We had a fantastic experience at West Coast Fertility Center. The care staff were friendly and efficient, and Dr. Kushnir was attentive and thorough. What we appreciate is the fact that they looked into our case differently and explained possible options which we had the decision and no one else. They always made us feel that they are always there in every part of our journey! Kudos to the team of Maria, Maritza, Rhea, Beth, Shelby and all the care staff! The facility was clean and well-organized, and our appointment was always timely and comfortable. I highly recommend West Coast Fertility Center for top-notch care and a positive experience!

I have nothing but great things to say about WestCoast Fertility! I have been a patient since 2022 and had one retrieval with a fresh transfer that failed and then the following year in 2023 I transferred my remaining 2 embryos that also failed. During that time I had 2 friends that I referred who both had successful transfers on their first try. I took some time off to work on my physical and mental health then went back in 2024 for my second retrieval with a fresh transfer that was successful! Dr Kushnir tried a different protocol that helped the success. The nurses in the office are amazing. They will make you feel so well taken care, feel comfortable to ask any question, and will walk you through the process step by step. I’m so happy to have found Dr Kushnir and his team and grateful to have referred 2 couples who were also able to conceive. Since then, I have referred 2 more couples and I’m excited for them to begin the process because I know they will be in good hands!

Weve had such a great experience with West Coast Fertility Centers. Dr. Kushnir is very straight forward and so knowledgeable about all the latest research/science, but still open to trying whatever makes you comfortable. All the wonderful women in the office are so kind/supportive and helpful. They are very clear and upfront about pricing so there were no surprises. Just overall, my husband and I are very happy with our experience with them and would recommend WCFC to anyone who finds themselves needing fertility treatment.

We had a great experience at West Coast Fertility. Dr. Kushnir took time to fully explain our options. While we had some communication concerns at the beginning of our treatment, Beth helped to bridge the gap and it was great moving forward. The staff was always kind and empathetic, especially Denise and Shelby. They were also very responsive when we had any questions or concerns. I went with West Coast fertility because their reviews were good. Unfortunately, my experience did not match that of others. I cannot in good conscience give them the same good review. Dr. Kushnir was very impersonal and at times indelicate to our situation. My husband, who is very tough, even found his approach to be inappropriate. We had some really tough outcomes that were not dealt with with care or tact. I dont want to see anyone else go through that. It was painful.Secondly, I was very concerned with how disorganized the back office was. There were several times where my medications were misplaced and they had to go searching for them. Then I had an issue where they actually went against what I had put on my legal signed paperwork which was concerning on more than one level. That was close to a legal issue. At the end of the day, I just could not continue with them. There are some kind folks here but it left me with a general distrust of their capabilities and expertise so I ended up continuing care elsewhere.I dont like leaving negative reviews. I take no joy in doing that but the infertility and loss world is one that needs to be treated with so much gentility and care. I wouldnt recommend them because of that. Im happy to see others have had success here but I would just say be careful. There are lots of amazing and caring doctors out there in Orange County, especially. Bedside manner is really important to consider with this area of medicine. Dont discount how uplifting and helpful it is to have a doctor who sees you as a human being and not just another number on a page. It makes a bigger difference than you realize.

We moved from another fertility clinic in Irvine, and it was the best decision. All the other doctors I have talked to would recommend DE if you’re 40+. Dr. Kushnir listened to me and explained the process thoroughly. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate at the same time. His team is professional and fantastic - from the front desk, the nurses (especially Beth and Cindy), and all the staff! They respond to all my questions on time. During the procedure, they ensured I was comfortable, and you can feel they genuinely care about their patients. I had my first transfer last month and am currently pregnant (OE). My husband and I are so grateful we found this place. I highly recommend this West Coast Fertility! Thank you to the whole staff!!!

My husband and I have had the best experience at West Coast Fertility Centers. Linda, Shelby, Beth and all the staff are always so kind and welcoming. IVF is hard and not easy, and they have always been so comforting through every step. Even calling us just to see how we are doing in the in-between stages. We are so thankful to Dr. Kushnir and the clinic for making it possible to become parents!!

My husband and I had been trying for over 2.5 years and it was so discouraging to keep getting the negative results every time and an overwhelming journey at best. We were hesitant between the costs and everyone we knew having had to try more than two or more rounds to see success so we were nervous every turn when looking for the right place. For an experience that can be scary and daunting, we couldn’t have picked a better clinic to go through treatment with. Dr. Kushnir, Linda, and the rest of the WCFC team have been incredible through this process. We had every question answered, every fear addressed and were given all the knowledge we needed to know we were making the right decision. The outcome was amazing as we are now pregnant with our first baby after trying for over 5 years. The clinic is also incredibly affordable compared to many other places in this region, and we still felt like we got the 5 star treatment. After conceiving naturally at 37 years old (I have a 2.5-year-old), I returned to birth control as advised by my OBGYN six weeks postpartum. For the next year, I didn’t have a period, which I attributed to the suppressive effects of the pill. However, when I went off the pill to try for our second child, my period still didn’t return. A friend recommended I see a prominent fertility doctor in Orange County to check for any issues. It turned out I had Asherman’s Syndrome, a condition that developed after the birth of my son.I spent a year with this doctor, investing thousands of dollars in four fertility treatments, only to end up with a broken heart. This doctor had an impressive history, a warm bedside manner, and was always bubbly, kind, and encouraging. However, the office was extremely busy, with responses to my questions coming late at night, and wait times averaging one to two hours. The waiting area was often crowded, and the atmosphere was tense. Despite my fondness for the doctor, after four unsuccessful attempts, I decided it was time to move on.I decided to spend a month researching clinics and doctors, creating an extensive Excel spreadsheet with notes, ratings, and pricing. I met with a total of ten new doctors and spent about $2K in consultation fees alone—eight in Orange County, one in Los Angeles, and one I flew to see in San Jose. Dr. Kushnir was the last doctor I consulted.During the consultation phase, I immersed myself in research, educating myself about IVF, reading white papers and case studies. I concluded that transferring Day 3 embryos would be the best option for my specific case. Dr. Kushnir was the only doctor in Orange County willing to do this, as many doctors prefer not to, possibly (in my opinion) to protect their SART statistics.When reviewing pricing with Beth at Dr. Kushnirs office, I was shocked at the affordability. The first doctor I saw charged around $40K (medications included) for one transfer, whereas Dr. Kushnirs pricing was $12K (including medications). This was incredible, especially considering that other prominent doctors in Newport and Irvine averaged around $30K per transfer. IVF is a numbers game, and with such high costs, it was difficult for my husband and me to keep trying. Dr. Kushnirs very reasonable pricing gave us the opportunity to have multiple attempts if needed.Fortunately, I didn’t need many attempts with Dr. Kushnir. My first stimulation resulted in five Day 3 embryos, and the second attempt produced three more. After transferring four Day 3 embryos in the second round, I am now pregnant with a healthy baby girl. This is my last week at Dr. Kushnir’s office, and while I’m excited to move on to my OBGYN’s care, I will miss the WCF team dearly.Throughout the process, I often emailed Dr. Kushnir during the day while at work, and he always got back to me the same day, often within a couple of hours, with feedback and answers to my questions. He was also very willing to try experimental treatments, like prescribing Viagra and approving my desire to get PRP treatments.Dr. Kushnir and Dr. Perkins genuinely care about their patients. When they learned I was pregnant, their joy was palpable—Dr. Kushnir lit up, and Dr. Perkins’s eyes welled with tears. Beth, Shelby, Tara, Denise, Cindy, Miritza, Rhea and all the other staff members were equally thrilled for me and amazing. Dr. Kushnir is not overly expressive, but he is highly analytical and driven by research and results. He is thoughtful in his approach, humble, and committed to achieving success for you. When he speaks, it’s important to listen.WCF is a well-oiled machine, and I wish them endless success. I hope others work with them and experience the same joy. I will be forever indebted to Dr. Kushnir and his team. He is truly a one-of-a-kind doctor who is not driven by money, fame, or SART numbers, but by a genuine commitment to providing the highest quality fertility care while ensuring access for all patients. We had a great experience with West Coast Fertility Center. Maria, Beth and the rest of the staff always treated us like family. We did one retrieval and two transfers, all of which were successful. During each procedure, we were treated kindly, everything was straightforward and went smoothly. All fees were discussed beforehand and we never felt blindsided by anything. We welcomed our son earlier this year and I couldnt be more grateful.

West coast fertility centers helped us through our IVF process. Things may not have gone as smoothly as we hoped, but they made themselves available to answer questions and mediate concerns. Never had to wait a long time for an appointment and always was able to get someone on the phone.

I started coming to west coast fertility 1 year ago. Since then, I’ve had 2 polypectomy procedures, 1 round of IUI, and 1 IVF cycle. I am now 6 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby and it’s all thanks to west coast fertility. They have been so great with accommodating my questions and needs. I’m even able to talk to the nurses after hours for emergencies and they are amazing. I really love this place. If you want to start a family and need a little help, definitely don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it.

We had a wonderful experience at West Coast Fertility. Everyone was kind and professional. The office is very clean and organized. The entire process was explained to me in great detail. First, I have to be honest with you, after three years of my wife and I trying to conceive via IUI & IVF, Im now able to leave a positive review. You can only imagine how frustrating 36 months can be after each negative pregnancy test; nevertheless, after finally conceiving, I will tell everyone who desires to have a child later in life that IVF can work but it will test your faith. Dr. Kushnir and his staff played a vital role in supporting our family (medically and emotionally)! Additionally, for this review, I want to recognize Beth Torres, she was a God send for our family! Initially, I didnt click well with her; however, as I got to know her, she was the sweetest and kindest nurse my family couldve ever hoped for. She helped us through the lowest times and provided us love & support (she really is the linchpin for West Coast Fertility: just read other reviews, and youll see)!

West coast fertility centers have been great so far. Dr Kushner is extremely knowledgeable. He was able to answer all our questions with ease. The facility is clean, the staff is super helpful and you cannot beat the price.

I came to Dr Kushnir at West Coast Fertility Center through a referral from my doctor. After receiving a cancer diagnosis, I needed to go through fertility preservation before treatment. I had never thought about egg retrieval or freezing opportunities before my cancer diagnosis, and I went into my first visit feeling very nervous. Dr. Kushnir and Dr. Perkins were wonderful - they talked me through my options and answered all my questions. Once I decided to move forward, the office support staff went above and beyond to help me figure out how to keep my costs as manageable as possible, navigate insurance, and access cancer-related fertility support options. Beth Torres worked closely with me to help me get ready for my cycle - she guided me through making the best decision about paying out of pocket for meds or going through insurance for them and she kept me calm through the process in general. Shelby, the nurse practitioner, and Terah, the ultrasound tech, were consistently warm and knowledgable. They explained every stage of development, helped me understand my symptoms, and talked me through the possible side effects of the process so that I was never surprised by anything. The front desk and other support staff were also amazing - responsive, organized, and kind. Even at the best of times fertility preservation can be an emotional process. I had a successful cycle, but given the tight timelines and my own personal challenges it was a little complicated. Because of that, I am so grateful to everyone at West Coast Fertility. I hope this review lets them know how much they are appreciated, but I also hope it helps people deciding how to move forward feel comfortable choosing this office.

My husband and I have been struggling to get pregnant for 2 years. I went to a different facility prior to going to West Coast Fertility with 4 IUI failures and a lack in communication in this other facility. We made a scary decision to leave and it was the best thing we could have done. We found West Coast Fertility on Yelp and were so happy to get in quickly to see the Dr. Kushnir, where he explained everything out to us. What we would need and what our plan will be. We got pregnant after our first IVF transfer! I have to say a thank you to the whole team. They get to know you, learn your name and answer all your questions. If it’s after hours, you email them and they get back to you next day. Beth and Cindy have been with me throughout and have answered all my questions, even some of the silly ones. They are all patient and kind. 100% recommend

These guys have become our family. Going through any infertility treatment is one of the toughest things, one can go through. But what matters the most is having staff that care, and that are empathetic. They are fantastic. They were available to answer all questions, however small. We had gone to a different office where I didn’t like the experience, but when we came for a consult here, we knew it was the right place. I would highly recommend any couples in need of fertility treatment to get a consult here.

All staff members are kind and passionate in what they do. All medication procedures given were explained thoroughly, which made things a whole lot easier. We love Dr Diaz and the whole staff!! I just did my 3rd transfer with west coast fertility and they are great as they where the first day we went to them in 2016!From our first apt dr Diaz and his nurse Beth gave us the best service, he explained everything that was happening every step we would need to take and at every apt made us feel comfortable and assured. I love that I can do everything in office from having my blood test done to the ultrasounds and hysteroscopy, the procedures I’ve had to have before each transfer. The recover nurse Maya is awesome, Dr Katar the anesthesiologist gives the best naps. Nurses Cindy and Denise have been great to work with this round.I have 2 beautiful babies thanks to the wonderful team and I can’t wait to hear the results from our latest transfer.

Had a great experience here at this clinic! I did two IUI’s (unsuccessful) and 1 frozen transfer ( 7 weeks pregnant now 🤰🏻)! Through all of my visits everyone was always super friendly and answered all of my questions! The only thing I would want changed is having my husband with me during the transfer. It’s a quick procedure and I know some others allow partners during that part which would have been cool! Overall positive experience and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone struggling with fertility!

I want to share how happy I am with my experience with West Coast Fertility Centers and Dr Kushnir. From the moment we stepped into the office, everyone was amazing, understanding and made me feel comfortable through the process. They offered us different options and explained everything thoroughly. After multiple failed IUI’s at another location we were able to conceive after two FET’s! Dr Kushnir is very knowledgeable, transparent, understanding and communicative with everything within our IVF plan. We appreciate the support that Cindy and Beth provided during our process. I’m very happy with the services my family received at West Coast Fertility. We went for gender selection and were successful after one round of IVF. Dr. Kushnir has a dry and succinct bedside manner but I felt he was very knowledgeable which is what was most important to us. Anything he is lacking in comfort, the nurses Beth and Cindy made up for 10 fold. They are wonderful!

He is very knowledgeable in his field. He is straight-forward with any questions I had and explained the process of the procedure for me.When he did my surgery, he had proper bedside manners and was extremely gentle. I was a little worried my recovery process would be difficult but I literally had no pain and had no complications. I mean, dang he is GOOD. I am so glad that I was able to find Dr. Kushnir and his team after countless searches of clinics and doctors. Thank you again to Dr. Kushnir and his team for everything they have done to ensure a beautiful outcome!!I also had a follow-up to ensure that everything went well from my surgery and I seriously cannot recommend you to at least take the time to visit him and his team. My wife and I are so glad we found WCFC in Fountain Valley. All the staff here are very caring, knowledgeable, and show a genuine passion and dedication for helping their patients reach their fertility goals. Going through IVF is a very long, stressful, painful, scary, and very expensive journey, but the staff here, especially Shelby and Beth are always here for you and completely go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Thank you WCFC for bringing the possibility of having a child to my wife and I a reality.The only thing is, we really wish they would have allowed us to take a picture/video of the ultrasound image of our blastocyst being implanted, or allowed the father to be in the room during the procedure. Through our research, we know that some other places do allow this for the special moment when the baby is implanted, but sadly WCFC did not allow this.

I am very happy my husband and I decided to continue our TTC journey with West Coast Fertilty (instead of another place we were looking at)! Dr. Kushnir, Beth, and all the staff at West Coast Fertility are definitely the family you want helping you start or grow your family. Beth is wonderful, communicative, and so helpful. Dr. Kushnir seems to really know this world. (He also teaches RE). Of all the doctors we consulted with, Dr. Kushnir was the only one who recommended a different approach/protocol, and it seems to have worked. We got pregnant on our first round of IVF here (after 4 failed IUIs and a year + of infertility struggles). The cost here is 1/3 of everywhere else we looked as well, which made this process more approachable for us. The lower cost was appealing, but wouldn’t matter if the clinic wasn’t also well reviewed and the doctor knowledgeable with good results. Check, check, and check. We’re so grateful we found this place!

West Coast Fertility Center in Fountain Valley is our third fertility clinic we’ve been to and the only clinic that has been successful for us. I had 2 successful attempts with IVF here in West Coast.My 1st experience was back in 2019 with Dr. Diaz when we were able to have our first baby boy. What we liked the most about Dr. Diaz was his years of experience and how he explained every process and the reason behind every procedure. This was was reassuring for us. His staff is very communicative, dependable and warm. I felt like they genuinely care about their patients, especially Beth and Cindy whom we worked with the most.Fast forward to 2023.Our 2nd IVF experience now with Dr. Kushnir (Dr. Diaz retired) was smooth and easy. Since it was our second time we already knew what to expect. Thankfully, they retained some of the staff especially Beth and Cindy. The staff who were new to us like Denise seemed well trained in their jobs. Their office flows very efficiently it seems.A special thanks to Beth who was very responsive and took care of me when I had a severe systemic allergic reaction to one of the medications. Dr Kushnir immediately switched me out to an alternative medication that worked.I am very thankful to Dr Kushnir and all the staff in helping us grow our family as we’re now expecting a baby girl.

My wife (28yrs w. PCOS) and I (28yrs w.unexplained fertility) have been trying to grow our family for a year and a half before deciding to go through with IVF. While shopping around for a Fertility Clinic near the San Diego area we realized that not only is WCFC extremely affordable compared to other clinics in our area but they are also always available when needed. Ive never experienced being on a long hold, never had to wait long for a consultation, and appointment times were always catered to me and my wifes schedule.Something that really stuck with me with WCFC is how personal they were throughout the process. We felt an immense amount of support from the staff & were so grateful that we werent looked at as just a number.We chose regular IVF for my wife & Embryo freezing for me. We were prescribed regular IVF meds. I recommend looking into the compassionate care program to get discounted rates on some of the meds. With the help and support of the staff my wife retrieved 37 eggs in one cycle and I retrieved 45 eggs in one cycle!! Our first attempt with WCFC ended in a success. We transferred two embryos and one stuck. We highly recommend working with them.Special shoutout to Maria, Beth, Shelby and Dr.Kushnir! Really some amazing people.

We have had a really positive experience at West Coast Fertility Centers. After considering several OC Fertility Centers for our IUI process, we chose to work with Dr Kushnir because of his experience and education.The office was clean and the pricing was straight forward. My wife and I were welcomed warmly when we came in and everyone was professional and knowledgeable.After two IUI procedures, my wife and I are expecting!We would recommend this clinic for their transparency, professionalism, and experience.

Im giving this office 5 stars because they really deserve it. My husband and myself had been trying for over 10 years and not only did I get diagnosed with our issues I was able to get pregnant on our Second IUI and I have a 4 month old daughter who I wouldnt have today if it wasnt for this clinic. Not only is the Dr very thorough the nurses and staff are all AMAZING. I am afraid of blood draws and have very hard veins but the Head Nurse always came to my rescue and I never felt a thing and collected on the first stick! My husband and I plan on being a returning patient by the end of the year. Thank you again West Coast Fertility!!!

West Coast Fertility Centers is a great place that I would highly recommend. I found all the staff and nurses very caring and helpful and they were available by text whenever I had a question or concern. I also think that Dr. Kushnir made very informed and smart decisions about my situation, and I got pregnant after an egg retrieval and my first FET. West Coast is also tries to keep costs down for patients, it is much less than clinics in the city of LA, and I was very impressed with the all around quality and supportive atmosphere.

Our family had an exceptional experience with Dr. Vitaly Kushnir and the West Coast Fertility team. I have been going to west coast fertility for about 4-5 months now and I have to say I absolutely everyone there! The dr and the stuff are all very good at explaining everything! I highly recommend West Coast Fertility Center (WCFC).This is a longer review as selecting a fertility clinic is one of the most important decisions youll make. Finding an exceptional fertility clinic is emotional and stressful. I spoke to or visited at least 10 different clinics before selecting WCFC. I recommend this clinic for the following reasons:1. I was treated with dignity, respect, and kindness throughout the entire process. I had been to other clinics that had shamed me for several discriminatory factors and pre-existing conditions or had staff that were rude/insensitive. However, when I had my first consultation Denise and Dr. Kushir had reassured me and didnt make me feel like my pre-existing conditions were a burden. They had solutions and options. Being treated with respect, dignity and kindness goes such a long way during a process like this that carries such a physical emotional and mental toll.2. Cost - Fertility treatment was way too costly in my hometown and I needed more cycles than most so I needed to find a place that had lower costs. This place was the best. Even with the exchange rate. Other clinics I went to were an obvious cash grab with poor service.3. Knowledgeable Doctor and Amazing Staff. The nurses Denise, Beth, and Melody are absolutely exceptional. Every question I had they knew and had the right answer. Denise is so kind and had so much patience with me and my many questions. Beth was like a 2nd mom to me during my stay here. They treated us like family and were fantastic. Dr. Kushnir is so knowledgeable and an expert in complex cases. Hes in several publications and has a vast amount of experience.4. Great communication and resources. This Clinic empowers the patient to make informed decisions, explains complex concepts and COMMUNICATES regularly. They were realistic and managed my expectations which is very important during fertility treatments. Dr. Kushnir was honest, and to the point, and he communicates well. He makes time to answer your questions and ensure you understand whats happening.The team explained everything from the costs to consents in detail. Plus they have so much info on their website. The consent form was a lot more informative and had more options than other clinics Ive been to. I felt empowered and informed to make the right choices.5. Successful outcomes - my treatment went well. My expectations were managed and met. This was really important to me.Fertility is often gamble and always a tough journey with lots of ups and downs along the way no matter who is treating you. However, when you go down this path you want the best medical team to help guide you. I couldnt have asked for a better treating clinic and medical team. Truly exceptional. Thank you WCFC!

The prices listed on the site are for cash paying clients only. If you have insurance coverage, they will not be able to clearly outline any of what that pricing will look like in terms of. I asked for the info, was told I’d receive a call back with details and never heard back. When I called back and spoke with someone the only clear numbers I was given was that I’d need to pay 2,000 for any procedure since surgeries are performed at another location out of network. I asked for even just an estimate of what insurance charged for treatments, to see what my limit may potentially cover and get an idea of what my out of pocket costs may be and she literally could provide nothing. Biggest takeaway was that 99.9 insurance providers she’s seen didn’t cover the treatment I was looking at. Which mine is a special program through my employer and 100% confirmed does. Very discouraging. Super frustrating. There’s no way to reply to their empathy lacking response…but I truly wish they had shared that information with me when I called themBEFORE and said I was morally switching my insurance providers to be able to be in network and receive the pricing listed on the website. No one shared that was out of pocket pricing until AFTER I made such a change just to go with your clinic.

Staffs are very professional and accommodating. They treat clients with respect and dignity. Dr. Kushnir is very knowledgeable and would answer all the questions you may have. Ms. Beth was well experienced and all of your anxiety will vanish once she starts talking to you and holds your hand before each procedure like you are family. I highly recommend West Coast Fertility Centers. Their office has an individualized approach and they are easily reached through call/text. I truly cannot say enough how grateful I am for Dr. Kushnir and the staff at WCFC! Going through IVF is a very emotional process and WCFC made us feel comfortable with every step of the way. They were transparent and always available via text, email, or phone call. I came to Dr. Kushnir with unexplained infertility, recurrent miscarriages and an autoimmune disorder, and he made a protocol specific to my needs. He is so kind and listens to your concerns and any questions you have. The staff is very knowledgeable and treats their patients like family. I am happy to say our first FET was successful! We are so thankful for Dr. Kushnir and his team at WCFC!

I felt like a number here and that the staff was completely disinterested in my outcome. It seemed they were more interested in taking my money rather than guiding me in my process of a positive outcome.I used this office a few years ago with Dr Garcia and couldnt be happier with that care. I was impressed by Nurse Beths care and above and beyond attention. But, the quality has fallen since he left. Dr. Kushnir seems completely disassociated from the patient. The first time we planned to come in for a time sensitive treatment, I followed the directions of the staff, called when it was time, only to be told that he was on vacation and wouldnt be there and I had no other option but to wait another month. This was planned, they had my chart, and they were tracking my body and should have told me this before hand. The second time was not too different, I showed up when asked, and when I got there, and he did the tests he said it was too late but hed try anyway since they were prepared (thus just throwing my money away). The third and last time I came in I asked to be monitored sooner as to not have this happen again, and he had trouble with the procedure and told me Next time, tell me to use a different catheter. NEXT TIME! That is not the language you want to hear from your dr when getting these procedures. Additionally, write it in my chart. It is not my job tell you how to do your job. Finally, I have not heard a word from that office since my last procedure. Which tells me they are completely disinterested in the outcome.Finally, during the blood draw process, the nurses proved to not know what they were doing. I had to return 3 times for a blood draws because they forgot to order certain labs. This incurred charges for each time rather than just the one like intended.I am saddened that I wasted 3 months on this clinic and $1,000s of dollars on procedures that the Dr. didnt seem engaged in or care what the outcome was. I have since switched Drs.

WCFC was overall a really great experience. This was my second time going through an egg freezing cycle, but first at WCFC. For the purposes of this review, I will be coming from a lens of experiencing this process at two different clinics in OC. When looking for a second clinic (a year after my first cycle), I completed more thorough research. In particular, I was looking for a place that was highly rated, suggested by top fertility rating/evaluation sites, preferably cheaper than my first clinic, and also closer to my work (or able to be flexible with my work hours). Thankfully, WCFC came up as a good option and it was near to my work. While I share pros and cons, it is simply so you can be educated in your decision making and not because the cons were significant or problematic for me.I would say that what I was most impressed by was their pricing and cost transparency. At first it seemed a bit suspicious, but as I asked questions and did my own research, I felt confident that it did not equal bad results or bad service. Dr. Kushnir and his staff care deeply about their clients and also want to make the (otherwise ridiculously expensive) process more accessible for people, which I find admirable.While it did not significantly hinder my experience, I did notice some differences at this clinic that probably help to keep the costs lower. Mainly, I really only had interaction with Dr. K for my initial consultation and the day of my procedure. Its also possible that if I was a more complicated case, didnt already have a medicine protocol that had been successful, or was doing IVF, that the interaction would have been more frequent. I would not say that Dr. K has as much natural bedside manner as other doctors I have experienced, but he is very kind and exceedingly knowledgeable (both of which were most important to me). However, at my first clinic, every appointment was with the doctor. For me, it was fine but for some that may be something more important. That being said, I felt confident that they were reviewing my progression with Dr. K as it happened; he just wasnt spending his time doing my ultrasounds directly. Also, while I will say the nurses/staff were slightly more difficult to get ahold of at times than my first place (probably due to the high volume of clients), they always got back to me in a reasonable amount of time. Plus, once I would get ahold of them, they were extremely thorough in their support.Because this was my second cycle, I understood it a bit more and felt more comfortable researching and finding cost efficient ways to complete the cycle. While they didnt have to, Beth and the team worked to help me complete an application for discounted medications as well as advise me on the types/amounts/etc. when I wanted to order from a less expensive pharmacy further away. I also feel like they only ordered the tests that were absolutely necessary, especially since my last tests had not been completed too long ago; this helped with costs as well.Other aspects that I was impressed by was their adaptability to making the cycle work well for my schedule and even offered to help me have an appointment elsewhere while I was going to be traveling. While that never panned out (and would not have been cost effective), I appreciated that it was an option they were willing to help with. Additionally, when my retrieval made sense to be on a Saturday due to how my body was progressing, they worked on the weekend. The nurse that I had for the retrieval before the procedure was truly wonderful and made me feel so comfortable!Beth and the nursing staff were rockstars and I appreciated how much time they spent answering my questions, emails, and phone calls. I would highly recommend this place to other people I know. The results of my retrieval, as far as mature egg count, were slightly less than my first round, but also it was a year later. Thank you to WCFC for all of the ways that you helped me through this process and the time you spent!

I cannot say enough what a wonderful experience it was to work with Dr. Kushnir and the all the staff at WCFC. They were very transparent about options and costs and helped us to make the best decision for us. The staff was attentive and caring, and Dr. Kushnir even came in on a Sunday morning to do my procedure so that we would have the best chances of success. I am happy to say that we were successful on our first try with IVF and I now have a beautiful healthy baby boy. I have already recommended this office to a friend and will continue to do so.

After multiple unsuccessful IUI attempts at our nearby (San Diego) fertility clinic, we tried our luck with West Coast Fertility. We spoke with Dr. Kushnir virtually and had a great consultation with him and we agreed to move forward. He was kind, considerate, and extremely genuine. West Coasts entire staff were the kindest group of women we had encountered in a medical setting, especially Beth & Denise. They showed a great deal of interest in our journey and took care of us at every turn.Although the drive from San Diego to OC was quite the trek, it was very much worth it. A few months later, we were able to successfully become pregnant for the first time! I am at a loss for words to describe the wonderful experience we had here; we will definitely be returning when we decide to expand our family.

I am so happy I decided to go to West Coast Fertility. The staff is so friendly and make every visit so enjoyable. I learned while listening to others stories when it comes to Fertility treatment that they feel like a number and have no personal connection to their clinic. I can tell you with with confidence this is not the issue with West Coast Fertility. I cannot recommend them enough. This is not the first fertility clinic I’ve worked with so I know a good clinic by experience. When you get fertility treatments you call and visit the clinic several times a week during your treatment. Every single person at west coast fertility center has been so nice and caring, my visits each time has been nothing but pleasant. Dr.K is great but my review is to thank another person who has been such a integral part of my fertility treatment here and that is my coordinator, Beth. Beth is like an angel that was sent from above to guide me during each step of my IVF process. She prepared me for what’s to come step by step, held my hand thru each step and never made me feel like I was bothering her or asking stupid questions. She has been my rock thru my first retrieval and transfer and as I wait the tww to get my results she has been checking up on me constantly to make sure I was relaxed and doing well. She has made going through IVF treatment like a walk in the park and I just want to thank her from the bottom of my heart. She is a genuine, kind, caring person and everything she does is so sincere I could not believe that I had found such gem of a clinic and an angel to help me through this process. Infertility is hard and sometimes getting help can be scary but Beth made the process so seamless and easy. I highly recommend Dr. K, west coast fertility center and all the staff but most importantly the amazing Beth to anyone seeking treatment in their infertility journey. I have yet to find out the results of my transfer but regardless of the results how they treated me I will forever be grateful for. Dr. Kushnir was very pushy for IVF without taking any tests or exploring any other possible treatment. Gave no emotion upon meeting and discussing my history. Staff is horrible as well. I have been asking for my lab results that were taken. Ive emailed and called several times. They said they need to convert the document to a PDF and will send it. Its been several weeks, and still nothing.

Dr. Diaz and his staff are top notch. They treat you like family from the second you walk into the door. I went through IVF with Dr. Diaz in 2018, resulting in my daughters arrival in 2019. Dr. Kushnir is similarly wonderful and is helping to further expand our family currently. The staff is not only incredibly warm, but they are so well informed and meticulous at their jobs. Beth specifically has been a godsend for me on several occasions, even calling me after hours to help ease my mind when I have had questions about the process. I cant sing WCFCs praises enough. Love them all and wouldnt consider going anywhere else.

After several consultations with other Doctors I decided to choose WCFC. I am so grateful that I did. It is very important to find a location you feel comfortable with as it will be sometimes very uncomfortable journey. The staff has been amazing throughout such a vulnerable process. They are caring and patient but also very professional and clean. Dr. Kushnir has changed the pricing which makes it one of the most affordable fertility centers I have checked out. Dr Kushnir and his team are the best! My husband and I rang in the 2022 new year with so much excitement since we had a new insurance that would kick in on January 1st and it thankfully had fertility coverage. I went on a search for the clinic that would be best for my husband and I, and found West Coast Fertility Centers. After browsing the website and reading reviews, my heart told me this is where we needed to go. I’ll never forget the first time I called and Denise answered the phone. I explained to her my husband and I had faced infertility for 5+ years and that I had insurance that offered fertility services. She right away asked for my insurance information and said she would call me back once my insurance was called to figure the ins and outs of what was covered. I cried of happiness because she was so helpful and assured me that she would get someone to do the research for me. We had our first consult with doctor Kushnir the following week and he was so kind, professional, and answered all the questions we had. He made us feel reassured that there would be a solution for us. We’ve had the pleasure of getting to know the majority of the staff and everyone is absolutely amazing!!! Fast forward two months and many appointments later, my husband and I are in our two week waiting period after our embryo transfer. Maria, Niloo, and Maritza answered the many questions I had when we were first going back and forth with insurance. Now Beth and Cindy will respond at whatever hour I text them with any questions I have. There is never a question or doubt in my mind that I have that won’t be answered. I have already recommended WCFC to friends and family looking for fertility treatments. We couldn’t have been blessed with a more amazing clinic!

I have been seeing doctor Kushnir since June of last year, him and his office are always so helpful and they’re always so kind about everything. It’s hard to go through fertility treatments and they handle you with such care. I underwent IUI and IVF with this office and it was successful! I would recommend dr Kushnir and this office to anyone looking for help getting pregnant!

Finally pregnant after two retrievals and four transfers. Dr. Vitaly is who I saw the entire time and I dont regret it.I have a low egg reserve, possible endometriosis and none of my eggs were a great enough quality to make it to blast so each time we tried it was with fingers crossed.Dr. Vitaly and the nurses were always great, very professional and also very sensitive to my whole situation.We tried a number of different strategies, which I appreciate, if one way doesnt work why continue to do the exact same thing twice.And the 4th time was the charm!

The nurses here are all amazing, very hands-on & friendly! They provide variety of fertility treatments at quite affordable prices, and also they offer a virtual consultation. Highly recommend!

After almost 20 years of infertility, we welcomed our beautiful and healthy baby this June! We are forever grateful to West Coast Fertility center for helping make our dream come true!

I did egg freezing at West Coast Fertility after my friend had a good experience here as well. The entire staff are professional and friendly, and I appreciated that I could communicate with Beth, the patient care coordinator, via text no matter the time of day. Everyone there genuinely cared about my experience, and I feel very lucky to have worked with them!

There is so much to commend about the amazing team at west coast fertility centers, and we ended up with a pregnancy, 16 weeks today! Prior to coming here, my wife and I had been through two failed IVF cycles in our home town of Houston. They had told us we would unlikely be successful on our own and wanted us to move forward with donor eggs and sperm. We were referred to Dr Kushnir through a colleague who listened to our clinical course carefully , disagreed with that prior recommendation and offered an innovative regimen for better success.His staff from Beth to Cindy and Maria (many more fantastic team members as well) were warm, enthusiastic, and very easily accessible, and facilitated remote career in Texas seemlessly, only needing to come to California for retrievals and transfers. They made us feel at home despite being 1000 miles away from ours. Dr Kushnir was quickly available by email and phone at all times. We went through 3 cycles with him each with improving outcomes on the prior cycle given scientifically based medication adjustments. Of note, my wife had immune mediated rejection of an embryo as well, and Dr Kushnir utilized a regimen that got us through it all. Additionally, when we asked for researched based evidence he always provided peer reviewed articles when possible to back up clinical decisions. Even if we hadnt been successful, we would have been incredibly grateful for the wonderful team at wcf, but honestly we were so happy we chose them as we don’t believe the outcome would have been the same elsewhere. Thank you again Dr Kushnir and team!

Dr. Kushnir and his team have been so wonderful. Dr. Kushnir was patient with me and he didnt even judge when I told him I want a Sagittarius, Scorpio or Aquarius child, a fire sign or water sign like me or the dad. In fact he had his staff show me the pregnancy chart -the first day of meeting him. He was amazing and he answered all of my questions, I especially felt comfortable since he understands PCOS and unlike other doctors he didnt judge. at the fact that im just very over having PCOS and feel like I can get no relief.I never felt upsold, pushed, or rushed into any treatments, in fact I feel like he showed me ALL my options and left it up to me and ultimately I ended up having 23 eggs, 18 mature, 14 fertilized and 11 embryos made it to day 5.. this is amazing considering that I have PCOS. After the retrieval, he addressed my ovaries being overstimulated by seeing me several times after the egg retrieval. He encouraged me to call his cell if I had issues. I felt reassured I could get through this period of discomfort. Dr. Kushnir and his team helped to revive my hope of starting a family with my PCOS and all. His staff, Beth and Maria have been so understanding and patient with me, this review is to commend them for being so nice to me.

I’m grateful to have found West coast Fertiltiy! The staff is wonderful! They were available at all hours. This is vital especially when you are on so many meds and hormones! It’s great to be able to get a response as soon as I ask my question.The first round my husband and I needed every hand holding we could get! Dr Diaz was thorough, explained everything multiple times and relayed appropriate expectations.Nurse Beth was amazing!! We have chosen WCFC because it has the most affordable pricing out of all the fertility clinics we have looked at. While the people at the clinic seemed to be very friendly and nice, Dr. Kushnir is a little aloof and seems to be always in a hurry to leave. That was fine to me because our impression of him is that he is very good at what he does.The whole process of IVF went well for a first timer like me and we did end up pregnant, and we are grateful for that.I would also say, that the people at the clinic did made the process seem easy and very comfortable to us.But then after the transfer, every visit now has a price. The second beta hcg blood test for $80, and $250 for the first OB scan.For someone who paid out of pocket (not covered by insurance) this adds up including medication refills from the fertility pharmacy that is also expensive.I am not blaming them for the medication prices, but what frustrated us was that after our first scan which we paid $250 for, they expect us to come back again after a week for another scan.That scan was literally a 3 min. vaginal ultrasound by the tech, then she came back after a couple of mins just to say that Dr. Kushnir said that everything looked alright. Thats it. You go home with a couple grainy ultrasound pictures.If it was Dr. Kushnir who did the ultrasound while also giving insight or clarity on why could it be that there is only 1 embryo on my uterus on that day even if we did a 2 embryo transfer, the $250 would have been more reasonable for us, but it wasnt.We never scheduled for the 2nd scan that they were saying we needed to do again because we dont want to keep paying for every visit.I never heard anything from them again until I needed a refill from the fertility pharmacy and I had to call them to forward my prescription to the pharmacy.It is IMPOSSIBLE to grab a hold of anyone, they are always busy or are in procedures, and even if you ask for a call back, they never do in a timely manner. You are left to email them just to get your message or inquiry known, so expect your message to even be responded to a whole lot slower.This is where me and my husband felt like they do not care anymore because you are done with your procedure.If I havent called for my prescription to be forwarded to the pharmacy, I wouldnt hear anything from them about how to stop the medications that I was put on. I was just left under the impression that I just had to continue taking the medications until 12 weeks of pregnancy.Then I tried again to talk to someone about it, of course no one is available and of course I did not get the call back that I requested, so I emailed and didnt get a response on how to stop the medications until 4 days later.We have a couple of embryos left with them, because the first year of storage is included in the package, but because of this experience we will soon be looking up other fertility clinics that will accept the transfer of our frozen embryos from WCFC to their clinic. Maybe our next transfer at a different fertility clinic will have a better outcome and better aftercare than what we had at WCFC.

I like everything about this Dr. Diazs office. Dr. Diaz is always patient and explains everything clear and easy enough that I could understand.His team is the best! Beth took care of me during the whole IVF process. Whenever I have questions, I always know I can rely on her! She gave me very clear instructions and also organized everything so well that I didnt get overwhelmed.The receptionist, Norma makes you just feel like home. Cindy and Denise are nurses who assist Dr. Diaz when he does Ultrasound. They are both nice, sweet and professional. Maya is the recovery nurse. She definitely knows how to ease you before surgeries.To sum up, if you are looking for an IVF treatment, West Coast Fertility is the right place Id like to recommend!

Since the day I walked in the staff has been attentive and gracious. They have been available to answer all my questions and help me with shot training. Dr. Kushnir was open to the amount of IUIs and IVF cycles I wanted to try and I thought the prices were very fair, compared to other places that my friends went to.

Each time I got pregnant but for some reason the embryo would either stop growing or I miscarried, but Dr. Diaz and staff did not give up until they found the right adjustments for me to have a successful result this time around. And I have to say that after each unsuccessful attempt, the staff was so caring and understanding, that I would not recommend anyone go anywhere else but West Coast Fertility for all your fertility needs. We started our IVF journey with WCF February 2021. I went through two egg retrievals and recently a FET (frozen egg transfer). Dr. Diaz and his team are amazing. They are so good at providing all the information you need about starting the process and they also are good at providing as need information as your going through it. I personally like that because I never felt too overwhelmed with information. They were also available to answer any questions or concerns I had even after office hours via text message. Maria was amazing at walking us through the process from the financial aspect and the IVF process as well. The nurses (Beth, Cindy, & Denise) were always so welcoming and sweet and kind. It’s a great feeling to walk in and be greeted by your name. My transfer was done by an associate of Dr. Diaz and when that transition occurred I was reassured multiple times that I was in good hands. I love the communication from this office, it is so refreshing and comforting during a uncertain and exciting time. I am so grateful for you all.

We loved this place, Dr. Kushnir is excellent, Beth Torres is so sweet and really cares about the patients, our procedure was a very successful. We’re going back to this place after we have our son.

Maria is marvelous and patiently answered all our questions and concerns. She is amazing in taking the time in showing us how to prepare the medications and the injections.What is extraordinary is the overwhelming feeling of being part of family.Cindy and the whole medical staff made my wife comfortable by their friendly attitude and their explanations during the blood draw, the ultrasound appointments, and even during the insertion procedures.It doesnt feel like we were going to a fertility clinic but more like visiting a bunch of good friends.

Dealing with infertility can be very difficult emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially. We were so happy to feel supported in all these ways from Dr. Diaz and his wonderful staff. The nurses were always very friendly and supportive and Dr. Diaz did a great job explaining each step along the way so that we understood exactly what was going on. Beth, Cindy, and Norma always made me feel welcome and taken care of. Elaine was amazing and I am so grateful that Dr. Diaz understands the importance of offering mindfulness and meditation resources like her to help through the process. My friend introduced me to Dr. Diaz (West Coast Fertility Center) because they had a successful IVF with Dr. Diaz and I am very happy with the medical staffs. I wish I could find this fertility center earlier. I have been to different infertility groups and did not get all the informations for IVF process. However, WCFC made everything as easiest way as possible to understand all the steps with their IVF package. They will break down what included in the package and always remind you step by step cuz you will forget things during the process. First, I would like to say Dr. Diaz is very gentle and experienced doctor, I can tell he is very detailed person that he needs all your medical records and tests to be done to make the best decision of which procedure fits me. When I went to different clinics, they always tell me to try IUI even they know there is a problem with my husband sperms and IUI won’t work and therefore I failed IUI 2 times at different clinics. When Dr Diaz looked at my medical records, he made a decision that IVF is best option for me since I also have stenosis ovarian tubes so it will be hard to conceive naturally (even with IUI). Another thing I am happy with this center because everything happens there: from lab tests, egg retrieval, freeze embryos, transfer embryos. Also, special thanks to Beth who always help me with mixing the injections and remind me about medications. That reduces a lot of stress! I know when you have to through egg retrieval, the stressful part is mixing the medication to inject the right dose. Beth asked me if I was nervous, and I told her I did and she prepared everything for me so I went home and just injected the time of the schedules. That’s an amazing thing of this staff! During the first visit, Maria explained me very well all the steps I had to do and I feel everything is just at ease. When I come to the office, everyone has positive vibes (especially Cindy/Denise who draws my blood test; I can see her smile behind the mask 😉) And nurse Maya, She always helps me feel relax talking to her before my anesthesia/procedure. I just had my embryo transfer 2 days ago and now resting and wishing for the best results. 🙏🏻 No matter what happens, I still think the IVF is a journey and it needs to have a cooperation with an amazing office and WCFC deserves the high standards of how the doctor and the staffs care to the patients. I totally think the money we spent on the IVF process with the care we received completely worth it! I always pray for Doctor Diaz and the Staffs always healthy because they have such a responsible job to make sure everything happen at right time! Love you all! ❤️

Ive only been to the office once but I already love the doctor and his staff. Norma knew me by name before I signed in and was very sweet and professional. Dr. Diaz took his time with me and was very knowledgeable. I had visited Kaisers fertility program and was told I was missing my right ovary. Dr. Diaz found it within seconds of the ultrasound as well as the left. This will make a huge impact in our options moving forward. Im so happy to have found this place

WCFC has a great team. Maritza, Dr. Kushnir, Maria, Denise, Beth (based on the sequence that I got to meet them). They focus on different parts of the process, but formed an effective process.Its a process to know new terms (especially for people who is not from a medical background like me). I only had a general idea on the goal that I would like to achieve, and WCFC turned it into actionable plans. Marias email guide on the calendar preparation is clear and easy to follow. Dr. Kushnir is efficient and did good timing on different steps. Beth helped during the retrieval process and always followed up timely. Denise helped with the blood work etc. and is very nice. I believe there were also some other people that I met at once, but couldnt remember all the names.All in all, I felt its a great choice that I came across WCFC. There was great result with one try for egg retrieval and I believe its the same case for the following step... I didnt know what will happen before I contacted WCFC, but good result with one-time try indeed saved a lot for patients (from financial, time and energy perspective).I would highly recommend based on what I have experienced at WCFC.

We’ve had such a good experience West Coast Fertility. Dr. Diaz and his staff, Beth, Cindy, & Denise are so helpful and always there to answer your questions even on their days off. I have been with them for a year now and we tried to do anything and everything before going to IVF, timed intercourse & IUI. Unfortunately nothing was working so we moved forward with IVF. We had to pay out of pocket because our insurance didn’t cover it so obviously it’s not cheap. Beth was constantly trying to make cost cheaper which was a huge help. Started stims in June and had my egg retrieval a week later. I was able to freeze 4 embryos. Had my first FET transfer in August and got my first positive pregnancy test I’ve ever had. We are so greatful for them as this probably wouldn’t have happened without their assistance.

I have been working with Dr. David Diaz and his team for about 8 years. We have had ups and downs through this process. Long story short, I am dealing with several health concerns with hormones and etc. However, up to this day, I’ve been blessed with a certain assurance that everybody is doing his/her best in this team. I couldn’t have done any of these things without them, and they never quit on me. If you are looking for a clinic that would go above and beyond for you, this is the place.

West Coast Fertility is amazing! The doctor is absolutely amazing! He truly cares about his patients and makes sure you are doing well throughout the process. The staff is super friendly and one good perk is that they communicate with you via text when you have any questions or concerns. I would recommend this clinic for your journey.Edit: I had to edit this review and drop 1 star. Now that we are close to a finish, we realized that billing has been overcharging us. When we brought it to their attention, Niloo said that we have “credit.” This makes me wonder if they would have told us this if we didn’t say anything and why overcharge us? I do recommend knowing and checking what you are paying and being charged for.One thing that was really bothering me is that Niloo said, when we brought up other questions regarding billing, she did not give clear answers but instead stated well we got a blessing out of this. Word of advice, this is not something you tell a couple that has been trying for years and going through emotional and financial rollercoaster to try other options. The entire staff, Dr. Diaz, Maria, Beth, Norma, all of them, became our biggest cheerleaders and cheered us on each step of the way. I had called and given my insurance information and the front office said that I was in network. So we moved forward with the consultation where I got charged $240. Then, a week later, they call us to say that they are not in network. Not only that but they refuse to refund the money we put down even though we would have never spent the time or money with this office knowing they were out of network.When I got there, they made us wait an hour before seeing us - then we find out its because the front office didnt let them know that we were waiting - even though I asked twice why the wait was so long.What a waste.

I highly recommend WCFC. Everyone is compassionate, friendly, and respectful. My medication was explained thoroughly and my questions/concerns were always answered in a timely manner. They made this journey much less stressful. Thank you all.

As a registered nurse, I have had the opportunity of interacting with countless health care providers and have witnessed plenty of unpleasant interactions. As a patient, my interactions with Dr. Diaz and his staff have been are extremely pleasant, and I cant thank this team enough!!! Dr. Diaz and his staff are very professional, kind, caring and very knowledgeable. I appreciate and respect how well they all communicate. I have gotten phone calls, text messages, e-mails and prompt follow up on any tests, labs results, medications etc etc. Any time Ive had a question, no matter how minor, someone at the office has taken the time to thoroughly answer it or have the appropriate staff member call me back to address my concerns. Thank you all!! I have been impressed at how personalized the care has been, and to be honest, most of the time, it has felt as if I was the only appointment.( But trust me, I know theyre busy). Things that I have really enjoyed ....and not necessarily in any order:1. Patient confidentiality- very gentle, respectful, conscientious and genuine staff. They never yell out anything and thats rare in todays fast paced health care systems 👍2. Dr. Diazs thorough and step by step explanation of any procedure before, during and after. I was seen as a new patient here and my results came back that I had a low AMH count. More tests were performed, one of which was a SIS, which I was told was an HSG. The test was beyond painful, so it was stopped and concluded that I had blocked fallopian tubes. Both of them. I got dressed, while in an immense amount of pain and my husband and I sat down to talk to Dr Diaz and his office manager about options. We were told both tubes were closed and that IVF was the recommended treatment. My husband asked to see my results and instead we were shown other images of other tubes that were closed. I asked the doctor, Based on my results, if I were your daughter, what would you do? He said IVF.Over the weekend I was Googling the heck out of blocked Fallopian tubes and found that a major reason for blocked tubes are untreated STDs. I was mortified and angry with myself. I beat myself up all weekend and cried and cried. I called the doctor for clarity on a Monday and he said, oh no, sometimes these things just happen. He was very sweet at this point. I felt reassured that my past hadnt ruined my future, but I was still extremely upset. I was reassured that IVF was the only option and we hung up.I started my round of extremely costly medication, shot myself in the stomach 2 times a day and visited them every other day for blood panels and ultrasounds to see how things were shaping up. When my numbers and follicle size wasnt increasing, Dr Diaz jacked up my medication to astronomical heights. Once when I went in I let the team know I was lightheaded and sure enough, my blood pressure was through the roof. Not one person cared and they jacked my meds up again.I was not given a follow up appointment for THREE DAYS and when I came in on the FOURTH DAY, my numbers had dropped significantly and thus we had to cancel the round of $6000 worth of medication. The reason for the drop? My estrogen had dropped because I had ALREADY OVULATED AND THEY MISSED IT.Fast forward to two months later. I had the courage to try again and visited another doctor in the same area who is AMAZING. She requested my chart notes from dr Diazs office and received a measly 5 pages of information. One of which stated, (and I can barely write this it hurts so bad to have been this deceived by a doctor) that my test results were inconclusive and I should have an HSG. It should be noted that HSG is not offered in their office. So either someone missed referring me out for a second test, or Dr Diaz plain saw dollar signs between my PPO insurance that had some fertility coverage and the expensive purse that I carry.This new doctor tested me the next day by doing an HSG in her office and lo and behold, BOTH tubes were open. My mom and my husband were both waiting outside for the news and everyone cried when they saw the screen. My utter joy came crashing down when the realization of what happened at Dr Diazs office hit me like a ton of bricks.We sat in the parking lot, called Dr Diazs office and asked to speak with him. He answered and I let him know what happened. He has OBVIOUSLY been through similar patient complaints in the past because his poker face could be both felt and heard through the phone. I sobbed and asked how he could do this. My husband wanted to be refunded for some of the costs we incurred by their gross misconduct, to which Dr Diaz replied, how about you come and try IUI here at no cost. To me, this was him admitting fault. And why on Gods green Earth would I ever want to step foot in to his office again?? My husband then pressed the issue of a refund after we were still receiving bills from THEIR office to which he replied, well, what if I make our bills go away? And with that, boys and girls, the bills went away...The moral of this story is simple: Dont ever step foot in this office, and ALWAYS follow insurance protocol of trying IUI rounds BEFORE jumping to IVF...especially if it is forced upon you by a lying, deceitful doctor with a God complex and an incompetent staff.
