Eskenazi Health Center Blackburn

Wonderful practice, clean respectful front desk staff, kind MA and Dr Don Sim is my primary doctor he is very knowledgeable and professional, it easy to talk to him and he listens to my concerns he’s very competent and compassionate. Dr Don is the Best !!!

I really wish we could give a zero rating. I waited almost an HOUR to get seen before leaving. I had to be at another appointment soon so I had to cancel after waiting so long. Everyone who arrived after me had their name called. I will be changing my healthcare provider.

I usually go to the Barton Annex but since its closed from COVID my regular Dr is working out of this office. I didnt have any issues. The wait room wasnt packed like the other offices Ive been in lately. I was called back and seen in a timely manner and everyone I came in contact with was friendly.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone. No mater what time you get there (when in the morning when no other patients are there) prepare to be there damn near all day. The staff is slow, very rude and doesnt care about their patients. After 3-4 months of my Dr not responding to any communication from me as well as my pharmacist I switched to another provider in another network and couldnt be happier.

The staff seems a bit unmotivated to deliver the level of customer service that I have come to expect for my $$$, but the professional staff did an amazing job with my care of services. I have read many of the reviews below and find most of them to be accurate. Its disappointing to know that this how some places of assistance are ran in late 2016! I am confident that the future will/has to be brighter for this place!

It is a shame that to be poor and need help this is what you get . I called to try to get an apointment and I was told o call. Back at 7:30 am the will only take same day appointments . Getting results is like pulling your own teeth . I can not even call and speak with a doctor about my results . And I never receive a call back from the nurse . On top of every thing else the people that answer the phones at the clinic treat you like crap . You are in pain and trying to get simple answers and the get condescending . I NEED ANSWERS . They make it feel like I should be ashamed for needing help . Absulitly no human emotion in this place .

The mental health care doctors do not care about your well being. They tricked me into putting my signature on a form to transfer my records from my previous doctor. Then they send me a bill for 40$, without telling me I was going to be charged. My counselor is rude and insensitive as well as my mental heath doctor. They are trying to tell me how I feel and its not thier position to make assumptions on how I feel and that I need group therapy. I socialize just fine on my correct medications. They dont listen or care how I feel. They took me off my xanax completely. Now I am a nervous wreck and very irritable to everyone and everything. They are causing serious repercussions to my relationships with my husband, family, animals, and friends. I have been taking xanax for almost ten years and they took them away because im too young. I have a serious social anxiety condition, mdd, and ptsd. The facility is disgusting and dirty everywhere. I feel uncomfortable being there. It feels like I might catch something from touching anything in there. The receptionists are rude and quick to get you out of thier face. This is a horrible place to go to. They are always late calling you to the back. I feel that I am a victim of malpractice. I cant eat, sleep, or go number 2 because im so anxious all the time and paranoid to where I cant function in society. I wont be going back. Im getting a second opinion and I might sue if possible. This place is a joke and should be shut down.

I love going to Eskenazi Health Center Blackburn I have never had any problems with any of the nurses or doctors. When ever I need something they work hared to get it. The doctors are very good and care about their patients.

I actually love this clinic the only thing I don’t like is that you have to call at 7am in the morning,but they do get a you in like the next day everybody was very friendly,nice & very respectful.....I would recommend this clinic to anybody‼️🙂

Cant get people on the phone.Well you just lost a patient. Second day of trying to get a prescription. Good thing I am not dying. You just lost business.

Didn’t really feel like my service was good from the customer service being rude, to the Dr.’s I seen. Although this was not my normal Dr. I still feel like my questions and concerns about an issue of mine was not taken surely. I felt rushed and left still with concerns about my health.....AND I’AM HERE TO GIVE ANOTHER REVIEW ON THIS HORRIBLE PLACE IT MAKES ME SICK TO THINK AFTER THE LAST REVIEW THEY WOULD TAKE MY HEALTH INTO CONSIDERATION. AND MORE SERIOUSLY THIS PLACE IS A JOKE THEY COULDVE HELPED MY ISSUE BUT OVER LOOKED IT AND NOW ITS WORSENED!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HORRIBLE PLACE TO ANY FRIENDS OR FAMILY!

We have been trying to obtain an updated shot record for over 2 months now my daughter keeps getting the run around my granddaughter Cannot go back to daycare until she has a updated shot record which is forcing my daughter to not being able to go to work cause of childcare an possibly losing her childcare voucher because shes not using it do to her waiting an giving the run around over a shot record its ridiculous I myself an my children use to be a patient at Blackburn an it was never like this but here anymore all Ive been hearing are unsatisfied patients maybe my daughter should looking into finding another clinic or doctor that cares

Friendly staff and good doctors.Im always able to get a same day appointment if needed.The wait is just long.But I guess thats expected at any docs office.

After visiting clinic recently, I believe that clinic is best and way better than what I read here...Nice and clean. Really Good doctors and nursing staff...

They are far more worst then any clinic theyre dirty and the doctor told me they only give narcotic pain meds to elderly people I feel like thats not right and I have a history of chronic back pain.

Blackburn dental , Front desk lady was very rude, rush us the whole time also they dont accept HSA cards which was also an disappointment, i would of gave no star if possible, I still want to call and speak with the manager

Im about to report you guys u never answer the phone I kept the phone on on purpose to see how.long ill be on hold and it was 46 mins everybody needs to fired I been calling for 2 months im sick of u guys very unprofessional

I dont know why people complain about free services!!! be thankful that Eskenazi has this clinics . Blackburn has very good Doctors and good Pediatrics.

The Times that i went i was treated excellent had the best Doc i ever had gave exactly what i needed

Friendly and warm treatment from all the staff, excellent treatment from the doctors and nurses, the girls at the reception and financing offices. What can I say more than thank you.
