AFC Urgent Care Hallandale Beach

I recently had a medical appointment, and I was attended by Clarete, Alicia, and Eva. I would like to provide some detailed feedback about the care I received. First of all, it was very easy to schedule the appointment, as there were plenty of available time slots to choose from. When I arrived at the clinic, I was attended to immediately, and I waited less than 10 minutes in the waiting room before being seen.The process was incredibly efficient. Initially, my vital signs were taken, and I was asked detailed questions about my medical history, including any medications I am currently taking and any illnesses I might have. After this initial evaluation, I was seen by another professional who provided further care. To my surprise, I was able to have an X-ray done on the spot, right there in the clinic, and they also requested some complementary studies for a thorough evaluation.Throughout the entire process, everyone was extremely kind, attentive, and professional. It was an incredibly smooth and effective experience from start to finish. Everything was perfect. Because of this, I know that whenever I have any health concerns or issues in the future, I will always return to this same place. I will also highly recommend it to all my family, friends, and coworkers.

Fantastic place that was my first time I meet fantastic people. I like them very much. They treat you with so much decency and they are very professional that mean I will go back there when I need anything. The good part takes so many insurance so you’re welcome to come there you’re not gonna be disappointed.

I am in town for vacation, so of course a visit to the urgent care is never ideal. However, the team at AFC made it seamless. The process was very quick and each team member was very helpful and friendly. The doctor made sure to answer all of my questions and concerns. I was in and out in less than an hour to go back and enjoy what I had left of my vacation with my mind at ease!

Great doctor and receptionist ! - waiting time is 1 hour so take into account if walkin. Best way to do it - sign up / check in ahead of time via website and then schedule appointment.They also take care of toddlers’ health problems.If Russian speaking, ask for doctor Julia

Excellent care for my 3 year old. We were in and out within 35 minutes. Doctor and staff were very nice and knowledgeable. Great option for an urgent care in the area!

Amazing urgent care! I highly recommend it. The location is convenient and pricing is lower than other urgent cares I have visited. The place was clean and seemed brand new. The staff was knowledgeable, caring, and helpful. My little son and I felt comfortable with the doctors and nurses who were friendly and took the time to clearly explain the procedures, results, and treatment. My son who is afraid of doctors left feeling better, with a big smile for all the stickers the nurse gave him. For me that was priceless! Thanks to Dr. Alicia, Nurse Eva, and the rest of the staff for such a great urgent care experience!

On vacation and dreaded to have to go in but did and it was actually the fastest and easiest visit Ive ever had to make to urgent care, even at home. All were very friendly and attentive. They sent in my Rx to next door and I was on my way... back to having fun on my vacation.Thank you guys for all your help today. I really do appreciate it.

The front office staff, technician, and nurse practitioner were all stellar. Check in was seamless. Everyone was polite, helpful, and even apologetic about the wait time, which was understandable given it was the night before Thanksgiving day. I highly recommend this site. I fell taken care of.

The check in process could have been smoother. I was doing it digitally and through the provided check in station so it got a little confusing. But the nurses and doc were fantastic and helped my little guy feel so much better.

Fabiola provided a great customer service and NP Alicia was so knowledgeable and kind explain the whole procedure so well. The nurse or tech did the same. Over all my husband had a great experienceThank you 🙏 so much for the great service

Love this place they have ways to create an appointment to reduce wait time they always have different times available they provide excellent patient care. Dr. Alicia and the nurse Leo are such a great team they tackle everything quickly and efficiently. Best Urgent Care in the entire area.

**Update**How do you reach someone here? I have called for a few days and never get a call back. Can someone call me or email me?I was a walk-in as I was at the store next door. Only 2 people in front of me and was told 20 mins. Was impressed that it would be so fast so I stayed. 20 mins turned into 2.5 hrs. Although they were all nice, I specifically said what I needed and my issues only to have everything done and told, what I really need is an MRI. Still havent received the documents was told I would get from Xray. I may use them again for convince but not 100% if other providers are available.

I was there last week. She prescribed me medication and it was OK. That was Stephanie.I went back today for the same reason and she prescribed one of the three medications that I received the Last time. The gentleman nurse was very nice, but I found that the nurse lacked empathy and bedside manners.

Clean, fast, and effective urgent care. Staff and providers are very nice and professional. I specifically had a wonderful experience with Renee Waugh NP there the two times I’ve had to go. Highly recommend this location and provider.

I went to AFC Hallandale Beach today because I wasn’t feeling well. I was able to make an appointment online and in no time I was being seen. Everyone from the receptionist to the provider was super welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Also the facility was very clean. I would definitely recommend AFC to anyone that needs health care. Thank you AFC for helping me feel better!

Went there in May because my daughter was sick and we had to cancel our cruise. Doctor was good and accommodating. Everything else was bad. Front desk was rude and short. Whether it was on the phone or in person, consistently rude. When I asked to have the doctor fill out a form to recoup the cruise insurance, I was told it would cost $50 then informed the Doctor would do it free of cost if I left a good review.Then 2 months later, they removed $100 from my account. Didn’t call or bill me. Just removed $100. Didn’t send claim to insurance. And after they WERE paid, still refused refund me. After two months of “we will refund you in 1-2 weeks” and consistent calls to my insurance, we were able to get my money. Horrible experience from all involved other than Doctors. No apologies. No sense of urgency. Just unhelpful people. I’m not going there again.

I went in with a sore finger and left feeling like a brand-new person! The staff was amazing—no fingers were chopped off in the process, just excellent care all around. 10/10 would trust them to take care of all my digits again!

Ive just visited AFC Urgent Care in Hallandale Beach this past week because I wasnt feeling well. I want to give props to my nurse Alicia Jimenez and the whole team at AFC Urgent for taking care of me in a timely manner. I do not like going to hospitals (or urgent cares) unless I have to but they made me feel comfortable with their professionalism and attention. Thank you again you guys.

Brought my mom who was a Memorial Urgent Cate on Sheridan Street here because the doctor there didn’t know what he was talking about and she wasn’t getting better. NP Donna was through and did an amazing job figuring out what was really wrong with her. I highly recommend

I visited recently and have never felt so well attended in an Urgent care before. Alicia took great care of me, she made sure I was comfortable & was efficient not like other places that take forever to get to you. I’ll definitely be back.

Went for a pre op physical and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. My wife has very low blood pressure and tiny veins so its not unusual to need 5 sticks to get blood. The 1st worked but only a few seconds. The doctor came and got it all on 2nd try. Price was lower than 2 other places I checked

It was an excellent experience, Aris and Anibal (the managers) were super welcoming, attentive and helpful. I arrive feeling sick and bad but after the attention and well take care of the Dr and staff I leave the clinic feeling much better. This is the best facility in town. I’ve been there to do my blood work and then to do my daughter’s sports physical. There are so many options at AFC Urgent Care Hallandale Beach. The staff is super friendly and the doctor is excellent. I highly recommend this to everyone for many of your medical needs. The service is also quick and efficient.

Things went well. Nurse Eva M. wasnt very personable (lacks people skills along with some smiles along the way) and at times she were very hard to understand being she was Hispanic. She came in with a needle and didnt even explain what the shot was for - I had to say to her, What is this and what is it for? Giovanni L. young man that did my x-rays and took my blood pressure was friendly and lastly, Renee W. DNP, APRN, FNP-C was great and very polite. I like how she took her time to explain things and she wasnt in a rush because other patients were waiting. She was very thorough. Front desk clerk could have been a tab bit welcoming. I went in on Dec. 9th at 8AM. No lines and no waiting.

It was my first time there. Very rude. Favoritism for Spanish. Went at noon time. We left to go at 6:30 to see if that shift was better and it was worse. Dr. Stefanie and her nursewere great.

1st disappointment: an invitation to check in reading a QR sign. This requires to go to a web page.2nd disappointment: for that I need WiFi3rd disappointment: theres no WiFi available at this branch of AFC.4th disappointment: I received a container for a urine sample but after taking the sample theres no place where to leave this container. Quite embarrassing to walk through the waiting room with 10 people staring at the glass of urine in your hand.5th disappointment: the 15 minutes needed by the receptionist Fabiola to punch in an unending list of questions.The nurse that brought me into the consultation room was very helpful and forthcoming.The PA Cabezas that came to take care of my complaint was outstandingly nice and knowledgeable.All in all a positive AFC experience.

Everyone was very nice. Just didnt like the fact that they would speak spanish around me and Im english. But, overall the visit was outstanding.

I received exceptional care at this urgent care center. From the moment I arrived, Paola and Julian treated me warmly and professionally. I would highly recommend AFC. Their staff is caring, attentive, highly knowledgeable and invested in your care. I had a complex situation for an oversees visa which had challenging requirements. Prior to visiting AFC, my husband and I called various physicians and clinics who were unable to complete the exams or had the flexibility to do so. AFC worked with these special requirements to obtain all the necessary lab and physical work and after much testing I received my visa! Thank you AFC for your understanding and willingness to help.

It was easy to make the appointment. The clinic is clean. The service is professional and kind. I was seen right away. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

New Urgent Care facility around my neighborhood, do not know if they partner with MD Now or not but I needed X-Ray services and MD Now referred me to them.The place is clean and quiet, doctors were nice and professional, the only downside is the time you wait once inside, it took 2 hours and 45 minutes to get the X-Ray and the results. I still prefer MD Now but AFC have more technology available like X-Ray.Another choice for when your PCP is not available.

I have an appointment At 1:00 pmAnd all the paperwork was filled up earlier in the morning and my phone So I don’t have to wait as soon as I ArriveBut I’m fortunately the Walking people was taken care first and I had to wait at least 30 minutes Outside Which Was unnecessaryI talked to the lady on the front desk she told me that people with the appointment was the priority and it wasn’tSo the moment that they called my nameThey took me inside a room which I have to wait at least an hour for me to see the doctor which wants the only one in the facilityAceptable And then I have to wait Another Forty Five Minutes to get an x-ray And I was so upset that I request to be discharged and I have to wait another hour Get Discharge paperworkSo if field works I was for three hours in that facility which in the hospital No more than an hour I should be readyThis facility Customer Services Really badI don’t recommend it

Excellent service from the entire team, very good attention from Fabiola and the doctor on duty was very kind and accurate with the diagnosis.

I came to AFC urgent care because I needed immigration medical. The process was very fast, I came late Friday and next Thursday everything was ready. All tests took around 3 days to be ready. I am very happy overall with my experience with AFC urgent care

The facility has very thin walls, you can hear everything happening in the lobby area from the exam room and vice versa.The wait in the exam room was 2 hours with the PA Renee ordering unnecessary exams to of course increase the billing mileage. Extremely pathetic facility.

My family and I were here on vacation and my son decided to put a bead up his nose. The staff was so attentive and calm. They were able to remove the bead and we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation. They were great! Highly recommend!

Fabiola at the Front desk, was very helpful and professional, it was my first time and she made it so easy. The place is clean and you can use your phone (or when you arrive with the QRCODE )to make an appointment before you arrive so your wait time can be even faster. But so far only a 15 min wait so im happy!

The urgent care is the best I have ever been to in my entire life. From the beginning, Fabiola welcomed me to the place and advised me on the registration process. Then, Paula and Dr. Alicia provided exceptional care. They are the best. God bless you all.

Had the best experience with Alicia Jiménez, she was very thorough with my results and made sure that I understood and followed her regiment.

Well they did my blood work which I needed. They prescribed me a medicine for my headache that interacted with one of my other meds! So that part was bad!

After waiting for 40 minutes, the nurse called us. My daughter had a deep cut on her forehead. The nurse saw her and asked us to wait for the doctor. After 30-40 minutes the doctor came and said it was very simple: he would apply glue to the cut and place a tape. But after looking for a while, he told us they didn’t have the glue. Are you serious? This is a very basic material and is unacceptable for a urgent care no to have it. But providing this is the situation , that’s not the worse part. Couldn’t the nurse who preview my daughter, check the availability of the material before left us waiting for another 40 minutes for nothing? At this point it was late and most of the urgent cares around were about to close and we weren’t able to go to any other.UPDATE: They called my husband the following week apologizing and telling him they would cancel the charge.UPDATE: The charge was never canceled and we got the bill for the care we didn’t received. I called the clinic, they told me they would call back and never did it.

Great experience, staff and doctor was very friendly and experienced, the practice is new and very clean, no long wait times. And you can just walk in, no appointment necessary. Will definitely come back for any urgent and other medical needs in the future!

The place is very clean, pristine, and the nurses and doctors I met are very nice and caring. Blood tests and vaccines are totally pain-free. I was supposed to get medication for an issue. I had it was sent to the wrong pharmacy. I called the day. I had the appointment and twice the day after and I still haven’t gotten the prescription.

I visited this office for the first time today.Easily created an appointment, registered and I was at my appointment within an hour.I had pain in my lungs and a strong cough.They took an X-ray, did a Covid test and very quickly gave me the result and a recommendation for treatment.It is so important not to waste a lot of time on a visit when you are sick.

Wow! One of the best experiences that I have had at a clinic. Everybody was super friendly and helpful. Of course, probably my positive approach also helped as I was in a great mood when I visited, but everybody was super professional and friendly. I went here for routine tests and exams and got all results and recommendations within a few days. The team works very hard, and it’s available and convenient hours, including over the weekend. As a small business owner myself, I love supporting local businesses and I’m very happy to have visited.

I arrived with my son for x rays minutesbefore closing time (8pm). They were so kind to see him- the place I took him to right before (at 7:25pm) refused to see him even though they also close at 8.Anna the receptionist was very kind. Everyone was kind and patient. I went twice and was surprised about the personal health care I received. They call me after the test result to change my medication. Most of the time I had to call to receive the results.

Not only was the entire staff extremely nice, they all showed how much they cared about my visit.From checking in to being called to the back … just wonderful.2 days ago, at another facility, a doctor wrote me a prescription for antibiotics without even touching or listening to my body … but here, today, I got the best care I received in years.They took their time and listened to me and my body and I was not just rushed out the door.Needless to say … I won’t be stepping foot in another urgent care.Dr. Renee Waugh and her team are an absolute blessing to healthcare.

I had an excellent experience at AFC Urgent Care! The staff was extremely friendly and professional, and they took care of my four-year-old son quickly and efficiently. I was impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the facility, and the wait time was minimal. Great professional people medical care was excellent

I cant thank enough for the special, excellent care provided to my 3-year granddaughter. The child fell over and got a cut on her forehead. Yuliya Kutafina managed to make the little girl calm down and applied a couple of stitches pretty quick.I witnessed professional abilities of the staff and you can have great confidence in this emergency service. That’s for sure!

Very nice and professional staff. Everyone was very attentive and pleasant. The check in was fast and I was already in the dr office within the first 15min of my arrival. This was the second time I visited their urgent care and this is definitely my number 1 place to go for any emergencies.

After copayment and charge on my insurance they decided to hire a collection company for a 24 doll balance that calls you from india berrely speaks english to collect the debt , Ones you pay the co pay and insurance pays the balance the go after you for a 24 dollars a griddy people at ones.

I brought in my elderly mother recently, and the entire team provided an excellent service. Ana at the front desk was exceptional. Her patience with my mother was unmatched. Being able to have an Xray in the same visit was also very helpful. 10 out of 10 service.

Staff was very attentive and quickly responded to our visit. Dr. Kutafina is a very compassionate and attentive provider, very aware of the needs of her patients. I am happy that we had a great experience.

Great Place to visit for urgent care. the people are friendly and welcoming. I prefer this place over Md now because of the difference in the atmosphere.I only had an issue with pricing, i was told a different price over the phone and a new price at the clinic and i was told a different price for a vaccine and a titer after I paid. I was told to wait they needed to settle the price they think I needed to pay more. I think the pricing needs to be correct because you can’t keep telling people different prices some people won’t be ok that but other than that I really liked my visit.

This center is amazing with dedicated and friendly staff. The place is spotless, wait times are always very reasonable, and appointments are also available. My family and I have been in on numerous occasions, always with excellent results.However, what really sets them apart for me is the fact that, after many years of a chronic cough, they took the xtra step on my visit and conducted a chest x-ray which identified a nodule on my lung that ultimately turned out to be a cancerous tumor. If it were not for their diligence, I would not have had the benefit of an early diagnosis and an excellent cancer-free prognosis. Thank you AFC Urgent Care of Hallandale Beach.

I went there today with crippling back pain. The front desk staff was so kind to walk the forms out to me when they saw how kudu discomfort I was in. The provider was professional and comforting. I would highly recommend going here.

This was a great clinic. I cut opened my eyebrow, and I was scared to get stitches, but I was so lucky to come to this urgent care location and be in hands of Fabiola, Paola, Yuliya Kutafina and Eva, who did a great job, made me feel very comfortable and stitch my eyebrow up very professionally.I would recommend this clinic at 100%! I love coming here for any treatment needed. The front desk is polite and professional. They are efficient and quick. The medical assistant is thorough and attends to any and every compliant one might have. Kind, professional, following all Covid -19 protocols. Patient. Answers any questions you may have. Great communication with Nurse Practitioner. NP is super. Discusses all concerns, does all testing necessary and goes above and beyond to give the best medical care possible. I went to the other Medical Urgent Care center and the wait was 3 hours. MD now. Just awful. I was not comfortable waiting there at all. A real clinic feel. Not urgent care. I feel safe and well taken care of here. This is my second visit and both times they are deserving of a 5 star rating.

Yes, it was me who was at your facility this past Saturday, February 3rd 2024.My full name is Rodolfo Alonso and I was there at 9:00 AM. After making an appointment and specifically stating my need for XRAYS, I was scheduled for Saturday. After driving from Miami Dade South, when I got there, I was told that your clinic doesn’t do XRAYS on Saturdays. Therefore, I wasted my time….I repeat: Do NOT go to any AFC URGENT CARE CENTER. They are a disaster.They will make you waste your time and misinform you. It’s frustrating to see how careless they are.

I got hurt at work and it was surprisingly difficult to find an urgent care that would X-ray my jaw (got hit with the lift gate of a moving truck) afc did though, I came in and was seen quickly the nurse that took care of me Karina, was awesome, really cared and helped me feel at ease, relayed everything to the Dr. The Dr’s were great, literally the whole staff. It didn’t feel like they were just trying to get me out as quick as possible which was a relief. Since I was worried I fractured my jaw and had potential hearing damage not to mention it was a workers comp claim. I was fully not prepared with all my workers comp papers but they were patient and really worked with me to make sure everything was taken care of properly. A great urgent care. Super caring and professional.

A quick google search led me to this amazing place super close to me. Amazing attention and fast service. Everyone was super helpful especially since it was my first time here. Such a great experience at AFC today. Karina so super professional, friendly and a pleasure to encounter. The waiting room is clean and bright. Would certainly come back for a Covid test. I received the $95 rapid Antigen test for travel with results in 30 minutes .

My husband and I had to get a quick last minute PCR test before our cruise, although it was basically our problem that we didn’t make sure everything was done right, the staffs were still so polite and understanding. We were so close to not making it to the gates if it wasn’t for the two wonderful ladies who helped us check in and get tested quickly. While vacationing in the area, I had a menstrual device that I could not remove on my own for more than a day. Everyone was great from the front desk with Anastasia; to nurse Karina; and the provider Alecia. (Note: I dont know if I am correct with the spellings of names.) I was very grateful to be able to avoid the emergency room to have the disc retrieved. One suggestion I would make is be sure long nails are not permitted. I saw one staff member with very long (perhaps false) nails visibly poking almost through the “latex” gloves she was wearing at one point. It did not affect my care though!

Fell at home. Thought I broke my elbow. Showed up here. No appointment is necessary, I was seen immediately by receptionist who took my information and within a very short period maybe 20 minutes I was brought into an exam room where I was seen by a nurse and then a doctor I had multiple x-rays taken and given a referral for a follow up with an orthopedic.Very professional, friendly, caring people in all departments.I highly recommend.

I was told at check in that the $100 I was paying would cover the visit and any shots/tests. Next I get a bill for $450. I have never seen a urgent care bill that high. They never got a patient/family history, they never contacted me/explained my test results to me, and the nurse had to show the doctor how to give me a shot. Overall a very useless and odd situation. Save yourself money and time and don’t visit this scam of a clinic.

Today i visited AFC Urgent care in Hallandale Beach and was seen by doctor Yuliya Kutafina. She was great! Very attentive, explained to me exactly what was wrong with my ear, she was very clear in explaining and helped me out a lot, i left feeling so much better!!!

I have never seen a person so abrupt and so insensitive as Paola at the front desk, a very cheap place I had forgotten my mask and I entered covering myself with my coat, I asked her for a mask and she told me why? if I I was going to see the doctor with a very bad attitude, I was waiting in line for more than 15 minutes and she never called me, people who werent on the line and even that they were behind me she called them ahead of me, I had a appointment at 12:30 and I had all my registration paper already online, a very unpleasant place to visit even more when you do not feel well. MD emergency room has better service and faster !!!

Best urgent care Ive ever been to and from now on the only one I will go to. The staff was amazing, friendly and caring.Dr. Da Silva was extremely thorough and made me feel like she actually cared which you dont normally find at urgent care facilities.The nurse, Mirian, was wonderful and caring as well. Made me feel like she knew me personally.Last but definitely not least, Leinor was amazing. His sense of humor and easy going personality made me feel so at ease. Nicest staff I’ve ever experienced! I’m from out of state, in Florida for a vacation and I woke up yesterday not feeling well from an illness I’ve had my whole life that affects me every few months. This place was so helpful and took me in right away even though I was from a different state, and I already feel so much better! So thankful that they saved my vacation!

Amazing team! Anastasia was fantastic and speaks Russian and Ukrainian. Our party of 6 went to another urgent care that could not help us because of not speaking Russian, and they sent us here specifically to Anastasia! She was super helpful. If you only speak Russian or Ukrainian, go straight to this clinic!

I had the best experience at this location when it came to taking my COVID test. The front desk receptionist was very nice and polite! When it came to taking the actual test it was administered the most professional I have ever done. I had my temperature & oxygen measured and wasnt allowed to leave the room until my results were processed. Overall the staff was fantastic and i will only com here for all future COVID tests for me and my family!!!

We arrived 20 minutes before closing and Dr. Yulia and the team were so professional and kind that they stayed open for another hour in order to properly treat me. I can’t say enough positive things about the AFC team, including Anastasiya, Denia, Leinor, and of course Dr. Yulia. Amazing service. 5 stars all around.

There’s a reason why they have almost 5 stars. They all have a beautiful light within through what at times can be a dark moment (you or a loved one not feeling well). The staff was so genuinely sweet to my son. They brought him balloons and stickers while we waited to see the DR. Hopefully we never have to go back, but in the event, it will be here. Dr.Yulia is a competent specialist, she ordered me a complete examination and found something that other doctors could not identify! I went for a Covid-19 test and the fear I had was overcome by the amazing individual who performed the test. She (didn’t get her name) provided me knowledge about the importance of getting the vaccine in a nice and caring way. Not pushy or rude like some other places. The wait time was not long. It became pretty busy out of no where during the afternoon, however I was in and out in probably an hour or less without an appointment. Place was very clean, receptionist were nice. Thank you AFC Urgent Care!
