AFC Urgent Care Grand Junction

Be careful. I had a terrible experience with Billing department. I randomly wake up about a month later with a charge on my card from this urgent care. Just wanting to make people aware they will charge you after your care without a billing statement they will just randomly charge you. I called to ask about the charge and Crystal the most unprofessional billing manager I’ve ever spoken to with her attitude and she said I SIGNED a piece of paper when I was sicker than a dog giving them the authorization to have my card on file. She also heartlessly said I should read what I sign, I have never been so shocked. She was right on that part but dang they need to help you through that HUGE part. I have NEVER been SO randomly charged in my life. It’s not the amount because I pay my bills, it’s the randomness of getting charged and not getting a statement first and me being able to pay that way. She said they charge you up to the 200 then you get a statement first. I was not ready for the charge especially randomness of it. I didn’t receive a warning for sure. I told her they didn’t tell you anything when I went up to the desk about giving authorization of my card. I never found an email of this authorization either. She said it was under my junk email under a different name. It all sounds like a scam to me. We spoke to another manager and they were no ok with this Crystal situation. I don’t agree with this policy at all and completely felt violated with this random charge instead of receiving a statement first. Be careful when using them. You will get charged without warning.

This is hands down the best care Ive received from arrival to departure. Mindy was so kind and polite. She wasnt bothered by questions, she simply explained things kindly. Cap was the nurse and he was very gentle and kind. He explained things and talked to me like a person not a number. John Risi was so great! Very calm tone, understanding, listened and explained so well. He was interested in my history so he could decide how to help me and again, spoke to me like a person, not a number. I felt genuinely cared for here, thank you for the great experience!

Fast check in with very nice receptionists, short wait to get into room, great medical assistant. They were busy so had to wait for Nurse Practitioner but very helpful and competent when she arrived. I had trouble getting the prescription they automatically sent to Walgreens so they called it in. Always answered phone in timely manner. Great place. Highly recommend

Highly recommend!As a college student it’s great to have a place where I can go and know that the care will be great. They are efficient and knowledgeable, while being kind and open. I have come here often in the last year, and every time feel listened to and heard as a patient and person. Will be coming here again!

My husband and I were 1600 miles from home when we got sick with the flu. We were also treated at this health care provider last year for COVID. On both visits, we were treated very professionally and in a timely manner.

Great experience. Everyone was polite and extremely helpful. Treated my like a person. Also Id personally like to thank Tyler. He was so polite and knowledgeable. Helped me answer questions and distract me from my fear of needles.

Everyone there was so very nice and we got right in. I just wish they had more equipment and resources than just an EKG the whole time they’re open. Like x-rays and labs.That we know that is not their fault, maybe the company could think about these things.

I had never visited an urgent care facility until about a week ago. The thought of waiting forever at the hospital to get six stitches, made up my mind: try American Family Care. They were quick and efficient, providing great care every step of the way.A few days later Tyler, an EMT on staff at AFC, took a personal interest in my circumstance and helped me get those stitches removed quickly and painlessly.I would give this place TEN stars if I could, and Tyler 11.

I suspected my 2 year old had an ear infection, since it was Sunday, this was the only location open in the morning. There were quite a few people in the waiting room, but we didn’t wait long, and all of the staff were friendly and efficient. We even loved the television in the room playing puppy videos. It was a great distraction for a sick kiddo. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully not too soon!

This was my first time at Urgent Care. I wasnt sure what to expect, but everyone at the center was kind and helpful. I was in to see the nurse practioner fairly quickly and I felt heard and respected. Thank you for providing a place to go when we cannot get in to see our regular physician!

Tyler made my experience amazing! I am not a fan of needles and I can honestly say he knows what he is doing. He is a perceptive medical professional in that he uses experiences to make himself better for the next patient. Great job, Tyler !

The entire staff was excellent! They were both professional and caring. Our doctor, L Steinbach was extremely informative making the medical issue and treatment easily understandable. The nurse, Amber, was especially helpful her persona exudes a kindness that penetrates the room and makes everyone feel safe.

I was in an auto accident and I didn’t realize that I was injured until the next morning when I woke up. I went to AFC and was seen immediately by a qualified medical professional.

Staff is very friendly. Nurse and provider were professional and knowledgeable. We had a very short wait time. All around great service. I would highly recommend to travelers or new residents that need urgent care!!

AFC urgent care Grand Junction is phenomenal. I would recommend anybody go here. They got me in super fast and the Front Desk was so sweet. Tyler was so awesome and professional he drew my blood and I didn’t even feel a thing, he is a very nice guy!! I will be recommending this place to everyone !

The staff was so helpful and friendly which Ive found to be unusual in Drs offices, Especially in Urgent Cares in the valley! The provider took her time to make sure my needs were met. The front desk was helpful and friendly. When I had an issue with my pharmacy I was able to call and get assistance right away! Thank you so much! Ive already recommended AFC twice this week! I had to go back again today with Crippling Anxiety and the NP was simply amazing.

Everyone was so sweet. the med student my fiancée and i had, Cap is the sweetest ever! he kept calm and even though in some jokes. we felt very welcomed and comforted!

I broke a bone in my foot on a work trip to CO. The care I received at AFC Grand Junction was great! I was seen quickly & the staff was pleasant & supportive. It was a great experience.

I have never in my life witnessed such childish lack of professionalism . Felt like I was at a restaurant and all the teenage servers were on a smoke break. I went in for an extremely shoulder Injury and the nurses couldnt even get the story right. Didnt even know what side of my body the injury was while staring at me and asking quesrions . While I waiting in the room for almost an hour ( even after registering online ) because they were understaffed all the nurses had no problem talking and laughing telling inappropriate stories and complaining about the smell of a previous patient. Didnt knock before entering the room to put a trash bag in . And when I tried to express my concerns I was met with again teenage like laughter. I am blessed with a brother in Harvard medical but some people arent as fortunate as me and I trult pray no one brings themselves or their child there in times of need for care .

Cap was a wonderful nurse. He made me feel seen and heard, especially as a woman. Would highly recommend. Give this man a raise!!

I had a nurse who was extremely capable, efficient and friendly. She offered me nice cold water while i waited. When the doctor took a look at my samples she immediately sent me to the hospital.

Thank you afc URGENT CARE!!! YOURE THE BEST!!! If youre ever going in need of an Urgent Care facility in the Grand Junction area, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! My wife and I are on a cross country road trip and I developed lower back muscle issues, possibly jeopardizing our trip. After reading some reviews of those who went to afc Urgent Care we decided to travel over 50 miles (from Silt) hoping I might get relief. And, I did! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and upbeat. I am very grateful I chose to go to this urgent care facility!

Came in for some stitches following a bike accident. The staff was very friendly and professional. I left feeling very well taken care of. Big thanks to the staff!

Poor customer service. Made an appointment online for 6pm, showed up 15 minutes early to be told they do t take appointments made online, only Denver facilites. Then the staff stated an hour wait due to volume, but only 1 person in waiting room. Do not waste your time. As you can see by webpage, states book online.

I came in to get some testing done and was met with a friendly staff that provided me with excellent care in a timely mater. The MA who seen me, Tyler, was very helpful in assisting me and made sure I was comfortable and understood every aspect of my visit. I would definitely recommend this urgent care.

As soon as we walked in both of the receptionist rolled their eyes at us. After we stated that the patient wanting to be seen had fallen at work they denied service to us stating they did not attend people with work related injuries that it was against the law. When comments on other people’s reviews state otherwise as well as any other Urgent Care facility.Worst experience I’ve encountered if I could give 0 stars I would.

The urgent care was clean and nice. However, I waited 3 hours to be seen, for them to not be able to help or prescribe any allergy medication for the allergic reaction I had - they told me to just get benadryl. Then, I had given them my Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, and they instead charged my Aetna (which I have no idea how they even got the information for because I didnt give it to them) so then I had a $152 bill because it wasnt my main insurance. It wouldve been a huge hassle to then cancel that and have the claim processed for Blue Cross, so I had to eat $150 gone just to have waited 3 hours and for them to see me for five minutes. Sadly, not the greatest experience!

Really nice staff. Unfortunately had a shy bladder but everyone was totally cool and understanding. Would definitely recommend this place!

Excellent service they were as fast as they possibly could be as well as being extremely professional and understanding. Tyler was awesome.

The website is ridiculous. Says you can schedule appts, but no. Might as well just walk in whenever. You still have to wait like any other ER. Understandable for an emergency room, but dont offer appts if you are not going to keep it and check in patients according to need of help anyways!!

Tyler was awesome. I’m very queasy with needles and blood, and my blood draw was painless. Super friendly and respectful staff.

I showed up at 710 it says they close at 8 on the website and they refused my service saying they need to leave by 8 shouldn’t that be posted somewhere so I didn’t just drive 20 minutes to be refused service. I think the clerk was just being lazy to be honest

All the staff were very helpful and kind. I was even served cold bottled water while waiting for the doctor PA to come in. Everyone was very professional and the doctor even did a write of of care with clear instructions that I found very helpful.

Tyler was super professional! Asked all the right questions and made sure I was comfortable the whole time.

After calling to see if they would take walk in patients after 7 they told me yes, but if there is a lot of people then they would stop taking patients at 745. Showed up at 713 and was turned away with not a single person in the waiting room. This is not the first bad experience I have had here. Will NEVER be back!

The place was very clean the receptionist was very helpful we were offered water I even got a chap stick the other staff were great the receptionist made waiting not seen so long thank you

They got us in fast. The MA, Tyler, was really good at building rapport with my sick and grumpy 4 year old. The NP was thorough in her exam; running a strep culture test just to be safe. We were in and out in under an hour. Great job!

Clean lobby and patient rooms. The staff were very friendly. The wait time was reasonable. No one should expect short wait times in urgent care.

My son was having issues with his hearing in an ear. We tried several home remedies to try clearing out the blockage, but none of them worked. It was easy get in on Sunday, and Tyler took care of the issue. My son gets stressed about going to doctors or dentist, but Tyler made him feel comfortable.

I have seen Cap several times now and he always was very kind and informative and everything runs smoothly

Went in for a severe muscle spasm in my mother’s back. Np did not even examine her back, just said possibilities of something more severe and suggested ER, where we wasted 6+hours and even more money just to be told it’s a muscle spasm. Very unhappy with this Np and her carelessness

Tyler is an angel. I’ve been having a rough go of it and the icing on the cake was slipping with a knife and cutting my finger pretty bad. They were able to stitch it up beautifully. Everyone was amazing but Tyler’s bedside manner, compassion, and empathy was so very refreshing.

They got me in insanely fast and got me tested. Very easy process, great service.

Had a great experience at AFC today, was taken back very quickly and all the staff is very friendly and kind, my medical assistant was Tyler he was great as well as the medical provider she was very attentive and addressed all of my concerns.

This review is for the AFC Urgent Care located in Grand Junction, Colorado.I appreciate the professionalism and genuine kindness shown by everyone at AFC Urgent Care. My son and I have come here on several occasions and have always been happy with the way things are handled and how we are treated. The wait time can take awhile sometimes, but they do what they can to accommodate and keep you informed along the way, which is nice. I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care if youre in need of medical assistance and/or your primary care doctor is unavailable or booked out longer than youre comfortable with. Their facility is clean and sanitary and the waiting area is modern and comfortable. Its central location is convenient and the staff and service providers are all knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone is friendly and respectful and I value their opinions and insight and trust the diagnosis and treatment options as recommended. Why does it say Cortez!? It should say Grand Junction for my review

Like any other urgent care in the valley (state, country etc) there WILL be a wait. We waited only about an hour on a Saturday morning a couple of weeks ago. My daughter was sick with a respiratory illness and they were awesome and incredibly attentive, doing what they could to help her feel better, including offering both a breathing treatment and oral steroids. She was so miserable and I appreciated their help!

The front desk staff were so warm, bright, and welcoming! The wait was not long. My provider was SO helpful and took the time to explain everything to me. Definitely the best urgent care experience Ive ever had.

Found myself needing emergent care less than 1 hr before they closed on a Sunday. I was in and out quickly, but still received incredibly thorough care. Staff was kind, helpful, and got me the first dose of medicine I needed in house since it was after pharmacies were all closed.

Everyone was very pleasant and attentive to my needs. I did not feel like anyone was in a rush to push me through so they could get onto the next patient. All around it was a great experience!

I was in the room waiting for someone to see me for over an hour. When I came I was one of 3 people waiting to be seen. Not once did anyone come in to offer me something to drink while I waited. Im about to walk out the only thing keeping me from leaving is they have my co-pay.

They treated me very well and with lots of respect and it felt like they cared about me and my injury. I give it 4 stars only because I was told that I would be assisted quick when I showed up for my appointment, but there was a solid wait. I later found out they only had one doctor in for the day, and I was no longer bothered by it. A little more communication on that part and it would be an easy 5 star.

We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the facility. Our wait was short, we were offered water and treated with respect and kindness. Their staff is focused on great customer service which is so important when youre at an urgent care facility. I put their contact info in my phone so that if we need them again, I can get right to them. They explained what procedures they were going to do and always made sure we had our questions answered. What a super experience when we were in a stressful situation.

Nurses and doctors are great but the wait time is ridiculous!!! They need more doctors to see more patients over an hour wait!

Went in with chest cramp. Told them what my issue was. They charged me right off the bat before seeing anyone. Dr scared me into thinking I was having a heart attack Then told me sorry we don’t do EKGs or ANYTHING to test for heart health and told me I HAD to go to the Emergency room. She said i should take an ambulance - Then told me sorry. We have to charge you in full even though we did next to nothing for you . weighed me - blood pressure ...ps...Ive come to learn this place has reputation for this - that not offering a simple EKG is because of laziness...I went to Trailhead clinic instead where they offered friendly, professional care and EKGs - its membership based - downtown 7th ave GJ - definitely go there instead.btw -no heart attack - muscle pull under rib cage - EKG revealed :)

10/10 recommend Tyler made my pre employment screening a breeze.

All of the office staff was wonderful. I saw Steinbach, NP and she was amazing. I like that she was direct and really cared about my overall health when prescribing the right medication. She asked lot of questions and was thorough! I was very impressed!

The whole experience was fast and friendly, Tyler did a great job making the experience quick and helpful.

Every one I came in contact with made me feel at ease I will recommend this clinic for any kind of Ills you may have, the waiting area is very pleasant, there is a nice size tv so your wait be easy, there is not too much time to wait, and when you time comes to be seen, the nurse treat you in a very respectfull maner,and when the doctor comes to see you she ask you questions to pinpoint the reasons and concerns for your visit. I will recommend this clinic when your concerns are not of the emergency kind. My rating for this clinic is 10 out 10 for the exelent and very profesional maner in the way they provide you with the outmos services. Keep it going staff. Ricco C.

I visited AFC on December 26th because I needed my electrolytes checked and they are the only urgent care facility that does blood work on site. ( I am taking medication that can mess with electrolytes so I knew what I needed.) The wait was very long, and the place was crowded; one person was given a mask because she had chills and fever, but no one else was wearing one. My appointment meant nothing. The doctor I saw exercised poor medical judgment, and by sending me to the ER actually put me at risk. I got a follow up phone call asking for feedback and after I responded negatively, was told I would be called back. Nope. Then I received a bill for an amount that my Supplemental policy had paid. Not a good day for them or me.

I just moved here and Urgent cares are normally such a stressful and uncomfortable thing For me… I can’t not recommend this place more. I scheduled a walk in appointment. I was seen right away and Tyler the medical assistant was SO respectful from the start to finish with my situation. This is definitely my go to urgent care

Took my 11 month old in on 3/19 because he was vomiting, coughing, fever, wouldn’t eat, was miserable. His pediatrician wasn’t able to get him in until 3/21, so we came here. The Dr was very short and rude. Told me she “didn’t see anything of concern.” Took him to his pediatrician on 3/21 to find out he in fact had an ear infection, upper respiratory infection, and conjunctivitis. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I felt like they were trying to rush us out to get to the next person and collect a check. Awful.

Being new to the facility and looking to get some help with my health. The young lady at the front desk (sorry I didn’t get her name) was very very helpful with my insurance. Tyler who came in first to take some tests was very calm and relaxed when doing his tests. He kept it very easy and simple (Btw nice mustache). In all this was a great experience. I will be back here to this location to get my check up’s and future issues in my well being. Thank you AFC!

All staff were pleasant, professional, through and quick. Autumn was very nice and registered us quickly. Megan MA was very nice and got us back quickly. Allison was nice, knowledgeable and quick. MA Courtnee also helped us out and greeted us. Everyone was so nice! Will definitely come back!

I went for nausea and had to bring my daughter. The staff was so caring not only for me but for my daughter also. I appreciate the kindness and attentiveness. Highly recommend.

Terrible place to go. Took them forever to tell me that they didnt know if they accepted my insurance and I would need to pay up front $250 and then they would not be able to run all tests needed. Waste of time, front desk gal acted like I was putting her out by being there. Never go back again. There are better Urgent care facilities than this in Grand Junction.

Staff was very friendly, service was fast. They made us very comfortable. Gave my daughter a Capri sun and a cold water and even put on Bluey for her. It was nice being able to register online and book an appointment than just wait.

You guys rock. I came in about 45 mins to closing got me in and out. You guys listened and was very understanding to my symptoms. On top of that it was pass closing time and was waiting for my ride outside and one of the staff came out and saw I was standing out there and she offered for me to come back in and wait inside .. it was pretty cold .lol super caring and friendly people from the beginning to end. Stacy the doctor was kind and thorough. It was busy and during our wait they checked on us a bunch and gave us water and gave our sick kids drinks and coloring and stickers. Much better to wait here than the hospital for hours with no customer service. Wish they offered primary care.

Went in yesterday for a flu shot. Great location, and awesome staff. Especially Tyler: he was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met at an urgent care. Thanks a million, Tyler!

Tyler at UFC has always been nice and friendly. Hes always had a smile on his face and very good at his job and does it in a timely man. He makes going to a doctors visit a little better experience

So disappointed in this facility especially the physician. Went in on Monday the 15th with pretty intense facial and ear pain. The physician came in did a five min check asked if I ever had a sinus infection. I said no n she sent in antibiotics. Never explained what to expect or when if I needed to come back in. I took the course of antibiotics and had little to no relief, which I figured would just get better with time. Two days after I finished the meds the entire left side of my face, jaw, teeth, nose, eye, ear , temple, and forehead was in unbearable pain. I called my pcp and made an appointment but needed relief faster than the 1:20 appt or waiting hours in the er. I went back to this facility in obvious extreme discomfort and explained I was in 2 weeks prior and took all my medication and in way worse pay. There wasn’t a single soul besides myself in the waiting room. I went to my room and proceeded to wait, crying in pain for over an hour was never seen so I left. Turns out I have a severe sinus and ear infection.

Efficiency check in and friendly intake from Tyler. Attentive to details with signs and symptoms and informed me of my vitals versus just writing them down. Location was clean in the waiting room and patient care areas. Highly recommend!

I hired a new employee. I needed him to get a DOT ASAP. Everywhere I called was booked out for a month and he wasnt going to be able to work. AFC got him in the same day and the prices were better then everywhere else. Thanks so much. I will be sending them more of my drivers. I am in Glenwood Springs. If they were closer they would get all my business! Karina was very helpful getting his appointment.

Tyler and Stacy were great along with the rest of the staff. The service was quick and they made us feel comfortable and taken care of.

I slipped and fell and needed stitches in my elbow. The staff was so friendly and helpful - Everyone we met was wonderful! Stacy gave me my first stitches ( not under anesthesia ) and was so gentle and kind. A++++++ I will definitely be recommending AFC Urgent Care to friends and family!

Great staff, speedy, caring, everything you could want from a urgent care. Facility is clean, they offer water while you wait. The documents are always easy and paperwork is minimal. They sent my prescriptions to Walmart for me and made life really easy. What more could you want when youre down and out and have a problem. I really appreciate the folks over there and will return anytime I have an issue because I know they will take care of it! Thanks again everyone!

Great experience! I brought in my 3 kids from school and they were hungry and cranky and sick and the front desk offered them snacks, capri suns and put on their favorite Disney movie while we waited. I’ve never even been in a doctors office that acts like that. Thank you for giving this community this clinic!

I had a positive experience at this afc location. I arrived at around 11am on a Sunday and was the only one in the waiting room. I was called back within 15 minutes and the nurse was thorough and personable. The PA was also thorough and considerate of all my concerns and even made herself available to see me again later in the day if my situation had not improved by then. I would recommend this Urgent Care clinic.

Brought my son in when he split his chin open biking. We were the only ones in the waiting room when we arrived and were seen promptly. Our NP (Leslie? Im spacing, sorry!) and MA, Meghan, were great. They communicated very clearly and at appropriate levels for both my 8 year old and I. Always made sure he felt comfortable and safe.The ONLY reason for taking off a star is the check in process. While its perfect for situations where you can call ahead and enter your info on your way in, its less ideal to check in on your phone and take pictures of your ID and insurance cards while in the waiting room when the receptionist isnt busy and youre wishing you could have given her the cards to image and your information verbally so you could also make sure you kid was keeping pressure on the wound and not getting stressed. Certainly not enough to keep me away but Ill do things differently on the way in next time, if possible.

I visited AFG Urgent Care in Grand Junction. Despite the fact that there was only one practitioner, and a lobby full of people, I got to see the Nurse Practicier in a relatively short amount of time.The medical receptionist was so patient and kind with everyone there. She never stopped smiling.The medical assistant was top of the line. She knows her job well and she has a great personality.And the NP? Despite how very busy it was and she was the only Practitioner working that day, she did not hurry, she listened to my concerns as well as explain things to me in a manner in which I could understand.I will NEVER go to another Urgent Care in this town. The team was just top of the line.

No body likes going to the urgent care but the staff here was amazing. They were understanding, compassionate, and knowledgeable.8/24 update. Amazing again. I couldnt get in to see my regular doctor for weeks and they were very helpful. I would recommend them again and again.

I would have loved there to be an X-ray tech available but I was so glad to have a place to go instead of the ER. The nurses were wonderful and made my little guy feel comfortable. The doctor explained everything and I felt heard and in good hands.

Leslie, the receptionist was very rude a short. Although my interaction was brief, I was able to gather enough information about this clinic to make a sound and secure decision that I did not want to wait to be seen here.A wait that was “1/2 an hour to an hour tops” turned into a 5 hour wait in literally 13 minutes. The receptionist interrupted me after asking what I wanted and said, “okay, well we’re booked for the next 5 hours so do you want that appointment or not”. And I said, “oh, no thank you then”. And she just stared at me until I awkwardly walked away. YIKES, what an interaction.Time to get a new receptionist as this seems to be a common problem for Leslie. I think this Urgent Care would be much better off without her.

The entire staff was very kind and I spent very little time waiting :) I felt bad for going in for something that wasnt urgent but they were very understanding and didnt make me feel like I was a nuisance or wasting their time.

If I could give less than a one star I would. My husband broke his finger. I called a head of time to see what the wait was like. They said no wait. We go in, no one was there yet. I was excited that he would be seen sooner. I filled out all his paperwork. We waited an hour in the waiting room waiting for the doctor. Then they call him back to wait some more and see the doctor. Doctor pushes really hard on ever spot that hurts him on his finger then says let’s give you Tylenol and I’ll get orders for an X-ray. We say ok great! 45 minutes later still no X-ray. Husband is waiting in pain and he talks to someone in administrative. They ignore him then 5 minutes later asked if he’s been called back for his X-ray he says no and if he has to wait he’s rather wait to see his GP. They admin lady said wait right there. Another 5-10 minutes goes by and he tells them he is just going to leave since he has been waiting for 2 hours to get a stinking X-ray. 2 hours later no X-ray husband is still in pain and we were seen by the worst doctor ever. Dr. Alice be aware of you are injured do not see her she will put you through more pain. It seemed like the new AFC Urgent Care was under staffed and didn’t know how to run smoothly and properly. I’m really disappointed and it was a complete waist of our time.

I sustained an injury while on vacation in the area. It being a Sunday evening, radiology was not available, but the staff at this location ensured I had the information and referrals to follow up at my next stop. Their help and kindness were very much appreciated.

American family care was exactly what we needed! We are from out of town and needed someone to diagnose our 10 month old’s ear infection. The online appointment maker was way better than waiting in the waiting room for hours! The medical assistant and Nurse practitioner (Lynda Steinbach) were great! They listened to us and diagnosed our son’s ear infection quickly! She was also helpful in finding a pharmacy that was open on the Holiday weekend! The wait was just a little long, which is why we’re giving 4 stars. Other than that the facility and staff were great!

The doctors are terrible. I was sent home with no care whatsoever. Went to a different urgent care less than 24 hours later and was dx with three different acute illnesses and provided with actal medical care. DO NOT GO HERE. You will not be taken care of and you will be medically neglected. This is coming from a medical professional myself. This place should be shut down.

I happened to drive through Grand Junction last weekend and was glad there was an AFC Urgent Care in Grand Junction. The lady at the reception desk was welcoming and knowledgable. I was waiting only 3 minutes for the doctor to come in. He was quick and prescribed me right away the medication I needed. I feel already so much better today. Thank you AFC!

My urgent care visit was for an infected cuticle/granuloma! From the moment I walked in the door until I walked out my care was quick, proficient, professional and kind! As a nurse, I expect these services as routine but often am disappointed! Today I was not disappointed and appreciate the care so much!Siouxanne RN

They were in network with my insurance. They would not send over the needed paperwork to get paid from insurance. I keep getting the full bill. My insurance has sent them a letter stating not to send me another bill. I just received in the mail another bill.

Way overpriced if you do not have insurance. $250 to run a flu test and be seen, then told I have to pay more to run a Covid test 😂 Some doctors are very dismissive of your symptoms and others actually help.

I’m very grateful for the team at AFC Urgent Care for getting PCR tests done for our large family with such a quick turnaround, and in a way that meets all of the strict travel requirements for our trip. The staff were very helpful and they were kind to my children too!

Went in with our 2 year old daughter and was almost immediately meet with do you have an appointment we are booked out for the rest of the day, I suggest going somewhere else. We told them her symptoms and they said the would see her, it would be about an hour. We sat down and started the online paper work, when we finished we got a text with an appointment time for almost 3 hours later. I went up to the desk trying to talk to someone and let them know we were going to try somewhere else and no one would come to the desk. I called after we left and they just sent me to a voice-mail, We left unable to speak to anyone or being seen. 🤷‍♀️

The wait is always an hour to two hours. Even taking that into consideration and making an appointment, I have waited for an hour just to be seen and 45 mins past appointment time and counting. I would understand if the place was busy but it is not.Update it has been an hour past my scheduled appointment, still waitingWorst place ever! If you are looking to have pregnancy blood work done or a test done they will tell you its possible and then get you in an exam room to tell you they dont offer blood work?! Very bad service. Dont waste peoples time

I went to this urgent care and everyone was very very nice. From the receptionist to the MA to the Dr. The white was kind of long, but that was only because there were several people ahead of me. I would recommend this place if you need an urgent care.

Just spoke to Leslie on the phone about coming in to be seen and she made sure to tell me that they accept walk ins but warned that we may have to wait anywhere up to an hour to be seen or could schedule an appointment which the soonest appointment would be at 5:30pm. Due to my partners pain levels I said he would drive right there and wait an hour instead of waiting until 5:30pm. My partner drove all the way there to be told that they weren’t accepting patients until 6pm and there was only one other person in the waiting room. I called back and spoke to Leslie again and inquired about why this is and she was extremely rude and short with me. She said “I told you there was a wait time” and I asked why it went from an hour wait to a 4 hour wait in the 15 minutes it took him to drive there. She said “I don’t know” and had the worst attitude with me. My mother was sitting next to me and was appalled by her tone and attitude over the phone. Very disappointing and upsetting. Can’t speak to the care they offer because the receptionist is disrespectful, inconsiderate, and incompetent.

Honestly, the best urgent care in the valley. The staff are wonderful people and treat you like a human being. Im grateful to have such a great medical team to help me when I need it.

First time. I went in with a severe sore throat that turned out to be strep. They were so kind and professional. Both the nurse ans nurse practioner treated me wonderfully. They gave me the care I needed and coordinated my referral.
