The first time I had the pellets really helped my weight ,my labido ,etc. A couple owned business . The husband did my first pellets.. I didnt have any bad side effects. The second time was with the same couple owned business. The wife did this one. Its been a mess. Spotting, tender breast, my hair gets oily in a couple of days and really stinks. My Body odor has changed and not for the better. I hate it! Im not sure what went wrong. But whatever it is , I called the practice and they are rude and have no bedside manner. I would rather not deal with them. I hope this stuff gets out of my system quick. @$375 a pop plus vitamins is a big investment. Not worth it this time.

Both my husband and I have been biote clients for years, and until recently, loved Biote. We had to stop therapy for a while because our provider moved out of state. We have had two different providers but we could never get a therapeutically dose and never received follow up appts to monitor. We were not dismayed as having had success prior, we were determined. I have not had a follow up but scheduled one for my husband as his dose was not relieving his symptoms. After an additional insertion, we hoped for success. Unfortunately, no success even after a few months. What we did notice was a swelling in the area of insertion that grew and grew, and after several weeks several white semi hard pill looking things came out of the center of the swelling. We contacted the provider, the one who inserted but did no follow up, and explained the problem. No symptom relief and foreign items protruding and eventually releasing from the protrusion, the answer....come and purchase more pellets as those pellets have disintegrated by now, you know, the ones that are currently inn a petri dish. Not sure if Biote has changed their formulation, or this partner provider is sub par, but I am very disappointed.

I took the pellets for 2 years. At first, I had increased energy and libido. I could tell at 3 months they were wearing off. I continued until March of this year. About 6-8 months ago, they didnt seem to be changing my energy any more. Libido some but I was so tired I fell asleep during dinner. I did have a stressful job and thought it was making me tire. My husband brought to my attention that he felt the pellets were no longer working. I talked to my Dr and stopped in March. Also, I was having hair loss. Since March, I have had more energy, libido is ok and hairless is decreasing. I have much more energy. I will not take them again.

This has been hell. These pellets have done nothing but brought misery. Cramping and bleeding for two months straight. The progesterone changes have no effect on anything. Would never recommend to another woman. Go to your gynecologist and find a better solution.

Taking for at least 2 yrs - had a menstrual cycle every 2 weeks for a month and a half during one cycle of pellets. Extreme breast tenderness and it also caused one breast to become larger than the other. Did not take estrogen the next pellet cycle and symptoms stop with exception of one larger Breast. Mild facial hair🙄Now I’m having severe hair loss and so is a friend on the pellets. I do not feel like it has helped with energy. It seems I have gained more weight around waist than before I started the pellets. This seems to be a big imbalance with the hormones and this cannot be safe to have that much fluctuation. It seems we cannot get the dose correct. Positive note it has helped with libido and Vaginal dryness. Not sure it’s worth it with all the side effects especially hair loss from the root- not breakage.

My provider has been stellar! She recognized my symptoms, monitors my levels and has been very clear on the importance of maintaining a schedule for blood work, taking supplements and nutrition. My energy level has increased, my digestive track is working better and my sleep has improved. I no longer create my own summer with hot flashes throughout the day and night. Worth every cent to me. Worst nightmare of my life my doctor put in way too much testosterone and ended up over 700!!! My body was so sick it left me in bed for over one year .. I still don’t feel myself several years later. I had a very bloated body and face grew an uncomfortable and excessive amount of facial hair that I have to still do laser therapy. I also had a more masculine voice and sweated down my face an hair with oil for 8 months I couldn’t leave my home unless I was going to the dr. I ended up seeing an oncology blood Dr because of the damage .. my body couldn’t regulate itself I also had my clitoris grow 3 times it’s size it wouldn’t go down. The Biote pellets are dangerous in a doctors hand who just want to earn more money. The first was a before photo the others are after with in 30 days of injections.

The first year, my energy was through the roof and libido was out of control. I engaged in dangerous behavior and had thoughts I never had before. My husband and I divorced. I continued on the pellets and by year 2 they werent working. Now 2 years free of these demon pellets. My mind is clear again!! I wished I had never heard of biote!

The providers tend to be in practice for quick turn over & high income. There was literally no warning whatsoever as to the potential side effects, not even in any of the Biote literature I was handed. I was given no information on what amount of T/E or P was in my pellets. After 2 mos I can tell the dose is wearing off & nothing can be done abt it for another month. There are very few providers unless youre near a city, and Yes, this is only intended for people who have disposable income. I spoke w/a pharmaceutical compounder and there is no reason whatsoever that these pellets cost the amount that they do other, than to make the manufacturer a ton of money. It blows my mind that they actually responded to another review and suggested that somebody put a jar on their desk so their coworkers could contribute to it. Um, what?!? That insane reply underscores the Money Grab ethos of everyone Ive been involved w in the Biote process so far.I will be following up with a BHRT provider and stop the pellets altogether, not only is working with Biote very disappointing but the pellets offer no flexibility. After doing more research on forums and hearing feedback from other women, I will be pursuing individualized treatment that can be adjusted as needed immediately. And those prescriptions are actually covered by my insurance.

I have been on the pellets for almost three years. I absolutely loved them, and have always thought they are worth the money. But, my last two rounds of pellets have not done a thing. Not sure if my body has formed an immunity to them, I miss feeling they way they made me feel when I first started them. I have several friends that are having the same problem, I wonder if the pellets changed, or if we have received a bad batch. Way too expensive to do if they are not working!

I love this for myself. I have gone two years without having them because my insurance will not cover it and there is not doctor out there that will work with you on a payment plan. Also the website give a financial layout on how you can get financed but does not finance it. And neither does the doctor. So i am suffering from no hormones or testosterone and no one will help me. So if your rich you can get it done but for us that are not we have to suffer in silence.

My doctor overdosed me on BioTE and I ended up with estrogen dominance, an emotional mess and dying of thyroid cancer for a year before he approved me to go to a surgeon. My doctor continued to pellet me a total of 4 times in a years period and didnt properly monitor my blood work...at one point my free testosterone level was at 5.96! I could have had a stroke or a heart attack, but instead paid over $1200 to be mistreated and develop cancer...what a crock...I want my $1200 back

I have been on Biote now for 4 years and before I begin their treatment I was experiencing peri menopause symptoms of fatigue, sleep apnea, mental fog, low libido, weight gain and terrible hot flashes.Being on Biote has enable me to go back to my optimal health, fantastic libido, weight loss, my energy levels back to normal and now I am currently finishing nursing schoo! Not bad for a 49 year old! It’s imperative that your primary care provider will do the blood testing to monitor your hormone levels for proper treatment. I have referred several of my lady friends to my provider. It’s a fountain of youth for me.

Get them. You won’t regret it. I feel amazing and can tell a difference when I need another dose of pellets 🫣

BioTE is the closest thing to a fountain of youth. It doesnt change your looks but it changes how you feel. Awesome!
