Highly recommend this location! Check in process was so easy, was brought right in. Emily, PA was amazing. We were very lucky to have had her as our provider. My little person was being a bit dramatic and she handled it perfectly. This will be our go to Urgent care

Woke up with a swollen eye. Went to this specific urgent care as they had great reviews. I walked in and there wasn’t anyone else inside. Was taken in and seen right away. It was very clean and everyone was friendly. The doctor was so nice and easy to talk to. Prescribed me a medication and off I went. Super easy.

Definitely the best AFC urgent care I’ve been too! everything is really clean and people are really polite. Didn’t have to wait long, it was really fast and easy. Timothy was my assistant, and he helped me out really good. Great guy! I’ll always be coming to this urgent care from now on.

We stopped at this AFC on our family vacation. Staff were super helpful and friendly. We were seen right away. The practitioner took her time to answer all my questions. If we lived here, we would definitely make this clinic our default for all our urgent care needs.

Ive been consistently impressed with the service at this urgent care facility. Not only do they always have spots available, but their efficiency in handling patients is remarkable. Despite their speed, they never compromise on the quality of care. Every time Ive visited, theyve taken the time to listen attentively to both me and my child, ensuring that we feel heard and understood. Ive never encountered any issues with them, and I wholeheartedly recommend other parents to bring their kids here for any urgent medical needs.

Had a bad cough and ear pain for a few days. Woke up and immediately went to AFC Urgent Care at 8:30. The sign in process was easy, front desk receptionist was very polite and Dr Emily W. had excellent bedside manners and took great care of me! Will definitely be my go to urgent care.

Dr. Wheeler was very nice and very sweet. She was very attentive to our son and listened to everything we had to say amd didnt interrupt us. She didnt make us feel rushed either.

I am very impressed with this facility. The ease of getting an appointment was super fast. The staff was very welcoming and very interested in getting my problem taken care of. Every step of the process was handled very professionally with tons of courtesy. The nurse staff listened very well and was very hospitable. The doctor was awesome and listen very well. He was full of energy and very compassionate at taking care of my visit. The doctor had a wonderful personality and was very professional. I would rate this place 10 out of 10 and I will return if I ever need an emergency visit. The very best experience Ive ever had an emergency facility. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful visit.

I was able to get in quickly. I was treated well at the reception area. The nurse was very kind and understanding. Then I quickly saw the doctor. She was also very helpful and understanding. I was given a prescription I needed and she also gave me referrals for family practice doctors. I was glad I came because my family doctor could not see me for over a week.

From start to finish, it was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care.  I’d been here once before & while it wasn’t necessarily a bad experience, it wasn’t a great experience either. Granted, it was also during cold season + late afternoon, so everyone & their brother was there, so it was bound to take a while. My most recent visit was almost too good to be true. Having been there before, scheduling my appointment & filling out my paperwork took at most, three minutes. From the lady who checked me in, to the nurse, the doctor, & the x ray tech… they were all awesome. I don’t know one person who enjoys going to the doctor, but they truly made a dreadful situation so much better! So when life throws you lemons, go to AFC Urgent Care!

I recently moved to Monroe from Florida and needed some immunizations updated for work.  I was recommended to AFC by a family friend. It was the right decision. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Natalie was AMAZING. She went above and beyond to make sure I was informed and taken care of properly. You have a gem in Natalie. This will definitely be the urgent care for my family and I. I strongly recommend AFC urgent care. Thank you again for all of your help.

The nurse and the PA I had were fabulous! The lady at the front desk was also very sweet and welcoming. We were in and out very quickly. I have never been to this urgent care before but will definitely use them again in the future if the need arises!

I wanted to get my daughter’ s physical complete before the start of the school year. I googled for an urgent care that performs sports physical snd AFC came up. I called them and the person confirmed they did sports physicals. She was pleasant, answered questions and told me how to schedule the appointment online. It was an easy process. I got an appointment the same day and the service was great. Friendly, thorough staff.

I have taken my child to this clinic and they always treated him very well. Today it was me needing help and I knew exactly where to go. I got the best treatment quickly and easily. They all work together as a team and make you feel at home and attended to. If you need good care, that is not stressful, this clinic is the best in our area.

Fantastic experience with everyone here including the front desk, nurse and PA. Online scheduling was convenient and when I arrived, there was minimal wait time. Abigail, the PA, was thorough in her assessment and also kind and caring. Would absolutely recommend this location and its staff.

I wish I could give 10 stars...I went in for stomach issues and my Dr was super nice! He listened to what my issues were and where the pain was. He was very knowledgeable and I was in and out very quickly!

My first time visiting an urgent care facility, but I will definitely go back to this office if the need arises. After several attempts to find a doctor closer to home and couldnt find one that had any appointments before October, I decided to visit AFC Urgent Care in Indian Trail.Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. They listened and answered all my questions. From the time I checked in and checked out, Chloe, Kim, Wendy and Dr. Wenn were great! I wish they could be my primary provider. I would definitely recommend this office.

The staff were so kind and professional. Very empathic regarding my situation. As always, this facility was punctual with getting me seen.

I’m so glad where I usually go for Urgent care X-ray machine was down, bc this will be my new go to for any UC needs. It was nice and clean, big waiting lobby, and was greeted pleasantly. The PA and Nurse were both very personable and patient with my daughter and I. I really appreciated the PA showing us my daughter’s xray results. We were in and out of there in no time. Great customer service. I hope to not be back soon, lol…but I will use this place again in the future. Highly recommend.

The staff was very fast, friendly and helpful to my toddler. I made an appointment at 10 and they got me in faster. Thank you all for your hard work and time. My toddler is now feeling better.

The Staff at the reception desk was wonderful. There was hardly any wait time. Natalie was attentive, helped to complete check-in, and paperwork for fist time visit. She got us in to see the doctor really fast.

I’ve had several great experiences here with the front desk staff, nurses, and doctors. Everyone is so friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. It’s easy to get in with or without an appointment, and the wait time is minimal. The doctors and PAs are all awesome, and you always walk away feeling like you got the right diagnosis.

This place is great!! I absolutely love the doctors and the nurses. The front desk is always so nice when I walk through those doors! I highly recommend this urgent care.

Falsely charged! DO NOT GO THIS URGENT CARE Receptionist Lindsey  checked my insurance, confirmed all is good and charged me for the visit. Then after seen the doctor, Lindsey checked doctor notes and said it was another charged so I paid again and asked if that was it; Lindsey said yes that is all. I said, so I will not receive a bill in the mail later? She replied no ma’am. I asked are you sure? She checked her computer and said; No, you will not receive a bill on the mail. It is paid. I left.Three months later I got a text to pay a bill. I called twice to discuss the situation looking for someone who could honor what I was told but  no resolution. I personally went to their office and the manager suddenly stepped out, their staff started making questions about why I was there. I explained and left the office with the promise that they will call me back that day at 4:30pm. Weekend passed and today I got a call from the manager kind at the beginning; and saying she can’t do anything other than correcting the staff mistake for the future, and as soon as I started talking saying that someone has to honor what I was told, the call dropped conveniently and no one else call me back.Looking at the bill they are wrong charges they claimed a Surgery?!?! This is false! I only had my toe fissured and an xray!!! THIS IS stealing! The whole bill is $857 dollars, my insurance already paid and I paid a out of pocket and I just got another bill?!? How gross!! Responsible people like me go in person to talk to the manager and got the worst treating. NOT recommended This Urgent are. NO ONE ANSWER THE PHONES TO REVIEW MY BILL. They vanished.

Went in for ear/ jaw pain. Very easy to schedule online and download insurance info so checking in is easy . Front desk staff as well as staff in back very sweet, helpful and kind. Drashti Thummer PA was very patient, listened to all my concerns, answered all my questions, did a very thorough exam, was polite and smart. I was in and out in one hour. I would definitely recommend.

I chose this place because it had a 4.9 Google rating. Boy did it live up to that ratingFirst time going to AFC Urgent Care. Everyone way extremely friendly and helpful.Was seen by PA Emily Wheeler. She was fantastic. Helped me with my gout flare up.Was a short visit was in and out in under 1 hour. Will definitely go back if I need to go to urgent care.Would highly recommend this place.

Love love love this urgent care! Will definitely recommend. I’m always so pleased when i come, we are in and out fairly quickly. They treat us like family and in urgent situations have seen us last minute before close even after not accepting anymore appointments. My son absolutely loves all the staff as well and works so good with them.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Another urgent care was booked with a 3 hour rate. They told me about AFC. I booked online and found an appointment instantly. I came in and they took SUCH good care of me. I have any other issues like this I will be back here and no where else! Wish they did primary, that’s how awesome they are!

Very nice front desk. Medical tech was very nice, he said he’d only been there about 4 days but had good mannerisms. The doctor was nice & friendly. I waited a few minutes, I pre-registered.Overall, I had a great experience & would recommend to others.

I am very pleased with this Urgent Care! I’ve been here twice and each time has been pleasant. The doctors are very thorough, personable, and listen to what you may think you have and don’t simply come in and out the room. The medical assistants are all personable, quick, and thorough. Lindsey, the patient care coordinator and the lady that sits to the left (sorry don’t know name) of her are SO nice. They make you feel welcome and comfortable. The lady whose name I don’t know is always sanitizing the waiting area and striking up a conversation with patients. The wait time is always quick even with walk ins! Well done team.

My visit was awesome. The staff there is very professional, each and everyone of them was Polite and very helpful. Caring and out for my best interest.. Recommend this facility to anyone in my family will definitely be returning in the future..

I love this place! Everyone is so nice and were in and out in a decent amount of time. Ive been 3 times in the past month for all sorts of different things. Theyve been able to take care of everything for us, even my husbands abscess. Highly recommend

I dont get injured often, but when I do, I always choose AFC Urgent Care Indian Trail. They are above and beyond! They have the friendliest doctors and assistants. Most of all, they really care about you and treat you well. They are highly professional and they know what they are doing.I have attended AFC for the 4th time today, and I was never disappointed. Dr. Emily and her assistant Wendy were so positive and so kind to me, so I even forgot I was hurt.I highly recommend them! I think its the best place to bring kids to, because this is where they can recieve the best treatment and medical care! They will leave the place with smiles on their faces :)

This is the best urgent care. Dr. Wheeler is always wonderful. I’m always in and out in under 30 minutes to an hour. I always receive great care and never leave without a clear answer.

Welcoming, efficient, clean and in/out within 30 minutes or so. (To be fair, it wasnt busy). But I feel confident that I now have a place to go with pressing health issues that cant wait until Monday.REVISED 5 days after my visit: All of the above is still true however, this doesnt seem to be the place to go for a strep culture that has to be sent out. Even given that the lab doesnt work on Sundays, my culture is taking too long to be processed.2nd ADDENDEUM to review: My culture results were given to me today, on June 11, so it took 11 days. They were very apologetic and explained that someone brand new was working who didnt understand the procedure for these so mine was delayed.

I absolutely love this urgent care. The staff is awesome the appointment scheduling is always fantastic and never too long of a wait if any. Shout out to the receptionist and the x-ray tech they are so sweet and handled my daughter with such care.

The staff and the facility are very nice.The only thing I didnt like was the long wait, considering that there were only two people in the waiting room. I went early when they opened and still waited an hour and a half. Ive been to other, busier places with less wait.

This facility is being ran with the highest patient care and customer service skills to date. From checking in, speaking with the intake nurse, the one who loves to ask you to get on the scale nurse, lol, to being seen by the physician, everything was suitable. I do not mind recommending AFC to my family and friends.

My second time coming to this establishment. The greeting by the office staff was spot on . The wait was standard for a dtrs office . The check in was easy. The dtr listened to my symptoms and prescribed accordingly. His bedside manners was exceptional.

The wait time seemed super long. I was in extreme pain and could barely sit in the chair. The staff was friendly. However the most important issue is that once again my prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy. This is the 2nd time. The 1st time a few months ago it was sent to a local Walmart. This time it was sent to CVS pharmacy in Decatur, GA. I’m not sure how they continue to do this but they should really double check and pay attention to what they are doing.

The doctor lady was very nice and understood everything that was told and the man taking vital he was very patient with my kids and the lady in the front desk was very helpful and nice will recommend this urgent care

AFC is absolutely wonderful in Indian Trail ! Everyone is awesome. I did notice yesterday that it didn’t have its normal pleasant smell. It smelled like smoke to me . I don’t know if it was because of the rainy weather and a cigar shop next door but it was not a normal smell for the urgent care.

I’ve been here serval times and the wait is always next to nothing. I’ve seen the PA, Emily who has always has a great bedside manner and efficient in treating me as someone with complex chronic illnesses. I will only be going to this urgent care from now on. Very happy with the care I get here. Front desk is also great and very clean clinic.

I have had to use them several times, since it is almost impossible to get in with your primary doctor, they have be great from the minute I walked into the door to the time I left! My daughter woke up this morning with sore throat and I scheduled super fast a visit, it was incredible how fast and great the doctor and staff is there. The best medical treatment in all Indian trail and charlotte area .

Everyone was very helpful both times I went to take my TB skin test requirement for university. Especially Natalie Turner, who took and read my test and helped me with the payment and paperwork aspect as well.

Very friendly people. Outstanding job. Always asking if Im doing okay during the ear cleaning. One ear was really bad yet she was outstanding in her persistence to get the job done all the while being patient and careful. Thank you and would recommend to any other patients.

I usually make an appointment whenever I go, when I get there its usually pretty dead. Good for me because I get in and out without hassle. Recently I went for a sore throat that I was dealing with for 3 weeks. Two other providers dismissed me and wouldnt prescribe me anything helpful (minute clinic and video visit pcp). Dr. Winn listened to me, actually listen to me and now Im finally having some relief. Will be going here for now on especially since I cant get into my primary care very easily. Cvs minute clinic is a no for me.

I went to the urgent care in Indian Trail for a severe migraine/thunderclap headache. The entire staff was very attentive and caring for me. They ushered me into a very quiet room and shut the door provide me with ice packs as I waited for the provider once the provider did the evaluation real quick to administer the “migraine cocktail”. They escorted me to my car where my driver was waiting. Once I got home within one hour or two, the headache was gone and I slept the rest of the day.. I highly recommend the urgent care for any of your needs. Thank you again ladies you did a fantastic job.

I was very impressed with Dr Wenn and the staff I worked with today at AFC. They took care of me very quickly and identified my problem. Gave me great advice on how to handle my problems for now. Highly recommend them!

Okay on treatment but I have had billing issues after each visit. Most recently, its taken 3 calls to get an overpayment refund requested. Hopefully its approved tomorrow when its reviewed and refunded faster than expected (1 week from approval).

Fast, convenient, and caring facility/staff. They saved me from having to suffer a painful ear infection through the weekend because I couldnt see my PCP until Monday.

I gave Scheduling 1 star because I didnt schedule my appointment. I was a walk-in. Other than that I was well pleased with the service I received. I had tested positive at home for COVID. Everyone was very courteous. The Doctor I saw was concerned about my health and knew what I needed to make me feel better. He was very nice. I would definitely recommend this provider.

Woman that checked is in up front was very nice and helpful. Nurse that got me started was also very nice and caring. Doctor was pleasant and thorough. This is the best urgent care in the area. Facility was clean and they got me in quick. Thanks!

I went there for my physical exam for immigration today, The whole process was smooth, Lindsay was kind and gentle. My nurse Natalie made me feel at ease during my visit, I love her vibe. Also my dr, I will bring my girls tomorrow, I definitely recommend this place

I injured my hand during a time when most drs are closed. First time at AFC. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. They had X-ray equipment plus plus. Dr examined me explained nothing was broken. Gave me instructions how to care for hand. I checked out, again friendly staff. No complaints. Yes I did have a waiting period being a first come first served but I don’t mind when they are so busy. I will definitely come back.

I have been to quite a few urgent cares and doctors offices in my life. This one is by far the cleanest. The staff was the most friendly and extremely helpful. Check-in was very easy and it was just an overall great experience. I will definitely be coming back to this urgent care.

Super caring and responsive staff. Had a little bit of a wait (who doesn’t) and they communicated the updated times and checked in on me. Probably only waited about 10ish minutes to see the provider. Wonderful experience … minus being sick.

I have been to this location multiple times in the past and have left feeling listened to, cared for, and appreciated for choosing this office. It all starts at the beginning where I was greeted happily, and helped efficiently. The med tech/nurse was so calm and friendly. Quickly grabbed my vitals and tests. Then Dr. Wren (apologies for spelling) was quick to listen, and give his expertise. I left with a diagnosis, meds, and offered a work note! I can’t rave enough about this! I’ve been here once before over a year ago and The process took forever from start to end, keeping that in mind, I decided to continue to schedule my place in line for this location again, and when I got there, there were five people in front of me Which took two plus hours for me to be seen, and then, when I was finally brought to the back, they swabbed me very fast, took my vitals, by the time the doctor came in it was almost another 20–30 minutes. I understand today they were busier than normal, when I was there last time I was only me and one other person and I still had a lengthy weight very similar to this one.I definitely will not return to this location Desperate. I gave two stars because the staff was friendly.

I had to go here 4 times this past week with my 5 grandkids and they were wonderful each time. They took time to answer all the little ones questions and make them feel comfortable before checking them all for strep throat. A great place to go in that time when you cant get into your primary care doctors.

The clinical staff was amazing. But unfortunately the lady at the front desk was incredibly rude. My wife called after my son’s appointment to request a prescription be sent to the pharmacy. Upon calling, the lady at the front was short tempered and obviously didn’t want to help. She cut my wife off twice by transferring her to a phone in the back that was no help, seeing that no one answered. My wife called a third time asking her to please relay the information to the clinical staff in regards to the prescription and once again was no help. So incredibly disheartening to have a son sick with pneumonia and then having to deal with terrible customer service. Safe to say we will not be able to get the prescription filled!!

Took my mom there to take a look at painful lesions in her mouth, everyone seemed to be nice, however they sent a prescription to the pharmacy they recommended for the magic mouthwash, and that pharmacy did not do compounding. In order for me to get them to send a prescription to another pharmacy I had to call them 5 times to ask them to do it, it has been 24 hours now and they still have not sent it. And every time I called them they were saying that the doctor is busy with other patients, even though they havent finished helping my mom who was a patient there yesterday. On top of that we did not have insurance, so we paid $125 for the visit and still have not been helped. Not so urgent care!

Very busy, so I definitely had to wait well past my scheduled time, but all the staff were so lovely and attentive. They recognized that I was freezing cold(fever) and offered me a blanket. Passed out waters to everyone in the waiting room. They were under staffed in the back and did everything they could to help you. The back staff was just as kind

I got sore throat and caugh with a little fever then I booked my appointment through online at night. Tomorrow morning I went to see the doctor, but before I see the doctor, a nurse came into my room do the job, but I told the nurse don’t have insurance. So, the doctor came in and do the job with respectfully and deeply understand my situation without not costly. The doctors prescribed the meds what I needed to take. I highly recommend and deeply thankful to this doctor and nurses and office. They are so respectful and understand patient’s situation like me, they are the best!

Checked in for a strep test. Online sign-in was fairly smooth, other than a couple of instances where my uncertain tech skills were tested. All staff were friendly, informative, & my test result was returned quickly (no strep! Yay!). Will def go again when needed.

Got me in and out in a timely manner. All the staff were very kind and professional. My issue was tedious but it wasn’t given up on until it was treated. I’m very thankful for those who do this for a living, every part to make it all easy and convenient for patients.

Walked in with a 7 year old with flu symptoms.  No wait.  Online paperwork was quick and easy.  The young man that took vitals and performed the Covid/flu test was remarkable.  Very polite, informative and super cute interacting with my daughter.  Very pleased with our visit and will be utilizing this urgent care again.

This is the BEST urgent care. My infant granddaughter was seen and taken care of even though they were 5 minutes from closing time. Such good care from reception to nurse to doctor. Cant say enough great things about them. Highly recommend!

Everyone in the office was super friendly and helpful! I went in feeling horrible and they were able to get me in and out with prescriptions in less than an hour.

I had never been to AFC urgent care in Indian Trail but I must say that if I ever need an urgent care again, that’s where I’m going. The staff made me be comfortable and made they were so professional from the front desk to the checkout. Extremely nice and very quick. They were amazing!!! Highly recommend!!!

The lady on the phone when I called this location was extremely helpful and kind. When I got to the office, Natalie my X-ray technician immediately made me feel comfortable, taken care of and made me laugh. Volk PA-C was also informative and easy to talk to, as well as Coley, who helped me a lot and was very polite. Great team here!

I cannot express how great this place is. I suffer from a bad back among other ailments and walk with a cane when necessary. I pulled up and was struggling to get out of my truck and a LOVELY woman named Tonia held the door for me. She works the reception counter and helped me fill out all of the forms. She scanned my documents and got me checked in, in what felt like five minutes. They lovely doctor I saw was super kind, caring and listened to me drone on about all of my ailments, injuries, etc., and helped diagnose my issues and get meds sent in to my pharmacy in roughly 20 minutes. I can’t recommend this place enough, I will never go to another Urgent Care again. They treated me wonderfully and even made sure I got back out to my truck safety.

Brought our daughter in first thing on a Sunday morning after she woke up in the middle of the night with ear pain. Even though she was scared they were great with her, especially the doctor. In and out fast and with meds. Would definitely bring my kids here again if needed.

My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town and needed to be seen for a sinus infection and incessant cough. They saw us within 15 minutes of checking in, made a diagnosis and gave him treatments within a half hour. We were given a few prescriptions that we picked up that day and he was feeling much better within a couple days. The staff there were very kind to us and the facility was kept clean. We’re so happy we found this urgent care and highly recommend it to anyone needing quick care!

It was easy to make an appointment online, their communication was clear in text messages. My appointment went good and the staff was very professional. Also their office was clean and organized.

Everyone else had a 6 hour wait, this Urgent Care was 90 min. Im so glad we came here. The doctor was amazing and took the time with my 81 year mom to explain her best treatment options. Staff was wonderful, especially reception and nursing too. We would definitely be coming here again.

I recommend AFC for anyone sick and need to see someone quick. My family drives 20 minute due to how they’re friendliness and professionalism. Appointments can be made online and also the check in paper which makes the whole process nice when you are sick.

Walk in at 9:20am on a Friday. No wait to be seen, and my appointment was in-and-out by 9:50am. Was seen by an NPA and it felt like they cared about my health. Everyone who works there was friendly and accommodating. Will be my new go to Urgent Care.

I was impressed with the staff from check-in to diagnosis! Every one I met was professional and caring. The appointment was also very efficient. Overall an excellent experience which will cause me to recommend to others.

Great urgent care ! Always clean , friendly staff , never a long wait and all the doctors are great especially Dr. Wheeler ! I recommend filling out all forms on the website, it just makes it easier for the receptionist and yourself.

This was without a doubt the best experience I have ever had at an Urgent Care type Facility. The staff was courteous, calm and professional. The facility was extremely clean and they even had a tv in the patient room! We made an appointment for 11:30 and I was seen at 11:30. How often does that happen?? We’ve unfortunately needed urgent care services 3x in the past few months, twice on holidays! I personally have been seen twice, once with my husband sick as well, and once for our infant son. Each time we’ve been in and out within the hour with no appointment. The facility is very well taken care of, the staff is friendly and personable, and the service thorough but quick. When my husband and I were both sick they took us back and treated us together which I found to be very thoughtful and efficient. Will continue to come here over our primary care Atrium urgent care every time!

We wont be coming to this location again. I brought my husband in with headaches/fever/body aches, among other things. Before leaving our house his temp was 101.8. Upon taking his temp, the CNA remarked that it was just low grade but didnt tell us what it was. She tested my husband for COVID and flu but made him look away from her to the point where she had to come around him to make sure she actually had the swab in his nose. Totally understand not wanting to be coughed or sneezed on but she was wearing a mask and she should at least be able to see where her swab is. She also asked which two symptoms he wanted to focus on today. Then the PA came in and we asked what his temp actually was and she said Temperature? No, that doesnt matter. She asked what we would like her to do for us today. We were then told to ride it out until Monday and she told my husband to stop taking his temperature for his mental health. Are these people educated? As an RN, this advice just doesnt sit well with me.

Got me in super fast even with 2 people in front of me. Dr who checked out my leg was very nice and knowledgeable. The ladies at the front were also super helpful and nice.

We have been able to take our sick kids many times on Sundays and I love to have the opportunity for my kids to be seen by an amazing team and get the help needed from a professional Doctor. I would totally recommend this Urgent Care for anyone but specially for children.

I often bring my Mom here when she is not feeling well. The entire staff is amazing. When we 1st walk in a super friendly welcome is given by Tonia and Sharon. These ladies are an asset to the company for sure. Emily is very knowledgeable and genuinely caring. Thanks for taking good care of my Mom.

This place is amazing!! Walked in and was seen within 15 minutes. Taken back and PA was in there with us within minutes. With a little one, patience and care is a must and they definitely showed they cared!! Would 100% go back

I would definitely recommend AFC Urgent Care! The receptionist was very helpful. Colby, our Medical Asst, was so kind & even offered us water! The doctor was very nice too!

My baby was really sick we came there and the doctor that saw him said his problem will go away by itself. Also he hit my son with a door not even knocking before opening. After that visit we went to ER and thank God they determined what he had and gave him prescription. The only thing that’s good about this urgent care is the front desk.

Had a severe abscess on ear and dr drained and packed. Very informative during the whole process. All the staff was super friendly and such a comfortable atmosphere.

I have been taking my kids to this urgent care for a while now they are very fast. The doctors are amazing, actually the whole staff is. They take care of my kids and if they need something prescribed, it’s called in right away and that’s that!

I would recommend this urgent care to everyone. My husband and I brought our two young sons in tonight, probably about 15 mins before they were locking the doors, and then took us in. Our boys were very sick, and were just not getting over their infections (I don’t know they were infections at the time). They took us in with smiles, and helped guide my boys through the process. They were very patient, and kind. There aren’t many places any more that feel like they’re in it for the people.. but this place definitely does. 10/10 recommend!

Unfortunately, no one wants to ever have to visit the urgent care for obvious reasons of illness or injuruy, plus the horrible wait times. However, this is 1 urgent care that I am happy to report I would frequent if I had to go!! I have been to this clinic twice and and have had the most incredible experience and the most professional and friendly care! From the front desk check in (I think her name is Tonia), the support clinical team in the back, to the exceptional care provided by Ms Wheeler, my concerns were addressed, the interaction was amazing, and their kindness above and beyond. My visits were thorough and expedient. I cant say enough about this team! Thank you!

I was very pleased to be able to schedule a visit in the same day I tried. I knew my problem could not be put off and my doctor’s office is always busy. The staff was very nice and friendly. This is my second time having to use urgent care on a weekend and thus far a positive experience.

Clean, friendly staff and physicians but the wait time for a sports physical was a solid hour with only two people ahead of us. That may be the norm at an urgent care, so i cant really complain. My son said the assistant was also rude, which is why I gave four stars. Im not ready to write them off as my first visit for an illness went pretty well.

I had come in to the AFC urgent care to have what I thought was a cyst drained. On the phone I disclosed this to the nurse and she was incredibly helpful from the time I was on the phone to the moment they were doing the procedure. The doctor did a phenomenal job removing and draining everything from the cutaneous abscess. Especially because I was in an unfathomable amount pain do to having the lidocaine injected so I was screaming through the pain. And the nurse held my hand and they let my husband come back there and help me through the whole process. They gave me everything I needed for my post care and explained everything from my medication to how I would bandage the abscess up. Going to this urgent was also significantly cheaper than going to the hospital because there was no sedation. The team at this urgent care was the most compassionate people that I’ve experienced and I will definitely be back for anything else.

The PA Emily is amazing- very friendly, attentive and funny. I feel very comfortable with her as a provider (2nd time Ive seen her).Coley and Lindsay were incredible as well, very helpful, so kind and truly the type of people youd hope to find in healthcare.Coley answered my questions very well and Lindsay was amazing going above & beyond for other patients during their check in when they were having some issues using the ipad.I will continue to come here for my quick needs because of how incredible the staff is!

My experience at this Urgent Care facility was incredibly.I booked an online appointment for a physical.When I arrived I was welcomed by Tanya on reception who was polite and helpful. She took all my necessary information and was very patient and kind.Coly took me through to the medical room to take my blood pressure etc. My blood pressure was running a little high so he allowed me time to calm and relax. He helped put my mind at ease so after a short while my blood pressure was perfect. I also needed some blood tests to be taken and he was extremely experienced. I only felt a little scrape at the puncture sight and no bleeding or bruising afterwards.Doctor Wenn had the most wonderful bedside manner although still very professional. He was easy to speak to so I felt I could discuss any health concerns with him.I had a great experience at this Urgent Care Clinic and would give more the 5 stars if I possibly could.I will definitely recommend it to family and friends

This was my first time visiting an AFC UC. And I was pleasantly surprised how smooth everything went. All of the Atrium UCs were booked out that day so I gave this place a try. Very friendly and informative staff. The PA Doc that saw me (Emily) was excellent and down to earth. I kind of feel like this place is somewhat undiscovered because there was nobody at all in the waiting room. I will definitely be using AFC for my future urgent care needs!

Emily I believe she’s the PA she’s just the sweetest! Especially to my little daughter with her health assessment, So caring and very professional. From her and the front desk ladies. Thank you so much for everything. I usually don’t like visiting urgent care for obvious reasons and never had great experiences but this place I was very happy with. I highly recommend!

Everyone was so caring and helpful! I like how it is an actual urgent care and you don’t have to have an appointment like all the others. It is first come first serve and that is the way it should be! It did not take me long to get in. Loved the doctor too! She was so caring! The doctor that saw me coughed in his hands and did not proceed to wash them or use gloves, and as a medical professional and adult I would think you would know not to cough into your hands. He was also very condescending and talked to you as if you were a simpleton, and very much did not seem like he wanted to be there. However, the nurses and front desk associates were very friendly and helpful.

Cross posted as both branches were involved and not to mention, the receptionists at this location is just horrible, she acts like she is doing us a favor and we are being treated for free.I am not sure if all these reviews are fake or people dont understand that theyre ripping you off. Weve had some excellent insurance from our work places and instead of billing them, they kept sending me the bills. Upon confronting, they decided to bill the insurance but the next, we took our kids for an urgent care visit, they refused to see us. I mean imagine the embarrassment. They asked us to pay on the spot or they wont our kids. They ended charging us $530, and the wait time to check in was around 30 minutes because of their slow system/printer. So youd continue to charge ridiculous amounts of money yet wont upgrade your system? Got it.I called my insurance the other day and found out that they never billed them for the lab work which ended up being in collection (we have great jobs and perfect credit). Also, the original bill was way less than what they charged us. Isnt that ridiculous? So be careful of these scammers, we wont be going back at all.

This is my second trip to AFC Urgent Care IT. I have to say that each of the staff that I personally encountered have consistently been super friendly, welcoming, accommodating and appear to be sincerely caring. The nurses and doctors have all been patient and take the time to get to know you personally. They take their time to explain things and make sure that you have no questions. Not once have Ive felt rushed out and the waits each time have been reasonable. I would most certainly recommend this Urgent Care.

Was seen by Emily Wheeler and she was fantastic! She listened to every symptom I had and addressed each one! I can’t say enough good things about her, not to mention her caring and kindness! Exactly what I needed when I was feeling so bad!

Called and I got in to see the PA. Confirmed results of in home test and suggested a care plan. Wrote me a note for work! Professional and kind! Would recommend to anyone that needs to be seen on the same day as symptoms.

Visited on a Monday afternoon, right at rush hour. Was in and out in under 45min, including wait time, being seen by the doc, a quick medical procedure, and prescribed meds. Staff was beyond friendly and welcoming. Personally I wouldn’t go anywhere else. 10/10

The whole building smelled like cigarette smoke indoors. The staffed kicked me out of a wheelchair at the door when I couldnt walk from an injury, instead of letting me be pushed by my spouse to my vehicle. They didnt have my size foot boot in stock for my injury either.

Everything was smooth and pretty fast. I was in and out in less than 1 hour.

No wait time and the nurses and receptionist are nice. Some Doctors are nice too, except one doctor there. I do not want to mention names but I really recommend a one specific male doctor to brighten up his attitude a bit. That man is very rude and his attitude can kill anyone’s vibe. Barely treated us and prescribed us the medication. Last time I went there I had the same doctor and he came with his uniform full of food and with the same bad attitude, he is rude and dry .. to be in a profession establishment, please have at least the professionalism to clean your uniform. I don’t know if he likes his job, because it really doesn’t seem like it. Other doctors there are super nice and welcoming, if I ever need to go back I will ask to not see him. I’m sorry

We have been to AFC Urgent Care in Indian Trail several times over a period of time. Each time has been a very pleasant experience. No wait time, scheduled appt online, entire staff from the receptionist to nurse and the physician were super personable and very prompt. I would definitely recommend AFC to anyone in need of non-emergency urgent medical assistance .

I had a terrible experience because the perfume smell coming through the ventilation is so strong. It makes your allergies flare up... no urgent care should have perfume that strong when dealing with people who have asthma or allergies.

I can’t get over how nice and caring the entire team is! They actually seem to care and are never afraid to prescribe medication of it’s needed!I have chosen this office over my primary for the past few years!It’s so convenient to be seen with both of my children rather then multiple offices

My experience was just as advertised. No line, and no wait. Checking in and getting treated was quick and professional.

They are the most caring and compassionate set of people. Very warm and friendly The receptionist made you feel warm and inviting. The nurse he kept us laughing and very friendly. He definitely took the edge off for our Covid Testing. The Doctor she was amazing and compassionate. If I ever need to come back I will definitely come here.

My wife and I both had cold symptoms and were were also concerned about covid. Our caretaker signed us in while we waited in our car. When we were called, we had not over 3 or 4 minutes until we were called into the doctors office. Both the nurse and the doctor were very upbeat. It was as good an experience as one can have at a doctors office. We would highly recommend this Urgent Care facility to anyone who needs this service.

Before making the trip over to see the doctor, I was able to speak with his Assistant which is nothing short of a miracle nowadays. She was very helpful and educated. The front desk clerk had an amazing personality and the doctor spoke directly to my daughter and followed up 2 days later to check on her. We were both impressed and will definitely be coming back if needed. Dr. Wen, thank you to you and your staff.

This staff was amazing! I went online and schedule an appointment, I was in and out within 20 minutes. The nurse practitioner on my case was very sweet, great with my kids. She gave me a lot of information about what was going on with us, and the best recommendations on moving forward. I also gave her some info that was going on with me (outside of the symptoms that brought me to urgent care) and she made some phenomenal recommendations on how to do follow up care at another facility. I would recommend this urgent care anytime!

Have been a couple times and has always been easy visits. Everyone is friendly. I really appreciate masks being optional based on symptoms. Dr. Wheeler was great! Wish she could be our primary!

Unfortunately, my experience here wasn’t the greatest for the following reasons:1. I walked in and it smelled like a bar. The cigarette smell was extremely strong, even with a mask on.2. Incompetent front office staff. They couldn’t figure out my insurance information despite having my information the day before. No need to complete paperwork online, they will still waste your time and don’t know what they are doing.3. Lack of communication. I waited 30mins while they tried to figure out my insurance. Simple communication goes a long way.4. I walked in with pain and walked out without being seen and in more pain. What a headache?! Don’t waste your time here, because that’s what they like to do…Waste YOUR time!

There was a 15 minute wait while the office staff went over the necessary paper work.Then the nurse called me back and took my vitals, asked pertinent questions and told me the doctor would be in shortly. Within 5 minutes the doctor arrived. She diagnosed my condition, prescribed meds, and sent the script to my pharmacy. Once at the pharmacy, I had a 15 minute wait and then I was home. A very nice experience and very easy to make an appointment.
