her time with me ask me every possible question was so thorough it was amazing after picking up my prescriptions I felt like a brand new woman thank you so much for helping me I couldnt have asked for better help even from an ER thank you guys again so much on the nose I picked up my prescriptions and after taking them I feel like a new person thank you guys again so much for your wonderful work and time you spent with me!

Great experience, short wait time, extremely kind and caring. I had a bad fever at the time of my visit and they gave me Tylenol to reduce it, the doctor was thorough and very helpful. This will be my main urgent care going forward!

Theres a very sweet young man at the desk that was so helpful with even getting my papers filled out. I had fell and I was in a lot of pain. The doctor and the nurse was over the top helpful and informative. The facility is so nice and clean. We have been here several times the team here is professional and the service is fast and accurate especially when you’re sick you want to get in and out today I took my 86 year year-old father. They took such good care of him. We will always use AFC URGENT CARE Kingwood .!!

Staff at AFC urgent care were great. Friendly at front desk, and Nurse Samantha was friendly kind and helpful, as well as Dr. Jessica. First time there and i definitely recommend for any urgent care needs.

PA Annalysa Nguyen is great! She gave me a guide as to what I should do next with an issue that’s been going for 4 yrs and others doctors have only tried to patch with medicine but not trying finding the route of the issue.

The staff is so nice and they make you feel very comfortable. The times that I’ve gone, I always leave feeling like I was heard and understood. Definitely recommend AFC urgent care Kingwood.

I cut my hand with a knife and realized I had not had a tetanus shot in over 10 years. I went to my CVS pharmacy but they didn’t have the tetanus vaccine nor did they know when it would come in. At the end of the strip center I saw. The AFC urgent care center.. The first thing I noticed was how clean and professional the waiting room looked And then I had a tremendously friendly greeting from Samantha J. at the front desk. Everything after that continue to be five star service. The med tech that did the initial exam Jessica believe her last name is Elizonde the RN. Just did everything right. He thoroughly examined the room gave me the TD shot for the tetanus. Five stars at every level

This place is always so thorough. So nice to have a place you can drop in and get fixed up when you don’t feel well.

Pretty quick walked in and walked right out all in under thirty minutes and I loved I didn’t have to fill out any paper work and staff was very nice

I had to do a pre-screening drug test and the staff was excellent and quick. I was in and out 10 to 15 minutes.

AFC Urgent Care is my favorite clinic to visit when I am sick. The office staff is always polite. The nurse, Samantha Noriega, was friendly and compassionate. The doctor, Ben Aregbesola PA, was thorough, extremely knowledgeable and very caring about my eye. He checked my eye and did several tests. He reassured me that my eye would be okay. He asked lots of questions to possibly explain to me what could have caused the bleeding in my eye. I left feeling confidant of the possible reasons based on my responses that could have caused the bleeding. The doctor further instructed me to contact my doctors to have my eye checked and also to have my aspirin changed back to 81 mg again which was changed over a month ago to 325 mg due to a possible pending stroke. The 325 mg blood thinner could have caused the bleeding due to pressure in my eyes. I and my husband both left the clinic trusting the doctor and relieved that my bleeding eye would heal. We discussed the instructions that the doctor gave us as we drove away and we agreed AFC is trustworthy. The people are great no matter which day you come in.

It was horrible, system keep shutting down, I kept called for a simple signature and it was meant to be a 10 min visit gone for. 2hours for a simple pre-employment screening

I was very pleased with our experience at AFC Urgent Care in Kingwood. In a day where customer service is an afterthought in most cases, it is so refreshing to experience excellence. We were walk-ins for a sports physical. The check-in process was easy, and we were seen quickly. In and out - maybe 30 minutes and the staff was all smiles.Great job Eric and Nicole!

We had to bring in our toddler son for a gash on his forehead from him knocking his head on the coffee table. Karin, Tasha, and Mendy were so helpful and tended to him quickly making sure he was completely fine! They were thorough, kind, and helpful! The bonus was that we were treated like family. The day I visited I was blown away by the connection of the staff. You could tell they enjoyed working together and worked well together. Which is a great thing for the patient. Good vibes and positive attitudes. You don’t get that at many medical facilities nowadays. Everyone usually seems rushed, bothered and extremely rude. From the moment I walked in to sign in until saying my goodbyes each of them made a positive difference more than they may realize.The nurse was Karin. She was amazing! Bedside manner was phenomenal.The medical assistant Eric, super sweet, and made the process quick & comfortable. The receptionist, Samantha, smiled from ear to ear, laughed, and held great conversation.Overall, they were all professional, personable and provided a positive experience. If I ever need an urgent care again AFC Kingwood is it! I recommend 100%.I have been here twice. Once with an appointment and the other time without an appointment, each time during the day and the wait time was 5 min or less. Quick, thorough process and I got my needs cared for & questions answered. Nothing like the dreadful ER wait times.

Something went into my eye on a bike ride and I couldnt see it or flush it out myself so I went here to have it looked at. Overall my experience was great. Mendy at the front desk was nice and helpful, Tasha and Eric took my vitals and information and helped with checking my eye, and Nicole went all in on my eye to try to get whatever the hell was in there to come out. They also gave me information on prescriptions and eye doctors to follow-up with if I need it. Great service. Id recommend 100%.

Nicole the nurses practitioner knew my prognosis immediately and was extremely helpful in finding an open pharmacy during Labor Day holiday! I was very disappointed in the service I recieved after reading all the 5 star reviews. The nurse and NP were both great, but the front desk staff was horrible. The younger girl working the desk was extremely rude, never acknowledged me when I walked in nor when I walked up to the desk. In fact, I dont think she ever even looked up from her computer when I was speaking to her. Then after I sat down she started asking me questions from across the room in front of the other people instead of calling me back up to the desk - absurd. Clearly this person should not be in a customer facing position.

The facility is beautiful and well equipped. I saw a nurse practitioner who is very knowledgeable and thorough. All of the staff was welcoming. It was a very pleasant visit.

Went to this location for a work related injury after being tossed around by several people. Let me tell you this place is a breath of fresh air. The whole staff was amazing, welcoming and attentive. But, the real kudos go to Annette, shes a gem...maybe an angel. She immediately went to bat for me, got on the phone with whoever she needed to, and got me in and seen in no time. But she didnt leave me there, she continued to stay on the people who were controlling the situation and made sure I got my appointment with a specialist as needed, all while keeping me updated every step of the way. I would still be nowhere in this process without her.Grateful is an understatement, AFC Kingwood is now my go to. Thank you all, and whoever is above Annette and reads this, yall have a clear winner 🏆

This was a great experience from start to finish! The place was clean and beautiful inside. The front desk staff were all friendly and kind! The doctor was prompt and answered all my questions without rushing me, I was in and out in less than an hour with what I needed.My feedback is general, I am confused why doctors are not proactive about informing patients that antibiotics often weaken birth control, a lot. Did you know that? I had to ask even though the only thing I take is birth control. Was not proactively given that important info. I think that’s most doctors though.Still with that, I WILL be going back here if I need an urgent care!

Loved the energy and the facility, we came here for a check up and Mendy was exceptional at assisting us checking in. Understanding why we were there, and getting us checked in. Tasha assisted us to our room, and RN Nicole was very friendly with my daughter. We do not come to Urgent cares much but she answered our questions and guided us to what we needed. Went there for absolutely nothing did not receive any medication‘s for my illness. I was sent away and told to buy over-the-counter medication even though I will be traveling and I have an infection.

Urgent cares usually leave bad tastes in peoples mouths but I left AFC knowing every single person that tended to me actually cared about helping me feel better. That really goes a long way when someone comes in for help after having a tough time dealing with health issues. So thankful for that.

The personnel there was great! We interacted with three people and each one of them were nice. I didn’t feel rushed. They were patient. Clean in there. It wasn’t freezing like most places.

This is the cleanest/nicest urgent care I’ve been to . I’ve been to this location twice now . Mendy at the front desk was very informative when I called regarding the Covid 19 testing . She explained the special they were running. Most places in the area are charging $240 for a Covid test and AFC is charging $99 for the rapid test and the Dr visit . Tasha the tech was also great and accommodating. My provider Peter Abraham Kwayu was very friendly , informative , and down to earth . He reassured me if I get worse or need something else , to call and they’ll help me out. I’ve been impressed by this place both times I’ve gone.

I’ve been having this cough and breathing issue for over 3 weeks and went in to this urgent care and with out an appointment I was greeted by the wonderful Lupita who was so sweet.I was sent within 10mins or less by Mendy who listened to all my concerns and current symptoms. Shortly after I said the dr Karin and helped explained some natural remedies too since I had something medical I was prepping for in July. Overall I loved how I was seen so quickly and they accepted my Molina healthcare. Will be Returning for other urgent needs. Thanks ☺️
