Great experience! Came in with a deep cut on my hand and needed stitches. The nurse and doctor was very professional and made this scary experience less painful. I was a nervous wreck but they talked through each step and provided a lot of reassurance. Thank you both so much! I’ll definitely recommend. Fast and accurate service.

Reese and Ari (I hope I spelled their names right) are simply wonderful.This is the first time in 43 years that I actually enjoyed a visit to the Doctors to get a shot!Very professional, very attentive, very informative.I commend the clinic for having these fine women in their staff.

Called before I came and once I got there, the lady at the front desk was very nice. She did apologize because it was wait due to it only being one person that was assistance with the patients. Overall the lady at the front desk did her job and provided excellent communication and customer service. I came there for ear infection which also known as a swimmer’s ear. The doctor who I seen, was very informative of why that ear infection occurred and provided me with prescription medication to use so I can feel better. I will definitely return to facility again. My little lady wasn’t feeling too great. Everyone on staff was amazingly helpful. And Margarita made sure she left feeling like a princess!She was even so kind to my son as well (who’s older and wasn’t ill, just there to accompany us).Phenomenal experience and I’d absolutely come out to this location again over any other.

Upon my arrival, there was no one in the waiting room. That was a good start. I was treated so well by the receptionist, she was friendly, professional, and engaged. The medical assistant was great, efficient, and comforting. The doctor had a great bedside manner and displayed compassion and concern, not to mention, Im completely healed. Thank you

Recently myself and 3 kids went to this urgent care. I was hesitant to go here, because its fairly new, but close to my house. Glad I did. The staff was very nice and patient with myself and kids. We were in and out. After we were done they gave my kids goodie bags. Which they loved.

Always fantastic to go to. I go there for vitamin b shots. There could be 20.People in the waiting room.They will have me in and out within five minutes. If im just getting a shot.Otherwise I will have to wait like others But they do move quickly.Also, youll never see it Really backed up. backed up.Theyre very good at taking care Of their patience in a timely matter.The doctors and nurses At every location Ive been to which is about 5 I think so far.always been Very nice and caring and there to listen.Try going one time if you need to have something done.That is not a severe emergency. You will save a lot of coming also.

My visit to Midwest Express Clinic was very pleasant. I was made to feel welcome and comfortable from the staff greeting me, the nurse who gathered my history and took my vitals to Nicki the Nurse Practitioner. This has become my go to place for family illnesses/urgent care needs. The wait is usually very minimal (aside from sometimes during flu season), the waiting area and examination rooms are always very clean, and the staff is kind and helpful. Before this clinic opened, illness/urgent care visits for my family used to stressful, chaotic, and involve hours and hours of waiting. I definitely recommend this Midwest Express Clinic!

Our visit Midwest Express Clinic was very pleasant. They saw me immediately! The Doctor was very empathetic and knew exactly what she was doing! Will definitely be taking my entire family there for emergencies from now on.

I took my child here for a school physical it was fast and convienvant and only $30. Everyone was kind and courteous from the front desk to the nurses taking your vitals to the nurse practioner examinig you.

I had to get my DOT physical and had a great great experience!!! The staff were professional and efficient. My wait time was not long at all so that’s always a plus. Thank you!

The staff were pleasant and helpful especially considering I was feeling quite horrible. I was taken care of quickly so that I could get back to resting. Thank you all.

Clinic and staff were nice, but never go there because they do not refund your money back to you. I paid a bill and a they provided the wrong account number to me so I paid someone else’s bill. My son had been there prior to that visit and they charged the card I had originally had on file. I called several times to try to get a refund for bill I originally paid and they stated it was sent up for review and it’ll take 7-10 business days, now it’s been over 3 weeks and I have not received a refund.

The Employees are so polite. The Dr. Listens to my reasons why Im there and the problem iam facing. Dr.is very professional and really helps her patients,she genuinely cares for her patients. She takes her time listening to what is going on with you. I dont feel rushed. I LOVE THAT.

It is ridiculous that you cant get doctor appointments for six months. That is why this place is perfect for non life threatening illness. They also do physicals, shots, etc. Fast, friendly & thorough from beginning to end. Highly recommend.

From the moment I walked in the service was stellar. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and my prescription sent to my pharmacy. Cost of visit was $120 without insurance but it’s definitely weighed out by the days of work missed. Thank you so much for your speedy care.

I left the Urgent care feeling worse than when I came in. Dr.Chube walked in and the first thing he said to me was Sir we cant keep doing this, I cant keep being your band aide guy I was there for a mental health issue, and have been there in the past for other underlying medical conditions I suffer with. While he proceeded out the door, he said, Why do you always come towards the end of the night? I have other patients to see. I work night shift, but I shouldnt have to explain myself. Especially if im still coming within their business hours. I paid a 60 dollar co pay to feel unwelcomed, unheard, disrespected, and so many other feelings. This visit doesnt even deserve the 1 star. It would be a 0 star.

Had a non life threatening medical condition that required medical treatment on a Sunday morning. Midwest Express Clinic saw me within minutes. The medical staff was very professional. I thank you for your attention to details.

The team of Ari, Lafonda and Dr. Danielle are awesome! Visited the clinic on 5th Ave in Hammond IN. and they were all very professional, friendly, informative, and patient. Dr. Danielle explained the wrapping procedure to my grandson before she wrapped his finger. She also explained to me the care instructions. Ari took his vitals and was conversational which made my grandson’s visit and mine relaxing. Lafonda (front desk) was very nice, friendly and informative, also. They’re much appreciated. Great experience.

Very caring people. Was impressed with the facility. Went their for a injured knee. Didnt want to go to hospital for 5 or 6 hours. Didnt wait long at all .

Registered all my information online Wednesday. Thursday was able to walk in and see the dr with no wait. The staff was wonderful and the dr cared, and helped me immensely. I feel like a human again!

While I appreciate the friendliness of the staff here, they are insanely slow with getting any test results. I have never experienced this in my life. They also do not have a generator and lose power often. What kind of medical facility doesnt have a generator?

Having a young one has brought us in quite often. The staff and doctors have always been so nice and helpful when we come in. We are always in and out with their efficient and above and beyond care. I cant say that I enjoy having to come because obviously that means something is wrong, however, knowing we will be well attended to makes the experience pleasant each time.

We had great service on our visit here 6/8/23, about 4pm. The medical assistants were very kind and patient with my daughter, that had a really hard time with swabbing for a test. The young lady was super understanding and helped her relax long enough to get what was needed, and that doesnt always happen at other places. I appreciated her kindness very much! The practioner that examined my daughter was also very kind and patient and answered all of our questions. We were in and out quickly. Thank you so much for going above and beyond!

Provider seen me and stated if the med prescribed arent helping to call the next day and shell send in something else, well thats exactly what I did and the facility stated my provider is not in today and I have to be seen again, worst customer service ever. Just look at my previous days file and call in the new med without charging me 2xs. Seems ridiculous, instead of actually caring about the patients healing.

Dr. Chubb was an outstanding caretaker. He explained the possible outcomes of my tests and how to proceed afterwards. Such a knowledgeable, kind, patient, and empathetic human being. If he had his own practice, he would be my primary. The clinic is as sterile and cleaned as it can be. Their staff are welcoming and professional 100% recommend Midwest Express, Hammond location.

My experience was great, from the moment I walk in your establishment I was greeted with a smile from security, receptionist was pleasant, the nurses aid was great and entertaining, but my doctor was helpful, she listen and didnt take long to see me and was very helpful and enjoyable!

This clinic on 5th, in Hammond, IN. Has a really nice staff. They are helpful and polite. The wait time is short. All around a great experience.

This facility is very clean. The staff is friendly and professional. My wait time was only about 15 minutes for a nurse and another 5 minutes for the doctor. I was very sick, so I appreciated not having to wait for a long time. I highly recommend this clinic for your urgent care needs!

My husband was not feeling well. We were hesitant to go to the emergency room because they always take forever. We went to Midwest Express and the service was amazing. We only waited around 20 minutes to get in. The receptionist treated us super friendly, and the nurse and the doctor very attentive and professional. We would definitely use your services again if we needed them.

My daughter and I went on Friday for testing and had a professional, positive experience. Took my son on Saturday and Dr Thomas was top tier. Because it was Saturday I wasnt sure how everything would go but he was thorough and patient. Answered my questions and wasnt rushed. Ive heard of situations where people go to clinics and have a horrible experience. Our experience was the best. I would recommend this location to anyone seeking after hours care. Pleasant staff who got me in and out. One mentioned is my prescription was sent to wrong pharmacy (could have been my bad handwriting) but Walgreens stated it has happened before. The situation was corrected by staff right away and I was able to get my medication.

Walked in at 7:59pm and they took my son (as a new patient) right in! I know how much of a pain it can be to register someone new, etc. But the staff was AMAZING!!!! Didn’t catch their names but they were awesome.

The staff and service was exceptional. The provider Bailey was wonderful. I had a really great experience and would go there again if the need arises. I highly recommend this clinic!

Always a great experience here. They Margarite and Dr. Choube are the nicest ever. They are number 1! So is Lafonda but I’ve been in on her off days but she is also the best! Sorry if the names are misspelled.

This is the place to come to if your not feeling well. I always feel welcomed and treated with respect. little to no Waiting.No waiting weeks for a Doctors appointment like at the local Doctors office.

Visited this location last night and it went as smooth as can be despite my 4-year-old having to be tested for RSV, flu, COVID and strep 😬 thanks to Arie she was able to ease my daughter’s fear and do so successfully! We were in and out (not to mention with plenty stickers and goodies) 😊

Loved how clean they were and how professional the doctor took care of my baby. She was amazing, she was so patient and took her time to make sure he wasn’t uncomfortable while she checked his ears, nose and mouth. The only person that did made me feel uncomfortable tho was the front desk lady im not sure if maybe because her vibe was off. Or it could’ve been me who knows. But other than that it was great! The doctor and the the nurse were amazing!!! Not to mention the pretty cool stickers and lollipops the doctor gave my baby. I’m definitely going back!!

My first time to a Midwest clinic was fantastic. It was extremely quick and easy and the staff was great. Fonda was a joy to be around and Danielle, the PA, was very knowledgeable and authentic. I believe in people over anything else and for that reason alone I would highly recommend coming to this location. Well done staff!

My daughter was sick with a fever and her ears and throat were hurting. Went to the Midwest express clinic and to start the receptionist was super nice and helpful! She checked us in and I want to say we waited in the waiting room maybe 20 minutes and got called in. The nurse took my daughters vitals and was patient and made sure to ask for details of how she felt. Wasn’t rushing to move to the next person. Which I appreciated. She tested her for flu, strep and Covid. We went straight to the room and waited for results. The doctor came in with the negative results and told her she had double ear infection. She prescribed medication and we were out. It was about an hour and a half total visit and it was great. I appreciate everyone at this location. Very nice and professional. I will definitely be returning if needed. I spent 8 hours at an ER last time and everyone was rude and I wanted to walk out. This was a great experience

My experience at MEC was awesome, my son checked me in when got there the wait was not long at all.I was seen in a timely manner. We did have to go to another MEC location for Xrays ,we were right in and out.Awesome service throughout from the receptionist to the doctor.

The facility was very clean, the wait time was short. The receptionist worked to make sure I didn’t have to pay a copay. The nurse practitioner was very knowledgeable and put my mind at ease. She showed that she was interested in making me comfortable. I would definitely come again.

Clean facility. Staff are thorough and attentive to your needs and concerns. Typically theres hardly any wait time when I come. Brought the entire family due to how fast and reliable service has been here. Way faster than any other urgent care facilities!

I have brought my children here on 2 occasions and both were asthma related and the facility was clean, clutter free, staff was friendly and efficient. The Nurse Practitioners were informative and took excellent care of my children. I think it is a God send in this area to have an urgent care that is so close to serve a community that doesnt have much available in the way of urgent care and our Emergency departments can get cluttered. This is an excellent facility.

Always an outstanding experience at Hammond 5th Ave location. Everyone is so kind, caring and friendly. Not sure how to spell their names but Lafonda at the front desk (also a nurse I think since she took care of me once) is the nicest girl ever! But any nurse that I have when I go on Sat or Sunday have been nothing but kind and sweet. That are all great! I love when I arrive and I see that Lafonda is working! then we can chat and she gives me great tips! If I have to see a dr or if my mom has too, we’ve been lucky enough to go when Dr Chube is working! He takes his time, listens and gives advice and goes over all your results in detail so that you the patient can. He does not rush you at all and makes sure that all your questions are answered before you leave. He is hands down an exceptional doctor!!!!

Very nice staff overall. 10/10 recommend, they play good music in the back when you go in the room. The wait wasn’t long either. They called my name in like 15 mins and 3 people were ahead of me. They work fast and diligently to get you in and out right away. Very clean, and calm environment. Filling out paperwork was fast and easy.

The staff is always very professional and helpful. I was able to get in and get my concerns addressed and get out. Way better than going to the ER and sitting half of the day waiting to be seen.

Stopped by after work around 4 pm on a Wednesday. Walked in, registered, and was seen in less than 10 minutes. The nurse practitioner was professional, very knowledgeable, and friendly. She performed the exam and gave me a thorough diagnosis, prescribed some medication, and was very thorough in explaining how the medicine worked and the possible (but rare) side effects. 5 out of 5. We are from out of town but was seen quickly for our 5 year old daughter who has strep. They treated her like a queen… literally… she was anxious and upset but they gave her all the goodies and treated her with kindness. She was so excited to tell the rest of the family when she got home haha. They had great staff and quick service!

Midwest Express Clinic at North Hammond, Ind. Is the absolute Best Clinic around the South East side of Chicago, Great Healthcare & Doctors that really Care & do a magnificent job, I wouldn’t ever go near a emergency room again if I can help it. You can check in online with your ID and medical insurance. And you probably will be out within a hour at least I was. I give them 5 Stars plus…… Chas Miggins

Frankly i am tired of calling my PCP for medical help and being told to wait for an appt weeks away, or go to ER. I did go to ER once this year and sat 9 HOURS before getting help. Twice now i have gone to Midwest Express with medical needs. First time i got to a dr in 5 minutes! 5 minutes!! Second time with waiting room packed i got to a dr in 45 minutes. Unbelievable. Professional, courteous, and got me in and out with needed meds sent to my pharmacy. This is the new paradigm for medical help today.

The staff here was really nice and friendly! I felt really comfortable there, they answered all my questions. They got me in and out in a timely manner. Will definitely be coming back to here if needed.

Went in for a B12 injection. Margarita was very pleasant and administered the shot carefully. She made sure the alcohol had dried before she gave me the shot and also made sure the bleeding stopped. I was in and out quickly. Thank you!

First time visiting an urgent care center and I was very impressed and felt comfortable with the staff, nurse and doctor. Treated me with care and gave me a follow up appointment. Will definitely be back when I need it. Highly recommend it to families.

My 1st time at this location and it went well. On-line check in was smooth and only waited maybe 15 mins when I arrived. The dr was nice and not rushed, overall good experience.My 1 tip is to sit in your car until its your turn, if there are a lot of people. The waiting room is kind of small and there were a couple of people coughing when I went. The last thing you want is to catch something else.

I visited twice to have stitches removed. The first time I went in, I stopped by during my lunch break. I reserved a spot online but ended up having some difficulties with the site but not a big deal. Reserving a spot was supposed to cut down on my wait time; however, there was only one doctor on hand when I arrived so it was still a long wait. I usually expect long wait times at urgent cares so again, not a big deal to me. The staff was all really friendly and apologized for the wait. Another doctor arrived ands came in to take a look. She suggested that I wait a few more days to have the stitches removed. They had only been in for 7 days and I had to keep them in for 7-10. She walked me out and got me set up with an appointment for a few days out. The appointment was setup for 8am when the clinic opened. I was the first to check-in and the first to be brought to a room. The staff was very friendly again and the doctor took excellent care of me taking out the stitches. Im only visiting the area so itll be unlikely that Ill be back but if I am in the area again and need an urgent care, Ill definetly be going here.

Gone many times and have had great experience with staff except this last time. Dr. Lynn T. Schuetz is the most unprofessional provider I have ever experienced. She was rude and ignorant for absolutely no reason. She made my experience at this location the worse ever. The clinic manager and MA on duty were absolutely amazing. As long you don’t see this specific provider I would recommend this location.

I will be coming back whenever I am not feeling well. There was no long wait period and the practitioner was very comforting. She was interested im my well being and made me feel that she cared that I feel better. Plus what she prescribed, it worked. Within a day, I was feeling better.

Had to visit an in network provider while traveling for work. Expedient service, professional staff, great doctor, very clean facilities! It was like the best experience I have ever had at an urgent care.

I will always use Midwest Express Clinic. My Husband and I have used this Clinic recently. The Clinic is clean and inviting. The staff is friendly, courteous and professional. I love the Doctors, they all have an excellent bedside manner they make you feel comfortable and they are very thorough, knowledgeable and down to earth with your care.

The office was clean the workers were nice and friendly. The service was fast I even got a referral to get an x-ray the next day.

I am very fortunate to have this location open now as it’s very close to my home. I want to start by saying my NP (can’t remember her name) was very kind and compassionate. I appreciated her a lot. However, one of the front desk employees was borderline rude. Didn’t take the time to hear me out fully about why I was there but was quick to say I owed $200 before I could be seen. This was said full volume, and while there weren’t many others there, it felt tactless.Additionally, there was some misunderstanding when it came to my prescription. The front desk employee let me know that it was called in. I went to my pharmacy the next day and they had nothing from the clinic. I had to call the clinic twice only to be told that The medicine was actually over the counter instead of covered by my insurance. This didn’t waste a lot of time, but I was frustrated that I had to call two separate people to get a straight answer.All in all I’ll probably just continue going to the Munster location as I’ve never encountered these particular issues there.

Great experience and service even though I wasn’t feeling well. Thankful that this place was close by and accepted my insurance too.

Long story short, I literally ran in the clinic because my son was having a asthma attack. I said someone please help and they grabbed my son without even saying a word took him to the back and started working on my son right away. I could never thank them enough. There isn’t enough stars to rate them or even words to explain how thankful I am for the staff that was on that day. So if you’re wondering if I recommend them? 1 million percent!

From the time I walked in the door I was greeted immediately , checked on consistently and listened to intently. The front desk assistant, triage nurse and doctor were beyond exceptional!

Showed up in extreme pain. They got me in, treated me and sent me home in under an hour. Excellent service and care. They truly make you feel better just by speaking to you calmly and figuring out the problem. Would definitely go there again if I needed immediate care.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Ive been to the other Hammond location and loved it. But this one, I will never come to again. We brought in our 3 year old daughter because she had a fever and couldnt keep medicine down. Long story short, they had her waiting there for 2 hrs while she was vomiting and running a fever to just say we cant do anything for her, take her to the ER if she cant hold liquids down. A THREE YEAR OLD FOR TWO HOURS TO JUST TELL US THAT. Ridiculous. No tamiflu, nothing for the nausea. Never coming here again. Definitely do not bring your children here. Oh, they did give her some lollipops and stickers 🙄🙄🙄 and no, I do not want a generic Im so sorry about your visit. DO BETTER. I understand being busy, but if theres a child with a fever that you cant do much for, say so instead of keeping them there for two hours. Completely disgusted by this.

Service was great. They did what my regular doctor office would do. They examined me. The wait time was not long. They sent my prescription to be filled. I was out. Just taking it easy and following the doctors advice.

Short wait time. Dr. Was very helpful in giving me ideas for the pain. Rx for Antibiotics were sent to pharmacy immediately. Great experience.

It was my first time ever going to a minute clinic. But the doctor and the staff were great. The doctor reassured me that everything would be fine and it was.

I had an issue with my hip. Pain was so bad I used icy hot. It burned me to the second degree. First place said I had shingles. Facepalm. Turns out it was hip bursitis. They relieved my pain. I am definitely going back
