Dr. Victor Cantero and his staff have made sure to make the process of having another baby so memorable. Dr. Cantero makes sure to make you feel completely comfortable and heard at all times. He takes your concerns seriously and foes above and beyond to make sure you have the most of your care as possible. His staff, including Jennifer and Michelle, is always welcoming and accommodating.Highly recommend Dr. Cantero’s office to any women looking for care.

I was dismissed for missing an appointment due to my child being sick. Now I’m 31 weeks pregnant, unable to find care, and I’m high risk. It was careless for them to do but other than that, the front desk staff is nice and friendly. Never really seen Dr. Cantero much himself but I loved the ultrasound tech, she was very friendly and patient. Wish I could’ve continued care with them but obviously they’re incapable of doing so!

After 13 years of visiting Victor Cantero as our daughters birth control doctor, and my wife’s OBGYN, the main issue with this practice has been some of the staff, which sadly undermines the hard work of having a private practice. It is not the first time my wife has been neglected of her time and proper orders for tests, under a really busy work schedule she books her Dr. appointments and screenings with anticipation of months, especially when she needs to be checked out constantly. Today was another of those days where she was requested to perform an ultrasound and was set to perform it at another place due the lack of on site services, and the request was not sent properly. It took about 6 months to do this appointment for the screening and again, Dr. Cantero’s staff didn’t do their job properly. We’re absolutely concerned about my wife’s not getting screened ON TIME after “something” showed up on past exams, and it’s the only Guilt of the staff of Victor Cantero if my wife’s condition worsens due a malpractice delaying my wife’s screenings due someone’s incompetence. I’m absolutely pissed and disgusted this keeps happening and they aren’t even answering the phones at their offices when you need them the most. Victor, we’re forever grateful of being my wife’s doctor, but your staff is gonna destroy your reputation and practice if they keep being driving your business like this. Be aware we’re not the only ones upset about the issues, also the ones we’ve recommended trough many years to work with you, have similar claims and have already migrated to other providers. This is also not the first time my wife has been vocal about the negligence with appointments or screenings requests in the past. Enough is enough.

Love Dr Cantero and his team, really professional, treat you respectful, always do there best and beyond. I recommend him and his entire office. Friendly atmosphere and clean. Thank you for the great job and to be here for me and my daughter. 🙏❤️

As a first time new patient; my experience was amazing! Dr. Cantero is the sweetest and extremely knowledgable. I loved how he took the time to explain step by step throughout my appointment. The staff was extremely nice! Their costumer service skill are definitely on point. That is hard to come across nowadays. They are extremely helpful and do everything in a quick timely manner. No bedside manner, no professionalism, felt bullied by staff, was given sensitive personal medical information in front of other patients. When I tried to share with management that I did not feel comfortable with how my medical information was being managed they screamed at me that this is how they did things. I read the 5 star reviews and went to this office thinking I would be in good hands - now I cant help but feel that all these reviews are fake because my experience was so vastly different.

Víctor is the best doctor any patient could even have. Since the time I found out I was pregnant I feel supported, understood and cared for, and during and after the pregnancy all the conversations, diagnoses, and procedures were clear and as expected but most important communicated in a human and personal way. I had my 2nd baby, obgyn procedures, and stayed in control with him and his team for almost 3 years now and it was the best decision. 100% recommended.

The workers at this facility are friendly and have great customer service skills. The wait time is amazing. I was seen before my actual appointment time since I arrived early. Also, the facility is extremely clean!

Guy at front desk is rude. I called because they are sending my information to another number that is not on file that I used to call but is sending my medical information there. That is a HIPPA violation. I asked to speak to the office manager she is busy. As I am asking the guy at the front desk over the phone when should I call back he ends up clicking the phone. My medical information should not be sent to a number that I never updated on my file.

I had the best experience while under the care of Dr. Cantero during my third pregnancy. The office staff were so kind, respectful, attentive and responsive. Dr. Cantero was always so kind, patient, warm, and compassionate. My plan was a VBAC and he always made me feel very confident in my birth plan. Towards the end of my pregnancy, my iron was significantly low and he made sure I started IV infusions right away. There were other concerns as well and he monitored the baby frequently (always making me feel safe). I always felt so well taken care of. Dr. Cantero truly cares about the well-being of his patients and I experienced it first hand. I am forever grateful for him!

Great service from the office staff and Doctor Cantero. This is my second pregnancy with him; I love that he is on top of things and you always get to see him on your appointments, ultrasounds are done in the office by the doctor which is a plus for me. I have recommended him to several friends and they all have loved him.

It saddens me to have to leave this review.I found this office on Zocdoc. Read the reviews & even when there were some negative ones I thought, let’s give this a try because there are people in life that complain about everything. I didn’t even notice the replies the office made yet. Very unprofessional.I came in & everything was great. The doctor is very down to earth. I felt comfortable with his communication.This is our first pregnancy so maybe We would’ve wanted a bit more attention, but I just think everyone goes through this, We are not special. I felt like Dr. Victor was great.A friend that works at the hospital where he has privileges recommended us to try another opinion with a doctor from the hospital.I went & tried it out because it wouldn’t hurt. But I had already decided to stay with Dr. Victor since he saw me from day one & I was happy with the staff.Everything changed with just one phone call.Someone from the office called me very rudely saying that I needed to make a decision right on that call. They needed to know in that moment which doctor I was going to stay with because I couldn’t have 2.This office is not the cheapest & I had still decided to stay with it, but this Woman was just so rude for nothing. Acting like I had just commited a crime!!I told her that she didn’t have to be rude & even if it was just my perception she could’ve apologized. But she just told me that she wasn’t being rude & that I couldn’t have 2 doctors.I asked how this affected their office & she couldn’t answer. Just kept mentioning that it was going to create confusion with my insurance which has nothing to do with them. She didn’t even ask if I was going to pay cash.Im sad that Customer Service is not a priority when comunicating with patients.It should be, the nurses shouldn’t be handling both roles.I’m really sad I’m not staying with them just because of this hiccup. But I just went for the second visit, If this happened so early I can’t imagine the rest of the days.Now, the doctor at the hospital was great too. They even gave us documents of all the upcoming consults, which stated what was going to happen on each one. In general I felt more informed as a first time expecting Mom.Here We just didn’t really know what was going to happen on each consult. Honestly It didn’t really matter to me. I was staying with Dr. Victor anyways, I liked him. I was excited to have my blood work done with them based on the expectations set by Dr. Cantero.Nothing to do with the doctor, but they are a Team. & their Patients are their Customers. Should treat them as such. Or just don’t do this line of business where You have to deal directly with people.Whoever called me, I’m sorry if You had a bad day. It shouldn’t reflect on how You treat Your patients, it’s not professional. (I know who it was, but I prefer to protect the name, because there is no need to discredit someone based on a bad day. Also I’m just one person & the other bad reviews are to few to create a strong opinion. Maybe I was just unlucky).Interpersonal skills. Key to life.If they approached it differently, professionally & as if what I did was not a personal attack, maybe I would’ve stayed regardless.Which I had already decided, even over my friend’s feedback.This friend works at the hospital & was alarmed when I mentioned my doctor’s name. I didn’t give too much attention because everyone has their own expectations & to me Dr. Cantero did a great job. This situation just made me wonder & changed my mind.Again I’m sorry this was our experience, Dr. Cantero did everything right. His voice is so calming/soothing & I really felt good under his care. Also, they always have great appointment times!

THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL OFFICE A HAVE EVER BEEN. I came to my appointment today all the way from Coral Springs to Miramar. I had to take time off from my job to come and when I got here they took my information everything was okay and when the nurse called me. She told me that the dr was not going to see me it was the nurse practitioner… I told her that I requested the appointment with the dr because I need surgery. She asked me to wait and when she came back she told me she was going to send me to the Weston office. She made me wait again for the address and more inf. After 5 minutes, 3 people came to tell me that the Dr’s son took my appointment and he made a mistake because they don’t take my insurance. They take it for simple test but no for procedures… which is ridiculous… that’s just $$$$$ problems. I explained to them that 2 different people told me they took my insurance and for me to come and be here and they find out just now that they don’t take my insurance for what I need is DISRESPECTFUL. And the main excuse to be “the Dr’s son is in training and he didn’t know”. They are clearly incompetente. In a doctor’s office “a good drs office” you make sure that the insurance and everything is correct at least 2 days before the patients appointment…. More than 3 mistakes and that cost me driving for 1 hour on the rain with pain, not working the whole morning, gas and my health is now in more risk because I have to find another dr and wait for the appointment… WHAT I HUGE FROUD!!

I don’t often leave reviews but Dr. Cantero really merits it. My family and I are forever thankful for him and his wonderful staff. He really takes the times to explain everything and he genuinely cares about his patients. My birthing experience was amazing thanks to him! I live a bit far from his offices however he is worth the drive! On behalf of my family we thank you for bringing our baby girl into the world.

I’ve been seeing APRN Nancy for a little over a year now. She is amazing! The office staff is friendly and always responsive. The wait times are usually pretty quick.Dr. Cantero delivered my first baby. I had a great pregnancy experience overall with this office. I’d recommend Comprehensive Women’s Center to anyone looking for quality care.

Honestly this has been one of the worst experiences for my wife and myself as we try to welcome our first child to the world. I would not recommend this office or doctor to anyone.UPDATE: Your response demonstrates you do not take the time to understand your patients and their families. My wife has been to your office 4-5 times with me present on two of those visits. I called and the office to speak to the manager and “Dr.” As a fellow health care provider first impressions are everything- the front Desk was helpful and great, but the patient care team did not meet the standards of care that we expect.

Both his miramar and weston offices are very nice. Ive been seeing him all throughout my pregnancy and havent had any issues. Never a long wait either, and he explains everything thoroughly. Id recommend coming to see dr.cantero

Made an appointment for my pregnant fiancé, they decided to wait until 30 mins before our appointment when we were already in the car and on our way there to text and cancel because they don’t see pregnant women under her health care provider. Don’t make an appointment here.

Dr Victor Cantero is a great Dr however his ofc staff doesn’t return calls. Over bills and leaves you on hold for over 31 min. never picking up the call. I called from a different number to learn they left me on hold and went to lunch. I have left numerous messages at in their voice mail during different hours (bus and after hours) to yet receive a call back from their office Manager in12/1/ 2022 Janette took a message for the ofc manager name Dinaris and today is June 27 2023 and nothing. I’ve been calling since at least May 2022 for two charges I’m disputing from March 2022 and almost a year and half later I have yet to get a response/ resolution. Instead I get a monthly statement for the same.

Best doctor ❤I had a very bad experience with my first baby with another doctor, God send me Dr. Cantero for my second and third. I wouldnt change him for nothing in the world. He is super caring, knowledge, informative, communicative and I can keep going and going saying good things about him. My first delivery was a C-section, he has done twosuccessfully VBACs to me. I can confirm what other womens’ reviews stated before: Absolutely the WORST doctors office! Incompetent, rude and unprofessional. They let me wait 3 hours in the waiting room because they didn’t properly verify my insurance prior to the appointment and all they care about is collecting your money BEFORE you even see the doctor.Michelle, his nurse, has no bedside manners at all, she is very unprofessional, impatient and extremely rude (rolling her eyes in front me when talking to my husband over the phone when he asked her to explain a medical abbreviation she used)Dr Cantero is careless and irresponsible. After a third party tech performed a pregnancy anatomical ultrasound at another appointment (another hour of waiting in the waiting room before being seen) it was mentioned that I have findings that make my pregnancy high risk. Several weeks have passed since then and Dr Cantero never called me to discuss the diagnosis with me, nor did he give me any advice about how to proceed with this pregnancy.The office pushed to get blood work done and never called back with the results. Again, it seemed more important to charge you for services but never follow through with communicating diagnoses and results.I will never go back to this office and this doctor will not deliver my baby!I have been to multiple ob/gyns in several states in the US and I never had such a bad and unprofessional experience like I had at this office.If you care about you and your baby’s health, I suggest you stay far away from this doctors office!

I was recommended Dr. Cantero by a good friend and thankfully I listened because after my first visit with him I got pregnant. This was my first pregnancy and I obviously was very quick to get scared, overthink or doubtful. When I tell you Dr. Cantero provided me the best care, I MEAN it. He would answer every question, concern, and comment thoroughly and with caring explanation. Not only was this given during my routine visits but also the numerous times that I would call after hours and on weekends. Not lying, within minutes he would call me back and answer my concern and direct me with guidance. He always would perform each ultrasound himself and would be on vigilant on each visit. Towards the end of my pregnancy he was attentive to all my mishap of false labors and finally in my actual labor he was obviously nothing less than great. I am currently 5 week PP and a week after my labor I had concerns and he automatically sent me medicine and asked me to come in the next morning. I really cannot stress enough the type of care he provides. As a first time mom best decision I made is having him as my OB. thank you Dr. Cantero you are the best.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cantero for 4 years now. He delivered my son in 2017. At first, I really liked this office because of Dr. Cantero, now that has changed. I am now looking for a new OBGYN. The customer service wasn’t always so good to me but it went from bad to worse. I have been calling their office for the past 3 days to speak to someone in their billing department and no luck! All they keep telling me is to leave my name and number and then no one calls you back. On top of that, they rarely answer the phone and the last time I called I finally got someone and she pretty much hung up on me after she so called said she was going to transfer me to someone. I’m so fed up with this office. It’s ridiculous! Never again, returning to this office. Gladly, going to find another OBGYN with a better staff and a staff that actually answers the phone and help you.

Dr. Cantero has been my OBGYN for the past 5 years. I will not change him or his staff as they are very courteous, you don’t wait long to be seen after your arrival at the office, there is no problem to schedule you in a short period of time. Dr. Cantero is amazing, very attentive and caring.

I went to this office for an annual and a problem. I still have not gotten my test results. I called back to speak to the nurse about what they billed out to my insurance improperly and she was extremely nasty and rude. Im still experiencing the same symptoms that I was experiencing when I went into him in the 1st place for my problem. I am an existing patient who has been driving from Ft Lauderdale to Miramar to see Dr. Cantero for years. I made an appointment on Zocdoc. I called the office and confirmed the appointment. My daughter had an appointment as well so she called and asked if she could move her appointment to the time that was closer to mine. Both times they confirmed. Went to the appointment only for them to tell us that we never called and their system is not synced with Zocdoc. That’s not my problem. I called and confirmed the appointment via phone. I also left a voicemail on their answering service. The doctor was in the office because I saw him with my own eyes and they have the nerve to tell me that he already left. That is unacceptable and very poor customer service. The person I spoke with at the front never once apologized for the inconvenience that they caused. I will be looking for a new OBGYN.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH DO NOT GO TO THIS CARELESS “DOCTOR”. I have serious life threatening complications with my pregnancy. He is completely careless, he proved me and it hurt! I’ve never been hurt by that before and I’ve done this many times. He told me to wait in the parking lot for my blood to be taken (he said they’d call), 4 hours go by and I go back into the office to find out they forgot about me. I couldn’t wait so I had to go back the next day. I called 4 days after blood work to get my result from a very nice nurse who said he would call once he reviewed it. HE STILL HASNT CALLED A WEEK LATER. He doesn’t care about his patience and has outdated knowledge. DO NOT GO TO HIM.

I waited more than over an hour for my appointment to get seen. They charged me before the procedures were done and the doctor came in and rushed the procedure didn’t really let me know what was going on. When i asked for a refund for a procedure the receptionist told me to wait and had a whole conversation in front of me about something that had nothing to do with work place just gossiping before helping me. I highly do not recommend this place I have been there for years and their front desk has always been very unprofessional. Point blank do not come here.

Same thing happened to me. I went to see Dr. Cantero back in April for my annual check up. They told me the doctor will be calling me back as soon as he gets the result. He never did. I called them back in may to see if they have my results. They said they did have the results but the Dr. will be calling me. And he did. He gave me the results. But, now i am receiving a bill for that call because for them its basically an appointment. Ive been calling them for almost 2 months now to make the payment and not success. They sent me to VM every single day and now their VM is seems full. I called them yesterday to make the payment and they told me the system is down and they have to call me back later on. I was calling just right now to make the payment but i was sent to the VM, again. Honestly, I dont even want to make the payment. But i dont want to be sent to collection for $45.00. I have been seeing Doctor Victor Cantero for many years, he is an excellent OBGYN. He has very good communication, explains everything in detail and with a very good character. He is very professional. Their work team is highly experienced, all very friendly. The office is nice, the environment is nice, pleasant and clean. They are punctual and serve you quickly.
