Planned Parenthood - Joplin Health Center

I have to say I understand why I was here with my child and wife we arrived early. but for the staff members to make make fun of women coming in after they leave and using the f word in front of my not yet adult child. Im pretty ashamed of the staffs professionalism in my opinion their personal conversations and opinions need to be kept to themselves and left at home. or have enough respect to talk bad about someone behind their back and us profanity when the customers leave. thoes women need spoke to about their disrespectful conduct.

Overall, its easy to get care and the staff is polite, nice, and accepting, but there is one particular person who answers the phone calls who is incredibly rude. Other than that, its a great establishment.

Very nice staff and quick at their job. Very slow at answering the phone. I have to wait on hold for 10+ minutes to ask simple questions. If they could improve their call time, that would be great. I’m considering going somewhere else just because of the calling time. Almost every time I call, their computers are down so I have to call back and be on hold for another 10+ minutes just to confirm when my next appointment is. One time they had scheduled me an appointment on a day they were not open so I had to scramble to set up my own appointment online before it was too late and they were really booked at the time so I had barely enough time to get my depo shot before heading straight to work after.

The staff is extremely rude and too short tempered to be working in such a sensitive field. You constantly feel like youre a problem or an annoyance. Usually the reason young women go here might already be stressful, the staff doesnt need to make it more difficult than it already is. I literally was brought to tears the first time I visited Planned Parenthood. The women behind the desk were yelling at me, and being short and rude anytime I had a sincere question. My insurance was also denied EVEN THOUGH my insurance is listed on the insurance accepted list upon the website. My friend also had a terrible first experience there a week ago. She called, and the lady on the phone treated her like she was ignorant and belittled her the entire time and actually told my friend that she was too needy. How professional is that? I have never even received a smile from a staff member while being in the clinic. The radio commercial claims that PP is full of kindness, understanding and caring, but literally there is not an ounce of it inside Joplin, Mos Planned Parenthood.

Staff was extremely helpful. I was nervous and they were able to put me at ease. The doctor is very kind and I had the best experience Ive had at an OBGYN. Will definitely return and am considering switching my care over to Planned Parenthood.

Great staff, They provide an essential service and do it well.We are lucky to have people that step up and help others, Even when faced with hostility.

Every time I go here its a pleasant experience. They know me by name which is nice though the only downside is their computers are a bit slow which makes a simple pickup last about ten minutes. Other than that though Im grateful for what they do.

Took very good care of me. Explained my diagnosis. Actually called and checked up with me. Sent me a paper explaining my diagnosis and sent me recommended care facilities near by. Answered every question I ever had. I have NEVER EVER been treated so well by any care facility.

I went in for some STD testing and an examination. Everyone was nice enough. In and out quickly. Straight forward and to the point. And the nurse examining me was awesome. Other than being nervous, the whole experience was a lot better than i thought it would be.

Rudest staff I have ever met in my life. Especially the owner and the old lady that runs the front desk. I was lied to about my total and was FORCED to donate money without choice. Wish there was some place else to go.

It was horrible right when I walked in the door they have these papers to full out so u can tell them PRIVATELY why your there she asked me in front of people why I was there then didnt even hear what I had to say just put her two since and. She didnt even put on an act to seem like she cared. I would not recommend this place or ever go back. It was embarrassing.

First I would say that they should change their phone system. There shouldnt be a reason why I am not able to talk to someone at the front desk and the automated person doesnt give options to speak to anyone at the desk. Whats the point of putting a contact number on their website if you cant even contact them? Very frustrating!

The people here were so kind and helpful. They were fast and let me know all my options. I will keep this place as my go to for birth control. Thank you again!

Showed up at 9am and they never opened went back an hour later and they still wasnt opened. They show that they are opened on Friday and some other people said they werent even opened then. They need to be there when they are scheduled.

Nice decent people working there, will quote you a price, and by the time you pay it will be well over that price. I wont be going back.
