My grandson was off from school for the weekend and wasn’t feeling well. It was so easy here; it didn’t take too long. They gave him an antibiotic and he was so much better the next day and feeling all better when I took him back to school the next day after that. Very convenient!

Of all the Urgent MD they are the most efficient and proficient. Non-judgmental, courteous, good hours. Ms Tita the intake Nurse is also quite pleasant and amazing in how she handles your case. They cater to all ages and is multicultural.

You have been always very helpful to me every time I reach out to you. Last time when I came to your clinic I was in such pain because of your immediate care I was able to sleep that night and my pain faded away progressively.I am very grateful to you for what you did for me.. It is not everyday that you meet individuals who really care for others wellbeing even when working in a facility that requires excellent patient experience.On 9.16.24 I drove myself to Hewlett Urgent MD and was not as prepared for my visit as I should have been.But then the angel Angie was just the person I needed to deal with; instead of drawing a hard line with me, she courteously had me see an MD and pleasantly let me know I could sort my situation out afterwards.It is individuals like Angie that reminds us of our purpose here on earth which is to love, share and care for each other.Thank you Angie.

The doctors are amazing. They listened to my symptoms and prescribed the correct medication and because the pharmacy was closed, they provided me with information to find a 24 hr pharmacy.

From Checking In To Checking Out Everyone Was So Professional and Very Helpful. Dr Actually Listened To Us And Really Had Awesome Bedside Manner. Unfortunately You Just Dont See Now Adays.

If I can give no stars I would!! I’m not feeling well and the lady at the front desk her name is Christine, she denied me a visit because she told me I had no choice but to pay my copayment when I asked her if it can billed she said NO! they are not supposed to deny you a visit.

If you want to be felt like a burden to the staff while you’re in pain and suffering through a horrible stomach virus, then come here. Unprofessional. Google doctor is better than the doc at this establishment.

This has been my experience at this location. My daughter had a fever and wofe suspected UTI. Went there and turned put she did have a UTI as well as common cold. Some female PA prescribed a steroid for her cough and nothing else. They took a urine sample told me to wait 48 hours for results. 48 hours passed and nothing so I called.They told me the lab they sent it to (Sheraton?, Sheridan? Labs) had LOST the sample. Not only did they bungle up the labs but they never even reached out to tell me. They have a responsibility to safeguard samples they take and notify patients if something happens which they did not! So my daughter had to deal with a UTI for more than a week before we could get any antibiotics. When I finally did manage to get a hold of someone I had to first deal with the front desk person who asked my why I waited so long. I told her I didnt wait, not by choice.Then I spoke to a gentleman, probably another PA, who FINALLY wrote a perscription for antibiotics after close to two weeks now. I then went to a real doctor to check on my daughter and see if there were any effects from the long duration of infection. The doctor found nothing and recommended a pediatric urgent care in Rockville Centre, PM pediatrics which actually has a doctor on staff. I will be going there from now on to address any acute medical issues for my daughter. And steering clear away from Urgent-MD, they should rename instead to Urgent-PA. Never met a doctor there.This location is just another example of the inefficiency of privatizing and marketizing healthcare. PAs and NPs doing doctors work, grabbing anyone with a pulse to man the front desk, and subpar profressinals. And who is punished because of this? The patient.Irs a joke and if you care about your health and the health of loved ones Id steer clear of this place too.

I called after 9 to confirm their hours and said I was on my way. At no point did the receptionist say 9:45 was the last patient. Arrived at 9:46 and was turned back.

Lady in the front is beyond rude. Talks to you as if you were her child or something. No respect for patients coming in. Worse attitude ever. Suggestion: hire new staff that cares for the patient rather then staff that sound like they are miserable doing their job

Everyone is so nice and attentive at this office. The vibe was warm and welcoming from the minute I walked in. The wait time was very short. I was seen by a nurse practitioner who took the time to hear my complaints and to treat me accordingly.I would recommend this urgent care to anyone anytime.

This location saved my life. I came in for a severe sore throat. The front desk lady was very kind and made the check in process seamless. Courtney Juma was absolutely amazing. She was the sweetest and coached me through my issue. She gave me 2 emergency shots and prescribed me antibiotics. This is now my preferred location. Incredible staff! Thank you all so much.

Great staff and amazing perfectionism

I went in to be checked out, the young girl in the front was very nice, as was the PA. However, the other young lady that took my vitals was very rude. I thought she was just having a bad day, but she was being extremely rude to all the other patients who were just asking her simple questions. If I knew where to report her I would. She has no bedside manners. I understand working in health care isn’t the easiest right now but you shouldn’t take it out on the patients who look to you for help. Especially as aggressive as she was towards an elderly woman, who again was only asking a simple question. Might I add this one young lady in particular was the only one out of the staff who was being so rude and aggressive to the patients.

HORRIBLE! Nurse and PA Sarah have terrible bedside manners. Unwilling to treat. WITHOUT even taking a look at what I was explaining to her or even diagnosing my issue, she decided to tell me that she can recommend something to me that I can just use at home. Turns out my problem was even bigger than what she downplayed it to be. When I insisted for them to treat me, they started the process and left me alone in the room. It was only until I started screaming in pain inside the room when they came back in and had the audacity to say “well this doesn’t happen normally, I don’t know why you’re acting this way.” As if I was being too dramatic or something. Felt discriminated. Beware of this incompetent staff.

If I can leave this Urgent Care a lower rating I would! The secretaries and nurses all operate with the dirtiest attitude and have no respect for the people entering with health issues. The front desk girl looked depressed and didn’t treat us with any respect or welcome and the nurse had a resting b face attitude. Disgusting….If you could avoid this location, do so!!

I have a wonderful and amazing experience with this urgent care. The staff were very nice, kind and accommodating! I went there to get my rt-pcr test for my travel the next day. They accommodate me right away ! And got the result that morning! It was nice, fast and easy! I highly recommend this urgent care!

Visited the urgent care tonight. Dealt with wonder staff like Tita, Shiva and the manager Daniel. Easy in and out. Quick diagnosis and treatment plan. Been here several times and never had long wait, things move quick. Highly recommended.

My 3 years old kid’s school wanted doctor’s clearance since he threw up twice in school. So I went to an urgent care in Peninsula blvd, Hewlett. That place was weird! The doctor came and without any test he said my son has pneumonia and wanted to start antibiotics!When I asked how did he know. He said there’s no way to find out if he has any pneumonia because he’s so little and pneumonia can find out only through chest scan and no doctor will approve that. So I need to go with his assumptions. And when I denied he checked my son again and then he told me he doesn’t have any pneumonia! (Because by that time there was another doctor came in) Not only that once we started to check out they said there’s a $50 bill because they test for strep throat too! I said I didn’t ask for that and nobody notified me! And the front desk lady said she didn’t want to argue with us. Obviously we didn’t pay the money.That place is horrendous. They are using the worldwide crisis to make some money at the cost of our/ our children’s health. I’m willing to warn you all.

Today was my second time visiting this facility, and my experience was positive all around. From the initial intake to seeing the doctor, everyone was courteous and friendly and they had me in and out in no time. I never felt rushed, and the doctor explained things in a non-condescending way. The nurses were amazing as well. The place is super clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

This Urgent Care is the best one out there as far professional, highly qualified medical staff, and clean facility. Depending on the time you go, there may be some wait. They move patients through quickly enough. Shiva and Collin are amazingly patient, skilled, and empathetic. They made me feel at ease and comfortable.

I went to this location last Thursday, while my interaction with most of the staff was pleasant, my experience with the provider was not. She walked into the room and failed to introduce herself and there was no name badge visible on the lanyard. I did not expect her to be so dismissive, rushed, and overall poor demeanor while trying to have a conversation about my health. I had to find out that the provider was a PA and her name was Shiva from the receptionist. Not only did Shiva discuss my case with other people not involved in my care, she did it immediately after rushing out of the room. I’m sure this is HIPPA violation. This was the worst experience of poor bedside manner I have ever experienced. Her immaturity and lack of experience in healthcare is apparent.

The nurse was really sweet and she tended to Katelyn very patiently. Its hard to find help like that for a 2 year old. The gentleman was very nice as well, took her weight and height, let me take her temperature and blood pressure, so no fussy baby. I was very happy with the service and everyone that would come out as we waited which wasnt long by the way, looked very happy. The receptionist was very sweet and easy going and helpful. Hopefully my little one wont get sick soon but if I do I know where to go.Thank you guys, my little one is happy and dandy and that makes me even happier!!!

I have NEVER been so insulted and disgusted by another human being than i was on 2/25 around 630pm ET. I was trying to locate my elderly father who had gone to the other location which had closed for business for the day. I am in another state and was scared and panicked and in years from fear. The woman i spoke to was nasty, condescending AND hung up on my before helping me. This woman has no business working in any type of healthcare. My only regret was not getting her name so i could file an official complaint. But i will be calling to find out who she is.

I had severe lower back pain out of the blue. Front desk staff was patient and understood the urgency of my issue. In about 20 minutes i was able to see the Dr. Dr Van is amazing! He was kind and diagnosed me properly for my pains. I highly recommend going to this Urgent Care.

This doctor has no clue of what she’s doing you’re telling her what’s wrong and instead of listening she just make her own assumptions. The nurse before the doctor had a lot of attitude. They don’t realize that they are urgent care for a reason. Treating patients properly and making sure your properly diagnosing them should be priority. Not everyone with a license is a doctor.

Amazing staff! Front desk very accommodating, even when busy and a line out the door and late hours, they still worked hard and I was seen shortly.Professional, clean, and patient.Healthcare workers, especially the doctor/PA were phenomenal! Knowledgeable, clear, and friendly.Highly recommend!

I went to Urgent care 2 times recently and the team that took care of me were amazing, I was in so much pain and they made everything that they could to make me feel better and comfortable, but the girls in the front desk werent that nice, they made me wait so much cause I wasnt making noises or a big deal of the pain that I had the first time that I went, they didnt ask me what happen or if I was in pain ( I was dying inside) and let 4 people before me. ( 1 hour more, and I was already there for more than an hour)I went today to take the stitches out and the doctors and the nurses were amazing, took very good care of me.I will recommend this place 100% besides of the issue that I had to the girl on the front desk, because I complainted w her and after i came out, she realized that it was a big deal and Im pretty sure she felt bad about it.

I have been to this location numerous occasions and every encounter was very pleasant and professional. From the front desk receptionist, the young lady Tisha, to the techs in the back. Very clean facility. During the Covid spike I had to go more than usual and Tisha was always very helpful and comforting in such trying times. Highly recommended.

I have to say this started out as a pleasant experience from I entered the door. I was greeted by the warm and welcome smile of the front desk receptionist Kerri. Kerri immediately addressed my concern and kept a high level of professionalism. My vitals were taken within minutes, the assistant and practitioners that assisted me throughout my visit with were very efficient and informative. I highly reccomend this Urgent care facility. The warmth of the staff made me forget my illnessesAlso are you ready????? all of those happen in less than 40 minutes. Continue being great urgent care staff!!!

The regular PA that be there at nights, was stereotyping me , he was awful, I went there for back pain , he did not offer me privacy, and he didn’t even came in the room to do proper assessment on me, the man stand at the door way asking me what’s wrong, he didn’t even prescribed me anything for pain, he was just so judgmental and stereotypical and racist towards me!!!!!! he was rude and nasty, never felt so embarrassed in all my life going to the doctor!!!!! And you have to pay before you see them, so I basically paid for nothing, because he did absolutely nothing for my pain.

I went to this Urgent care place because I was not feeling well. The wait was no long and the people at the front desk were very nice with me. I did not have my insurance card like a physical copy and the front desk people helped me and allowed me to email it to them. In addition, the staff is really nice and really friendly. I’ve taken Covid test before and it’s so uncomfortable the person who administer my test told me don’t worrying that he’s going to be a gentle giant and he was. I can’t think of enough and the doctor was really nice as well and gave me medicine to help me to feel better. I used to go to City MD I will never go back there and will only come to this Urgent Care plus they are open late and they care about you and your well-being

They’re the best Urgent care I’ve ever been to. This was my second time coming here with my daughter who’s now 21 months.They cater to her ever need and made sure she was comfortable at all times. They made my husband and I feel a little bit more at ease when she had to get stitches.Definitely beats going to the ER on a weekend.

I had very good attention when I went to them at nite. I especially want to praise Collin who did my blood work. I never knew he did it and did not leave a mark. When you are in need of immediate attention I would highly recommend this office.

First time to visit an urgent care facility. Receptionist was wonderful. Tina my nurse was so kind, compassionate, caring, thoughtful, I cant thank her enough! I received a COVID-19 test at this clinic last Saturday night. Overall excellent experience. Hours are super convenient, and the staff are very knowledgeable. Would recommend.

Everyone is very pleasant. My wait time was all of 10 min before I saw the Doctor. He introduced himself,listened carefully and gave me excellent advice for my condition. Would definitely use them again.

I’ve been here multiple times for my girlfriend, one time she went for the stomach flu and was prescribed Zofran, which helped her a lot. I end up going in myself for the stomach flu, they gave me a singular Zofran and said they couldn’t prescribe me it and didn’t give me a reason and basically just shuffled me out of the building despite no other patients even being there.

I’m giving this place 2 stars because I’ve been here before and had decent service the other times. Based on today you have 0 stars and I will never be back here. I waited over 2 hours- the front desk was overwhelmed. I believe they forgot to put my name on the list. When I called the first time they said I had 3 people in front of me. When I called back an hour 15 mins later they still didn’t know when I would be called . Then they started to gaslight me by telling me they called me, which they hadn’t. You know someone messed up when everyone is scrabbling and looking at computers and not saying anything. People come to urgent care because they are ill. If you’re going to have people wait for 2 hours with various symptoms let them know so they can go elsewhere. I know you want the money which is why I made sure to let everyone in there know how I really felt about them and the situation. I hope it was worth it. I’m currently at LIJ Franklin and I was seen right away. I’m sitting in a hospital room by myself and gonna be tested. I haven’t been here for 20 mins and already saw a doctor. Get it together over there. This type of service is a joke. When people are sick, they are at their worst and you don’t need a snarky receptionist, nurse or PA making a bad situation even worse.

I went to the urgent care in 5 town and they were closing so they referred me here. I got there and my info was already in the system. I was in pain on a scale of 1-10 I was a 10. Dr asked if I had underlying issues. She did urine sample, labs and Ekg. Ekg came back inconclusive so she suggested I go to the ER immediately. She advised ambulance would be 1hr so I called my uncle. She gave me paperwork in an envelope and sent me to Mount Sinai Oceanside Hospital. Thanks be to God she did. I got admitted and had emergency surgery to remove my Gall Bladder and remove numerous gallstones that were stuck causing the pain. Its been 7 weeks since my surgery and glad I was in the right place at the right time. THANK YOU TO THE TEAM. You did what you had to all while keeping me informed at all stage and making me as comfortable as possible given the situation. Your Urgent Care will be my urgent care of choice and referral.

My experience was above and beyond :)))) they took my son in very quick and all of the staff was amazing , very nice and fun with my son , made him feel so comfortable.. thank you so much I hope every place were like them

While I was able to sign in and pay very quickly I ended up waiting almost an hour for the dr to come in the room. They need to have another doctor on staff because 1 doctor and a waiting room full of people is a bad recipe. They received 2 stars because the place was clean and the staff was apologetic. But ultimately, my time is valuable.

Extremely rude, unprofessional doctor. Her name is Dr. Cobat. I came in with pain all over my body and tried to explain my situation, I was wrongly diagnosed and was given antibiotics for something I didnt even have? I also wasnt given discharge papers?? They werent compassionate at all and it was an unpleasant experience. I will never go there again. If you really dont want to be there, dont put your problems on anyone else. Horrible.

I was there last Friday night. They took me in within a minute, I didnt have to wait at all. A few minutes later the doctor came in saw me, diagnosed me and gave me the first dose of meds so that I wouldnt have wait until morning for the drug store to open. I had a very bad swimmers ear infection so you can imagine the pain I was in and how much I appreciated that kind of service. This is my go to location when one of my family is sick. I recommend it.

Entire staff was pleasant and helpful. Had a lacertion requiring a few stitches. After waiting for over an hour at the emergency room at the local hospital. I contacted Urgent MD to inquire if they can stitch me up. Best decision I made. The took me right in cleaned and treated my wound in less time than I spent in the ER waiting area.

Took my very sick daughter at 9:30pm the place closes at 10pm.We were told they could not take any more patients, because they had 5 patients waiting. I asked if an exception could be made for a child crying due to ear pain.the secretary did not even try to ask the doctor if it was ok. Could have shown some charisma about the situation. Show that you care for the patients not that you are worried about going home. I could not have the heart to see a sick child crying of pain and be cold about the situation.

My visit was wonderful. There was virtually no wait time (5minutes). The receptionist, medical assistant, and doctor were all very courteous, friendly, and professional. I was diagnosed and my prescription was waiting for me at the pharmacy, so there was no delay regarding my treatment. 5 stars all the way!

I visited the Urgent MD office frequently becis it close to my house and to get covid tested for work on a weekly basis. The ladies that work there are phenomenal., excellent service. I remember over the holidays when getting a covid test was so stressful due to crazy long lines, they were so organized and so friendly getting people in and out.I wanted to recognize the young lady who always have color green or blue in her braids, She is amazing and always have a smile.im sorry cant think of her name. All the stuff there is Amazing. I love the hours, super convenient

The best experience by far. As soon as you walk in to the clinic, they absolutely take good care of you, all the staff shows a genuine interest on the patient. I really like this place. Parking is never an issue, the staff is really polite and professional, and my wait is never past 10 minutes. Now that does not mean that it cant get very busy, but they really move quickly and efficiently.Ive always returned there to have my follow up PCRs.

Honestly you guys should just close down completely! I was there 1 hour before. Zero zero empathy for a sick pregnant woman! I was refused to be seen even after I explained I’m pregnant and I’m scared your staff is very rude I could have been told nicely I’m sorry we have reached our max capacity I was told rudely to leave! I will never come here again! And I hope management looks into this because you are a medical facility you should have empathy for ppl. Also you guys should have a way for ppl to book an appointment online really horrible that you have your sick patients wait in line in the cold!

This was my third visit to urgent MD located in Hewlett NY. Each time I felt comfortable due to all the staff. The Dr/nurse are all patient and the visit never feel rushed. The wait time is never long as well.

I was hesitant to post this review, however after hearing from another friend who had a horrible experience at the Urgent MD in Hewlett I felt it was necessary. Two weeks ago my 21 year old daughter went in with complaints of discharge and a cyst/visible mass in her lower eyelid. She was seen by a female doctor who was condescending and before she could finish cut her off and stated, Its just a sty. We all are taking extra precautions because of COVID but doctors sign up for this. Luckily, I have prepared my daughter to to advocate for herself. She was adamant that the doctor look at it and was prescribed drops. When she asked for discharge papers, she was given progress notes with no assessment or plan. At the pharmacy it turns out the doctor may have realized that it might be more than a sty and actually prescribed drops, oral antibiotics and ophthalmic antibiotic ointment. No explanation! Typically we have a good experience but this doctor qas horrible. We are questioning if it is related to race or age or both. My daughter is Black and young.

Came here to get my COVID test as it was the only place open at 10pm at night. Very fast! Very happy with the ladies at the reception desk that were extremely friendly and welcoming as well as the assistants and doctor in the back. Thank you for great service! 😊

Honestly, this was the smoothest urgent care Ive ever personally experienced. The staff was approachable and well informed. They took my medical concerns seriously and they tended to me quickly. I would strongly recommend this site to others!

It was approaching midnight when I accidentally cut my finger very deeply. I tried to stop the flow of blood by home remedies, but nothing worked. I really did not want to go to the ER and spend half the night there, waiting for the doctor. Fortunately, this Urgent-MD office is not far away. The office is open until 12 am. The doctor accepted me at 12 at night! My appointment took more than 20 minutes (pain relievers, suturing, vaccination against tetanus etc.) I am deeply grateful to the doctor, nurses, receptionists, who, because of me, had to finish their working day much later. They did their job very kindly and highly professionally.Thank you!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. From the front desk lady to the nurses and the doctor, I received excellent care at the clinic. In addition, theres plenty of parking and a CVS pharmacy right next door. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

I NEVER leave reviews whether I have a good or bad experience but I had to leave a review this time. Really great experience, the entire staff was a pleasure. I definitely recommend this center. I wish I remember the Jamaica male nurses name. Hee made me feel very comfortable and well cared for.

They were very professional in every way. The place is very clean and the people in every department were courteous and friendly. The doctors, nurse practitioners, etc. did a thorough exam and explained what I had and prescribed meds. I’d go back any time I’m not feeling well and my doctor wasn’t around.

This URGENT CARE CENTER use to be a friendly and caring place to go If you needed to see a Dr quickly however, thats not the case any more this place went straight to the DOGS. one receptionist in particular gossiped about the patients that were coming in the office and speaking about their health issues when they left the waiting area. I was appalled by her attitude and demeanor this is not acceptable behavior.The Doctor that wears the turbine is RUDE she lacks sympathy. She refused to treat my niece asking me where were her parents when both her parents are deceased I recorded the event that transpired and will not hesitate to disclose it.BE CAREFUL WITH PERSONAL INFORMATION / FRAUD AND THEFT

I have always had a pleasant experience at this facility, despite the circumstances which bring me here. The staff is courteous, professional and empathetic. The wait times are very short and the care I and my children have received has been thorough.

I had a bad infection with my cartilage piercing and I’m extremely sensitive to pain . They did a really great job with taking it out with very little pain . They injected my ear so that it would be very numb and less painful. Doctors were professionals and a Very comforting group of people . Great experience for first time being there !

Accidentally cut myself on friday night and they stitched me up in less than 30 min, great service and fast. Im not sure her name but the nurse that brought me in was great, shes funny and detailed. She explained everything outright and was extremely personable. The doctor who saw me was quick and attentive, he stitched me up withoutme even feeling it. I appreciate all of their help and attention. dc

The receptionist and the nurse were lovely. The PA was horrible. I went in for an allergic reaction and the PA stood in the corner as she talked to me. Not once did she ask me to remove my clothing to see the areas of outbreak. She suggested it could be bed bugs and said to visit my primary care physician. She also said she COULD give me a steroid shot but she wasn’t COMFORTABLE with doing that...the worst medical examination in my entire life.

The staff was welcoming and pleasant starting at registration to the provider . My daughter was seen promptly , within 1/2 hr my visit was completed . Thank you !

I had a laceration on my leg that happened late on a Sunday night. Luckily this facility was open past 9PM. Turned out I needed stitches. Ive returned twice for a wound check. Today was the third check. I have the beginnings of a wound infection which they took very seriously and prescribed an oral antibiotic. Hopefully the stitches will be removed in a week. Had i not gone to them my leg would have been in bad shape. Drs. Chen and Van very caring and professional.

Monday 01/02/2016.It was my first time visiting the Urgent care in Hewlett. The staff was wonderful. I waited a while to see the doctor but i didnt mine, the nurse that assisted us would check on us frequently as we waited. I would recommend this place.

The wait wasnt too long at one point staff came out and addressed the waiting room that they were busy and moving as fast as possible. So they saw people and showed consideration to the experience . The Dr. Was on with his diagnosis I got my script the same day and ceel a helluva lot better. So a thank on this post..

Walked in with what I thought was a sprained wrist, waiting time was short, doctor and staff were great; I had X-rays done with showed a fracture, the doctor physically showed me my X-ray, gave me my report and gave me my X-ray on a disk. He then put a splint on my wrist and told me to follow up with orthopedic. I felt he was very kind and thorough.

Very clean, all staff were pleasant and professional. The entire visit both times that I went there was a wonderful experience. Spent about 1 hour from time of entry to the time of being seen and taken care of. Will always go there. Their equipments are also clean and up to date.

The first time i had to take my daughter to an urgent care. It was the most amazing experience. The front desk, the assistants and the doctors were exceptional. I am very happy i went to this location.

Doctors are great. Staff is extremely unprofessional. Ive called the billing department with my insurance company several times about a bill I keep receiving my insurance company already paid out. They have zero courtesy to call me back and now they are sending me another bill telling me it may be sent to collections when Ive called them several times to address the issue and I have gotten a nasty attitude from the receptionist. Will not be coming back because this place is administratively unprofessional

I have to say coming to this place has been the best experience Ive ever had when it comes to Covid testing. The staff was very friendly and professional. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this visit. It took me longer to get to the place than to actually have the test done 🤣. Would definitely recommend this place and will most certainly will be coming back.

I get all my PCR COVID-19 tests here and they are super fast and efficient. I love how quickly you are in and out and they make sure you understand what they are saying and what needs to be done. If you have to go to urgent care Urgent-MD in Hewlett where you should go

Extremely professional and friendly. This is the second time I have gone here and no wait time. Everyone is so friendly from the front desk to the nurse and doctors. I recommend this location more than any ER or any other Medi merge place.

Very angry and sad 3 hours with my children making a line on the cold after 5:30 P:m for the covid-19 exam they asked me for my health insurance, I don’t see any sign that said they did not accept my insurance and they did not want to accept it. they wanted to charge me 75 dollars for the exam and I was very bad with all the symptoms of the covid, it gave me a feeling of discrimination until I wanted to cry, I left the place but I feel discriminated.🥲

I dont like going to the Dr. for an emergency but they made the trip well worth it! First time here and if need be hopefully not. Id definitely go back again! Open late and everyone was very friendly and respectful! A definite recommendation!

Clean environment. The Physician Assistant we saw was great. He connected with the kid and actually gave her good advise for school and her future career path. He was very personable and relatable.

Staff was great. Sherese and Sasha were pleasant and professional. Dr. Byalik was thorough and answered all my questions. I gave it a 4 because the day I went it was raining and it was also raining inside at front desk. Garbage cans were full of rain.

I came in because I felt like I had a flu or a bad cold. They nurse did a strep test on me. The p.a Miss Shiva came in and looked in my throat. I asked should I do a flu or a covid test. She said it wouldnt make a difference. Well if it was the flu I found out later she should have given me the Tamiflu or a zpack. She said if I dont feel well after the weekend I can go to my primary.So I did not feel well, I called my primary , which said without a pcr test we can not have you come in.So all in all, I shouldnt have to be the Doctor. I have been here before and have had better experiences with competent people.if this is the new norm it is sad

Wait time is short. Doctors are knowledgeable and diagnose well. I came in with the flu late, but the doctor gave me antibiotics and I was feeling so much better the very next day. Staff is friendly too

Im not the type of person to give just 2 stars but my reason for it is only based on the lady who brought me into the back to see the doctor and its not the Indian lady shes super nice and works at the Cedahurst location.I came in today because I was concerned with some I had and got worst, since I care about my body. I tend to freak out as we all should.I explained the issue to her I guess since shes African American they have more experience with this issue as she made it seem to be. So I told her I believe its ringworm and the reason for believing it is, because I googled it I WebMD it and I did a bunch of research on the Internet and saw a bunch of videos as well.I know Im not a doctor but I do try my best to be well informed of what it could be and what it couldnt be.Her response to me was so vicious that I was in disbelief, She started with I hate people who think they know after that I zoned her out because Im an adult and I dont wanna put myself in a predicament of getting in trouble over someone who obviously has some type issue and lashed out on me for it.That was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had in my life. Someone who isnt a doctor nor has had any education in medical field like a doctor to tell me that she hates people who try to explain what they think is going on with their body and their scared and worried that it can be something bad.She was completely out of place and if this is how they treat patients here then I dont recommend anyone going to get checked if this person is there.Doctor B. Byalik of the Hewlett location was great and let me explain myself as best as I could which I truly appreciate!!The receptionist was super friendly and very understanding!!The Indian lady who works at the Hewlett and Cedahurst location is a doll!!Dont let this review discourage you from getting yourself checked at these locations but be aware of the people that work there and if they lash out at you its your choice on how you will handle the situation.I rather put this person on blast maybe something will change for the best for her, especially if shes gonna seek something more above then the position she already has.

Unprofessional and rude, I had an ear infection so the nurse had to flush my ear out I was in tremendous pain and I told her multiple times that what she was doing hurts very much which is why I keep moving and she told me “if you keep moving you could just go somewhere else” and they also sent my prescription to the wrong cvc!!! Very rude staff and not very attentive I wouldn’t even waste my time coming back here.

I almost went to the E.R. last night thank God my friend convinced me to go to urgicare and i found this place. It was clean the staff was friendly and most importantly it was a breeze. My 10 year old daughter hurt her wrist and xrays only took 15 minutes. It was broken and out took them no time to cast up and were out of there in about an hour. This is my new go to place.

Awesome Timely Service. Friendly Staff. Well equipped. Clean. Professional. Have visited the facility several times and have never been there past an hr with average wait time 10 mins if that before seeing the doc or PA and a lot of the time thats just paperwork. Def recommend over the emergency room u less its LIJ (lol)

Horrible, stay away. Went there for a covid PCR test because tested positive on a rapid. Waited over an hour to get the test, and now cant get the results because the app isnt finding it and no one is answering phones, as soon as it tries to connect me to a live person it hangs up right away. Been trying for two days. In the end just went to another place to get another PCR test.

This is Luis Osorio on my wifes account with google. My experience and our son named Lorenzo was great. The fort visit wasnt so good due to a particular employee however, it was on point now and I would most likely recommend Urgent-MD to others.

Terrible experience the doctor was in a rush and it was very noticeable. I had a bump on my eye that I clearly felt like was not a stye and she made me lift up my own eye with Not sanitized hands and just prescribed me medication for a stye. Its been 14 days and I obviously dont have a stye when the bump is still on my eye. Just saying if youre a doctor youre messing with peoples health, if its too much work for you then you shouldnt be a doctor at all.

I had a bike accident and had multiple areas of bleeding on my legs and arm.The care and concern of both Dr Maria Renta and her assistant Ms Tina Caulfield far exceeded my expectations.This was my first visit to this facility and I was treated like a long time patient at a private practice.

Curtious, expeditious and accommodating service and great follow up.Was treated within 45 minutes or less. Same treatment in an ER took me 7 hours with exactly same results.Kudos MD Hewlett 😊

First time visiting. The staff there is great. Very caring and professional. They took care of me. They also took xrays. And gave me my results . I was there no longer than 1hr. Mentally i left thete feeling must better ,knowing nothing was seriously wrong. Thks urgent care for be there for me.

My visit with Urgent MD was the best I had since I started going to Urgent Cares. From the Registration, To PA X-ray Dr Renta everyone was very professional. If ever you need an Urgent care I highly recommend 1220 Peninsula Blvd Hewlett NY

Went for a covid test and the place was packed. No social distancing and no limits inside this very small facility. When the tech (large man) called me he had his cloth mask (not medical) on his chin, when I asked him to put it on properly he was clearly agitated so I offered to leave. He then put it on. I was then escorted into a room not much bigger than a closet and the door was shut. Even with his cloth mask he was breathing on me so hard I just wanted to get out of there.So this guy is giving covid tests all day with no PPE on and not caring about protecting himself or others. Apparently the clinic does not care either to let staff work with no PPE in a packed facility. The place is an unprofessional mill packing people in like cattle. I will now have to go somewhere else for another test because if I didnt have covid when I walked in I might have had it when I walked out. Could be super spreader site. STAY AWAY, FAR FAR AWAY.

This place was exactly what I needed. Didn’t feel well, showed up expecting a long wait time, maybe rude or disinterested employees but was more than pleasantly surprised. Staff was very attentive, sensitive and very prompt with their service. Would def return (hopefully I won’t have to anytime soon lol) and recommend. Thank you!

The staff memebers were excellent. They were so sweet to my son. I really appreciated it. Its the little things that count that makes patients feel better and the staff there made his day.

Anytime I ever need to go to urgent care I go to this urgent Care. They have taken care of me for minor emergencies and made the process and simple and transparent as possible.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had visiting an urgent care. Do not spend your time or money here. They are not attentive nor do they care about your problems. There number one concern is the money and it shows in their lack of customer service.

One of the major downsides of being the only game in town is that you dont have to try hard. I waited 20 minutes to be seen when there was only one person ahead of me. And then I spent another 30 minutes in a waiting room. They are woefully understaffed and/or just dont care. If there were any other urgent centers I could go to in my immediate area, I would. Because this is unacceptable.

Went there because I was not feeling well, and the assistant came in swabbed me for covid.. a few minutes later she returns and says that I have covid and hands me the results and then tells me good night.... no one came in to check my vitals until I insisted.

I went in for a COVID-19 test. The staff was very friendly, the doctor and nurse were great. I’d definitely return for any urgent care.

Not crowded...but needed to wait forever to be brought to the back. Then needed to wait forever to see doctor, then needed to wait forever to get x-ray and then told x-ray would be read tomorrow.Waste of time!Should have gone to the ER.Did finally read the x-ray.. But 2 hours when barely 4 people in front is crazy.

Having used this location a few times I am always extremely pleased with their kindness and efficiency. Their wait times are short compared to other facilities in the area.

A bit of a long wait although there wasnt anyone or very few people in there. Came in for a cough (bronchial in nature) and I was prescribed a Z pack and mucinex. Still sick. This day 14 of the cough and my second urgent care visit- different facilities. Sigh.

All staff are very nice and productive. Took a while to see a Dr but the reasoning is they are the only place like that in that area. The doctors are amazing and I would 100% go again.

I was in and out I absolutely love it, I drove all the way over here from patchogue ny and I am pleased with how fast the service was and how well I was treated. The front desk was very kind, and so was the nurse and Doctor.

I had a satisfactory experience all in all. I would rated it higher but do to the fact I received a blister do to the wrapping was to tight on my hand, which is healing now. I received the wrapping due the sutures.

Tatiana did my vitals and was very friendly and efficient. The doctor took her time to explain things and was nice l. Would recommend.

I did not like the nurse that was servicing me but the doctors are nice.Nurse made for a sour visit as he was rude in conversation with me and also forgot to take my temperature and blood pressure levels even after a doctor asked him to.

Was seen quickly. Very courteous staff. My only suggestion is get rid of the paper forms and use tablets for people to sign in and or update their information

The worst service ever, wait long. They ask you to come back and when you come back iys the same excuse, sp they send you tp thwir other. Both offices claim they dont have trained staff to get your labs done or they just dont have anyone available to do so. Waste of time.

An urgent md center is only as good as its service. The service here is nasty and distasteful. Its almost as if they do not want patients to walk into their front door.

My mom had COVID and the lady that checked her out disregarded that she was also diabetic. We only went to the hospital because her doctor called her.

I would have given more stars because of the DO but the nurses are not very hospitable,got there when I was really not feeling well,the nurse didnt even acknowledged to ask how I was feeling,then today I call for the covid test result and the nurse give it to my son in seconds,so I called a few minutes after and she wasnt pleasant,saying what am I questioning her about giving the info too quick.not professional at all.

The staff is very fast and professional .. they went above and beyond to treat a problem that 27 medical places could not do including emergency rooms from hospitals to primary care doctors as well , Id definetly come here next time instead of waisting valuable time at other doctors or ERs
