Planned Parenthood - Fulton Street Health Center

The staff and the doctors at this clinic are very efficient and helpful. I have been going to this clinic for many years and have always been treated kindly. Even when at times I was nervous or confused they walked me throught it and educated me about which options were safe. Their services are great and helpful. Highly recommended.

I went and the wait was long even though I had an appointment. The nurse was cussing on her cell phone in the room after she took my blood. Told the doctor that I wanted to change my birth control and he told me No. That I was fine, to leave it alone. After my appointment they rush me out without paperwork. Rude. Will not return!

Ive been going here for several years already, for multiple services that they provide. Their call center answers quick and Ive always got an appointment set up as early as same day or within the two weeks. The pick up service is quick and easy. When I go in person the lines are hardely ever long; they have nurses at each window. I usually get called within the 15 minutes. Every single staff Ive came across were kind, respectful, compassionate and helpful. This is really one of the few places where I feel safe and comfortable.

They are wanting to charge over $400 for a test, visit and Im guessing treatment. We went there because we dont have insurance, so how in the world would we be able to pay that?!The person at the front was extremely rude and couldnt care less that this was a problem for us. Didnt even try and help us figure out what we could do.We are BEYOND upset, VERY unhappy!

I recently turned 18 and was very fearful of my parents finding out I receive any type of sexual health care. Planned Parenthood assured me all of my care is confidential and helped me join FamilyPact so I wouldnt have to worry about paying for my visit, as my income is under the poverty level. The employees were also very educational and helpful.

Everyone at this clinic is kind and professional. I did not have to wait an unreasonable amount of time. The doctor on duty did a very good job at making me comfortable, and the nurse explained everything very well, everyone including the receptionists are very helpful. My insurance did not cover the costs for me but they set me up with a program to cover the costs for me so I really appreciate that they were able to do that. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Wait time was about 30 minutes. I was in and out within an hour. Bathroom was pretty bad. And the room that I was in was in a little bad condition. I noticed how the nurse came in and didnt wash her hands but grabbed gloves and drew blood out from my finger. Another nurse came in and grabbed gloves and drew blood from my arm. There are NO HAND WASHING! The tray was NOT cleaned. It couldve been but there were no towel laying down as an effort of sanitary. I was told that my HIV test came out negative with the door open with my name being called. Its an okay place.

Staff are always rude not matter what day or time you walk in .

For my first visit (Sep. 2017) I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment and I did not get called in until an hour after my scheduled appointment, once I was called they only took 10 minutes to briefly explain the medication and it felt rushed. The second visit (April 2018) I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment, the staff at the counter was friendly and welcoming but the nurse (I believe named Virginia) make me feel unwelcome as soon as she started talking to me. The was she talked and explained things was rude and I did not feel comfortable asking her question but I did anyways and the responses were judgmental. I did not feel comfortable talking to her and I wanted to leave immediately. Overall, most of the staff at the counter seemed friendly but they are a bit slow and the nurse Virginia made the experience uncomfortable, I wont come back to this Health Center.

They should really update their hours on the pages and at least tell or post something online stating that the Providers leave early on Fridays!!! They close early Fridays!!! Hours on the site is irrelevant. I called to see what time they close and they told me 3/31/23 is closed early due to a Holiday? What Holiday is 3/31/23 on because I work in a Medical office also and we don’t have this date as a holiday? Liess!!! This was for all Fresno Locations FYI

I visited this location 3 years ago during a tough time when I had no health insurance. The staff were some of the most compassionate people Ive come across. They were quick, efficient, kind, and went out of their way to help me. Thank you, I wont forget it.

Started HRT here, and how they taught me to inject was good but they raised my testosterone prescription too high, and I didnt find out until going to the Planned Parenthood Family First Health Center on 1st and Bullard. At Family First they let me know that if my levels are too high it can reverse the effect, I think it would help if the Fulton center told people the same at the beginning.

The upkeep is quite unfortunate, the waiting room smelled very strongly of marijuana & urine. Works if youre desperate but definetly not the nicest location, I highly recommend driving to the location on First street

The lady that is the receptionist that works on the front that sits in the middle with her glasses was so rude so disrespectful will not be coming back because of her

Trash service i wait 3 hours to be seen ask walking while they took every walk in before me the location is full of homeless ppl that due what the please some uncomfortable/ unprofessional pph i have been to

Nice staff but some times there is a long wait to get seen for appointments. Also, if you walk in, you may not have a chance to get seen for certain things that day. They ask you to make an appointment for a later date.

Had an appointment but they never called or notified me that they were going to be closed! So unprofessional, at least have the texting service let us know its going to be closed.The appointment shouldve never been scheduled in the first place if it was going to be closed!

Appt was at 12:40pm Im writing this while waiting in their office. It 2:01pm. Dont know whats the hold up. Staff not very helpful. Seems like they hate their job or something.

Why all the time their doctor is on lunch. I wonder how much he/she eats. They don’t care about your time, will make you wait.

EVERYTHNG WAS GOOD BESiDES THE WAiT N ALSO WEN i WENT iN AT MY APPOiNTMENT TiME THEY TOLD ME COME BACK iN 30MiN THE DOCTOR WAS GOiNG ON LUNCH. WHY DO THEY GiVE YOU AN APPOiNTMENT WEN THE DOCTOR HAS LUNCH.. BESiDES THAT iT WAS FiNE i WAS kiND OF NERVOUS BUt iTS OK MY NURSE SEEMED NERVOUS 2 LOL SHE POKED MY FiNGER N THEN GOT MY BLOOD ALL OVER THE WALL HAHA.. 😂😂
