We had a Zoom consultation over a year ago (6/2022) with this clinic to get more information about the IVF process. There was no testing, no personal history review, just a basic consult going over available options. When we scheduled the consult, we were there were no fees associated with an initial consult and the visit over Zoom was brief. We ended up relocating out of state end of 10/22 and are currently about to begin our second IVF cycle with a different clinic. We never received a bill from Frisco Fertility Center or even an explanation of benefits from our insurance in the time we were in Texas, and never received anything through mail forwarding in the following year. In 8/2023, I received a text saying that we owe a balance of over $200 to this clinic. I called the clinic and spoke with the billing department to verify that this wasnt a spam text message because it seemed extremely weird for the first contact to be over text a year later. The billing department stated that, the charges were correct. I explained our situation to her, and she said, because there was no notation of who I spoke with telling me there was no charge, they would not honor what we were told. I also explained to her that we are in the middle of an IVF cycle and financially we are tapped and even just some help would be appreciated given the circumstances and she said again, that there was nothing the clinic could do to help. I asked to speak with the manager and she stated that the manager was on the other line and would call me back. That did not happen and it took an additional month to get a patient statement sent to us after the phone call. Just from this experience alone and how incredibly stressful IVF is when it is going smoothly, I absolutely would not recommend this clinic if this is how they handle the financial aspect of IVF

The only word I can think of to describe my experience with Dr. Barnett’s office is traumatizing. The front desk staff is cold and unsympathetic, and very unprofessional- you’ll never have a call answered, and if they return your call it takes a minimum of 4-5 hours. My husband and I just completed an IUI cycle, and we agreed that if we had known ahead of time what today would have been like, we wouldn’t have done it at all. This office treats patients like a science experiment, not people. Also, in three months and 9+ visits to this office, I only saw dr. Barnett 2 times. The rest of the time I was handled by nurses and the unprofessional front desk staff that couldn’t even keep my information straight. Find another option if you can!*Edit: After the response below, I reached out to the number provided on 3 different occasions, leaving a message each time (the call was never answered). I never received a return phone call.

Search Dallas IVF, and youll find multiple different company names: Frisco Fertility Center, Plano Fertility Center, Dallas IVF, etc. They have countless Tax IDs. Why? Well, to venture a guess, Id say so they can do to you what they did to my family. We had one procedure that we paid, but they charged it multiple times under all sorts of different names and Tax IDs. Still, the charge was billed for the same procedure, same date, and exact same price, down to the penny. Even their billing department would forget what facility they were supposedly calling from halfway through introducing themselves. Maybe this wont happen to you, I dont know. But I sure wouldnt take the risk. Find a decent doctor who doesnt try robbing from his patients.

They were very honest and gave me all my options. I would recommend them if you want the truth about you situation even when its not what you want to hear.
