I have been Dr. Cowen’s patient for 42 years. During ALL of those years, both he and his staff has treated me with care that has been exemplary!They provide the highest level of personalized care and service; rarely found in today’s world! I cannot say enough great things about this office! They are simply wonderful!

Office staff was kind and accommodating to get me in quickly when I was having an issue. Dr. Cowen was also gentle and reassuring during the visit and discussing follow-up plans. The phlebotomist there is the best, such a great personality!

My first visit to this practice was more than favorable. Dr. Cowen was attentive, patient, informative, and polite. He began my visit by asking me to tell him about myself and my history and then he genuinely listened to my reply. I will absolutely return.

Dr. Cowen has been my obgyn for many, many years. He delivered both my daughters and they are now 33 and 31. He is professional, yet caring and takes his time with me and the issues I am facing with menopause. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Cowen has been my OB/Gyn for over 30 years, and I trust him implicitly. The nurses and office staff at Comprehensive Womens Healthcare are all top-notch too.

Dr. Cowen has excellent bedside manner and was extremely gentle for my exam. This is probably the best experience with a doctor I’ve had in Texas. Front desk staff is also very warm and kind. Highly recommend!

I’m so grateful to him.1st review: What a great place: from front staff to nurses (Jennifer) to lab technician (Rhonda) to Dr. Cowen, I’m a new patience and I felt so welcomed. Dr. Cowen listened to all my worries about PCOS & Peri-menopausal concerns, went over different treatments and pros/cons of each option. Per my request, we started with lab work to find my current hormone levels, DHEA/ thyroid & insulin levels. I walked out of there filled with hope (if you know the feeling of helplessness & hopelessness then you know exactly what I’m talking about). We have scheduled a follow up appointment after 4 months to reevaluate. This is a Great team!

I’ve used Cowen on all 3 of my deliveries. He is the only doctor I would recommend and he has been amazing. He is comforting and understanding and takes every concern from the most minor to major seriously. He also delivered myself 32 years ago. I was sadden to find out he is no longer doing maternity as we are now expecting our 4th child.

Dr. Cowan and his staff are amazing! Jennifer and Kelly are really efficient yet friendly! Calls or questions are always answered promptly. I absolutely love this office. I have been with Dr. Cowen for over 20 years. He and his staff are amazing. People always say “ask the hospital nurses who the best MDs are … I did and they told me Dr Cowen or Dr. Neal 20 years ago”. They were not wrong. Kelly is an Angel too. Just sent my daughter to him last week about an issue she has had since she was 16 .. she has seen pedi , family Med Md.. no one could give us any answers even after blood work. He saw her one time did blood work and we have an answer. They took their time explained to her the all her options. I have never had higher praise for an Md and his staff.

I had different doctors for each of my three sons. Dr. Cowen is my favorite doctor out of all three. I did like my 2nd sons doctor but he didnt top Dr. Cowen for me. Dr. Cowen is very experienced and compassionate. Him and his staff were very considerate of me and my concerns throughout my entire pregnancy. Kelly, his nurse, the medical assistant, which I forgot to ask her name, were always on top of things and calling me back to answer any questions I had. Even patty, who did my sonograms, was right on point with the size of my baby. Very happy with my choice and will forever remember my experience with the whole group. Special thanks to them!
