Blue sky medical are the best medical professionals in All of Western North Carolina. Kathy Motes and her team have healed me from Covid and RSV into a strong healthy woman again. Their methods are for healing the whole person inside and out! Thank you all for your expertise!!!

I use Blue Sky for hormone therapy, primary care, and dermatology. I always get great care. The offices work well together, and have been helpful in making referrals to resources that they are not able to provide. I could not ask for a better group of health care professionals, as well as, all of the support staff that help make gettIng the care I need a good experience. I would recommend this team to anyone. I have been a patient for several years now, and at 50, even with some health problems I feel healthier than I did in my 30’s.

Do not use this group. I was told I could be self pay when I called to schedule my appointment and the initial charge would be $200. I asked to pay upon check out and was told their was no need, they would bill me. They subsequently filed my insurance and billed me $384 instead. I called and explained the situation and was told that I should have paid at the time of service. I explained that I asked to pay and was refused. They refused to reduce my bill and that it was my mistake and I should have insisted that they take my payment. This is a scam. Don’t trust these people.

I was referred to BlueSky MD by my primary care physician. The process from setting an appointment for a free consultation through the actual face-to-face care and scheduling on-going appointments was seamless. Great web enterprise messaging and reporting tools are user friendly. As if that werent enough, the cost of services is reasonable, and if you have medical insurance, some services are partially covered. All-round win-win.

Having worked in the medical field in Florida, I feel very fortunate to have found and received such excellent care from Monica Corn, Dr. Harris and their wonderful support staff. I and our community are fortunate to have them.

I am very happy with my results so far. I have been going 11 weeks and have lost 10 pounds.

I like working with Suzanne Wilkins but on my first blood test visit I had left documents for her to see. Unfortunately, the front office or some other practitioner there lost them. I was very upset about that but Suzanne was very helpful with my health situation and I felt better.

I’ve been going to blue sky for over 8 years now. This visit and others in the past made me feel like it was my first time there and knowing nothing about me. I feel like it’s all about selling a T-Pellet and the money anymore. I still feel like crap with or without a pellet. I feel like I’ve been overdosing on pellets for years now.

I had a wonderful experience with Blue Sky. I wish that I had gone to them sooner. My menopause symptoms like fatigue, joint aches, hot flashes and an overall feeling of blah are gone. Ive also lost 13 lbs so far. It was impossible to get the weight off before Blue Sky.

When I complained of three weeks with my medication not being called-in, dropped me as a patient. No phone call no email, nothing. They dropped me with a message to my last review on here. Kept my money but never called/in medication…Patient abandonment?

My wife was told to take an antacid for bacterial pneumonia diagnosed at Pardee. That is the level of care you will receive at Blue Sky after being treated like livestock. Digest that information as you wish.

I have been going to blue sky for a few weeks and I can already tell that this has been the best decision for my health. I am someone who typically dreads any sort of doctors office situation and this place does not feel like one. It feels like going to a spa once a week 😊. I am seriously grateful that I found this place. I also never thought that I would look forward to getting shots, but here I am getting the weekly b12 and mic shot. I have an extra pep in my step and the lady who sticks me is so gentle that I barely feel it. Before this program, I thought I was one of those people who couldnt lose weight. I tried so hard on my own and after going here I really totally get that not every program out there is a one size fits all. I lost 2.2 lbs in my first week! So happy to have Blue sky in my corner. Im really looking forward to seeing where my weight loss journey takes me!

Im not sure how to write a review for this office. Ive been to Dr. Harris once, and I really liked her. She was open and kind just generally willing to listen and respect my ideas about health. Five stars for Dr. Harris. Zero stars for my experience with the staff, especially someone who I was told was the office manager. No one gave me my initial log in information for the online portal. I called several times over a week and no one returned my calls. I finally called and the front desk people were attempting to work me through the process. After several tries, I noticed that they had my email address wrong. We made that correction and still I wasnt able to log in. They wanted me to come in with my phone, so that could look at it. Im not sure what this had to do with anything. I was eventually transferred to the office manager, who wouldnt let me talk. I kept trying to tell her that if she listen to me we could figure it out together, but she said no maam and hung up on me. Thats right. A professional in a doctors office hung up on me.Things have continued to deteriorate since I wrote the original post. I am no longer able to even reach my doctor. My calls always go to voicemail, and much of the time I dont even get a call back. I called recently because I thought I had a kidney infection and left a message saying I was going to wait for a call back from the doctor to see what I should do. I never heard back.

No long waits, and good communication about questions, billing and treatment. The treatments work, I went there for hormone therapy, hoping it would help my sleep problems. I now sleep a solid 7 hours and no longer feel exhausted when I get up and I am dragging my self around at the during the day or falling asleep while watching tv.

I have found everyone to be quite professional, happy, and helpful except for Zoe in Billing. The registration assistants were pleasant and told me about self-pay but I had questions. After my own research, I found sometimes it is advantageous for self-pay and other times it is not. I do appreciate my experience in the Hendersonville office.

I could not be happier with results from blue sky. I am losing weight. I am feeling amazing. I meet with the nutritionist every week who gives me more insights on how to do even better and what things to include or exclude from my diet. They really leave no stone unturned when it comes to a weight loss program.

Results! Im losing pounds but even better, Im losing fat! Lots of it! The only weight loss program that, based on my bodys chemistry, identified WHY I was so fat even though I ate less than anyone I know, and provided an eating plan to address it. And its sustainable.The focus is really on health and proper nutrition. My A1c has come down to normal! I highly recommend Blue Sky MD.

Each appt is prompt, doctors are personable but professional addressing my questions or concerns. Treatments are tailored to my health profile and adjusted as needed based on my feedback. Highly recommend for HRT.

I utilized Blue Sky previously for weight loss. I had an excellent, successful friendly, encouraging, and compassionate experience there in the past. Weight loss is a sensitive issue that is deeply engrained with habits and emotions and deserves compassion when starting the journey. I found the front desk staff and those doing blood work to be very friendly and helpful, as well as the staff that do some initial weighing, measuring, etc. Otherwise, I had an experience lacking in kindness, consideration, patient voice, or support. A staff member scoffed when I asserted something in the plan that I didnt feel comfortable with, and asked for adjustment. I felt very much like a number they were checking off and that the service was not personalized. The rest of my appointment devolved from there with curtness and several interactions I considered rude. I would never treat my clients the way I was treated today. I left the office in tears. Do not recommend.

Literally the best doctor’s office I’ve been blessed to find. So professional, kind, and knowledgeable. They always see you right on time, and the scheduling side is impeccable . I recommend all men, from 18+ to check their hormones , just to be on the safe side . It doesn’t cost more than your health , trust me .

The staff in all areas of the practice are very kind, professional and knowledgeable. Ashley Poore is a wonderful practitioner. She takes all the time you need during your appointment and clearly explains any test results and options you might want to consider going forward. Absolutely wonderful all around!!

I absolutely Dr Susan at BlueSky. I had a bad experience with my previous provider and Dr Susan listened to all of my concerns and has nothing but compassion for me. She has made sure I am comfortable before, during and after each procedure. I have been going to Blue Sky MD for about a year and a half and have lost 50 pounds. I’m losing it slowly, which is the safest, healthiest way there is. Everyone there from the Doctors to the front staff have been fabulous. They have worked with me, adjusting meal plans, continuing weight control, encouraging me when I slipped a little. During the COVID-19’s worst, they scheduled home telephone appointments for me, as I’m vulnerable to such things. The staff is friendly, helpful, and will go out of their way to help. This is the first time since 1986, when I had a hysterectomy, that my hormone level had been drawn, and I actually receive the correct amounts of each one that I need, which makes you feel so much better. Thank you all for being there!

Dr Harris is my favorite care provider. Hormone implants have made my quality of life exceptional. Less brain fog , less pain , better sexually, and overall sense of well being . Very professional staff yet kind .This is the best thing I have done for myself !!!

Finally a doctor that would listen to me. My previous doctor did not want to increase my thyroid meds but I knew I needed more. Blue Sky did increase it and I feel much better. They are also good about returning phone calls and other follow through.

I came to Blue Sky with some weight and metabolic issues. Everyone there, from the check-in desk to the nurses and dietary consultants to the osteopaths have all been friendly, professional, and effective. They don’t waste your money or your time. I plan to continue seeing them, although less often, to sustain the progress I have made. My insurance doesn’t cover much of it, but I consider it a great investment in my health.

I Love Blue Sky. I left a practice that was condescending, rude and incompetent. At Blue Sky they work with you NOT against you….and I have witnessed first hand their receptionist excellent problem solving skills. Even if they don’t have the answers they will keep seeking to find one!❤️

I am posting on behalf of my mother. She has been a patient of BlueSky for many years however the experience over the last 3 months has been the worst I’ve ever seen.My mother has been diagnosed as borderline diabetic for several years and has been able to control it with diet. Over the last year she’s been enjoying retirement and not eating as she should so when the Dr gave her 3 months to get her A1C back on track she knew she needed to change her diet. Unfortunately while trying to get her A1C under control her Dr also decided to start changing up her blood pressure meds based on 1 high blood pressure reading at an office visit. Over the next 3 months my mom went from tilling in a garden at 70 to barely being able to walk. Two weeks on a new blood pressure med and she was nauseous and dizzy so they switched her to a different medication. One that in my opinion was very dangerous for a borderline diabetic as it causes severe dehydration which can significantly affect blood sugar. Due to what we thought were side affects she didn’t drive the entire month of July because she had horrible dizzy spells. Mid July on a Thursday they decided to run blood work and send her for a thyroid scan. The next day (Friday) I took her for scans. On Monday the office called to tell her that everything was clear on her thyroid scan. At that moment SHE questioned could it be her blood sugar. 10 mins later they called her back and said yes your sugar was high (283 w blood taken that previous Thursday when she was severely dehydrated) and immediately put her on medication for blood sugar. Her nausea and dizziness only go worse. That Friday she began having chest pain and called the office. They requested she call 911. Upon being checked by the paramedics her blood pressure (on two meds) was HIGH and her blood sugar (on meds) was 387! She was taken to the hospital where they did NUMEROUS tests. Chest X-ray, brain scan as well as an abdomen/pelvic scan. They couldn’t find anything wrong. The only thing the ER could say was that the mix of medication was causing ALL her issues. They immediately took her off the blood sugar medicine and put her back on the 2 blood pressure meds she started with. Within 2 days she was a completely different person.Now here’s where my frustration really sets in. She called that Friday and BlueSky told her to go to the ER. It’s been 2 weeks and not one follow up with their patient.She will no longer be a patient of BlueSky and it’s pretty obvious they are NOT concerned with taking care of patients. Since getting off all the medications prescribed over the last 3 months her blood pressure is normal and her blood sugars have been within normal range.

I have received nothing but the most excellent and outstanding service from the front staff to the physicians and nurse practitioners that are employed there. I have undergone both the weight loss program and the hormone replacement therapy. I wish I could receive this type of excellent care in the other professional offices I go to. My experience with the staff has been very caring and knowledgeable in their jobs. I have received excellent dietary information at each visit and all of my questions have been answered with compassion and caring no matter how many or how lengthy they may be. My health has been carefully monitored throughout this process and I feel confident they are making sure my health and safety are at the forefront of my plan. I feel and look 100% better. My blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides have normalized. I am off 4 blood pressure medications. The only negative I have experienced was in the initial billing company they worked with and they have now changed to a much better and more professional one. This was not their fault and the have rectified it. What more could anyone want? I have nothing but rave reviews for the wonderful office and all of its staff. Thanks for all they do and they should keep on keeping on! It has been a great experience!

I have been getting bio identical hormones here for years. I feel like a complete woman again. No headaches or body aches increased sexual desire. Mary is a blessing she understands you and talks to you so you understand what is going on with your hormones. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel good. I even got my husband to get his hormones checked and get his pellet as well.

I have used Blue Sky for 10 years and my provider is Mary Wall. I do not live in NC. I drive up the Saluda grade and through the horrendous road construction despite a fear of heights and poor depth perception. That says it all. Either I have horrible judgment or am more than pleased with my treatment.

I could have never accomplished this without their help. **This review is regarding the medical side of the practice, not the weight loss and hormone treatment side.**I received the LEAST compassionate, LEAST kind and friendly treatment I think Ive ever received anywhere. (and Im 72 years old). Ultimately I felt that if I ever have a medical emergency, my PA there would not have cared at all, and would have been the opposite of an advocate on my side; rather, she would have been an obstacle.

I know they have done the same thing a million times but they treat you with dignity and respect each time you go like it’s your first time and you can feel comfortable and relaxed and know they have your best interests in mind! Thank You, Sondra Huggins

They will tell you anything to get you through the door and making appointments. When I scheduled my first appointment they told me that visits are billed as a regular office visit but that if my insurance didnt cover it, the visits are $50 for each appointment and $150 for the labs, That is it billed as a regular doctors visit and I will pay a $25 co pay. So I made the appointment. They scheduled me for WEEKLY appointments in advance. It was two months later before my insurance company processed the claims and I was notified that they did not cover these visits. I was slapped with a bill for almost $800 which was hundreds of dollars more than if I had paid out of pocket. Blue sky took no responsibility for misleading me on the cost, telling me that I could pay out of pocket if my insurance company wouldnt cover it, and encouraging me to to come weekly. After advising me on the cost initially, now they say its my fault for not knowing my insurance wouldnt cover it. Its completely insane that they would charge me more for my visits BECAUSE I have insurance. The only reason I didnt self pay was because they ASSURED me that it was covered by insurance and billed as a regular office visit. Im not asking for debt forgiveness im asking them to honor what they presented to me as cost of their services. Deceitful and uncompassionate. Going forward they will switch me to self pay which could be an option except I can no longer afford to have appointments with the massive debt to pay off!

Gives one on one review to patient of blood test and explains what each one has to do with your health. They want to help you with any problem with your weight to getting you on the right food plan. They file on your insurance plan. Yes, I recommend to anyone that has a hard time loosing weight. The doctor and everyone that works there cares and is very helpful.

As always I enjoy getting ideas to help me lose weight even tho I am on a yoyo. I have no will power and thats on me. The people at Blue Sky are very supportive and keep me going forward. Dr. Brown has been super.

Blue Sky, MD is a very professional, friendly and patient oriented practice. They have an efficient office and medical staff that have helped me tremendously with all of health care needs. They discovered and treated me for issues that other physicians have missed. I highly recommend Blue Sky MD.

Incompetent and condescending. The bloodwork was a literal pain because they could not do it properly and had to stick me a handful of times in both arms (this has not been an issue for me at other doctor’s offices) **and they have replied that both of their phlebotomists were out yesterday, I guess they assume this was a same-day review, but the bloodwork was a while back, and I had it done multiple times.** They did not respect my boundaries regarding my body, and treated me like I had no say over my health choices. The RN who treated me was fine but the entire support team was so intolerable and careless that the experience was awful. If you want to feel empowered or respected I strongly discourage you from Using Blue Sky MD.

Definitely not happy with this provider! I will be changing providers! The providers I’ve seen, 3 different ones, are not educated and informed as they should be when dealing with hormones. I felt like things were not explained thoroughly, that my questions either were not answered, or were answered incorrectly. They have given me multiple answers the were incorrect!Fast forward to today.. My provider came in and went over what was supposed to be my labs.... so my T was very high and E was very low, and my TSH that I was so concerned about, looked okay... so I was supposed to be getting just and E pellet. Well, she came in and did my insertion, and when done I asked what the milligrams were, she said 125 of T and 6 of E. My face dropped and I said, “I was only supposed to get E!” She said “I went over the wrong persons labs before and when I looked at your labs while getting things together I realized it. So I place 125 of T and 6 of E” She pulled my actual labs up and was showing me, but had the TSH that I was concerned about, scrolled up out of the screen. I had to ask her to scroll up, and my TSH was even worse than my previous lab! She dismissed my concerns and walked me out to the payment desk and took her next patient without even looking at me!! Oh and then I find out the record they give you through the app are not even accurate! My app says I got a 6mg E pellet last tome but she informed me that she cut it in half an only placed 3mg so this whole time I thought I got a 6mg pellet when in fact it was 3mg! My TSH is in the toilet and I’ve never had thyroid issues! She’s not even concerned!!I will be making the necessary complaints! And changing to a much better provider! I’m going with Defy medical from now on!

I love the doctors at Blue Sky. It is frustrating that no matter when I schedule an appointment, for a doctor or the lab, I always wind up waiting at least 20 minutes to be called for the appointment. My time is is just as valuable as the person I am going to see.

Have been dieting for almost 2 years now with a total weight loss of 70 lbs went to them so that i can have help losing that last 20lbs. very helpful although they dont seem to change their system based on efforts and knowledge you have already put in. So that caused a little bit of a bump in the weight department. But I love Jen she seems to listen and understand what my goals are and is helping me work for that instead of doing the same old same old.

I am a 76 year old (now young again) woman who used to feel exhausted, not much enthusiasm for life and just worn out. I heard about Blue Sky from a neighbor, tried out their treatments and became a changed woman feeling like my old self. My life changed and I went for about 6 months not receiving my pellets. Boy did I feel the difference! After starting back I was thoroughly convinced the therapy worked. I am back on track and feeling terrific.

I came to Blue Sky MD in January of this year! I should have gone back in 2015!! I was a mess! I was gaining weight, moody, had virtually no sex drive, was tired all the time due to lack of sleep, and was hopeless!! I cannot begin to say how thankful I am to Blue Sky MD! The Pellet therapy I have been on has been a life-saver! I was also diagnosed with an inefficient Thyroid gland and have been placed on Thyroid medicine. Thank you so much for giving me my life back! Undisclosed Costs - I made an appointment with Blue Sky MD to assist me in my weight loss goals. Their website indicates that their service is covered by insurance leaving the patient with only a copay. This is not true. I am now receiving bills from a lab company for $167 for labs they drew at their office. Had I known this service could have been billed to me in full then I would not have made the appointment. As you can see their website DOES not indicate the patient can accrue more cost than their own copay.

Henriette was patient, compassionate, and expert in offering me options to help me feel my best in menopause. Between leaky gut, Hashimotos Thyroiditis, and hormone imbalance, Im not the easiest patient; yet she asked questions and offered a solution that well tweak as we go. Theres a reason they call it practicing medicine and she really has it down. I feel so very cared for. Thank you.

All of the entire Staff from the Hendersonville location to the office in Arden are simply top notch lovely people. The whole experience from Drs to Labs to the Weight-loss program Nutritionalist Coaches has been great. I sought this Practice out initially specifically seeking the best BHRT Doc & was referred to Dr. Tucker who has been known & trusted by many patients for many years. So wonderful to meet her & have the pleasure of her expertise.

I am extremely disappointed with this practice. I was a former patient with them and called to get an annual visit appointment, but because I saw another doctor since the last time I was there they refused to give me an appointment. When I inquired as to why, they told me it was a conflict of interest! I have NEVER experienced anything like this in dealing with a doctors office. People change doctors all the time. Is this part of our new cancel culture ?? I will gladly leave then!

Never on time. I always wait, 15 minutes at least, and Im always on time or early. Saw dietitian once, when I signed up. Asked to see her again half way through treatment and she was quite irritated to see me again and answer questions. People are not trained! Expected to be talking with nurses or at least dietitians concerning my dietary needs. Everyone walks around with coats and stethiscopes and they look professional but cant answer questions outside their taught formula. They get very upset if you ask them questions they cant answer or isnt part of their formula that theyre taught. The whole place is run by one doctor, one nurse, and one dietitian. The rest are not qualified in my opinion. Ive accidentally left without medication, without proper shots, without new instructions, without something because I didnt remember everything. I have to keep track of everything for them. Very unorganized and unprofessional. For the amount of people going and coming, its no wonder they cant remember everything. Very frustrated with Blue Sky. My MD says dont go there for hormone treatments---for women. They brush away concerns, even though Ive told them about pains and pressures in uterus. Am concerned, please research and ask around before taking hormones at this place.

Dr Brown is exceptional from her bedside manner to the care she provides. She listens intently and takes whatever time is needed during your appointment. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

If your testosterone levels are low, there is many benefits in finding ways to bring your levels up. I had tried many ways to raise my levels, but nothing worked for me until I got the pellets. I trust the people at Blue Sky MD to keep my levels where they should be for my age. I would give them 6 stars if I could. Roy Lawing

On my initial visit to see Vanessa Mugica in Feb. 2020, she and her assistant assured me my prescriptions would be sent to pharmacy I used. On my way out, I even stopped to clarify with assistant. I go to pick up prescriptions and they were not sent over. I had to call and inquire and wait for someone to return my call to discuss it again.After my second visit, my insurance company was billed for a procedure I did not request or have. I had to call insurance company and doctors office.Last spring, I discussed change in dosage in a prescription with Ms. Mugica as I only take a higher dosage in the winter months. She said she would make adjustment. I pick up prescription, and it had not been changed. No one from Blue Sky called to inform me. I just let it go and just took the lesser amount. Ms. Mugica told me earlier this week, on 3/22/21, that her assistant told her last May that Medicare would not cover change in dosages, and the pharmacy should have told me that. Pursuant to that conversation, I contacted Medicare Advantage customer service and was told they do pay for changes in dosages.I do not have a Medicare Advantage plan as I moved out of coverage area. I had an appointment with Ms. Mugica on 2/18/21. She or her assistant sent prescriptions in to my regular pharmacy as at that time I was not aware my coverage had been terminated. The cost was over $900 for 90 days, which I could not afford. I found my three prescriptions on the generic list at Walmart pharmacy for $4 mo. or $10 for 90 days. I had to have a telemed appointment on 3/22/21 to change dosage on the one and change all to Walmart. Nurse or assistant told me I had to have telemed appointment since I had not seen Ms. Mugica since last May. I corrected her that I had had an appointment with Ms. Mugica in Feb., about a month ago. They could not handle it with a phone call. I told Ms. Mugica the aforementioned, and the last thing she said was they would send all three prescriptions, including corrected dosage on the one, to Walmart. I would have been surprised if Walmart had all three and prescriptions had been sent correctly. I was not surprised as they only sent one to Walmart and the other two to my previous pharmacy. I am frustrated. I was clear in my communication, and I heard what Ms. Mugica said. If you have it taped, check it. It seems fairly simple. I dont know where the problems lie, but how hard can it be?!

In my 12th week of a 13 week program. Already reached my weight goal 2 weeks early. The accountability, guidance and supervision of Blue Sky has been critical to my success to date. I still have a long way to go to reach a healthy BMI, and upon completing this 13 week program, I enter a second longer one with Blue Sky stretching into June 2018. But whereas before I was not optimistic of success ... having tried and failed at weight loss before ... I am beginning to believe! Now cautiously optimistic. Very encouraging!

The option of a ‘telehealth’ call as opposed to actually going into the office was optimal... time saved in terms of not missing work... and not going into a doctor office where there is potential for so many germs.Was happy with being able to show the doctor what was going on and him being able to address the situation and come up with a resolution. Extremely happy for the technology of telehealth!!

I have to disagree with the other reviewers. My experience there has been fantastic!I am not using them for the weight loss part however. I am having laser treatments .Bri is my esthetician and I think shes fabulous. I have gotten two treatments ofExeliss (a laser for skin tightening and wrinkle reduction) and also bought their Retinathat they have made for them at a compounding pharmacy. The quality of their product is much better than the one I was previously using and my results have been better too. Bri is always on time,takes her time and does a great job. My results with just two treatments are dramatic.The lines around my lips have lessoned considerably and my skin looks amazing.I cant wait to go back and get my third treatment. I have had laser done in Atlanta andin Spartanburg and this is the best Ive had. Definitely recommend them.

Very pleased after several visits. I appreciate all the tests they do to get a great baseline medically. They really do try to help you all they can and answer any questions and try to help you succeed in weight loss.

Sounded good, were very happy to take my money. No follow up whatsoever and a lot of what was said sounded ok, but makes no sense with no follow up. I am now trying to find out when I did hormone implant so I can start over someplace else, probably somewhere that offers more options, communication, and follow up. I feel like a fool for trusting this place with something this important. If I knew that no one would follow up on anything, I never would have started with them. Maybe running a real medical practice and a wieght loss, hormone and aethestics service is just way too much for one person to handle. I’m writing this review because I would have loved to be able to access this information before I did anything on the basis that I couldn’t find anything negative about them. Now I see another review with a similiar problem. I am not saying that the doctor is not qualified, only that clearly this office can’t handle the traffic or doesn’t take what they do very seriously. Either way, unless you are prepared to keep track of everything yourself this is probably not a good choice.

The care and customer service is great but the billing is horrible. They don’t sent bills out and they let them add up, then when you go for your next visit you have a big payment that’s due and you don’t know it’s for
